The Paranormal Project Radio Show. Carryyour hosts, Scott Allen and Christina Bowen.
(00:42):
Hello everyone, and welcome back tothe Paranormal Project Radio Show. This
is the very first show of Februaryand we have been on hiatus for a
few weeks. I'm alone tonight.Christina is not feeling too well, so
she's taking then. I hope she'llbe back with us next week. But
(01:03):
we spent some time away. Wewere in San Antonio, Texas. Excuse
me for the lone Star para con, and boy, I have to tell
you we had a great time. From the river walk and the VIP experience,
it was truly truly a fantastic, fantastic experience. We got to stay
(01:23):
in this mansion in San Antonio. It was called the Beauregard Mansion, and
I got there before anyone else. Now, this room, this building is
massive. It's three levels and Ithink there's like seven bedrooms in the place.
But I got in and the firstthing I thought was, man,
it smells like an old haunted house. But funny thing was, as it
(01:46):
turns out, I slept on thefirst floor and it was very quiet for
me. Christina came in, gotinto her bedroom, which was in the
front of the house. It's whereshe decided she wanted to sleep and heard
what she thought was a gunshot, and she called Barry Kling because she said,
(02:09):
I just heard a gunshot. Arewe are we okay here? He
said, well, you know,it's San Antonio, so who knows.
But it seemed to be coming frominside the house. And then she heard
a woman crying, sobbing. Shecould hear that in the other room.
(02:30):
For the most part, it waspretty quiet until Sunday. We were sitting
around and there was a stack ofStarbucks cups on the kitchen counter and they
just flew off and landed all overthe floor, and I thought, well,
that's different. And then the voicesstarted coming and we could hear people
calling names, and it ended upbeing an eventful, eventful final night in
(02:53):
the mansion. So if you areever looking to stay in a haunted house,
you can reach out to the cleanothers who put on the lone Star
paricn in San Antonio and tell themyou want to rent the mansion. Yeah,
so Christina is actually here watching. She just popped in the chat.
She said, we saw that fromthe couch in the parlor. And I
(03:14):
do remember that I was sitting Iwas sitting on the couch itself, trying
to show this there we go.I was sitting on the couch myself and
I saw the cops go flying. That's when something grabbed my leg too.
I felt something grabbed my foot.So if you ever want to stay,
you can reach out to the KlingBrothers because I know that they have the
contacts and they can arrange to getyou in there. But it really truly
(03:38):
was and I am now officially bookedfor twenty twenty five. I will be
back there again, and that's goingto be March of twenty twenty five Lone
Star Paracon in San Antonio. Soif any of you are from Texas or
want to take the trip, itis well worth the experience. We had
a wonderful time. I also wantto talk about just a brief minute before
(03:59):
we bring our guests out. Imet our guests in San Antonio at the
para con. They came and Ryan, who's with us tonight, came and
introduced himself and said they had aTV show and they wanted to talk about
it. And we just happened tohave an opening this week, which was
miraculous. We had a guest thathad to move her appearance on the show,
so I said, come on down, we'd love to chat with all
(04:21):
of you. While I was there, I launched Sense of Fear. We
launched our scented candles. We havea line of right now, there's sixteen,
and there's a bunch of others inproduction. But if you like scented
candles, these are paranormally themed candles, but they're not spooky. So this
(04:42):
one here is called let Me BeFrank, and it's frightening citrus berry and
monster musk. This one we didnot have when we were there. This
is one of the ones we didnot bring with us, so that's one
of the new ones. But Ialso have a couple here to show you
that were two of the ones thatsold out when we were there, which
(05:03):
is amazing. This one is calledPhantom Fire, so it is like the
Gettysburg battlefield and it smells like battlefieldgrass and coast ghostly cannons, and it's
kind of that nice fresh battlefield smell, I guess. And this one here,
(05:24):
which honestly, the things that Ithought weren't going to sell, sold
like crazy. This one is calledserial Killer. It's cereal, like your
breakfast cereal, and you can seeit like there it is maybe I don't
know if you can see it.Oh no you can't because the green screens
picked it up. Looks like fruitloops, smells like fruit loops. It's
like your breakfast. So there's awhole bunch. If you go to Sense
(05:46):
of Fear dot com and that's sceNts of Fear, and you'll see the
whole bunch of them, and peopleseem to really be enjoying them. So
I want to let people know. But that's not what our show was about.
I've talked enough. I really wantto bring our guests out, Chanelle,
can you bring everybody out onto thescreen so we can have a chat?
Here we go, here they come, Hi, guys, I'm going
(06:09):
Hi. Who do we have here? We have Gypsy, Ryan, Melissa,
Josh, Katie and Colleen. Thanksfor joining us, Thank you,
thanks for having us great. Yeah, no, this is really great.
And I'm glad Ryan that you cameand introduced yourself at my booth in Texas.
