awaits Hogan. Hogan returned, There we go, Here we go.
You know, come on, that pop was something. It was something.
It was it was a pop it was that was
an ego pop Lord had merg Wonder what you think
he went back to the dress where you were there.
(03:23):
I was there, it happened. What happened back stage after
he came back from when I saw him? He was
he was no selling it and pushing his beer. I
didn't see. I wouldn't. I wasn't backstage when he came.
Did you feel like giving him a hug after here's
(03:47):
being a company man? Did you feel bad for him? No?
I got feelings. I got like sometimes in life things
come back. And you mentioned WrestleMania, a guy who's headlined
(04:08):
WrestleMania so many times over seth What was your thoughts
on Hulk Hogan getting booed like crazy on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I am all for people getting what they deserve.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
That's how I feel about.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
If you are getting booed by the masses, there's a
reason for it, all right. So I don't know if
Hulk fully understands the scope, but people get what they deserve.
So I'm happy to see it. I love to see it.
And look, I said this before about the Hulkster. He's
the guy that got me into this, this industry as
far as love for professional wrestling, this responsibility that he
(04:48):
needs to own up to that he hasn't yet. Maybe
when he finally figures that out, might be able to
move forward with our fans.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
So we'll see our show with Lee Sanders.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
What's up, fam? Lee Sanders with you guys for this
weekend February eighth, twenty twenty five. I just had to
open up the show with those little soundbites there from
seth Rawlins and Undertaker on the Haulkster. I really really
got out of my seat when it came to seth Rawlins.
(05:24):
He pretty much hit the nail on the coffin in
regards to how the majority of US fans feel, you know,
in this day and age now, kind of following up
on what Mark Callawaity, Undertaker's co host had said, Yeah,
in the dan Age, where we're able to access so
much information, we're able to see these shoot interviews, hear
(05:47):
from the wrestlers themselves and the stories that they have
to tell about some of their peers and all that. Yeah,
we really do feel as though, well because I have
this kind of access second hand knowledge or first hand knowledge,
and it's able to help shape my opinion whatever thought
(06:08):
process I was having about a particular individual, Well, because
of the access that I have to all of this
content over here, it really helps me better come to
the conclusion of where I'm at. And I tell you,
until we see a scenario come about where the Hawkster decides, Okay,
you know what, I want to go do an episode
(06:32):
of I don't know Steve Harvey, or I want to
go do an episode of It ain't gonna be Doctor
Phil because Doctor Phil decided to terminate his show so
he can go on these little ice raids. But you
(06:53):
feel where I'm coming from, fav It's one of those
things where until we see the Hawlkster really put action
behind his words, he is forever going to not receive
a overwhelming ovation depending on where he goes. Make no
(07:13):
mistake about it, there are definitely still HAWLK Hogan fans
look not for nothing, but almost every three to six months,
I stay seeing Rob Feinstein of are Video and signed
by Superstars. He stay doing something with the Halkster. So
He's always going to be in demand, the Halkster, that is,
(07:35):
he will always be in demand. He's always gonna have
his fans. But you do have that vast majority of
fans that's okay. We are well aware of you, we
know what you're about, and yeah, man, we won't have
nothing to do with you. You just it's not a
Republican thing. It is not a democratic thing. It's not
(07:58):
a tea part, it's not a political thing. There is
just so much about this guy where you just go
that you know of him, that you wish you did
not know about him personally. It's so interesting. I'm always
reminded about that time when my best friend. This was
(08:21):
many many, many, many many years ago, so definitely over
twenty years ago. I remember my friend was telling me
how he befriended this chauffeur, and this chauffeur would always
drive around celebrities, that's all he did all day. One
(08:42):
of his top clients was Hogan and according to this chauffeur,
the Hulkster used to stay having two, three, four women
get in the back of the limousine with him and
he would just tell the hey, just drive around for
about an hour or two and that's exactly what the
(09:07):
chauffeur would do. So we knew that the Hulkster was
a bad Ombrea years and years and years ago, but
we had no idea that it was on the level
of well ultimately came out about the guy and all that.
So yeah, seth Rowlins, though, summon it up very, very beautifully.
(09:31):
What's up with you, guys. I hope y'all are having
a fantastic weekend so far. Super Bowl weekend is here.
I am not going to be watching the Super Bowl.
I don't care about the halftime show. I don't care
about the commercials this year, I don't care about the game.
I hope the Eagles win. I hope the Eagles win.
(09:54):
I'm just I'm just tired of Kansas City Chiefs, honestly,
and I'm just tired about them. I'm tired of all
the commerci shows, bundle Ski, bund Ski, Bundki, Bundi, Bundorusky,
I'm just tired of all the damn commercials. This is everything.
I am more excited for NBA All Star Weekend than
(10:19):
I am with the super Bowl. The only thing that
I'm excited about when it comes to this weekend being
Super Bowl is the fact that I get to go
out there on the road and I get to make
some money. That's like the only thing I'm excited about, honestly,
which reminds me. I got to tell you guys, this
is a true story. You guys will get a kick
out of this. So I was dripping around late last
(10:41):
night doing my thing on the road. I was only
working for about maybe two hours, give or take, and
then all of a sudden, I had to come back
home because my front window, my front side window, so
basically driver's window. All of a sudden, as I'm trying
(11:01):
to press the button to have the window go up,
it sounds like the motor was starting to give out. Bullshit,
you not. Sounded like it was starting to go out.
And then the next thing you know, nothing was happening anymore,
and I'm going, wait, what the hell now? Keep in
mind I had got the motor replaced. I would say
(11:27):
at this point the motor was replaced over a year ago,
maybe about a year two. It feels like maybe a
year and a half. I would be shocked if my
wife were to tell me, no, you got that replaced
two years ago. It feels like it was replaced a
year to a year and a half ago. But that's
besides the point. When I was negotiating to get this fix,
(11:52):
my guy gave me three different tears, and he was like, look,
you can either have a brand new part, or you
could get a semi used part, or you can just
get a refurbished you know, like no, no, no, let's go
with the middle joint. And he was like, okay, fine,
(12:12):
no problem. And so problem was fixed, or so I thought,
and here we are, you know later. Now, Luckily, my window,
I would say, out of one hundred percent, we're looking
at about maybe ninety to ninety five percent. My window
(12:35):
is rolled up. So unless your fingers are as skinny
as a pencil and they're very long like a giraffe,
you pretty much aren't going to be able to get
into the car. But still, just the fact that it's
slightly open a little bit, I'm very concerned about that.
