Here we are the RCWR Show with the Leasas for
this Friday, November Twoity first twenty five. You gotts are
checking out the fourteenth Anniversary Show. Fourteen years. We've been
doing this show, and look it's okay to make fun

(02:12):
of yourself. I've been doing this for fourteen years and
I have everything down pack, but I will still slip
from time to time. And I think now it's a
case where old man's age is kind of starting to
creep up on me. Did you do this? Did you
do that? Did you do this? Did you do that?

(02:32):
Did you do this? Did you do that? And like yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm good.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I'm good. But oh I love it. I love it.
Here we are, though Man, fourteenth Anniversary Show, fourteen years
doing the RCWR Show with Lee s Anders fourteen years
consecutive podcasting doing this show weekend week out, multiple shows,
pay per views and all that good stuff, you name it.
And here we are. Don't seem to be slowing down

(02:57):
just yet. Prioritizing maybe a little bit, but not slowing
down just yet from putting a total hault on doing
the show. So hope you guys have had a fantastic week.
We made it. The weekend is here, thank God Almighty.
So we are joining SmackDown Live in progress right now.

(03:19):
I figured the way that we would do tonight's show.
We'll definitely talk a little SmackDown. We'll also sprinkle in
some headlines. I'll share some fun stories in between. I
know I've got the phone line that's gonna be opening
up soon. I know TAM's wants to do a drive

(03:41):
by and hang out talk for a little bit and
all that, so we're gonna patch her in in a
little while. And so yeah, any friends, colleagues of the
podcasting world that maybe want to call into the show,
you'll be able to do so in a little bit.
I'll make sure or I give you the number in

(04:03):
a little bit. What I want to do though, I
want to make sure that we have Tams be able
to jump in, and after Tams has hung out for
a little bit, then we'll put the number out there
and everything in case you guys want to call. Of course,
y'all can always drop your comments in there as well.
We're streaming live on multiple outlets right now for the

(04:23):
next little bit. Oh wow, So it looks like SmackDown
is opening up with the vision Paul Haymon logan Paul
the Bronson's Boy. By the way, how about that great
interview that Paul Hayman did with Stephanie McMahon that is
still being talked about. Paul Hayman got some nice shoes

(04:47):
on tonight. I gotta give him credit, like some nice
little penny loafers that he got on. Yeah. We had
a serious cliffhanger from Monday Night Rawl, didn't we. It
ended with Drew McIntyre being revealed as the fourth member
for War Games there for team Paul Hayman. But actually, no, no, no,

(05:13):
not true, McIntyre, forgive me, I said up. Drew McIntyre
fresh in the hit No No No, rock Lesnar. Yeah,
Rock Lesnar was revealed that brock Lesnar was the fourth
man there for War Games, but then we also saw
the return of the tribal chief Roman reigns. See. I

(05:37):
want to increase the volume a little bit, but I'm
afraid that WWE might hit me with a content id match,
and I would hate to go through that, man Like, seriously,
I would hate to go through that because it's just ah,
like you don't want it. You just don't want it. Man.
But Paul Hayman isn't really saying anything interesting right now,

(06:00):
at least not right now. They're out there in Denver, Colorado.
Bronson just smiled big time. It looks like bron Breaker
kind of trolled him a little bit. I think he
was kind of grabbing on Bronson Reed's muscle peck a

(06:21):
little bit, and that actually made Bronson chuckle a little bit.
So I think that was a little off the cuff.
I kinda like it though. I like that. I like
seeing little things like that kind of lets me know
that folks are yelling pretty damn well together. I love that.

(06:42):
I wonder if Logan Paul's LGN figure is gonna sell
out this time, because remember the past two times that
those LGN retro figures have been available, all the others
have been sold out. Step four, Logan Paul. Nobody wants

(07:03):
a Logan Paul. That's like all the stuff that you
could find. Logan Paul's got the microphone now and Denver,
Colorado is ledding him. Hear it? Right now, Let's talk
about Logan Paul for a little bit. Right, So, we've
seen this chatter that's out there about Logan Paul where
we've got a couple of AW wrestlers that's jumping out

(07:27):
there and saying, Yo, Logan Paul better than like the
entire AW roster, or Logan Paul better than all the
male wrestlers there is on the AEW roster. Look, I
have admitted that Logan Paul as far as someone that

(07:49):
has taken the wrestling industry by surprise for an entertainer,
a pure entertainer, social media influencer, all of that for
him to be able to catch on to the business,
the wrestling business and adapt accordingly, Like I haven't seen

(08:15):
anything quite at this level, not since a brock Lesner
and the easy transition. It just seemed like he was
able to make getting into professional wrestling as well as
Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. I mean, those are two
really good prime examples right there. You could even make

(08:36):
an argument and go with Sheldon Benjamin if you want
to throw him into the mix as well. Really not
since those three guys have I seen somebody that. But
then also still at the same time, Logan Paul is
in his own little wheelhouse of his own compared to

(08:56):
some of those names that I've mentioned. Now, he definitely,
as long as he wants to continue to stay with
WWE and everything, he definitely has a right career ahead
of him. And you know, it's hard to believe that
it's already been four plus years, what five now, that

(09:17):
Logan Paul has been working with the WWE. I mean,
that's just mind blowing when I hear it. I mean
when you really stop to think about it, it's like, Wow,
that much time has gone by already and he is
still just essentially scratching at the surface, Like this guy
hasn't even reached his peak yet in wrestling career wise. So,

(09:40):
but doing the comparison to the ae W roster, I mean,
we can kind of cut that down real real quick.
So like, look, if we were to go down just
the roster right now, just some names that's jumping out
to me, and you know, not for nothing. You guys

(10:00):
can jump in and you can go, well what about
this name Lee? And I'll let you know straight up
whether or not is Logan Paul better than Orange Cassidy? Yes?
Is Logan Paul better than Darby Allen? Oh? See, Darby

(10:24):
Allen has proven that he can wrestle, and I wish
he would lean into that more than his daredevil antics,
crash test, dummy stunts and all that. I'm gonna I'm

(10:45):
gonna say, Yes, Logan Paul's better than Darby Allen. Is
Logan Paul better than Kenny Omega? You have to put
an asterisk by Kenny Omega's name because it really depends
on Okay, hang on, let me hold that thought we're
looking at. Oh wow, Drew McIntyre just now is getting

(11:08):
off of Cody Rhoads Wheatley Vodka tour bus and he
has laid down Cody Roads in a bloody pulp. Oh wow, Well,
I wonder if that means Cody won't be making it
to war games. There USO's are running, they're trying to

(11:29):
check on him. Oh that's nice, Brot Bringer got a
nice cool shirt on badass bron breaker. I like that.
I like that name. All right, uh wow, this guy
looks like Ricochet that's helping Cody here. It's not Ricochet,
but this guy literally looks like just a lighter version

(11:52):
of Ricochet. As they've now taken a commercial break, Logan
Paul better than Kenny Omega. You gotta put an asterisk
by that because my rebuttal to hearing the name Kenny Omega,
I go, which Kenny Omega are we talking about? Because

(12:15):
if we're talking about the current Kenny Omega, you know,
and it's no fault of his, but the diverticulitist issues
and you know, some of the you know, nagging rehabit
that he's been doing on his body in recent years.
You know, he's definitely been slowing down quite a bit
in everything. I would say, the Kenny Omega of twenty

(12:37):
twenty five against Logan Paul, Logan Paul hands down surpasses.
But if you want to give me the Kenny Omega
that was doing his thing in New Japan and just
just everything leading up to ae W, sorry, you know,
much as I can appreciate Logan Paul, ring No could

(13:02):
not hold a candle to Kenny Omega, uh, Swerve Strickland,
Logan Paul better than Swerve Strickland. No, no, I got
I got Swerve better than him. Uh is Logan Paul

(13:26):
better than MJF? I think that depends. And that's not
me doing a cop out on you guys. That's me
legit asking, well, what area are we talking about? Are
we talking about wrestling? Because if we're talking about wrestling,

(13:48):
I dare say Logan Paul is the more flashier, the
more entertaining wrestler in the ring than MJF. If we're
talking on the microphone, MJF has been a little bit

(14:10):
I don't want to say relaxed, but that seems to
be the word that I'm kind of leaning towards right now.
You know, I remember a time in the previous years
where and you guys that were watching AW, you can
admit right there, I know you were right there with
me when I get ready to say this, but there's
to be a time when it came to AW programming

(14:32):
and you heard that MJF was on. You knew you
were gonna get a pretty entertaining segment. You know you
were gonna get something kind of memorable. You knew you
were gonna get something where you were gonna kick back
and go God damn that MJF Man, he's so goddamn good,
you know, but lately and I don't really think it's

(14:54):
been any fault of his own. But yeah, man, and
I think it really depends. I think it really really depends.
But the promos, no Logan Pole's got him beat hands down.
So I mean, that's just some of the names that's
off the top of my head. As we join SmackDown

(15:15):
in Progress, we got about one, two, three, four, five,
look like we got about six people. Drew McIntyre just
did a drive by looking at the work he did
on Cody as he dipped out that have pretty much
went deuces and rolled out. We got Corey Graves and

(15:37):
Michael Cole here on comment Terry Corey got a nice
suit on Corey, need to let me know who that
Taylor is? Man? That suit looked real good man. What
are you pushing tonight? Wow? Both guys are now wearing
prescription glasses. By the way, Corey Graves and Michael Cole,
how about that? We got dragging off in to kick

(16:01):
things off. I guess this is another United States Championship match.
Let me listen real quick. Yeah, yeah, it's another open
challenge for the United States Championship. But if you guys
want to throw some more names out there at me,
feel free to go ahead throw more names. I'll let

(16:22):
you know whether or not, Like you know, if you
want my personal thinking, I'll let you know whether or
not I'm thinking. Uh but yeah, just so interesting. How
so many you know, or a few aw wrestlers have
jumped out there hearing that stuff about Logan Paul and
they're very quick too. Some people may look at that
and go, ah, why even acknowledge this? Why? Well, it's

(16:46):
nice when you've got websites and podcast floggers. It's nice
when you got a topic like that that has a
decent amount of people talking, because then it's like, yeah,
so you know, is there some merit to what's being said?
And of course it's always a matter of opinion. As
we're waiting to see who dragging Off's opponent is gonna

(17:09):
be his mystery opponent, survey says, who is this? Okay,
judgment day is judgment JD? Is it JD McDonough, Maybe
it's JD McDonough, yep, JD McDonough. So this should be
a damn good match. This should be a damn good match.

(17:36):
JD is fresh off of participating in that six man
tag match too that went down with uh when what
was that? He was taking on John Cena, Seamus and
Ramis Stereo. Right, yeah, yeah, fresh off for that, So
this should be really good. Before you all even ask,

(18:01):
I know that we got Wrestling Weekend, we got aw
fool gear, we got Triple A. They're going to be
doing something this weekend as well. We'll look at how
those cards are looking later on in the show. Hey,
it is right now. For those of you wonder if
I'm going to do a post show covering both of those. Nope, noop, noope, noop, noupe, noupe.

(18:24):
I have got to prepare for a reading discussion this
coming Tuesday for one of my classes, one of my
literature classes. I am dreading it. I'm not nervous or anything,
but I'm dreading it from the standpoint of all my
other classes coming up on Tuesday, because this Thanksgiving week,

(18:49):
they all are basically going don't come to class. You know,
we're starting the Thanksgiving break early. See you the week after.
And it's like, yeah, but because my professor for this
one literature class was sick the previous week. You know,

(19:11):
if there was any wiggle room to maybe okay, since
it is Thanksgiving week, let's just can't. So we all
got to show up this coming Tuesday. It's just and
they're saying that because I was watching the news the
other day. They're saying that there's going to be a

(19:31):
ton of traffic that's going to be out there on Tuesday.
A lot of Americans are going to be traveling. Matter
of fact, I think I think the latest stat that
I heard was there's going to be about almost one
point five million people traveling in the United States alone

(19:53):
for this holiday season, this particular holiday week that's coming
up Thanksgiving, it's gonna be about one point five million
that's gonna be traveling. So I cannot stress it enough.
If you're gonna be out there traveling, please have patience.
I've been telling you guys, year in year out. You're

(20:16):
not just driving for yourself, You're driving for other people
as well. But yeah, I'm gonna be coicking back and
I'm going to be reading up on the material. I
gotta read some excerpts from Tobias Wolf's in Pharaoh's army.
That's what I gotta read up on, and I gotta

(20:38):
bring it. I gotta come up with enough questions and
answer some of those questions while I'm leading the discussion.
That's going to take about forty five minutes, maybe almost
an hour, give or take. I'm hoping though, that between
you and me, I'm hoping that the law longer the

(21:01):
class can go, the better, because then that'll mean that
at least by the time we get out, we may
have a decent shot of not being in traffic as long.
So I'm kind of keeping my fingers crossed on that one.
So I will be watching the shows that's going to

(21:22):
be coming on this weekend though from AW and Triple A.
I just won't be doing the post show. I'll gladly
talk about the shows when we do the Monday edition
RCWR show for you guys, solid match so far between
JD and Dragon Off by the way, so let me

(21:44):
tell you, guys, especially for those of you that have
you guys normally check out the Wrestling with the Topic
series with me and Tams. So remember one of the
last shows that we did talking about how it just
seems like no matter what I'm never in the right
position at the right time to tag along with the

(22:05):
wifey to go to Amazon Fresh because we got an
Amazon Fresh store that opened up, like I don't know,
it's been like maybe she's got a better memory than
I do. I think maybe it might have opened like
two years ago or something like that. And every time
I turn around, like something weird always happens with me,
I'm never able to go. When our streak came to

(22:29):
an end, I finally was able to go with Man,
let me tell you something, if y'all got access to
an Amazon Fresh store, don't be sleeping on them joints.
Walked into that bad boy, I was amazed at the
low prices that I was seeing for like the most
common I'll give you a perfect example. So I saw

(22:53):
a regular sized bag of Lay sour cream and onion chips. Okay,
And normally I can't speak for your are you have
to sound off and let me know. But you know
over here in the DMV, you know bag of that
size is gonna run about four to five dollars, okay,

(23:16):
four two five dollars Amazon Fresh. These guys won in
one ninety seven. I had to do a double take.
I was like, what's wrong with this? Like is the
date going bad or something? What exactly is going on here?
Date was on point, right, of course I'm being a
little sarcastic, but still you can't help but wonder that

(23:38):
kind of I did check the date though, legit, like
I didn't care how I was at an Amazon Fresh store,
like I had to see, like, why was it this price?
Like what was going on? Maybe something was, uh go
weird going on with the bag? I don't know, maybe
some type of a discoloration. No, like that was just
the regular price, and they really do try to help.

