Speaker 2 (02:05):
Here we are The RCWR Show with Lee Sanders. Yeah,
what is going on? My pretty babies? Lee Sanders with
you guys for this Monday night edition of the The RCWR Show.
We're coming on a little bit earlier than our usual
start time. Look, I could have easily came on live
(02:26):
as soon as Raw went off the air, because this
week not only was Raw out of country again this
Go Round and Glasgow, Scotland, but this go Round it
came on at a special start time of four pm
Eastern over here on the East Coast. If you were Pacific, Yeah,
(02:46):
that bad boy, that was what one o'clock in the afternoon.
I think it was so kind of weird how it
is with the time zones. And then next week, for
a third consecutive week, we're gonna be getting Raw early again.
As next week we're gonna be getting it. I think
they're gonna be in London. We're gonna be getting that
raw episode at three pm Eastern. So how are you
(03:10):
guys managing with these times? Cause, I mean, when it's
all said and done, it's coming on in the afternoon.
So just in general, how are you guys? I think
not only do I want to hear from you in
the comments, but I'm also gonna put a poll up
asking you guys, how are you managing?
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Like?
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Are you able to represent? And you're checking it out live?
Maybe while you're at school, maybe while you're at work,
maybe you got like an extended lunch break. Or is
it a case where you're checking it out after the fact,
you're checking it out at your usual time or are
you checking it out later. I'm very curious how you
(03:47):
guys are operating and everything. But Glasgow, Scotland was the
place for all this week. You guys can sound off.
Let me know what you thought about Monday Night Raw.
We do have a poll up on YouTube dot com
ford Slash the RCWR Show. Click on the community section.
Actually no, it's no longer called the community sections, called
(04:07):
the post section posts. I like the community section better
because it just felt so cool. We also got to
poll up on Twitter at the RCWR show. We'll poke
our head in there. Check out what's going on with
the results later on. For anybody that is pushing a
road castor pro I want to give you guys a
(04:28):
friendly tip. If you guys are experiencing any type of
audio issues, the number one thing that I recommend you
do first. I had to learn this the hard way.
I wish it just would have picked up. I would
have registered it sooner, but sadly that was not the case.
But if you ever experience any audio issues when you're
(04:51):
trying to play yourself back whatever audio and you're not
seeing anything is going do a hard reset on your mixer.
Does it every time? And it's sad that it took
me almost my god, it felt like maybe a little
bit over ten minutes trying to figure out what was
going on. And it seems like the initial people that
(05:11):
jumped on the stream live are all kind of coming
back and I appreciate that. Hopefully others will. Because I
was seeing the numbers go up. I was like, ah,
but that's the number one thing that I want you
guys to do. If that does not work, then the
next thing I want you to do is maybe disconnect
your road Caster Pro from your computer. So go for
(05:37):
that USB port right disconnected from there, then maybe try
a hard reboot. And anybody that has road Caster or
Pro knows that there's a cool ass red button that's
on the back of it. You can just hold that
and then you get the prompts letting you know, hey,
are you sure you want to turn this off? And
just go ahead turn it off, Wait a few seconds,
(05:58):
turn it back on. That does the tricks. So and
for those of you carrious, I don't know if I'll
be getting the road Caster Pro, what is it too?
And up whatever the latest models that's out right now.
Part of me is very interested because I actually reached
out to road Support and I asked them straight up, yo,
(06:20):
I have a road Caster Pro. Would this be compatible
with the road Caster video that you guys got running around?
It is a really cool piece of software. Let me
tell you, when you get a free minute, especially if
you're into your tech, your tech gadgets and all that stuff,
go out of your way and look up the road
caster video. That thing is. Oh. I said to my wife,
(06:45):
I said, I already know what I want for Christmas,
and she just looked at me and goes, really, it's
freaking march. I'm like, no, no, like I know, but
you always start telling me and encouraging me to let
you know early. Well, here you go. And she's like, ah,
so I don't know. I think I might be getting that.
I don't know. I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend.
(07:10):
Minds pretty good. I really cannot complain too much. I
was enjoying spring break, so it was a nice opportunity
for me to recharge from classes, take a break. But
at the same time, I'm a little bit concerned because
I know, for my Video Production two class, which is
(07:33):
a hybrid class in the sense of its combining video
production and television production into one. My team which we
recorded all the on field elements that we needed, on
location elements that we use with a on field camera,
(07:54):
on location camera if they're professional camera, that you see
reporters running around with video buographers running around with and everything.
We recorded all the footage that we needed to do
our opener, which we should have submitted before the spring
break or at least during the spring break, and the
person that was delegated to do that, we haven't heard
(08:16):
back from them yet. So I am hoping that by
the time I go into class tomorrow morning to meet
with my team, I'm gonna be seeing something Otherwise, if
it hasn't been worked on yet, Yeah, you best believe
your man is gonna be a little bit upset and
not till I understanding I'll probably work on a damn
(08:39):
thing myself without letting them know anything. So keep your
fingers crossed for your man and hope that everything is
gonna But besides having that on my mind, honestly, I've
just been kicking back. I've been relaxing and joining the
spring break. I got the new Apple Watch series ten.
I'll tell you guys about that later on in the look.
(09:00):
Not much transpired headline news wise, which is a good thing, honestly,
So we're going to be in and out on this episode.
So besides the talk of wrestling, I hope you guys
appreciate a little bit of side banter that we're going
to be doing as well to pretty much make up
for the show Pat McAfee back in the house. Remember
last week on Raw it was Corey Graves and Michael
(09:23):
Cole as nice as it was to see Pat McAfee
back at the helm. Can anybody agree with me on
this one? It seemed like Pat McAfee this week at least,
was not an effect whatsoever on the overall presentation of RAW.
You would have thought that with Pat being overseas, the
(09:46):
energy like he just would have been into it. But
I don't know, Maybe I need to play it back,
you guys, let me know, But he just seemed a
little subdued. He didn't seem like his over animated usual self.
And I just can't help but wonder if the traveling
kind of got the best of him, if it was
maybe his schedule leading up to doing that edition of
(10:08):
RAW that was getting the best of him, or some
side personal stuff that was going on. But I tell
you what I was more. I was more engaged with
the Scotland fans than I was with Pat McAfee. You
know what I mean by that, because normally when you
turn on an episode of Raw, however, you might be failing.
(10:30):
You could be a little bit burned out, maybe you
had a heck to schedule. Whatever is going on, Pat
usually has that infectious energy that usually makes you go okay, yeah,
I'm definitely into this, and everything else just kind of
falls into place here. But this was one of those
rare instances where no, it's the fans. And by the way,
(10:52):
shout out to the fans out there in Scotland. You know,
some people may find this to be a running gag,
but it's legit the truth. Every time I look at
the show analytics, whether it comes to the webcast shows
or it comes to the audio shows. Whenever I'm looking
at the stats and I'm seeing what countries are representing,
(11:14):
Scotland is definitely there. Scotland appreciates their wrestling, and so
I know there's gonna be a decent amount of folks
from Scotland that's going to be checking out this episode,
basically going how did we do? How did we fare
compared to the other crowds, How did we compare to
what you guys are normally doing in the US. And
(11:37):
I'll say, off the break, you guys did fantastic. You
brought the energy. The arena where that was at, which
was the Ovo Hydro. That arena looked jam packed. It
looks sold out as well. I love the great camera
angles that we were able to get from that arena.
(12:00):
Brought the energy earlier today, I really really, I'm not
just saying that you guys brought the energy. I was
highly engaged. You helped carry what, in my eyes, felt
like another mundane episode of Monday Night Rawl because if
you guys remember, we were here last week talking about
(12:20):
the fact that last week show was at best a
one match slash honorable mention episode, and this go around
we kind of found ourselves dealing with that same formula
yet again, this role following much like what we've been
getting in the past couple of weeks, ending almost at
(12:41):
the two hour thirty minute mark. Hitting that sweet spot
is wwe doing. Honestly, I think going forward, you know
my model less is better. You know, there's no reason
to exaggerate it. You know, I get it. You want
to give the fans that's in attendance, particularly there's money's
(13:03):
worth and everything. I'm all fine for that, but you know,
sometimes you don't always need to go two and a
half hours. Sometimes you can just honestly go a little
bit over two hours to make your point and then
be up out of there. You feel me, you can
honestly just roll just like that. So opening up the show,
we had John Cena, Cody Roads. Now I know that
(13:28):
as a whole, we as a community, we're going, man, okay,
and look, let's revisit that Sena promo from last week.
Can we all be in agreement, those of us that
really sat down and scrutinize that hell a lot of
that Sina promo from last week. Can we all admit
(13:50):
that promo was dark as hell? Can we just admit
that because it might have been hard to really really
home in there on what Sena was saying because of
the crowd reactions and everything, and much like what was
going on in Scotland here, you know, kind of monkey
see monkey do. Okay, Well that crowd's reacting this way. Okay,
(14:11):
Well we gotta try to figure out how to match
that and or top that did the fans Scotland there
tried to do there. So but when you really really
and I would encourage anybody that really did not truly
take in that scene of promo. I would highly recommend
you sit down and you really play that segment back.