(12:55):
So I learned this little hack. I'll let you guys
know how it goes on Monday. But I learned this
little hack where apparently because I push a Honda, I'm
pushing a very old Honda from the early two thousands.
Apparently there is a hack where you can actually use
your key to operate the windows. So I just learned
(13:21):
the hack literally yesterday, and it doesn't evolve any weird
shit either. You know, nothing foul you gotta do. It's
just it's this cool mechanism that you can do with
your key fop. So I'm gonna try it out, matter
of fact, after this show is over and see if
that'll do the trick. So keep your fingers crossed, because
(13:42):
if that keyfob does in fact do what it's supposed
to do with the windows, then that might be a
workaround for me in the meantime. Like if you were
to ask me, what's the worst case scenario, Well, I
just leave my windows up, and whenever I'm on the road,
if i gotta do deliveries or whatever, I'm just going
(14:05):
to have to physically go inside and you handle my business.
Do it that way.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Today's also a really cool day because it is my
dog's birthday, my fury little daughter, Precious, she turns three today,
or she turned three today, so in human years, that
means she is now twenty one years old. And I
(14:33):
tell you what, We got her summer of last year,
and she has been a great addition to the family.
I love her. Her timing is perfect. I did not
think that I would welcome my home to another dog
so soon, especially after the passing of my Pecanese Maggie,
(14:55):
who I known for my God, I known her for
I see twenty one. Let's see twenty eleven, So then
twenty one, three, twenty four. I'd known her for almost
fifteen years, and my wife, my wife had Maggie for
(15:20):
I think I think my wife had Maggie. So me
and my wife met in two thousand and eleven, and
I want to say she got Maggie. I want to
say she got Maggie. If not twenty ten, then two
thousand and nine. I'd be shocked if she were to
(15:41):
say to me two thousand and eight. So my whole point,
Maggie lived a long long time for a piccanine. She
lived a long long time. I did not think, nor
did my wife think, that we were ever gonna have
another dog come into the house again, because at that
point we had Chloe, and we had and we had Holly,
(16:05):
and both of them pretty much grew up with Maggie,
and you could, to a degree see Maggie's impact on
them and everything, and in the most positive ways as
far as personality goes and how they treat people they
come across and all that. But the way we ended
up getting Precious was really cool. We ended up getting Precious,
(16:29):
I would say a month to a month and a
half after Maggie passed. Wasn't our intention. It just it
wasn't you know, we were mourning and just the way
it all had came about was now in retrospect of
blessing in disguise, she's been a great addition to the family.
(16:50):
So yeah, she is three today. I took the liberty
of getting some party favors and some other goodies from Amazon,
so that's gonna be coming here in a couple of hours.
So yeah, that's how my weekend is pretty much going
right now. So hey, not too much has happened since
(17:13):
last we're on the air. We're gonna test this pilot
episode out, just some random wrestling news items here and there,
and depending on if you guys like this you want
more of it, you know how to do it. Sound
off throughout social media. You can also let your voices
be heard by how you're accessing the episode. Because I
(17:37):
see the stats, so the more I see as far
as plays, downloads and all that other good stuff goes feedback,
all that other good stuff that lets me know you
want more of this, so you know, something to kind
of keep you occupied during the weekend, you know, going
into the new work week and all that. So again,
we'll try this out. We'll see how the first couple
of episodes work and go from there. So one of
(18:00):
the main things that Scott social media talking right now
has been the latest round of WWE releases, as allegedly reportedly,
WWE has released Blair Dave Import, the authors of Pain,
Paul Ellering and Sonya Deville. I didn't mean to say
(18:24):
Paul Ellering. I didn't mean to say it like that,
but I had a hiccup coming. But no, reportedly ww
has released Blair Devenport, authors of Pain, Paul Ellering, and
Sonya Deville. So in no particular order, let's talk about
some of these releases, and we don't need to be
(18:46):
all long winded with them and everything. Okay, let's start
with the seventy one year old Hall of Famer Paul Ellering.
Paul Ellering, who as we know, served as the manager
for the authors of Pain. Also when they converted over
to the Final Testament. This guy goes as far back
(19:07):
to when he was managing the Road Warriors and briefly
managing the Disciples of Apocalypse Hall of Famer in the
ww Hall of Fame as of twenty eleven, we remembered
years back when he returned to WWE at NXC takeover
(19:28):
the End to serve as the manager of the Authors
of Pain. He really helped take them to that next
level and everything. His impact was definitely felt. And I
remember watching NXT back then with the Authors of Pain,
and I just thought that overall presentation with Elewering and
(19:49):
Authors of Pain, I thought it kicked ass. I love
the little backstage vignettes they were doing with the guys.
Everything from a pre production standpoint, it totally kicked ass.
And ell Ring served his role well, which was he
was the mouthpiece for those guys, and they did fantastic
(20:15):
I must say I thought that upon them coming to
the main roster, I thought everything would pretty much remain intact.
I thought everything would be on point, but it just
seemed like whatever mystique they had, whatever was working, it
just seemed like it fell and it disintegrated so quickly
(20:38):
upon them arriving on the main roster. I even remember
that brief period there where the authors was paying did
not have Ellering in their corner when they were up
on the main roster. I thought that was a huge mistake,
a huge mistake that was done with them. And I
remember the first go round when they ultimately were released
(21:01):
by the WWE, I felt pretty bad for a Keem
and riziir because I'm like, well, wait a minute here,
this doesn't make any sense. Why are we releasing these guys.
You know, they got all the greatest potential in the world.
(21:23):
This is like a really tough break that these guys
are getting here. You know, they never really got a
fair chance, Like, what the hell is going on? And
remember this was back during that period where Vince McMahon.
