(00:43):
Oh my gosh, it's been awhile. I know, how have
you been. I don't know.I see you all the time, I
know, but they haven't. Iam so excited about today. I'm so
excited because we you know how I'mall about women empowerment. Yes, and
we have so much going on theModern Day Woman event. It is going
to be so exciting. I meanthe last one we did that cool video,
(01:04):
but this time we're really involved withamazing I call them Instagrammers forgive me,
influencers, influences you want to calleach other. Yes, that's that's
cool because I love Beverly Hills nineO two and zero. Anyway, I'm
so excited because today we are goingto talk to Cassandra McClure, the trailblazing
(01:27):
force of the industry with the proventrack record of creating and launching multiple thriving
ventures from the ground up, includingLashbinder, the Clean Beauty Kit, the
Clean Beauty Show, and Clean BeautyCon event platforms. She's the alley for
women redefining their presence in the industry. But the best part about it is
(01:49):
Cassandra shares her wisdom to empower womenfor lasting success and we're going to do
collaborating with her. I am soexcited. Welcome. Cool, Like I
have my own show and we doa lot of like it's like from the
phone, So this is like legitstudio. Awesome. I have you here
(02:13):
and like, you know what thebest thing about networking is, I just
spoke to you yesterday and you werelike, let's do it. I literally
changed my flight to be here earlyand invited another girl who would benefit like
and that you guys should meet.So I mean, I'm a connector.
That's great. And we have anotherguest too. We have it doctor Sean
Taul Lunderville. I'm very excited totalk to you. We have She is
(02:37):
a woman health specialist, Board certifiedphysician, medical director de Spause and holistic
practices throughout California. Thank you somuch for being here, Like welcome holistic.
That's amazing because I went to Igot black toxic mode not to start
off, and I went to anioretic doctor avedik, iovedic whatever, see
(02:58):
ID say all the names wrong, and she was amazing. She's the only
one that cured me. I'm noteven kidding. I went to a million
Western medicine. Now nobody could helpme. Well, we can get into
that later. But as a woman'shealth specialist who came out of UCSF,
I felt like I was trained inlike the best technology, you know,
the most cutting edge things, butthere was still something missing about wellness holistic
(03:19):
care. So I've been able todo that as medical directors work with these
practices, with natural path doctors, estheticians, just full of mind body practitioners
that are women and really take careof women a lot better in my opinions.
That's how we connected. She reachedout because she's like, I need
to know more about clean beauty andbring that into these spas and salons.
I started consulting with her and evenmet one of the spas that's in half
(03:43):
Moon Bay, so her clients goall over and I'm working with her.
She has a podcast too, soplug lifting in. Yeah, well this
is you know what I want togive a shout out to modern day wife
because if it wasn't for them,we would have never met. And that
it's all about networking with powerful women, which is what I have done for
(04:04):
so many years. You know, nobody had stages and I wanted to teach
them how to be stagers. Andyou know, it's so nice to meet
women like you guys, and haveNicole meet you guys. You know,
to change the world. Really.Yeah, so tell me a little bit
about yourself. Yeah, so,I by profession, was a makeup artist.
(04:28):
I'm from Seattle, but when Iturned eighteen, I literally the day
after I moved to LA and wentto beauty school in Hollywood. Wow,
because I wanted to be a makeupartist, and I worked my way through
school. I acted and modeled onevery set you can think of. I've
worked with Chris Brown and Nicki Minajand yeah, I was if I couldn't
(04:51):
be in front of the camera,I was in back doing makeup and I
just was so hungry to get myfoot in the door. So from there
I started working and getting internationally, like people that saw me on a show
or something call me and say, hey, can you do my makeup?
(05:11):
In Italy? So I started doingdestination weddings and then I was the first
stylist to ever go on tour withthe PGA. So I toured with the
European Tour for a year in fiftytwo countries and I was the Yeah.
Styled all the women, all thewives and women on tour in India,
Dubai, Africa, everywhere. Andso I got to travel the world and
(05:32):
they asked me, do you wantto go again? I said no,
I'm moving back to Seattle. I'mgoing to open a little salon, and
like, I lived my dream. That was my dream to travel the world.
So I got to do it inmy twenties, which was really cool.
I came back and I started teachingartistry. At that point, I
taught a school in San Francisco, and I started to build my own team.