(06:30):
You're I mean the first thing Ismelled your candles in of course they're
amazing. Thank you. Yeah, right, Oh, I appreciate it.
It was nice. And then youknow, and then Colleen came around.
How did you come up with theidea for your show? Well, I
guess it's all starts with me andGypsy. We were she was doing a
(06:54):
signing at a local haunted house andwe started talking and next thing I know,
you know, she's like, ifyou put this show together, Wolf,
make a TV show. And that'sbasically what has happened. So we've
just it's just progressed over the lastyear and a half. And yeah,
(07:15):
that's how it all started, andwe just it's slowly just you know,
kind of snowball effect, and yeah, now we have an actual TV show.
So that's awesome. And you're justlike at the point of launching it,
right, so you don't have anyfull seasons out or anything yet,
you're just at the beginning. Josh, do you want to kind of explain
that what we're doing right now?We are. I've actually done a sneak
(07:39):
peek of the Paranorol investigations that wasplayed at the Expo this past weekend.
I've also got a couple of trailersout that we hope to air sometime soon
before the first episode, but reallyright now, it's just a process of
agatting everything added down to an entirestory. And we just got done with
(08:07):
the what they call the healium plantin Fort Worth, which is also a
hot house itself, but it wasthe very first helium plant uh in the
in the United States and the world, and it was where everyone, all
these zeppelins would come in and youknow, air up there their things and
that's uh. It also became ahospital, became a military base. There's
(08:31):
so many stories behind it, andour objective right now is just just get
a story that not only connects withthe paranormal, but connects with any findings
that Gypsy has doing metal detect andso a lot of this is not just
about the investigations, but it's alsoabout the history and the findings and hopefully
relics that we can uh you know, we can research while the episode's going
(08:54):
on. So it's it's an amazingconcept from star to begin from start to
finish. And when I was broughtin, I did not know it was
going to be a metal detecting show. It was actually Rutt right after a
couple a couple of weeks after Imet Ryan Uh personally that that it became
(09:16):
Metal Detected and I thought that waseven that was even better than we could
ever expect. And it's been awonder wonderful experience for not just me before
the entire cast and crew. Wow. Yeah, I'm doing gypsy you you
you do that? I mean thatwas your that's been your thing, right,
that isn't new? Yeah. SoI've been metal detecting now for twenty
(09:39):
five years, but lifelong treasure hunter, but the metal detecting part for twenty
five years. And just a littlebit about me is I just launched my
first book. In fact, Ihad them at the Para con there.
Sorry, my first book. It'sa Beginner's Guide to Metal Detecting. And
(10:03):
I'm sponsored by Garrett Metal Detectors. And I've done some TV work on the
Discovery Channel as well as the HistoryChannel. And you know, what I
do a lot always connects with history. And what's more important about that and
how it connects, you know, with the paranormal side, is everything holds
(10:28):
energy, you know, everything,And the fascinating part about that is is
how the history and these objects thatI dig up have energy that connects.
And that's what hopefully that what Iwill be able to bring, you know,
that hasn't been seen before really onTV, not to this what's pinnacle
(10:54):
or you know, not to thistype of what I'm trying to think of
the word, but you get mydraft a, yeah, extent. So
when Ryan and I first initially metwhere Katie works, and I met Katie
that night too, where this wholeidea was birthed. I was actually asked
(11:16):
to be a guest on another paranormalshow to do the metal detecting. It
was someone that saw my YouTube channeland was really into metal detecting and wanted
to connect that. So that kindof gave us the idea, or gave
me the idea hey, you know. And so when I met Ryan and
started talking to him, and hewas just like, wow, you know
(11:39):
this that that would be a greatidea. You really think you want to
do something like that? And Iwas like yeah. And then so he
called me up a few weeks laterand said, Hey, if you're really
serious about doing a show, welllet's do it. And you know,
having that experience of already working onother TV shows and that sort of thing
(12:03):
and knowing what goes into the work, you know, it kind of helps
to know what to do for forwhat we're for our project. And I'm
really excited. It's really come along way from the very beginning, you
know, when I first met theteam, uh with you know, Josh
and Katie and and Melissa and Ryan, and then now we've added Colleen,
(12:28):
which what I love about that isshe's a psychic and she's going to be
able to you know, touch theseobjects and hopefully get readings from some of
these objects and being able to connectyou know, these objects to the history
of the property. It's just goingto you know, blow your mind when
once that starts happening. That soundsgreat. So so what how does the
(12:50):
show work? You know, youstart out of you start out the episode
and where are you I mean, how do you go from ghost hunting to
So basically it'll start out with ahistory brief, you know, about the
history of the property. Because allof these properties, you know, why
are they being haunted or why isthere this paranormal activity? Well that's why
(13:16):
we bring in this whole team ofinvestigators and everybody has their own unique way
that they can add to and investigatewith their own experiences and their own unique
ways to you know, get tothe bottom of these paranormal you know,
incidences. And then so basically, you know, introduce you to the history
(13:37):
of the property, which is veryimportant to know where you're at, what
you're doing. And then uh,that's where I come in and metal detect
and find these objects and then Iwill bring them to the team to hopefully
connect to maybe even find an objectthat's connected to someone that lived at that
property or I've found objects in thepast, you know that actually have names
(14:01):
on them that were personal items. So to be able to connect something like
that to a place you're investigating isit's just so unique and so cool.