You could tell this man was not watching the NXT
product because what you think would be consistency and okay,
(21:45):
so same character, same arc, We're just gonna transplant them
over to this show. Now. It's like Left Twicks wasn't
aware of what the hell Right Twigs was doing and
vice versa. So Vince was just doing any old type
thing with them and everything. But you know, leave it
to Triple h to eventually bring these guys back. And look,
(22:09):
Paul Ellering doing very well for himself in his personal life,
like outside of the ring and all that. So I
understand something. This isn't a case where people need to
go all poor Paul Ellering poor, you know this, No,
he was doing quite fine on his own. I know
within recent years he was the owner of a rock
(22:35):
tavern that he actually sold to new ownership not that
long ago. But from what I understand, you know, he's
got his hands dipped into quite a few different things
in his personal life. So my whole point of bringing
all of that up as far as money goes, the
guy is good. He does not need pro rustling too.
(23:00):
When it came to the whole final testament carry and
Cross and all that, he wanted to do it. He
wanted to participate in that because he thought he could
help contribute. He thought he could help mentor and whether
or not we're seeing that that has been on display
(23:22):
with Carrie and Crossing crew, that would be up for
carrying Cross to mention that his own leisure if he
feels comfortable in doing so, Because I know that the
first mindset for a lot of wrestling fans is gonna
be oh, well, you know, Paul Ellering, he didn't do
jack shit. He was just collecting an easy paycheck there.
(23:46):
He really wasn't doing anything, So yeah, what the hell
and understand something in regards to Paul E. Loring. Paul
Ellering easily could be working for any other wrestling promotion,
but you know, he's been enjoying retirement. He specifically was
excited at the idea of teaming up with Carry and
(24:09):
Cross and this whole Final Testament. He saw the potential
in it and he wanted to participate in it. So
make no mistake that he wasn't looking at this as
just a means to an end collecting a fucking paycheck.
Not the case at all by any stretch. So let's
get those little silly little thoughts out the way and everything.
(24:33):
But you know, look, it sucks that Paul Ellering is
a casualty of this. When it's all said and done,
Definitely you can make an argument of mismanaged and you know,
whatever you want to call it, it sucks. And I'm
(24:54):
quite sure that I would like to believe that maybe
the powers that BMWW were trying to see if maybe
he would be interested in going into another position. But
with him, nah, I just I want to do this
and that's pretty much it. You know. Uh, it sucks
because when I look at a guy like Paul Ellering,
I go, man, under the right circumstances and everything, you
(25:16):
could have easily paired him up with a Jacob FA
two or you could have paired him up with a
ol Mas because if there's anybody then I'm looking on
the roster. As far as yo, this person is definitely
struggling just a little bit. Jacob FO two doing phenomenal,
by the way, he's doing phenomenal. But if you just
(25:36):
wanted to have that manager, Paul Ellerin could have served
that role beautifully. Or if you're looking at a guy
that will hey, this person isn't like Jacob FA too
and has the gift of the gap when it comes
to mike skills O Mas, Hey, let's you know, let's
do what we can and try to help him out
a little bit. Paul Ellering definitely would have helped a
(25:58):
guy like that out tremendously. Obo Feming to a certain
degree could have benefited from the services of a Paul
ell Ring. So uh, you know, this is a crappy
release departure. When it's all said and done, godspeed to
(26:18):
Paul Ellering. Now let's talk about the authors of Pain A.
Kme and Rizire. I remember there was a recent interview
or was it an interview, It was a news item.
I remember Authors of Pain being mentioned and Triple LH
(26:38):
essentially saying, go out there, show me what I know
already exists in you guys. I know you got that
dog in you. I'm paraphrasing here, but trouble Age basically
was like, y'all, now is the time show not just me,
but show the world what you guys are all about.
(27:01):
And the timing of that was so interesting because you're
thinking about when they got released the first go round.
A lot of us felt that, yo, authors of Pain,
they got the bad deal here. What the hell? They
briefly were on the independence for a hot, hot minute.
They were doing signings and stuff. As a matter of fact,
(27:22):
if I remember right, I gotta check in with him
to verify. But if I remember right, I think my
boy Mish from Wrestling Soup shout out to him. I
think he ended up doing something where he was driving
them around for a little bit. Actually, you know, what.
I don't think it was the Authors of Pain. Now
(27:43):
that I'm thinking about it, I think it was. Oh man,
what's those guys' name? They kind of reminded you of
the Legion of Doom, but they weren't how their name
escapes me now y'all know exactly I'm talking about, because
they came up at about the same time as the
(28:03):
Authors of Pain, and I remember they did have a
brawler to those two respected tag teams. But when you
look at a chem and Rizier, you know, you take
away paul ellery, they were very vanilla, very vanilla when
(28:25):
you took away their tactical armor and all of that,
you know, they really did not look intimidating. They did
not look like you know what I'm saying. And they
never did really, they never did really go to that
next level. They never did evolve their characters and all that.
(28:48):
I think you could have put them in and look
not for nothing, but talking was not their strong points.
It was not their strong points. Now some could make
an argue meant that, well, this goes back to how
they were being portrayed on television. This goes back to
you know, proper utilization of them, and you know, they
(29:11):
should have been able to talk, and they should have
not necessarily. You could have easily had them say less
and just let their actions speak in the ring, let
their actions speak with their fist and everything. But they
never did creatively. Creatively, they never did show that next phase.
(29:36):
You feel where I'm coming from. So, for example, you
could look at the Alcoloids, the APA, you could look
at them and just picture how they started off, and
just the evolution of those guys, the more and more
that they let their personality shine through those characters. A
Keemen Rizier never did show that kind of illusion. And
(30:02):
you know, it's quite sad. We saw them get plenty
of opportunities, and when it was all said and done,
they stepped up to the plate hit a home run.
They just were not able to do that. I even
remember when, and I thought it was a really weird
move at first, but then when the weeks went by,
(30:23):
I thought, okay, well, you know what, I am kind
of okay with this. This seems kind of Drake Maverick.
I remember when Drake Maverick took over as the team's
manager and everything, and they basically shortened it to AOP
and all that other stuff, Right, they tried hard. Remember
(30:44):
when AOP got in bed with Seth Rollins Remember that.