(24:00):
I hope you save a couple of dollars.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Man.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
I was quite taken back by everything that they had
in there, kind of small, kind of small. It kind
of gave me a if I were to describe it,
so when you're inside, it almost seems as small as
an Aldi store, but full of really really good stuff, right, great, great,

(24:32):
high quality stuff and all that. I saw their salad bar,
their bakery section, you know, which is all just pretty
much bam bam bam, all next to each other. It
was awesome. It was a really really cool experience. Everybody
that worked there were just so friendly, you know. I

(24:54):
remember we stopped by the snack Owl and I was
looking at oh nice German. Ooh wee Dragonov just hit
a dead left German supplex there. He looked like he's
trying to go for trifecta. Yeah, he's got the second
one in there. Oh my god, he still got it

(25:16):
locked in. He almost got JD. Okay, he almost got
JD out of his damn trunks. You can see a
little bit of his poor his poor dry are kind
of stick it out a little bit as he's going
for the other one. Let's see here, can he pull
off a third one? JD's fighting it off. Draggonof's like

(25:39):
nanah nice, taking elbows to the back of the neck
and head. I think he's gonna get that third one
off now, Oh no, no, what is that a T bone?
What the hell was that? I don't know if that
was a T bloom supplex or what. TAM's is ready
to patch for me to patch her in, So let

(25:59):
me go ahead and patch her in, and let's see
what we got here. So let's go ahead and patch
her in. She said she was ready to rock and roll.
Let's see here. Oh, sorry for Yanni, I don't mean

(26:21):
for you guys to see me on It has been
a long day though I've been up, I've been up early.
I woke up early this morning. I had a couple
of classes I had to take. I don't mind waking
up before my alarm. When I wake up before my alarm,
that means I'm well rested. And I definitely had got
my eight plus hours of sleep, so I feel I

(26:42):
felt pretty good when I got up. But yeah, now
it's like starting to slow down. Honestly, doing the show
right now is kind of giving me that second jolt.
And then not to mention folks that want to call
in all the other good stuff, you know, or just
do a drive by, you know, throw a quick you know, hey,
happy anniversary, all that good stuff. All right, So let
us get I think i'd hate for you guys to

(27:06):
hear the ring. So let me see. Let me see
if I can just get her to call in, and
then that way she can go ahead. That way, you
guys won't hear. That way, you guys won't hear the
phone ringing. And it should work like that. Yes, I

(27:28):
like when it's silent. Oh no, you guys actually still
heard the ring, So I learned something new. You know,
when the phone is on silent and you're connected to
the mixer, the ring will still come in. That is good.
That is good to know. Wait a minute, why Okay,

(27:51):
so I can hear you, But wait a minute, why
can't Huh? That's interesting? Hang on second, I can hear you, fine,
but I'm wondering why you're not coming in through the mixer.
Hang on here? Uh? Connected connected? So you are. It's

(28:12):
showing me that you're connected to the mixer, but I'm
not understanding why you are not. Let me see here.
That's weird. Maybe you just sound far away. Let me
do this, Let me do this, and let me put

(28:34):
my headphone on. Say something, huney, that's interesting. Okay, okay,
say time hunt. Nah, you still are not connected to

(28:55):
the mixer, which is uh, which is weird?

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Don't you just love technology? Guys? Hang on here? So
why are you not connected to the mixer? Okay? Hang on?
Try this again? All right? Try something? Now? Hello, there

(29:22):
we go. Now you're connected. That is really really weird.
All right, guys, we got tams on the beautiful and
the love Tammy. Alright, let's see here. I was telling
them just now about how the streak finally came to
an end, and I went to Amazon Fresh for the

(29:45):
first time, and I'm like looking at all the damn prices, going, oh,
this is low price. Wow, this is low. Wow, this
is low too, Like what's wrong?

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Except for when he tried to tell me one of
the things that we by normally was just too much,
and I was like, it's thirty to fifty to seventy
par cents lower than everywhere else.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah. The uh so, I like,
I like the Hillshire Farms crackers, cheese meat. It's like
a little platter thing for one person, you guys know
what I'm talking about. And we were at Amazon Fresh
and I'm like, wow, two forty eight that's a that's
a little steep. Like I was hoping I could get

(30:35):
like a dollar, you know, a dollar ninety nine or
like two dollars, and TAM's was like no, no, like
everywhere else they want like three plus dollars, Like no,
this is the best damn deal. Right.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
I'm like, I'm like, well, okay, guys, so you know
that you know things are so and down right when
on the fourteenth anniversary, we're talking about going to the
grocery store.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
Slow Wrestling News Week. So we got j D. McDonough
and facing Dragon off right now for the United States
Championship has actually been a pretty good match so far.

(31:25):
I know, something that we can talk about. I mean,
we just we're kicking back, we're all just shooting the
shit here. But something that we can talk about. You know,
it will have to be long winded with it, but
I mean we can go with this in any direction
that we want to go in. But I definitely want
to talk about this, and TAM's I definitely want to
get your reactions to this. Okay, So and TAM's knows

(31:49):
this very well and longtime listeners know this very well.
Big event, New York nice, you know, promotion convention, Like
these guys are are awesome when they run their event.
They have a great who's who of wrestlers that always
come by to these events. And if you've listened to
me long enough, I've shown I've always shown them love.

(32:11):
I've mentioned the roster and I'm like, yo, here's the prices,
like if you can go go all that good stuff.
I always try to show love to you know, a
lot of the conventions and everything. So A j Lee
apparently was at the most recent one. I guess it
happened within the past I'll just say two weeks tops

(32:31):
or whatever, past week, whatnot. And this guy creepy looking, bastard,
teeth as brown as I don't know what just I'm
not making fun of the guy. I'm just simply telling
you what is going on? What is going on? Because
I'm sure. Let me tell you something. I'm pretty sure

(32:53):
if Tam saw this guy's mouth, she'd be like, you know,
because she works at a dental office, you know, as
a manager, I'm sure she would go, oh, we need
to get him in, you know, we can hook him up,
you know, because I'm sure she's gonna be looking at
his mouth going, hey, I see money. You know. Yeah,

(33:13):
his mouth is that bad. His mouth is that bad.
But anyway, so setting this up properly for everybody, this
guy goes, he meets aj Lee and he takes a
picture with her, and you're like, okay, cool. I mean
that should be the end of the story. You got

(33:34):
to meet he got to meet aj Lee, you know,
somebody he obviously likes, Like okay, cool, Well, it gets
worse because he takes this photo of the two of
them at Big Event, and dragon Off retains, it was
a damn good match, damn good match, not just saying
I actually watched all of this, damn good match. Dragon

(33:55):
Off retains, So he takes this photograph, he uploads it
to AI software, and basically he turns it into a
video of him kissing AJ on the mouth. The two
of them are kissing one another on the mouth. So

(34:18):
AJ eventually sees this video like there's already a ton
of fans that are like, dude, what the hell is
wrong with you? This is so sick. And look, I'm
not gonna mention the guy's handle. I'm not gonna because see,
here's the thing. So all my friends in the podcasting world,
and there were definitely quite a few of you that

(34:39):
are doing it right, that are definitely doing it right.
But like to those that have the webcast, and you
guys are showing screenshots even if you're not playing the video,
you decide to not play the video just the fact
that you're showing screenshots and you're showing the guy's name,
don't even do that because you're basically giving him his

(35:00):
fifteen minutes of fame, Like, if you're going to cover
this guy, you're going to cover the news of this guy,
cover it, just don't mention the guy's name, don't mention
his ham none of that crap. Okay, seriously, So the
fans are like, dude, what the hell is wrong with you?
You're like when sick mother lover aj gets wind of this,

(35:20):
and she puts out a response to this post of
his and she goes, this is harassment. You know, this
is like something else that she had said, and she said,
you know, you know, please remove this video. And so

(35:41):
you know, you you hear that, You're going, well, you know, hey,
there you go. Aj Lee is saying, okay, so there
you go. That should be it. No, this guy decides
he wants to double down, I triple dog gar you.
So he not only posts continues to have the video
be posted on his respected channel outlet, but he posts

(36:06):
it on other social media outlets, you know, basically adding
more salt to the wound in everything. This is inappropriate
and it is harassment. Please delete. Those were her exact
words that she used. So where we stand right now.
Big event eventually caught wind of this. As for you

(36:31):
SmackDown fans Alexa Bliss and Charlotte. Alexa is trying to
have Charlotte's looking very very pretty tonight, Charlotte trying to
have Charlotte do a little bit of pep talk with
Rhea Ripley. This does not seem like a meeting of

(36:53):
the minds. This seems like a really bad softcore pornography
scene that that did not That didn't look right. I'm
not just saying that that didn't look right anyway, So, uh,
Hunt and everybody else so a big event. They caught
wind of this and they're like, responded to this, dude,

(37:18):
your band and then they followed up with another tweet,
you are banned from all future events. Has that maybe
made the guy at the time that we are doing
this show right now go, you know what? Am I?
I really really messed up here? This wasn't my intent.
Let me just no, his content is still on the

(37:41):
respect of social media outlets. So that's where we stand
right now. So would love it if you guys could
sound off, let me know your thoughts about this whole
AJA situation. Uh hun, run with that. What's what's what's
say you?

Speaker 3 (38:00):
There are so many different areas that my mind is
going and references one is this guy sounds like a
sickle because when you have already gotten something from the
other person in the picture of themselves and saying this

(38:21):
is an appropriate place take it down and you literally
dig in your heels, you are a sick bastard or
money grabbing piece of you know what. Because more than likely,
I would say, if he had marvels, he probably tried

(38:42):
to monetize that is, trying to get every dime off
of it. That's one way I'm thinking. But mainly is
that really makes it bad for so many other people
because you know, there are some there are people that

(39:06):
you know, kind of deal with some of the same
things that you know aj has had to deal with
in reference to you know, these kind of people. But
also you know her own heads face. Do you really
think she's going to want to do meet and greets
right away? She's probably going to be creeped out, and

(39:33):
most likely this guy is going to be flapped with
a page that's been taken down if he doesn't stop it,
or hell, she could take it a step further and
essentially legally make his life a living house.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
And we'll talk about those legal ramifications in a little bit,
because I didn't even tell TAM's that I was going
to be bringing up this topic. I know, in passing
I had said a little something to her about it,
but I didn't go into full detail about, you know,

(40:13):
what all had went down. I probably just set something
for like about five ten seconds at most, but that
really was it. So I find it interesting that she
touched upon the whole legal ramifications because I definitely want
to want to talk about that. Me and Tams, to
our credit, we have covered enough con events and you know,

(40:39):
you'd be amazed all the stuff that you learn behind
the scenes and everything into what TAM's was saying just
a few seconds ago, to her point about you know, hey,
you think that talent is gonna appear at the next event,
you know, after a situation like that. I can remember,

(41:04):
this is a true story now, I can remember there
was a con event that we went to where Lou
Farigno was like on one side, I mean he was
way way, he was way across. I think he was
about maybe thirty feet away, is not a little more

(41:27):
from the icon sting and in his table and all that,
and man TAM's we were like, oh, Luf Forigno's over. Okay,
well you know what, he's next to Sting. That should
kind of work out pretty good for him. Okay, he
kind of has good companies, so yeah, this should definitely
work out. And as we were in line for Sting,

(41:51):
because we got to Sting's line a little bit early,
I think what initially ended up happening, we were just
walking around getting a lay of how things were, so
that when it was time for us to go to
Sting's line for the photographs and all that, we knew
where to go. And we were like, oh, that looks
kind of cool, like okay, fast forward, you know, We're like, hey,

(42:14):
let's go ahead and get that hit start. And I
think we went to Sting's line. We called ourselves being
an hour early I think, but they were like already
people in the line. But the entire time that we
were there, I bullshit you not people like nobody was
going to Loufarigno's line. It was so sad to see

(42:39):
because you're like, wow, this guy, like, you know, even
if he hasn't really done anything of great significance in
more recent years, like this is Loufarigno, Like he is
still recognizable and just you know, like, what the hell.
And I I know I overheard I can't remember if

(43:00):
TAM's can recall overhearing this, but I overheard Lou Farigno
talking to his agent and saying, what the hell He's like,
you know, if it's gonna be like this, I don't
want to be back here again, you know, and like legit,
I could tell he felt, you know, embarrassing everything. At

(43:21):
one point, I think I even remember somebody was trying
to get an interview with him and he was just
like that upset. He didn't even want to be bothered
doing an interview and all that. So to TAM's point,
when some of these talents experience with their experience at

(43:42):
some of these public events, you know, like a big
event or con you know whatever, you know, they're they're
gonna trust me, They're gonna go to their agent, they're
gonna be like, okay, well, if we got people that's
kind of operating like this, you know, not to mention,
you know, I did this, but I really wasn't trying to.
But the money was okay. But now after yeah, you

(44:04):
know what, I'm good. Let's let's stick to the more
reliable the more right, and it just fits into it.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
I mean, it really just depends on the contractual obligations.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
I mean obviously you know, if one would be able
to get out of it, maybe, but but yeah, that
you know, that's just another piece of the puzzle.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
It is. It's another piece of the puzzle. And then
you know what this guy doesn't understand, you know what
what what he has done, he has definitely he's making
the experience. He's putting hinderous, hindrance on it. He's going

(44:50):
to make it more challenging because now things are going
to be looked upon from a uh security uh from
a security aspect. Oh wow, there's a QR code. Hang
on here, hang on here, there's a QR code for
WWE Supercard. I don't know what that QR code is about,

(45:12):
but you guys might want to pause your TVs. And
apparently you can get a free gift that's g I
F T not g I F Okay. I don't need
you guys being all funny everything. But but no, you know,
he he guys like that make it harder for the

(45:35):
overall experience, because heaven forbid you go to a future
event and it's yeah, you know, well, hey, if this
talent doesn't want to be hugging, if this talent wants
to remember how it was right after COVID and okay,

(45:56):
don't touch me. You can stand twenty feet over there.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
I remember when you went to go meet Sam Lee
and they were like he's going to sit here, and
if you want to stand by him, fine, but anything
else you short.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
Right, And that was right around COVID, like right after
the major boom. Yeah, because they were like, yeah, you
know that was before because I was like.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
Well, damn, it was before COVID, right, it was before.

