Speaker 1 (00:02):
And welcome back to the locker room.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It is the radio got doctor Mike Prince along with
the Guru himself, Coach Van Petaway.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Coach, how you doing today, sir?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I'm doing great God, Doctor Prince. This is another great
day that He's given all of us, and we just
need to take advantage of me.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Yeah. I tried to take advantage, coach.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Thought I was gonna catch your sleeping but my panthers
let me down.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
But nonetheless, it is another day to rejoice and be
glad here.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
That is absolutely correct.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
So you know I was getting the coach and I said, yeah,
we're gonna make up this ground, but couldn't couldn't quite
get there. So I guess we will go back and
rehash get another defeated week for me. We're running out
of week's, Coach, were running.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Out of weeks.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Give out our letter grades, look at what we got
going on, and see what topic we're gonna kick around
the horn on too.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, here we go. All right, this past week you
had Southern an Arkansas Pine Bluff. Arkansas Pine Bluff showed
Southern that this is not a year for them. Arkasaw
Pine Bluff won that game. One. I'm gonna give Arkansas

(01:24):
Pine Bluff an A.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Plus, yes, sir, And yes.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Southern's gonna have to take a DAL on this.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yeah, I'm more like a D minus on Southern, coach,
because this ain't your Grandpa's Jaguars this whole, and they're
about jumping out of buildings down on the bluff.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
They're not used to this kind of the limit and
stress that they're under right now. And I feel for them,
but I don't feel too bad for him.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Coach.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
You got what I'm saying, because there's a time in
a season for everything. So I'm in agreement with that
Pine Bluff getting that eight plus. But I gave Southern
a D minus.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Man. They had showed up at all all season.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Right right right. And then next up out in Houston, Texas,
it was all corn State in Texas Southern. All corn
State shocked a lot of people went out there and
won that game thirty three to fourteen. All court stated,
get an AD in Texas Southern. They don't how to
get a D on this one.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, Hey, I'm right there with you, coach.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
In fact, I gave all Coin an eight plus because
they shocked the socks off of me and just like
the rest of swack nations. But you know, when you
look at it, historically, all coin has always been a
difficult nut to crack, not only for Texas Southern up
with my beloved Panthers. So they proved themselves worthy and

(02:46):
Texas Southern had an opportunity to gain from ground, but
they fumbled the ball, so I had to give them
that d coach right right right.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Then next up it was thrown Cookment and Mississippi Valley
cook Been won that game forty two to thirty four.
I give Ben an A and a rocketing them an
A plus and we need to be watching be thron
Cookman now. And miss I'm telling you, Missipivala, I gave

(03:15):
them a B.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I gave Valley a B plus because Valley Valley, I
know they hadn't showed in the win column, but they've
been very competitive. I gave uh the Wildcats at A
as well.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
But I'm really you know, and i know I'm gonna sound.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Like a Valley grad, but I'm really liking what they're
putting together down there, knowing what the resources they have
to work.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
With, right right right, And then next ups in the
state of Florida. Also, Uh, Jackson State versus Florida and them.
Jackson State won that game forty one to sixteen. I'm
gonna give Jackson State an A for bouncing back Florida
and them. I'm sorry Coach Cosey, he gotta take a

(04:02):
DAL on this.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Yeah, it's a D not for dan D a D
for dog on it, you know. And we lost another one.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
And of course you got to keep rolling with the
JSU Tigers.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
They're they're proving. Uh man, it's gonna really get critical
between they and Alabama States. Deans continue the where they're
going right now, Jackson State has some inside advantage, but
Alabama State is hoping that they can stumble up somewhere.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
So I gave jack Stated an A as well.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Right right then, next up down that Grammley Louisiana. Gramman
played the host of My My Bulldogs. Gramney won that
game thirteen to ten. I'm gonna give this was a uh.
This was a game that put everybody to sleep. Ramnet
won the game. I'll give them a PE and my
bull Dogs and don't have to take a fee on this.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Well, I actually gave I gave A and M a
C plus and the reason I gave with c plus,
they were on the road and they were shocking. I
was monitoring that game, and I'm like, oh my, I said, coach,
gonna gonna regret this one here.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
But then Gramley stole it from them.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
And so I gave Grammar to be plugs for never
say quit, right, and they and they did what they
had to do. And you say that game for people
to see, I like defensive battles like that, Coach, I
really do you know?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
I was entertained right right.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I just like to see that scoreboard light up that
I guess that's that's uh, that's.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
The basketball in your coach, that's all here. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
And then the game of the week, uh, your Panthers
playing host to Alabama State. Alabama State came in and
eased out of there with a thirty one to twenty
eight victory. I'm gonna give Alabama State an ad for
playing well on the road. I'm gonna be honest now,
I'm gonna give you a Pathers B on this one