And then they'll be able to,like Colleen and the whole team will be
able to take it in there, these objects and say, oh, well
we know that so and so livedin this room, this is where their
(14:24):
bedroom was. Well, let's bringthis object in here and use it maybe
as a trigger object to you know, hopefully get some some readings or some
unique response. That's great. Andthen Katie, what what do you what
is your job? Well, asa part of this project, I'm a
(14:50):
paranormal investigator. But as us andRyan was saying, they met me through
Payman's House of Horrors, that isthe haunted house located at the Helium Plant,
and working at that location and knowingnothing about paranormal investigating, I learned
the very in person way that whathappens when you're in a haunted building for
(15:11):
periods of time and have experiences. So yeah, so wait, it's like
a Halloween haunted house, not anot a haunted location. It's like it's
a haunted location. It has aHalloween haunted house in it, but we
didn't know it all that haunted. When we moved into that property. We're
like, this is an amazing, really cool property. Let's put a haunted
(15:33):
house there. And over time we'relike, okay, all right, we're
not We're not alone. It's veryactive here. Oh cool, Yeah,
you don't need all the Hollywood stuff. I mean please, everybody selling for
everyone? Yeah yeah, right? Are you sorry? I thought you were
(15:56):
going to say something wrong? Areyou? Are you like the paranormal side,
right, you're the paranormal paranormal Uhyeah, that's yeah. I'm paranormal
investigator and kind of came up withthis whole Me and Gypsy came up with
this whole concept. I mean, like all the locations we've done in the
(16:18):
or whatever, probably I would definitelysay Healing Plan is by far the most
active that we've done. I mean, I've never some of the stuff that's
happened is just insane. Do you, Melissa, want to kind of tell
them of your stories that happened whenwe were there and doing filming. While
we were filming, and we werein the s smith and they had men
(16:41):
in the room and they were askingme questions, and I had the earphones
on, having some guy standing overme, and I heard through the radio
some like gun shops at first, and then I heard necklace. So I
repeated, well, I think welost their audio. Yeah, Melissa,
(17:07):
I think we I think we lostyou. So I'm gonna ask, are
you the rest of you familiar withthe story that she's telling or I'm not.
As she was hearing something about anecklace, I was about two rooms
away in the building, and Istarted to feel like I just nauseous.
(17:30):
She couldn't breathe, whatnot. Andso it went down the opposite end away
from everybody to quietly, I don'tknow, pass out, throw up.
I didn't know what was going tohappen. And the area around the necklace
that I'm wearing it right now,I felt like I was being strangled by
like but like something, not notby the chain, but like by like
(17:51):
a force, like a hand. And I played with this necklace, this
crystal whenever I get like nervous, and so I had it in my hand.
And then it just went from there. And all I remember is that
I was I couldn't breathe, andI was panicking. And then Melissa got
overwhelmed with what she was experiencing, and so she was in a bit of
a panic and we just panicked together, even though we weren't in the same
room. It just it was reallyreally overwhelming. That entity is he does
(18:17):
not like us at all. Wow. So and then Colleen comes in and
she picks up on things around thelocation and the objects. Have you ever
not gotten an object? Have youever gone and been like, well,
there's nothing here connected to this building? Or very very rarely, because energy
(18:38):
doesn't just disappear when somebody passes away, you know what I mean. It
can stay where they spent most oftheir time, where they were most emotionally
connected, where they had a traumaticexperience, or it can go with them
and pass on. But I'm learningas we go that the on part is
(19:02):
less frequent than people like to thinkit is. It's very I wouldn't say
very rare to come across a buildinga location that doesn't have any activity in
it. Honestly, it's it's insane. Do you find that you have to
go in cold absolutely? I knownothing about where I know where we're going.
(19:26):
I know the building name, andthat's it. When she actually goes
in before she just not because shedoesn't know anything. It's because she tells
us, Hey, I don't wantto know anything what's going to happen,
because I pretty much pretty much wantto be surprised and see for yourself.
So we don't give her any ofthe history. We don't give her anything
(19:47):
before she goes into a location.I want to go on absolutely blind,
knowing nothing. Now, Now,Gypsy, I think when I asked if
you've never gotten objects, I guessI could have asked you the same question.
Do you ever not get anything connectedwith the building when you are doing
(20:07):
your metal detecting. That really dependson the property and how much area there
is to metal detect Sometimes, becausesome of the places it's hard to find
like if it's a hotel where they'vegot it all seemented in and they've got
a parking lot, Now you knowa lot of those objects are under there,
(20:30):
so we're trying to be choosy onwhat places we investigate. That way,
I've got an area to metal detectand sometimes that can be a little
difficult at times, and sometimes youmight not find exactly what you're hoping for.