(14:38):
Shout out to miss from Rustling Soup. He did a
phenomenal job. And I don't know if he's gonna put
it up. I don't know if he's gonna put it
up on his YouTube channel or maybe if he has
it up on the Soup Patreon. But he did a
fantastic job in isolating the audio. And when you really
(14:58):
really just and it has no crowd noises whatsoever, it's
just dead silent. It's Sena that whole promo. When you
really really do it that way, oh my god, it
takes that promo to a whole another level. All said
and done, you know, I found myself this week going okay,
(15:24):
especially after what I had said from last week, which was, look,
they've got what was the number I said, fam nine shows?
Ten shows to tell the story here between Sena and Rhodes.
They've got ten shows over the course of the next
month to put a pretty little ribbon around this and
(15:47):
mainly address what's going on there with the John Cena,
the Rock Connection and Travis Scott. They've got plenty of time.
I know there were a lot of you guys out
of the gate last week that were complaining over, hey,
there's this glaring, this glaring issue right here. Now it's
an issue as you all were concerned because it wasn't addressed.
(16:11):
And y'all remember my rebuttal I sat here on this
show and I said to you guys, they've got a
month ago, which is basically ten shows. Let's see what
they're going to be able to do. Let's see how
they string it all together. This is very early, so
let's give Wweed benefit of the doubt. And I even
say to you guys, yes, it was two weeks removed
(16:35):
that John Cena was at the elimination chamber. They've essentially
had two weeks to really let's just continue to see
where this goes. And everything, I must say, seeing this
Sena promo bleeding into another Cody Rhodes confrontation, a little
(16:55):
bit lackluster in my personal book, a little bit disappointing,
uh to say the least. Uh. So, you know, we
got John Cena coming out there. Note the different color
tone that he was pushing. Uh this go round. Remember
he said, you know you get no new music, no
(17:17):
new theme music. You get no new uh merch Right,
you don't get you know, new colors, you don't get
new a new attire is what he was saying. And everything.
Uh Yet John Cena came out there pushing a really
cool Scotland version of the Last Time is Now uh
(17:40):
merch uh. This was all black. I gotta say, I
was looking at that, I'm going, damn that. That looks
pretty damn like. I don't I can think I could
push that. You know, I'm not gonna lie. I'm looking
at that, going I think I can push that. Immediately
the John Cena sucks chance. John Cena letting it be
(18:02):
known that last week he pretty much had the fans
in the palm of his hands and they ate up
everything that he put out there. As he ripped him
the shreds. He talked about how no one is safe,
not even the little kid from last week who he
ripped into some clueless kid, some clueless click kid who
(18:27):
was put on blast and everybody was talking about it
on social media. He even noted that WWE even posted,
even posted him blasting that kid and with the wrestling community,
we loved it. Hey, Mikey, he likes it. He likes it.
(18:50):
You know we you know, we did we ate that
up because essentially Sena was going out there and then
he was saying, f them kids, right, he was like everybody,
but especially the kids. I'm not about the kids say
anymore like screw all y'all, you know, like go to hell. Seriously, Sena,
as far as he's concerned, has listened to the lies
(19:12):
the noise for the past twenty five years, and at
that same time, he's been paying very close attention to
the fans as Yeah, this is almost the way he went,
the path that Sina went this week. It almost seemed
like some Saw shit. You know what I'm saying. Fam
Anybody that has seen the Saw franchise, you know how
(19:34):
they just do these amazing well first off, First off,
first off, I would say the first four Saw movies
and then just be done. Right. Anybody that hasn't seen
the Saw franchise, okay, but you've always had it on
the back burner, I would say the first four Saw movies.
Some people may say, no, no, no, the first five
(19:54):
Saw movies. I'm gonna say the first four. You're good,
But these psychological mind fuckers of storytelling that those first
couple of Saw movies did fantastically well, and you're going, wait,
they give you the bread crumbs along the way, and
you're trying to figure out this puzzle. But then at
(20:17):
the very end, that's where your mind is really really blown.
Like start with the first Saw movie, go from there
and you'll get what I'm talking about. So we've got
John Ceno who's revealing that for the past twenty five
years he's put these bread crumbs out there as ways
of testing the fans, basically, and every single time this test,
(20:41):
whatever it's been, has come, the fans have failed did miserably.
As Sina has admitted that he's been studying, questioning, prodding,
and rewarding fans for playing along, you know, with the
childish games, nursery, rhyme and and and all that. He
(21:02):
admits that the fans, in his eyes, they've been nothing
more than lab rats in an experiment. I take it
there's been no cheese at the end of that damn
tunnel here. Uh. And then he lists things that he's
done over the years and what he's learned from it. Uh.
(21:23):
He brings up the biggest one of them all, the
infamous Spinner Belt. The infamous Spinner Belt and he goes,
if you don't believe me, Oh, I love these I
love these watch notifications. He goes, if you don't believe me,
(21:44):
just go on. The hell is that? I guess that's
I guess that's my wife coming in here. I can't
blow that up anymore. I'm still learning this stuff out,
and I think that's wifey though. Anyway, the spinner belt,
he goes, don't believe me, Yeah, that's the wife. Girls
(22:04):
are already barking. Go on social media and look it up.
You'll be able to find the history of the spinner
belt very very easily. Now, I remember, I think we
were on the air maybe around that time. I'm trying
to think. I don't think we were just yet. I
(22:25):
think we weren't on the air for maybe another three
maybe four years, when John Cena was doing the Sena
spinner Belt. As a matter of fact, if you bear
with me a second, I can tell you exactly what
year that spinner belt had came out there. Yeah, we
(22:46):
weren't on the area yet. Yeah, we were years away
from the spinner belt. Yeah, it looks like that spinner belt.
I hang on here, Oh, the girls barking is like, really,
really hurt in my ears right now, it sounds like
release the hounds. Let's see here, let's act Siri. Maybe
(23:09):
Siri can tell us real quick, but I'm kind of
thinking it feels like maybe it was around two thousand
and seven to nine that the spinner belt was out. Hey, Siri, Hey,
when did the WWE spinner belt come out? Two thousand
(23:34):
and five? Two thousand and five is when it was introduced.
So yeah, John Cena was that guy, now I remember.
So this was definitely because we didn't come on the
air for another six years before another six years until
we came on there was no spinner belt running around
by then. So let's take it back to two thousand
(23:58):
and five when social media still kind of you know,
it wasn't as blown up as it is right now.
And everything I know with my inner circle of friends
and family that were into wrestling always was inhaling nothing
but WWE around that period as well. They did not
(24:21):
like the spinner belt design. They thought it was stupid.
They thought it was for some who really really appreciated
the rich history of WWE and then the World Heavyweight
Champions that came before. They thought it was as one
(24:44):
of my friends had said, Man, it's like they're taking
a crap on the legacy of the World Heavyweight Championship, Like,
you know, go back and look at all the great
men that's held that championship, and now we're doing this
stupid thing where it's spinning, Like what the hell is done?
WWE thinking, like, word for word, that's what one of
my friends had said. Some lost respect for WWE for
(25:09):
coming up with such a horrendous design. Uh, some thought
it was too ghetto, you know, because they thought WWE
was leaning a little bit too heavily in the hip
hop rap genre and everything, and they just felt, Okay,
(25:29):
that's that's not really a cool way to go. These
aren't my words, right, I'm just telling you how it was.
And like that snapshot that I just gave you was
essentially the same snapshot that if you came across a
wrestling fan and you were talking to them about various things,
(25:49):
that definitely was was a constant theme, like the majority
of people did not like the spinner belt right now,
to the point they had hoped that once John Cena
was ultimately defeated for the championship that it would revert
back to but you know, we had a period there
(26:12):
where if I remember right, If I remember right, Edge
rated our Superstar, he had his own little spinner thing
that was going on. Why do I feel like there
was maybe a third man that had a spinner thing
going on? I almost kind of feel like, almost kind
(26:35):
of feel like maybe just maybe Cem Punk might have been,
might have been one of those guys. But I could
be totally wrong, because I do remember there was that
period where we had the Summer of Punk, the WWE's
version punkin and sena title versus title there. But after
(26:56):
the spinner thing was all said and done, that design
continued on. And if anything, I know my friends, my
best friends from high school actually junior high slash high school.
I know, me and my best friends, when we initially
saw that spinner belt design, we didn't care so much
(27:18):
for the spinner design. We cared more about the overall design.
We didn't care if if you could open the center
part and candy came out of it, which would be
totally badass. We didn't care anything for that center piece.
We just looked at it overall and we just said,
that is the ugliest design that WWE has ever put out,
(27:42):
you know, on the one hand, you're looking at it,
and if you're going from a Okay, you want to
be outlandish, you really want to stand out, you really
want to get get people talking, you're looking at it
and you're going, boy, that's a lot of blame that
Blaine is ooh man, make my eyes hurt. That is
as blink you know, yeah, okay to a certain degree.