Speaker 3 (46:29):
It was before oh you know what, I think it
was actually the first off. It was the first off.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Yeah, it was before COVID.

Speaker 3 (46:37):
It was the summer before COVID. Yes, yes, but they
were just like, don't touch him, don't do anything. If
you want to stand by him, fine, but that's it.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Yeah. Yeah, And I.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
Remember because it was so profound. I was like, wait
a minute.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
What, Yeah, exactly, I mean I.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Understand this stan Lee, and you know he's he was,
you know, not exactly the greatest health, so I do
get it. But still, you know, those are the types
of stipulations that when things like that happen, that can
sometimes come about, right. And the other thing that I

(47:19):
was thinking as you were talking, you know, grant you
Yet she is an independent contractor of her own and
reference to other deals and so on and so forth,
but she's also under contract with WWE, and WWE and.

Speaker 5 (47:36):
T KO may have some.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Real interesting words in reference to her doing something like that.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
Again, well, remember this is a new WWE, so.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
Intellectual property, especially when something is posted in a negative light.
Not to say that she did that, because she didn't.
She had no nothing to do with it, besides the
fact that she posed for the picture. But still, you know,
I mean, how many times did you try to get

(48:15):
an interview in these you know, years and years and
years and years and years, and I swear to you
as always, yeah, no, we can't do that because this
that that that that that that's that's you know in
the third.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
Y.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
So I guess that's what I'm saying is, yes, she
is an indefinite contractor, but she is under contract with WWE,
and you know, wonder what kind of bug in her
ear that she's going to get from that.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
Honestly, honestly, Hunt, I don't think she's going to get
any bug I think. I think it's honestly, honestly, I
think it's going to be a case where WWE higher
ups they make to aja, Hey, that was so unfortunate.
What happened with that fan? How are you holding up?
Is there anything that you need? Is there anything that

(49:09):
we can do? And I don't know how far if
she's even got the ball rolling into looking at legal
ramifications and all that, but I need people to understand
something because we are in a delicate time right now
in our society because of the rise of AI, deep

(49:31):
fakes and everything. And I have and I have written
this really great articles. Tams has read the article. I
know she gave her thoughts about it on Wrestling with
the Topics from over the weekend. But it's an article
that I'm really really proud of that I can't wait

(49:53):
to see be published. I'm trying to give first opportunity
to one of my campus media news media outlets to
publish it, and you know, see if they will. But
I'm glad that I'm still able to continue to work
on this story because it's an ever evolving story. Like

(50:16):
so far I've been able to speak, speak, sit down
and speak to some professors. I've also been able to
speak to a few, you know, social media folks. But
I'm still trying to get the legal aspect component to
my piece as well, so that I have all the

(50:37):
sides covered, but looking at things from a legality standpoint
here in the United States, I did some homework right
in addition to what I've already been doing. But as
far as like what aj Lee where her rights are
or anybody else for that matter, this is where things

(50:57):
get really really interesting here. So check this out, y'all.
So we are talking about, and let's not forget earlier
this year, Zoe Stark. You know, she went out on injury.
You know, as I noted in my article, she went

(51:18):
out on injury, and you know, she's minding her own
business and the next thing you know, she gets a
email that she's rather contacted from her family and friends
and they're like, wow, you're retiring. And she's like, no,
what the hell are you talking about? And they show
her this deep fake video of her where she's announcing

(51:40):
she's retiring and she's like whoa, Like, you know, not
the case at all and everything. So federal law non
consensual Intimate Images slash deep Fakes to Take It Down
Act Federal law. This was signed in the law earlier
this year, back in May. It criminalizes the the knowing

(52:00):
dissemination of non consensual intimate visual depictions NCII, including AI
generated deep fakes. In certain cases, the law requires covered
platforms online services with user generated content to implement notice
and takedown procedures. A victim can report content and ask

(52:24):
for its removal. The law addresses deep fakes when the
image video is of an identifiable person, created or manipulated
without their consent and published with intent or causing harm
and not a matter of legitimate public concern. So what

(52:47):
does this mean for aj Lee? So for aj Lee,
if the video is AI generated shows her in an
intimate slash humiliating scenario, like you know, like she kissed
and she didn't even consent to kiss right, and it's
published to harassed or to humiliate her, then this law
could easily apply. So even if the guy is saying,

(53:11):
oh no, this was just my love fest, and you
can see like for days on end on his social
media page that this guy was just obsessed with aj.
I mean, he was just for like days on end,
just ajajajajajaj, I mean it was like a broken record.
State laws and right of publicity privacy claims beyond federal law.

(53:35):
Many states have statures or case law regarding non consensual
pornography or the distribution of intimate images past consent. For example,
some states have expanded revenge porn statures to cover AI
generated images. Separately, there are torte claims right of publicity

(53:57):
on authorized use of person's likeliness, false endorsement, invasion of privacy,
public disclosure of private effects, false light, intentional infliction of
emotional distress, et cetera. A law review article traces these
steps in the deep fake context, so AJ could explore

(54:17):
claims under whichever state laws applied, dependent on where the
person lives, where the content was published, plus civil toward actions,
and then one other note here. Platform takedown and content removal.
Practically one of the fastest tools is to use the
platform's terms of service tos and reporting takedown mechanisms, notifying

(54:42):
such platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, wherever else it's on,
and that a deep fake of her likeliness was published
without her consent and requesting removal. I don't know if
Aj and or her agent, publicist, whatever legal team has
looked into this yet. But push come to shove. They
can always push, come to show the right push on

(55:07):
the shove, they can always get WWE involved. So and
then also criminal liability for the uploader and civil liability
for the victim. Under the federal law and some state laws,
the person who knowingly publishes a non consensual deep fake
of an identifiable person may face criminal penalties. The victim

(55:30):
may also pursue civil damages if state laws allow for
emotional distress defamation, depending on how it's portrayed, right of publicity,
et cetera. The tort article lays out how these claims
might proceed. Now, obviously there are still like some gaps right,

(55:52):
there is still you know, some uncertainties and all that.
As the scope of intimate slash non consensual federal law
focuses on intimate visual depictions for digital forgeries deep fakes
that appear real and were created disseminated without consent. If
the fake video is more of a harmless parity or

(56:16):
fictional scenario, less sexual humiliating protections may be weaker. Something
else that you guys need to consider as well. Because
I don't see enough people talking about this First Amendment
free speech concern some deep fake creations might claim parity
or other protected speech rights. The tort article shows that

(56:39):
the right of publicity privacy claims must balance expressive rights.
And then here's the most important caveat. Y'all, proof and evidence.
The victim will need to show. One the person is identifiable.
Two the content was created slash manipulated without consent. Three
the depiction is fall attributing them in a scenario they

(57:02):
did not participate in or endorse for harm or intent
to harm pending stature. Five that the platform or uploader
had knowledge or negligence. So it's not just a case here.
Everybody be on the same page. It's not just a
case here, or we're talking about this uploader. Like if
AJ is saying xyz and insert YouTube, insert Twitter x

(57:28):
insert if they're not doing anything, they could be held
liable as well as part of this and everything obviously
if varies state to state. I mean, just to kind
of give you guys, just a little taste, just a
little tiny taste. So we're talking about the Communications Act

(57:52):
forty seven Usc. Two two three to add criminal prohibitions
on the distribution of intimate visual depictions, including digital forgeries,
AI deep feet, defakes of an ID Oh I'm getting
an echo? You got me on speaker or something.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
Not anymore?

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Okay, okay, good, good, good depictions, including digital forgeries AI
deep fix of an identifiable person without consent. It also
mandates that covered platforms must implement notice slash takedown procedures
for non consensual intimate imagery. So, like, there's a lot.

(58:38):
It really depends on the state, right, but there's a lot.
It's very multi layered, and but she does have her rights,
and like, look, I don't see this guy rolling in
money where he's basically going to be like bring it on.
And this whole notion that he is claiming that he's
mentally challenged and and how dare people pick on him

(59:02):
because he's mentally challenged, Well, he's not that mentally challenge
if he knows how to take an image and go
to an AI side and all this other stuff.

Speaker 3 (59:13):
Yeah, agree, you know, so.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
Yeah, kind of a sad, unfortunate situation right there. It's
like you see the good when it's done right, You
see the good when uh, stuff like this AI in
deep fake content, Like I automatically think about some of
our favorite actors that are essentially you know, they're aging out,

(59:39):
and they have already taken the steps to make the
transition into doing voiceover work for you know, cartoons, you know,
animated films and things of that nature. But now seeing
some of these you know, wow, you know AI can
do this. Wow, we can like you know, people are

(01:00:00):
already like yo, we need to try to make a
movie off of this technology. And this means that for
some of your favorite aging actors that they you know, hey,
I still got the voice. The voice is you know,
still iconic, it's still recognizable. Yo. I can work if
I want to for another ten, fifteen, twenty years and

(01:00:22):
just rely on my voice. At this point, I just
got to protect my voice. Well, you say to that,
huh true.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
I think eventually, if it's not only in place, you
really are going to have to claim or get some
type of protective rights over you know, people's likeliness, people's
voice essentially, you know, especially if you're in the acting

(01:00:56):
field or voiceovers or whatever have you. Because if some
an artificial intelligence can basically make the same sound that
you do to make it sound like yourself, then how
can you protect yourself? And your craft. From that, there

(01:01:17):
has to be some type of legality or the releast
there should be, yeah, because you know, if not, then
the heck it's a friend for all absolutely likeliness and
anything else.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Well, dan Aykroyd said it best, you know, I sayed
him in my article. Dan Ackroyd was like, if you're
going to use my likeliness, you know you're gonna have
to pay me.

Speaker 3 (01:01:48):
And that should be the case.

Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
We've seen Nicholas Cage a very pissed off, a very
pissed off Nicholas Cage, and rightfully so when his likeliness
was used for or that super that flash movie where
basically we got to finally see how a Nicholas Cage
as Superman would have looked, you know, And and he

(01:02:12):
wasn't a fan of that. He was not consulted at
all about that. And you know he's he's definitely been
an advocate for no, no, you know this AI stuff like, no,
you gotta pay us, and I promise you just from
the acting standpoint, I know we had that what was

(01:02:34):
it that we had recently? We had a writer's strike, right,
That's that was the last thing that went down, was
a writer strike. Boy, when that actor strike comes and
you know it's coming.

Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
Oh eventually.

Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Well, I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
One would have to think about certain things like that
in reference to well, heck, if I do this, will
I be replaced?

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
Yeah, it's like, well, I mean, and what's to say,
you know, for them? How are they protected? That's that's
the thing. How are you? How am I protected? How
is my brand that I've been building for all these
years as a voiceover person, as an actor, as a
comedian or whomever that has essentially made a name for themselves.

(01:03:23):
How am I protected from things like this? In reference
to going forward? You know, how am I getting paid?
You know, and I should be getting paid essentially, whether
or not you were using my voice naturally or whether
you're using some form of AI to help that alone.

(01:03:45):
Either way, I'm recognizable and people are going to know
that is that is me AI generated or not?

Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
Right? All right?

Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
I mean, there's there's a lot of situations that are
going to be figured out. Not The only sad part
about it is they're not going to be figured out naturally.
They're going to be figured out in courtpal.

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Yeah. Yeah, all it's going to take is just that
one particular case and I think it's going to happen
a lot sooner rather than later. Oh I if I
were to like, and I'm usually pretty good with my timetables,
I think definitely before we're gonna go in the twenty
twenty six, right, So I think before, I think before

(01:04:41):
the end of twenty twenty eight. I think that's when
we're really like, Okay, here's what's up. Here's what's up.

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
I mean, it's just the changes. You know, remember when
we you know, we went from physical media to digital media. Yeah,
and how all the act the artists were like, no,
I'm not doing that, and if I am doing that,
you're a baby. Because essentially they went from a tangible

(01:05:14):
how to calculate what they were selling, what you know,
what was being bought, all of that, yeah, to not
being able to measure nor monitor it. And a lot
of artists backed out for a long time until they
figured out a way. And I'm sure there was you know,

(01:05:36):
a lot of meetings and probably.

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
A few court bottles, you know along the way.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Yeah. Final thoughts, because I saw your message earlier, I
know you got to dip out final thoughts just so
it doesn't even have to be on this topic. You
just like in general, so you.

Speaker 3 (01:05:59):
Know, final thoughts is just in reference to this particular topic,
would be just you know, actually, there isn't really any
final thoughts because the rules of the game change daily,
because somebody else has figured out a way to do
something different, because the software and the technology is there,

(01:06:26):
so you know, be as careful as you can kind
of thing. But there isn't even that, you know, but.

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
You got a fun story you want to share. I
did say I was going to do some behind the
scenes stuff from over the fourteen years. Is there something
that sticks to your mind that you want to share
before you dip?

Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
I literally it's still is ingrained in my brain from
really it was the very first show, Like the very
very very very very first show is still as fresh

(01:07:12):
now is I'm sitting here talking to y'all, And it
was literally how the first show came to be. I'll
give you the snippet. The first thing was, you know,
our boy Lee here was all over the place, you know,
and what he wanted to do, which you know, avenue

(01:07:37):
he wanted to take. And I remember and I told
the story not that I'm not too long to produce friends,
And I said, if that's what you want to do, great,
stick to it. And the funny thing is, I think

(01:07:57):
for the longest time Lee thought, Okay, she's being supportive,
which I was. There's no problems about that. But on
the undertone of it, it was like, okay, pick a
lay and stay in it.

Speaker 4 (01:08:14):
Too.

Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
To that very very first show, and.

Speaker 5 (01:08:20):
You were nervous, and it was you know.

Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
What, well, how should I do this? Or how should
I do that? Or you know what will happen if
this happens, or what have you? And I said, just
relax and have fun and he was still nervous. Yeah,
and it You know, I saw the whole show, and

(01:08:44):
you guys couldn't see it of course back then, but
he looked like for some of you you may know
who I'm talking about. For others, google it, But he
looked like Walter Cronkit trying to report the evening news.

(01:09:07):
But he was so nervous and and so many years later,
you know, it's so funny. I guess. The only other
thing I want to share is to see you grow
in your craft from that nervous person that was like,

(01:09:28):
oh my goodness, what have I gotten myself into? Too?

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Oh wow?