But the cool thing is, asyou know, as a detectorist and
(20:53):
just the history part as well.Even if I don't find anything or anything
of great significance to the history,I can also research and bring some history,
maybe shed some light on some ofthe history or what's going on by
some of the things that I digup, you know, maybe through research
(21:14):
as well. So it's kind ofdigging digging history as well as digging the
objects. So that's why I lovethis is the history too and how it
can connect with the paranormal. Ibet I'll just tell you you know that
on that I've never done metal detectingin my life, but I had.
I used to. I don't knowif I told you. I tell people
(21:37):
on the show all the time.I used to be a funeral director.
Every owned three funeral homes at onetime. Wow, over a period of
thirty five years. And we builta brand new building from the ground up.
And when they were doing site work, they found a foundation and the
foundation was connected to this old mansionthat had been there like one hundred years
earlier. It had burned down.Wow that I mean, it was completely
(22:03):
wooded and overgrown. But we foundruggist bottles, shoes, pots and pans,
all kinds of things connected to thepeople that live in that house.
Put them in a box, threwthem in the garage, and man,
did the haunting start. I mean, that's a perfect example exactly. You
(22:25):
know, yes and everything. It'svery common for a lot of metal detectorists
that do what I do. Thatactually since so I have a YouTube channel
and a lot of times, youknow, we're digging these historical objects where
like I said earlier, there's energyattached. You know, who was the
last person that held that, whowas the last person that lost that?
(22:47):
How did that you know end upthere? And like you said, some
of these properties, it's amazing whatyou're can unearth, even if it's not
a metal object. Because I doa lot of what we call dump digging,
or you know, all of theseold homes like they back then,
they didn't have trash service, SoI do what they call privy digging too,
(23:11):
if anyone knows what a privy is. Back in the day, it
was a toilet. You know, they would have the wooden outhouses in the
back well. You know, they'dbe there reading their newspaper or whatever.
You know, they didn't quite havetoilet paper like Q either, so you
know, they drop all kinds ofthings in you know there. But it's
(23:33):
cool, you know, because Ifind bottles while I'm digging. I mean
the metal detector may not may notpick it up, but you'll be surprised
the non metal objects that I find, like marbles and old bottles and things,
and some of an old doll youknow, dolls is one thing that's
really creepy. Like yesterday, Ijust found a doll arm from an old
(23:56):
you know, ceramic doll. Justa surface fine, but that's what's really
cool, and that could be anobject that they could use, you know
as well. So I love myfirst thought when you told me that about
that funeral home and then digging thatup. I love to detect and sift
those old piles when they're doing thisconstruction and building parking lots and stuff like
(24:21):
that, because then it's probably goingto be buried for another hundred years if
you don't get that opportunity to dothat grab it. That's right. So
you're based out of Fort Worth? Is is that what we're based out of
the Fort Worth area? Yeah?Yeah, we're based out of dft W
Fort Worth. Yeah, okay, and your travels, I mean the places
(24:41):
that you're going to are pretty muchlocated in and around that area or how
like all the places, all thelocations we've done is mostly in Texas,
East Texas, North Texas, inSouth Texas. So I mean that's basically
we're trying to lore the state ofTexas right now. And there's so much
(25:03):
history here as people don't even realizethat, you know, how we can
apply this metal detecting with haunted locationsand all that. Suff This is the
first time a show's ever been donelike this. Yeah, And I think
as we grow and you know, once the season's you know after, I
think it'll grow from Texas as well, because just like at the par Con,
(25:26):
I don't know if you heard it, Scott but remember the lady from
the UK that was one of theguest speakers. I can't remember her name,
but she was giving her talk andshe's talking about these castles where you
know, there's this this king, you know that once dwelt in these castles,
(25:48):
you know, king and queen andthey were having apparitions and all that.
Can you imagine digging and metal detectingone of those castles. I was
just like sitting there drooling, youknow, be like totally would Uh So,
who knows. You know, we'restarting in Texas, but we're already
you know, I've been getting alot of offers lately of hey, you
(26:14):
know, we've got a place overin Oklahoma, or we've got a place
here, you know. So hopefullyit'll span out, but we're starting with
the area right now where we canall you know, easily access Texas a
big state. It really is.Have you done anything in San Antonio?
Because San Antonio is pretty haunted, well very haunted. Yeah. So that's
(26:40):
another thing. When you mentioned youryour your candles earlier and you were talking
about the battlefield thing, what wasthat candle called phantom fire? Phantom fire?