(05:56):
because I thought they fought they enough to win the
football game. But I guess one of the things that
Kata Nation's gonna look at is you can not turn
the ball over against.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
A good football team, which is why I gave him
a C minus. Okay, okay at home and gave up
a fourteen point lead at one time to coach, so
I had to give him a C minus. I gave
the Harness an A on the road.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Now.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
A disappointing factor out of all of this is that
as exciting of a year and newbody has had.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
He got hurt yet again.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yep, And man, is just you're talking about if there
weren't for bad luck, there wouldn't be any look at
all for this young man having a breakout year. Never
doubted the talent, but man, that he's a fragile young man.
Not saying that he's so fragile, but as far as
playing football, which is a very physical sport, and he

(06:57):
been at the quarterback position, whereas one of the more
protected positions.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Man, it makes you scratch your head.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah, when you look across the squack this year, the
quarterback situation is just up in the air.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Man.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Every team has had it seems like every team has
had a major injury at the quarterback position. We're playing
second and in some cases like Alabama and you're playing
your Thursday quarterback.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Where in my Panthers case, we don't know who's number one,
who's number two because we rotate them out like spinning tops.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
And I you know why we.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Stuck with Peters so long after you know, having four turnos.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
It beyond me.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
But I'm not the coach. But it is what it is. Coaches,
it's the year of the quarterback. Has not been the
year for the swack.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Yeah, that's absolute correct, absolute correct. All right, let's get
into this week. We're starting off where Jackson State will
be at Mississippi Valley. Uh, that's gonna be a great game.
But I think we know how this is gonna go. Yeah,
let's see it, sir.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Well, coach is definately in position on me in to
try to look for miracles. I'm not gonna use this
game as an example. I'm gonna stick with Jackson State, sir.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yes, you're right, Jackson State all the way on this one. Sir.
Uh huh uh. Be Thorne Cookman they're on the road,
they'll be at Gramblin.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Oh boy.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Uh, I know Bethrone Cookman is the better team. I
know they are, but I gotta start making some changes. Somewhere, coach,
And since Gramma's at home, I'm gonna have to pick
gramblin this this week, sir.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
All right, you got Grammy and I'm gonna stay.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
With I know you're gonna stick with Betoon, Sir. You
got to.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, they're playing, they're playing well, they're playing well, they're playing.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
I know what the outcome is gonna be. When I'm
at desperate, I'm throwing hell Mary right now.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
All right, well, here's another game that you might be
willing to do that with Tech your Southern at Alabama State.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
What do you mean throwing him here? Coach?

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Coach, coach, coach, I can't fall for the Oakie dog
every week, Coach, give me the hornage at home, please, sir, Yes.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Sir, and I agree with you, Sir. Couldn't pull that
one off. You couldn't pull that one off.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Wow, yep, yep.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
And then he would go front in them at Actors
Palm Low.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
I'm gonna take Golden Lions. I'm gonna take the Golden Lions, Sir.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
I think I'm gonna agree with you on that. Cozy.
For some reason, they can't play consistent football.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Coach. You got to pick Sam. You this week.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Man, No, sir, No, sir, how would hey look with
all with only two weeks left? Why would I let
you try to get back in the game.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Man, okay, coach, I got.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Here's one that you might be at the Gablo Shoven
at all point.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
State I'm taking off. I'm taking all coin all day,
all day. Yes, sir, I agree with you on that one. Yes, sir,
now here is one where I know we go.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
We already got one uh one split, but now here's
your opportunity to split again.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
No, I ain't no splitting on this one. I'm taking
my panther, sir.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Okay, So you're taking the panther, all right. Well I'm
I'm gonna help you out here because I'm taking my
bull dog.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Well, I didn't expect anything. I didn't expect anything less
from me than that, sir. Ye all that noise you've
been talking off season, Oh.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, it's coming to lead right now.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
It comes to the head at two o'clock, yes, sir,
two o'clock on Saturday, Yes, sir, two o'clock on Saturday,
where when Mind and Folks Say will be doing a
simulcast with the A and M Bulldog.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Broadcast at the Open Mic Broadcast Network and we're excited
to be partnered up this weekend, saving us a little coin.
Coach happened to get out there the Huntsville. But it
ain't gonna matter, because the bulldogs are gonna have a
tail where the bull don't even have a tall. They
taill be nipped off. We just gonna nip off the
rest of their tail when we come back with that
road win, sir.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
But see what's gonna happen when the bulldogs crunts with
a bulldog crunts down on that leg of that panther. Oh,
it's hold path can't get away, it will.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
We're talking about a bulldog versus a pristine premiere predator
of a panther.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
It's no comparison, sir, and a black panther.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
On top of that, I got you, I got you,
I got you.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know so I gotta have look, I gotta have
a bragging right for that.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I might lose the pigs for this season, but I'm
a show winning his head to head this week. That's
for sure. That's for sure. So we we got the pigs.
He we got everything. And before we go into our topic, Coach,
did you hear those whistles blowing and those sneakers squeaking,
And you know the season tipped off officially last night,

