Melanie is a registered nurse an entrepreneur with a deep
passion for helping people feel better, look better, and perform
at their best. Her journey into functional medicine began when
her soon to be ex husband went back to medical
school to specialize in the field. Rather than standing on
the sidelines, Melanie immersed herself in the learning process, setting
alongside him, conducting her own research, and pushing herself to
(01:44):
master the intricacies of patient care. Her practice is unique
in that she takes a highly personalized approach, treating everything
from weight loss and lifestyle changes to a specialized procedures
like penal enlargement.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Get into this. This is what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Girl about it?
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Like four times I.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Was like, is everybody get really caught up?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
And when I come, when I come into you, I've
got thirty seconds to come in, come out, whine.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
A little bit, and then you know, why, why what
a bit?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
We all love to wind. But what I didn't even
know you did this in your practice?
Speaker 1 (02:25):
What does that mean? And what how does it look?
Speaker 4 (02:28):
You mean physically? How does it look?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I mean, how what do you do like to walk
me through starting with the penis.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yes, I think I read it.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I read did I read this?
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Very interesting? Okay, so you know you can add girth
some length.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Wow, are you guys listening? You can add girth and length.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
They're not they're doing one of these. But a lot
of the men like to say they want to be
donors and that they're good.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I mean, what do they What do you do in medicine? Yeah,
we're so excited.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Well, it's proprie tory.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Is it like a boob job?
Speaker 4 (03:02):
No, there's no implant, but but they do get help
from outside of their own body. Let's put it that way.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Wow, so.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Different substances that I'm putting in. What crazy?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And do you have a lot of clients?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Uh, it's confidential. I mean not a lot. I wonder why,
but it's it's you know. But let's just say men
are interested.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Well I can imagine because if I was a man
and I was very small, I would want to do something.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
I mean it's men that aren't even that small.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
But really, yeah, oh my god, you can do anything
these days.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Amazing.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
But you know what, let's think about this as a woman.
I mean, I got a boob job, and I felt better.
A guy can do the same.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Listen, women have been getting vaginal rejuvenation for decades. Wow,
why do we have to have the babies tightener vagina?
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Right?
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Why don't you? Why don't you enlarge?
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Exactly, I act while you're at it.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Exactly. It's so true. It's like the craziest thing. They
don't have to do ship, but now they do.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I'm so glad. Let's pass the word.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Well, trust me, when they come in, I'll let them
know I'm but I have. And they just drop their.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Drop their drawers and showed him.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
And most of them do it just to mess with me.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
I'm like, this is inappropriate, but I don't understand how
to do They don't you need to see it get hard?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
What you know?
Speaker 3 (04:37):
How do you know it's not big because there's always
small and it's not hard.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
You must not have seen too many in all sizes
and shapes so hard.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
This is fucking great.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
This is this is the best thing I've heard all day.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Well, this is really good.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
I really want to know. Also, she's often we almostop
laughing the all time. I know, Okay, nad though, because
I've read a lot about this, and I don't know.
It's like the new thing, right, everyone's saying it's supposed
to help with like skin elassies.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, you need to explain it, all right, let me
explain twenty second form.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
First of all, it's not new. It's been around for
I don't know twenty five thirty years that we've been
using in the States. But we started using it for
addiction because it flicks off It flicks off addiction from
the receptors in your brain. When I started studying it
for allzhemer's because it controls the violince sheath and your neurons.
But we've just figured out along the way that it's
good for all aging. It turns out something called your
(05:39):
Curtuin genes, which is your aging genes. Wow, but it's
responsible for a thousand different reactions. It's something you already
have in your body, but when you're around thirty five,
it starts declining it. So it's something that you need
to boost for longevity and overall general well being.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Okay, and I will tell you I was like, this
girl's bullshitting me, But until today I was like, Wow,
everyone thinks they look younger.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, well, you know what, It's popular for a reason.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
I know, and you look on our instagrams, everyone's like
nad n ad, and I even asked, what the hell's
na D?
Speaker 4 (06:12):
I know? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
So is there a difference between getting an IV and AD?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Oh great question.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, so this is kind of a complicated question, but
I do it all. I import it from South africause
they can't do it in America. But so an injection
is a small boost that just goes directly without having
to filter through your liver and all those things. But
it comes back down again, So oral INNAD don't ever
get it offline because it gets destroyed in your gut instantly.
(06:41):
Say that mine is a special formula that comes in
a bullet casing. I've seen it too. Yeah, people say
they feel like they're swallowing jewelry. But it bypasses your stomach,
gets absorbed in your intestines. So that keeps the levels
up on a daily level. So if you if you
want to go boost it even higher with an IV,
which is a thousand mildrams, usually then you keep your
(07:02):
levels up with the ORAL.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
So and what is it good for? Like brain clarity?