I mean they tried everything with these guys, everything, and
it just just wasn't working, just wasn't working when it
was all said and done. So it sucks for the
former NXT Tag Team champions. I have a feeling that
(31:09):
these guys will probably still be doing a little something
on the independence. Time will tell. But besides those people,

Speaker 3 (34:06):
And now now back to the great talk of wrestling,
entertainment and beyond since twenty eleven. You're listening to the
RCWR show with Lee Sanders.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Let's talk about Cedric Alexander. Now, I'm not really sure
if this is a release or what, but Cedric Alexander
had put out a very cryptic post that kind of
leaves people under the impression all this guy's been released
by w WE. In case you had missed it. Cedric Alexander,
(34:48):
who last wrestled on January twenty eighth. It was an
episode of NXT. He put out a tweet saying thank
you for the last eight and a half years. Being
a professional wrestler has been a dream of mine since
I could form memories, and I will continue to do so,
(35:08):
so the Good Lord says. Otherwise. Now, if you're kind
of keeping track at home, you're going wait a man,
wait a minute. Didn't this guy allegedly sign a multi
year deal with the company like last year? You would
be correct in the reports that were floating out there
at the time by folks such as Fight ful and
(35:31):
p w Insiders saying Alexander has signed a new multi
year deal with the WWE. So whether this was just
him getting wind of what was going on and him
just being very appreciative of the position that he's in
being so fortunate, Your guess is as good as mine.
It's one of those things where huh, can this guy
(35:52):
elaborate a little bit more? Like what the hell? So
you kind of want to have that information I just
gave you in the back of your head. I think
as this coming week we get deep into this coming week,
we should learn a little bit more information here as
far as what's going on with Cedric Alexander. Now, one
(36:15):
name that I'm looking at, going wow, what a really
tough break here. And I'm definitely with the majority of you,
all the community on this fans of this woman, Blair
dave Import, Blair Davenport definitely got a really bad deal here.
I personally feel she last was utilized on WWE television
(36:41):
going back to November of last year and pretty much
has not been used since. Here is a woman that
is from North Yorkshire, England, you know, who practically rooted
her entire life as she knew it. You know where
(37:04):
she was living overseas and basically, Okay, you know, I'm
trying to do this thing. I'm trying to live out
the dream. I want to be successful. And you know,
she ends up living out here in the United States,
and I remember seeing this woman's work from Progress Wrestling,
(37:25):
Well Culture, Defiant Wrestling, and Stardom and just going, yeah,
this woman is very promising. I can remember picking up
p W PWI Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazines and seeing her rankings,
getting familiar with her and everything, and going, okay, okay,
(37:45):
I know that ae W. She had signed with them
for roughly a year, if you even want to call
it that, But she ended up getting released from AW
if you guys recall due to her being unable to
travel from her home in Japan because of the restrictions
(38:06):
that was going on with COVID and everything. Now, look,
could things come back full circle and could she maybe
end up going back to AW. It's a possibility. It's
definitely a possibility, especially now that the restrictions with COVID,
like it's different times now, it's it's so hard to
(38:28):
believe what you go, wait a minute, wow, COVID was
like almost five years ago, Like, are you serious? It's
amazing how the world has changed drastically since then, Like
you wouldn't even know that we went through a pandemic, right,
So it's very well possible that she could end up
going to AW especially if she's trying to maintain her
(38:51):
life out here in the US, as she knows it
in everything. I know that also in the whole process US,
you know, she ended up dating Will Lost Ray for
a brief moment, and you know that didn't quite work out. Unfortunately.
She ended up getting together with Riley Osborne on the
(39:19):
NXT brand there married him last year as a matter
of fact. So that is a young, up and coming
family and you know they're trying to do their thing.
But she definitely got a really, really bad break. I
(39:39):
personally feel hell of a wrestler, not given, not given
true opportunities, because I'm looking at certain women on the
roster and I'm not going to mention any names because
I don't want people to get all caught up in
their feelings and everything. I think some of the those
(40:00):
individuals know exactly who they are and the fact that
they were able to dodge, at least for now, Dodge
being told hey, we're not going to renew your contract,
or hey, sorry, but we gotta let you go. Right,
Maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't. But there are some
(40:22):
women I look at on the roster and I go, yeah, yeah,
how you still have a job is beyond me. Blair
Davenport a great fucking look. I mean, it's right up there.
Tell me, I'm lying. It's right up there with a
Stephanie Laqueur, It's right up there with a Julia, it's
(40:47):
right up there with Siraya. Like definitely some sorry about that, guys,
I got my alarm going off. I just turned it
off though, But you know, definitely has a very exotic,
alluring look to her and everything. Definitely profitable, definitely marketable,
and you know, it's really interesting what's going on here.
(41:10):
I would not be surprised if our girls in the
Unholy Union were maybe next on the chopping block. I
don't want to see that happen because I think the
world of them. I think very highly of them. But
just looking at this current trend that's going on here. Now, look,
(41:30):
a lot of these names that we've mentioned so far,
you can definitely, with the exception of Blair or Davenport
the others. You can say, ah, well, you know, you
guys have had ample of enough time. Years has been invested,
and unfortunately in regards to Paul Ellering, it's one of
those just by association as far as being eliminated when
(41:54):
you stop and think about it, because look at it
from this standpoint. I'm a big fan of FBI. I
most wanted and I know Dylan McDermott. You know he's
taken over the new lead. What is it He's been
on there now three seasons if I'm not mistaken, But
(42:15):
you look at the previous lead that was one there.
The previous lead was, Oh, what's his name? It ends
in McMahon. I always laugh when I see his name
because I go, hey, he's a McMahon, And sometimes I go,
I wonder if he's related to It's like, and I
(42:38):
know he's not, but I go, I wonder if he's
related to you know, what's his name, Julian McMahon. That's
who I'm thinking about, Julian McMahon. I look at what
happened with stay with me now, because this connects to
what we're talking about with these releases and Paul Ellering
particularly and his association and all of that. Look at
(43:01):
what happened with the Julian McMahon character on FBI Most
Wanted for those of you that aren't aware and just
major alerk because I'm getting ready to go into a
spoiler here, right, So if you don't want to, maybe
fast forward ninety seconds and you should be okay, you've
got your warning. But when Julian McMahon's character was killed
(43:26):
on FBI Most Wanted, Remember we had Terry O'Quinn who
played his father and the woman that played Julian McMahon's
wife on there, just by association. The fact that the
(43:47):
just the fact that the Julian McMahon character was killed
off through association, terryo quinn and the woman like their roles.
