Good? You know it's funny becauseI haven't talked to you this weekend
like I normally do. I havebeen up to my eyeballs and stuff,
and it's so good to have thistime to kind of chat with you.
I know, I get caught up. I'm excited. We're gonna have a

fun night tonight. So I knowyou know that I was in Scotland last
well, not this past summer,the summer before, so it would have
been July of twenty twenty two,and it was myself and Andrea Parrin and
Julie, my former co host,and some other friends had all been in
Scotland and we met two friends thereand we got to investigate with us some

pretty cool places. So We're goingto take a little trip down memory lane
tonight and I think you're gonna likethem. We're gonna have a good time.
They brought some evidence, they broughtsome videos and clips, and we
are going to talk about haunted places, which is really what I love to

see you. This is yes,Yeah, because you guys hadn't met before.
Yeah, where were you in frontof Mikey? Is that a real
place or is that Scotland. I'mat Balgoni Castle. That is a Balgoni

castle. So we had an opportunityto go there, which was really great.
Yeah. We actually had the mostamazing investigation there after the tour.
Yeah yeah, wait to hear.I know. We went and we spent
some time and we got a fewlittle things, but I'm sure after the
fact was great. We would haveloved to have been able to spend some

time there with you guys, butlet's got a lot of things with you.
I'm ready to go back. I'mdefinitely ready to go back. I
think there was a lot I wouldhave loved to have done and didn't get
a chance to do. There werethings I was hoping to see and investigate
that we didn't get to see andinvestigate. So I'm ready to get a

trip back there and maybe keep ita little casual this time, you know,
not thirty five or fifty people.Just you know, just keep it.
It does it's harder to get inand out of places and and that
kind of thing. I think it'sgreat when you have this small, little
intimate group, you know, tobe able to go and experience some of
these things. So I really lovesome of these photos you brought, and

we're going to put some of theseup on the screen. But tell me
a little bit about Scotland and whatwas your favorite part of that whole experience
that we shared together. Oh wow, I mean besides meeting us, you
know, I pick just one,right, you can't I for me personally,

I don't, and I don't knowwhy, but I absolutely fell in
love with the town of Kouros.I love that town. I just was.
I was drawn to it, andI mean Chryl and I walked and
explored we found this old cemetery.It's just the whole town for me was
amazing. But I got to tellyou we started out with a bang and
earth and and that's where you know, one of the most one of the

most how do I say this,Scott, It was a moment that we
shared there during your live reading,I would say, for me was a
very I needed that kind of athing. And we can talk about that
if you want to to later orwhatever, but yeah, whatever you like.
Yeah, yeah, mean in termsof the reading itself, is that
and the message it was the messagethere that came through, I mean,

Cheryl, also Kat. There wasa lot of us that got to experience
that, but for me personally,I had never it was it was confirmation
for me. And and so thatwas really uh, you know, being
there with you and that time thatwe spent there together. For me,
that moment was just it was abeautiful thing and I and I'm so thankful
for that and I'm glad that wehad that opportunity to sit and do a

reading and be part of that withyou. So yeah, So Eric Castle
is definitely one of my favorite partsof the whole thing. Also Balgoni Castle,
because we had like such a touchingthing happen during our investigation, which
was gone by the dark zone,so it's there forever for me to go
back and look at But Eric Castle, I mean, between the stuff that

happened in our investigation and your readingagain you, I was not very I
was not super open to thinking somebodywould come through for me. That's why
when you started saying things and theyactually like were meant for me, I
didn't. I didn't get it rightaway. So so that was kind of
that was a new experience that wasn'tvery neat. Did somebody come to see

this is how it is for me? Like and I don't even remember I
do my grandfather I am. Iam like full I'm going crazy goosebumps over
here. So like my grandfather apparentlycame through because you were talking about this
this little man with you know,a cane and a top hat. My
grandfather was a ballroom dancer, andhe was he was of my stature maybe

five eight, little taller. Butbut when you started just starting saying that
stuff, and I was like,ah, it was kind of in the
back of my mind like that thatcould be ja ju. But of course
I'm not. You know, I'mnot thinking. I'm not thinking it was
for me, you know, untilyou you kind of like made it obvious,
like, yeah, that's so cool. I love that. You know.

It was really interesting because I waswatching Andrea talk about her Conjuring House
experience and when she was there,and when she was talking, the woman
that came through for Mikey was rightthere, right at the front, and
and I thought, man, youknow, I don't know who she is,

(06:36):
but I felt like she was prettystrong. She made herself known early.
And which was really funny about thatplace because the energy was really cool
in there. That makes a hugedifference if I'm doing a reading or a
gallery like that in a place thathas a lot of energy that's haunted,
I just feel like the vibrations betterand you get more detail. And I

(06:58):
remember that place. I don't knowwho was sitting in the back of the
room. There was a woman sittingin the back, but on the opposite
side, So if I'm looking atyou, you were on the right.
Whoever it was on the left,there was on the other side. Yeah,
Kat was over on that side.So it was Kat, And there
was a boy and a girl whohad passed in an automobile accent. I

remember this, and I remember thatone of them had passed first and waited
for the other one, and itwas all like In fact, I remember
saying to her, I said,they are right there in that back rope,
that's where they are. And sheraised her hand she said, it's
like that's who it is. They'reright here with me. I mean,
that was really bizarre. And itisn't often that that level of detail will

come through on a on a reading, that I'll know exactly where they're sitting
and and that person for you,Mikey, that was just I mean,
obviously you made you made an impressionclearly. You know, I've been in
readings before and like I'm the techguy. I'm the you know, I
put a camera up and I filmit guy. I don't. I don't.