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
On speaker, the numbers and and oh we've got this
many downloads and not you know, unfortunately the platform was cracked.
But to basically make it a you know, a shorter
story to see you from that very first show that

(01:09:58):
was you know, like it's someone's first driving test and now,
you know, comfortable in your own skin. And essentially we're
you know, reporting and having conversations. But that's what this is, guys.
We're having conversations. You know, yes, Lee is giving you

(01:10:20):
updates about wrestling and so on and so forth, but guys,
this is a whole, big old conversation. And nothing makes
me smile more than hearing Lee say somebody told me
today that they grew up listening to me, and it's like, wow,

(01:10:42):
what a tenure. And fourteen years later, here you are. Yeah,
and it's just crashing the service, baby, just crashing the service.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm going to say, I'm going to say,
here's the fourteen more years, assuming that, assuming that, you know,
I'm able to continue to without any strings attached, you know,
because let's be honest, if I'm trying to do the
news reporting, like if I'm trying to transition it to

(01:11:15):
be a TV Dwes journalist or whatever. There may be
some restrictions as far as like, yeah, you can't do
that show. We'll cross that bridge when I mean, that's
like it's right around the corner, though, I like, I
want to prepare everybody because like things could be drastically
different in the next three years. So I mean, if

(01:11:37):
we're being honest with you guys, and we always believe
in being honest with you, you know, we've already myself Tams,
my academic advisor. You know, it's like, look, you know,
I'm still a relatively young man, but at the same time,
I'm also half of years away from turning fifty. You know,

(01:11:59):
I want to get my Bachelor's Like, can we do
this in two years? Like tops? And they're like two
years is really pushing it. You need to prepare for
two and a half years. It's like, well, that's fine,
but let's try to go for two years. So a
lot can happen between now and when I get the
Bachelors that I may not be able to do this

(01:12:22):
show anymore. You know, I'm hoping it doesn't. You know,
I'm hoping it doesn't get to that point. I'm hoping
it's a case where they just go, you know, we'll
look as long as you don't, you know, mention your affiliation,
your news affiliation, as long as you don't you know,
advertise when you're I mean, who knows, right, because it

(01:12:45):
kind of seems like nowadays more and more news anchors
are kind of doing that whole podcasting world and it's
not conflicting with uh, you know, where their main bread
and butter is per se. So I don't know any

(01:13:06):
anything can happen, but you know, again, we'll cross that
bridge when we get there. But to taps point, yeah, uh,
you guys gotta I wish you guys could have seen because,
like to her whole point about Walter Cronkite, I had
like printed out paper after paper after paper, and I
was just sitting there in front of the camera live
just so to go from that.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
You know, and I promised you guys it literally was.
Today is November twenty first.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
Shout out to Jay.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Yeah, so uh yeah, but that's you know that, that's
my congress to you and you know, and all your
endeavors that you've accomplished already, and you know all them,
what else is to come? As far as you know,
whether it be with the show or and or your

(01:14:08):
your career and what have you, but I would love
I was actually sitting here thinking, just really quickly. I
was sitting here thinking, I wonder if he's going to
play maybe like a snippet, like a snippet of the
first or maybe first handful if you even have those.

(01:14:31):
I don't know if you do or don't the first
handful of the show. Wow, I promise you, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
I think we can do that. You want, like, is
that something you want to personally hear? Right now?

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
With what everybody else, I was just thinking it would
be funny to give them a snippet of of back.

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
Then during during during the celebration.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
That's the show. I mean, it doesn't have to be
right this second.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
But I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what if you
buy if you could buy me five maybe five minutes,
If you could buy me five minutes, I can literally
pull up something right now that we all can listen to.
You ain't even got you ain't even got to buy
me five minutes. You can buy me like two minutes tops,

(01:15:27):
And I can and I can definitely find it. That's
like no issue, that's no issue. Yeah, all right, so
talk for about two minutes. I'm gonna I'm gonna be quiet,
and I'm gonna find this, all right, So.

Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
Guys, you know, just in we leave looking for that
and so many so many platforms and so many avenues
and things of that nature, and just.

Speaker 5 (01:16:00):
Seeing the evolution of the show.

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
And then who you know Lee has interviewed and talked
to and you know just had you know, conversations with
I mean, he actually got to interview Bruno San Martino.

Speaker 5 (01:16:16):
And for Lee that was like the highlight of his life.

Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
And and and he always lit up when he he said, hey,
I thought her mister san Martino, you know, after he
did the interview with him, of course, but.

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
True it was yeah, true, true story, true story. Tams
will back me up. I'm telling no lies. We were
so cool when mister Bruno that Bruno had extended to
me anytime that I wanted to talk, I had his
phone number so I could easily you know, call him

(01:16:55):
and shoot the hay and all and all that. And uh,
I don't have that many regrets, very few. One of
my regrets is that I didn't take him up on
that and tried talking to him more. I remember there

(01:17:15):
were a couple of times I would call, I would
get his answering machine and I would say, you know, hey, hey,
you know, hey, mister Bruno. You know, it's Lee from
the RCWR show. Just you know, just checking in with you.
You know, I hope you're doing well and all that,
and and that was that, and then, you know, very rare.

(01:17:37):
I regret, but it's just kind of one of those
deals where it was like, well, here was essentially an
olive branch of a friendship that was you know, I
wish I would have more right and then the the
the only other time there's been like three times I
felt that way. The most recent, of course, was the

(01:17:59):
pasting of Kevin Castle. And you know, Kevin Castle I
still think a lot about to this day because a
lot of the health issues that he eventually sircame to,
you know, some of those same health issues I'm dealing with.
I'm doing my best to steer the ship, you know,

(01:18:22):
get better and everything so I can be around for
TAM's and and my family and friends. To say that
it is a challenge would be a understatement. But I
think about keV all the time. You know, there's definitely
a part of me that wishes, you know, that's another one.

(01:18:42):
I should have done a lot more to hey, dude,
what's up, especially when not for nothing, he did throw
an olive branch out there, you know. And yeah, yeah,
so sometimes I'm a little Mela Conie most times, no reflective,
you know. I did find something. I don't know if

(01:19:05):
this will help us. I see something from thirteen years ago. Enough,
I think that's good enough. I think that's good enough.
I don't think there's really going to be I don't
think there's really gonna be that much that much progress
at all. So let me so, now that I found it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:23):
I'm going to start to be thirteen.

Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Yeah, so this is from thirteen years ago. So this
is oh man, you remember these days. This was back
when we were doing the weekend report. This was back
when I was doing a recap of the entire week
and WWE, TNA those are like the main too that

(01:19:47):
was running.

Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
Yeah, ww WWE and CNA were pretty much too that
you were covering background.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
Yeah yeah, okay, so let's uh let's uh listen to
uh this sounds here. I just had it hang on
eleven three oh I didn't put in twenty twelve. Okay,
now we got all right, let's listen.

Speaker 6 (01:20:12):
They're also w gamers. You know, there's a lot of
you that had great concerns with WW twelve. Sense about
getting this year's installment. You'll appreciate the review that I
have to say, And that review for WW thirteen is
going to be coming up in the later part of

(01:20:33):
the show. So let's go on ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:20:36):
We got a ton of stuff that.

Speaker 6 (01:20:37):
We got to cover. Let's go on ahead, and let's
jump right into it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:40):
And of course who is that young man is the
last one.

Speaker 6 (01:20:44):
In the air on Impact Showdown Radio this past Thursday.
But I can't stress that enough. Mad shat out to
those in the New York New Jersey area. Well, fortunately
were effective by Hurricane Sandy. You know, you guys are
going through the recovery right now. You know that, as

(01:21:04):
we had heard sport.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Yeah, this is right.

Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
I do at times sound like fucking Keith Lee to
thou Art for bo. Why that audio quality sucks, don't it?

Speaker 6 (01:21:30):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
You know why? You know why the audio quality sucks?
This was back during the blog talk radio days. Yeah,
So for those of you I think I think they
got it. I think they heard just enough. I think
I think they got enough to wet their appetites. So
before before roadcaster pros, before suore microphones, before like TAM's

(01:21:59):
can help me feel in some more blanks too, But
like before all of that, like the way most.

Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
People before all the heavy hitting equipment, before all.

Speaker 2 (01:22:08):
The heavy hitting equipment, right before all this shit that
came that basically went here, we'll take some of the
load off of you, and this way you can really
sound like a pro. You were able to do you
could only do your show two ways, right, Either you
had a phone line, okay, and you either paid for

(01:22:30):
that phone line, or you went to somebody like blog
talk Radio, and for X amount of dollars a month
you were able to get a little phone line and
you could connect it to was it Skype yet it
was Skype, And so they had like this really cool switchboard.

(01:22:52):
I mean it was kind of cool the way they
had it set up way back in the day. And
true story, blog talk Radio was finally retired. I think
it was last year blogtalk Radio. Yeah, I finally got
set set into the sunset last year. I was like, wow,
I can't believe like why wasn't it sooner like Jesus Christ.

(01:23:14):
But but so if you weren't hosting a show that way,
then the only other way that you were doing the
show was uh you you know, you had the traditional setup,
like you had the hard drive computer and then you

(01:23:35):
had like the professional uh switchboard. Maybe you had a barringer,
you know, aight oh two uh mixer, and you were
connecting that way essentially to the hard drive and all that.
You got yourself a little microphone and maybe you were
doing it that way or or or some type of

(01:23:55):
a predecessor to that. But those are like the only
two mets for way back then. So a lot of people,
including myself, way back in the day, we would do
the blog talk radio and Man TAM's will remember this.
Me and Tams used to get into heated arguments because

(01:24:18):
we would get the blog talk radio bill and I
was like seeing all these numbers that I was getting
for the show because like we were, you know, at
our peak, we had two peaks. We had the blog
talk radio peak. We had actually three peaks now that
I think about it. We had the blog talk radio peak,
we had the YouTube peak, we had the spreaker peak

(01:24:40):
peak because we we were ahead of the curve before
everybody else in their mama was like, oh blok talk radio,
oh spreaker, oh YouTube like and I'm not saying that,
Tams will tell you. Tams will tell you like like legit.
So like when it came to the blog talk radio peak,

(01:25:00):
I mean, we were doing like about seventy five to
almost eighty thousand downloads a month of the show, and
I think we were paying. I think we were paying
like maybe one hundred dollars a month for yes. And
I remember, I'll never forget I was such an asshole.

(01:25:23):
I remember this one time we get the bill for
Vaulk Talk. We can laugh about it now, but like
back then, it was I don't I wouldn't have dealt
with me. So TAM's goes, so Tam, Tams goes. Oh. Man, Man,
just crunching the numbers the other day, and we got

(01:25:43):
to cut back on some stuff, you know, especially if
we want to try to make sure that this is paid,
and this is paid, and that's paid, and that block
talk radio it's it's really And man, I had a
temper tantrum. This was before I got diagnosed diabetes and
all that I had a tempered tatrum and I ain't

(01:26:05):
curse her out or nothing like that, but I was like, no,
you know, blog talk radio, like the stats are good.
God damn it. It's like we're getting good. We wasn't
even getting ad revenue right, All we basically was getting
was just good stats. Like right, this was before we
could even you know, this was before we even fandom
the idea of you know, cause like there were no

(01:26:30):
sponsors back then. I do people to understand that sponsors
weren't coming to podcasters. Go no. Instead it was oh, yo,
you're not really radio, Oh get away from me.

Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
Were coming through us, so whatever. You know, it was
a labor of love. So yes, that's where he's getting at.

Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
Yeah, this was a labor of love project. And TAM's
was like, yo, this is not like we need to
And I remember I gave her a tongue lash and
I'll never forget the way she was looking at me,
and she looked at me like you crazy son of
a bitch, and then you dumb fool. You know, she
was like it was like this weird, like you delusional fool,

(01:27:12):
Like she had all of that in her face when
she was looking at me. And also also she had
the type of phase where it was kind of like, motherfucker,
you're gonna send us to the poorhouse with this blog
talk radio expense and I don't. And I think the
compromise that we ended up making was I went to

(01:27:35):
a lower tier. I went to a more affordable tier.
I went from like one hundred and some dollars a
month to like I think forty something or whatever or
something like that. And uh, yeah, I look back on
it now and it was like it was just so
damn funny. But yeah, we had hit three peaks. We
hit the blog talk radio peak, and then I can't

(01:28:00):
even remember. Oh that was one of That was one
of my four daughters getting on the bed. Okay, wait, no,
she passed gas. That's what that was. Okay, I heard
a weird noise. She passed. One of my furry daughters
has been keeping me company apparently the whole time, and
I heard something go rip, and I'm like, it ain't
come from me. I'm like, what the hell I thought

(01:28:22):
something fell? Yeah, you know, it's amazing how how some dogs,
like you know, at times, they'll they'll fart like a
regular humans. It's kind of funny, but I've never heard
that it was rare. I hear it, but I do
hear it. But like, but like, what was the final

(01:28:46):
straw with blog talk Radio. I'm just trying to I'm
just trying to remember.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
Basically, the final straw was the quality.

Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
Yeah, the quality.

Speaker 3 (01:29:00):
Was what the final staw was. And it was like,
why are we paying for subpar quality? And there's no
return on the revenue.

Speaker 2 (01:29:16):
That's right, because at that point we had the mixers,
we had the but we still were calling into the
show and as a result of that, listeners weren't really
able to hear how the sound should be that we
were trying to give the listeners so yet and that's

(01:29:36):
how we ultimately went to Spreaker for everybody and their mama.
And I say this polite, I say this respectfully, but
like before everybody and the mama started flocking over the Spreaker,
we were like, you know, if not the first, we
were definitely I think you were on the top.

Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
And I mean you were pretty much the first one
to three podcasts.

Speaker 2 (01:30:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we were speakers Bread and butter Boy
for a little bit. I mean every single time we
used to hit them up and say hey, guys, we're
having this issue. I mean, and they were so nice
to work with us anytime we were trying to let
them know about a particular episode that we had did

(01:30:20):
try to see if they could man, yeah, they were,
you know. And but then, like everything everybody in the mind,
I'm happy. I'm happy for everybody because it's like to
be able to kick back and say hey, look, I
took this craft very seriously, and it showed in my
early early work to what TAM's was talking about earlier.