That's it, Like they're no longer needed because right, So
that's how I look at things when I look at
Paul Ella Ring but Blair Davenport, Yeah, real, real tough
(44:08):
break for her, but she will bounce back. That is
somebody I do not see disappearing that. I mean, you'd like,
look at all the promotions that she has been in
prior to WWE and you just nod your head knowing, Yeah,
we haven't seen the last of her. We're going to
continue to see her tearing it up and everything. But hey,
(44:33):
aw for sure, TNA even it just really really depends, right,
It just really depends. But I'd be shocked if she
went back overseas. I really would, because she's done so
much to get herself set up out here in the
US and everything. Now our last release, thirty one year
(44:57):
old Daria Ray Bernardo aka Sonya Deville. Ah Man, I
don't know how to feel about this one. So Sonya
Deville reportedly was informed that WWE will not be renewing
(45:18):
her contract. So it's interesting because I've seen the evolution
of the Sonya Deville character, and if it was maybe five, six, seven,
ten years ago, I would be saying to you, okay,
if that's the Sonya that we've got right now, Okay, yeah,
(45:42):
I can understand you guys for one in a letter,
go like it makes a lot of sense. But she
has busted her ass big time in becoming an overall
better on screen character. You know, her matches, you know,
(46:02):
not too shabby, but at the same time, nothing you
know memorable as well. But you know, here's somebody we
all forget you know, we grew up watching this woman
as far back as twenty fifteen. It's tough enough, that's
how far back we go with her. So we have
(46:22):
essentially seen her, you know, in ten years with the
w W WEE, and we've seen so many incarnations of
the Sonya Deville character. We go back to Fire and Desire,
you know, we remember when she was teaming up there
(46:43):
with Mandy Rose and all of that. We also remember
the various alliances that came about when she became an
assistant to the on screen authority figure in Adam Pierce
for the SmackDown brand. But then she you know, later
(47:06):
she later didn't She ended up doing a joint on
Raw where she was making the executive decisions and all that.
I think I remember her reinstating Charlotte Flair at some point, right,
she was doing pretty good as an on screen character
and everything. That's when she was really starting to come around.
(47:29):
And then shortly afterwards she got injured and all that.
So but I know, the last little bit we saw
her trying to groom what's her name, Shanna Basler and
Zoe Stark, and you know, that kind of seemed a
little promising there because it seemed that Bazler and Stark
(47:54):
could have used a little bit of of a pick
me up, so to speak. And then that ridiculous name
your Fusion Collective, which sounds like a goddamn energy drink.
I'm not gonna lie to you, guys. It sounds like
a goddamn energy drink. You know, all this woman has known.
Her professional wrestling life has been WWE, so I know
(48:21):
things were kind of scary for her dealing with that
personal stalker some years back. Thank god that got resolved
in everything. Uh, this is an interesting one. I don't
see Sonya Deville getting I don't know. I don't know.
I'm not gonna say that. I'm not gonna say I
was gonna say. I was gonna say. I don't see
(48:44):
her getting back into mixed martial arts. But at the
age of thirty one, you know you got a two
to one record, right, you got a two to one record.
I don't know. She may she may end up going
back to it. We'll have to wait and see how
it plays out. But I think as far as wrestling goes,
(49:09):
at least on the independence, I don't see her doing
a whole bunch of dates. I see her being very expensive,
very expensive, to the point that you'd be lucky if
you heard of maybe three promotions that are going to
be able to get a hold of her and have
(49:30):
her do something for their event. I think her asking
price is going to be pretty damn high. I don't
see her. That's a weird one because for some weird reason,
I don't see her continuing on wrestling on the regular
(49:50):
I just I'm having a hard time seeing it. She
comes off to me as somebody that is, you know, look,
I really didn't need it, but it was there, like
the family that I had and everything, and hey, look
I've made my money. I am honestly good. She doesn't
strike me as somebody that would continue to wrestle, but hey,
(50:15):
I wouldn't be the first time that I'm wrong. Definitely
won't be the last. But in regards to Sonya Deville,
I like Sonya Deville. I think she has really really
come a long long way from when she first started
her wrestling career. I love where she is now and everything.
Of course, this creates a very interesting situation here in
(50:38):
regards to Zoe Stark and Shana Baigler. Well, what's gonna happen?
Now because if these reports are true that she's done, like,
where do we go from here? Well, if Brie Bella
is saying we haven't seen the last of her, and
Creative is trying to figure out ways they can, I
tell you what, if it were me, I would take
(51:00):
Bribella and I would pair her up with Zoe and
Shana because Bri in the numerous interviews, feel me for
a second, because some of you guys are probably hearing
that and you're going, wait, Bree, with what the Brie
has been saying. She has been enjoying while she's been
away these past three years where the WWE product is,
(51:22):
particularly the women's division, and she sees all this great
stuff that's going on and she wants to be part
of it. She's seen some of these fantastic matches that
these women are having, and she's saying to herself, look,
I feel I can still go. I can hang with
the best of them, and nothing would be more kick
(51:43):
ass I personally feel. And this is coming from someone
that's never been a Bella fan. I've never been a
fan of the Bella Twins, But you're talking to somebody
that's going, Okay, look, Bribella, what if she were to
show a mean streak, what if she were to start
showing on a vicious side to herself, And that pretty
(52:03):
much could come out through being paired up with Shana
Basler and Zoe Stark. I think that definitely could use
some exploring. So don't be surprised if in the coming
weeks you see some mangle where they're backstage and they
bump in the breed and the next thing, you know,
(52:25):
don't be too surprised. And I think that would be
just what Zoe and Shana could use as that nice
little bit of a pick me of that nice little
bit of a bump you feel where I'm coming from,
So keep your eyes, just have that in the back
of you all's head on that one, all right. So
(52:47):
that's what's going on with all of those releases. Speaking
of releases, at least for WWE, there was apparently a
ae W release. I don't know if you guys heard
about this, but the wrestler by the name of Bear Boulder,
not Beef. Beef is the one that's got the big
(53:08):
old tattoo on his chest. I don't want you guys
thinking Beef. It's not him. There's a guy named Bear
Boulder real name Thomas Wansaw, who's been fired by ae
W after a January a mid January twenty twenty five arrests.
And when you see what all had went down with
(53:30):
this January arrest, you're just going, what the hell? So
Barrel Boulder was arrested on January thirteenth, and he was
charged with battery by strangulation, and the victim in question
turns out to be Boulder's fiance. So there is an
(53:55):
arrest affidavit that is out there and I'll read it
to you reads as follows. On January thirteen, twenty twenty five, I,
Deputy Jay gren Khan responded to a location in unincorporated
Orange County, Florida, in reference to a call for service.