(05:54):
So I had an artistry team ofabout twenty women before COVID. That
year before we did one hundred andfifty weddings in the Bay Area. You're
so ultimate motivator. Yeah, SoI was training the girls from scratch,
having them come work, and alot of them would always say like,
why are you doing this, andI was like, I wish I could
(06:15):
have done this. No one gaveme these opportunities, so for me,
I was always giving back, likelooking at them like, oh, I
wish I had that. So yeah. So then COVID hit and I and
I was starting to have health issuesat the same time. So my husband
was like, you know, youshould go to Stanford, go to the
doctor. So I went to thedoctor. They were like, you have
(06:39):
all these different allergies, and youhave you're you have psoriasis which never goes
away, and you also have anautoimmune disease, and you're you're allergic to
all these things. So you needto like get all these things for your
home. And I happened to goto this women's event and this woman with
cancer, with breast cancer was talkingabout how she couldn't fragrance and her doctor
(07:00):
told her that going through chemos shecouldn't use fragrance products. And I said,
what do you mean. Everything inmy house has fragrance in it,
like my candles, my shampoo, like all my victorious secret Like I don't
think there's anything that doesn't have fragrance. So she was like, well that
can you know dampen your immune system. And I was like immune and I
had kind of put the words together. So I went home and I was
(07:20):
like, I didn't even know whata detox was, but I was like,
I'm gonna put all this stuff thatI use in a box, like
my tide, laundry, detergent, everything. I'm gonna put it under my
desk. I'm not gonna touch itfor a few days and see if that
does anything. Because I was onthis medication, I was going to the
doctor getting shots, like for allergiesbecause it was so I had red bumps.
(07:41):
I was and in three days,I was breathing better, I could
see better, I lost part ofmy vision I was, I was sleeping
better, I felt lighter, myinflammation went away. My best friend was
like, did you want to dietbecause of my redness? And I was
like, oh my god, I'mallergic to this stuff like my Chanel and
(08:03):
tom Ford how But my husband's like, all right, you need to stop.
You're working weddings every weekend. You'rein all these rooms with all this
perfume and hairspray, and you comehome and you're knocked out, like your
immune system's messed up. So youneed to like focus on your health,
like we want to start a family. So I was like, Okay,
(08:24):
how do am I going to dothat? And I was like, I
need to look into this clean beautystuff. So this lady who told me
about Beauty Counter, it's like anetwork marketing company. I join just a
trial the makeup. I built organicallya team through that, and I started
advocating for clean beauty. And Iwas just like, how is this a
thing that in the United States andEurope they're way ahead of us, which
is weird to think that in theUS there's no regulation on fragrance and it
(08:48):
can have anything in it. Andso there's stuff I was using everything from
China that was literally making me sickand poisoning me. That's crazy with really
like products that I was spending aton of money on. And so everyone
was like, what are you goingto use next? Because I was already
an influencer and a makeup artist, and people were like, well, what
are you gonna use? What areyou gonna use, you know, like
(09:11):
for your deodorant, what are yougonna use for shampoo? Wow? So
my husband's like, you need tostart a show and start like figuring out
what you can use this professional gradethat you can recommend to people. And
I started having I built a communitybecause I started talking just by myself in
my room. I didn't know whoI was going to be talking to,
but my husband was convinced that ifI looked for it, other people were.
(09:33):
So I had thousands of listeners, like overnight, people sending me emails
saying I had this problem to ohmy god, thank you. What are
you using? When are you havingan event? How can I meet you?
How can we connect? So theClean Beauty Retreat was in twenty twenty
February twenty eighth, like a weekbefore COVID was announced. So I had
(09:54):
a retreat. It was sold out, it was featured in Forbes, and
I got all these women to getthat were on my show, like the
founder of Juice Beauty, doctor doctorBarbara Pualdis, who was a scientist and
created her own clean skincare line inher sense, organic beauty, who's at
our event tomorrow. I'm still workingwith them to this day because her story
(10:16):
is similar. She had she wasa hairstylist, had a baby with a
genetic disorder, and so she createdshe created a clean product line. How
love it? How can someone knowthat that's what's happening though, like because
you have to really just sometimes youknow. It's interesting because like people,
I've compared it to smoking in away, you can smoke. Some people
(10:39):
smoke their whole life and they're fine, right, and sometimes you're sixty and
it catches up with you and youget cancer. I caught it. I
feel like early I did. Itechnically disease. My psoriasis went away.
