I mean that's not me, Sothat's great. But I was watching
one of your clips and the reasonthat I connected with you is because something

that is very dear to my heart. You know, I own a big
staging company. I tell my girlsall the time, you have to connect
with your clients. And what wasyour clip saying, Yeah, you have
to get personal with your clients.You have to really hone into you know,
you have to care and you haveto you have to talk with them

with understanding and empathy and really trulygenuinely care about them. And that's just
so hard to find, especially realestate, because people are just like move,
move, move, ready on thenext thing, ready on the next
transaction, the next paycheck, andit's like, oh do you want this,
I'll do like this. I waslike, or text an email.
And I feel like a lot ofrealtors at least are like in their ego

and don't find that connection with theagent with the buyers. So I think
that's really important. And you're sayinglike you like to ask them about their
life and all of that, andin staging as well, we really become
a partner to you, so wewant to really get to know the person.
And one of my no nos instaging with my sales girls, I
tell them, do not hide behindthe phone, do not hide behind text

messages. Go see them, Yeah, take them for coffee, like,
get to know them, don't juststage. You know, we do a
broker's caravan so you can meet withthem, you know what I'm saying.
So it's very cool. So howdid you get started in your career?
Oh my gosh, that's a loadedquestion. Well it was not planned.

(03:50):
I did not wake up one daythinking oh I'm going to be a real
estate agent. I was actually inthe beauty industry for ten years well before
getting a to real estate, andyeah, it does it. Oh,
thank you, you're so sweet.So but I'm really thankful because God has
really truly set up everything in mylife in the order that it was supposed

(04:14):
to to gear me up for thenext level up in my life. That's
amazing and powerful. Say that again, I don't know what I just said,
that God set you up. Yeah, I got the next step,
yeah, you know. And it'sso important because I really believe that these
journeys are written for us. Yeah, I really believe that, absolutely.
And I'm so thankful for my tenyear career of not just doing hair,

but I was also working in nightclubsas a bartender, and I was in
bottle service, all the things right, and it really built my people skills
and exactly the hard work obviously thatcomes with it. But being in hair,
it was like, you know,I was working for my well,
eventually I was working for myself.I started off be like an assistant like

most people do, and then youyou know, level up to working for
a salon that like pays you hourlymaybe depending you know, things like that.
So I was able to build upto a point where I was able
to open my own salon suite,and so it was teaching me how to
build a business, run a business, numbers, creating a book network,

(05:24):
but a network, right yeah,Now I was. I was when I
right when I opened my own salonsuite in Newport Beach. I was brand
new and I made little flyers andI went door knocking with those flyers.
Hey I'm a new barber, AndI say, yeah, so that so
powerful. And then I would evendo free haircuts right smack dab in the
mill Maycy's Yeah, And I wouldjust give out free haircuts and I would

be like, hey, you know, twenty five percent off your next haircut,
things like that. And that's howI built my business because you had
the hustle. Right yeah, yeah, I'm saying yeah, and that's really
important. Today's aid. Please Itell my girls too, and people that
are out there, it's important tohave that hustle. Still. Yeah,
where do you think your hustle anddrive comes from? It came from having

(06:10):
nothing. And I have quite thestory, but you know, I was
a single mom and I had noother means of income. I don't get
any child support, never have,never will. So I had to figure
it out, you know, Andso I didn't have a choice really,
But I think really where it comesfrom is even as a child, I

(06:34):
didn't have much. My parents werealways working. They were either middle class
or completely broke, and so Isaw both worlds and I just knew that
I wanted more. I'm like,I don't want to settle for this.
No offense to my parents. Ilove them very much. They're they're hard
working, but it's like very corporate. They go with the rules, they

(06:55):
don't make as much as I knowthat they could. And I just don't
want that life. I want biggerand better and you know, and I
just want a better life for myson. I don't want my son to
grow up with the struggles that Idid, right, and so, yeah,
so I had to figure it out. So I had that And I

(07:15):
did have multiple jobs at one pointbefore I got into hair. So I
really got to a point where Iwas just, you know, having eight
nine, ten hour days cutting hairon my feet. My hands were hurting,
my feet were hurting, my backwas hurting, and I'm like,
I am too young for this.This is this is this, It like
this can't be it. This can'tbe it. And I was happy and