(08:07):
I haven't explored all of that sideyet. But so and and I
didn't feel like in anybody else oreverybody else that you were talking to that
was specifically for them. For somereason, that woman that you described reminded
me of that patient and I couldnot get her out of my head once

(08:28):
you once you described her Scott likethe hair her she was very passionate about
her right. And they have redhair, you described, she had beautiful
red hair. And now so thatwoman, out of all the patients that
I've come in contact with every dayfor years, this woman would not let
go. It like she was justin my head. That's why towards I
even waited towards the end, likehey, Scott, could this be a

thing? But why why would shebe in Scotland? Or why would you
know what I mean? So Ihad so many questions, but but the
just felt to me like that washer and and and I've always wondered,
I've always wondered if it made adifference if I stayed with people while they
were passing and played music for themor talked to them or held their hand.

I have just you know, inthe back of your mind, you
wonder did it even help, Likewas it effective at all? You know?
So and when you said yes,she just she she you know,
heard you. And the fact thatI was telling her what her family was
asking to say, like the wholething was just mind blowingly like emotional for

me because it really just and itgave me the strength to just keep doing
that, you know, that's thenow that's I mean, that's always been
a thing for me, but nowthat I know or I feel like they
know, then I'm just I'm allin with it. So that was just
such a great experience for me.And it was actually it was green backgroundbreaking
for me too, because that wasthe first time that I actually had some

kind of a contact that was meantfor me in one of these group readings.
I've done group readings before with bigname psychics, and nobody's ever like
reached out to me. So sothat right there opened me up. I
never spent as much time with amedium, you know, thus far as
I did with you. So andnow the like, the more I open

(10:15):
up and the more I pay attention, I'm seeing you know, I'm seeing
the third eye and the process forme, Scott, if I don't if
you don't mind me sharing, II'm very observant. And so I noticed
like there was at one point weeven delayed this reading a little bit because
there was so much coming through.You were overwhelmed. Not well I'm not

I'm not saying you were overwhelmed,but what I'm saying is there was some
point I think that you remember youhad to take a break and step back,
because it was just it was verymuch you were you were affected by
this. So we we actually cameback and did this another time because initially
it was just a lot and Iand to see the process for somebody that

(10:58):
does this and to watch how itaffects you and so that you know,
so when we're in that room andwe're doing this and knowing that you're tuned
in now and whatever's coming is comingand there's no stopping it. I think
the craziest thing for me about thiswhole thing was we were filming it.
Yeah, oh my god, yes, video of it. Yep. We

(11:22):
love that they lost the video.The videos gone, the videos video it
was before. I'm getting goosebumps rightnow. I forget the video right up
to the beginning. It stopped rightwhen I started reading, went right through
the whole gallery and then picked upwhere it ended. The whole thing is

(11:46):
gone. Yeah, the whole thingis gone. But the recorder never stopped
recording. It never stopped recording.Barbara had the recorder and she was going
around and it never stopped. Andit picked up before and after, but
not in the middle. Now,tell me that isn't just bizarre. And
you know what else is strange too. And I remember this now because some
of the details they kind of goafter a while, but I remember with

her one of the when a spiritshows me identifying features, right, whether
it's a shoe or a foot ora hand. You know, if they
show me a hand, I knowthere's something with their hand. I don't
know what, but there's something goingon right that's going to bring about It
was her hair. It wasn't justthat it was red, is that it

(12:28):
was like she had BedHead. It'slike she needed to be brushed. Yeah,
And I felt like that was reallysignificant. And you had said afterwards
that you brushed her hair for her, which I thought was just like,
holy crap. Well, the family, the family wasn't able to come,
and the sister said, she lovesher hair and she's always brushing her hair.