(54:16):
My investigation revealed. On January thirteen, twenty twenty five, I
responded to an apartment located at Obviously we're going to
withhold that Winner Garden, Florida, in reference to an aggravated battery.
Upon arrival, I made contact with several deputies that already
had a subject in custody. I interviewed the caller slash
(54:40):
victim victim who informed me she was physically battered by
her fiance Thomas Wansaw I observed what appeared several injuries
victim and photographs were taken and uploaded to accent evidence
(55:01):
to be attached to the report. According to a victim,
she sustained injuries around her neck, which included red marks
as well as scratches just below her neck just above
her breast. The back of victim's neck was also red
and appeared it was battered as well. Victim also sustained
(55:21):
a bruise that appeared to be bright red on her
right hand. According to victim, she was in a verbal
argument with Thomas Juan Saw that escalated into a physical
altercation when he pushed her to the ground. Thomas Juan
Saw then placed his foot onto her throat, causing victim
(55:43):
to lose consciousness and blackout. You guys with me so far? Good,
God almighty. Victim stated she gained consciousness approximately five to
ten minutes later, and she was able to retreat outside
to a patio slash balcony the area and called nine
one one. Victim stated she believes Thomas Wensaw Hopefully I'm
(56:06):
pronouncing that last name right, because it's w an Saw
that looks like Wansaw to me, picked her up and
placed her on the couch as that is where she
was when she regained consciousness. Victim stated this was not
the first time Thomas Winsaw has been physically violent with her,
(56:28):
and it has happened approximately five to ten times over
the course of their relationship. Victim also stated, when Thomas
Winshaw is attending his anger management courses, he is a
completely different person. Victim was cooperative, but then during the investigation,
(56:48):
she stated she did not want Thomas Winsaw to go
to jail as it will cause a great financial strain
on their relationship. Did begin to complete a written statement,
but decided not to finish it because she did not
want him to go to jail. Victim did make the
(57:09):
comment that if she recanted her story, would he not
go to jail, and she was advised that would not happen.
At this point, I read Thomas Wansaw his Miranda warning
and he was very cooperative and agreed to speak with me.
Thomas Winsaw's account of what occurred was consistent with Victim's testimony.
(57:33):
Thomas Wansaw stated he knows what he did was not right,
but Victim made some negative comments about his job and
he became upset. Thomas did state he placed his foot
on her neck and it did appear victim did lose
consciousness and that is why he picked her up off
(57:56):
the floor and placed her on the couch. Thomas Wansall
did mention victim did pull a knife on him earlier
in the day during another argument, but he did not
elaborate and did not want to pursue the issue. I
placed Thomas Wansaw under arrest for violation of Florida State
(58:16):
Stature seven eighty four Dodd zero three to one battery
by strangulation, domestic violence, and transporting him to the Orange
County Detention Facility for processing without incident. Victim declined several
requests by deputies on scene for medical attention to respond
and clear her. Victim states she will drive herself to
(58:38):
the local hospital for evaluation. My agency issued body warn
CAMEO got my agency issued body worn camera was activated
during the entire call. So that is where we stand
right now on that. You know, look, speaking as somebody
(59:00):
I grew up in a household watching their mom be
physically abused by a piece of shit of a boyfriend.
You know, when you are abused. You know, those first
couple of times you go, as the victim, you know,
what did I do? What did I do to deserve this?
(59:22):
Did I have this coming? What did I do wrong?
How can I do better? And maybe I deserve this?
Like that is literally the thought process of a victim
that is in a abusive relationship. And that's what you
are hearing here by this victim who at first you
(59:46):
commend her because you're going, all right, you're putting your
foot down. Enough is enough, That is great. But then
you know, once reality really starts settling in that oh wow,
think about that, the victim who had all this stuff
happened to her just horrific. She's now thinking not of
(01:00:11):
herself anymore and how she needs to get out of
this situation and all of that, But now she's thinking
about this person's job, this person's livelihood. You know, what
it'll do to them, their brand, their image, and what
it will mean for them going forward, you know. And
(01:00:32):
that is typically, unfortunately happens with a victim of domestic abuse.
Is even when they somehow are able to compute that
what's happening to them is wrong, you know, they are
still thinking about that loved one. You know, they're still
(01:00:55):
thinking about that spouse, and you know what's going to
happen with them? And you know, well, what's going to
happen with you if you continue to endure this abusive relationship.
You know, yeah, you lose consciousness one day and you
wake up, but what if next time you're not lucky?
What if next time you don't wake up at all?
That's it for you. You either brain did or worse,
(01:01:17):
you're just dead. So you know, it's very unfortunate. I'm
glad that ae W once they got wind of this
and all that, I'm glad they did what they did here.
You know, they get really bad jokes and how they
handle certain things. But the one thing about Tony Conning
(01:01:40):
Crew and AEW put your hand on a woman and
they find out about it, that's pretty much. That's pretty
much it for you. You are definitely done. You know. It's
what's really sick about all of this and disgusting and
all that is websites and I've seen them. I've even
seen the stuff on on line where people are taking
(01:02:02):
this as an opportunity to throw shade at aw Tony
Kahan in the aw Fans like oh look, you know,
y'all got this issue going on over here, y'all getting
on us about Vince McMahon. Well look at what and
it's like, come on, let's not for one day, let's
not go in that direction. Let's commend Tony Kahan aw
(01:02:24):
and crew for whenever they found out you know, hey, nah,
we ain't allowing this. This shit ain't happening on our watch. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
You are out of here, son, Like, roll the fuck out.
My heart really goes out to this victim, and I
really hope that, you know, look, even if even if
(01:02:47):
it's a case where she's not trying to hurt this
guy's livelihood and it's too late the minute that you
picked up the phone and you called, and you know
that's it, and you recognize how he's putting on a
front publicly, but behind closed doors, it's entirely different, and
(01:03:10):
you're okay with continuing to be in that type of
a relationship. No, I really hope that this victim takes
the time that she needs, gets in contact with a
close friend, family member, explains the situation, gets away from them,
never goes back to this guy again, and This is
(01:03:32):
definitely a reminder that for anybody out there that needs
help some type of resource. You know, if you are
in a situation very similar to this, you know you're
not alone. You got the you got the hotline dot
org that can help you out. You can also call
(01:03:55):
toll free eight hundred and seventy ninety nine safe that's
eight hundred and seven seven two three three and get
yourself some help twenty four to seven. Man, you know,
don't don't be like this person. Don't be like this person.
