teamed up with several small businesses andwe thank our business manager Lauren McCoy and
Molagnya and non the Immawayya for theirhard work and dedication. Without them,
(01:32):
so many of our efforts would notbe completed with success. We have been
very fast and moving in a reallygood direction. Our promotion of health and
wellness has been great, along withour swimming lessons with Lauren and our other

And miss Jennifer's and of all hasbeen a blessing to us, and
we thank her for always taking ourflyers and disseminating them and making sure we
always kept our bargain. And that'swhat we're all about, right right,
(02:38):
It's about, you know, experiencingthings. And you know, the internet
is filled with millions of information andflyers and notices and we just want to
try to reduce that information so peoplecan go to one place, take a
look at some items, some events, see if they want to participate.
(02:59):
And demand has been great and hasbeen growing, you know. And also
I just want to say that eventhe yoga experiences and the trip that we
had with one Yoga Global. Aspecial thank you to Alison Simms. She
was great. Thailand was phenomenal andI was able to meet so many incredible
(03:21):
people, and the weather was greatand just being with the elephants was phenomenal.
So we look forward to sending moreinformation about this. So now we're
just gonna just break it into segments. As far as the podcast, and
it's basically informational, but we wouldalways you know, solicit any information or

Caregivers and a new instructor also forthe National Alliance of Mental Illness, which
is not me. We have lotsof stories on our website. We also
(04:32):

social media Instagram, Facebook, andLauren, thank you just for managing that
so well. Thank you. AndI've been solely working on my manuscript on
(04:54):
our journey with mental health, andmy manuscript is complete. It's called Azel's
Daughter Shining Through Bipolar and we lookforward to sharing more information about that and
you can view more of my writingsat Liz callon Wrights dot square dot site.
(05:15):
We'll be sending out, you know, article information, news information,
and you can also see our blocksection at singletdo dot com. So that's
one of the things that we aredoing as far as segment one, and
you know, we just want tobe there and available, and you know,
(05:38):
we always try to highlight events thatare in our areas and other things
that's going on in Texas. Singleto Do will be focusing more or less
on local events and also things thatLauren will be working on specifically, and
(06:00):
we just want to just tie inthat we want you guys to check out
our website Single to do dot com. We'll be bringing a new health line
of makeup that's really health friendly productsand additional caregiving information. We want to
say a special thanks to our referralbusinesses that are actually listed on single todo
(06:27):
dot COM's referral page and they alsohave been very beneficial in with our events.
And those businesses are Luisa's Saloni Spa, The Hill Country, Highland Bed
and Breakfast, The Bunker Barn,Grill Realtor, Megan Parkovich, Darling Art
(06:51):
School, Barbara Williams, Insurance,Genesis, Transportation Services with the phenomenal Sharon
Baker, Relax Escapes, Travel Consultantswith Lori Threet and the Alchemy Attorney with
(07:11):
Victoria Bisard, and we are justso proud to be able to represent them.
You have direct links to their businesseson our website, and we have
a new Reggie Barlow her business aswell on Yes Yes, and we have
a new partnership with Gulf Coast TravelAgency Yes Reggie Barlow or Regina Barlow and
(07:39):
you can book travel with her atGolf Coast Travel Agency at Yahoo dot com.
We will also be highlighting her onour blocks block page and you'll be
able to interact and engage and justbe able to ask questions and we look
(08:00):
forward to that. That's something that'sthat we're working on. That's new,
Lauren, You have anything else youwanted to add well, saying that you
know, her article will be hittingtonight, so if you want to check
that out. And also her Facebookpage, Golf Coast Travel Agency is available

she's working alongside us. And shealso does live videos as well on her
Facebook page. Oh yeah, andReggie, she's great, you know,
(08:46):

doing some special promotions. And again, her email is Guffcoast Travel Agency
(09:07):