(12:50):
She asked us, would you pleasemake sure that her hair is brushed
and washed and just and you know, just keep it because she loves her
hair. So we did. Wewould when you know, we turn her
and bathe her and clean her,we would brush her hair and you know,
lay it on her chest or whatever. But she had beautiful hair.
And so that was so important tothe family that we just keep that going

(13:13):
and not let her just lie thereand get BedHead or put it up in
a ponytail or whatever. So wedid that, and so that was another
thing for me when you, youknow, when you were describing them,
like, I just kept seeing herand I kept I'm like, can this
be her? Can you know?So I kind of asked you, if
you remember I pulled, I'm like, God, I gotta throw this at
you, and you know, I'ma fool, But you were like,

(13:35):
that's her, that's her. Onceyou made the connection, and they usually
give me this kind of like thing. They give me this feeling that I
don't usually get if I'm not doinga reading. It's not just goosebumps.
It's a different kind of a feeling. And when we make that connection,
I get it and I don't know. I can't explain it. I don't
know. But that place was hopping, and I think the vibration and the

energy in it kind of enhanced everything, really and truly because there's so much
history. It was so old andhad battles and so much, so much
history. Even in that little sessionthere when we did the investigation in there.
If you remember, Andrea was pickingup that young man, the young

(14:16):
boy. She kept getting the numbertwenty three or thirty two, remember,
And then the younger people in thegroup were picking up on stuff like it
was just so charged. Everybody washaving some kind of personal experience there as
well. And so, yeah,it was just one thing after another,
and then we were getting you know, validation with EVPs and equipment going off.

(14:37):
Rick with his K two meter justyou know, five lights blaring.
I mean, it was just amazingproperty. So and I got pushed down.
I mean I didn't actually go down, I got pushed into the room.
I was standing in the hallway.It was right when you walk in
the door. There was this little, like small little lobby and I was
standing on the inside doorway and itjust all of a sudden, I was

like boom, I was right in. That was early on, wasn't that.
Remember If it was before or after, I don't remember. I think
it was before we started filming.I think it was oh, okay,
yeah, come on, I thinkit was set up. It was you
was setting up maybe perhaps, yeah, yeah, I think so. Hey,
Cheryl, Nancy wants to know,have you ever been read by a

(15:18):
psychic before. I have I havefriends who are psychics, but I generally
don't, you know, ask myfriends to do that sort of thing.
But I have had two amazing peopledo terror readings on me. The first
one was this beautiful man named KenBoggle. He just had a TV show
come out, Living for the Dead, and he he nailed me. He

(15:41):
nailed me. He was like,you know, do you have any idea
you're an EmPATH and he just wenton, you know, telling me how
to how to get rid of thebad energy that I'm hanging on too,
and all this wonderful stuff. Butand the second gal was in Tombstone.
But I am always I was alwaysbeen to hearing things. But again,

if my friends are psychic, I'mnot one to be like, hey,
what do you know about me?Like what's going to happen? And you
know what too? It doesn't reallywork that way, at least for me.
If I know you and I knowthings about you, I can't I
can't bring it through, Like ifwe did another reading together, but we're
all together again. Going back toearth Castle, I would question whether that

person coming through was really the personthat was there before, because I know
about her and I would remember her. It's hard to It's almost like I
need to know nothing, you know. And I wanted to be very picky.
I don't, you know, Idon't just go out going to every
you know, tearror card reader orevery psychic and asking them for questions.
I was. I was very choosy. I was forty years old before I

got my first tarro reading. Nowow, So yeah, I really it
was the right time and it wasthe right person. I want to stick
a photo up here of Earth Castlebecause I know you sent one. This
is such a beautiful place. Yeah, and airth Castle is a hotel on
top of it. It was closed. We weren't able to stay there,

(17:07):
sadly. We were, you know, stuck in the roadside motel up the
street a little bit. But butthe castle was amazing and I don't know
if they're doing work and they're whatthey're doing, but we were lucky enough
to be able to use it andinvestigate there because there were no guests.
Yeah, and and do the gallery, so it was really great. It's

(17:30):
such a beautiful, beautiful building.Yeah, there was a lot of construction
going on and the and the andthat could have been part of it too,
you know, the Yea And rightbehind Earth is Falkirk and that's where
William Wallace fell to the English.And it's rumored that the English took him
to Earth before they took him toLondon because there they were worried about retaliation

(17:56):
and there were more and and theScots were in control of Earth at the
time. Robert the Bruce later cameand burned it down after when he went
on a hand page. But that'spart of that. And this is all
information that we got from some ofthe locals there. So yeah, records
don't don't don't stick around after thethirteen hundreds and whatnot. But so these

are some of the stories from thelocals there at that place. But if
even so, that would be youknow, I mean, there's so much
history there, Like Cheryl was sayingthat it's parts of the original structure there,
A lot of it was would butsome downstairs Yeah wow, yeah,
No, that is not the place, Nancy, we were in. I
don't remember where that was. Wewere up in the Highlands, do you
remember seeing that photo. We werein the Highlands and we were all having

dinner. It was this big,long table yes, and I can't think
of the name of the end.It was kind of an old stage coach
in the stage coach in stage coachin yep. And we were all at
dinner, yes, And I'm sittingthere and there's this black thing hanging over
me. Did you see that blackness? I did right the back of the

yes, yes, yes, yes, right at the end. It was
kind of wild, you know.And and then I actually went grew ahead
in there. What's that? Iwas sorry, I mean interrupt, but
I think you're talking about that.We took the big group photo. Yes,
yes, and the most amazing dinnerever. It was fantastic. And
then they woke me up, gotme out of bed because they felt they

needed to do reiki on me.I'm like, guys, I'm fine,
you know, I am not possessed. It's it's okay, it's okay.
I ORed them and they went tobed. But it was really great.
So let's see what else do wehave. You want to look at a