A little bit of a lighter note, this week's TNA
(01:04:16):
im Pack was a very interesting episode as my girl
jazz I had an opportunity to meet her on the
Chris Jericho Cruise. Such a sweetheart. She made her return
on this week's TNA Impact. She was part of a
Knockouts Battle Royale to crowd a number one contender for
the TNA Knockouts Championship. For those of you that are
(01:04:41):
maybe curious how she did, I'm not gonna spoil it
for you guys. You all will just have to watch
this week's TNA im Pack and find out for yourself. Meanwhile,
WWE Talent are reportedly still unhappy with the Deaf Rebel
(01:05:03):
themes that's going on here, you know, not for nothing.
But I really loved it when we had CFO. I
thought CFO put out some really good stuff. I'm looking
at you, Bobby Rude. Glorious as one of my all
time from CFO. I love that theme, man, I love
(01:05:24):
that theme. Glorious. I will defend, I will defend, tell
I'm victorious. I love that. I love that theme. Man.
But yeah, you know, if you as a fan, if
you're like a I hate this new generic bullshit music
(01:05:45):
of themes that were getting here by Rebel, what the
hell man? So apparently WW talent they are continuing to
be vocal with their displeasure of Deaf Rebel's theme music.
According to a new report, so rewind is back to October.
(01:06:06):
It was October that WW was aware of the backlash
toward Death Rebels music for wrestlers, but there were no
plans to replace them, and that WWE talents have been
frustrated with the group and didn't like their themes. There
apparently was a lot of reaction online during the Royal Rumble,
(01:06:27):
pointing to the fact that theme songs for several talent
were unidentifiable and made it hard to know who was
coming out based on the music. Very true. You know
when I go back and I think of the Royal
rumble there, Yeah yeah, I mean it sounded like one
(01:06:47):
continuous track, did it not? It really really did so.
According to Fightful, there is now a reveal that there's
a number of talents that feel the same way. The
report notes that several talents have expressed this pleasure with
the quality of theme songs that have tried to get
(01:07:08):
their previous themes back. WWE is also said to have
made requests to change several themes that the talent have
pushed back hard on. Some but not all, have been
able to keep their previous entrance themes. The report goes
on to say that very few talent that they have
(01:07:29):
spoken to are happy with Deaf Rebels themes, and a
number of incoming stars prefer to bring their own theme
music with them. There's no word when Deaf Rebels agreement
with WWE is up. Let me tell you something. If
you're Deaf Rebel, you know you're kicking back and you go,
(01:07:50):
oh man, we got this money, we got paid Like
you don't want to be hearing this because this is
a top client that you have the opportunity to work for.
This would be the equivalent to, hey, I make music
for Turner classic movie. So you know, every single time
there's a little bit of a commercial break, little intermission
(01:08:14):
period between movies, you know, well, you know I come
up with these nice, little, cool little music scores. You
know that keeps things moving along. You feel where I'm
coming from. Or you know, hey, I get to be
the announcer, the PA announcer for the Golden State Warriors,
(01:08:35):
or for you know, the Boston Celtics, or for this
football team or for that baseball team like insert insert
insert You know you take great pride, you take great honor,
and you know you want to make sure that every
single time you're stepping up to the plate, you are
hitting home runs out the yin yang Like. It's no
(01:08:56):
different than I remember when I was doing the campus
radio shows last semester. Every time, even though it was
a total of what was that fam I think that
was four shows or maybe it was five shows I
had did, but I remember each time I stepped up
to the play, I put by all into those shows
(01:09:19):
because I was live, I was representing my college, and
I wanted to make sure that the work was something
that I could be proud of. It's something that me
and a fellow classmate of mind we bring up time
and time and time again, which is, look, want to
(01:09:42):
do this work so damn good that we can put
it up on our LinkedIn profiles, we can put it
up as part of our resume, because if we don't
feel proud about the work that we're doing, then that's
a problem. That is a serious problem, especially when you're
coming out of your own pocket to pay for some
(01:10:03):
of these classes and everything. So if you are deaf rebel,
you hearing this stuff that's going on, you definitely want
to sit down and you want to work with these wrestlers.
You want to sit down and you want to know, Okay,
look what can we do to make it right. Let's
(01:10:24):
work with you very closely. Let's let this be a
collaborative effort. And that's what made Jim Johnson back in
the day so damn good is because once he had
an idea of what the character was all about and everything,
he would also chat with the talent. He'd work with them,
(01:10:47):
you know, pick ideas, you know, pick their brain for
ideas and everything that it was a collaborative effort, and honestly,
from what I've been picking up from Deaf Rebel, it
comes off is if they're just in a corner somewhere
and they're just making some random shit and they aren't
even letting the wrestlers listen to it or even have
(01:11:13):
a say for that matter. It just sounds like the
same bubble gum you know, techno acid. You know. Look,
I know in this day and age, everybody's like that,
that weak ass AI theme. Like it's easy to say that,
but I promise you, as somebody that has been playing
(01:11:34):
around with AI more and more for my shows, for
different clients, you know, different projects, AI generated music sounds
twenty times better than what deaf Rebel is putting out there.
I'm gonna make a bold prediction and I'm gonna say
(01:11:54):
that Deaf Rebel, that contract of theirs probably gonna be
some kind of wiggle room or whatever, but I'm gonna
make a bowl prediction and say that WWE is gonna
part ways with them. I don't know if it'll be
this year, but I definitely got them parting ways for sure.
(01:12:15):
For sure. Some other stuff that we can get into
real quick shout out to my girl Indy Heartwell, she
is looking to take the independent scene by storm. I
love the fact that she has been stepping it up
with her workouts. I mean she is looking jacked like,
(01:12:36):
I don't know what, man, I'm really really loving it.