(12:33):
you know. And you know Grambling took care of business
Houston Tolson. But I know you got some more to
share with us and bring us up to speed, sir.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Right on the yes, on the man's side. Grammley took
care of Houston Tolson. They won that game ninety one
forty seven. Your Panthers played at home. They won that
game ninety five, paid the College of Biblical Studies forty
eight Biblical Study. We should have prayed a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
And then and had to pray advance right.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
And then you had Arkansas playing host to Southern Arkansas
won that game one on nine and seventy seven. And
then U. A. B. Played the host of Mississippi Valley.
You had b won that game one oh sixty fifty five.
My Bulldogs played the host of Blue Mountain Christian I
had to looked them up and then won that game

(13:28):
eighty to sixty. South Florida played host of Florida, and
them South Florida won that game one oh two to
sixty seven. Illinois played the host of Jackson State. Illinois
won that game one thirteen to fifty five. Washington played

(13:49):
host to Arkansas Pine Bluff. Washington won that game ninety
four to fifty. Chexas Southern was at Gonzaga and it
was such a late game they still had not posted
that score.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
But the game of the night, well, actually, to help
you out, Gunzaga actually won that game. I forget the
actual score, but I think I shared it on my
Twitter feed and for Mike Prinshaw.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
But they did. Gunzaga did get the victory.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Right now, here's the game of the night. Oh, thank
you for that. Auburn played the host of for Thune Cookman.
Auburn won the game ninety five to ninety in overtime.
But Thune Cookman should have won this basketball game. Let's
just say they were not gonna allow Cookman to get

(14:37):
the check and.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Fired and football coach all in the same week. No,
that wasn't gonna happen. Coach, that wasn't gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Right. Yeah, I'm proud of Posteel and his program and
what he has done. Uh, he's one of the people
that took advantage of the portal and my they had
an outstanding game last night. We were trying to keep
up with that game while we were doing the Alabama

(15:06):
and Them game. And gold Cookman is a team that
on the men's side that everybody predicted would be the
team to beat. And if last night is any indication,
we got to get ready man, yeah ready.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
And to give you an update and feel that Voyd coach,
Gonzaga was ninety eight to forty three.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Over Texas Southern Wow. Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Well, you know, Gonzaga is one of the big boys,
premier boys anyway, which is is kind of leading to
my one of my topics of the of the week coach.
With all this realignment and restructuring of the men's tournament,
the expand not to expand, you're seeing some of these

(15:56):
power conferences such as the ACE, they're getting away from
playing twenty conference games to playing eighteen conference games, and
you're seeing that trickle down to your group six guys
for so they can get better competition, to get better

(16:18):
looks when it comes to these at large bids.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
And my question is a should we fcs.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Mirror that and how is that going to impact us
of getting some of these money games in the future.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
We'll see that that has been that has been a
question that's been out there. I've always said, now, the
athletic directors are gonna have to come up with another
mechanism in order to raise money because of it, because
of them wanting to get into that field, they're gonna
be forced to drop some of these teams. We're not

(16:56):
gonna have all these guaranteed games that we're gonna be
able to rely on, so uh, they gotta come up
with uh another way of bringing money in other than
the game guarantees.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Okay, it's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
It's gonna be. You're gonna end up playing more uh
of the other games. In other words, you're not gonna
be able to get all the power of five games
in and that you're guarantees they're gonna be smaller.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Right, We're not gonna to get the big money.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
It leads me to this, should we bother ourselves by
scheduling the College of Biblical Studies, the the Houston Clicens uh?
Or should we just embrace who we are and just
keep on moving forward and try to adjust somewhere else

(17:51):
down the road.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Right, It's just the only difference is you're not gonna
be able to use the game guarantees as a revenue
stream like we've been in the past, So you got
to come up with other means of coming up with money.
That's gonna have to go back to us doing a
better job of getting our own fans into our own buildings.

