Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good morning and at the hump day to you. You're
listening to the morning experience. I am Marquith Lupton. That
is least winning and that is shizzy. Get busy here,
shiz what's going on with your good brother?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Happy Wednesday, middle of the week. We made it.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Guess what, everybody, we are one day away from some football.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I don't care what team you like. Football starts back
up tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
That your facts. That is right.
Speaker 5 (00:35):
I'm actually but right now I'm distracted. I'm not even
gonna lie that little the US hitting Venezuela.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
That that chip. It got me a little worried. So
I'm looking at it, Dan, Yeah, I'm looking at football,
but I'm watching.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
We we are going to unpack that as the details
come out, but first we're gonna give you these headlines.
Speaker 6 (00:57):
It's microwave News, hot and ready.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Our first story comes from the Grillo and Trump's use
of the National Guard during Los Angeles immigration protests is illegal.
Federal judge ruled the Trump administration broke the law by
using National Guard troops for immigration enforcement and protests in
Los Angeles.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Ships order is wet, get cold in the winter and
everything like that. We knew this already, not just that
he deployed them, how we deployed them, and everything like that.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
We do this already.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
Yeah, And this was a very interesting ruling because it
wasn't like a flat out no, he can't do this.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
So in Congress decides that they want to go.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
In and they want to create a law that allows
him to be able to violate It's basically passe Cooma
Tatus Act is what this violates.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
He won't be able to do it, and there's nothing
we can do about it. So I'm afraid.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, yeah, paying close attention to that, folks. Our next
story comes from the Grillo as well, and stretch across
gods that kill at least thirty one as international scholars
accused Israel of genocide, Israel intensifies it's Gaza City offensive
as hospitals report dozens more deaths, while top genocide scholars
join civil rights groups in accusing the country of committing genocide.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Lease.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Absolutely, that's exactly what's happening.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
It's one thing to keep saying that I'm defending my
country after October the seventh, but to continuously carry out
these levels of assault against children and to block aid
and people are starving, we have gone into a different
realm and the US needs to also be accountable for
some of these actions that Israel has taken.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Yeah, well said it's definitely a genocide. Where at the
point where they said of those thirty one people, most
were women and children, this is just a strategic plot
to take out a race of people.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Our last story comes from the Atlanta Black Star and
a blame TikToker gets the ultimate revenge on racists who
called him and were repeatedly during a live streaming. In
this video posted on Sunday that has since racked up
more than eleven million views and three million likes. This
TikToker addressed the troll directly saying you're going to get
(03:17):
kicked out of the navy, and folks, I implore you
to go see this video because he lays it outes.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I absolutely love it. Getting high behind that keyboard anymore.
What they say, what happens when the rabbit has a gun.
So I absolutely love to see it. It was a
good thing. And like you said, go watch that. That
was definitely a laugh you'll need.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yeah, I love the video.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
It came across my timeline. I didn't know exactly what
it was. But I will say this. First of all,
the guy's in Taxis. Secondly, he's in Pete Hegseth's military,
the one with the potential white nationalist tattoo. We really
think something about to happen. He about to get a
medal of honor. What are we talking about?
Speaker 6 (04:02):
Lease, sprinkle some spice.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Sprinkle some spice already on this Wednesday, I love it,
ladies and gentlemen. Folks, we have a jam packed show
for you today. Enjoy this music and of course stay
with us. This is the Morning Experience on LIT one.
Thank you for joining us on the Morning Experience again.
I am Marquise Luckton. That is Lease Winnie, and that
(04:26):
is Shizzy. Get busy, Chiz. If the folks happen to
miss this show or want to do a deep dive
in the archives, in the records, where can they go?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Make sure you check us out on Spotify, Apple Music,
and iHeartRadio. We are there the Morning Experience. Please look
us up, like comment and enjoy.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
And our first story for our main story on Wednesday
comes from the Atlanta Black Star and California Governor Gavin
Newsom is sounding the alarm over press. Donald Trump's possible
intention to run for a third term in office in
violation of the twenty second Amendment and urge Americans to
wake up and think. And he says that I don't
(05:10):
think Donald Trump wants another election. And this is what
Governor Newsom said at Politico's the California Agenda Summit in Sacramento.