(07:36):
I loved what I did, butI loved connecting with my clientele, and
so I'm just like gosh. Andover time, you know, my clientele
actually started kind of exposing me toa different world, the world of luxury,
and I was like, wait,what is this? And I've never
been in that, Like I grewup in Orange County my whole life,
but I've I've on one side.There's different levels of Orange County. Yeah,

(08:00):
there's different levels of Orange County andI was definitely in the kind of
lower So you know, I waslike, you know, what is this
lifestyle? And so I started gettingexposed to more luxury real estate, boats,
really luxury like luxurious cars, andI'm just like, I want to
be a part. How do Ibe a part of this? So I

(08:22):
had multiple clients tell me you shouldget into real estate, and I'm like,
at this point, I'm a barber. I started off as a cosmetologist.
I'm not good at women's hair atall, So I'm a barber and
I'm just like, what, Like, I don't even own a laptop.
I was just like, I don'tknow anything about real estate. No one
in my family has an experienced inreal estate. One of my family members

(08:43):
own a home. A couple owna home, and that's it. And
I came from yeah, I meanthe rest of my family, they're on
Section eight housing. I grew upon wig like food stamp, So I
just I didn't know anything about thatlife. So I was like, you
know what with me and my girlfriendas kind of like, hey, let's
do this class together, let's justget our real estate license together. And

(09:05):
it was more of like a let'sjust do it for fun. I ended
up getting my license, she didit, and I was like, wait
a minute, Okay, so nowI have this, I should probably utilize
it. And so long story short, I became an assistant for a top
producer at another brokerage. The bestthing to do it was that was God

(09:28):
because for me to find a teamthat not only hired me as a new
agent that had no experience, butalso be an assistant to a top producer
and I was making a percentage offof whatever he was making, it was
like boom boom, boom boom,like right into it. And I'm just
like and most people that are newagents don't have that at all they had,
like this was planned for you onehundred percent. Yeah. So I

(09:52):
I you know, I became anassistant for about a year or so,
and then we started buddy hands andI was like, okay, my prize
started kind of like kicking in.I'm like, okay, I could do
more than this. And so,long story short, I told them I
wanted to be an agent on theteam. Yeah. They actually denied me.
They said it didn't have room forme, and so there's a point

(10:13):
to this story. They denied me, and so I was like, okay,
well then I'm just going to gokind of see myself elsewhere. And
so I could have kept going asan assistant, but I knew my worth
and I saw my worth and Iknew that I could do it, and
I was not going to settle forless. That's amazing. And so literally

(10:33):
the day after, I get aphone call and a voicemail saying, hey,
you know, if you want tocome back, you can start training
you as an agent. That's incredible, And I was like, and then
I didn't answer right away, andI said I would think about it because
I wanted to like make them sweata little bit. And where was that
that was down in San Clement,this south south south of Orange County.
Yeah, so of course I wentback. So where am I going to

(10:56):
go? And so back and sixmonths in. I mean, here's the
other thing, and this is forany age new agents. Now, if
you can find a team that haslike a mentorship program, they hold you
accountable. You're you're out in thefield, You're not sitting in a class
right notes like you're they're making youlike that's the best way to learn the

(11:20):
fastest, true. Yeah, Andso they did that, and so they
also had like a lead generator.So all I had to do was is
focus on the things that I loved, which was interacting with the clients and
the family right and closing it wasremaxicos to homes. Yeah. And so
but the team that I was onno longer is a team. And a

(11:43):
lot of teams I found out arenot doing Lee Generation. A lot of
Yeah, I don't think anyone it'sreally doing Lee Generation anymore. Yeah.
It all went downhill after Zillo basicallybought the MLS. It all went downhill
because it was like Zillo leads andthey were he was I mean I think
he was paying like thirty grand amonth. But he was bringing in leads

(12:05):
and all we had to do wasclose them. And so I was doing
like one to two deals a monthand I was I mean, I saw
money I've never seen before, andit was I was living. And then
six months in Netflix reached out Wow, and I was like oh, and
at first actually said no because yeah, because I asked him, I'm like,

(12:28):
well, does that mean I haveto leave my brokerage? Like well,
yeah, you have to join theOppaheind group. And I said,
Okay, then I can't do itbecause I'm very loyal. Yeah, and
I knew that they took me inand they didn't have to. They took
me under they wing and they taughtme everything that I knew, and so
I just felt like, you know, I just I had a I had
loyalty to them. I had Okay, so tell us how did the Oppenheimer