Yep, we got Lori Dorsey,we got and his wife in the
back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's who that is. Yes,
his wife yep, and Mikey.That was great. So right where were
we sure? I think if youright by hind Laurie. I believe that
this is where the uh the inspirationfor Harry Potter, some of the characters

came from the headstone. Okay,yes, yes, yes, yeah,
I know where you are now,yeah, because uh, you know,
I hung out in there in Edinburgh, but apparently on the other side of
Grave Friars here is a school andshe used to walk her daughter to the
school and then she would walk aroundEdinburgh and cruise through the cemetery for inspiration.

Things like that, again from thelocals that are proud. But uh
yeah, some of the names onthe in the in the books are very
similar to some of the ones thereat Grave Friar. That was really cool.
Unfortunately I did not add I didnot add the photo where Mikey had
his wand the next show Louise.Yeah, or the tree that looked like

a butt. I also think thatwas over at I think that that was
there too. That was there wasthere too, yeah, yeah, And
I walked by and we kept lookingback and we're like, that's a butt.
We gotta go back. Yeah,right, So what happened to you
over in the jail infrairiy jail?What happened there? Well, we did

the daytime kind of investigation and wekind of branched off with the cousins,
right, Mikey and uh we werewith Rick McCollum's cousins. So we just
all of a sudden, we're allfamily. But we went into a jail
cell and we started getting all thiscoinciding evidence. We kept getting murder,

murder, and then we started gettingnames on the Basma box was the FAsMA
box? Oh, it was anegraphonic app It was a negraphonic Okay,
so we were like, okay,you know, maybe we can get a
name. So we get a name, and Mikey goes and runs to the
cabinet that has a database of allthe people that were in that jail and

their crimes, and he's looking upthis, you know, these people's names,
and we had gotten an e VPas well that said, you know,
i'd said, you know, whatwas your crime? What did you
do? And it was unmistakably murder. Yeah, So he was able to
go through and find there's goods bumpsAgain, he was able to go and

find a person by the name ofI don't even remember what the name was.
Owen. Yes, Owen. Owenwas in there for murder. Yeah
starting point. Yeah, like wassaying Thursday, the name came through on
the on the netcraphonics appened, sowe actually we said Owen Owen. Okay,
So I ran back over there.I was typing in Owen's and I
think I pulled up like four andthe first one was a thirty four year

old that was put in for murder. So we I mean that was just
that was very cool. Again,what we like is taking all the different
tech because one thing by itself,you know that that doesn't that doesn't impress
me much. But you start addingthe e VP saying murder, the name
on the necrophonic app that matches thedatabase, and I mean it was that

whole place was intense during the day. Yeah, it was. It's just
as fun. I was just gonnasay, ghosts don't know the light.
But for the most part, Ilike the dark because you know, my
senses are heightened when I can't seeas much. So like, I'm very
audio driven, so that's when Iget you know, I noticed my best

audio. But yeah, during theday, even with all the two distraction,
all that stuff, and there werea lot of people there. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, I mean itwas great. And what's that I
was to add animals to the mix. Some of the other were had gone
off in the other parts of thejail. We're having experiences too. I

mean they were hearing stuff up upstairsabove them, and it was just it
was going on all around us.Yeah, upstairs we even had you know,
my rampod going off and like allthese other things happening. I got
it all on video. But againit's you know, thirty minutes of things
happening. How do you cut downto just one? Yeah? Yeah,

it's incredible. Really, it's incredible. Yeah, and I love that.
I wish we'd had more of thatwhile we were there. The history,
it's so much history. Yeah.And what's the other thing. Yeah,
I'm just looking back because it's likea little memory, you know, a
trip down memory lane. I justwant to see Grave Friars and Infrariry.
Oh. Rosalind Chapel, all right, that is a really that is a

really cool picture. Let me grabthat here, Rosalind Chapel. I mean
you would remember that from Da Vincicode. I was about to ask if
it was the one and the same. It is the one and the same.
And if you look closely, theauthor of the da Vinci code,
No, he's not in the photo, but there is one author there.

She is right right sort of tothe there's two authors. Rick McCollum also
has a right one. Very recentlywrote about our Shenanigans in Scotland, and

then a couple to the right isRick. It's so hard to see.

before we were in you're a bitof the Shanley Hotel. I know it's
on the oppos post. So ifyou guys ever come down here. We
need to plan a trip to theShanley. But there was a serial killer.
There was a serial killer who livedthere on the third floor a long

time ago. It was a boardinghouse. Wasn't a good guy and the
story was his name was Adam andand so you know, I turned on
the necrophonic and I said, isthis Adam? And clear as day you
can hear a man speak over andjust say I'm Adam. Oh wow?