So like the the Klean Brother WhenI first met them, I was
(27:02):
actually metal detecting on a we wereactually looking for a cold case on a
missing person, and I met theClean brother Brothers working with that, working
my part along with another psychic aswell. And anyway, long story short,
(27:22):
there, I'm going to be workingwith the Clean Brothers as well on
a spot where an old Civil Warbattlefield was. So I'm hoping to possibly
get our whole team later and thenmaybe we can join with the Clean Brothers
when when I go do that metaldetecting battlefield in Virginia. So that would
(27:44):
be an awesome thing. Hopefully, hopefully we'll get that, you know,
worked out with the production company andstuff to where we can do that.
I think it would make an amazingepisode. That sounds great. Yeah,
Josh, you do you have afilmmaker background, is it? You're yeah,
I've been I've been doing I've beena filmmaker since I was seventeen.
(28:07):
So just like every other filmmaker, you know, you have that those issues
where you think, oh I'm gonnaI'm finally gonna make it, and you're
like, uh something, you knowsomething. But this has been the like
the first real opportunity to actually showshowcase not only the work that I've done
(28:30):
for since I was seventeen, butalso help other filmmakers, like I have
a a teacher that I had sincehigh school who has got out to me
about sound people, cameraman, anyonethat's involved in EDD and that's been willing
(28:51):
to help with our show as wellwhen we if we ever, you know,
when we do need novice filmmakers. So I've been and since I was
like fifteen, oh wow, soand directing since I was twenty something.
So and now I'm I'm forty one, so it's it's time. It's time
(29:14):
to get something going here go.Yeah. So luckily I met Ryan through
Facebook advertisement that he did, anduh, it's been magic ever since.
Well that's what I was going toask you. I mean, did you
you didn't all just know each otherand decide to do this. It was
all kind of you all kind ofcame at it. Well, I guess,
(29:37):
I mean, I can, Iguess I can kind of explain the
whole stare stepping process of all this. I met Gypsy and I met Josh,
but I had already known Katie andSean of our paranormal group and whatever,
and I'm just we just all kindof built, you know. It's
just been a kind of a snowballeffect of us, and everybody's just been
(29:59):
so intrigued with this project and justwilling to, you know, work at
what we're trying to accomplish, andeverybody sees my vision of what I'm trying
to create, and I think it'sit's just it's just been awesome. Everybody
loves what we're trying to do,and we're also willing to sacrifice our bodies
and minds for everything that's going on. Trust me, right, and you
(30:22):
know what a lot of people, and I'm sure from other paranormal shows you
see even the behind the scenes stufflike the stuff that Josh does and our
camera people do the things that happento them as well the parormal experiences.
So I think one cool thing thathopefully we'll be able to fit into the
(30:42):
show as well as have a fewyou know, behind state, behind the
stage or behind the scenes moments, because I mean, Josh has had some
amazing experiences, you know, andI know we we got to Katie.
(31:04):
I mean, Melissa started explaining herstory earlier, and I don't know most
of you probably don't know, butMelissa is a nurse, so she's really
handy to have on there as wellbecause of her nurse background. You know,
Katie's over here getting choked. Wehave a medic on SIT and paranormal
(31:27):
all combined exactly, so it's gonnabe it's gonna be epic. Do you
have a medic and you say amedic and a nurse, I'm just a
nurse. My hyps medic sounds coolerand I'm well. And if you're not
very good, you can still talkto him because Colleen's on cast, so
(31:48):
she can help you out. Youknow, things don't work out, I
don't lose anybody, right Yeah,uh, that's great. And so what
next? You're still filming or you'rejust trying to get one episode off the
ground. Yet we're trying right now, we're in the process of doing all
the editing and trying to get toget get We're trying to get the mermaide
(32:14):
you know, the budget for productionright now. That's what I'm trying to
work on right now. I'm Ihave I have several people interested in our
show, so I'm trying to getall that worked out right now. So
I'm in the process of doing that, and uh, I mean we just
and then Josh is doing editing andgetting everything working and all that stuff.
(32:36):
So it's it's it's it's starting topay off. I mean, I will
say that, so I will Iwill say this right now. That makes
us, even through ed and allthis footage, is that What makes us
our show different than most other showsis that it's real. Mm hmm.
