It's the radio guy, doctor Mike Prince. Welcome to another
production here at the open Mic Broadcast Network, where it
is our mission to try to bring you some news
you could use. Today is no exception to the rule.

With all that then established us jump right in two
today's episode. Well, the Swack Soccer tournament took place starting
on Thursday, hosted on the campus of Prairie View A

and M University. Quarterfinals went in and out. Jackson State
victorious over Alabama State out of score for zero. Alabama
State was eliminated. Next match saw the Panthers fall short
to Alabama A and M one zero, so the Panthers

(01:12):
were also eliminated. All Corns victorious over the Texas Southern
Tigers by the score of two to one and the
Grambling State Tigers victorious over the Southern Jaggs by the
final score of one to zero. Now for the semi finals,
which will be on November seventh, Friday, Beginning at three pm,

Jackson States and Alabama A and M are scheduled to
lock up, and the nightcap at six pm will feature
Grambling versus All Corn So by Sunday we'll have a
new swack soccer champion to represent the conference in the

NCAA Soccer Tournament. Meanwhile, on the grid iron, got a
lot of good matchups coming on this weekend. We'll first
start off with Texas Southern traveling to Montgomery to take
on the Alabama State Hornets. Now, the significance of this

(02:26):
game is that the Hornets will need to continue to
win and Texas Southern will try to gain ground if
they could on the Panthers, who they happen to be
one game behind in the Western Division of the Southwestern
Athletic Conference. Jackson State will pair up with Mississippi Valley

(02:48):
two pm in It'll being a Mississippi and you'll have
the Bethoone Cookman Wildcats. We'll square up with the ground
State Tigers two pm in Ruston, Louisiana, and of course
on the West you'll have the Purview A and M

(03:09):
University Panthers with their traveling shoes on in Huntsville, Alabama
taking on the Alabama A and M Bulldogs. Now we
will have that game on the Open Mic Broadcast Network
that you can listen to live. All you have to

to get the simulcast of the Purview Panthers and the
Alabama A and M Bulldogs, a rematch, if you would,
of the two thousand and nine TWAG Championship game from Huntsville, Alabama.

So it's a lot on the line and hopefully everybody
got the bitter taste out of their mouth from last
week with not only the game debacle, but the attendance
debacle and everything that went forth, and hopefully all that
is behind and the Panthers cam and will deliver this weekend.

I got a lot on the line with coach pedawag
bragging rights, so come on. PVU. Also will remind you
about some programming notes for Baseball Talk were coach Doolan.
Daniel Dolan, the Panthers baseball coach meeting with us on