Did did I? Did I showyou that? Let me just I'm gonna
show it. You give me oneto Randolph County. We did. It
was cool. It was cool.I mean it's really uh let's see uh
paranormal project because it is. Itis on our YouTube chair. We're planning
our day to the Shanley Hotel.Mikey. We got to go, Okay,

I'm going to show you this becauseit's like the coolest thing. You
just made me think of it whenyou were talking about let me take this
photo off, when you were talkingabout the Owen guy, the murder guy.
So this guy was a serial killerand it was it. It's incredible.
Hang on one second, I'm goingto share this and I want to
go here, check this out.Mm hm there. Wow, that's as

clear as it. You got itgoing on the background paper. Yeah,
it's crazy. I mean that's thekind of stuff that makes you go all
right now, that's yeah, youknow. And then when you pair it
with you know, the hist andother things that happened, that's what gets
my goat right there. I loveit. I love curious what brought you
guys into the paranormal field. Everybodyhas an origin story. When it comes

to that, I'm gonna go first, because Mikey story is like touching.
I'm gonna cry again. I startedit was a whole fun thing for my
family. I lived in a smalltown. Wasn't a lot to do,
so my mom would take us outand we would just go check out abandoned
buildings and you know, run aroundcemeteries with flashlights. It was a fun
thing for us, and we werealways very spooky watching things. So once

(28:33):
the paranormal became, you know,more mainstream, strange escapes started having like
weekend events. So I started takingmy sister and we like had a bonding
thing happened. So we just starteddoing all these investigations and I ended up
meeting you know, the Dark Zoneand going and then meeting Mikey at the

(28:55):
La Police Museum. Funny because wehad a misconnection at the Queen Mary at
the same time, we both metAndrea Parrin for the first time. We
were both there, but we didnot meet, so weird. Yeah,
Well, I got into the paranormal. The big thing that happened, long

(29:17):
story short, in two thousand andtwo, my daughter drown in the pool
sixteen months old, and she wasa sisterly for twenty six minutes, and
I did CPR and took her tothe hospital I worked at, and we
got her back and she's she's inschool for prerex for nursing. Everything's fine.

(29:41):
But it was after that incident whenwe got home from the drowning,
we were in that we were inthe hospital for about a month, and
we started having some really extreme paranormalthings happening at home. She in particular,
was tortured by this thing she calledlittle Man, and so we would

(30:04):
she would wake up having night terrorsand I would wake up having night terrors,
and we spent I spent a lotof time trying to figure out what
was happening to her. I didn'tknow if it was related to the drowning
if something attached itself when she cameback, or I'm you know, one
day, I'm a normal guy workinga job and everything. Now I'm you

(30:26):
know, thrown into this paranormal worldand fighting something I can't see, so
and it was very real. Itwas very real. So I my journey,
and you know, for me,this is therapy. It's yeah,
I get to meet people that thathave similar stories or not, but that
don't want to feel like they're crazy, and they want validation for things.

(30:49):
And I think it's important that wetalk about this stuff and to have a
family, a paranormal family. Reallythat that we've built here is therapeutic and
and it's necessary. I can cometo Scott and Cheryl and I can tell
this story and you won't think I'mcrazy, Whereas I wouldn't go to work

and tell the doctors I work withthis because I don't want to be you
know, I thought this is right, and then it's not that they would
treat me that way, but it'sjust that's how it That's how it is
when you go through something like that. So for me, my journey continues
because I really just I like tryingto help people that are living, and

(31:33):
I like to try to help peoplethat have passed and and hopefully someone even
if it's one person in all theseyears that has seen something that we've done
or or you know, had asimilar story that's that's had some kind of
validation for themselves or some kind ofrelief from this, then then it's a
win. So that's that's why I'mstill doing this, and I think that's

(31:53):
why we get along so well becauseI've been able to learn so much from
my as far as like the empatheticpart of us, like what can we
do to help you? We're cominginto this space. We're not trying to
taunt the spirits. We're trying tosay, hey, do you need to
talk, Like is there something youwant to say? Can we help you?
Is there anything you need to do? Here come the goosebumps again.

(32:15):
And we've had some amazing experiences whereit feels like we really did get to
help, even in a small way, even even if things go back to
normal, we've been able to helpsome of these unseen but people. That's
a beautiful thing though, it reallyis to actually be able to help people
and one understand they're not crazy,right, Yeah, right, everybody assumes

(32:38):
you still start talking about ghosts andthey're either going to go hyper religious on
you or you're a nutjob. Right, yeah, right, And I'm so
grateful we've got an in between placenow, He's in a safe space where
we can talk about these things.Yeah. I love the the fact that
I can tell Scott this story aboutthis patient that I had and he doesn't