And he says that I have two dozen Trump twenty
twenty eight hats, and he says that folks are sending him.
And he also points out that the Trump administration, Donald
(05:31):
Trump specifically, is spending two hundred million dollars on a ballroom,
and he says that who plans on spending that kind
of money and don't plan on leaving?
Speaker 6 (05:42):
Lease?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
What do you think is going on? I know you're
gonna speak with some spice, so let me get ready.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I don't know if I have a lot of spice here.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
But I think that people should be concerned about this
because there's a lot of things that he could potentially
try to do, and we are we have not stopped
Trump yet, Like Trump has been able to continuously move
his agenda forward and there hasn't been a lot of pushback.
We already see with the Supreme Court. What they're doing
(06:11):
over the years, they've eroded the trust in the Supreme
Court if they're the highest court in the land. And
he decides that he wants to become the third president
and say, hey, it's a non consecutive term, so I
can run for the third time.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Are they really going to stop him?
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Oh, you said you weren't going to have no spice.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yes, things don't come with the spice, And I gotta
follow up behind it. I'm like, yeah, absolutely, what she said, Governor,
do some is saying everything that we've been saying since
the inception of this show.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
It's just like we have we we have to do something.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
We're just sitting here and and for for the governor
to say, uh, we have to do something. Yet y'all
have to do something too, Like we need we need
y'all to work too, We need y'all to do have
some action.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
This is getting out of hand.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
And it's just like we already know when we said before,
just everything just seems to be a setup for something
to come in the future.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
And it's just out in the opening obvious.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
And Yo, I don't know if I'm in the minority
of folks here but like, this is like one of
the first times ever in my adult life that I
feel like there's nothing that I can do.
Speaker 6 (07:22):
Like, like Governor Newsom, you're saying, oh, folks need to
wake up. We've been awake. We've been talking about this
since June.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Bruh, and I feel like I there's nothing that I
can do here but just watch the train unless y'all
powers that be quote unquote can do something.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, And that's the thing I think a lot of
people are afraid of because it feels like nothing can
be done. However, we have a midterm coming up. Yeah,
and right now, the Congress that is currently seated is
giving away their power because one of the reasons why
in California, because Gavin Newsom sued Trump and that's where
that lawsuit came from. One of the reasons why we
(08:02):
even had that lawsuit is because Gavin new SMSI stood
up to Trump. However, if they decide to make that
rule tomorrow that he can use the troops in California,
they can. So that's why I'm telling y'all, like, the
midterms matter. If we can get them out of there,
they we will give the power back to Congress because
(08:25):
that's what Congress was there to do. And because those
people that are sitting there are just giving away their power,
which is I'm like, I've never seen such I don't
know if I can say this couck like behavior.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
In my life. Yeah, can I say that?
Speaker 6 (08:41):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (08:46):
And we all agree with yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
double down, high five fistball boom. For people to be
so gungo about America and just have such disregard for
the actual constitution that you know, they used to be
high hold us back. Now it is just it's effort.
Now it's not going to hold them back. So this
is wild.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
And then rock the flags that America has, you know,
destroyed the Confederates, you know, the Patriots destroyed them, the Nazis,
you know, the Patriots destroyed them, but you still got these,
you know, quote unquote Americans rocking.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
The flags of these losers. We'll get into.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
More on the other side of this music break, enjoy this,
let your mind be free, and then come back and
get some spice from Lease.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
This is the Morning Experience, all LiTi. This is the
Morning Experience, and thank you for joining us.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
We are talking about our main story here from the
Atlanta Black Star and California Governor Gavin Newsoen is sounding
the alarm over the possibility that we will see a
third term of Trump now SiZ He says, this is serious, guys.