(18:17):
In other words, your home crowd. You gotta make money
off of your home game.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
And say that topic for later because because I know
I'm the land I'm coming in landing hard on that one.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
But I get I.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Do get what you're saying and what I was thinking about.
As far as the strength of schedule, the RPI ranking,
you know, to even be considered.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
It's hard enough.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
You know that we only have the one guaranteed bid,
but us getting in that large bed is likely not
to happen.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
So with that being said and.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Being on the forefront, do we not even bother about
trying to schedule or just trying now schedule where.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
You can win as many games as you can and
hope that you do well in the tournament.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
That isn't that is an option. That's an option that
I think some of the something the schools will have
to look at. But uh, but but it's gonna be interesting.
It's gonna be interesting now. Also, now, last night, you know,
on the women's side, Uh huh we we we had
our first upset of the year. But we're gonna start
off with Florida State playing hosts to Florida and them.

(19:21):
Florida State won that game one twelve to thirty nine. Uh,
your panthers, lady panthers. They were on the road at
University of Texas a Passo Passo won that game eighty
four to sixty. Alabama State went to Georgia and Georgia
won that game seventy three to forty four. Pathrone Cookman

(19:43):
went to Central Florida and they won that game seventy
five to thirty six. Arkansas, I'm sorry, Pathrone. All Corn
State played host to Nichols State. All Corn Nichols State
won that game seventy two to sixty six. Jackson State

(20:03):
was at home and they played the Mississippi University women
and wow, they won that game one seventeen to forty.
Southern was on the road at our our won that
game eighty sixty fifty one. And here's your upset. Memphis
played the host of Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yes, sir, Arkansas Pine Bluff went.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
In there and won that game sixty nine and sixty four.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Go swack, Baby, go swack all day long, all day long. Well,
you know Memphis, you know, one of those programs trying
to get somewhere in the power for a ranking.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
And they were saying, Nah, we don't think we want
to deal with y'all just yet. And this is not
hipping their case at all, nothing the case at all.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
That's true. That's true. So the round balls are bouncing
when you still have two weeks of the regular season
football left in the swax. So it's a great time
of the year. And then at the same time you
got the soccer tournament going on for our women, and
then volleyballer Bill up Neck.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Yes sir, yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
So it's they say, big hand, little hand service around
the clock, always something going on with the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
The coach's time for my soapbox.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Now, I'm about to get enough. I'm getting two of them.
I'm gonna stand on top of it so I can
really be seen and heard. It was reported, and I
used that term very very loosely, that fifty nine one
hundred people and matter of fact, five nine hundred and
sixty two people showed up for this marquee matchup between

(21:55):
Alabama State and my beloved Prairie View. Add them University
Panthers and first thing. Bad enough that we lost, but
that's what happens. You compete.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
But you.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Fudged these numbers, Coach. There was not and I'll be
geners to say six thousand. There was not six thousand
people there. You may have had twenty five hundred people there. Wow,
And that's ridiculous, embarrassing, shameful. I've heard every excuse in

(22:35):
the world on why people didn't show up, but the
one that is most dumbfounding to me because homecoming was
the week prior that. People said that they were hungover
from homecoming, which is why they did comeback for this
premier game. Now, unfortunately, there's a tug award between the

(23:01):
true fan and the not so true fan going on
in TV nation over social media on who's a better
fan and who is this and who is that?

Speaker 1 (23:11):
When the dust hast settled, Coach, when the dust just settled.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
And I've said it all the time, I noticed issues
at all other places, but I didn't graduate from all
other places.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
I graduated from Prairie View. You have a winning program,
you have a new coach and a new culture, I
would say, but I'm just a firm believer that once
his time has expired. By that I'm saying his contract,

(23:44):
there's no reason for coach jackson't even hang around. It's bad, yep.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
And now I'm gonna tell you something because with prior
to him getting to Prayerview, the school that he coached
that it was one of the top had one of
the top at tennis records. So he's used to the
stands being filled, he's used to people coming out seeing

(24:12):
the product that he put on the field. So I
think I'm just like you, sir. I think that if
it doesn't change, I think you all may lose a
very good football coach.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
I agree with you. Yeah, it is bad. I'm actually
going down to the coach.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
I you know, you can fuss, holler and complain and
I'm gonna still talk about it because.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
It is what it is.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Is part of the journalistic responsibility in me. But this,
this is bad, man, this is bad. And we had
better turnout and participation when we didn't have quote unquote nothing,
no wins, no facilities, no nothing, but the people seem