(32:59):
think, you know, he didn'tsay, Mikey, there's no way that
this patient of yours is going totravel thousands of miles across the sea to
be here today to have this event. Maybe that was the only way she
could get there and tell me thatshe heard me, or or she's been
there all along and you just didn'tnotice, right, and maybe she's just
around you and that it really thereis no space and time anyway, so

(33:22):
you know, not to negate thefact that she was in Scotland. But
I but I don't know that it'sall that complicated for them either. I
think they're just really a thought awayall that. I totally agree. I
don't think there is time and spaceonce you know. But you know,
I really think too about like whatyou do for work and how that changes
you and you know you said that. You know you because of the reading

(33:46):
that we shared together, you havea better understanding of how the things that
you do for those who are lessfortunate, who are dying, who are
sick, it really does make adifference. And maybe you wendered that,
maybe you hoped that, but youknow, you know, and it changes
how you work and you're more awareof that, and you know, it's

(34:07):
funny. I don't know if youknow this about me. You may,
I don't remember, but you know, I was a funeral director for like
thirty five years, and I didthat, which is sort of the complete
opposite of what you do in away, but it's still caring for people.
And I was burnt out and Ileft, and somehow I've found myself
in this niche where I'm still workingwith the bereaved, with the grieving because

(34:32):
the grieving come in and caring forthe people who have crossed, but in
a different way because I'm delivering theirmessages. So I really feel like,
you know, we follow our life'swork, we follow our purpose, and
it sticks with us. And youcan move things around, move the little
chest pieces, but I still thinkat the end of the day, you're
doing what you're supposed to do,and you learn and you grow from these

(34:54):
experiences. Yeah, I was gonna, you know, chime in on you
were talking about Chryl had done thereadings for the first time, and I
have so before Scotland. I havea friend that sees a reiki master in
Vegas and he was out visiting andI went up to visit him and he

(35:15):
had made an appointment and asked meto go with him. So I went
and he didn't tell me until wewere on the way there that he made
an appointment for me too. Sowe get there, I walk in,
I sit on the couch. I'mquiet. I don't know what to expect.
I'm watching him do his sessions sothat I can kind of get a
feel of what's happening. And theguy doesn't say a lot to me,
you know, he's just a quietIt's a different kind of vibe in there.

(35:37):
And I don't do this, soI don't know what's happening. But
when I went up for my turn, I sat down and he starts,
you know, doing his thing,and he goes, you're in the medical
field, And I thought to myself, why would you pick that of all
things. Why would you pick that, not a bodyguard or not a you
know, a truck driver, Likewhy medical field? And he goes,

(35:59):
well, it's more more the peoplethat came in with you. He said,
when you when you walked in throughthe door, I was overwhelmed by
the amount of people behind you.That and when you sat on the couch,
you have a crowd behind you inmy living room. And I was
trying to figure out what's happening here, But I understand it's the medical field.

(36:22):
And he goes, in long storyshort, he said, he called
me. He said you're an angelof death, and that scared me initially.
He said, don't out about that. He goes, it's not a
bad thing. He goes, WhatI mean is you're a light and they
look for you, or they talkabout you. Hey mikey' he'll help you
or whatever you're it's a good thing. And so that brought up more questions

(36:45):
for me than anything, because I'dalways been that way. Like I said,
you know, I hold a hand, I hold a baby. Whatever's
happening and people are dying that Iwould do what I could do. But
it wasn't until last year when youhad your reading and and she came through
that. It just that was thelast piece of the puzzle that I needed
to see. The picture clicked andclicked and you and you helped me do

(37:08):
that. And I hope that youknow all your fans and listeners and and
believes behind you understand that that's whatyou do and and to keep listening and
absolutely, but you know what,Mikey, and I'm telling you, I'm
getting like all kinds of feels tonight. I really have. It's crazy.
It's like goosebumps everywhere, but Ifeel like it's me, but it's not

(37:31):
me. I just listen. Yeah, I just And you know what,
that's what I was told that that'smy superpower apparently, is listening. Like
people like to vent to me.And I thought it was just like,
oh, that's because you know,I'm just I'm just that guy. Everybody
likes to vent to me. Butno, I'm a I'm a sponge.
Like give it to me. Whateverwhatever's bonding, you just give it to

(37:51):
me. Yeah, impasse can soakthat energy off. I'm finding you got
to you got to make sure thatyou're taking care of yourself to get rid
of that and and make sure youknow what belongs to somebody else, right,
and that's not easy to you know, decipher it's not being new.