This guy doesn't believe in free and fair elections. He
(10:02):
tried to wreck this country. He tried the light democracy
on fire. Now he's doing it in plain sight.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
At ag DOT because because now you want to be
down with you. We've been saying this.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
We everybody has saw this from the election before the
election and everything. We've seen this already and we know
this already. We again need the Democrats in office to
actually turn Republican for a second, and you know what
I mean, and fight back and do stuff out of
the ordinary because that same script that we're following it's
(10:37):
not working. And then we're just sitting back letting them
do this. And now it's like, hey man, y'all got
to wake up. No, y'all got to wake.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
Up, absolutely, And I don't know if they are awake yet,
because if you already know that this stuff is a
potential danger, especially with the Democrats, what are y'all doing?
Like it seems like the Democrats have not figured out
how to be proactive.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
They're very reactive to everything.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
It's like, we won't do anything until Trump does something,
and then we'll try to fix it. But right now,
like there's a couple of loopholes that he could do,
but they're all very illegal. So he could try to
run as vice president and then somehow jd. Vance stepped
down or whoever he runs with, steps down, and he
(11:23):
can become president. He could try to overturn the twenty
second Amendment, or he could just ignore the Constitution what
she's already doing. So there's a lot of things that
we should be really concerned about now. If he overturns
the twenty second Amendment, it would take what two thirds
of Congress and the states in order to do that,
which would be impossible. I'm gonna say it's an impossible road. No,
(11:49):
I'm not gonna say it's impossible. I'm not gonna say
it's not probable, but I'm not gonna say impossible. Not
in Trump's America.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Yeah, And I'm looking at what you say when you
said ignoring the Constitution, and when I look at the
troops that are in d C right now on the forefront,
it's because oh, to fight crime against you know, d C.
(12:17):
And I think that's all cap. I think that is
all cap. I think that this is to to regularize
I know that's not a word, but still you get
what I'm saying, America, to normalize.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
These troops being in d C.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Because once it's normalized that these troops are in d C,
when it comes around for this election, these same troops
that have been getting orders for the last three years,
you're we able to siphon out those that aren't loyal
to the brand and bring in those that are more
loyal to the brand. And then you build this barricade
(12:59):
and if, if, and when he gets voted out, because
constitutionally he should be done when that moment comes. Now
he has soldiers armed and ready and know every square
ince of Washington, DC to defend him remaining in power.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
That's what I think.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Is going on.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Can I say something though, and I don't know if
we will get another term. I think Trump's human and
I think that we are starting to see that he
disappeared for what five days. Honestly, I think we're talking
about Trump running for a third term when we're not
talking about JD Vance at all. The fear that I
have about JD. Vance versus Trump is that Trump is mumbling, bumbling, fumbling,
(13:44):
for the lack of a better word, I'm not even
I'm not even gonna say what he is, but he
is that JD. Vance is taking marching orders from some
very rich and powerful men and he has not yet
to fulfill on those promises. He's going to do exactly
what he set out to do. It actually scares me more.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Yeah, and just a society where we want everything now
we're a microwave society, but we're suffering, and we're talking
about a twenty twenty eight. We're talking about an election
in the future and not focusing on the problem now.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
It is bad and this.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Quote like mentality is definitely has us in the wrong
direction and with no sight, no good in.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
Folks. We are going to get into more of this.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
At the other side on excuse me, on the other
side of this music.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Stay with us.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
This is the Morning Experience on LIT one O six.
This is the Morning Experience.
Speaker 6 (14:47):
Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
We are talking about this Gavin Newsome, Donald Trump a
story where he is just raising this red alarm. Now, Lise,
I would think that there would be more folks, you know,
sounding the alarm right now instead of just Newsome, because
Newsom really seems like he's by himself.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, and Newsom is getting he's gearing up. He's gearing
up to run in twenty twenty eight. No matter what
he says, Newsom is running. He is way too far
out there in the public's eye for him to not
make a run for twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Who else runs, I don't know yet. It's a little
early for that.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
However, I think again, if I'm just keep going back,
let's see if we even get through half the term. Honestly,
he walking a little slow up his makeup looking like
it's a little pushback a little further. The other day
he forgot to put his wig on. I think that
(15:49):
we are slowly, but surely I don't know. Let's see,
he lives on cheeseburgers.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
As a cheese ba her head. But you can you
can absolutely see the decline and in just his his
his his physical is that's not the same confident person.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
That's not the same person that.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Had all that bravado and that that that just that's
that's certain, that swag that they liked and everything like that.