(01:30:44):
But to be able to say hey in my own
way as well as a couple of others, I know
that I did my part in helping carve out that
niche where platforms like a Spreaker, where platforms even like YouTube,

(01:31:06):
where platforms even like could go, oh well, maybe these
shows that talk about wrestling and all that, maybe it's
not so bad after all. Maybe we actually can do
business with some of these guys. Maybe we can try
to make some money with you know. And that's not
ego talking, that's not delusion. Like the landscape was really

(01:31:30):
that it was the wild wild West back in the day.
Like if you had a simple blueprint, you know, like
the way we had it laid out back in the day,
I mean at our now I'm thinking about the YouTube phase.
That YouTube phase, we got to a point where we

(01:31:50):
entertained me quitting my regular nine to five because the
YouTube money that was coming in monthly like clockwork, was
that damn good, you know And then you know, it's
kind of you know so, but it makes me happy

(01:32:14):
to know that I've been at it for so long,
like I've seen all this and like now everybody's eating
and everybody is is eating good. It's like, you know,
so I take I take great comfort in that. And
and I also take great comfort when I hear somebody
say I grew up on you. Dam's hit that dead

(01:32:34):
on the no. It makes me feel old, especially now
that I got more gray popping up in my in
my beard and everything. I was looking at a picture
from eight years ago, and I started off with one
gray hair. Now I've got even more gray. That's uh,
that's popping up. It's uh. It makes me feel a

(01:32:57):
little sad. But I think about I think about where
things are now, and nothing puts a bigger smile on
my face sincerely than when I heard somebody say, hey,
I grew up listening to you. I started off in
high school. Now I'm in college or are right here, Hey,

(01:33:19):
I grew up on you and I got married, not
I have kids.

Speaker 3 (01:33:24):
It's like god, damn, yeah, yeah that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:33:32):
I love it. I love it though. I love it though.
Oh well, TAM's thanks for calling into the show. TAM's
my wife, by the way. I mean, she's literally downstairs,
but she could have easily just popped into the and
been sitting right here. But she doesn't have her beautiful
makeup on and all that. You know, she's in her

(01:33:55):
casual Friday where so I'm not gonna do her like that.
But I think we're gonna definitely not this weekend, but
maybe next weekend we'll do. Actually, no, we can't even
do next weekend because it's Thanksgiving weekend. So two weeks
from whatever, we'll do another wrestling with the topics for

(01:34:16):
you guys. This is whatever, you know, we'll do a
wrestling with the topics for you guys, and you'll see
her in the in the flesh again. Don't worry. But yeah,
for those of you that definitely want to, you know,
maybe call into the show or you want to, you know,
just continue to you know, post your comments. We'll definitely
show you some love, but I'll try not to stay

(01:34:37):
up too long. I'm like right behind you. I'm hoping
ten thirty, I'll be done with the show.

Speaker 3 (01:34:44):
Okay, Well, guys, thank you for the support of Lee
and the show for the past fourteen years. It's been,
you know, a great thing to see in, a great
thing to watch in. The community has been built. So
just wanted to say, you know, shout out and thank

(01:35:05):
you for you know, the many years and allowing you know,
Lee to pursue his passion. So have a good one, guys,
and thank you so much, and see you down the road.

Speaker 2 (01:35:17):
All right, love you, hun, I'll see it a little bit, y.

Speaker 1 (01:35:22):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
The wife he calling into the show was not expecting
her to be on that long. She's I asked her
because the way I pictured it in my head, I said,
do you want to stop by and chat for about
you know, twenty thirty minutes, just to shoot the ship
and you know, anybody else that maybe wants to call
into the show, we can bring them in and all

(01:35:43):
that other good stuff. And she was like, yeah, yeah,
you know, if you want me to set the tone
you're like, yeah, sure, go ahead do that. But I
told you guys the plan from Monday show. You know,
we were going to do like about a two and
a half hour show at most and everything. I don't
want to step on my friends in the podcasting worlds toes.

(01:36:03):
Like I know normally Jason does something on Friday nights,
so I don't really want to step on on his toes,
so at least not too much, not too much, just
just a little auchie ouch right, But no, Like I'm thinking, like,
you know, if we can be done by like ten thirty, like,

(01:36:25):
that'll be good. I have been seeing SmackDown while we've
been talking this whole time. I have been paying attention,
So let me see if I got this right. Cody
Roads ends up coming back pretty much costing Bronson Reed
the advancement in the Time is Now Tournament Last Time

(01:36:48):
is Now Tournament, helping out Carmelo Hayes there. So Carmelo
Hayes advanced. Okay, dragging off retained his United States championship.
There was something weird going on there with Chelsea Green
Julia little little run in there with Jay Cargy. I

(01:37:10):
don't know what the hell that was. About like I
didn't have the audio because unfortunately WWE they slap us
so fast with the content ID match. I don't want
the headache whatsoever. Let's see what's going on here, Chris
with the happy anniversary. Appreciate that Chris is also asking

(01:37:33):
the question, have I ever heard of All World Mid
Pro Shirtless Championship entertaining? What the hell? No, let's uh,
let's google that. It sounds I gotta be honest, it
sounds kind of silly, but let's uh, let's let's see
what's going on with that All Pro World Mid Pro

(01:38:01):
Jesus Christ. First of all, with a name like that,
that's too long. We need to trim that. And I
don't even see this thing ain't even popping up in YouTube.

(01:38:21):
What's going on here? It's not YouTube worthy? What's going
on here? I swear some of you guys are saying
stuff just to get me to say it. Come on, guys,
I'm looking for a see more but see more, but
still see more. But in the house, I'm trying to
see more. But let's see here. Oh my god, this

(01:38:47):
is actually a real thing. I'm trying. I see it.
I typed it in. I'm trying to, uh, well, the
website doesn't want to load up. It looks like the
website is not loading up. I'm actually looking at the website.

(01:39:09):
I don't know if somebody hasn't been on top of
the go Daddy bills or what, but it looks like
I won't be seeing it tonight. So I was I
was gonna wet my noodle there and see what the
hell that was all about. But let's see here. Yeah,
it's not my internet either, because my internet, I've got

(01:39:30):
YouTube TV on we got to stream obviously, and my
phone's on point yeah. Yeah, yeah, So I just try
to look it up. Chris Christian, I apologize, Christian. I
just try to look it up, but site's not loading up. No,
I've never heard it before. If you want to, hey,
little buddy, you want to come in here, I got

(01:39:54):
I got one of my second kids in here.

Speaker 7 (01:39:57):
That yeah, yeah, I chunky monkey, chunky monkey, chunky monkey baby,
chunky monkey baby.

Speaker 2 (01:40:10):
Yeah. You want to say hello to the people. You
want to say hello to the people out there for
daddy's for daddy's. So you guys, you long time listeners,
you probably remember Chloe. She has gotten nice and big
since since last time, nice and big. She is now
three to four. She's now four years old. She just

(01:40:32):
celebrated her birthday. What was it, matter of fact, earlier
this month. Earlier this month. She just celebrated a birthday.
So four years old, so that now makes her twenty eight.
She loves her cuddle time. She loves keeping me company.

(01:40:53):
She is like my shadow whenever I am just doing
my things. She does not like it when I get
out to bed. She's always fussing. But man, when she
knows that I don't have to deal with work or
classes and I'm just kind of lounging around, especially if
I'm kicking back in my recliner or I'm chilling in

(01:41:14):
the bed, she likes curling up next to me. Man,
and I love it. I love it. Ain't that right?
Ain't that right? Yeah? N chunky? Yeah good good. Did
you have a nice dinner? Huh? Did you have a
nice dinner? Yeah? All right, Yeah, he's got to do

(01:41:35):
a show, all right, So go ahead, all right, So
we got Finn Balor and Penta on right now. Some
of the in reaction that I've been seeing here tonight
been pretty solid. Don't worry, we'll go over the full
rundown for SmackDown overall. But you know, some of the

(01:41:56):
matches that they've had so far, really what's stuck to
me the most dragging off JD and we already know
Penta and Balor. That's definitely this should be a damn classic.
It should definitely be a damn classic. So I'm looking
forward to it. Yeah. Like I said, though, going back

(01:42:16):
to that Ajlee piece, I cannot wait for you guys
to read that. I'm really really glad that. So let
me explain this deep fake article that I've been working on. So,
this deep fake article that I've been working on like
since October, I would say mid October, I've been working
on it. Originally, this was supposed to be a class

(01:42:41):
project that I was supposed to turn in for one
of my classes, which I did, but I just started
thinking to myself, you know self, this story, it just
continues to develop. I don't feel like the story is complete,

(01:43:03):
not to the satisfaction of where I feel, you know,
it should truly be. I'd like to continue working on this.
So I made the decision to continue to work on
the story and everything. I'm really really proud of this,
of this piece that I wrote, and like I said,

(01:43:25):
I just need to get like a couple of more
people to interview for it, and I'm hoping that I
can get it published with one of my campus newspapers
at the university. I have a feeling they're probably gonna
I'm like pretty confident they're either gonna do two things.

(01:43:48):
They're either gonna publish it as it is, or they're
gonna say to me, you gotta trim this a little bit.
We need like eight hundred to a thousand words. I
hope they don't do that, because honestly, I'm not tooting
my own horn. The few people that I've had read it,
they said to me, you know, Cluton Tams, like this

(01:44:11):
is really really good, you know, and they're like, yeah,
if you can just interview, like maybe this person here,
get this perspective, like this will really really and it's
amazing how the a j Lee Penta won Penta b
Finn Balor So he advances nice. It was actually a

(01:44:32):
good match. I wish it would have been a little
bit longer, though it kind of seemed like it was
a little bit of a short match. Let me just
go back a little bit. So we're at the one
hour forty five minute mark. Let me see here, I'm
just scrolling back to try to see you know what

(01:44:55):
it was? The damn commercial break, That's what it was,
because it looks like the entering action didn't start until
a the one hour thirty five minute mark, and now
it's over at the one hour forty five minute mark.
So basically you had a ten minute match, but when
you add in the commercial break, you're basically looking at
about probably a six minute match. Yeah, yeah, not good.
All right, So we're looking at the updated tournament bracket

(01:45:16):
right now. All right, so we got jay Uso who's advance.
He's gonna be taken on Russif okay, and then La
Night is gonna be oh yeah, oh yeah, I almost
forgot about that. So for those of you that are

(01:45:37):
not aware, Seamus is unable to compete, Seamus is unable
to compete, so WWE they made that announcement earlier today
before SmackDown came on, so speedy recovery to Seamus. So

(01:45:59):
I don't know what the hell I think. Michael Colin
them are getting ready to mention what's going to happen there,
because originally it was supposed to be Shamous versus l A. Knight.
But I think they're gonna let us know what's going
to happen here with La Knight. I would imagine two scenarios.
Is either going to go down. Either La Knight automatically

(01:46:21):
get to pass and he's going to be awaiting the
winner of Ruseph and jay Uso or La Knight maybe
is going to face a mystery opponent in place of Seamus.
I mean that that very well could be possible too. Meanwhile,

(01:46:41):
we just told you Penta defeated Finn Balor, so he
advances to face Solo Sokoa. Meanwhile, Gunther will be taken
on Carmelo. Hey, so we're now down to the semi finals.
So it's getting there. It's getting there. Let me listen
for a little bit because I'm currere he is what's
gonna happen there with the l A. Knight situation? Let's

(01:47:15):
I'm listening. I'm still listening. Hang on, Yeah, so we
can now we can now confirm. Yeah, Seamus has an injury,
so he's out. That's it for him. Uh. They said

(01:47:37):
that Nick Old and Adam Pierce are talking right now
as they're trying to figure out who will face l A. Knight.
So they are trying to get a replacement for Seamus. Interesting,
very very interesting. Uh So we got solo Sokoa cutting

(01:47:58):
a little bit of a promo right now. We'll come
back to We'll check the notes later see what all
that was about and everything. So we got that some
other stuff that we can get into here on the
show too. By the way, look up some more stuff
that we can get into here. So we talked about

(01:48:18):
the aj Lee thing. I know. We got ae W
Full Gear that's gonna be coming up this weekend. No,
I will not be doing a post show for AEW
full Gear. Look, I love you guys, I do. There's
no bud in there. I'm just not in the mood

(01:48:40):
for essentially going into things giving week doing a post
show that's probably gonna come on at like one in
the morning because we know how aaw, how they liked
the role. I'm not interested in that. No. No, I
will be watching it though, so I'll be live tweeting.
So if you are going to be on social media

(01:49:02):
this weekend, you know you want to hear my thoughts
about Full Gear and then the Triple Mania event that's
going to be on definitely, like if you got the Twitter,
you got the Blue Sky just you know, hop on.
I'll sound off, give my thoughts and everything. But beyond that,
here's your card for ae w ful gear. Let's jump

(01:49:25):
into that right now. Looks like a pretty decent card. Hmm.
I think it's a decent card. I mean, but see
here's the thing. It doesn't really scream watch me, but
I'm gonna watch it anyway. But listen to the card.

(01:49:46):
Pre show match Boom and Doom, Big Boom AJ and
QT Marshall with Big Justice versus Rpgvice. That's Rocky Romero
and Trent Burretta. Another pre show match, Max Caster and
Anthony Bowens versus The Bang Bang Gang, Austin Gunn and

(01:50:07):
Jus Robinson versus Big Bill and Brian Keith versus The Outrunners,
Truth Magnum and Turboy Floyd. Two hundred thousand dollars four
way tag match. The winners will receive two hundred thousand
dollars cash money, money money. Third pre show matchup El
Sky Team, Mystico, Massacara Dorado and Neon versus The don

(01:50:32):
Kallis Families, Kazuska Okata Kolzuke Takesha and Hetcha Sero Trios
match for the CMLL World Triols Championship. Fourth pre show
matchup Hook and Eddie Kingston versus Work Horseman's Anthony Henry

(01:50:55):
and j. D. Drake Regular Card Chris stat Lander versus
Mercedes Monet Singles match for the AW Women's World Championship.
Oh not the other fourteen championships that Mercedes Monet has acquired.
She's not putting any of those up. Come on, man,

(01:51:15):
see here Hangman. Adam Page defends the AW World Championship
against Samoa Joe in a steel cage. Brodido Bendido and
Brody King take on ftr's Cash Wheeler Dax Hardwood Tag
match for the AW World Tag titles. Kenny Omega in
a Jurassic Expresses, Jack Perry and Lucasaurus face the Young

(01:51:41):
Bucks and Josh Alexander a million Dollar trios match. The
winners will receive one million dollars cash prize. Cash rule everywhere,
Wait aute, Cash rules everything around me. Cream get the money.
Dollar Dollar Billy is a little late, y'all gotta forgive me.