Some people they'll just go shoot somethingand then and it's like, we're gonna
(33:00):
add a little bit of after effectsof this, We're gonna change something up,
you know, you know, likelike most realities TV series are,
but ours is one real everything thatcomes to everything that comes out of our
mouths. When we're doing interviews, when we're doing just an impromptu sit down
(33:24):
and just talk about things. Nothingis scripted. Nothing is say you should
probably say this. No, welet everyone say what they want to say
and what their opinions are and whattheir experiences are, and that, to
me, that's as different as whatother shows are. Right, Matt Kondraki
(33:45):
just said hello, he's with DarkEchos Paranormal on Amazon Prime. I don't
know if you know Matthew at all. You just heard you. He said,
Hi. They just lined up withthe paraflex and and I actually just
told an episode for them. Idon't know, a couple of weeks ago
to three weeks ago, which willbe coming out of season two. But
(34:07):
you know, just being behind thecamera or in front of the camera,
depending on where your job is,there's other stuff that happens that you could
not have anticipated. There could bebloopers, there could be And I'm going
to say this if Matthew's listening.I mean, you know, look,
I'm not going to give anything aboutthe episode away because it's all under lock
(34:29):
and seal until it comes out.But I will say that one of the
premises of the show is they reallydo want to keep it really real,
and they blindfold the medium. Wedon't even know. I didn't know where
I was going other than the townI was in. That's all I could
tell you. I didn't know where. They blindfolded me, drove me to
the location, took me out, brought me in the building, and just
(34:52):
as they were going to take theblindfold off, whoever was filming said,
oh, we got to go backand do that again because something wasn't right,
or something was off and so backto be out of the building,
did the whole thing over again. But you know it's all real, you
know. But those are the thingsyou can't you can't you can't count on,
(35:12):
you know, things happen that's scary. I'll don't get any ideas,
please please, Well you know somethinginteresting too, uh, Colleen, you
know, is a psychic. ButKatie what a lot of people don't realize.
(35:35):
And just from working with Katie,oh my gosh, she is so
intuitive and she can hear and seethings as well. And there was one
place we were investigating and filming andshe was telling me some stuff and I
was like, oh my gosh.I'm like, and you know, that's
what's interesting too. There's stuff thathappens behind you know, behind the scenes
(35:59):
too that we pick up on throughthe investigating, Like that one place we're
investigating where the lady was crying bythe bathroom for the gypsy because the nurse
comes out in me and I'm like, we think this is right and it's
neat to work with, you know, these two ladies that are very very
(36:22):
psychic, very intuitive, because thisis stuff that I I mean, I
think we all have psychic abilities.Honestly, that's my thing. It's just
we don't always know how to tunein to those things. But those two
people there are it's pretty mind blowing. I love being able to work with
(36:43):
them. It's going to be it'sa blast. And I think the more
you do what we do, youknow, the paranormal part of this and
going into these places, I feellike if you're even remotely sensitive, it
starts to become a little more absolutelyright. You know, everybody raised their
hand, you know that's it,yes, exactly. And you know I
(37:07):
was raised to where you know allof that paranormal stuff. You know,
I was raising a very uh strongChristian environment and you know, don't believe
in that kind of thing. AndI remember when I had my very first
paranormal experience. Of course, Iwasn't doing any investigating, and I still
(37:28):
don't necessarily consider myself as an investigatoras in the paranormal. But I tell
you, when you get into theseplaces and you start experiencing, Like when
I was at Hunted Hill House, everybody was out investigating, you know,
a room and there all of asudden, I get I'm in. I'm
in the kitchen all by myself, and I get a tap tap tap on
(37:51):
the shoulder and I'm like, whatjust happened? You know, get a
whisper in the ear right. Soit's amazing. It is amazing, and
I feel like the more you doit, the stronger it will get because
you understand what it looks like. That's the thing that was tough for me
was thinking it was like, Imean, I saw Whoopi Goldberg and ghosts,
(38:13):
right, It's not like that. No, it makes sense, but
when you realize what it really isthat you're supposed to be tuning into,
it's like, Okay, now yougot it, and it just keeps getting
stronger and stronger in places. It'sa muscle that you have to grow,
honestly true. Although interestingly Colleen andI don't know if you and I talked
(38:34):
about this in Texas, but I'mpretty much clamped down unless I'm supposed to
be looking for it. So Idon't just walk out and go. You
know, I've been on investigations andI'm like, I got nothing. You
know, it is nothing. I'mjust shut down. But if I'm supposed
to, it all comes out.Like when we film the TV show,
I was getting like bombarded with stuffand it is. It's just I think
(38:57):
they know. Spirit knows when you'reworking. Okay, need us to show
up, all right, we'll bethere. I agree. Like I don't
walk through you know, a storeor somebody else's house, just you know,
feeling stuff. I feel like it'slike you said, spirit and our
intent, like we know we're goingthere. We're no, we're gonna do
this, and we're already open toit. We're not just gonna go through
(39:21):
our daily lives just open to whateveris around and gonna bombard us, right,
because that's no fun and it's nofun now, but investigating is fun.
So do you have new places linedup? Yes, I'm I have
locations reserved, and I'm I'm waitingfor production company and then we're gonna well,
(39:46):
once that takes place, then we'llstart filming in those locations. I'm
trying right now, I'm in theprocess of doing all that. So but
yeah, I'm basically the one whogets funds the locations and Ryan is fine
some really good ones that I canmeddle detect, and so I'm getting really
excited. So when we come back, Nick, are you going to be
(40:09):
at the Lone Star next year,do you think yes? So when fingers
crossed right, yeah, we go. We get back there in twenty twenty
five, let's investigate some place together. We'll add a day or two onto
the front of the back. Thatwould be let's do it about a live
(40:29):
stream if you want to from there, we can hook it up there.