(12:50):
Group get So, without saying toomuch, things started happening at my brokerage
that was not good for me.It was it was it was time.
It was time for me to moveon. And so I was like,
you know what, this is ahuge risk because I knew joining the Appenheim
group. I knew that they oncewasn't going to offer what they offered,

(13:13):
meaning no general like I would haveto start over as an agent, different
area, right. I was scared. So that's you know, listeners,
if you are listening, she's onthe top of her game and someone saying,
come here, be in Hollywood,start over, but you have to
start over. What would you do? And let's hear what she did.
Well, I took the risk.But here's the thing, I'm so used

(13:37):
to starting over. I was comfortable. Yeah, I was like, you,
I'm kind of used to this.You know, Let's see what happens.
So you know, I was like, Okay, well, let me
just entertain this and see what happens. Because honestly, I didn't think I
was going to make it. LikeI didn't think I was going to make
it on the cast. I mean, there was thousands of agents that were

(13:58):
and didn't ever want to be inTV before this. You know, I
did grow up as a as achild, I wanted to be a singer
and actor and dancer and all thethings, you know, like I think
all of us really wanted it.But obviously that diminished when I became a
single mom at the age of seventeen, and so I had my son when

(14:18):
I was eighteen. Wow, Soyou know, it just kind of just
went out the window. And Iwas like, well that I have to
figure this out because trying to pursuemy dream of being a singer, dancer,
actress, it's just not gonna work. I just can't. I just
can't as a single mom. Soso let me jump forward. Now you're
in this show and you're talking aboutyour son. I want to know,

(14:41):
because I raised my kids as asingle mom, how is your son handling
this? Now? Oh he doesn'tcare, right, He's like you whatever,
But like you know, he's inhigh school and so everyone is just
like, how's your mom? Hewas like, showed up. Man.
He's very protective. He's very protective. And the girls, the girls,

(15:01):
I don't know if you want toget into this, but high school kids
right now, a lot of themare just like, I don't know,
I think they're just it's very tough. Yeah, but well it's tough because
of Instagram and yeah looking and theydon't I mean, it's it's not real.
Yeah, yeah, I explain whatyou're trying to say. I'm curious,
Well, because all the girls havelike a huge crush on me.

(15:24):
I was like, oh that's sweet. So they'll like, you know,
they'll give him a tough time,and like even his teachers and even principal
really know about the show and aboutme, and so they're just like they'd
be like, oh, you're highcelebrity. They call him celebrity and they
give them a hard time, butlike they're cool about it. It's not
like, yeah, it's not weird. Of course he's a boy, so

(15:46):
like the boys would be like,yeah, I see how your mom for
me, you know. But overall, he's just he just wants me to
be happy. Yeah, he doesn'tlike it. When he saw me cry,
he was just like are you areyou good? Like I'm like,
yeah, trust me, I'm good. He's protective. Yeah, yeah,
I'm very protective. So he justwants to make sure I'm good and happy.

(16:06):
And I am, absolutely I am. So that's great. Yeah.
So you're on the show and you'redoing your thing. So what First of
all, are you coached by anyone? Do you have a personal coach for
real estate? Yeah? For realestate life nothing. No, No,
I don't have like one on onecoaching, but I do go on webinars

(16:27):
and seminars as much as I canfrom different brokerages. I have biweekly phone
calls with my mortgage guy, sohe like kind of gives me updates on
the market and what's going on,patterns, he's noticed things like that.
So I definitely stay up to Yeah, I stay up to date with everything
I have to. That's part ofmy job. So I do stay educated.