(28:04):
But like overall, we did not like the design. We
just thought it was too comical. But to John Cena's
point in this promo, he was absolutely right when he
mentioned that, you know, the reaction is just if you
don't believe me, you haven't check yet, just go back
on the wayback machine, look at some of the things
(28:27):
that was being said, and just to kind of give
you guys a little bit of a taste on some
of the things that was said. This is the AI
overview of that spinner design according to Google, and I
would imagine if you were to talk to co Pilot
by Microsoft there, it's probably going to give you, you know,
(28:48):
a little bit of the same thing and everything. I
would imagine grock Over on Twitter is probably going to
say something similar as well. But according to Google's AI overview,
when you type in negative comment about the Spinner Belt,
it reads as follows. Some negative comments about the WWE
Championship Spinner Belt include it being seen as an ugly
(29:10):
eyesore in which we literally just touched upon, a cheap,
tacky toy, or disrespectful to the legacy of the WWE
Championship and its former holders. Some also felt it was
a dated design created for a specific character and that
the design became over done. And then here's a more
(29:34):
detailed breakdown of the criticism's appearance. Many fans found the
design to be visually unappealing, describing it as an ugly
eyesore or a tacky, cheap toy, disrespect to legacy. Some
felt the spinner Belt was disrespectful to the legacy of
the ww Championship and the legends who held it, such
as Brad Hart, the Undertaker and Bruno San Martino. So yeah, yeah,
(30:00):
believe it or not. Found that's how a lot of
my friend's family colleagues, that's how a lot of us
had felt way back then. Again, me, I just looked
at the overall design and I said that was of
all the designs for the World Heavyweight Championship that I
(30:21):
have seen over the years, and then when I got
older to go back and look at it pass before
I was born, I gotta say, as far as like
top three horrific designs that for me, like even when
they stopped doing the spinner thing, just overall the overall design,
(30:42):
I just felt, yeah, no, they can do much better
than that. So John Cena definitely hitting the nail on
the coffin when he's talking about that and everything. A
little bit later on, John Cena talked about how going
forward he is now going to ruin wrestling for every
(31:05):
single fan, for every single wrestler, pretty much for everybody.
It all starts with him winning his seventeenth World Heavyweight
Championship and create another toy title. Check out trend Rebel.

(36:07):
And now now back to the great talk of wrestling,
entertainment and beyond. Since twenty eleven, you're listening to the
RCWR show with Lee Sanders so he can retire as champion.
(36:28):
He brings up the name Rick Flair, talking about how
he wants to surpass that record. You know, basically, when
you think seventeen, you think John Cena, and you essentially
think about everything that basically John Cena has done. You know,
he's basically talking about erasing a significant part of history there.
(36:51):
And you know, look, not for nothing, but I'm sure
there's a decent amount of fans that's out there that's
probably going, Okay, you're gonna erase Rick fla Hey, considering
all the bad stuff that's been happening with this guy
in the news over the years, Hey, hey, we welcome that.
Go ahead due number seventeen. Go for it, right. I
can't wait to hear Rick Flair's rebuttal there, because you know,
(37:14):
he's always got to somehow work himself into the mix
and everything. But John Cena laying it out perfectly clear
that he's gonna go to WrestleMania, win his seventeenth Orld
Heavyweight Championship, retire, retire with that belt, forcing WWE's hand
(37:34):
to create a whole new championship because he's going to
be sitting his ass at home with that title. He's
going to be done. He is going to be done.
So laying it out there, q F Cody Rhades to
come out interrupt with seeing us putting out there. Rhodes
talks about how he thinks he may have made a
(37:56):
mistake last week and letting Sina know, look, if you
bring this Scena to WrestleMania, I'm gonna eat that version alive.
But now he's second guessing himself and is wondering if maybe,
just maybe the version that he sees of Sena in
front of him is perhaps the most deadliest Scena of
(38:18):
them all. Rhodes also points out that yo, you know
you're you're talking about taking the title, you know, winning
it for the seventeenth time and taking it home and
retiring it, like well, first things first all, don't you
gotta beat me in order to accomplish all that? Like seriously,
(38:38):
And he puts a challenge out there for Sena to
try to go ahead, take it from him right then
and there on the spots, Sena, tucking his tail in
between his legs, walks away. Yeah, some interesting stuff that
we got going on here between Sena and Cody Rhodes.
(39:00):
Before Seena was able to walk away totally, Rhodes called
him out and pretty much told him, listen to the crowd.
You know you're gonna be walking away just as you
are right now, Like remember this, because when we get
to rustle manny, I promise you you're gonna be walking
(39:22):
now just like you're leaving this ring right now. You're
gonna be leaving empty handed and away from the WWE
because I'm definitely retiring you early so a little bit
of rent repeat here from last week. So a couple
of things about this promo. This was definitely one of
your main meat and potatoes for tonight. This is what
(39:44):
we're going on and on and on about it and everything.
But here's the thing. Here's the thing. Was this segment needed?
Speaker 1 (39:53):
No?
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Was this segment all about getting John Cena out there
as part of this whole farewell tour? And you know, yes?
Was this was this all about? Was this all about
from a monetization standpoint for WWE and basically getting Sena
out there? Yes? Yes, check check check check check. So
(40:17):
let's really look at the substance of this promo for
what it was worth. Did it match up to what
we got last week in some areas? Yes? Was this
segment needed? No? We could have gone without it. We
could have went with highlights being shown from last week.
(40:38):
Quite honestly, I think that would have been more of
a better package, a better presentation in highlighting the exchange
last week and then following up what happened with the
with the poor little kid being destroyed on social media.
That probably would have been more of a nice little
recaptain what we got here between Sena and roads one
(41:02):
big glaring issue that still has not been addressed, and
we still have a little bit less than a month
ago of storytelling. Maybe they will get there, but I
haven't heard anybody going in the direction that I'm about
to go into, which I think when you take a
step back and you really think about it, y'all might
be in agreement with me here. But we still have
(41:25):
not addressed the Sena Rock alliance and why Cody Rhodes
is not bringing that up, you know, at least a
subtle you know, I think I'm starting to understand now
why you defected over to the Rock right at least
(41:47):
mentioned that in passing. We didn't even get that from Cody.
We didn't even get Cody acknowledging what happened there with
Travis Scott and Travis Scott. Next time you're in this ring, Sun,
best believe all bets are off. I got a receipt
for you, big time, Like we didn't even get any
(42:10):
of that. Now, again, we still got a couple of
weeks to go. But just the fact that some weeks
have passed and we've seen these guys out here and
it's pretty much look dark promo last week that was good.
Mission accomplished, very good. The follow up to this, you
can just feel that there is great resistance, you know
(42:32):
what I'm saying. And when I say that there is
great resistance, you just feel as though, we'll wait a
minute here. We know what Cody is capable of on
the microphone. He can hang with the best of them.
We definitely know what John Cena is capable of. For
Christ's sake, if you go on YouTube right now, on
WWE's channel that they posted two years ago, there is
(42:54):
thirty minutes of John Cena destroying people on the microphone.
A thirty minute joint of John Cena destroying people just
on the mic and that's one WWE's channel. Go look
that up. Okay, so we know what Sena is capable
of in the fact that we have not. And again,
(43:15):
and I hate to keep saying this like a broken record,
you know, but you know you could make the argument,
oh well maybe they're save in very very best. As
we get more closer and closer, Well, look, man, before
you know it, WrestleMania is going to be here and
like just a blink of an eye, WrestleMania and then
it's like, well, wait a minute, this is what we So,
(43:37):
on the one hand, you appreciate the fact, right that
it's not a babyface versus a baby face, because that
would just be dull as hell, It really, really would.
So the fact that Sena has gone the route that
he's gone is great. But what do we as a
society always love when it comes to our storytelling, especially
(43:59):
when we get a bad guy. We want to know
that backstory, what made this person go the route that
they did. We want to try and understand their inner workings,
what led them to become the person that we see
in front of them. For anybody that was a big
fan of the Walking Dead franchise, Meagan is a prime
(44:23):
example of that, played brilliantly by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. You know,
we want to understand that backstory, what made him this way?
You know, why does he look at the world the
way that he does? And can he somehow be redeemable? Right?
That's the other thing that we like when we look
(44:44):
at when we look at our bad guys, when we
look at a tragic character, specifically, right, we like that
backstory and the fact that w W WEE continues to
not even acknowledge the rocks turn and more specifically his
(45:06):
connection to the rock. Uh, it is a glaring issue
that suggests to me, and I'm gonna go out there
and I'm going to go on the record about this
because I haven't heard anybody else talk about this specific angle.
(45:26):
It suggests to me a couple of things. One that
maybe WWE is not really sure what exactly to do
here with the Sena Rock connection. Now, some of you
guys may say, well, Lee, if that's the case and
they're not really sure what to do with, then who
(45:49):
specifically is at fault here in WWE for this glaring omission?
Like who specifically if you want to put that on
the head of Triple H Paul Levekin crew, it definitely
starts there. I can't help but wonder if they are
(46:13):
at this point going off of the Rock and Travis
Scott's availability, and maybe this is why they're trying to
be not so what's the right word I'm looking for,
redundant and dropping those names because they aren't really sure,
(46:36):
you know, like when they're going to get access to
them again, and it's a case where they would rather
mention these guys by name if they're going to be
appearing very very soon. But then also at the same
time you go back and you go, well, wait a minute.
