(00:00):
Are you pleasure lid? Welcome back to another pleasure
lid episode with Queen Patricia. This one is going to be Part 2
of my series of I am writing a book in 30 days.
Yes, I set myself a challenge towrite my first draft of my book
(00:23):
in 30 days. So I'm not going to like launch
and publish and do all of that in 30 days because that will be
crazy. While wonder if that is actually
doable. So I've given you my first
update after 10 days and now I'mgoing to give you my update
after 20 days. And I did not expect what was
(00:43):
going to be happening in this second part because I am based
in Australia and my area was affected by a cyclone, which is
pretty unusual for the area thatI'm in.
So we kind of had a almost a week I would say where we were
(01:03):
preparing and stressing about what will be happening and then
going through the cyclone and then the after effect as well.
Meaning I had extra challenge thrown my way within the
challenge that I fed myself. I had no electricity or power or
Internet for over 3 days and even the time before and after
(01:27):
was purely on managing and making it through because there
was panic buying. The shops were closed, schools
were closed. So it was wild and let me tell
you when you are 3-4 days without technology these days
and powered electricity that is a challenge.
I wasn't really able to write much on my book in those days so
(01:53):
I have been editing these 4-5 days on to the 30 days.
Meaning now the end of my 30 daychallenge would be the 1st of
April. Right now we are 20 days in and
I have written about 25,000 words.
(02:16):
I am almost three quarter of writing my book.
I'm just slightly off being on track.
But I'm OK with that because what I've also realized was
everything that has been happening.
I have been crying a lot since I've started writing my book.
(02:39):
I have softened. I haven't cried that much over
the last two years than I have been over the last few weeks.
And I truly believe that is verymuch connected with writing my
book and my current situation and coming to that point of
really birthing this message into the world and really about
(03:03):
connecting it all. It is the right time for me to
write this book. I am going through emotions and
really actually embracing them, working through them and I am
able to let go of them. So when you write a book about
(03:25):
something that is really close to your heart and it includes
your personal story, please expect that this will have a
huge transformational effect on your own journey.
I mean, I've heard about that, but I didn't actually believe it
would be happening. But now I'm having this
(03:48):
experience, it is almost like a rebirth, going through these
past memories, writing them down, writing them to a point
where you know they will be out in the world.
You will be witnessed with it, but using it in a powerful way
to really spread your message tohelp others.
(04:10):
Oh, it's such a beautiful, delicious way, but it also has
such a big impact. So I've been working through the
emotions and I feel like I'm finally in that stage where I'm
also letting go of it and I'm coming out as this such
beautiful butterfly. So really making this
(04:31):
transformation and in saying that I am actually OK where I'm
currently at. So I've taken a step back of
forcing myself to write this first draft in 30 days, but
rather focusing on the journey of what is coming out of it.
Instead of focusing on the outcome.
I'm focusing now more on the journey, going with what feels
(04:56):
right. And if I've got emotions to work
through and I need to take a break to actually feel it and
process it, then I will do so. Because this is also the point
of the book, that your life is ajourney and you want to make it
pleasurable. So taking away the pressure of a
certain outcome and rather focusing on on the journey of
(05:18):
exploration. So I'm going to implement and
embody that because I also want to infuse this book with so much
delicious pleasure for you. But don't worry, I'm not taking
away the focus of actually finishing my first draft because
This is why I actually set myself the challenge because
I've had so many people strugglewith completing their first
(05:39):
draft and then they never get the book up.
I have got that in my back mind. But now I'm focusing more on the
journey to actually really harness that beautiful,
delicious energy that is cultivated through writing my
book. And alongside that, I've already
spoken to a few editors and I'm exploring who I'm gonna work
(06:02):
with. And that is a really interesting
process as well. And I've seen the difference in
regards to how are they approaching me as a writer?
Are they willing to help me to really spread my message or am I
just another person who's givingthem a manuscript that they have
to edit, they're just doing the service and it's done dusted, or
(06:23):
someone really invested and might offer to really support me
to spread my message. So it was really interesting to
also start exploring who am I actually going to work with
because I think this really brings the right flavor and
energy into this book as well. There is actually a lot around
writing a book, especially if itis a self help guide toolkit,
(06:47):
something that is really transformative for oneself while
writing it, but also for the people who are going to read it.
Because when you read my book, this will transform your life to
make it more pleasurable. It will help you to unlock,
deepen and widen your pleasure potential.
I'm super excited to bring this book alive.
(07:09):
But on the terms of doing it thepleasure lit way, doesn't that
sound delicious? So stay tuned, I will give you
the next update after 30 days and we will see where we're at
with love and pleasure.