That would be fun. G rA and just you know, it doesn't
have to be a whole show, but it could be kind of like this
and just this is us, thisis what we're doing. That'd be kind
of fun, you know. Itold I told Colleen when we were at
the expo in San Antonio, Isaid, you have got to meet Scott.
I was like, he is likethe coolest guy ever. I was
(40:50):
like, he has the coolest obswe got in there, Like he's got
cool candles. Funny, it waskind of funny. It was just it
was just fun. You popped upand there you were, you know.
And that's why I have the candlesbecause I used to read all the time.
But people aren't into that. Theyjust walk right by. But the
(41:13):
candles bring them up to the table. So at least I have somebody to
talk to, and I didn't needto read I didn't read. I didn't
even because I was alone and peoplewere talking about the candles and I couldn't
break myself away to I mean, there are awesome candles. What do you
expect? I don't know. Imean that was the first time anybody had
ever seen them in person. Itwas there's such a like a creative idea,
(41:34):
like the way they did y'all marketthem. You know, it's just
it's just creative. Well, Iappreciate that. I just didn't want them
to be dark or but but youknow, kind of fun, you know
what I mean. Yeah, thewhimsy, whimsical, kind of a quirky,
comical, you know, scary candle. Good good way to explain it
in a good way. Yeah, that's what I was kind of going for.
Yes, the names are I lovethe names. So it's exciting,
(42:00):
maybe, Frank, one of thethings we're doing too. And I don't
want to make this about me,but I'm going to tell you this because
I think it's kind of cool.People in the paranormal field are all about
raising money to help preserve some ofthese buildings that would have long been gone,
and it's the paranormal people that comeout and they investigate, and they
pay for investigations and these buildings stay. We have a place here, well
(42:24):
it's not really here. It's quitea bit north from where I am in
Vermont, and it's called the WilsonCastle and we have they They are just
the nicest people and the castle hasbeen in the family for you know,
decades, and it takes a lotof money to I mean, they finally
were able to fix their roof becausethey were getting water in and and people
(42:47):
go up there investigate. The placeis amazing. And so we have a
candle that we're launching in March justfor them, and it raises money for
so it's not you know, theyget they get to buy it at wholesale
and sell it, but they ifyou buy it off our website, then
they get a portion of that aswell, and so everything goes right there.
(43:08):
Well, maybe we'll maybe maybe we'llhave to do a ghost detector's candle.
Lighter, talk to me about that. I've got a really even better
idea. We can do a ghostdetector's candle and we'll get a little thing
that they can metal detect and findin the bottom of the candle. That's
(43:30):
what I like. That stick withme for all your marketing needs. I'm
on it. We got you. There you go. You know, somebody's
asking a question here, let's see. Uh, Stephanie is asking any suggestions
on paranormal equipment that is affordable andeffective. How do you guys feel about
(43:52):
that? A good question. Imean, honestly, like the roofs,
the best thing that's affordable would bean EMF meter and of course an EVP
recorder. I think those are thebasis of all paranormal first, you know,
for doing stuff that's inexpensive and youwant to get started. Flashlights also,
(44:15):
flashlight, definitely flashlight. But youknow, most of us walk around
with an iPhone or a gal youknow, a phone and there's a recorder
in there, and I've got someamazing things on my phone when i haven't
had an actual recorder. Well,I was going to say our sound guy,
alb which he's amazing. He he'swhen he's you know, hooked up
(44:37):
sound. He's had stuff come intohis microphone that we couldn't even have heard,
and he's learned how to filter itto where he can actually hear it
when he goes back and does theediting. So I mean, yeah,
I mean I've had that happen.I've heard some interesting stuff. Uh oh
yeah, listening to this stuff.Yeah, do you know what yea three
(45:02):
D glasses. So recently I heardabout people capturing stuff on their iPhones by
using the lens the red I thinkit was the red lens. So this
is something that's pretty inexpensive. Ithink I got all these off of amazons.
So our next, uh experiment, and and with photos and video of
(45:28):
what they can capture along with Sowhat you do is you cut out the
lens and you put it over youriPhone camera. Now I've heard iPhone.
Now, I don't know about otherphones or phone cameras, but I can't
wait to try this experiment because yeah, I've heard some amazing stuff. So
(45:52):
I'm going to be experimenting this weekand I will give you some feedback.
I've heard the red one. Buthere's something if you want to go down
a conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Idon't know how many of you are on
TikTok, but there is a certainthing to do with the old I can't
(46:15):
remember the mineral. I think it'sa mineral with a blue lens. Glasses
that were invented and they actually usedthem in a lot of secret military things.
I can't remember the name of thematerial, but look it up.
