And a lot of people are not realizing couse they
think it's an automatic slam dump. Prairie View still has
a remote chance of hosting the championship game, but we'll
talk about that a little bit later on. It's time

the further final pick of the week, where we got

a couple of games on the twenty ninth, but the
chunk of the boat of these games about to be
wrapped up this week, and so.

I don't think I have too much of a chance

has had its ups and downs for a lot of
these teams, but the teams that Jackson State on the

have stood up and stood out and you've shown your
dominance throughout the year. So through to both institutions.

Week was a great week for November the fifteenth, and
we're gonna start off down and by turning Ruge where
they played the host of Texas Southern. Texas Southern won
that game thirty five to thirty. Texas Southern will get
an A and I'm gonna be light on Southern this week.
I'll give them a C minus. But it's been a

while since Southern has not been able to win a
home game.

Well, it has been a while, and I was a
little generous because I gave him a B minus because
they almost pulled that thing out. They had a couple
of implosions, but they showed up. The fans were still
showing up in Baton Rouge, and that's.

I gave Texas Southern and a minus were winning on
the road because they didn't win when I expect them
to win. Then when I pick against some of them
jokers left me out on the line to get wet

Right right, Then we'll go down to the reservation where
all corn State played host to Grambling. Allcorne State won
that game twenty seven and sixteen. I want to give

Grambling they'll have to get a C from.

Valley teed it up. I think they played their game
down in Mobile. Alabama State showed their dominance and won
that game forty one to three. Bama stated, getting a
and I can never fail Mississippi Valley. They'll get a CE.

And speaking of Jackson, they played host to Badom Cookman.
Uh huh. It was a game that kept a lot
of interest because I was sitting in one game and
watching their game at the same time. Uh huh. Now,
Badoon Cookman was was in there for a while, but
Jackson State pulled away and won that game twenty eight

to thirteen. Yes, I'm gonna give Jackson State an ad,
but I'll tell you this, because of the way the
game was played, I'm gonna give badoona bee.

though they were playing shorthanded, I was like, man, these
jokers are playing with some intention and they got everything
going and Jackson, what can we say, Jackson is Jackson.
I gave them a for just taking care of this man.

if Prairie View could beat Valley by twenty three points

and all Corn beats Jackson, prayer View could host a
championship game. Then I thought about it. Wait a minute, Wait,
a minute, Wait a minute. The reality is that Jackson
can beat all Corn, and if that is the case,

All Corn lost the Pray Review thirteen to twelve. Depending
on how much Jackson beats All Coined by then Prairie
View is gonna have to really blow the top of
the gaskets against Mississippi Valley. So either way it goes,

we gotta put a whoop in a thorough convincing whooping
on Valley this weekend. I said twenty three. But I'm
more comfortable coach in reality, and they might sound crazy.
They're gonna have to be Valley by thirty plus in
order to have a chance, because I do see the
All Coin game and the Jackson State game being very,
very competitive and down to the wire.

Oh okay, why I should it thought that they would
go with the team that was with the best record,
But in this case, that would be your paths, I
do believe. And then I thought attendants was a part
of it.

head the head since they didn't play each other h
at the head, right, then they go to common opponents. Now,
if you base this strictly on the surface, against Alabama State,
then hands down it would be Jackson State representing and

being at home. Now, if you look at the common opponents,
you got Alahada, you got Alabama State, you got Alabama
A and M. You've got Mississippi Valley, and you've got
all Coin. Now, Prairie View, as we mentioned, beat Mississippi
I mean be all coin thirteen to twelve.

Jackson closes against all Coin.