(01:52:01):
I I cleaned it up though. Then we got a
Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural aw National Championship participants
to be announced. Cal Fletcher takes on Mark Briscoe no
disqualification match for the AWTNT Championship. If Briscoe loses, he

(01:52:24):
will be forced to join the don Kalis family. Darby
Allen versus Pack Babes of Wrath, Willow Nightingale and Harley
Cameron versus the Sisters of Sin Julia Hart and Sky
Blue versus Timeless Love Bombs. That's Timeless Tony Storm and

(01:52:48):
Mina Shirakawa versus Meghan Bain and Marina Shaffir. It's a
four way tag match. Winning tag team chooses the stipulation
for their semi final match in the inaugural AEW Women's
World Tech Team Championship Tournament, and No holds barred John

(01:53:12):
Moxley versus Kyle O'Reilly. So, if you're keeping track, that's
thirteen matches total that we've got on the docket for
this weekend's Full Gear Crudential Center, New Jersey, November twenty second.

(01:53:32):
So yeah, thirteen matches, not till out of ten. That
thing's not going to be going off until about one
o'clock in the morning. I have now gotten to that
point where I don't know if it's maybe the old
man age kind of creeping up on me a little bit.
But I am appreciating going to bid at a decent hour.
I don't know about you guys. Oh, so we're closing

(01:53:59):
out SmackDown with the women. It looks like we've got
Charlotte Flair who's getting ready to come out. It appears, man,
she looks so pixelated, like is that my TV? Or
is that her lighting intro? What the hell? It looks

(01:54:22):
like she's coming out in two forty p quality. Man,
it looks really really bad. Okay, I didn't do anything wrong.
That was just how their setup was. That's very very weird.
That's very weird. Okay. So we got Alexa Bliss and

(01:54:45):
we got Charlotte Flair. They're coming out here, all right,
So they're basically gonna try to push the war games.
E ol Sky's coming out. Oh wow, she got a
little cowboy or cowgirl chaps on. I kind of like it.
She looks cute on her. I like it. And where's

(01:55:05):
real Ripley? Okay, there's real Ripley. Also, I guess Charlotte
and Ria Ripley. I guess they worked out their differences,
but I still can't help but wonder what was up
with that conversation that Ria had with aj. Remember we
were talking about that on the Monday Show and I

(01:55:29):
said to you guys, what do you suppose that was about?
Is it a case where maybe Ria wanted to just
since Charlie was acting the way that she was acting.
It was a case of Okay, well Charlie don't want
to help. Okay, I owe somebody else that I can
get to, which then kind of creates a interesting scenario.

(01:55:52):
Where does this mean that Becky Lynch is going to
be part of war games for the Kobuk Warriors Naya
jack slash legend in them makes you kind of wonder ooh,
and it makes me wonder. There's a feeling I get

(01:56:15):
when I look to the West. I know I'm butchering
a classic song. I'll stop anyway. The girls, they're still
coming out. So while they're still coming out, how about
the news about SmackDown going back to three hours in
twenty twenty six. Oof. I heard that news, and I'm

(01:56:41):
trying to think where I originally had heard that news,
because I want to give credit where credit is due,
because normally they have been very reputable. With the news
that they put out going back to three hours. I'll
know the name as soon as I see it, because

(01:57:02):
we never did get a chance to talk about this
alleged piece of news. Yeah, I first heard it and
saw it from Russell Votes. But it would appear that
Brian Alvarez, he's noting that the belief is that SmackDown

(01:57:24):
will be going back to three hours for a period
of time in twenty twenty six before switching back to
two hours again. But then Russell Votes they said, according
to sources, WW and USA Network have decided to move
smack Down back to three hours beginning with the January

(01:57:46):
Tewod show from Buffalo, New York. And they put that
out last week. That is atrocious. That is terrible, just terrible.
I like, I get it, sponsors, right, you've gotta get
that at revenue and everything. But Jesus Christ Man, Jesus

(01:58:08):
christ let's be real, some of these SmackDown shows they've
been kind of dragging. They really really have. You just
get to that point where you go, you know what,
it's good that we have two hours, because you know,
a lot of times I've watched SmackDown. I've watched SmackDown

(01:58:28):
more and more, and it's been a case where it's, Wow,
so a one match show for this week, or okay,
a two match show for this week. Okay, but now
we're gonna tack one a third hour. If you're gonna

(01:58:49):
do that for SmackDown, you gotta feature more of a
diverse roster that essentially is going to be exclusive to SmackDown.
You'll only be able to see them on SmackDown. So
I think you're gonna need to do some more call
ups between NXT and maybe you could start getting some
people involved from Evolve. And I'll tell you this much too,

(01:59:14):
wouldn't maybe hurt to maybe see a couple of folks
from TNA be transplanted on SmackDown for a little bit too,
if they can kind of work out the kinks. If
I am led to the impression by the way that
AMC is potentially a top contender for TNA Wrestling, I

(01:59:38):
don't know if you guys had saw some of those
reports that's running around, but I hear that, I go wow, wow,
that is just and officially aj Lee is being revealed
as their aj Lee is the fifth member. They just

(02:00:06):
unveiled her as the fifth Mender. She's coming out here.
She doesn't like what she's seeing. Oh and she just
got clotheslined and I called it. Becky Lynch just shoulder
tackled the hell out of her. She did the boots
counts her in the next week, Becky Lynch has laid
her out. So now we see what's going on here
with our women's war games here. Ooh, nice pump kick

(02:00:30):
by lash Legend. That girl got legs like, I don't
know what lash Legend got legs for days. Man, Jesus Christ,
that's one tall woman. And I tell you what her
and Nia Jackson as a team, love it, love it.
What's going on here? Oh? Man? Nya Jacks Becky Lynch

(02:00:55):
car saying they are doing a serious number on Ria
Ripley right now. All Naya's on the She just did
the bunseye drop bouncy bouncy on Rhea Dale. Damn laid

(02:01:16):
her out. All the girls are laid out as SmackDown.
Pretty much is going off the air here. Wow. Nia
Jackson has gotten even smaller. How is that? He? Oh
my god, every time I see her, she's getting smaller.
But like, no, like legit, she's getting even smaller and
smaller and smaller. She's getting back to her modeling shape

(02:01:44):
before the whole wrestling and all that. All right, So
that SmackDown SmackDown is now in the books, got that
off the air and stuff? That actually pretty good. I
like that they put the emphasis there on the women,
having the women close things out for this week's SmackDown.
But yeah, you know, going back to the talk of

(02:02:06):
TNA wrestling, wouldn't that be interesting though, Like TNA wrestling
on AMC. Look at this point, I watch a lot
of AMC, a lot of AMC, and it's so weird.
I haven't heard a lot of people talk about this
because this is actually a really big deal. This is
a huge deal, you know, if it falls through and everything,

(02:02:29):
this is a huge, huge deal. So I have been
watching AMC religiously, I would say, Man, I would say,
I've been watching AMC religiously for about it feels like

(02:02:53):
maybe twenty years. If it's been longer than that, I'd
be surprised to you know, because then it's like, well,
if it's been beyond twenty years, are we sure AMC
was even called that, you know, way back then? So
I say that to say I've seen a lot of
good programming on AMC, from The Walking Dead, Freaking Better

(02:03:17):
Call Salt, Breaking Bad. You know, you think AMC, you
think about all the you know, retro movies. Uh, you
know that they'll show in everything. So AMC is you know,
a very transitional period right now. And what I mean

(02:03:41):
by that is the shows that they have been relying
on the most for their bread and butter, like they
are no more. You know, for years they had Breaking Bad.
When that ended, they were able to go right into
Better Call Sault. You know that ended, they tried to
do an other joint with Bob Bob Audenkirk, Audenkirk with

(02:04:08):
Lucky Hank I think that was the name of the show,
didn't do too good, got canned. So while that was
kind of doing its own thing, working itself out, they
still had the Walking Dead franchise Regular Walking Dead that

(02:04:29):
wrapped up a couple of years ago, you know. Spun
from that was The Walking Dead Dead City that basically
chronicles the adventures of Nagan and Maggie. If I remember correctly,
I believe that series is supposed to be coming back

(02:04:51):
for potentially one more season. Let me just confirm that.
And then meanwhile, you've got another spin off of the
Walking Dead franchise, Walking Dead Daryl Dixon, and that has
officially been announced to come back for a final season. Now,

(02:05:14):
from what I'm seeing right now, Dead City is supposed
to be coming back for a third season. I'm not
seeing anything about final season. It just says it's been
renewed for a third season. But meanwhile, the Daryl Dixon franchise, Yeah,
that's coming back for one more season and then that's
gonna be it. But like my whole point is, oh, yeah,

(02:05:38):
let's not also forget there was the Walking Dead. What
was it Fear to Walking Dead? Yeah, there's fear to
Walking Dead, you know, so that ultimately got phased out too,
So you know those things, those Walking Dead franchises. YEA,
am season a unique position when it comes to that
particular franchise because unless you're doing a situation where you

(02:06:05):
are doing a whole new show with a new cast,
you know, some of those og characters like Meagan, Carol, Maggie, right, Darryl, Like,
those are some expensive salaries. Those are some expensive salaries,

(02:06:28):
even if you're only doing a ten episode arc. Just
the amount of money that is going to cost per episode,
and then you're thinking about the talent salary, all the
extras you gotta use, shooting on location, all that stuff. Right.
So AMC is in a little bit of a unique

(02:06:52):
position right here. I know they also got the interview
with the Vampire series or whatever, But like AMC, it's
not quite where it used to be from back in
the day when they had Mad Men, and I just
remember that great golden period of television that was going

(02:07:16):
on with them back in the day where it just
seemed like AMC could do no wrong at all. But
now again as an AMC viewer, longtime AMC viewer, it
kind of seems like the well is starting to dry
a little bit for them. So they hear that they're
going to be going in potentially the wrestling market and

(02:07:38):
that potentially TNA Wrestling is going to be landing with.
I think it works out beautifully. It works out beautifully,
you know, especially when you look at some of the
programming that is on for AMC. I mean, let's be honest,
let's be honest, unless it is the way AMC does

(02:08:01):
it Sundays is there, Hey, we're gonna premiere this this
new original series. We're gonna premiere this, and then sometimes
they'll do something on a Monday as well. But like
usually their main meat and potatoes. It is actually, you
know what, now that I think about it, Hold on

(02:08:22):
a second, I was getting ready to ask, I was
getting ready to ask the wifey what day of the
week did Better Call Saw come on? I kind of
feel like Better Call Saw was coming on either Mondays
and or Tuesdays. Yeah, I'm almost almost certain like Mondays

(02:08:46):
and or Tuesdays it was coming on us. So Sunday, Monday, Tuesdays.
AMC likes to play around with new original programming. Any
other time, they're basically showing retro movies. I remember a
time where AMC used to show black and white movies.
They but they stopped that like a long, long, long

(02:09:08):
time ago. You're lucky if you can even get episodes
of the Three Stooges for a half hour. So if
they were to land on AMC that TNA wrestling, that
would really be a damn good deal for them. You know,
they definitely would have such a great think about the

(02:09:31):
amount of households that access AMC. I didn't hear anybody
talk about this but you think about the amount of
households that, like everybody in their mama, Like, it doesn't
matter who your cable, you know, satellite provider is like everybody,

(02:09:55):
or if you're going with Sling TV or whoever, like
everybody had as AMC. Like last I checked, I think
they got like a little over ninety million. I believe
I believe over ninety million households are able to tap

(02:10:17):
into AMC. So that's that's pretty damn good. That's pretty
damn good. So definitely TNA would have a lot more
eyeballs on their product. Dare I say, perhaps like the
entire time that they have just been on TV in general.

(02:10:40):
So you know, if you're hearing that news and you
kind of like the prospects, especially after I broke it
down a little bit more for you guys, you're definitely
kind of you know, you're pulling for them. And then
if they're not able to get that deal with If

(02:11:01):
they're not able to get that deal with AMC, I've
been saying it consistently, look not for nothing. But if
they're able to work something now and they end up
going to CW, like that wouldn't be bad either. There's
nothing wrong going with you know, c W, may for

(02:11:22):
God's sake, we got Wild Women of Wrestling that comes
on the CW on the weekends. So that kind of
lets me know right there that WW is definitely willing
to oh you know, it's Wild Women of Wrestling, like,
you know, sure, no problem, what the hell? So not
the end of the world. Not the end of the world.

(02:11:45):
So we had SmackDown go off the air not that
long ago. Thank you for those of you that's tuning
in right now. Shout out everybody that's tuning in checking
out the fourteenth anniversary edition of the RCWR show. We've
been on for a couple of hours. Now we're gonna

(02:12:05):
go just a little bit longer. We're probably gonna go
about maybe like an additional twenty five minutes, and then
we pretty much are gonna stick a fork in it
be done for the evening. So some quick notes in
regards to tonight's SmackDown, just giving you guys the quick
results everything that had played out tonight. We did have

(02:12:27):
the continuation of not one oh oh, hang on hang
on here, lost connection, hang on here, lost connection, hang on,
hang on, hang on reconnecting. There we go and let's

(02:12:57):
bring my overlay back here we go. All right, we're back.
Hang on a second, guys, all right, we're back. Sorry
about that. That was kind of weird. What happened just now? Anyway? Yeah?
What was I saying last? We had a little bit

(02:13:21):
of a hiccup there? Hang on, I cannot remember what
I was getting ready to touch upon there. Forgive me.
It's the old man age man telling you man, it's real.
Shit is real. SmackDown, that's what we were doing. Spack down,
quick results for you guys. So we had not one
but two continuing matches there for the last time is

(02:13:46):
now tournament. We had Carmelo Hayes defeat ronson reed thanks
to a little bit of interference there by, Cody Rhodes
and Penta uh defeated Finn Balor Shamus. He's out with injury.