I never had to go back infor another allergy shop. So I went
a holistic route essentially in Clean Beautybecause it was like really crunchy and not
(11:00):
even cool at the time, andit wasn't even high performing, but it
was like, all right, I'mjust gonna sweat all day. This doesn't
really work, but it's at leastnot making me break out and making me
comfortable. So we've come a longway since six years. So yeah,
here we are. And so fromthe podcast Naturally the Clean Beauty Kit,
which is my box I brought foryou guys to try everything. Let me
(11:24):
tell you, this girl is aproduct tours. No matter where we are,
she's buying products, different products.I don't even the modern days swag
bag I am obsessed with. I'msure she's going to tell you, but
every time, let me tell you, my skin goes back to normal.
If I start using all this differentstuff and it starts acting out, it's
(11:45):
about makeup. No, I'm talkingabout the skincare. It's so crazy.
So what happens with that is youyour body gets used to something. This
happens with coffee with me. IfI don't have coffee, I get a
headache. Coffee is not coffee isthe most processed. Then you know,
it's like sugar, sugar. Ilike sugar. If I don't have it,
(12:07):
I get a headache. I haveto take a nod bill if I
can't find coffee. So is itgood for No, it's not good for
me. I've just a super hydrated. But it's a good example of some
people have only used some things forso long that their skin just doesn't know
any different. And it's you doneed to detox. You do need to
go through a process of letting yourskin heal or clear. I mean,
(12:31):
you know a diet takes how longbefore it actually you see results and things.
Your your skin might go through aprocess of actually breaking out first because
it's so overwhelmed and it's had toxicchemicals for so long. That's funny because
I did the detox with Marta fromSyria. Do you know who she is?
Yes, unbelievable woman, by theway, she's unbelievable. And she
at first I'm laying there, She'spouring oil on my head. I'm like,
(12:54):
what are you doing? This isa disaster. He's doing all kinds.
They said they're going to give mea massage. It was no massage,
let me tell you that right now. It's awful. So seven she
would come in the end, how'sthe princess doing? I'm like, this
is supposed to be enjoyable. Thisis hell to me. But she's the
best. She's like incredible and thathard part of getting through body just kind
(13:16):
of like that discomfort, right,Yeah, I mean that especially. I
have a question. So in deodorant, like everyone's talking about. I knew
you were gonna ask about this usinglike free deodorant, Like what does that
do? What is it is thata thing? Well, as women,
we have important parts next to ourour you know, and we have these
(13:39):
glands and they're active and so arewe can get breast I mean, it's
been, there been, and there'sbecause aluminium and certain things have been linked
to breast cancer. Uh, Alot of companies have come out with like
cleaner alternatives without Yeah, like,I'm actually lurked to w let's let the
(14:03):
listeners know. What do you use? I'm always trying new things, like
as a creator and as a hostof a show and all of these things.
I get sent a boxed product everyday to try. So right now,
it's called Biotic. It's like anew brand that I found a cosmoprof
this past year, and I loveit. I don't sweat too much.
It's it's like pretty clean, andit's like a doctor backed and so I
(14:26):
like those like if it's germatologists, like tested approved, if there's real people
working on it, and it's notlike because there's a lot of private label,
right, there's a lot of whitelabeling and a lot of greenwashing and
misinformation out there, and it's hardto cut through the noise, right,
And so I think that's why Ihave the credibility I have, because I
(14:48):
will I'll call a brand out andI'll be like, well, yeah,
Kylie's a billionaire bought her product wasmade at color Pop Cosmetics, like it's
a private label brand and a lotof people don't know, like that's crazy
that she didn't actually formulate her product, you know. And so that goes
the same with all brands, Imean clothes, shoes, everything, and
and with beauty especially like everyone wantsto have their own lipstick line. It's
(15:11):
all made at the same three labs, repackaging and made with ingredients that aren't
that great that are mass produced, just like our food nowadays, tour the
not natives. Is that air one. I believe that one of my spas
(15:33):
in Newport Beach, I'm gonna plugthem, Callie Wellness. She's super stringent
on which brands she brings in verylow talx aesthetic practice. And I tried
their deodorant. It's like non toxic, no aluminum, and I had to
purge. Like they were like, you're gonna sweat a lot. I feel
like that's what happens, right, you sweat so much. I have masks
(15:54):
to you can do. I've seenthat after two weeks. I like,
my sweat production is so and really, but you have to do the two
weeks you have wedding. You hearthat listener and make sure you guys know
that. What do you smell worseat first? Yeah, I gotta know
you're releasing all of the toxins. It's like if you'd never work out way,
(16:17):
it's all the cap that's stored andso yeah, so you do that.