(24:58):
to care more. And I don't know if it's just
percent of the times people got shorter attentions fans or what.
I can't pendpoint this day.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Well, I don't think it's not just regulated to priview.
I think it's all over. I'll give you a prime
example of the basketball game last night last Monday. We
drew almost six thousand people last night. I don't think
they had fifteen hundred people. So it's not for a

(25:34):
basketball game and you got a good product. I don't.
So it's not just priview. It's all over, all over
the swat and we just got to find a way.
We got to find a way to engage our fans
to get them to come out no matter who we're playing.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Okay, coach, we keep saying sign this way, and there's
no saying. You can lead a horse the water, but
you can't make them drink. And as as to me,
we're at risk when I say we, I'm talking about
preview swack in general. Now, if the numbers don't improve,

(26:17):
we're at risk of cannibalizing our own marketability with any
type of media rights deals, right, yep, yep, correct, you know,
because what they want you to tune in, and maybe
we got.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Too many streaming opportunities. Maybe we need to be restrictive
and don't stream everything, because it seemed like that's the.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Excuse, right, Well, I found out it was gonna be
streamed on TV, so I didn't just bother the calm.
But there are these media, right people are only gonna
pay so much for so long when the product is
looking lack luster on the screen.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Yeah. Yeah, but but you you know, that's a that's
an issue that I don't think anybody has the answer to.
Every time we think we got were on top of it, the.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Bottom falls out.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
So I don't think it's gonna be a quick fix
for us in this situation.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Well, like, yes, we'll have to do like the College
of Biblical Studies, little praying, fast and.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Hope the change will come in our lifetime. How about that?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Right? But despite that loss, the Panthers are still the
leader in the West.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Of course, the quagmires.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
In the east where Jackson State, Alabama State, and Bathrone
Cookman all four and one. I do know that the
tiebreaking between Obama State and Jackson goes to Jackson, UH
and Bethoon. You know they they have an.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Opportunity, right because they yet to play jack.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Right, but correct that that that game up to take
place next weekend.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Uh huh uh huh so uh, it's either way. We
went from the pole.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Position of potentially hosting this thing to where if we
hold on to the West, we're going to have to end.
We'll get on our traveling shoes because as far as
you lose to Alabama State, and Alabama State lost to Jackson,
even though Prairie View has not played Jackson, it seemed

(28:34):
like it forever in the day. And I think with
the common opponent and you got a couple other common
opponents that these teams I have are sorted out.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
So either way, Prairiy is gonna have to be on
the road traveling, right.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
That's the way it looks right now.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Yes, sir, Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Well, we got through another week and and I can't
gain ground because coach you won't act right and kick
Sam you But you know that that's okay.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Though, that's okay. We're gonna still get it.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I'm gonna get this head to hit this week and
then we're gonna let it all settle from there. With
that being said, sir, I want to give you some
closing thoughts and comments for this week in the floors
now yours.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Well, it's been it's been another great week, and I'm
really excited because now that the seasons are about to change. Uh,
you got soccer championships coming up. Well, by the way,
you all are hosting right the soccer championship. Then you
got volleyball championships, you got basketball starting up. So it's

(29:36):
a very excited time here in this WAX. And I
would like to encourage you to continue doing what you're doing, uh,
because we the public needs this. We we need this uh,
we need this avenue. Uh. This is a great time
for people to get uh, to become informed and to

(29:57):
get the message out. And we just got to keep striving,
keep working on it. If we continue to talk about
this attendance, we might see a change. We might see
a change.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Well, we gonna do it till we blue in the face.
Just keep keep on talking about it. But some might
get it, some might not get it, some might get
tired of hear it. But as long as this is
out there and and and and it's affecting, then we're
gonna have to keep talking about it. Coach as always, sir,

(30:27):
it is a pleasure and honor and a joy to
have you on board with us here. He is the
gurgle coach Van Peedaway, the old stubborn gurgle. He don't
want to pick fam you y'all, but that's okay. We're
gonna We're gonna make it up somehow. I'm the radio guy,
doctor Mike Princefurdmiini that you can follow me on Twitter

(30:50):
channel at the open Mic Broadcast Network, don't forget our
twenty four hour stream at obnradio dot com and our
twenty four hour message text line at nine three six
four six three two four zero five. With that day said,
it is time. Now I must exit stage left.