(02:14:08):
So as a result of that storyline right now is
Nick Aldi and Adam Pierce are trying to find a
Oh Wrett, who Matt? Hang on here? Try this looks
like we're disconnected again. What's going on here? I don't

(02:14:31):
know what's going on, guys. I don't know what's going on.
I'm trying to look at one particular set of notes,
and every time I try to go look at those notes,
apparently it doesn't like that and we keep getting disconnected.
So that's really really weird. I'm just gonna leave it alone.
And That's never happened before as long as I've been

(02:14:53):
doing the show bad Seriously, that's like never happened before.
It's really really weird. Anyway. Yeah, so Seamus he is
out with an injury. We got Adam Pierce and who
is it Nick Aldison's storyline, they're trying to find a
replacement for Seamus. That replacement is gonna face La Night

(02:15:16):
and then whoever wins that basically will advance into the
semi final. I Meanwhile, on the other side, we've got Gunther,
who if I remember the brackets right, Gunther will now
face Carmelo Hayes. Yeah, Gunther will now face Carmelo Hayes. Penta,

(02:15:38):
Oh my god, I'm trying to think who Penta will
be facing. I'll tell you what. Let me pull up
the last time is now tournament because I'm having a
hard time remembering that last name. Unfortunately, let me see

(02:16:00):
here I had it before. Let me try Saturday Night
main event. I really should try to bookmark this. Okay,
all right, bear with me a second. Here, I'm gonna
have it. Yep, there it is, and a few more seconds. Okay,

(02:16:25):
here we go, right, goonther will face Carmelo Hayes. Correct,
am I remembering this?

Speaker 1 (02:16:38):
Right?

Speaker 2 (02:16:39):
Hang on? Here? So goother faces Carmelo Hayes, yep, Panta
and Solo Soca. Yeah, that's ain't that funny? I blanked
out on Solo Socoa. I don't know if that's a
good thing or a bad thing. I gotta be honest
with you. I don't know if that's a good thing
or a bad thing. The fact that I'm like, I

(02:16:59):
keep blinking out on the guy. I mean, he has
his moments though, right where he can be really entertaining
and all that, But I don't know. Sometimes he kind
of is an afterthought for me. I don't know why
that is, but yeah, sometimes that's the case. There kind
of sucks. Let's see what else I don't know about you.

(02:17:22):
I really don't want to talk anymore about SmackDown. We
pretty much kind of showed it a decent amount of
love in real time while it was one right, I mean,
I think it was a good show for the most
part from what I was able to see. But man,
like I was saying a few minutes ago, Jesus, next
year they're going back to three hours. That is going

(02:17:45):
to be rough. That is really really going to be rough.
If you miss SmackDown the two matches, I'm going to say,
go out of your way and watch from tonight's SmackDown.
Watch the United States Championship match as draggon Off defended
against JD McDonough. And I'm also going to point out
Finn Balor versus Penta, even though commercial really ate that

(02:18:09):
match up. Unfortunately, you know it was a ten minute
match when you put in the commercials. When you factor
in the commercials, basically you had yourself a six minute
match if you were lucky. Interesting note, Nikki Bella had commented,
I believe on her podcast she does with her sister

(02:18:30):
Breed that this current run that we're seeing of her
in WWEE this will be her last stand. This will
be her final run and then she's pretty much gonna
stick a fork in it and be done. I know
I can hear so many people rejoice to that. I

(02:18:54):
don't even laugh, but I mean, seriously, I know there's
a decent about people. That's like good because that spot
could go towards and you can fill in whatever blank
and everything. I mean, look, the nicky Bella returned this go.
It really hasn't done anything for me personally. It really hasn't.

(02:19:18):
And I'm not being mean, I'm legit. I'm just being honest, right,
And I get why WWE would want to try going
down this rabbit hole because they probably saw what was
going on there with Tristratus and oh man, look at
the reactions that she's getting. Hey, the girl can still go.
You know, you know, I don't know, I don't know, man.

Speaker 3 (02:19:41):
But.

Speaker 2 (02:19:44):
Nikki, I can't. I can't wait to see her off
my TV soon enough, because it's just she's not needed.
She's just not just good eye candy. That's it. That
is it, straight up just good. I can't And there's
nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that, especially
for the time in which she was coming up in WWE.

(02:20:07):
Remember she was coming up during that time where basically
it was all about sex appeal, that's what was really selling.
So the fact that you had, wow, not one, but
two girls that looked the same, Oh my god, Nikki
Bella Bribell Oh, my god, twins and they're hot. Oh twins,
and you know, oh, we can market this, and they

(02:20:29):
pretty much tried to build the entire division around those women.
Not one of my fondest moments when I look back
on certain areas of WWE. Definitely that Women's division, that
ugly ass Divas Championship. Speaking of championships, did you guys

(02:20:54):
see the new Undertaker Legacy Championship running around right now
on WWE shop? Oh my god, you got to take
out like part of your mortgage payment or car payment
if you want this belt. This thing is going to
cost you, and I would imagine after taxes, you're probably

(02:21:16):
going to be looking at about eight hundred and seventy
two dollars give or take. I know that was very specific,
but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm about accurate there.
So you get this legacy title that basically honors the
Undertaker and is thirty five years in the WWE. Again,

(02:21:40):
you're looking at about eight hundred and forty nine dollars
plus taxes. Apparently this is limited. There's only four hundred
and seventy five of these belt designs, So maybe you'll
be part of that crew I don't know. You all
are more than welcome to look at it. For me.
I'm looking at this, and I mean it's nice. I

(02:22:09):
I personally wouldn't get it. Let me tell you who
this is for. Let me tell you who this is for,
because this definitely is not for me. I'm not the audience, obviously,
and I don't mind admitting that this is for the
hardcore WWE fan. This is for the hardcore Undertaker fan.

(02:22:30):
There's nothing wrong with that. Okay. Now, if you are
that casual wrestling fan, you're probably gonna look at this
and you're gonna go, yeah, it's all right. But I
can do a whole lot more with almost one thousand dollars, Lee,
I could go get this, this, this, this, this, this,

(02:22:51):
this all on ww shop and have a lot to
show for than just going to get this. Now, we
will be an ice incentive for this belt. Was if hey,
it's one hundred and forty nine dollars. But but you
get Undertaker's personal autograph. Now that don't mean, you know,

(02:23:15):
to my dear friend Joe, No, you just you get
his signature on the belt. He has actually autographed each one,
maybe even numbered it or whatever. Now, if they were
to maybe kind of do that, then I would say, well,
that ain't really too bad. Might be worth it. Now,

(02:23:41):
if you got money to blow around, I would still say, oh,
pumped bricks. But but if you planned on taking this
doing a meet and greet, having undertakers sign it, okay

(02:24:04):
to each its own. But for me, for this legacy title,
it's a hard pass for me. But the design looks
really cool. Design looks really really cool. So check it out.
You know, I wonder if you could get that on
Zip payments because I know if you have a really

(02:24:25):
good set of spinning power on Zip, you know you
might be able to pay that often about eight installments
because I know Zip started introducing eight installment payments. Take advantage, y'all.
I'm just telling you, take advantage, y'all. See the news

(02:24:47):
about Nick Hogan talking about potentially wrestling, saying that it's
in his blood. God bless it, Nick, really, God bless
that dude, the fact that he had to. It's just
that whole family, just what they're going through right now.
No matter how we may personally feel about the Haulkster

(02:25:10):
obviously strong opinions on so many sides, but one common
thing we all can agree on is yo, this family
and what they're going through, especially going into these holidays.

(02:25:31):
This is going to be I mean, really let that
settle in. This is going to be their first major
set of holidays that the Haulkster isn't going to be
around and right, so I can only imagine. And nobody
likes losing a loved one in general, but it really

(02:25:55):
really really stings when you get close to that thing,
giving holiday, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and
all that. So my thoughts are definitely with the family, friends, colleagues, fans.
But to hear Nick Hogan say anah, say my blood,

(02:26:18):
I mean he's thirty five going on thirty six. Shouldn't
he had been got to jump on some type of
a wrestling career. I mean like awfully late, late late,
bloomer loud. Now, look, you talking to somebody that is
very very positive. Now, now I will be one of

(02:26:39):
the few, the only that will say, well, if you're
really serious about this, don't talk, put in the work.
Go ahead, put in the work. It's never too late.
I'm optimistic like that. I will say, it's never too late. Look,

(02:27:00):
you're talking to somebody that at the age of forty four,
got their associate's degree in media production. You're talking to
somebody that is currently you know, that successfully transfer to
a prestigious university that's working on their bachelor's in journalism.

(02:27:25):
And I will have my bachelor's in journalism with a
minor in sociology by the time I am forty seven,
so in about two and a half years. So you
know to that, I say, you know, to Nick Hogan

(02:27:47):
and anybody else, don't let your age determine what you
can't and can't do. If you're serious about doing it,
then be willing to put in the work. I think
as long as you have a really good system that

(02:28:08):
is in place, a really good, tight net circle of
friends and family that is most encouraging, and they're steering
you in the right direction. You got them to rely
on for moral support and everything, then I say go ahead,
you know, lean on that and pursue whatever that interest

(02:28:33):
is in everything. I think the real question that a
lot of us should be asking in regards to Nick
Hogan is can he stay out of trouble? You know,
because we've seen our fair share of circumstances with this
man over the years. I'm thinking about something that had

(02:28:55):
happened as recent as twenty twenty three, Dui and all that.
You know, can he can he keep his nose clean?
It's gonna be the real real deal. Can he keep
his nose clean? Only time will tell. But if he's
really serious about putting in the work and everything, you know,

(02:29:16):
you can't just say it. You actually, you gotta be
about it. You gotta have that dog in you. You gotta
be showing to whoever, whoever those prospects are that you know. No,
I'm I'm I'm really taking this seriously. I really am
trying to be a better person, a bigger person. I

(02:29:40):
really am trying to do better in general, you know.
And only time is really going to tell, you know,
does he have the physique of his I mean, come on, no,
I mean that dude was the Halksure, was in a
league of his own. I mean, let's be let's be
for real. But only time. Meanwhile, Soreya page, She says

(02:30:04):
that she's going to start training again in January, says
that Natalia has asked her to train at the Dungeon.
She had recently gave the interview to the Toronto Sun,
and she addressed the question about when fans might see

(02:30:25):
her back in the ring. I want to read to
you the full quote that she put out there. She said,
I've had a wonderful year to dip my toe into
outside the wrestling world, and it's been wonderful and I
have loved it and enjoyed it. But once you're a wrestler,
you always miss it. I'm starting to get the bug
for it again. I went through a stage where I

(02:30:47):
kind of fell out of love with it for a second.
If that was at any point during aw it kind
of showed I'm just being honest. I need to take
a break from it, and that was the whole goal.
I have found a new love and passion for it again.
I'm going to get into training in January and we'll

(02:31:08):
see where that takes me. If I were to ever
come back, not saying I am, but if I were,
I want to be at the top of my game
and be wrestling better than I was back in NXT.
That's my goal. Natty wants me to go down to
the dungeon. I was like, absolutely, I miss it. I

(02:31:30):
love it. I think the percentage of me going back
is a lot higher. Now. We'll see where it goes.
So you know, it's funny because when I was reading
that earlier today, one of the first things that I
thought about was I don't know why it just popped

(02:31:52):
in my head, but I read it and I automatically
thought about the poor fan that was out WWE event
that had a page sign and that sign got confiscated,
and I remember it made me and a couple of others,
you know, say publicly, what's what's going on here? What's

(02:32:14):
the real deal here? Like she doesn't even work for
the company, Why are we confiscating the sign? Like it's
no harm, no foul, not unless maybe something's on the
horizon that we don't necessarily know about, or like what
the hell is this about? But I could tell, and

(02:32:38):
I wish the interviewer would have been like, Hey, what
you're feeling? How you were feeling? You know, were you
feeling that way in ae W, because I'm telling you
a lot of times that I was watching Soreya in
AW it seemed like she was phoning it in. I
can remember doing my weekly ae W rampaid shows coverages

(02:33:04):
that I was doing for the full one Mania website
as a columnist. I would even do Dynamite and those
Battle with the Belt specials, and a lot of times
it just seemed like Soreya was legit phoning the shit in.
Some of it was just looking kind of sloppy. Some

(02:33:27):
of it was looking like what I was getting, like legit,
like legit. She seemed disinterested, she seemed disengaged. She might
have been there physically, but it just seemed like headspace
why she was somewhere else. So and you know, sometimes

(02:33:48):
when you get to that point where hey, I don't
know if I really have the heart for this anymore.
I don't really know if my is really in this
more than a good enough reason to take a step
back and go, you know what, let me back away

(02:34:09):
from this, Let me try to see what else I
can I can maybe do. Let me get out of
this now, because otherwise I I would be what's the
right words I'm looking for? If I don't eliminate myself
from this scene now, not only could I hurt myself,

(02:34:32):
but I hurt my dance partner. There's nothing wrong with
taking a step back sometimes, that's what That's what a
lot of us need to do. We kind of got
the intimate setting going on here too, with the with
the lights. Let me just see how it looks if
I were to turn on. I only got my main
side light on here, but normally I have this other

(02:34:53):
light that's on. I just I was feeling, just I
wanted to be on an intimate zone to That's how
I was feeling. I just wanted to be in that
cool intimate zone. And I gave you guys a little
bit more light just so you know. I wasn't trying
to go full Barry White on you guys and everything.
Speaking of Barry White, I don't know why this just

(02:35:16):
popped up in my head, but for some reason, I'm
thinking about Beavis and butt Head. Now, have you guys
watched the newest season of Beavis and butt Head. I
love it. I'm loving it, and I love the fact
that Comedy Central is now the new home for showing
episodes of Beavis and Button and then of course you

(02:35:37):
can watch it next day on Paramount Plus and all that.
But I'm loving the newest season. Man, It's freaking hilarious,
my funny, my most favorite funniest episode so far from
the revival of the series. I love the one episode
where I think Beavis Beavis decides that the way that

(02:36:06):
him and but he can avoid eviction is by uh,
it's so stupid. Man, Like I'm just I'm sorry, I
don't be the lab but like I'm thinking about this
and I'm going, Yo, that is like the dumbest fucking

(02:36:29):
thing I've ever heard in my life. But no, there's
one episode of Beavis in but Head where they get
an eviction notice or whatever, and yeah, they kind of
make the decision, well, you know, the way that we
can kind of you know, beat this is but it's like,
if I get so fat, they won't be able to

(02:36:53):
even move me out of the door. So let's go
ahead and let's stuff my face and stuff is so good,
you know, I'll gain so much weight and yeah, yeah,
then then we'll So that was a really hilarious episode.
And then I love the stuff that they've been doing
with Tom Anderson. They just did this new joint where

(02:37:16):
it's Tom Anderson vacation stories and you got older Beavis
and butt Head. They were kind of messing around with
him while he was trying to tell some vacacious story.
By the way, speaking of older Beavis and butt Head,
I think that's been the most coolest thing that Mike
Judge has been able to lean into is Hey, how

(02:37:40):
would an older Beavis and butt Head be operating in
today's world? Like if they were around you know, me
and my wife and our friend's age, Like, yeah, what
would that look like seeing a modern day Beavis and
But what would they be up to? And all that?
And I love when we get to see older Beavis

(02:38:04):
and butt Head. It don't miss a step man, but yeah,
check it out. Good stuff. One of my guilty pleasures
when I'm trying to decompress and check out something non
wrestling related. Let's see. Other than that, we're out about
the two hour and thirty eight minute mark. Now it's

(02:38:28):
not a relatively quiet week as far as like the
wrestling news goes and all that, which is good, which
is good. I love when we got these nice slow
weeks like what we have right now. Let's see last
call for those of you that want to maybe get
in some comments before we get ready to shut it down. Also,

(02:38:48):
if anybody wants to call into the show, let me know.
Shout out to friends of the podcasting world. If you
got the Twitter X, just slide in DM real quick,
or you know, if you got the uh, you got
my cell phone number. You could definitely go ahead and
call in. I'll uh, I'll buy you a couple of minutes.