(46:57):
If we did this huge angle at elimination chainer involving
like the hell with Travis Scott, we can just say
he's on a concert or you know whatever. We can't
get the rock to fire up his cell phone because
he's always firing up his cell phone anyway. We can't
get this guy to shoot a little something or maybe
do a little something on the iPad and and send
(47:18):
it to WWE and they can somehow splice that in
there into a Cody Rhodes seeing a segment. We can't
somehow factor all that in and get the rock involved
that way. We can't somehow mention the rock posting on
social media and sharing that we like, what's what's going
on here? It almost comes off as if the riders
(47:42):
and I would love to just And isn't it amazing
that when it counts the most, the people from Fivefold,
the Dave Meltzers and in certain certain cert this glaring
omission it just has not even been addressed by the
pros that supposedly know the inner workings and they are
(48:04):
talking to people, and it almost comes off as if
WWE is not really sure what the hell to do
here in addressing the Sena Rock connection. Now, look, maybe
everything is on course and things are gonna crank up
(48:26):
next week or the week before, you know. But I
have a golden rule of thumb when it comes to
the storytelling, especially storytelling that I've seen from WWE over
the years. If by week four, which basically gives you
a whole month of storytelling, if we haven't hit those
key milestones of storytelling within a month, then it's safe
(48:49):
to say, Nah, this is pretty much as good as
it's gonna get. And I I don't know about you all,
but for me personally, I'm starting to get a little
bit concerned learned here about this arc, you know, because
it almost kind of feels like, yeah, now we're kind
of excuse me now, we're kind of backpedaling a little
(49:14):
bit kind of interesting. What's going on with that? It
really really is? So and look spoiler alert next week
on Raw Cody Rhodes, John Cena in the Ring. Yet again,
my challenge to WWE, because I know that there are
(49:36):
some talents and others that make their rounds checking out
with different podcasters have to say and all of that
and off and on over the years, we've been under
WWE's radar. That's that's not me saying that just to
sound good. I remember there was one year, uh, WWE
(49:57):
actually reached out to me through private messaging on social
media and they said, hey, we would like for you
to check out the Battleground pay per view was their first,
their first annual event. Uh. They saying, hey, we want
for you to you know, check it out and everything
and then talk about it. And you know, I was like, hey, okay,
(50:19):
all right, cool. I still have the video. If anybody
doubts me on that, I actually still have the video
where ww reached out and all of that. They were
doing it to, uh just a few, just a few
people on online, just at random, and as far as
I know, it wasn't anything where you know, hey put
(50:40):
out the hashtag follow us, like us retweet. It was
none of that garbage from what I remember way back when.
But you know, if I can have the ear of
somebody there in WWE, I am going to say this,
which is look, you're gonna have John Cena and Rhodes
(51:00):
out there again, Mike Battle for a third week in
a row, a third Monday in a row. I promise you,
I promise you if you deliver the same stuff that
you've been doing these past three weeks, with the exception
of Sena explaining what you explain and destroying the little
(51:23):
kid like that was a dark ass heavy promo. It
was a heavy, heavy ass promo. Good stuff. But past that,
when it comes to just Sena and Rhodes together dueling,
if you go into the next Monday Night Raw with
this same blueprint, fans are going to destroy it. Fans
(51:44):
are going to destroy it. Podcasters are going to destroy it. Now,
you gotta add more sizzle, you gotta add more substance
to it, otherwise you will be eating alive. And I
think you know, one of the things that they really
really need to do is they need to let John
Cena just give him whatever couple of bullet points and
(52:07):
just let him destroy like whatever. I like the idea
I brought up a couple of weeks ago about why
John Cena defected over to the Rock and you know,
I would love for him to just bury Triple H. Paulovc.
I would love for him to bury the current regime.
(52:28):
Bring up the fact that you know he kept trying
to give back to the business. He wanted to do
more stuff within w w WEE but that you know,
Triple H, Paul l Vec wouldn't return his calls, wouldn't
engage him in meetings, wouldn't sit down with him even
in a damn zoom conversation on the tablet or phone,
(52:50):
and and he just felt as though he was being
you know, pushed out. He could bring out the fact
that the old man always knew how to take care
of me, Vince McMahon, like the old man, he always
knew how to take care of me. But ever since
Triple H came in the power, you know, he's been
focused on building his own legacy, you know, his own guys.
(53:13):
And he looks at me as a blemish on the past,
you know, he looks at me as a shit stain
on a certain period of the WWE because of everything
that's happened with Vince, you know, outside of this company. Hey,
I ain't got nothing to do with that, you know,
(53:34):
but this company wouldn't be where it is right now
if it wasn't for my blood, my sweat, my tears,
my sacrifice. We need that to come out and connect
that back to Dwayne the Rock Johnson. So anything less
than that to not even get a whiff of that
(53:56):
next week, I promise you fans you heard it here first, fans, podcasters, vloggers, riders,
they will be destroying the hell out of the Sena
Road segment next week if it's much of the same
bank on that bank on that uh far as that
(54:17):
goes some of the enteringaction we got on tonight's episode,
USO's taking on a town down under USO's picking up
the win there. So yeah, the mistery partner turns out
it was big gym right. Remember what we were talking
about last week. I said, huh, maybe maybe it could
be uh, who's the name I brought up? I think
(54:38):
I said maybe it could be Penta. I think I
brought up Penta as a good little runner up there,
but I didn't really because I remember, I don't know
why I brought up Penta, but for some reason I
brought him up, and I said, maybe it would be
this guy. But I never sat down and said no, no, no, no,
no no. He's involved with a judgment State, Judgment Day
(55:01):
stuff and brown Breakers that that probably actually wouldn't be
a really good idea right there, but makes a lot
of sense, right, and it was kind of like a
no brainer there, nine minute match, give or take. Kind
of weird here. I gotta be honest with you to
see Jay Usso. Look, on the one hand, great seeing
(55:25):
him and jim team up again, right, nice little fun
moment for the fans, Okay, especially for those in Scotland.
You know, they get to walk away and say, hey,
we got to see the usso's team up again, like
that's that's cool, that's nice and everything. But considering the
fact that Jay Uso is trying to get into the
(55:48):
world title picture here, you know, I gotta say I'm
not really liking what's going on here with Jay's build
up go into Wrestle Maine. At least That's how I
felt when I was looking at things right here. Later
on in the night, it was great. By the way, postmatch,
(56:13):
somehow out of nowhere, Gunther, you know, he just appeared
and he was just wrecking havoc left and right there.
He was getting in some good hits on Jay Uso.
Jimmy manages to clear the ring get goother out of there.
Later on in the night, the brothers are talking and
(56:39):
Jimmy tells him, you know, look, you're not going to
be able to beat Goother, at least not this version.
You need the bloodline, Juso, the right hand man, ja Uso.
You need the main event jay Uso. That is the
version you need to go into wrestle Mania and beat Gnther.
(56:59):
Jimmy decided he was gonna take it a step further, uh,
and he actually saw h somehow out the corner of
his eye. He ended up seeing Gunther and he walks
up to him and challenges him to a one on
one match for next week. Goother accepts, and he says, hey,
hopefully you'll be more of a challenge than your brother,
(57:22):
and hopefully you won't be slipping and falling out there.
Big jim Boy, I tell you slap Herd all around
the world. I mean he puts some extra extra condiments
on that slap. I mean he slapped a living hell
out of Guther.
Speaker 1 (57:39):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
I loved it. I loved it. I'm just picturing that
new Redman song that's running around right now, and you
just slap a I've just pictured somebody just going there
and adding that little, that little sound uh to that
and that music to that little h that little segment.
I can see the sonic is just coming from out
(58:02):
of Gunther with that slap. There no this road for
Jay Uso. So far, it's just felt kind of you know.
On the one hand, you're seeing some of these matches,
you know, you go, why is he messing with atown
down under? This really isn't a good build up here, like,
you know, what, what what the hell?
Speaker 1 (58:23):
Like?
Speaker 2 (58:23):
Seriously, you know, I almost want to see a situation
occur where now that Jay is involved and they got
enough time to do this type of storytelling, I almost
want to see Jay Uso go, you know, look, I
might be taking on Gunther tonight, but your match with
him is going to be coming up at wrestle Mania
(58:46):
in a couple of weeks. And you know, there's no
better way that I think you need to get ready
than by taking on some former world heavyweight champions. So
I talk with Adam Pierson. He's in agreement. So next
couple of weeks beginning right now, you know, you're going
to be taking on some former world heavyweight champions, and
(59:08):
this should, you know, really help not only build up
your confidence, sharpen your skills even more, and you know,
get you to where you need to be, so you'll
be laser focused and you'll definitely be able to get
the job done against Guther, you know, like go out
there and get it done. Now, now the question becomes, okay,
(59:30):
so if maybe we go that route as far as
world heavyweight champions, Okay, like, who's some of the people
that we could possibly see Jay Whoso facing all that? Look,
first of all, we can take Roman Reigns off the
list because he is involved with what's going on there
(59:50):
between Punk and Rollins. So there's just no way, you know,
we're gonna see that perfect scenario. That would be kind
of cool, right, but but there's just no way we're
gonna get that off the break. We could definitely see
Rob van Dam for sure. Rob van Dam, I don't
(01:00:12):
know about Mark Henry. I know Mark Henry recently signed
a Legends deal with the WWE. We're gonna talk about
that later on in the show. But since we're here
on the topic now, you know, that's great to hear that,
you know he's back with them at least in that capacity,
and I would imagine as part of that deal. Who knows,
we may see him pop up on a future episode
(01:00:33):
of LFG. Maybe he'll pop up and evolve and XT
for that matter. Obviously name likeliness we will be included in
video games. I would imagine it's a matter of when
we'll see him in games like WWE Supercard things of
(01:00:54):
that nature. Excuse me, I imagine it's going to be a
matter of time. But he signed a legend. I don't
know if maybe I don't know if maybe he'd be
interested in suiting up and going out there having a
match with him. But you can definitely go into the
(01:01:16):
well there and figure out, Okay, who are we going
to get here for former world champions that can help
get Jay ready. But it kind of feels like at
this point that's definitely one of the things that needs
to happen, one thing that we all can definitely agree on.