so all of that information will beavailable and you can access that at
singletodo dot com. Loss. Yeah, we're gonna move to segment two.
Segment two, we really just wantedto just give you guys an update.
(09:30):
We have received a tremendous outpouring andas far as Lauren's grand Full cookbook Grandful
Recipes Cookbook inspired by grandparents from aroundthe world, Yes, and it's been
amazing It's highlighted a lot of oursingle to do crew members that wanted to
(09:56):
insert their own family recipe, andwe're going to grow it. We will
be able to include some stories. We also included in our first edition a
poem written by Lauren to my mother, which was beautiful, and so you
can always purchase that under Amazon dotcom. It will be available and we
(10:24):
will be actually working on the nextedition, and so you can send your
submissions now through April fifth, andwe want to consider your recipe and send
a photo and your name, andwe'll be able to let you know if
(10:45):
it's going to be inserted into thecookbook and Lauren will be managing that.
Was there anything else you wanted tosay about the cookbook? Larn Well?
Currently it's twelve ninety nine on Amazonand it also is available in a kindle
version or a paperback, So whateveryou like, and just just know that
(11:07):
your family members are important and likemy grandmother was important to me. She
saved my life at birth when noone else could give me breath. She
took out a needle, stabbed mylittle heel, brought me back to life.
So I want this to be ameaningful book for my family and for
(11:28):
you to enjoy your loved ones andyour grandparents because we all know that they
play a major role in all ofour families. And one day I'll be
a grandma just like my mother andwe call her baby grand so she's jazzy
like that. Yeah, you know, being a grandmother a special and caregiver
too, a caregiver too, butbuilding a legacy and build building connections with
(11:56):
other people, that is is irreplaceable. Yes, you know, I have
had lots of clients with single todo that live alone, and we would
just want to let them know wesupport your efforts. So if you have
a recipe that you want to passdown to your children, Grandful Recipes is
(12:20):
a perfect place to put it.And I just I enjoy mine. I
mean every time I get a copy, I end up having to either sell
my copy or give it away, you know, And it's been a true
blessing. So I just thank youLauren for creating that and your vision with
that was just incredible. Thank youan honor to my grandmother in all of
(12:45):
our family members. Right. Good. So, now we're going to move
to segment three, and it's basicallya segment that is very dear to my
heart. Even though we have covereda lot of subjects and topics, we
(13:05):
are definitely advocates for children. Andalong with everything that we do, we
did make out the makeup time toactually teach and promote promote swimming classes.
And they were swimming classes for bothadults and children. And we just appreciate
(13:26):
all the people that were able tosupport it and participate. And it was
based on the fact of my combinationof support camaraderie with Live Like Kati.
You know, Live Like Kati isa bill that was sponsored by Texas House
(13:48):
Representative Vicky Goodwin and it was sheand she worked hard to get it passed,
along with Corey Dellapina and John Delapinion. And so I am proud that
we were able to offer swimming lessonsand there were several businesses that helped us
(14:09):
that I named earlier to make thathappen and we will share more information as
that bill information is rolled out.I will be serving on their nonprofit board.
And I just want to say thankyou Corey Dellapina for considering me and
asking me to do that, becauseit was an absolute pleasure. Because me
(14:33):
the reason why I am here todayis because I was able to survive from
a potential drowning. So I justwant to do whatever I can do to
help save a life, because ifit's just saving one life, it's worth
it. And this was one thingI'm very proud and I will always stand
(14:56):
behind at the SEE in this area. So thank you Lauren for being one
of our instructors. And Holly, you did an awesome job. And I
look forward to seeing some future Olypiansand swimming because the kids and the adults
(15:18):
they did so great and I'm justreally proud of that effort. Yes,
thank you. You know, Hollywas my role model. You know,
I became lifeguard certified along the waythrough all this, and man, the
many blessings from single to do justsprang forth, an abundance of possibilities that
(15:41):
are never end the never ending possibilities. Like I mean, I took a
college course in swimming intermediate swimming atUMHB acronym is Mary Harton Baylor in Belton,
and you know, years of past, but she brought it out of