Make sure I'm not around all right? Yeah? No dat yeah,
no, definitely not no data.He talks a week. Yeah, exactly.
So I have to know about likebotox and filler. Everyone I don't
know. I feel like people sayit's really bad for you, and especially
(16:37):
made from it. I mean, also, wait, I have another question,
So, like preventive botox is thata real thing? Okay? And
when should they start? Like myassistant, she's thirty, She's like,
I'm getting boats on. Man.I was twenty two twenty four, and
I'm I was in my early twentiesbecause I was in med school. I
was frowning and studying, and Inoticed that my line between my forehead or
(17:02):
my brows was not going away, and I'm right, how do I fix
this? And then my durm puta little bit of botox. I was
so scared to get botox, andafter I did it, I was so
happy with the results and it wasso easy that that's kind of where I
was like, I want to dothis for women. Itself is not I
mean, it's a toxin, butit's a highly purified not a good thing
(17:22):
for it. I know because Iuse it. But it's not related to
clean beauty. It's not at all. I would say. There are some
studies around filler. That's because whatfiller does is it separates in when you're
metabolizing it. It goes from ahigh molecular weight protein into low molecular weight
and a high molecular weight protein, and then the body processes both of those
differently. The low molecular weight proteindoes have a risk of turning into an
(17:47):
inflammatory response. So that's why wehappened to my friend. We don't want
group for that. Yes, wedon't want to ask within three weeks of
like a vaccine or having a respiratoryinfection, or even working out, even
identical cleaning. Yeah, working outincrease the risk of infection all that.
(18:07):
So I think that's what people don'tknow about, which is really interesting.
And if you're already predisposed to likeautoimmune when things that are pro inflammatory,
it's definitely something you want to thinkabout or avoid. That's yeah, I
tried different. There's two different typesof fillers, right, It's like Jupiter.
There's most of them. Most ofthem are hyaluronic acid palmers, and
(18:29):
then there's also something sculpture, whichis really just sort of promote your own
collagen. I probably like this, that's the response that you want. Yeah,
okay, because I have people whoare always asking me, like what
filler should they get? Because Igot my lips done and don't know,
I don't really know anything about it. Why why? All right? You
did your two? Yeah? Three? You're beautiful, but aren't there Like
(18:55):
I feel like we have to likedo what we want to do, not
dry. I didn't want to haveno lips. Oh god. Okay,
so you guys are on the modernday wife. Tell me a little bit
about it. Cassandra. Well, actually Cassandra brought it to me. I
started working with Cassandra what like threefour months? Yeah, really recently.
(19:15):
She's been such amazing. I'm tryingto take my business from a business of
being a doctor into more of abrand where I get to speak amazing and
on a course. Yeah, soI launched a very cool of course,
just helping nurses and new people thatwant to get into the medspot industry to
launch super quickly and save time.Oh wow, So we strategized ye to
help me get She she came andwas like, I don't really know what
(19:37):
to do, and I'm like,well, I don't know a ton about
your industry, but what does everyonethat you consult with need? And it
was actually pretty simple. We justdid a survey, she said, out
a survey saying would you rather goto a retreat? Do you want to
do a course? Do you wantto like? What do you need?
And all told her exactly what shewanted it. What was the answer.
The answer was they wanted either amastermind, so they wanted to be in
(20:00):
a group together like form a communityand horse who doesn't want antally And that's
so similar for every female brand, right, It's like, we want to
form a community, have a helpfulproduct that does something like save some time,
right, makes them feel better whateverit is, and doing it together.