That's not the same person that's out there. And and
like you said earlier, jd Vance is the one we
have to worry about. And and we definitely know that
he's the one to worry about because when he ran
against Trump before, when they were first going at it,
everything he was saying about Trump, so you know he
(16:34):
has some even far left ideas coming up.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Just real quick. He didn't run against him.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
I mean, were they in the uh.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
No, he was a never Trump guy.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
So when he wrote a book called He'll Billy, He'll
Billy elogy, and he was a never Trump guy when
he came out like he just did not like Trump,
but he never actually ran against him.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Well I stand corrected, but he's still.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
This is the morning Experience, folks, Like I like to say,
this is one of the smartest, smartest things that you
will listen to and have in your cup in the
morning time, giving you.
Speaker 6 (17:17):
The information, giving you the education that you need.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
So listen to this so that you can brag to
your friends later on today and tell them you know
how woke you are. Should you use the word woke,
Yes you should. Folks, Thank you for joining us. This
is the Morning experience again. I am Marquis Lopton. That
is Shuesy, get busy, and that is Lease Winnie bringing
(17:43):
us the spice on this Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
I hope that you.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Are picking up what is being put down on this show.
So I'm gonna ask this, is there any out to this?
Because you see people get up, like even Corey Booker.
You know, Corey Booker just announced his beard. Excuse me,
Corey Booker just announces his engagement today, so you know that.
(18:13):
You know he he's about the run for president.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
She is everybody's reacting too late. This is this is good.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Typical is just everybody's just like old, let's do something.
Everything is going wrong and this is where we're at.
But I'm gonna get done talking. I'm gonna pass it
over to the least because Lease is doing her things.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
So I think you're gonna see it was gonna be
like it was in twenty sixteen and in twenty twenty
where you have fifty billion people trying to run for
president and it's going to hurt a lot of people.
If who's gonna run on the Republican side, I don't
(18:57):
know if anybody will have the kohonas to run against
if Trump is still with us and amongst the living,
I don't know. He had to show proof of life
over the weekend, so we don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
M hm.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
So they may weekend at Bernie's it.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
I don't know, however, And I don't think anybody who
successfully hit a president since like Nancy Breagan or whatever.
But anyway, whatever, I advise everybody go look up JD.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Vans.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
You would not be as pushing Trump in the grave
you knew more about JD.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Vance.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
He's absolutely absolutely because a.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Spineless, a spineless white man, uh that is that is
one of the most dangerous white men out there. And
and what I'm fearing from from the Democrat side is
that they are going to go for comfortable. That's what
we saw when when Biden was elected, it was it
(19:57):
was go for comfortable.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
You know, we know, we know a white man. That's
what we know.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
And I fear that people are going to be like,
let's go for comfortable, and go for comfortable may not
even be the vibe anymore, but this is a conversation
that we are going to keep on having. Folks, you
know that your morning team is going to bring you
(20:24):
the information that you need bring you the information that
you wanted and bring you the information that you did
not know existed. This is the Morning Experience on a Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
Stay with us on LIT one six. This is the
Morning Experience. Folks.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Thank you for joining us on this new hour. We
have doctor Kimika Campbell joining us for this hour, and Doc,
something happened in Harrisburg. Can you explain the details because
like the new stations, like they told the story, but
(21:02):
it didn't feel complete.
Speaker 7 (21:04):
And it didn't feel urgent and feel like it was
the tragedy that it really was. So basically, we had
someone run through the crowd the last hour of our
three day Copona Festival, which is a river festival celebrating
some beautification projects that were completed in the city on
the river over one hundred years ago. This person ran
(21:28):
through barricades, went around parked cars that were also there
to secure the festival, and went up into the sidewalk
and mowed down three people, including a child who is
still in very serious condition in the hospital with broken
bones and disrupted organs, including a city worker who was
(21:50):
trying to stop this trategy from happening was also harmed,
and a.
Speaker 8 (21:55):
Woman in a wheelchair.