All Coin, I mean Jackson beat Mississippi Valley forty two
to three. Okay, And so when you count up all
the points between those common opponents, that's how I got
that they need to be Valley by twenty three. But
I had not tacked it in that they had yet
to play all Coin. So I have to come with
a correction on that. And that's why I say they

got to be valid about thirty plus. And if that's
not motivation being at home on senior day to rip
that thing open, then go, I don't care who show
up and who don't show up. Let the panthers show
up and take care of business right.

you this from what I've seen this year. I don't
care where the game is being played. Your your Pathers
have proven they can play on the.

reality of things, Duly got to the championship game. Bubba

the Mississippi Valley, you know. And I already told my

On the basketball side, for men and women, we've had

beat lyndon the wood. So that's OVC in the Big South.
Of course, Gramling had the the win over Southern Mississippi.
It comes to basketball, uh, we we better keep it
our on Grambling now because right now three and one

and they're looking real good. They've they've played some great
basketballs thus far.

On the women's side, my bulldogs fell last night to
University of Alabama. They were on the road at Alabama
and Alabama spank Milady's real good last night. But I'm
still proud of them. Alabama won the game sixty sixty

and it's going to be some exciting basketball to be played.

because I say pine Bluff is maybe a step ahead
of Valley. So that's why I would say Delaware, uh,

there in Dover. Uh yeah, Dover, Delaware seventy capacity stadium

to me, which is an ideal size. But they them
hornets men have been taking care of business and looking
forward to see the outcome of that one. But whomever
it is coming from the swag gonna have to really
really uh take care of business. And you know who's
turning over right now? Coach the executives from ESPN, because

if Delaware State represents and let's just say, let's just
say that my beloved Panthers end up representing the Celebration Bowl,
that's gonna be a logistics nightmare. Yeah, that's gonna be
a little logistics nightmare. And you know what, I don't care.

Started talking about small markets. That's just like Delaware State
played Howard this past week. Yes, they pay twenty seven
hundred people showed up for that game.

a remote chance of hosting the championship game, but we'll

Week was a great week for November the fifteenth, and
we're gonna start off down and by turning Ruge where
they played the host of Texas Southern. Texas Southern won
that game thirty five to thirty. Texas Southern will get
an A and I'm gonna be light on Southern this week.
I'll give them a C minus. But it's been a

while since Southern has not been able to win a
home game.

Well, it has been a while, and I was a
little generous because I gave him a B minus because
they almost pulled that thing out. They had a couple
of implosions, but they showed up. The fans were still
showing up in Baton Rouge, and that's.

I gave Texas Southern and a minus were winning on
the road because they didn't win when I expect them
to win. Then when I pick against some of them
jokers left me out on the line to get wet

Right right, Then we'll go down to the reservation where
all corn State played host to Grambling. Allcorne State won
that game twenty seven and sixteen. I want to give

Grambling they'll have to get a C from.

I'm giving them another A for this week if they

Valley teed it up. I think they played their game
down in Mobile. Alabama State showed their dominance and won
that game forty one to three. Bama stated, getting a
and I can never fail Mississippi Valley. They'll get a CE.

And speaking of Jackson, they played host to Badom Cookman.

of interest because I was sitting in one game and

Jackson State pulled away and won that game twenty eight

to thirteen. Yes, I'm gonna give Jackson State an ad,
but I'll tell you this, because of the way the
game was played, I'm gonna give badoona bee.

though they were playing shorthanded, I was like, man, these
jokers are playing with some intention and they got everything
going and Jackson, what can we say, Jackson is Jackson.
I gave them a for just taking care of this man.
They're rolling right along. But I need them to play

host to Florida and them. Florida and them came in

could happen now this week. I was a bit premature
to a degree, and I was looking, you know what
if Prairie View could beat Valley by twenty three points

and all Corn beats Jackson, prayer View could host a
championship game. Then I thought about it. Wait a minute, Wait,
a minute, Wait a minute. The reality is that Jackson
can beat all Corn, and if that is the case,