I think this is incredible because whenI started my company, there was
(20:21):
not a lot of women trying toeach other. This is what this is
what I'm saying. Amazing. Yeah, when you called me, I was
like, what does this girl want? I know when you said, I
have chills, like starting to cheerup, Like I love connecting with people
and I've always empowering girls, alwayspower especially in shelter, like all you
(20:42):
know. I mean, I couldgo on and on and on, and
they really didn't have this. Andso when I first did the Modern day
Wife, I was like, Okay, what is this? And I have
naturally thrown events for ever getting everyonetogether. I'm more the merrier. Even
when I was married, you knowthe first time. Don't ask me how
(21:03):
many times it. I always hadthe most beautiful women around me. Yeah.
Now I have the most beautiful stylesaround me. People are like,
are you crazy? You're engaged andyou have your fiance. I'm like,
the more, the merrier. Wehave to lift each other up. And
so when I met you on thephone, I was like, this girl's
authentic. You're real. You're reallyabout helping people, which I am so
(21:27):
grateful to see and especially your age, Like thank you well done. I
mean, that's it's amazing that Ibrought you here too. Yeah, we
had no idea about you. AndI was like, I know about five
hundred people in LA. I feellike if I just tell her she'll actually
come. I did, like literallylike I landed and was like, all
(21:48):
right, I have like an hour, Like who else can I can we
bring together? I'm so excited.I feel like people that don't know about
modern day wife people ask me allthe time. I say, it's like
a network. You need to getthem on the show. You please help
us tell everybody. Sure. SoI also was an an event host.
(22:08):
So from my first retreat, thefirst question was when are you having another
one? I started planning a conferenceand bringing more people in the industry together
and introducing them to the consumers, essentially their customers. Like the brands wanted
that. So I hosted a lotof events for brands like Juice Beauty and
Innercense launches and all sorts of things. And when this girl, Sonya Pagonia,
(22:30):
who's also a host at this event, she sent me an email was
like, hey, do you wantto be an influencer for this event I'm
doing? And I was like sure, Like that's while we're on the totem
pole. For me, like youknow, when people ask me to like
share do influencer stuff, it's fine, I'll do it to support someone.
So I said yes, and thenwe had our call with the girls and
(22:52):
Meg goes like, oh, tellme about yourself and I was like,
oh, I used to do makeup, I do this, this, this,
and she's like all right, well, if you have any one to
refer to to us, let meknow and I'll like I'll give you a
kickback. And I was like, okay, Well, I'm just going to
send you a couple of emails andthen like she called me the next day
and she was like, you sentlike twenty five emails like who are you?
(23:14):
And I was like, oh no, well, these are all the
brands that I'm working with right now, like they'd be great for your event,
like they all want a network.I'm not hosting my own events right
now because I just had a baby. And she was like you look right
hello, and so she was likecan we have another call and I was
like sure. She's like we've beenreally trying to grow this company and like
we just got five brands from youand like we don't even know you,
(23:37):
like who are you? And soI said, hey, I have this
show, I have a box. Some of my brands were just in my
last One of the things that youdo is you respond, So she sent
me like five six, seven influencersand Dasha connected and you're the only one
that responded, Oh she's Austler,Yeahsler. Yeah, that's what it is.
The thing I tell my girls allthe time, You're never know who
(24:00):
you're going to meet, so youdon't I don't pass up opportunity to get
out see what's going on, youknow what I'm saying, because you never
know. I have done things allover the world that I never thought I
would do, but I ended updoing it. And we would go speak
you know, staging, and itwas so much fun. Yeah. Sometimes
(24:21):
it's a bus though, and youjust love every experience as an opportunity.
I love failure amazing, Yeah, amazing. And so it's a mindset.
I was like, I want tohelp you guys. And so they had
the first event and doctor Barbara Pauliswho I mentioned earlier, she was one
of the brands that went and poppedup at their activation. I brought in
my friend ron at Luna Essence. She spoke on stage and this was smaller
(24:45):
in the Bay Area, and theywere like, we didn't have like we
had five hundred people. We wantedmore. And I was like, you
guys really have some ambition, LikeI love it. Like they're like,
how can we get more people? And like how can we partner at the
next event? And I was like, look, I specialize in clean beauty.