Now that Jim Usso is involved, this definitely takes things
(01:01:38):
to another level because it did kind of fell a
bit hollow with what we've been seeing of Jay Usso
these past several weeks. And I would imagine they're probably
gonna go into the old bag of playbook tricks and
they're probably gonna dig up Rocky four and just have
Gunther destroyed the life in hell out of Big Gym
(01:02:03):
and force ja Uso to really take it to that
next level, because remember what Gunther said, and he's been
a man of his word these past several weeks. Gunther
has said leading up to WrestleMania, anytime he sees Jay
Uso on the spot, he's gonna beat his ass. Okay, well,
I think after we see Big Jim get destroyed by
(01:02:27):
Guther next week, that's really gonna light a fire under
Jay's ass and pretty much take it to that next
level where maybe it's now going to be reversed and
Jay will be the one on site sees Gunther be
up on that ass. Women's Intercontinental Championship match. Lyra Valkyria
(01:02:50):
retaining against Raquel Rodriguez almost a ten minute match here,
a nice little match, you know, small versus big kudos
to w w E for continuing to boost the title
reign here for Lyra. Right, this little pet project that
(01:03:13):
they have going on here with her, you know, they're
continuing to build her up as a champion and everything. Obviously,
at some point the way this feels right now, you
would just like to believe that the seeds that's been
planted so far, Remember We've got Ivy now, who is
(01:03:36):
constantly in the hunt here. Okay, we know that the
Raquel Live Morgan connection, like you would like to believe
that at some point Live and Lyra are gonna lock up,
and that's gonna be the real telling story right there,
because if Live gets the title off of Lyra, that
(01:03:58):
kind of sends a message to me, me that WWE
is essentially going, Okay, you know this little pet project
of Lyra, it isn't quite working out, so maybe let's
go in a different direction. That's one direction, or you know,
if they end up having Lyra go over Live Morgan
(01:04:20):
definitely take that as a strong sign and continuation of no,
we still are committed to this project. We want to
continue to build this girl up in everything. I gotta say,
thinking about when I saw Zoe Stark and Lyra going
at it, I enjoyed Lyra and Zoe more than seeing
(01:04:43):
Lyra and Raquel going at it here. But that's just me.
Postmatch Live, Morgan goes in there, but Bailey comes in
there for to save, so obviously gonna maybe see some
type of a tag match with Lyra Bailey, you know,
against the Judgment Day girls and all that you see
(01:05:03):
what's going on. Let's see Dragon Lee versus El Grande Americano.
So once again we've got Chad Gable leading up to
this match. Chad Gable, you know, no, I am not
that Max figure, you know, El Grande Americano. No, I'm
(01:05:24):
not him. I can't wrestle, you know, I'm sick blah
blah blah blah blah. And somehow Americano's name is brought
up as you know, hey, why not take that guy on?
Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
So and apparently Chad Gable had a doctor's note which
officially said he was not allowed to wrestle, So kind
of interesting what was going on there. But anyway, Dragon
Lee taking on El Grande Americano, Americano picking up the win.
(01:05:58):
Good match, actually really good match. Both guys here really
working their ass off. I'm liking this Americano stuff. Uh
it's uh, it's you know, I'm seeing enough stuff that's
there that if they wanted to go the comedic route
down the line, like I can see some hilarious stuff
(01:06:20):
going on there with all of that. Uh see them
Punk was in the house pretty much his promo uh
in a nutshell. Uh. Look, you know I wanted to
win the World Rumble so I could main event wrussele Mania,
(01:06:42):
you know, get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
And you know, sally didn't work out, didn't go to
Elimination Chamber, seth rawling screwed me out of you know,
and apparently I now have a match at Russell Maania.
But you know, is this really what I want? Am
I getting what I want here?
Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Or you know?
Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
Or what's going on here? Right? So kind of interesting
what he's uh, what he's saying here with you know,
his his way of words.
Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
He also says that he works with children. So it's
funny too because the Scotland crowd when they heard that line,
you heard a couple of people go, oh, it's kind
of like oh that thing, that aw thing right. Uh.
Punk talks about seth Rawlins being the definition of a
child because you know obviously what he did at Elimination Chamber.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
And then he talks about Roman reigns and and basically
the reality is, uh, you know, when it comes to
his wise man, Paul Hayman, the wise Man doesn't just
belong to Roman reigns. Uh. And apparently in London on
(01:07:58):
this week's backdown. There's gonna be a three way contract signing.
Fans are not happy about that, and Punk asks him.
You know, Punk is one of the most natural talkers,
always plays brilliantly to the emotions and inquisitiveness of fans,
like just right there on the spot, he does a
good job with that. As as soon as he hears
(01:08:21):
the fans booing, he goes, why are you going that?
And he pauses for just a few seconds, and you
already know what he's gonna say, like he doesn't have
that dear in the headlights look like some people do.
But he asks the question, waits about three seconds, and
then he goes, is it because it's not happening here?
And he says, you know, well look not for nothing,
(01:08:43):
but Roman Rays and steth Ronglins they didn't want to
grace you all with their appearance here in Scotland, so
that's why I came right And you're like, oh, nice,
like nice way to really kind of spend that there, dude,
good stuff. I liked what he did there. I like
how he spun that. But pretty much SmackDown is where
(01:09:06):
you want to go because of the contract signing going
on between those guys, we still do not know or
do we what the favor is there that Punk has
with Hayman. Still don't know what's going on with that.
I would like to believe though, that this match between
Punk Rollins Rains this should be the main event Night
(01:09:31):
one of WrestleMania. Wait and see main event match of
the night the Intercontinental Championship being defended by braun Breaker
against Penta. Match ended in a DQ fun match. Fun
match ended in a DQ as Judgment Day got involved there.
(01:09:55):
I like how things ended as Finn Balor comes in
there taking a steel chair to the body of bron Breaker.
Then he passes the steel chair over to Dominick mysterio. Dominick,
who's been trying the past couple of weeks even on
this episode to recruit Penta, hands Pensa the steel chair
(01:10:16):
and says, come on, do the right thing here, like
you know what's up, Come on Joint Judgment Day. You
know we're cool. We got nuggets. Right, He didn't say
all that, but you know it's like you might as well.
And Penta instead taking that chair to dom Finn Balor
getting on top of Penta, laying him out and everything
(01:10:38):
interesting how this episode ended, because you know, you're looking
at how things have now fallen into place here, because
this is another one of those multi layered kind of events. Here,
you're looking at the fact that Penta, as much as
maybe he doesn't like bron Breaker, he respects that this
(01:11:02):
man is the Intercontinental Champion, and obviously there is a clear,
definitive path that he wants to take and ultimately becoming
the IC champion, and it definitely does not involve members
of the Judgment day. So this is matching up the
(01:11:23):
way it's going down. You know, it seems like we're
gonna get this big multi match thing that's gonna come
about it. Remember what I had said a couple of
weeks ago, which is whenever Dragon no not Dragon Dragon
off is who I was thinking about, whenever he is
ready to go, And we talked about him, if not
(01:11:44):
last week, the week before, how he is has been
at the performance center, like he's clear, like he's you know,
he's good to go now. So I would imagine going
back to what we had said, you know, several weeks back,
I said, Hey, it seems like the way things are
gonna ultimately play out because you got to have strength
in numbers. You know, maybe we could see ron Penta
(01:12:08):
dragging off, maybe even a rape Phoenix involved there with
judgment data kind of balance everything out and uh the
way this seems to be going, yeah, yeah, we probably
are gonna be hitting hidden there at some point. I'm
(01:12:31):
just looking at the matches one more time. That was
on the card for two uh for today, for Raw
and honestly, I would say definitely the main event match.
Pretty good honorable mention to uh oh, Grande Americano and
Dragon Le. Yeah, this was another one of those you know,
(01:12:53):
one match honorable mentioned to this one h type of joints.
But you know, on the other hand, time went by
pretty good, you know, which is one point. The matches
weren't too long, not too short, right, but the build
up to wrestle Mania, you know where it still feels like,
(01:13:16):
you know, the matches that's starting to form, but just
you know, and in some areas like you look at
excuse me, Jay Usso and Goonther, you're for all for
all the flaws that might be in there, You're going,
this is still pretty good. For all the flaws that's
(01:13:37):
happening with Sena and Rhodes, You're going this is still
pretty solid, right, They just got to fine tune some
stuff right here, fill in the gaps when it comes
to this, and you know, yes, good right, even the
stuff with Bianca bell Area Ripley and all that you're
going which which, by the way, we we did follow
up on that nice little cliffhanger that we got from
(01:13:59):
last week, Adam Pierce saying, yeah, Ria Ripley might have
signed this, but it's not valid. She is old a rematch. However,
I've been trying to work out that rematch, but she
hasn't been trying to hear it because she's been trying
to insert herself in this. It's like, so, no, that's
(01:14:20):
not how we're doing this. Adam Pierce revealing that Rhea
Ripley will be facing EO Sky next week on Raw.