All Corn lost the Pray Review thirteen to twelve. Depending
on how much Jackson beats All Coined by then Prairie
View is gonna have to really blow the top of
the gaskets against Mississippi Valley. So either way it goes,
(14:16):
we gotta put a whoop in a thorough convincing whooping
on Valley this weekend. I said twenty three. But I'm
more comfortable coach in reality, and they might sound crazy.
They're gonna have to be Valley by thirty plus in
order to have a chance, because I do see the
All Coin game and the Jackson State game being very,
very competitive and down to the wire.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Oh okay, why I should it thought that they would
go with the team that was with the best record,
But in this case, that would be your paths, I
do believe. And then I thought attendants was a part
of it.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Criteria, No, not attendance. What happened is it would go
head the head since they didn't play each other h
at the head, right, then they go to common opponents. Now,
if you base this strictly on the surface, against Alabama State,
then hands down it would be Jackson State representing and

being at home. Now, if you look at the common opponents,
you got Alahada, you got Alabama State, you got Alabama
A and M. You've got Mississippi Valley, and you've got
all Coin. Now, Prairie View, as we mentioned, beat Mississippi
I mean be all coin thirteen to twelve.

Jackson closes against all Coin.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
All Coin, I mean Jackson beat Mississippi Valley forty two
to three. Okay, And so when you count up all
the points between those common opponents, that's how I got
that they need to be Valley by twenty three. But
I had not tacked it in that they had yet
to play all Coin. So I have to come with
a correction on that. And that's why I say they

got to be valid about thirty plus. And if that's
not motivation being at home on senior day to rip
that thing open, then go, I don't care who show
up and who don't show up. Let the panthers show
up and take care of business right.

Right right, Well, it would be a beautiful day if that,
if that's were to happen, well, let me just tell
you this from what I've seen this year. I don't
care where the game is being played. Your your Pathers
have proven they can play on the.

Of it has not gone unnoticed, absolutely right right. I
think they're a good role team and I just look
forward to the contest. I just think it's gonna be
a great matchup and you get the two best teams.
There are three teams that have shown their dominance in

Prayer View and Alabama State. Yes sir, and I sir,
you're getting the best of the best.

they were somewhat overlooking my old beloved Panthers.

as possible and leave your results on the field. That's
why I was a little hesitant about it. Still, it's

want a coach to come in there, take care of business.

on and do it. And then at the end of
the row and just don't take care of business. But

it's still championship or bus. You can't just make it there.
You gotta win it. Because if we look at the
reality of things, Duly got to the championship game. Bubba
got to the championship game. Now you got to get
us through the door. Like o'bon Phillips say, We're not
gonna knock at the door, We're gonna kick the door in.

I'm basing that on the expectations that coach brought to
the table and my expectations of him carrying it out.

the Mississippi Valley, you know. And I already told my
brother Lee Harr said, Man, I love you, but this

beat lyndon the wood. So that's OVC in the Big South.
Of course, Gramling had the the win over Southern Mississippi.
It comes to basketball, uh, we we better keep it
our on Grambling now because right now three and one

and they're looking real good. They've they've played some great
basketballs thus far.

On the women's side, my bulldogs fell last night to
University of Alabama. They were on the road at Alabama
and Alabama spank Milady's real good last night. But I'm
still proud of them. Alabama won the game sixty sixty

we'll be looking at the hardwood.

and those who are not familiar Delaware State if we
had to compare them to a swack program, I would

because I say pine Bluff is maybe a step ahead
of Valley. So that's why I would say Delaware, uh,

to me, which is an ideal size. But they them
hornets men have been taking care of business and looking
forward to see the outcome of that one. But whomever
it is coming from the swag gonna have to really
really uh take care of business. And you know who's
turning over right now? Coach the executives from ESPN, because

if Delaware State represents and let's just say, let's just
say that my beloved Panthers end up representing the Celebration Bowl,
that's gonna be a logistics nightmare. Yeah, that's gonna be
a little logistics nightmare. And you know what, I don't care.

Started talking about small markets. That's just like Delaware State
played Howard this past week. Yes, they pay twenty seven
hundred people showed up for that game.

and of course South Carolina State has a lot to