(38:13):
So yeah, it really comes throughfor us in these investigations. Like Cheryl,
you know, she doesn't with theliving. But when we were in
Balgoni behind me and we had thatcounter down in the in the chapel,
there was a you know, Cherylcan feel that and she like she we
call her the audio Queen, butshe felt like this was an opportunity for

(38:36):
her to She didn't run from theopportunity to go down there and and meet
with this entity that the other group, the Scottish Paranormal and I have had
experiences with in the past. Shesaid, I got to go in there.
I'm gonna go in there, buymyself and talk to this guy.
And I think it's because she listened, like she said, not she's not
just listening to, you know,me talk about my experience and she's listening

(39:00):
to the environment. And she wentin there and she did that and we
had an amazing you know encounter theretoo. So it's we're we kind of
go in this as tech geeks witheverything I buy all this stuff I turn
but everyone that I've ever worked with, said Mikey, your most important piece

(39:20):
of equipment that you bring to aninvestigation is you you, and we're learning
that, cheryln You know. Ithink Cheryl and I are are more open
to that, and the more openwe are, the more the better experiences
we have. I feel so muchmore now. I love my toys,
Don't get me wrong, please,I love it. I know where to
put them now because I'm like,oh, I'm like, I'm feeling something

(39:45):
like I've been doing house cleansing withmy friend, the American witch Melissa Saint
Hilaire, and like the minute Iwalked into this last house, I was
like, WHOA like failty old Hollywoodand I totally felt all that energy and
it's so strange to me because Inever had that before. But yeah,

(40:07):
start paying. The more you doit, the more that's going to happen.
But we need people like Scott andyou know, the Andreas and the
Ricks and the yes that are doingthis that then encourage you to do that
you Yes. It goes back tothat whole I don't want to talk about
it and do it because I don'twant to feel weird, and where Scott
will say no, listen, listenand go to it. Run to the

(40:30):
fire fireman, don't run away fromit. Like I mean, here's the
thing, Mikey, you know,like I all I When I say all
I do is listen, I mean, but if they don't talk to me,
I don't get it right. I'mjust lucky that they choose me to
talk to you, because I can'tdo it without them. I mean,
this isn't It's not like you can. It's not like teaching somebody a magic
trick, you know, and youcan repeat it over and over. I

(40:52):
mean, I sit before a readingand I think, Okay, I'm here
for you. I'm trusting you.So like guys, don't go for coffee
because if you're God, I can'tdo this, you know. And and
it always you know, you justhave to learn to trust. I think
that, yeah, it's it's it'sit's true. Really, you know.
I used to go on investigations andI'd have my bag of tricks and all

(41:13):
my stuff, and I realized thatI really didn't get anything. And people
would say to me, do youfeel anything? I'm like, no,
I get nothing like feeling it.And I think it was because I was
so focused on the bag of tricksand wondering what I'd pick up on this
thing or that thing that I'm notstopping myself and just being and just listening.

(41:34):
And so I'm going away this weekend. I have a doing an event
up in Maine, the Parafest,Maine, and there's an investigation Friday night.
I'm not bringing anything, but Imight be. I'll probably bring a
K two. That's it. I'mnot doing anything else. I just want
to sit and feel it, youknow, because I feel like I don't
do enough of that, and wein general, we just don't do enough
of that. We just rely onthe other stuff. Yeah, so I

(41:57):
like to layer everything. Yeah,I'm going on a like a touristy investigation
in Vegas this weekend. So I'mkind of like, you know, I
paid for tickets and and I'm going, but I'm still ringing, you know,
the voice recorder, the K twoand the spirit box because they'll allow
it. There you go. We'vehad a great opportunity, Cheryl and I

(42:19):
working together and doing these things towork with mediums and psychic and the marriage
of the two. And we've donethis, I mean other you know,
this isn't new, but but weus having the opportunity to do it has
been new to us and our investigations, and it's been amazing because what we
you know, we pick up youknow who is a medium picks up on
something and like Cheryl said, Iknow what piece of equipment to grab,

(42:43):
and then we say, you know, hey, what you know talking to
this or whatever. However it worksout. We've had really good a marriage
of the two and really good evidencewith it because of that. So it's
it's it's a great thing. Yes, I mean to be able to work
that and be open and just goand do it. And our medium friend

(43:04):
she was like, oh my gosh. You know we were able to literally
like pass a spirit on and she'salways like, well, you know,
I feel it and I know it'shappened. But Mike ended up recording her
basically telling them like what to do, how to go, all this good
stuff, and we got this insanesound where it was like a whoosh,
like it was like happening. Soagain she was like, you know,

(43:29):
I know it happened. But havingthat kind of validation as well, right,
because exactly has happened to you?Scott? How many times have you
helped someone cross over or whatever itis that you've done. But you've been
by yourself, you've been with asmall group of people, and you don't
have it. You don't have evidenceof it, you know, on audio

(43:50):
or video. But that's that doesn'tmean that it's not happening. We've been
lucky enough to have equipment to doculeand validate it for the mediums that are
doing this as well. It's,you know, both sides, everybody is
getting validation. I've only done itthree times. I've never had equipment with
me, but I can tell youthat the feeling is very different. It's

(44:14):
different than just doing a gallery orhaving a conversation. It was all the
emotions, all the feels. Imean, I felt like I was losing
my best friend, but I washappy I felt I mean, it was
like the weirdest thing. It wasall kinds of feelings that you don't like.
I don't usually get like that inthe real world. But you know