Speaker 4 (07:07):
I've heard that absolutely, you hear that all the time.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Yeah, you should read some of my testimonials. They talk
about I'm gonna start taking it.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I'll be a testimonial myself.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
How old are you?
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, she's like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (07:19):
You don't need it yet?
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Calm down's girl? I mean no, not yet, calm down.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Yeah, I would save your money.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Wait, yeah, trust me good.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
So I'm sorry, but I have to get into the
whatever the hell I'm taking it works on this girl
doesn't work on me.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Ever, we're talking about you were on.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah, I have to get there because which is the
same thing. I am.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
The other one on that one for a little bit,
And I mean I did lose the significant like you know,
what do you mean you're like a stick? Yeah, I
mean it worked for me, it doesn't, but I know
there's a lot of like why does it work for some?
Speaker 1 (08:06):
What am I doing?
Speaker 4 (08:07):
So? Unfortunately, every human bank being has their own set
of genes, genetics, and epigenetics, so everyone reacts completely different
to every single molecule on the planet. I wish that
it was everybody just was like her, but there is
a cohort that is very stubborn and some it just
does not work at all. So maybe you're just one
(08:28):
of those people. But you've started losing I think this
last couple of weeks. I don't know if that's the burberine.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Or the couple. Yeah, I'm like one pound a week.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, well that's more than you'd probably do on your own.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
And and you know, I mean I people like talk
about this like there's like two I don't know either.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
People say it's like so bad for you and they
don't know what happens, it's going to cause all these issues,
or people say that like I've heard it's good for
like addiction. People have addiction and like withdrawals and all
that stuff. So from like about diance perspective, what's all right?
Speaker 4 (09:01):
So let's clear that up. So we've been using versions
of these four decades and a very sick population obese
type two diabetics, right, So if scary things have not
come out in all those decades with that sick population,
and now we've got the entire world on it, I
mean the entire world and doing stupid doses, like high
(09:24):
high doses, people that don't know what they're doing. They're
getting it from their trainer in a gym, and it's
still not that scary. I think we're good. But it
does have a lot of collateral benefits, like inflammation. It
gets rid of the centers in your brain that make
you compulsive, like eating. But it also works for sex
(09:47):
addiction and alcohol addiction. I felt it myself.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
I stopped vaping like when I was yeah, and I
could all stop vaping for like ten years.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
I've had people that stop smoking, that's right, So it's
good for that. It has a a lot of good
benefits to it. It makes your cells not stick to
your vessel walls, which we all need. That's good. It's
like one of the biggest things you can do for longevity.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It's interesting because that's why I came to you, because
I know, I went to someone that just like gave
it to me like it was a drug deal. And
then I was like, okay, I don't know what to
do with myself, of course, and I was a mess. Yeah,
you know, little, I did see little by little, but
I like how you do the whole thing, like you know,
the aging process, the diet. And she kept saying the
(10:31):
same thing to me, where's your eating log I'm terrible
at following directions. That's probably why.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Is it, Like a high protein is really good one.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
You're all that, yes, absolutely, Oh yeah, so let's talk
about that. Yeah. So when you lose weight any way,
you lose weight, doesn't matter what you're doing to lose weight,
you can and will lose muscle. It's all kind of intertwined.
It's not separate. We're not just oh, here's my muscle
over here, here's my fight over here. It's somewhat interert wined.
But to reserve as much muscle as you can while
(11:03):
you're losing weight, because your body will want to snatch
the amino acids out of your muscle and shrink your muscle.
It's just the way it goes. Then you you increase
your protein and you lift weights and you won't have
a problem. Interesting. Yeah, I mean, look, you want to
do cardio for your brain and heart, but it's not
(11:24):
for weight loss.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Interesting really, And I feel like for a long time
that was like the main thing.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Everyone says, run, well, it helps, but think about how
many calories you're burning. We don't even consider counting calories anymore.
We've just evolved in our knowledge over time. Like if
you weren't alive, probably, but in the nineties it was
fat free fat, right, and we would just eat packages
of frozen fat free yeah, exactly what.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
We throw fat free yogurt.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
You would go to the yogurt store and get the
biggest fat free yogurt, and I'd be like, oh, yeah,
I'm going to lose weight.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Exactly. Now we know it's all not all calories still
do matter. But one hundred calories in a doughnut is
a lot different than one hundred calories in a filet, right,
So your body reacts differently to those two substances. It's
all about not spiking your insulin because the serum of
the glucose goes straight into fat cells.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
So when people go off sorry, yeah, I know when
people go off of like whatever.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Any of these times a great questions.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Like I found like for a while I didn't I
started to get cravings again. How do you recommend, Like.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
That's a great segue for your burberine.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Well, yeah, but let's just start at the basics, right,
because everything starts at basics, and then all these other
little crue timents like my berberine is something to help,
but the basics. So the basics are while you're losing weight,
why all those cravings are being tamped down by the
gop one. That's why I work so hard with my
patience to change their palette during that time. So I
(12:57):
don't let anybody have any of sweetened anything. If sugar
is their.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Problem, yeah, that's a nightmare for me.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
If it's potato chips. I look at their food log
and I said, okay, you had potato chips at five
o'clock three days in a row. What's going on at
five o'clock in your life. Let's figure it out what's
triggering you to do this. So you're learning about food,
your triggers, what works with your body while I have
you on the GLP one. Interesting, then when you come off,
which I wean you off and start figuring out, okay,
(13:27):
where she's slipping?