I introduced you to clean beauty brands. You're essentially working with a lot
of people that a lot of brandsthat I can't use. And they said,
(25:10):
well, what if we gave youyour own beauty section and you hosted
it and brought in your brands. And I said, yes, of course,
Like this is this is essentially Iget to have my own event within
you know, because they set itall up. You know, now that
I have a kid, she wasstill under eighteen months and I was like,
I didn't have the capacity to planmy events like I was usually planning
them. So I said, let'steam up. For sure, not making
(25:33):
as much money as I was doingplanning my own events, but I was
like, if I can help themand they see the value in me,
I'm also helping people so many people. This is this is real, You're
not They've switched on, Like oneof the you know founders was losing her
hair and uses inner sense now andit's like they've seen the results, and
so they've given my brands a stagethat at any other event, like I've
(25:59):
been to the other conferences. Theycharge fifty one hundred thousand dollars to be
sponsors, and they give my indiebrands a real platform and real connections to
magazines, podcasters, these this communityof people that are interested in it.
So my brands have come on andnow I've been on tour with them for
(26:22):
the last six months. We didScottsdale, Arizona. We got Dyson,
Oh wow, right to partner upwith Innercense, my haircare brand. Oh
that's incredible. Yeah. So that'swhat I've done as a strategist is I'm
just taking these opportunities and making thembigger and giving them a beer platform.
And you know these are at allluxury hotels around the country and they bring
(26:42):
in luxury partners. I've already gotthem featured in magazines and on TV,
and so there is a benefit. It's sure, it's an investment, but
you're that's what you got to doif you're a consumer facing brand. Yeah,
like I'd be excited about our collaborate, Yes, exactly. You know,
it's so funny because this world isnot my world at all. I
(27:03):
can't stand it actually because I wasnot. You have to elaborate on that.
I mean, she doesn't like Instagramand that stuff because you know she's
not do it, you know, knocking on. She's like very old.
You know, I'm very old.She likes picking up the phone. She's
like texting you know that. Ilove that. Yeah, I'm very old.
(27:23):
When you called me, I waslike, this is my jam.
People want to send me emails andI can do that. But it's like,
but that's why I liked. Iwas walking around in the backyard in
the sun, and I just likeI can actually talk. Yeah, that's
why, Like on Elite Mason ourstore, we have a person like Nicole
that will actually FaceTime you. Yeah, you have a personal time. I
(27:47):
saw your virtual consults and I'm like, I'm doing it. And we also
I'm excited about our collaboration. Iwant to learn from you. It's so
exciting to learn from somebody else that'san expert. So we also have a
Mindful collection where it's like all aboutme meditation and like just like having a
mindful room where you can like beyourself and be with yourself. Yeahcause Camilla
(28:07):
Sacred Della RUP's. She was acelebrity. She came to the United States
and she became a huge life coachand hypnotherapist. And so her book is
on our site and she teaches breathingexercises on our site. And basically when
she first started, she was like, you need to close your eyes.
I'm like, you close your eyes. I'm not closing my eyes, and
(28:30):
literally, you know, like Idon't know. Ten years later, my
whole life is about the first thingI need to do is meditate. And
that's what I tell the girls aswell, and I try and really make
sure that that's also part of theskincare everything. You know, you don't
quite your brain, especially in whenwe're busy women like we are. We
are leaders, so we need tofigure out how we have how many thoughts
(28:52):
a day? Seventy sixts thousand thoughtsa day, So we need to quiet
our brains. We need to comewithin and find out who we are before
we're starting to do anything else.Right, So that's why I'm super excited.
Do you Oh yeah, let's hearyeah. So we're having a vision
board event January seven, Oha excited. Wait, wait, wait, let's
(29:15):
let's hear that again. Listeners, you need to listen. Yeah, no,
I'm coming. I'm going vision manifestedmy life. I love that she
doesn't even know this, but thepower of words like affirmation and speaking what
I want into existence, like areally good example, like you guys reach
out to me like pretty much. But the week before I told my husband,
(29:40):
we're going to find the right homestagingcompany and we're going to so crazy.
We're going to we are going tofind a designer that we really love,
because we had got introduced and allthis, and I was like and
then when I came back in,he was like, who is that?