(44:35):
that you're doing something because it justhits like that, you know. But
to have that evidence, to haveit on camera, to have it,
you know a sound or something,is just so cool. And you hear
about that too. Mike, Idon't know if you've seen it. People
that have watched on camera, youknow, they're with someone who's passing away
and they catch the spirit. Theyjust see something kind of moving away,

(44:59):
and you know, I don't knowif you've experienced that, but I've heard
stories like that too. It's amazing. Yeah, audio, we got,
not visual, but we you know, Melissa was listen. She was in
her zone, seeing and hearing andcommunicating. And there was a gentleman in
the room that we the woman hadpassed, and we were telling the guy

(45:21):
you can go with her, andthe EVP I've played back. Oh my
god, I'm getting tearyot already,and we got a clear as day e
VP of a male saying will Ibe okay? Oh my gosh, and
she said, yes, go,You'll be fine, go with her.
Go. But she you know,like I said, Scott in the background,
you're hyper focused on this. You'renot probably don't even know. I'm

(45:43):
standing next to you with the recorder, but I'm texting what you're seeing and
what you're feeling. We're you know, we're catching that with the cameras and
with the and it's so when youput it all together, it was just
a beautiful, you know, amazingencounter and so so great. I mean,
how many times in anybody's lifetime thatdoes this do you get to experience

(46:05):
that? And we've had multiple Soit's just it's a blessing, you know.
And that's asks like how do youfeel if you're up against evil?
That that's Balcone Castle. The womenfelt pushed out, the women didn't feel
safe, like didn't like the women. And I was like, I feel
fine here, Like I feel comfortable. I want to go in, I
want to try, and you know, amazing things happen because of it.
So you know, just because youthink it's evil up front, you know,

(46:28):
I'm give them a second chance.Yeah, absolutely, we did that.
And what's that there's a difference justbetween evil and dark, right,
And I think a lot of peopleconfuse the two. Yeah. Well,
and then it's knowledge, right,and I mean experience, I guess doing
these two like you, we've alsohad medium say hey, let's back off

(46:52):
from this one, right, youknow, let's we need to step away
and pull back and so and Iand like sure said in the beginning,
we don't taunt and so there's stillso much to learn, and you know,
I'm just thankful that we have amazingpeople like you and all these people
that we've networked with throughout the timethat Cheryl and I've been doing this until

(47:14):
the time we met, until nowto learn from and then share our experiences
with things have changed so much.Yeah, we crossed over someone at Greyfriars
Chapel, Oh Wow, in Scotland, and we got there and it was
immediately we found we sensed this manwho was looking for his wife and his
son. He said, he said, he now here's the strange thing.

(47:37):
Okay, so I'm I'm picking thisup. Someone else is doing automatic writing
next to me, and we're findingout that the things she's writing are the
things I'm saying. And he wasa peasant and he thought he wasn't allowed
to go to heaven because he wasn't. And it was the strangest thing because

(47:58):
he crossed. You know, thereare no coincidences. Somebody was playing the
organ upstairs. It was loud orloud and loud, and then as soon
as he crossed and went through thelight, the organ stopped. The lights
went off and they told us wehad to leave, that they were closing
the chapel. It was like,oh my god, it was everything for
a reason, Scott, every everythingfor a reason. It was just incredible.

(48:22):
People had people were watching, theyhad tears. I mean it was
it was very very strange and emotionaland beautiful. I don't know, I
mean, it's just beautiful. Andto be a part of that is just
incredible. Hey, you know what, I'm just looking at the time.
We only have a short little fewminutes left. What's going on with the
Glenn Tabott And I don't mean tolike, because I'm loving this conversation.

I had gone to do the Glenntavern in with Rick McCollum and the Spirit
Realm Network and we had an amazingexperience there. So we went back with
our group of friends here just asa friends trip, and Bloomkey came and
filmed it. That was when wehad this amazing experience and we helped that
woman and the man, you know, will I be okay? And like

(49:07):
all this crazy stuff happened. Weturned this into one episode, right,
So we did some dead air fullspectrum on it, and now we're going
to be going back. We're goingto be going back with the Spirit Realm
Network and doing a live investigation onNovember eighteenth, correct, Mikey, Yes,

(49:27):
so we get to touch base withour friends there and kind of see
how things are going. Yeah,we did have some crazy experiences there the
first time with Spirit Realm when wedid you know, Rick was getting cussed
at by spirits. We got cussedat when we went with our family investigation.
But that's where you know, thisthis particular time and I know we're

(49:47):
run out of time, but wewent into it with there's been a lot
of people there that have done investigationsthere, that have had experiences there.
We went into it with the mentalitythat, you know, we're not going
to try to debunk their experiences oror validate their experiences. We're going to
have our own experiences. And sowe kind of cleared the palette and or
the plate and went in with ourown clean slate, and the the evidence

that we got or the experiences thatwe have were just just emotional and amazing.
So I love that place and metoo looking forward to going back.
So hopefully we'll have another round threeof getting cussed at what I will you