(46:36):
And they were using a blue lensand is it uranium? It wasn't uranium,
it's something else. So this issomething I guess we can all do
our homework on. I can't recallit right now, but it was a
blue lenses and this guy invented thisout of certain mineral and he made these
(47:00):
lenses and people were seeing all kindsof things in a different dimension. Oh,
I saw that on TikTok. Didyou okay? You got to tell
me about this gypsy? We should? All right, I'll send you some
and we're gonna do it on oncamera. So I'm gonna be playing with
(47:21):
this and let's let's let's capture someof this awesome. I'm all about experiments,
and it's speaking of experiments, aMilio that works with our team.
He is absolutely amazing with like outway out their theories this and that's what
I love about him as our group. Like he's not on right now,
(47:43):
but he's just amazing with crazy experiments. That's a good way to explain it.
With mirrors and all types of stuff. He's always trying to come up
with someone that uses a compass.Have you ever seen a compass get used?
Oh with the with polarity changes.Yeah, yeah, yeah, it'll
(48:06):
spin around whenever magnetic field charged thisatmosphere. It will also do that.
That's amazing. Gipsy, I needto ask you, is that wrapping around
those glasses that we're hearing? Yeah? Sorry, I was about to pull
on out. Oh okay, I'msorry. It's loud. It's like the
little old lady in the you know, and she's singing in the symphony right
(48:34):
right right? Sorry about that,No, no, no, no,
but listen. We have about fiveminutes left, so I want to make
sure we have time to let peopleknow where they can find the show,
learn about it, see future episodesthat are coming up. Tell us how
we can find ghost Detectors. Youcan find this on Facebook right now,
(48:57):
and then we have other plan forms. We're going to start basing things on
book. Right now, we're justkind of build up and trying to create
something, you know, We're tryingto get everything going. But yeah,
Instagram, I look really weird.Wow. Sorry, you're on YouTube,
(49:32):
so you can find me on YouTubeon zero discrimination, as well as my
website gypsydigs dot com. And I'msure we'll be having a Ghost Detector's website
soon and all kinds of goodies coming. So everything's still in the works,
(49:53):
but we've been working hard. Joshhas been working his tail end off getting
a lot of this edited and he'sdoing an amazing job. And then we
just got our poster done and itlooks amazing. I don't know if you
got to see it at the Paracon Scott, but is that the one
you sent me to use for theshow, because I thought the low were
(50:15):
fantastic. Yeah, yes, wehad that done and then we have we're
working on our awesome there yep.Yeah, but yeah, you can find
us on Ghost Detectors on Facebook andShadow Encounters Paranormal. Also that's the actual
(50:40):
our own you know, actual paranormalgroup that's working with Ghost Detectors yep,
Shadow Encounters Paranormal. So I'm sureyou'll be posting stuff there too about what's
going on. Yes, with everything, that's great and hopefully and hopefully very
soon we'll post our trailers we gotto right now, hopefully here in the
next couple of weeks we'll post thistrailers up for everyone to see on Facebook
(51:05):
and then on UH. You canalso check out my website, my own
production company at l g f KPictures dot com. You can see all
the other work that I've done onthere, and I'm hoping as the show
goes on that those Ghost Detectors episodeswould also be on there as well.
They'll be added more for marketing andwell was it again? L g I
(51:30):
F No, lg f K Picturesdot com, lg F Pictures dot com
perfect, excellent, excellent, Yeah, that'd be great. I mean,
you all come from such a diversebackground. That's what I just love about
this. You know, you getthe paranormal and the ghost of the medium,
and the video person and the metaldetector. That's great. You know
(51:53):
you have like a full spectrum team, do you do. I think it's
really is something that I've not seenbefore. Really, I've not seen this
concept at all, you know, just bits and pieces of it in different
places, you know, but nevernever in the same never in the same
place, which I love. It'sgonna be awesome to see us solid action.
(52:15):
Whenever anyone's gonna be able to seeit, They're gonna love it,
I have no doubt in my mind. Well, I have no doubt,
and I'll be looking out for it. I'll be checking it out, and
we'll stay in touch because you know, if you haven't friended me on Facebook,
please do? I know Ryan did, and Colleen you did too,
right, No, Colleen you did? You did? You did? Yeah?
I know I was connecting you withemail usually I just kind of sent
(52:37):
the Facebook message, but yeah,so so that'd be right great, stay
in touch so that we can findout how you're going. No, I'm
I'm so glad that you you reachedout and said something, because we are
booked literally into almost May now withshows and we just happened to have this
opening. So I'm glad we wereable to do it while it was fresh
(52:58):
in our minds. And and ifyou want to do a candle, let
me know, because I think thatwould be awesome. I'm so young,
and I'm the idea of having somethingput somewhere in the candle. I love
that you know. Several metal detectoriststhat I know do the bath bombs where
you know it's got the big balland then it's got a relic or something.
(53:20):
But I love the idea with thecandles. So that's that's definitely we're
going to have to do that.Oh yes, all right, folks,
I got to say, we've gotthirty seconds left. I just want to
thank you all for being here.Next week, I'm hoping Christina will be