Speaker 7 (21:56):
So it was quite a travesty, and I think folks
are very much in shock. It happened in front of
a bunch of vendors and a bunch of festivalgoers, and
it was it was. It's been reverberating through the city.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
And one of the things that I've really been seeing
on social media is that she was apprehended pretty peacefully.
Speaker 7 (22:22):
She was She was apprehended pretty peacefully. Her car stopped
a few blocks down. She did try to get away,
but the car stopped a few blocks down and they
there was there was nowhere to run at that point,
and so they were able to apprehend her.
Speaker 8 (22:38):
But yeah, it has been quite the last.
Speaker 7 (22:43):
Twenty six or so hours for the city, on top
of all the other things that have been happening.
Speaker 8 (22:48):
But yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Then so then you said twenty six hours, So then
this this happened yesterday, six.
Speaker 7 (22:57):
Pm, six pm yesterday, Yep, we're going into twenty hour
twenty seven.
Speaker 8 (23:02):
But yep, right before the end of the festival.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Now I'm asking that because most most news stations traditionally
would have that as the top story, you know, the
next morning, and when I looked, it was story number four.
Speaker 7 (23:22):
Didn't even make national news coverage until this morning, Like,
it wasn't even reported out until this afternoon. Excuse me,
almost a full twenty four hours later, and Harrisburg.
Speaker 8 (23:32):
Makes national news quicker for so many other things.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Yeah, yeah, you could.
Speaker 8 (23:37):
You didn't, You didn't see.
Speaker 7 (23:38):
The only way we saw what this person potentially looked
like and what affinity groups they belonged to was because
of bystander and community video and pictures. It took. It
took quite some time for the monk shot to be released,
(23:59):
when we know, and we've experienced that other type of
musks with other folks from other groups gets released almost
within the hour.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Yes, did they say what she was charged with?
Speaker 5 (24:10):
Because I know they're holding on like a three hundred
and fifty thousand dollars bond.
Speaker 7 (24:13):
They did hold on her through fifty three hundred three
thousand dollars bond. But I don't see anywhere where they've
announced any charges yet, which is crazy because again, when
these types of things happen, attempted murder charges are at
the very least thrown out quite immediately. So I've been
following it as best as I could, just to kind
(24:33):
of see, you know, what's going to happen, which is
where I usually sit with these things, like these terrible
tragedies happen, and then what is their response and how
does the community deal? And I just find it curious.
What's how this is being responded to?
Speaker 6 (24:50):
Complexion for protection? You know this? This is what they mean, folks.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
We'll we'll discuss more about this on the back end.
But coming up next, we have our top ten. This
is what you call a seguey.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
We have our top.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Ten with Shizzy, Get busy, enjoy this music, and we
got the laughs on the other side of this break.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
This is the Morning Experience on LIT one O six.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Good morning, Happy Wednesday, and welcome back to the Morning Experience.
It is time for another top ten. This is our
thirteenth top ten. Wow, we got the thirteen already, thirteen
wednesdays that I've been here with you. This top ten
is we had a conversation off air with my co
host and we were talking about some of our past
and I was a failed rapper, but I may not
(25:39):
have made it, but I can always appreciate good wordplay
and good punchlines and everything like that. I'm from Philadelphia.
We have the Cassidys, the Gillies, the Beanies, the Southwest
Own reed dollars. We have all that, but sometimes in
hip hop there are some lines that are absolutely questionable
and lines that shit have never been wrote. So these
(26:00):
are the top ten worst bars in hip hop. And
number ten we're going to start with the oldie but
Goody from my time the band. This is Fred from
the band who said I'm a star. Look in the sky.
You need a microscope. Now, as a C student, I
know that you don't need a microscope to look into
(26:21):
the sky.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
So Fred is definitely gonna take this l.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Uh Fred, Fred can take all the l's Fred. Fred
was not lyrical at all. He might have been the
fifth best person in the band.
Speaker 8 (26:34):
And I made fits. I had a shirt I made.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Unless he got a sample of the sky. But number
nine we're going to keep it in a bad boy
family Diddy. He said you were more than my girl.
We were like brothers. Every night pillow fight undercovers and
we wonder why these allegations. We don't have to wonder anymore.