Winner of That faces Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. But wait, wait, wait,
later on in the night, Bianca somehow bumps into Adam
Pearce word or two is exchange and the next thing
(01:14:43):
we find out is Biyanca is going to be the
special guest referee. Can you imagine how that is going
to end? Right? Spoiler alert? That is a major spoiler alert, right,
there right, Well, we're kind of seeing how things are
starting to pan itself out. We definitely know the matches
(01:15:06):
that we're gonna get in everything, But for me, this
feels more like it's starting to not feel like WrestleMania.
You feel me, It is starting to feel more like
where are we going here? Right right? Seriously? Where are
we going? Is this some other pay per view? Because
(01:15:28):
it doesn't quite feel like WrestleMania right now. I don't
know you guys, sound off, let me know what you think,
but that's that's where I'm coming from. Let's see what
you guys have to say. Poll wise, going to Twitter first,
see what we got going on here. Survey says, ooh interesting,
(01:15:53):
very interesting results here on Twitter. Fourteen percent of you
are saying you didn't enjoy this week at all, nineteen
percent of you said it was an awesome show, twenty
three percent of you felt it was an average show,
and forty four percent of you said this week's Raw
in Scotland was a below average show. Yeah, I am
(01:16:16):
going with there was nothing superb, there was nothing fantastic,
there was nothing marvelous. This was definitely, I don't want
to say below average, but it's pretty damn close. It's
definitely pretty damn close. Let's see what you guys had
(01:16:39):
to say over on YouTube. YouTube dot com forward slash
the RCWR show, click on the post section vote that way.
Let's see. I gotta switch accounts there we go, all right,
and let's see how you guys voted on tube here.
(01:17:04):
So Twitter gave us a better snap shot. Excuse me,
I don't know why I got a nasty cough here.
Twitter gave us a better snapshot YouTube. It still a
little early, I would imagine. Usually the trend here when
I put the polls out at the same time, Usually
(01:17:24):
I can get a better idea what's happening with the
YouTube community, like the next day, because it kind of
seems like, at least what's been happening with these rawles,
being as early as they are, I don't get a
better sense until the next day usually, But what I'm
seeing right now is thirty three percent didn't enjoy it overall. Meanwhile,
(01:17:46):
sixty seven percent felt it was an average show. So
it's kind of a interesting you know the fact that
when you combine the two, Okay, we're somewhere between average
to below average. Yeah, that's definitely that gauge is right.
I'll tell you what I'm gonna be looking for in
the next twenty four hours, and it's mainly going to
(01:18:06):
be from the YouTube pole I'm seeing here. And for
those that have already voted, thank you, don't double vote.
I always say that, don't double vote. But from what
I'm going to be looking for for the next twenty
four hours at least for the YouTube poll, is how
many people are gonna say awesome show, if at all.
Because remember over on the Twitter poll we had nineteen
(01:18:29):
percent that said it was an awesome show. So kind
of gotta remember. That's what I'm going to be paying
attention to because I think when it's all said and done,
the odds that awesome show is going to be higher
than twenty five percent. Like I just I don't see
that happening when it's all said and done, I don't
(01:18:50):
see that happening. Let's see here, what's going on here,
going through some comments here on social media, just making
sure everything's one point. Yeah, Yeah, we're good, We're good.
We're good. So that was Raw in a nutshell. You know.
One cool thing that we had learned going into Raw
(01:19:16):
this week is the fact that one of my favorite
tag teams of all time is going to be going
into the WWE Hall of Fame, and that is the
Natural Disasters. I love that tag team. I love them
(01:19:38):
big time. When I was a kid, I still remember
when Typhoon was feuding there with It was Typhoon and
he was feuding with Jake the Snake Roberts. And if
my memory is on point, finally, as I get older,
certain things I'm forgetting and it's very fuzzy, but if
(01:20:00):
I remember it right, Earthquake was feuding against Jake the
Snake Roberts and Damien was in a bag and Earthquake,
you know, he beat Jake the Snake Roberts down and
then he just started doing that trademark stomp of his
in a circle, and poor Jake to Snake Roberts was
(01:20:21):
crying his ass off and he's like please, no, no,
I mean he is literally crying and freaking Earthquake just
squashed that hell out of out of Damien in that
bag because he did his trademark, his trademark body splash
or whatever. But yeah, the Natural Disasters, I mean, they
(01:20:44):
went way back right there.
Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
It's funny because they weren't a tag team that long,
but they they gave us such a huge impact, or
rather they left such a huge impact and impression on
us wrestling fans. These guys were almost like unstoppable. Here's
(01:21:06):
the crazy thing about the Natural Disasters. These guys weren't
even a tag team that long. Remember, if you know
you're wrestling, they debuted in ninety one, and they were
only a team for like barely two years, if even
(01:21:29):
if even that, if even that, it might have been
like a year and a half plus, right, barely scratching
at two years. But they weren't a tag team that long. Okay,
So Earthquake Typhoon. The fact that they're going in this way,
I really really dig it, I really really dig it.
(01:21:52):
It makes more sense to see these guys go in
as a tag team while at the same time act
no lejing. What they did in their respected singles career,
h and all that, you know, you could you can
knock that out, but you can mainly knock out what
(01:22:12):
they did as a tag team as well. I love
me some freaking earthquake though, Earthquake John Tenta, that was
my guy, that was my guy. I loved him. I
mean he played a bad guy so well. And to
(01:22:34):
hear the stories afterwards, you know, because I didn't learn
about it until he passed. Uh. You know, he was
actually a very kind, very sweet man, very respectful, always
calling people sir, ma'am. And you know, nobody had anything
negative to say about this man. You know, like he
(01:22:55):
just knew how to play that that bad guy so well.
And let's not fore get in regards to earthquake, let's
stuff forget. He began his career before wrestling. He started
off doing sumo wrestling. It all started with sumo wrestling
and he was pretty damn good at it, and eventually
(01:23:16):
he transitioned into All Japan Pro Wrestling for a couple
of years and then was doing this thing in the
WWF for a little bit. Talk about a career that
was cut so short. Man cancer, ladder, cancer getting the
best of him and everything kind of sucks. Kind of
(01:23:40):
sucks there. I remember his tenure in w CW was
that dungeon of doom. I still remember that crap. There
a lot of fond memories. I remember his brief return
there to the WWE in the late nineties and then
again in the early two thousands. It just man, it
(01:24:05):
wasn't the same. It just wasn't the same. He tried
going back to All Japan. By the time you got
to him returning at All Japan, you could just tell
something was off about him because he had lost a
significant amount of weight. Just look like, WHOA, what the
(01:24:31):
hell is going on? You know, almost looked unrecognizable, almost
looked unrecognizable. And and now you know why, you know,
because right around that period is it was already doing
this thing. The cancer unfortunately taken away from us way
way too soon. Now a lot of people may not
(01:24:52):
know this, but Typhoon has been alive this whole time.
So I don't want people getting the impression, oh man too,
did guys going into the Hall of Fame. No, no, no, no, no,
Typhoon is still alive. Uh. So it's gonna be great,
you know, because the two of them, they were the
best of friends. So it's going to be really cool,
(01:25:14):
uh hearing Typhoon fred Otman, you know, tell some really
cool stories. He's definitely going to be the one to
do most of the talking. I would imagine on behalf
of the natural disasters. I would imagine earthquakes, family, you know,
they're definitely going to say a little something as well.
But I kind of feel that it's mainly going to
(01:25:34):
be all on Uh. It's mainly going to be all
on Typhoon here aka Tugboat, and it's mainly going to
be on him that's going to be doing most of
the talking and everything. I wonder if shock Master is
going to be brought up. I can't help what wonder
if shock Master is going to be brought up. We'll
(01:25:56):
have to wait and see. But from Florida Championship Wrestling
or Championship Wrestling from Florida, you think about tug Boats
stent there in the WWF. You also think about his
run there in w CW Shockmaster for a year. I
(01:26:21):
also remember the Star Wars Star Troopers costume that he
wore that was in UH, that was in w CW.
That was in w CW. Not really active that long,
you know, he went back to the WWF in the
mid nineties, from what I remember, didn't last that long.
(01:26:46):
It's like it's like a footprint, like I couldn't even
tell you something that was like very definitive, like oh
this was you know, I couldn't tell you did a
lot of stuff when the Independents afterwards retired many many
years afterwards. Like the last time I remember seeing him
(01:27:11):
on a main scale stage, there was something that was
going on, trying to remember was it. There was a
wrestle Mania. It was like a gimmick Battle Royal. It's
a twenty man Battle Royale. And I remember he came
back as Tugboat and I actually remember kind of marking
(01:27:34):
out for a little bit there. It was like, Hey,
talk about's back, you know, I kind of remember that.
But that's gonna be a good film moment. There's the
stories that could titentially be told and all that. So
we've got the natural disasters. Who else we got? We
got Triple H, Paul Levec, We've got Lex Luger, We've
(01:28:01):
got Michelle McCool. One of these is not quite like
the other. One of these doesn't belong. Uh, how did
excuse me? I don't know what's going on with this?
Cough kind of weird. I don't see. Riddle me this.
(01:28:29):
How does Michelle McCool go into the WWE Hall of
Fame before Miss Elizabeth? How does Michelle McCool go into
the ww Hall of Fame before Jazz? I'll tell you
how the Undertaker. I'll tell you how the Undertaker that
that just she had a couple of good matches, a
(01:28:54):
couple of good feuds, but just looking at the overall
and you know me, guys, I'm the most level hitted.
I call it right down the middle as I see it.