(16:49):
I learn about the latest newest innovationscoming out, and I stay on
top of it. So yeah,so I don't know. The real estate
market to me is it's just beenlike crazy lately, just going up and
down, Like where do you seeit going in the next three to five
years. I think it is goingto get better the end of this year.
I think the interest racer getta lower. I really think that the issue

(17:11):
that we're facing is just they're notbuilding enough homes fast enough. That's the
problem, really, and so Ithink people are starting to realize that,
hey, guess what, You're nevergoing to get two percent two and a
half percent interest rates ever again.Yeah. So when they hit like six
seven, people were freaking out becausethey're like, oh, but if you
look at the history history, theaverage is eight percent, So it was

(17:34):
still below average, right, soit's still pretty good. And then you
know, so, but here's thething. You buy real estate and hold
it. Just buy it and holdit. But that that don't wait and
then buy it because that's where youbuild long term wealth. Okay, that
that's just a fact. So andhere's another fact. I can't really speak

(17:56):
for other markets. I can onlyspeak for OC. OC is always going
to go up. That's just afact. You're paying for lifestyle, you're
paying for safety, you're paying forthe best weather. Just like, what
is it? Yeah, the samething. Yeah, the LA market and
the OC market. Which is greatquestion. Well, the issue that we're
facing with LA right now is youhave that tax man, that mansion tax

(18:17):
right now. I mean, thesales have gone tremendously down. I think
it's no joke. I think itwas like down eighty percent. It's absolutely
insane. Yeah, And so wesee it a lot because stage those right
exactly, and they're sitting and myinventory is sitting out there. Yeah.
And the reason for doing it isbecause they said that they were going to
raise a certain amount of dollars,right, and that was just not the

(18:40):
case. So LA really messed upwith that, so hopefully you guys get
rid of that. But what wesaw was people started moving their money to
OC so that was kind of goodfor us. Sorry guys, but I
was in Florida. Yeah, yeahtoo, it's like yeah, oh yeah,
Texas, Yeah, yeah, forsure. So what type of homes

(19:02):
do you do? And do youwork with staging company? I do work
with a staging company. And howlong have you worked with them? Probably
only about a year and a half, maybe two years? Actually, yeah,
yeah, I had I've been througha couple of staging companies, but
just because you know, Jason likescertain staging and so we go with whatever

(19:23):
the two that he uses. Yeah, and what do you give you,
like vendors, like specific vendors thatthe brokerage you have used. No,
no, no, we don't haveto use certain vendors. We can use
whoever we want. Really, atthe end of the day, we are
solo agents, so it's our choiceat the end of the day, so
of course we'd always want to gowith the best. So yeah, yeah,

(19:45):
And so how do you see howmuch do you think homes go up
once they're staged? How much percentage? Like do you get a lot.
When you stage, you get overasking. Absolutely, Oh my gosh,
yeah absolutely, that's when I stilloh god, That's why I'm say asking

(20:06):
that because a lot of when Istarted the staging company sixteen years ago,
there was you know, not verymany companies out there, but I made
it. I did it so thatpeople it's not the thing about staging,
it's not design, and that's whatpeople are getting confused about in twenty twenty
four. It's staging, but wewant to make sure that the house,

(20:29):
you know, is smooth all theway through. But it's also about the
communication with the agent right the homeowner, you know, the pickups, the
social media and all of that.Yeah, and you're giving the buyers a
fission because they don't have they don'tbuilding that emotional connection to them exactly that
you want to get them to apoint where they say, you know what,
I want this home, but Iwant everything else in it. You

(20:51):
want them to imagine them living there. That's the bat point when I still
see agents like putting properties out onthe market and it's empty. Yeah,
it's crazy. I'm like, areyou saying what you have to show them
how big this space is? Especiallyif you have darker walls or wider walls.
Is it to make bigger or smaller? Like you have to give them

(21:12):
a vision because buyers just do nothave enough mass. That is so,
what are like the top three thingsyou do when selling a house, like
the to get it hied. Yeah, well, definitely anything that needs to
be fixed around the house, that'ssuper important. Right. Renovations is super
important too, Like you have tomake sure you got a nice kitchen,

(21:33):
you got a nice master bedroom andbathroom. Those are like the top like
yeah, right, so that renovationsnumber one. If you can, if
it's in your budget, absolutely getyour renovations done, Get put some paint.
Paint can go a long way.Yeah okay, and you can get
really good work done for really goodprices. And painting can upgrade your whole

(21:56):
house. We say this all thetime. Just painted white, ye look
bigger? Absolutely, and then ofcourse staging you guys. And then landscaping
is also landscaping. Yeah, landscapingis a big one. Well, of
course it depends, it depends onwhere it's at, but landscaping is huge