He was telling us for such a long time, that's
what I said.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
That was, but it was a oh, I.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Will say this that is That is one of my
favorite songs. But but but I never I never repeated
those lyrics because it just always like we would play
fight under You know what, I got a brother, you
know what, we never did play fight on the covers and.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Parents come, what are you all doing that? Right?
Speaker 7 (27:39):
Like, no, I to have brothers play under cover, throw
you off the top of the bed bunk.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
He was wild for such a at number eight. And
my good brother, this goes back to our college days.
He used to point this out every time this song
came on Joe Rule. He says, I am in the
two one three zone. That is six players on the court.
It's only five players allowed on the court. That does
not add.
Speaker 8 (28:07):
Up carry thee.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Yeah, as a basketball nerd, As a basketball nerd, that
always upset me.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
I'm in the two one three zone first of all
six players on the court.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Like, no, no, you gotta know, I feel is angels
in the paint.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
That's all he got, the sixth man, He got the
dem hardest out.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
I was so upset because the song is hot, the song,
the song is hot.
Speaker 6 (28:36):
But oh man, yeah it.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Is number seven.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
We have one of our with the Podfather Joe Budden
When he was when he was very lyrical, but Joe
Budden said, your flowest orange juice minds is sunny D. Now,
where is that a flex at that is should have
been switched around. I don't know if they didn't go
back and do the edits right and somebody didn't tell him,
but sunny D is.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
The inauthentic version of.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
I feel like I feel like he was trying to
explain like the Dame.
Speaker 8 (29:09):
Shapultrow, like he was trying to rip off that a
little bit. That's pre your post this time.
Speaker 7 (29:15):
But he's trying to be like sunny deep commercial type thing,
and it just never made sense, never made sense.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
I never heard the lyric. And I'm glad.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
There's anything before we get to this tap of that
we are.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
We are at the number six, halfway through the list,
number six. This is just cringey just thinking about it.
Macmain in about three years, holler at me, Miley Cyrus.
This is absolutely this disgusting. Just sitting back. It wasn't
even that long ago. This is nasty word it is.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
We shouldn't have let that slide was.
Speaker 6 (29:56):
Yeah, the engineer should have been like bruh, this ain't the.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
One say something else.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
And and and like he wasn't even rying with anything.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
He was just riffing, like, yeah, it.
Speaker 8 (30:12):
Bad, because that's that's top of mind for you.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
That's what that's what he was on. That's what he
was on.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
But ladies, gentlemen, that was our first five of our
top ten. We will be back after these messages and
after these tunes. You're listening to the Morning Experience on
LIT one O six. Welcome back to the Morning Experience
on LIT one O six. We are in the middle
of our top ten. This week's top ten are some
of the worst bars ever ever, ever in hip hop.
(30:40):
And I got the ladies here with me, and we
are going to get right to number five. Missy Elliott,
she said, I Feel the Wind five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
If you didn't have anything to say, you could have
just left that alone. That you couldn't think.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
The rain.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Against my window.
Speaker 6 (31:05):
It's an awesome, awesome song.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
But what was she talking about.
Speaker 7 (31:09):
So she could do that though? Because she doesn't have
any other bad bars period.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
That I give her that I love some, I love some, Missy.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
Number four is a age old question that we just
never figured out. Cameron, I get computers puting, what the
hell is puting. How do you how do you perform
that task to get the computer to do that?
Speaker 8 (31:34):
You gotta put because the computer's got a pute that's
in the middle of compute. So carry the one on
that one too. I guess I'm not really sure.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
That sounds like the computer has gas.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
The computer is.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
Sometime it be like that.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
Number three. Now, this is this is a song we
all love, but I gotta give it to the whole
entire song. T paint a little Wayne. I can't believe it.
And we're not just gonna talk about Wis Canton because
that is actually but Wis Canton. We are going to
talk about Wayne's whole verse where he just mumbled through
(32:18):
the whole entire thing and we let that man get
away with that.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
To be fair, that was the hottest bar in the song.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Okay, but what's Thattman talking about.