And I was like, it's it'swhat I told you. We I think
we've found the designer. Like wehave a team, like we're gonna have
(30:03):
someone redo our like do our housebecause we bought a new house. And
he was like really and I waslike yeah, and they're like they're working
with my team already, so likethey staged the last event that is all
over my website by the way, like it's already you're you're on my site
already. So it was like anatural. And then when you told me
you're doing a vision board. It'slike every couple of years I do this
(30:26):
and it's brought me literally all overthe world. It got me my dream
house, it got me my dreamyou know, husband, my dream bring
and like love the things that Ienvisioned when I was sixteen and I didn't
know anything, and and so Ilove this because yeah, so I mean,
I've been doing women's circles. I'vebeen doing these sort of like community
(30:48):
events where we met, where wemeditate, we journal, we maybe do
ecstatic dance. So I've been doingthis ever since I graduated residency, just
with and it's sort of like peopleare always like, but you're a doctor,
why do you do these like eventslike a vision boarder, why did
you throw your conference in September aroundlike embodiment, And I'm like, because
as a women's health doctor, likeI completely understand, like when we're stressed
(31:10):
out and our hormones are surging, our cortisols, everything, like our whole
body is out of black just likeyou know, we're allergitar environment and all
these things. And also we're soisolated as a society just constantly like you
know, in our homes, notliving. So it's in Chino yes,
so I will work to day Januaryseventh and seven. Yeah, it's after
(31:33):
New Year's that's great. So youcan still do this after New Year's.
You can put your thoughts down andthen come to her event and really soak
it in. Yeah. I lovethat. And we actually we have a
ton of sponsors that are already likecoming in. So we have like an
alcohol brand, a female owned alcoholBRANDOL. Now you have a store beauty
(31:55):
products, and Mason will help youtoo. Stables is donating all supply.
Oh no, you have like allthese people that are just very like,
oh, we love that. Welove that, sob check it out.
It's on my website which is linkedand Manifest together all. Yeah, you
know you're Manifest stronger with all thewomen together, the world better watching.
Yeah, sware. So I haveto tell Ben taken Over. I was
(32:16):
that Whole Food yesterday and it waslike seven in the morning and the store
opens in like fifteen minutes, andI was like, oh, brother,
I got it. I'm late already, but okay, and this man comes
up and he starts talking to me. He's in like shorts, the weirdest
outfit, and I'm like, don'tjudge, just you know, I know
he wants to talk to you.And he starts telling me his whole life
story, and then he starts saying, you know what, women are smarter
(32:39):
than men. And I didn't knowif I should respond or not. Right,
He's like, women are smarter thanmen. I really respect you and
I can tell you're a powerhouse.And I go, you know what,
now I'm going to turn around andshake your hand. Got wow, he's
a smart guy. He just commented, that's yes, I just got my
hair. Maybe he liked my hair. That sure, you have a great
(33:01):
energy. You want to just likelisten to what you're saying. Ye tell
me what to do. I loveyour energy. I love that. And
you know we have so Nicole, she runs Elite Homestaging Salesforce. Okay,
so we have like fifteen twenty womenand we would love one day for you
(33:22):
guys to come in and just speakto them because it's I think it's so
important to empower women that are newin their careers not just about sell sell
sell design, design, design, but also take care of yourself. I
try and get them all the time. Do self care day, you know,
take care of your clean beauty andall of that, you know,
(33:47):
cause they're not that. I'm goingto be your your troublemaker obviously, and
I'm gonna try it. Let's seeif it works. No, I'm probably
well. And then you're like,I mean just your presence is so beautiful.
You can tell you're very calming. If I had problems and I was
coming to the doctor, she mademe want to, like my voice do
(34:08):
yeah, especially this one's always like, oh my god, I need to
go to the doctor for everything.Yeah, I mean I like the doctor.
I mean I'm super into wanting toget botox lately, Like I don't
know why, but like my forehead. Well, I'm I'm a huge fan
of preventive just because it's not justfor wrinkles, it's for the skin texture.
(34:29):
It's reizing sweat glands. It alsohelps with headaches. What about botox
in your armpits? What about that? I heard about that? Now you're
stressing me out and I'm sweating? What does that mean? So the boatox?
Actually, so, what it doesis it reduces sort of the neurotransmitters
that contribute to muscle contraction, butit also downregulates your sweat lands. So
(34:51):
you're not going to sweat on yourforehead and then but I have some some
clients of mine, they say aftertheir botox under their armpits, some them
that are really heavy work out ladies, because I work out every day and
like the trap botox and the botoxfor under your arm sometimes that can affect
like your grip or really strength.Yeah, so that's something you want to
(35:12):
be mindful of. But you candefinitely get talks in your under arms for
like hyper hydrosis or excess sweating.Yeah, for sure, your hands,
your feet. But if you cantell you yeahs around where you live.