me, and the old me thatwe all know sometimes goes away and comes
(16:06):
back does this and that. Butyou know, I'm glad to be here
vibrant and living the best of lifewith single to do and seeing the concerts,
traveling the world and talking about artand going to the arm The Armadillo
Christmas Bazaar was amazing this year.So just meeting Holly and having her on
(16:33):
my side just show me what alifeguard instructor swimming instructor is all about.
And how she handled the kids.I've always been great with kids and mostly
everybody, but she gave me adifferent perspective that I really needed at the
time. So I just thank her. Oh great, great, Lauren.
(16:57):
Well you did a fabulous job.And we will continue in twenty twenty four
to have additional offerings and we willput dates on our calendar and we're hoping
to grow and do it in othercities. And I just think that it
was a great program. We exemplifiedunity. It's not only for nonprofits to
(17:22):
help your community. At profit businessescan do things to help and this was
one of those efforts where we wereable to pull resources and just get it
done, you know, And itallowed me time to be able to focus
on what should our direction be.So it was about helping, it was
(17:48):
about information, and it's also aboutwhat we've always stood behind, which is
caregiving. And caregiving not only meansjust a an ailing adult, it just
means being available to be available.Yes, like we had we you know,
(18:10):
we had a client that touched me, and a lot of people touched
me as y'all will get to know. But not naming a name, but
he was a grandfather, a grandfatherthat cared about his grandson. Knowing how
to swim was the most important thingfor his grandson, knowing that sometimes he
(18:33):
would be on a boat or outin public, and wanting his young daughter
to know how important it is forhim to always have his life jacket until
he learns. And that's another thingthat I'm thankful for Kaddie giving our students
life jackets because you know, shedidn't have to, but as a business,
(18:56):
a nonprofit, she had those available. The grandfather he was, he
was an important role in this. But I got to see how a grand
parent loves from a from a distance, and to me as a young woman,
(19:17):
that opened my eyes to a wholeother world. Oh yeah, and
it's great. I mean, it'sgreat to be able to come together because
we live in a big world, you know, and we come across lots
of businesses, lots of organizations that'sdoing so many things like live like Cottie
(19:41):
Black Women who you know, Baker'sBrisket. I mean, there are so
many people that have donated and beenbeneficial to us as a community networking business,
and I just want to say thankyou. You know, we just
don't have all of the resources toname each and every one of you,
(20:06):
but we're trying to make sure thatyou know that we notice your care and
your conscious effort and we appreciate that. We want to continue to put out
good information and share information. That'swhat the goal is, put out information,
share information, and Lauren, youhave done a phenomenal job with that,
(20:30):
which now you will allow me anopportunity to focus on the writing aspect.
Yes, and I look forward tosending you guys a lot of information
about different articles, different subjects thatI'll be writing on and I just look
forward to doing that. And sonow I'm just going to just go to
(20:53):
section four, where we will getan overview from our business manager, Lauren
McCoy and Milwaanya, and I justturned it over to you, Lauren,
for you to tell us what toexpect in twenty twenty four and I just
I'm so proud that you have doneso so much work. And you know,
(21:18):
with running a family, being anew mom, having a job,
we still take out the time tolove our community and our people across the
world. And we have so manyconnections in Africa, different parts of Africa,
and we just want to say thankyou also to our family and in
(21:41):
Nigeria. We also have connections inHawaii and certain parts of Asia and all
across the US, but you know, special shout out to everyone in Texas.
And the last thing that I wantto say before I turn it over
(22:02):
to Lauren is that we now haveSingle to Do Louisiana and we will support
them one hundred percent. So youguys feel free to join that group Single
to Do Louisiana and we're building Singleto Do DFW, and we just think
(22:22):
that it's important for people that's intheir area to know what's going on where
they can just do a one shotglance to see if there's something that they
want to take part in, especiallypost COVID, because we do have to
stay safe, we do have tobe cognizant, and it's just good to
(22:44):
know what's going on and if otherpeople are experiencing things, is it's safe