(02:39:10):
But otherwise, you know, I'll say this. I'll say this
as we get ready to wrap up for the night here,
you know, kind of going back to what TAM's was
talking about earlier. I remember when I had first started
doing this show. It was it was it was a challenge.

(02:39:35):
I was doing this show and I was in front
of the printer and I would be printing out, like,
my god, twenty thirty fucking pages of like wrestling related
news or whatever, and I'd have me a little fucking
highlighter and I would just be like going through, you know,

(02:39:56):
you know, we'll talk about this and you know all
this other you know, my god, those first two three
years was rough. First two the three years was rough. Rough, rough, man,
I'm telling you. But if you would have told me
way back then that, you know, hey, this passion project

(02:40:23):
of yours, this little passion hobby of yours, not only
would it put you in a position where you would
be able to meet and make new friends, you know,
friendships that I value to this very day. Like I'd

(02:40:46):
be like, wow, really like that doesn't seem you know,
because I mostly was a loner, you know. I was
always just chilling, doing my own thing. So that's kind
of cool, you know. And it's not even so much
about it. I know, wife, he brought it up earlier,
but like just the people that I've been able to interview, that.

Speaker 8 (02:41:07):
Doesn't even really I mean, don't get me wrong, but
that doesn't even really you know, for me, I think
the bigger picture is when I take a step back
and I just look.

Speaker 2 (02:41:17):
At how long I've been sticking to this and how
it's manifested into everything that we just talked about, you know,
with the associate's degree now working on the bachelor's you
know again, you know, kind of going back to what

(02:41:39):
I had said in regards to the Nick Hogan thing, like,
if there's one thing that I'm kind of learning a
little bit later in life, don't box yourself in a corner,
you know what I mean. You know, if there's something
that you've all ways set out to do, I mean, yeah,

(02:42:06):
you know, life gets in the way, but try to
do your best to not live life with regrets, you know.
I don't know, that's that's just kind of as I'm
getting older, I'm really kind of being a little bit
more reflective on stuff like that and everything. So I

(02:42:28):
would say, you know, if you got a passion for something,
you know, definitely stick to it, see it all the
way through. Try to look at it from a bigger
picture and ask yourself if you're willing to dedicate that
time and necessary resources to make it happen. Right again,

(02:42:49):
it also comes down to, you know, what type of
a good support system that you that you have in
your corner and all that. You know. But you know,
I remember when I got that associate's degree. I said
this before and what I said to each of these individuals,

(02:43:11):
that's between me and them. Man, if they want to
share what I had said out in the open, that's
up to them, you know. But I had recorded this video,
and I recorded this video that I had shared with
those that I felt played a huge impact on this

(02:43:35):
incredible journey that I continue to be on in everything,
and whenever I needed some type of inspiration or maybe advice,
some would give me that advice in their own inadvertent way,
you know, without kind of realizing it and all that.

(02:43:56):
But you know, I I I finally got that degree
in the mail a couple of weeks back, you know,
I hit them up and I recorded the video of me.
I'm boxing the video and it's a good moment, man,
it's a really good moment, you know, from a kid

(02:44:17):
that grew up on the South Side of Chicago in
the nineteen eighties. Rough childhood, I was putting it mildly,
rough childhood. I probably should not even be here right now.

(02:44:38):
That's how rough of a childhood I had. I probably
should not even be here right now. Legit had somehow
been able to knock on wood, you know, kind of
kind of crazy, yeah, lolst A lot of good people

(02:44:59):
along way, man, A lot of good people. Too many
people to even think about here, you know, to mention,
you know, too many names to go over. We lost
a lot of good people over the years. A lot
of them I still think about to this very day,
some people that were very near and dear to my heart.

(02:45:20):
And I kind of wonder what would they think about
this me that's running around right now, you know, and like,
and I hope I'm doing them proud somehow in their memory,
you know, little little stuff like that. You know. It's
so funny too, when I, uh, once in a Blue Moon.

(02:45:47):
I'll mention too, and just passive conversation. I'll mention to somebody, hey,
you know, yeah, you know I've been doing this podcast,
you know. And then when they hear how long I've
been doing, it's like wait, how long you know? And
I tell them and it's like wow. So like so

(02:46:09):
you know a thing or two. It's like, you know,
and I'm honest, I'm always modest, I'm not ego tripping,
but I go, I know a little somethings. I'm you know,
I'll give you a perfect example. So, like, there was
this workshop earlier in the year that I had went to.
It was part of a FaceTime with the pros event,

(02:46:30):
and I was like, oh, they're doing a little podcasting.
I'm like, well, I know a thing or two about
podcasting workshops and all I'm like me, you know, well,
not the workshops, but I know a thing or two
about podcasting. So it was well, let me go to
this workshop, let me see what they're about. I knew

(02:46:50):
more than the instructor that was teaching it. Like it
got to a point where the instructor was asking me
and like it was one other person. There was like
this other person that was in there. He probably had
been podcasting for about four years, I want to say,

(02:47:12):
but even he was kind of doing like a double take,
like when he heard at that point it was thirteen
years and he was like, you know, looking at me,
like and even afterwards, hey, man, like, so where do
you da da da da da? And I'm like, oh,
and I'm just writing shit down for him real quick,
so he can, you know, get at it. But no,

(02:47:34):
I had the instructor for the workshop go and well,
what could you tell us? Like you know at all that?
So it's kind of funny. It's kind of funny. I
loved it. I fucking loved it. We've been here covering
a lot of crazy shit on this show over the years,

(02:47:54):
a lot of highs, a lot of lows, but we've
covered it all. And you know, my model, keeping it honest,
keeping it insightful, keeping it interactive. And I don't care
if I'm entertaining one person or if I'm entertaining twenty

(02:48:17):
thirty one hundred, you know, doesn't matter to me. I
always never take for granted those of you that go
out of your way to check out the show, whether
you check it out live, you check it out on
demand or you check it out on the downloads. Always
appreciate you guys that take the time out and you

(02:48:38):
check out the content, like it's a love love relationship.
You know. Even the haters that have continued to troll
me over the years, I'll deal with right on Q.
I'll deal with a troll that's got to put in

(02:48:58):
a little something something, And I've gotten so mellowed out.
I've aged out so much that like, don't even phase me.
Don't even phase me at all. It's like, is that
your best shot? Like like really, like is that it?

(02:49:20):
Like whatever? Anyway? You know, And what they fail to
realize is that if they really stop and they kind
of really think about it, it's like wait a minute.
First of all, how young am I? And it's like, God,
I'm messing with this guy that's almost fifty, Like what
does that say about me and my priorities and where

(02:49:41):
my headspace is at? Like I really need to go
touch grass or something because I got my priorities all
wrong here to be tripping over individual like you know,
but nah, Like even the trolls to a certain degree,
I even appreciate because you know, they kind of not

(02:50:04):
really keep me on my toes. But they in their
own way, they kind of keep me motivated to always
strive for better and all that. So kind of weird
how I'm spending that right, but it but no, that's
like legit the truth. That's like legit the truth bad.
You know, I'm feeling a little reflective though, you know,

(02:50:30):
you guys gotta forgive me. I'm just feeling a little
a little reflective because you know, I was telling it earlier.
I don't know how much longer I'm going to be
doing this show. I really really don't. I would love
the continue to do this show for another fourteen years.
I'm hoping that I can do this show for another
fourteen years. But because of the industry i'm gonna be

(02:50:52):
going into I'm a little I'm a little concerned. I'm
a little concerned because I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know, guys, I don't know. I want to
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to just lay
down and go I'm not doing the show anymore, you know,

(02:51:12):
But I just have a feeling that for the industry
I'm trying to get into that they're gonna be like,
you can't do that show. I'm hoping that's not the case,
because I feel like the first handful of years doing
this show was all about me trying to find myself,

(02:51:33):
find my voice, find my groove, and then just year
in year route perfect right, and now I'm starting to
feel like, you know, now it's just secondhand nature. Man,
It's like you There's a favorite line that I like

(02:51:54):
from a Stone Tiple Pilot song. It goes, breathing is
the hardest thing to do. I remember one of the
first times I heard that lyric, I sung it to
my mother and she bust up laughing. She knew the
song because she was a big Stone Tiple Pilots fan herself.
She started busting up laughing and she goes, it's like

(02:52:15):
the dumbest fucking verse of the whole song. I'm like,
what are you talking about. She's like, no, think about it.
And I'm like, well, maybe breathing is the hardest thing.
She's like, no, you like, you don't even think about it,
Like if you're thinking about it, and she said that,
she said, if you think about it, then you're dead.

(02:52:35):
I was like, well, you kind of got a good
point there, ma, Yeah, it's a good point, but we'll
see what happens. Because like now that I'm finally starting
to find my groove, like the shows are just secondary.
It's just I put on a glove like it's that easy.
You know. It's like before I leave out the door

(02:52:57):
keys in the pocket, right, you got your great Like
I don't even think about it. I'm just in autopilot
mode when I'm doing this shit and everything. So before
I get ready to dip, I want to take this
time out and thank some of our sponsors because and
friends of the show as well, because without them, this

(02:53:17):
crazy thing that I've been doing for the past fourteen years,
just I probably would have phoned it in a long
time ago. So first off, I want to thank my friends,
Miss Thomas, Joe, Numbers of Wrestling Soup. Miss, particularly anytime
that I've needed to pick his brain on something, some

(02:53:39):
type of advice, the guy's always been willing to lend
me his ear, teach me a few things. It's kind
of funny now it's kind of gotten to the point
where now Miss is like, all right, school guy, you know,
show me what you've learned, you know what's going on,
And I like showing him what I've been learning so
far and all that you know. Also shout out to

(02:54:04):
Jason Solomon. Solomonster sounds off good dude, and it warms
my heart to know, like legit, he's now in a
position where he was finally able to ditch his nine
to five gig and he is following his passion. He's
following his dream. It kind of goes back to what

(02:54:27):
I was talking to earlier. If you have that passion,
you you know, find that purpose in life.

Speaker 6 (02:54:33):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:54:34):
Again, you know, sometimes life gets in the way, sometimes
stuff happens, but try to do your best to not
live life with regrets, right, you know, Oh I could
have should have, like you know now more than ever.
Like you're talking to somebody that I was supposed to
have a boxing match this year, but because I did

(02:55:00):
not know and anticipate how hectic my class schedule was
going to be, it was like, oh, so now my
friends and family they're like, so what are you gonna
do about that boxing giant? Like are you still going
to pursue boxing or now you're justin? And I told
them flat out, I said no, I am still going

(02:55:21):
to pursue boxing. And they're like, well, when are you gonna.
I'm like, I don't know, I said, but you know,
if I'm not able to do it while I'm pursuing
my degree right now, like Rust assured, as soon as
I get that degree, I'm going in training mode, right

(02:55:43):
I will. I will box while being a news reporter
at the same time. I just want to get my
one fight out the way and that'll be it. I
just would to get my one fight out the way,
and that'll be it. Shout out to Julian Cannon of
The Nocturnal and Is to Day. I love that dude.
He's awesome. I love anytime he has a new article up.

(02:56:07):
I love reading uh what he what he's got. You know,
that guy. He knows the grind, he knows the hustle.
Me and him are like two sides of the same coin,
essentially very very similar, very similar but similar paths that
we have embarked on and everything good, dude. I also

(02:56:32):
want to give a shout out to the name I
haven't mentioned in a in a good minute, but you know,
I've been kind of hoping that he's been well, just
hoping that you know, he's been coping, he's been doing
all right, you know, with the passing of keV Cassin everything,

(02:56:52):
and that's Don Tony, you know, not for nothing. But
I know one of the ways I ended up getting
into this whole podcasting crazy world. I was listening to
three podcasts back in the day, like in the early
early two thousands. It was like between two thousand and

(02:57:15):
eight to twenty ten ish. I was listening to Don Toni,
I was listening to Pro Wrestling Torch, and I was
checking out the Pro Wrestling Report with Damian Nelson and
David Herro and so you know, all all those guys,

(02:57:36):
the Seeds, you know, that was the early foundation that
ultimately got me into doing this. But Don Toni particularly
and they and Damian Nelson, oh, those two guys particularly

(02:57:57):
had really kind of well, hey, if they're doing this,
like what have I got to lose? And my thought
process at the time was, you know, I do it
for like a month or two, and you know, if
I don't like it, then I can just try something else.
That was my mindset. So it's kind of funny how

(02:58:20):
all of that, you know, shout out to keV Castle too.
You know, I miss that dude, like legit, legit, I
miss keV Castle sometimes I'll look at certain angles, look
at certain pieces of news, and I will like, go,

(02:58:40):
I wonder what keV would think of this. I'm man,
dude had the best fucking takes. Man miss his voice.
He had really, really damn good insight. And I can
honestly tell you one of the things that I had
loved a lot about keV Castle. I can't remember or

(02:59:01):
while I was just a listener and not a podcast or,
there would be a lot of times I'd listen to
the DT show just to hear what keV Castle had
to say, because I was more interested in what keV
Castle had to say than DT no hate or if
you know, and I'm sure he would and he has.

(02:59:24):
You know that. Hey, some folks, you know, they care
more about you know, keV And that's why DT would
do his best to, you know, make that partnership work
and all of that and everything. You know. But keV
is definitely somebody I missed, somebody I think about a lot,
somebody who I go, man, I wish I would have

(02:59:46):
done my part to be more interactive with him, and
it definitely his passing has definitely made me appreciate the
relationships that I have right now. With those that not
only we are our family, particularly with those that I
consider friends, especially those in this podcast Ecosystem of a world.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