I mean, if you live inLa right, I do. If you
come to Modern Day Wife, Imean you can spin the raffle wheel and
you can get packages with me atall of my locations. Cool. So
(35:35):
check it out. Okay, makesure you send everyone to our booths so
they check out our store. Everyone'sgonna check every what do you even have
it? Okay, Well, weare doing the areas couches, We're doing
the stage couches and chairs, soyou can see a sample of our furniture.
But on our website we have everythingfrom furniture to accessories, to drugs
(35:58):
to lamps, artwork. You knowand what I say and I'm going to
answer tomorrow. Like you know,I created this website because I really realized
how important it is how you feelwhen you walk into a room, right,
So I say, there's three feelingsyou're gonna feel and mine. When
I went to do my office,I wanted to feel peaceful. I wanted
(36:20):
to feel excited. I wanted tofeel motivated, so I went on a
leap Mason. I purchased a hideso I can put my feet down and
feel really comfortable. I got aboot clay chair so I can meditate and
cross my legs. That made meexcited. And then I put a Chanel
art piece on my wall because thatscreamed luxury. Yes, I like that.
What I tell them is, youknow, if you don't know what
(36:43):
you want, FaceTime her. Shewill FaceTime you anywhere in the world and
you'll be able to figure out whatit is that you want. So that's
kind of what why our site isdifferent than you know, west Elm,
and it's really overwhelming. Like wheneverI try to go buy furniture, I
just yeah, look, I meanPinterest is cool, but it's like,
okay, but my house doesn't looklike that, and I got all these
(37:04):
things in my cart and then I'mlike, I don't know, and then
I'll order end up ording stuff fromAmazon and returning it because it's so bad
and so like I'm never shopping therefor front Driver again. Well, I
think that the reason that our siteis successful is because we come from a
staging background. So we've staged overtwelve thousand homes in Los Angeles, Orange
County, all over sixteen sixteen thousee, I'm alway you keep track.
(37:28):
Wow, that's amazing, and canyou imagine? So weave over and over
and over and over, and I'mand I fly around the world getting products,
so, like you, I'm constantlysearching. So what I want to
do is actually brand with a furniturecompany, so to make my own line.
That's my top dream. That Okay, anthropology, Yeah, we're gonna
(37:50):
We're gonna have a lot of meetings. I'm so exact. Yeah yeah,
So and this one she is likethe powerhouse behind me. She's like helps
with you know, all the girls, and you know, it's been really
fun. It's cool to see themother daughter because I have a daughter and
it's like, yeah, I owedher daughter work she's twenty one months old,
(38:10):
but she's already doing my unboxing. She's already doing to make it like
we get ready, we do ourmasks. She is so into it,
it's so cool. I started withher young, you know. She was
like, where's my bed? I'mlike, oh, sorry, I went
to a house. Nah, she'dpicked me up from school, take me
to like a staging. She's like, you could swim in the pool.
Yeah, okay, she'd come outand let me help you. No,
(38:32):
I don't like that there, mom, I like it there. Yeah.
So when she came after, shewasn't going to be it working and she's
I never thought i'd work in staging. And she's a really good singer,
but she said forget that, youknow. And when she did her first
staging, I was like, allright, who did that? Don't lie
to me, she goes I did. I was like, damn, you
(38:53):
were really listening all these years. When you grow up around something, you
kind of just like pick it upsecond nature. And this one, like,
my parents are divorced, so wemoved every single year to a different
house, and this one decorated themall differently. So I learned every style,
just grow many houses. Did wehave like twenty probably serious, like
we're moving. I seriously don't likethe same thing. I get bored the
(39:19):
all of a sudden. Most people. Yeah, it was fun and I
got to learn a lot about likedesign, and everyone's like, well,
did you go to design school?I'm like, I guess technically at my
house. Yeah. Yeah. Thebest idol is life. Yeah it is,
unless you're a doctor or a lawyer. One hundred. Yeah, yeah
(39:39):
that is. I actually love thatyou just said that because in like colleges
nowadays, there's so much going on. But I know we're supposed to wrap
up, and I'm so excited,and let's let's plug a modern day wife.