for me to do so? Andso Lauren Segment four, you got a
girl well Segment four. I justwant to make sure everyone knows how I
feel about therapy, and it's notgoing to take long. I feel like
(23:08):
everyone should get therapy if you needhelp, especially post COVID. I myself
have a wonderful therapist and I'm ableto talk out things that normally your family
doesn't want to hear all day, like they just want to take a break
themselves. So it's good to talkto someone and set goals with your therapists.
(23:30):
And if you have a good one, they're going to give you goals
for the new year. They're goingto give you different avenues if you're a
student, if you're a mom,if you need to work out. So
that's just one thing that I wantedto put out there. But for the
end of my segment, also,I want to mention how thankful that I
(23:51):
am for all of the community andall of the business owners that have worked
alongside me, the Chamber of Commerceand Lacla Vista and my dear friends,
just to name a few, Donnaand Nandie and Elizabeth and love. They
all played a crucial role, Jennifer, all of those people, and there's
(24:14):
so many more that I could mention. Todd just so many more, John
Baker, everyone came out during thosetimes that I had to run an event.
Or Liz, my mom, shecame up with great ideas that I
had to turn into a digital format. So into a digital format, so
(24:36):
Iron sharpens Iron. We're always studyingand improving, and we're on all social
media, so you can check usout on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, and we alsohave a link tree slash single to do
so just in case you don't wantto go to all of those different avenues,
(24:59):
you can just go to link andall of our links are in one
page on your phone. So we'vetried to make it some seamless fun ways
for you to incorporate your life withus and get to know our mental health
blog, get to know our travelblog, get to know the technology piece.
Call me if you need technology help, if I can talk to you
(25:22):
over the phone. We can makeit through this together. Just like as
a whole community, we work besttogether. That's what it is. We
don't want to leave anyone behind andwe don't want anyone to feel unwelcome when
they come knocking on the single todo chat line, because if we don't
get in touch with you, wewill get in touch with you. So
(25:44):
I just want to say for theyear twenty twenty four, we're going to
continue with the wellness bit, whichis what is your goal? What is
your goal today? Are you goingto get up earlier? Are you going
to sleep in? Are you goingto sleep in and didn't work out?
Are you going to get up earlierin workout? So that's what I'm working
on. So I'm excited for that. That wellness like workout tips. You
(26:11):
know, we send recipe ideas becausewe're we have a cookbook on Facebook and
we have a cookbook on Amazon. So we're big on the love of life,
the zest of life, and howto bring it to the older generation
and transfer it to the younger generationbecause we don't want to lose that community.
So we want to know what's thetwenty twenty four year look like.
(26:34):
Well, I can tell you it'sgoing to be about wellness. We are
still dealing with our dear friend Eski, who is a young entrepreneur and she
is a writer herself and well,we have a podcast we want to work
(26:56):
on with her, and we havea podcast with Reggie coming up and single
Deduced podcast is always available on Spotifyand a spreaker and iHeartRadio, so you
can listen to us whenever you wantif you feel like it calms you.
(27:18):
Don't forget. Mom is very Elizabethis very good at talking and de escalation
because as you know, she hastried from state farm, which is a
tremendous, tremendous advantage to the singleto do business. And I'm very thankful
to have her with me. Soshe's an a team member and she's able
(27:47):
to focus more in the community andto be there for others that have been
here for us. So and Isay that much to say that she's a
giver. And so this business ideawas because she cares about people and she
wants to help people, just likethey've helped our village and helped me grow
(28:08):
into who I become today. Sowe have a lot to look for,
like the podcast, like the wellnessblogs, like thanks to Improve Yourself,
ways to improve technology for you,Well, we have it there and we're
(28:30):
also working on, like she said, on our cosmetic line. And so
we're like chemists in the lab rightnow. So just be on a lookout
for the memoirir Azel's Daughter, amemoir from Elizabeth Colvin known as her writing
name Liz Colvin. Be on thelookout for the next Grand Full Recipes cookbook
(28:52):

yourself. Any any last remarks,Yes, love yourself, be yourself.
(29:15):

have sold their merchandise under Single toDo, We appreciate you and best shoals.