(22:17):
because it's just missing you when whenobviously you sell when they're living there,
so you do make sure that theydeclutter and get rid of all the yes,
declutter and getting all the personal right, all the photos and like some
of them go a little crazy,and there's like photos like in between,
like all over the walls. I'mlike, we got to take all this

(22:37):
now, but like a beautiful onephoto, minimize, simplify. Yes,
you're yeah, absolutely, the lessis lessons more exactly exactly. And then
I one more thing that just reallymakes a huge difference. It's just warming
the place up, adding plants andstuff like that. Definitely, that really

(23:00):
does make a difference. Right,Well, that's good. It sounds like
your career is going amazing. Sotell us a little bit about your coaching.
Yeah, so I do have agroup coaching program right now. I
have a few one on ones justdue to my time. My time is
so limited. But I do havea grouch a group coaching called Breakthrough.

(23:22):
It's a six months coaching program.It's bi weekly calls with me, but
we're also in a group chat whereyou literally have access to me daily and
so you know, I send overwhatever it is that we're talking about through
the coaching and just like you know, motivational stuff or you know, words
of encouragement. I check it weeklycheck ins like what's your week, Okay,

(23:45):
what's your new weekly goals this week? Nice? And then holding them
accountable. We have a book ofthe month and we talk about the book.
And then also I take them toas many events as I possibly can,
because I go to a lot ofthem. I took some of my
clients to aspire that you guys,that's past one. Yeah, and they've

(24:07):
never been to an event like that. I mean no, I thought it
was incredible. I was driving mecrazy on the way there. I was
like, you're gonna love it,trust me. We had to get up
so early. She's not an earlyperson, and I'm like, just get
dressed, let's go, and shewas like, Mom, forget the coffee.
You got to get here. Now. I know. I was inspired.
I mean, just living in aroom with so many people who are
also like there for the same reason, people who are just I mean all

(24:32):
motivations. Yeah, that's what Iloved. It was all kinds of people
from finance to car to whatever,and they were so glued to you guys,
and it was like wow, Imean it was seriously incredible. I
haven't been to one since Tony Robbinsin oh a minute, So it was
it was great. Yeah, reallyreally scrtedy. Absolutely, if anyone can

(24:55):
experience events like these go their lifechanging. They really are. They expand
your mind. You learned so muchfrom the best, so it's incredible.
Yeah, that's why I asked you, because I have four coaches personally.
Yeah, so I asked you ifyou have any coaches that inspire you,
or books or people that inspire youlook up to, you look up to

(25:18):
what drives you. Yeah, well, it's funny you mentioned Tim where it's
actually my mentor to. He's theone that helped me actually put my whole
coaching program together. Amazing. Yeah. No, he's absolutely incredible and he
you know, kind of feeds intomy son a bit, which is so
so kind of him. And hewas there at the Spire event. Yeah.

(25:41):
I bring my son as often asI can everywhere I go nice and
so, gosh, this is puttingme on the spot. I have quite
a few. I don't I'm notgoing to name them just because it's very
personal and even if I did,I don't think you guys would know who
they are. They're more closer peoplebecause for me it's like, you know,

(26:04):
I've been in business a long timeand when I started, there wasn't
a lot of women entrepreneurs. Sowhen I would go on stage, which
I just did a event and Iwent on stage you know, years ago
with Santiago from the agency, andit was very different. And so now
it's so inspiring to see all ofyou guys and women being you know,

(26:29):
coaching and doing as much as theyare. It's really really inspiring. You
should be very proud of your soul. Oh thank you. Yeah, it's
it's really nice to see. Andyou know, my daughter's generation, it's
like blowing up. You know,they're really like twenty five. Okay,
yeah, okay. So it's justit's you know, for me, that's
why I do all this to giveback and then just to like wind down,

(26:53):
like you know, we're very we'reall about giving back, you know.
So I have a store it's calledthe leadmeson dot com and it's an
online store. So the reason thatI did this is because I have a
staging company, right and we've stagedover fifteen thousand homes all over Los Angeles
and people would always say, Iwant this, but I don't want this.