You know, I'm always very opstimistic, maybe too optimistic for
some people, but I'm the most level hitted person that's
in there. But anytime you've got me saying I don't
(01:29:17):
quite know about that one, tim that that's that's not
good because I could sit down here freestyling for like
five minutes and come up with names of other women
that definitely our WWE Hall of Fame bound and should
be going in before Michelle McCool facts facts, So that uh,
(01:29:44):
that right there is just yeah, Lex Luger, I'm hoping
Sting will do the honors. I'm really really hoping that
Sting will do the honors. Two of them have been
friends for such a long time. I really hope that
Tony Khan does not get in between that and something
(01:30:08):
can be worked out between a w and WWE, whether
that be WWE plugs, AEW's all Land event. You know, hey,
we want to give a special thanks to AW for
you know, working with us to you know, bring Sting
or whatever, you know something something of an acknowledgment or whatever.
(01:30:32):
But the only way I don't see Sting doing the
honors is if Tony Khan is that help because remember
Sting is under a basically a Legends deal of his
own with AW. So the only way I see Sting
not being allowed to do that appearance duty owners therefore
(01:30:55):
his best friend, is if Tony Kahan gets involved and like, Nope,
not happening. So I don't see Tony Khan doing that,
though I see him totally understanding and and like when
you think about when you think about where the Hall
(01:31:15):
of Fame is going to air, this is one of
those cases where it's only going to be streaming on Peacock, right, yeah,
it should just be streaming on Peacock, you know, so
you have to have right this isn't one of those
all right, it's going to be on pay per view.
(01:31:37):
You know, we're going to be showcasing it on social
media and people are right, it's not one of those.
It's not an eye pay per view. It's not one
of those type of deals. So I'd be shocked to
hear Tony Kahan getting in the way of this. I
personally would definitely want to extend heartfelt condolences, thoughts prayers
(01:32:02):
to the family colleagues all around the world for businessman, minister, author, boxer, father,
husband George Foreman, George Foreman passing away on March twenty
(01:32:27):
first at the age of seventy six. Boy, that was
Big George. Big George, that's what they called him. Big George,
two time world heavyweight champion, boxing champion, Olympic gold medalists,
(01:32:47):
the man responsible for gifting us with the George Foreman
Grill Man. Let me tell you something. I remember when
the George Form and grill first came out. It was
in the early nineteen nineties, right definitely before ninety five.
(01:33:10):
I remember the infomercials that was running around back then,
because I was very big on infomercials when I was
a kid, and like, nothing was on hey, you know
back then, I mean compared to what's happening in today's
entertainment culture. You can normally flip on the TV anytime
(01:33:31):
of the day and you'll always catch some type of
infomercial on. But I remember back in the eighties, definitely
going into the nineties early two thousands, infomercials was the
main thing late night, because you know, regular programming like
(01:33:53):
that was it. You know, once you got past rerun
episodes of maybe Good Time Tis All in the Family,
the Odd Couple, all you would get was infomercials for
about three maybe four hours, and then regular programming would
pick up by around five maybe six o'clock in the morning.
(01:34:18):
Things would start off with your local news or whatever.
Now that's obviously in today's modern times that's changed drastically,
but I remember way back then, you know, if they
weren't showing Dion Warwick's Psychic Network, okay, then they were
(01:34:38):
showing the George Foreman grill. If they weren't showing the
George Foreman grill, then they were showing some Time Life
joint where you could relive some of the best moments
of music from the sixties seventies, you know, soft rock
or whatever it was that they were promoting with Time
(01:35:01):
Life and the George Foreman Grill. I remember one of
the first times I saw the infomercial for that, I said, Wow,
this looks really really cool, this looks really promising. I
gotta have one of those. And I remember saying to
my mom, I was like, can we get a George
Forman grill? And She's like, what the hell is that?
(01:35:23):
I'm like, well, it's this really cool grill that you know.
It can you know, hook up sandwiches, you can cook meat,
you can make waffles, you can you know. And I
remember at that time when we were trying to see
how much it costs, like for us back then, it
was like it was it was too expensive. It was
(01:35:45):
just too like we couldn't do it. So you can
imagine how delighted I was when I would go over
a friend's house okay and they had the George Forman grill. Okay.
I remember one of my best friends. I went to
her house and I was like, oh my god, you
got the George Forman grill. And she's like yeah, like no,
(01:36:08):
that's cool, Like it's like I love George Forman. Like
I what have you guys made on it so far?
You're like she's like, oh, well we did you know
we did a grilled cheese, you know, like did you
do a cheeseburger yet? Like I haven't done a cheeseburger yet.
You got any ground beef. It's like, well, let's go
to the store. Let's let's get some ground beef. Let's
(01:36:29):
make some burgers tonight. And I remember how excited I was,
and I was just making the burgers, making the burgers,
and that George Forman grill, that thing could do it all.
And I remember the annoying, little white, little piece of plastic.
It was like this this overall, you know, trey that
(01:36:56):
you would put at the end of the grill, because
anytime you were making burgers or you were doing chicken
or fish or whatever, there would be a little bit
of that grease residue that would drip out. And the
way it was designed, it was kind of like a
slider the way it was built. It was kind of
like a little sliding heel, the way the Foreman grill
(01:37:17):
was built. And so you would have all this grease
that would drip down, and they had the common sense
to put this tiny little tray right there to catch
all of that grease. And you're like, oh, yeah, cool.
And I'm going on and on and on about this
because George Foreman sold a shit ton of grills, a
(01:37:42):
shit ton of grills, I mean in the millions and
one hundred millions he sold grills. And you guys got
to understand, back then, it was very seldom did you
have a really cool innovative design, a household design at
(01:38:02):
that that could basically revolutionize the entire industry and change
the way people go about how they interact with the
most simplistic things, in this case, how people are cooking
in the kitchen. I mean, it was smart, smart marketing
(01:38:27):
what they did here. And true story, true story. I
want to make sure. And we're going on and on
about this because this links back to wrestling. Now, there
are many lies, there are many lies that Hawk Hogan
has told, but this one, this one is actually the truth.
(01:38:50):
And George Foreman pretty much confirmed it. Hawk Hogan had
a chance at the George Foreman grill. So just imagine
an alternate universe where it's the Halkster grill or the
Hogan grill. Like just just imagine, right, and back then,
(01:39:13):
you know, Hogan, god lord only knows what he had
his name hored out to back then and everything just
it really wasn't generating money and all that, and so
his agent or whoever, Hey, look, you know there's this
really cool invention. There's this grill. You know, they gave
him the GISTs and Hogan was like, yeah, no, I'm
(01:39:36):
good And I don't know if he was like the
first person that the people had approached and said, look,
would you be you know, but eventually it went to
George Foreman, and George Foreman he really loved the concept,
you know, and this was a case where it was like, yo,
(01:39:57):
you know, what do you say? Would you be up for?
You know, long in your name to this and really
helping sell and the rest is pretty much history. This
was created by a guy that lived in my stomping
grounds of Illinois, and the original intent was to create
(01:40:21):
an indoor grill that could cook whatever you were trying
to cook on both sides, right that That's how we
pretty much started off in everything. And he had in mind,
the inventor, he had in mind, Okay, look at all
that grease that's in you know, fish, you know, burgers, chicken,
(01:40:45):
you know whatever. Not so much fish, but you get
the gist. And he wanted to try to figure out
a way you could, you know, eliminate as much grease
as possible so you could, you know, have a nice
healthier meal. But at the same time, it maintained your
(01:41:05):
food that you were cooking with the grill. It maintained
the thickness of it. And most importantly, it still tastes
the bomb. And so one thing led into another, and
you know, they were able to create that and everything
just a simplistic design that they had. I know, one
of the first designs of the George forming grill. You know,
(01:41:28):
it was almost like, you know, picture of yourself at
the cleaners and you know how they would press clothes.
It was almost kind of one of those type of things,
you know, with one of the original designs before it
got more more slick and everything. But I tell you what,
once that George forming grill became such a big hit,
(01:41:51):
everybody in their mama was trying to replicate. They were
trying to do their own, you know, versions of the grill,
but it just it wasn't the same. It wasn't the same.
So he made a decent amount of money off of
that decorated boxer. You think about the fight with Muhammed
(01:42:13):
and aud Lee, And for anybody that doesn't know about
George Foreman and Muhammad and a Lee, I would highly
highly encourage you to check out the Will Smith movie.
A Lee. It's one of my top favorite great performance
too by Will Smith. And there's some really cool documentaries
(01:42:39):
that I can recommend to you guys as well. But
when I think about some of the boxing matches, whether
it's Foreman versus Roman or Forman versus Norton, I got
him almost sneeze there. You know, I think I know
what's going on. I think I feel like I'm starting
(01:43:01):
to get a cold a little bit here, So we're
gonna wrap it up, uh pretty soon there. But of
course Foreman, Foreman versus Ali, the Rumble in the Jungle.
You know, God, what a classic classic about in the
(01:43:23):
stories behind that fight, everything that led up to that fight,
and how that fight particularly came together. It's a thing
of beauty. It's a thing of beauty. Always loved George
(01:43:44):
Foreman and his contributions to the boxing industry. That was
when bad motherfucker, you know, before Mike Tyson came along.
George Foreman was was like the baddest, the baddest Foreman
versus Fraser two. I still remember that period there where
(01:44:10):
Foreman he retired, but he tried making a comeback in
the eighties, and I tell you it was crazy because
I remember in the eighties going over to my grandma's
house and my dad had this watch party for Foreman's comeback.