Speaker 1 (13:28):
La la la.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
I don't let you just go.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
I don't like.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
I don't just cold turkey. But a good way to
maintain that glucose stabilization that you were getting from the
golp one is my burberine. So those two things together,
my patients don't get their way back.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
So you asked the question for free right now, what
do you need to know about after you've been off
of it?
Speaker 4 (13:49):
That was the question.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Answer.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I kind of was spacing out for a second because
I because I don't follow the direct I.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Know, yeah, No, I think it's good to know.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Also I think working out, which is a big part
of it, just like muscle mass does. When you start
losing weight, you lose muscle too.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
And I feel like that's why I broke my foot
when I was on the tri epazoid or whatever and
I was on seven point.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Five but I was weak. Yeah, but I was on
it for a year. You have to do it. Well,
I'm going through a divorce. I can't talk about that.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I can't talk about it.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
No, No, okay, Well do you love your career or what?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
The reason I became so popular is because I was
working with the molecule the peptide before ozimpa came out
and I got a lot. I get a lot of
celebrities like ready for movies, and I became like this
undergrounds weight loss person that can take you to the
brink of death for a movie. Wow.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Can you share any of those or no?
Speaker 4 (15:02):
I mean you'll just have to go on my Instagram
because I can't remember who is vocal about it and
who isn't. Yeah, most aren't.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yeah, I mean, that's true, but it's great that you
can do that, Like you have the ability to do that.
And I can see why because when I came in,
I was so frustrated. I was like, this girl's never
gonna be able to help me either. And I literally
started to just like today, honestly, or last week when
I said, oh, I would weigh this, and you go,
(15:30):
you lost two pounds, But to me, I was so pissed.
I didn't lose six pounds, seven pounds, like, well, this
shit isn't working, and you were like, calm down, or
it's step by step for some people it is. And
that's like with anything in life really. You know some people,
I'm always on speed russishing to the next thing. So
(15:51):
that with your health, no, that's really cool, Like all this.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Stuff benefits like overall well being in mental health as well.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Think I hear that, and I think it's because your
brain uses glucose and when you stabilize that and stop
pinging your brain with glucose up and down, up and down,
and you just feel a little bit more steady. That
makes sense.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Yeah, Well, you've done such great things for people and
giving back to the community and to individuals what is
on your radar, your next bucket list?
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Well, right now, I'm building a telehealth so that I
can help people, you know, easier all over the country.
And I treat people all of the country now, but
it's more difficult, and I'll be offering just a lot
of different things prescription wise. And I love my supplements
because it's inexpensive way to do these things, right, everybody
(16:46):
has all this money, Yeah, exactly. So that's really jeered
in my heart is people that can't really afford a
GP one right or tolerated. Some people can't tolerate it right, right.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
And let's go back to that Berberine stuff that I
just started. So what's the percentage that that's working for you?
Speaker 4 (17:05):
I'm shocked at hell. Well it's working really. Yeah. The
feedback feedback has just been amazing. Like I even had
this lady who was type one diabetic started Andy told
me that she could stop taking her insulin because it's
controlling her glucose. That it's crazy, it's crazy, that's crazy.
And then I have so many gop one users who
(17:29):
have topped out on the ozimpic and the and mondour
ros and who have just not lost a pound exactly
and frustrate and I put them on the barber and
they're losing two pounds a week. Now, Wow, it's shocked.
It's plant derived.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, and you take it in the morning and at night.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Yes, And you know what, Honestly, I'm so sensitive with
drugs and I don't feel any thing.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
No, it's not like a stimulant.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
No, it's it's but I don't care.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
I feel every time I took something that had to
do with the diet, I was always.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
Like, yeah, you know what I'm saying. That's why I
made it.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
I know that.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
It's really cool that you're I mean, I know how
passionate you are. And you know, listeners, if you don't
know her, you got to check her out.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Can you tell them how to get a hold of you.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
Well, my website is the word twelve dash the number
twenty eight dot com. But my instagram is not even
not easier. It's the word twelve, the number twenty and
then the word eight again twelve twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
And trust me, if you're looking to be so healthy
and take care of yourself, naturally, she's the person to come.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
To, right.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Thank you, you're welcome, Well, thank you for being on
the power.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Thank you for having me yes also, I love you both.
Love you