(27:14):
And I was like, forget aboutit, I'm going to open up
this store. And when I partneredwith the Midnight Mission, I realized that
by me people buying on my store, I can give back. And this
Christmas I wrote them a fat checkand they were like they came and had
lunch and they were so excited thepeople that run it, and it was
like, Wow, that fills myheart. And it seems like you've been

(27:38):
around that world. What fills yourheart? What fills my heart? Helping
as many people as I can reallyand I get really really passionate about that.
That's why I'm here, That's whyI'm on this planet. Like everything
that I'm doing is for others.It's not about me. Yeah, And

(28:00):
I love that. It wasn't alwayslike that though, Yeah, because I
because I because given my story andeverything I've gone through, I was an
angry little girl for a very longtime. And it to go from being
so angry and having all these wallsup and not getting close to anyone,
trying to protect myself in my heartbecause of all my abandonment issues and depression

(28:21):
and all the mental problems I've beenthrough, to be able to get through
that heal from that and have theability to give. I mean that that's
it made it all worth it forme. And being a parent is so
yeah, we do it all forthem. Yeah, I have a son
too, and there's seventeen months apart. And like when I was a single

(28:41):
mom, Yeah at six years old? I how old you guys? Six?
And second I had to do itall my free stop counting. Yeah,
I don't know how old I am. I definitely don't know how old
I am. Let me tell youthat I keep forgetting. I'm like,
I don't know, but it's true. That's really incredible. It's nice to
see such a strong and beautiful anda great soul on our show. We've

(29:03):
completely enjoyed any last questions for thisbeautiful soul. One thing I was just
thinking is like you talk about likegoing through a lot in your life and
like dealing with all that. Howlike I've been through my own kind of
personal stuff. How did you dealwith that and like come to the other
side of like your mental health allleaysmy goodness makes sense. I think you

(29:23):
get to a point where you're sobroken and you hit rock excuse me,
you hit rock bottom, and therereally is no place other than and I
just I had I had to surrenderand I had to give up to try
to control everything, and it raninto that. Yeah, it really wasn't
until I just realized that this it'sjust it's not about me, it's not

(29:48):
about me, and that I hadto heal. And it took a lot
of so many years. I mean, I I would say that this is
what I say. I'm healed,but I'm still learning. I'm still unlearning
old habits, the old bad habits. Yeah. Yeah, So because we're
at the end of the day,we're human, and I think it's important

to give ourselves grace when you do, like mess up hundred it's okay,
right, it's okay. And alot of people unfortunately don't do that.
They beat themselves up. And evenif people outside don't know that they're beating
themselves, yeah they are. Andthen eventually what happens they crack. Yeah.

(30:32):
And I would definitely say learning selflove and know and learning to forgive
that was the biggest one for me. When I started learning how to love
myself, I had to start withforgiving others and and learning to forgive myself.
That's another piece of a lot ofpeople don't understand. That's one you
have to forgive yourself. And soit's a it's a journey, and I

(30:57):
know everyone hears out all the time, journey. It's not a destination,
but it's the truth because at theend of the day, we are all
sinners. We live in a verysimple world and we're going to mess up.
And that's okay as long as youtake it back and be like,
Okay, I got this. Ican learn from this, I can move
on from this and learning to embraceadversity learning because at the end of the

(31:19):
day, life does not get easierever ever ever told you that, Okay,
it gets easier. It doesn't.When you get more, it gets
hard, but you get stronger andthen more is like challenges come your way.
So you just learn to build callouses. Then you just be like,

(31:41):
Okay, now I know what todo. Anything that comes my way.
I'm like, yeah, I gotthis. Like me being homeless, like
literally sleeping in my car with mybaby in the back seat. You can
throw me on the streets right now. I'm like, okay, I got
this. You can literally take allmy money away, I don't care.
I got this. Everything I owemy car everything. I will get up
so quick, like it won't evenphaze me. But that's what you need

(32:06):
to build that And that is justgonna say if you're listening out there,
that doesn't come right away. No, you've obviously done a lot of work.
But look at you can do this. You can get there. It
just takes believing in yourself, lovingyourself, and doing the work every single
day and you can be like this. Yeah, so that's really cool.

of like real estate obviously, becauseeveryone knows on realtors, so you gotta
sprinkle in real estate, and ofcourse reality because I'm on a realistic reality
show. So it's just like,you know, a little bit entertainment,

just because like vulnerability, there's somuch power and vulnerability. So it's just

it's a beautiful way to like alsojust you know, connect with others and
share their stories because there's so muchpower in sharing your story. And seriously,