Did you see she reunited with Dexter Loomis. She basically
went to his training school and it's pretty cool. Look
it up. It's on YouTube and everything. But she revealed
in a recent interview that she did with the boys
(01:12:57):
over at Busted Open that Mac Cardona, of all people,
Matt Cardona had reached out to her shortly after her
WWE release and gave her a really good pep talk
that basically it was that nice kick in the ass
and everything, and she really appreciated that talk and appreciate
(01:13:20):
it when she really took a step back and thought
about it. How he was able to reinvent himself and
she's pretty much looking to do the same thing, changing
things up and all of that. And I think she's
going to do very well. Her ninety day clause is
now over, so she is allowed to wrestle for whoever, wherever. Look,
(01:13:41):
if she were to somehow end up working for TNA.
That's great. I mean this definitely look Tony Kahn in them.
You know, if I could have Indy Hartwell's ear, if
Tony Khan were to waive the money at you and
all of that, that's all nice, but then the question becomes, Okay,
are you trying to get paid or do you want
(01:14:01):
to get better at your craft? And I just personally
feel that she needs to be in a more intimate
setting where she can really fine tune and no pressure,
can just go on this journey that she's on and
reinventing herself and everything. I think she needs something like
(01:14:24):
a TNA, like a NWA or hell even to a
certain degree, while Women of Wrestling to a certain degree,
she could even maybe hook up with them and everything.
But that is definitely somebody I'm looking at going. And
I said this when it was first revealed she was released.
(01:14:46):
I said to you, guys, she'll be back. I said you,
she will be back. Like this was a bad mistake,
this was a bone hitted move on WWE's part, But
she will be bad and I promise you she'll definitely
be back. I'm still sticking to that. So hey, here
(01:15:07):
is the ae W Grand Slam card so far. I know,
a couple of weeks ago we really didn't have anything
and as it stands right now, pretty much a whole
lot to do with. No, No, I'm kidding. I had
know a couple of weeks ago we only had like
two matches. But where we stand now, We've got Jay
(01:15:28):
White and Cope versus the Death Riders, John Monxley and
Claudio Cassanoley. It's going to be a Brisbane brawl. Ocatta
defends the aa W Continiddle Championship against Buddy Matthews. Meanwhile,
Will Allspry and Kenny Omega take on the Don Kallis Families,
Kyle Fletcher and Takesha tac match and your main event match.
(01:15:53):
Mariah May defends the AW Women's World Championship against timeless
Tony Storm. Just so sad what's been going on with
that Grand Slam Australia event, Because you know, first they
see what was going on with WW and the success
(01:16:13):
that they had with one of their pos, AW go on, well, shit,
we can do that, and they thought they were going
to be able to sell out a fifty five thousand
stadium and nope, nope, nope. Then they had switch venues,
and then the prices that they were offering. You know,
(01:16:33):
they realize, oh shit, this isn't going as well as
we thought because it was underperforming, very badly, badly underperforming.
That they started doing by two get one free or
get one get two free discounts, and so the people
that paid full price value for really good seats and everything,
(01:16:57):
they're now told, oh, oh, we're real relocating you, we're relocating.
So they're not even getting the same good seat you know,
good viewing points that they have before. They're getting crappy
seats and they can't get their money back for it.
And then you've got others that spent what they've spent.
(01:17:19):
And now Joe Smoke Flow he comes in and he's
able to get his tickets for like seventy five percent off,
and it's like WTF. So, you know, and it's not
AW that should be held to the fire as far
as what's going on with the ticket prices and relocating
and all that. That's not on AW. That's through the
(01:17:43):
company that's in charge. But unfortunately AW is attached to it. Right,
So nobody's gonna go almost the name of the ticket company,
motherfucker's gonna be like, oh, AW, so you know, you
don't want your name, you don't want your brand to
be put under that level of negative scrutiny. And then
they're in a location, you know, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia,
(01:18:08):
at the Brisbane Entertainment Center. You know that it's not
exactly in an area where okay, everybody in a mama
can get to this just fine without any issues. You know,
you're gonna have to do quite a little bit of
traveling just to get to this event, and maybe have
to depending on when you're able to get out, you
(01:18:29):
might have to stay somewhere overnight. And then you know,
so it's a it's a headache. It is a headache.
I really really am hoping that AW learns from all
of this and they do better the next go around.
They need to do better the next go around, because
this is not fair to the fans, the AW fans,
(01:18:53):
the hardcore fans. You know, it's funny because it's funny,
not funny because the viewership out there in those particular
lands it doesn't warrant. It's very frustrating. Man, I'm hoping
for the best with AW going forward. Speaking of which,
(01:19:16):
I heard a lot of good things about this week's Dynamite.
I heard that this was a really good show, So
I'm actually going to be watching that this weekend and
I will definitely get back to you guys let you
know how I enjoyed it or maybe didn't enjoy it.
Vengeance Day from NXT is going to be coming up.
That's their pole. It's going to be happening out here
(01:19:38):
in Washington, DC on Saturday, February fifteenth. And right now,
we've got Julia defending the NXT Women's Championship against Bailey
and roxy Ane Perez. Meanwhile, Fallon Henley defends the NXT
North American Championship against Sephanie the Kir and Oba Femi
(01:20:01):
defends his NXC Championship in a triple threat match against
with against Austin Theory Grayson Waller. That's how that event
is going to be looking I should be live too
after the event is over. That's going to be happening
at the Entertainment in Sports Arena, so I should be live.
Given my thoughts about that event once it's in the books,
(01:20:24):
So looking forward to that. Other than that, I think
that is it. Fam. I think we pretty much went
all over the place on this episode. Yeah, we just
about covered it all here, so nice short in and
out episode. I think when we get ready to slide
in some of our commercials, that's probably going to take
(01:20:46):
it up to I would say at most maybe almost
an hour twenty. But ah, that's good. Hey, be kind
of rewind check out previous episodes you might have missed one,

he seems to be on the road to recovery. Shout

(01:21:53):
serious health scare, and there's some shit that is going on,
and I'm hoping that the brother is going to be
all right. Apparently he's got some tests that's going to
be underway this coming week. But he's out of the woods,
(01:22:14):

me tell you so. I'm going to be spending this
weekend getting myself ready, prepping and yo. But luckily I've
(01:23:18):
had a couple of classmates say, hey, look if you
need some help, can teach you. It's no problem, just
got to get refreshed. It's like, okay, well that's nice
to hear. You know. I really appreciate that. So hopefully