Speaker 7 (32:33):
All you gotta do is quote or letter Brown here.
Speaker 8 (32:35):
That's all I have to say.
Speaker 7 (32:36):
I'm just gonna say or letter his name, and that's
what we're gonna land on because.
Speaker 8 (32:39):
He already did it for us.
Speaker 7 (32:40):
He already showed us why it's a problem.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
He did.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
It's an awesome song, but I have no idea what
that was about. Number two, This is a just on
the levelless of corny. This is beyond this, broke the scales,
little flip and I'll door you. I'll treat you like
milk and do nothing but spoil you. This is the
most corneous, clever, clever milk doesn't just spoil it does
(33:12):
a body good.
Speaker 7 (33:15):
Nothing but spoil you. Because that's okay. But with spoiled
milk you do get cottage cheese, is that right?
Speaker 2 (33:23):
You do?
Speaker 1 (33:23):
You?
Speaker 8 (33:24):
Okay? You get some other stuff I don't know, yogurt, yoga.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
See how we gotta we got save this man with you?
Get right? Right? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (33:39):
You know it keeps going all all the things.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Yeah, it's just it's just I'm gonna go ahead and
be someone else's sunshine.
Speaker 8 (33:46):
At this point you do already. You also get that
gas we talked about what the pew the.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
PM Yeah, yeah, that you start puting like the computers
that camera get No.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Number one on this list, and this is an absolute classic,
but we plead we have we have to acknowledge that
this was just completely unnecessary.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Number one is mister Cheeks in Renee. He says, Shorty
goes to school to be a lawyer. In other words,
Shorty studies law. Thank you for.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
I had no idea that this woman was studying law
because she went to school to be a lawyer.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
I thought she was trying to be a trash man.
Speaker 7 (34:31):
He just wanted to make sure that in case you
guys didn't know what lawyers went to school to study.
Speaker 8 (34:37):
It is the law, right, So.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Very has problem.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
Shorty has problems if he if she's messing with this guy.
She wants to be a lawyer, and she is messing
with this guy who has to break it down into
simplest terms of what study in law means his listeners.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
I think that that was for the people in the back,
you know what. They really don't listen, so they'd be like, oh,
she going.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
To school to be a lawyer.
Speaker 6 (35:05):
What's going to school for? Like y'all Like like y'all, y'o, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
We all, we all, we all went to school and
we all told a relative, you know, I'm going to
school for this, this and this, and they'd be like, oh, man,
that's good, what's you going to school for?
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Ab wrong, that's true.
Speaker 8 (35:27):
Everybody that I've ever talked about whatever I do?
Speaker 6 (35:30):
You ask me whatever?
Speaker 8 (35:31):
Oh you went to school for the thing? I just said,
what did you do there? Oh? I just said it
the thing.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
I just said, mister Cheeks could have made a version
just for them, so we didn't have to.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
We didn't have to break it down for me.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
I was I was well aware of what what a
lawyer does. But he does go through the song and
says he smokes a lot, at least at every other
word is he's about he's smoking. So he had to
remind himself. But lady gentlemen, that was this week's top ten.
Join us every Wednesday for all new top ten and
if you miss anything, please please check us out on Spotify,
(36:09):
Apple Music, and iHeartRadio. It is the top ten. It
is the Morning Experience. We hear y'all. Happy Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
This is the Morning Experience, and folks, thank you for
joining us.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
Want to reference something that we talked about the last
hour in Microwave News about this streamer really going at
this this racist? Are the tide shifting here, Lise or
is it something like you know you mentioned it being
Pete hegseths military. So is it going to are we
(36:42):
gonna see more of that.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
More of the races getting Oh yes, for surely.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
Like it's being promoted. We see that.
Speaker 5 (36:52):
That's like they've gotten rid of the person that Pete
Hegseth replaced was far more qualified than he ever could
but they got rid of these people just because they
were black or women. Like this is it with this
guy being in the navy, Like I said, They're going
to give him a gold star, his name is gonna
stay on green. He's gonna get a heavy mail, They're
(37:12):
gonna give him a hot pocket. He gonna have everything
you've ever had and more and he dreamed of because
he is fulfilling their fantasy, which is bringing back racism
in the military.
Speaker 7 (37:23):
M okay jay, Now that racism really ever left the military,
it just went underground for a few years, right, Like
the other parts of this, like I'm proud of this
young man for saying for doing this and stepping up
to the plate in an age where no one is
willing to speak this strongly out against this stuff.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Right.
Speaker 7 (37:39):
So, my favorite quote from the video was there's nothing
you get to stop There's nothing you can do to
stop me.
Speaker 8 (37:45):
There's no apology I will accept. I thought that was fabulous.
Speaker 7 (37:50):
I think people the big energy, and I thought what
was important about it was the fact that he is
doing this in direct contrast to people who are always
trying to explain away racism. Literally, the DNC was trying
to explain away you know, racism. Literally, the American government
literally literally just on and on trying to explain away racism.
Speaker 8 (38:10):
And he didn't do that.
Speaker 7 (38:11):
He said, this is unacceptable and there's nothing you can
do to stop me from calling you out.
Speaker 8 (38:15):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
Yeah, folks, we're gonna get Schiz's take after this music.
This is the morning experience on Lit one O six. Chiz,
where do you stand on this, uh young man exposing
uh these online racist.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
I mean I enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
It was it was It gave me not all the feeling,
but some of the feeling of the of the the chairs.
I just brought the folding chair memories back and I
was like, man, this is this is an internet beat
down with with with the folding chairs. But it's like, like,
as Lisa was saying, it's like, is the is the
military going to do anything? Are they Are they going
(38:59):
to actually punish this because this is a practice that
has been held by high ranking military members for such
a long time.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
So is anything going to actually happen?
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Besides do you know the public outcry and that probably
won't go too far.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
And you are bringing up an interesting point like is
anything going to happen? Because I do also want to
point out that he he wasn't only hackling and being
racist to this young man and in his live stream,
he was in other live streams as well and was
being just as racist and just as hateful. So there
(39:37):
there is a sense of being emboldened and doing this
in a public space and not being worried about any
kind of recourse or reprimand least.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
Yeah, and the streamer's name is Tamo, so I want
to I hope you'll say his name right now.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
So I do want to say that because we've just
been saying streamer.
Speaker 6 (39:55):
Yeah, yeah, he had.
Speaker 5 (39:57):
Tamo really did something I think more people should do,
and it's calling people out, and he did in a
way that was clever and it's smart, and I think
that guy probably had some second thoughts about it. But
like I said, we are in Trump's America. TikTok would
have blocked you for saying less but yet he was
able to do that.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
We're in Trump's America.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
And we are I feel like I feel like it's
the where you don't feel like anything is going to happen.
We had this recently happen with uh and I'm not
a huge fan of Jess Hilarius, but she called out
the streamer Neon and she called out everything that he did.
She put him out there and it was like, yeah,
she did it, but the stream still there, money still
coming in. It's like nothing nothing changed about that and
(40:40):
that and that was just out in the open. So's
it kind of makes you lose hope. But I mean,
we always been been fighting from behind, so we gotta
we gotta keep on, keep on.
Speaker 7 (40:50):
Speaking of the word hope, this is a This video
was a part of what they're calling Hope core hashtag
hope core on TikTok, So it is a part of
that hope full idea that you are going to be
able to affect some change by taking these routes versus
depending on traditional you know, methods of retribution and et cetera.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Well, we're definitely gonna have to reimagine how how we
uh attack this thing. We're going to talk about this,
uh more and more and more. I feel like this
is only the tip of the iceberg.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Folks.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
This is the Morning Experience on LIT one O six.
This is the Morning Experience, and thank you for joining
us on this Wednesday least.
Speaker 6 (41:34):
This was a home day for us to remember.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
It sure was.
Speaker 5 (41:39):
And I'm I swear to you I'm stop saying yeah,
because I'll be saying yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
I noticed it all out, just don't be putin.
Speaker 6 (41:51):
Up.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
Next we got the midday show with Autumn Joy Live.
Speaker 6 (41:55):
This is the Morning Experience on LIT one O six.