(01:44:36):
So it was me, my dad, my uncle, my grandmother,
a couple of my cousins, a couple of my aunts. Like,
we're all just gattered around this big old Zenith cabinet,
television that's resting on the floor and everything. We got
our snacks and everything, and you know, we're like, oh, man,
you know George Foreman, here he is. He's making a comeback.
(01:45:00):
And this was like nineteen eighty seven, and at this
point Foreman is like thirty eight years old, thirty eight
years old, and he's making a comeback here, and this
pretty much you're like, wait, man, what is going on here?
Like why is he? And as he would later reveal
(01:45:21):
in his autobiography, you know, his primary motive for making
the comeback he wanted to raise money so he could
fund the youth centers that he had built in everything,
and then that required a lot of money. So this
was like one of his main factors for doing it.
(01:45:44):
And he beat a guy by the name of God.
Speaker 1 (01:45:48):
His name.
Speaker 2 (01:45:52):
Was it was it Steve Zolski. I think it was
Steve Zolski. He beat this guy by the name of
Steve Zolski for knockout, and you're like the King is back.
Speaker 1 (01:46:03):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:46:03):
You're like, like the King is back. And George Foreman,
you know, because they're like, hey, you know what's next?
What would you like to do next? You know, anybody
want you know. And at this time, Mike Tyson like
he was starting to build a name for himself, and
as Foreman revealed later in his autobiography, he loved the prospects,
(01:46:28):
the idea of taking on Mike Tyson. It was another
motivator of his because he was seeing everything that was
going on with Tyson, and there was some comparisons and
then you know, to Foreman and then some even saying
this dude has eclipsed Foreman, like this is the new
bad man on the planet, and everything right. And so
(01:46:50):
you had all that that was going that was going on,
and one thing, one thing here when Foreman and went
into that fight with Zoski, one thing he might have
he might have been thirty eight years old, but he
showed up from what I remember, out of shape, and
(01:47:14):
I mean he was panned by critics and everything. I mean,
he was severely out of shape, and a lot of
people thought that, you know, this was a bad move
on his part, like he has no business being back
in the rain, like to the point, a lot of
people thought that Zoski was gonna beat him. But the
fact that Foreman won this fight by knockout, You're like, whoa, Like, okay,
(01:47:39):
go ahead, right, And then by nineteen ninety he ended
up fighting a guy by the name of Jerry Cooney.
Kind of sounds like George Clooney, just take out the
(01:48:00):
l and everything. Cooney was coming off an extended hiatus
from what I remember, Like I don't know exactly how
long it was, but as far as being an active boxer,
he wasn't for like several months. So this was another
case where you know, another Foreman victory, right, and then
(01:48:24):
you had holy Field versus Foreman. You're like, whoa, you know,
seventh round, Foreman knocked out holy Field. It's damn good boxing.
That was. That was good of his comeback joint. That
one really stood out to me the most. That one
(01:48:47):
I enjoyed the most because that for me was like, Okay,
now we got some real substance that's going on here, Like, now,
now you know, we got it here. I remember when
he thought Alex Stewart, I thought Alex Stewart won. I
thought that was a con for me. That was a
(01:49:07):
controversial joint. I thought Stuart one. But Foreman, somehow the
judges rule in his favor. Where the street kind of
finally ended there for Foreman was in nineteen ninety three
when he had got another title shot, but it was
(01:49:29):
for the vacant WBO championship. His opponent was Tommy Morrison.
And if you guys know your boxers, you know Tommy Morrison,
Tommy the Gun. That is the same guy that was
in Rocky five, you know the Rocky movie that a
(01:49:49):
lot of people like to pretend it never happened. I
do true story though, true, true fact, true, fun fact.
My wife likes Rocky five. She has to be one
of the few, the proud, the only, you know, the
select few that actually likes Rocky five. But Foreman took
(01:50:11):
on Tommy Morrison and that one Morrison won by a
unanimous decision. Eventually, Foreman had a second ring as the
heavyweight champion when he took on Michael Moore. And it
was an amazing, magical journey seeing George Foreman just Wow,
(01:50:37):
this guy is like able to just you know, keep
this going and everything everything pretty much ended for him.
In nineteen ninety five, he fought a kind of a
mid level cat by the name of Alex Schultz, as
I remember, and this was while Foreman, I think, was
(01:51:00):
defending the IBF title. Hopefully I have it right, And
it wasn't Schultz that was defending. I believe it was
Foreman that was defending. And or maybe it was I
can't quite remember who was the champion back then. It
was Foreman. Foreman had one. It was one judge rule
(01:51:26):
did a draw be from what I remember. The other
two judges. They ruled in favor of Foreman and the
IBF they immediately were like, Okay, we gotta do a rematch.
We gotta run this back and George Foreman because this
(01:51:48):
go round, they wanted for it to take place in Germany,
the rematch, because Schultz was of German descent. He was,
you know, and and so you know, Germany very close
you know, to his home. So IBF was like, okay,
let's do a rematch, but this time instead of the USA,
let's do it in Germany. And Foreman refused. I don't
(01:52:11):
know how much money they tried to offer this guy,
and and and all of that, you know, but Foreman
refused and as a result of that, they stripped him
of the title. And you know, even though they stripped
him of the title, he continued to be recognized as
(01:52:34):
the lenial heavyweight champion. So go figure, you know, kind
of kind of interesting what was going on with that?
Did some stuff post title? You know, had a couple
of matches there. Uh, you know, ninety six ninety seven,
retired for a second time, and pretty much when he retired,
(01:52:54):
you know, that second time, that pretty much was it.
I think that second retirement came and like ninety eight
ninety nine or something like that. I mean, there was
still power in his punches, but like as you go
(01:53:15):
from the comeback in eighty seven and you go up
to ninety eight, you could definitely see the decline in
the power. He was never a speedy guy, you know,
he was always just very tactical, very methodical with his
(01:53:35):
pacing and everything. But you know, as you go from
eighty seven to ninety eight ninety nine, you see everything
is just on a steady decline. The power is still there,
but not as impactful as it was in eighty seven,
definitely nowhere, nowhere near where the power was in the seventies.
(01:54:00):
And god, we could be talking boxing all night. But
like you get the gist for those that are aspiring,
you know, to be a boxer or whatever, Like just
look up some there's stuff online with forman. You can
easily find it anywhere. If you really want to look
for it, you can easily find it. But he did good.
(01:54:24):
He did good the whole thing, naming his kids George, George, George, George,
and George, Like I never quite understood. I felt that
was one of the dumbest things that a parent could
do and the most egotistical thing a parent could do. Right.
(01:54:49):
It's one thing to name one of your kids, okay, right,
you're carrying on the name, especially if you got junior
at the end of it or whatever, like okay, all right,
but to name like how many kids did he have?
Like it's like, oh my god, we'd be uh, we'd
be like if we didn't mention the Minorkey commercials, I mean,
(01:55:12):
he was the king of commercials back then. The main
one that I remember was Mini Key. You know, need
your car tuned up, you know, you need a really
good customer service. You want some really good reasonable rates,
you come to Mini Key. And for the most part,
when he would do the Minikee commercials, he would have
one this red this red collared short sleeve shirt. Maybe
(01:55:38):
it was one of them crocodile shirts, I don't know,
some black pants and you know, like come to Minikee.
That was one of the main ones that I remember
and everything. He was pretty damn good as a color commentator.
I felt as well. I thought he offers some stuff,
some insightful stuff. Eventually became a minister, born again Christian
and all that, became a minister, so you know, definitely
(01:56:01):
rust in power to Georgia George Foreman there. I would
like to believe that if there is a utopia of
an afterlife, that Muhammad and Ali is definitely giving him
the grand tour. And hell, who knows, maybe they're getting
(01:56:22):
ready to lace it up as we speak and getting
ready to do another one. Well, that'd be a sight
to see. That would be a sight to see. So
we got that some other stuff that's gone down here.
I see that for oh, next week's raw. By the way,
(01:56:46):
here's the card for next week's raw. I want to
make sure you guys, you guys are aware of this.
Next week's raw is as follows. Where is that hang
on here? Because I wrote the card down. Maybe it's
on my phone here. I wrote the card down for
(01:57:07):
next week's Raw. Okay, So next week you've got Gunther
taking on Big Jim, Jim Musso, Cody Rhoades, John Cena
facing off again. We've got Eo Sky versus Ria Ripley,
(01:57:27):
special guest referee Bianca bell Air, Logan, Paul calls out
aj Styles. That's what's all going to be happening on
next week's Raw, which, by the way, that's going to
have a special start time because it's going to be
coming to us from London. Special start time three pm Eastern.
(01:57:49):
So what is that that's gonna make that twelve Pacific? Yeah,
three pm Eastern, twelve Pacific. All right, So that's be
that should be a fun episode. I'm actually looking forward
to checking that out. I see that Jerry Lawler had
gave a health update as he recently did an interview
(01:58:13):
with Bill Apter, and he is still feeling the effects
of the stroke that he had. You know, he's had
sever strokes heart attacks through the years and It's just
amazing how this man is still with us despite it all.
But it kind of seems as though, you know, this
(01:58:35):
last one is definitely it has left its mark on him,
because he admitted to Bill Apter that the right side
of his body, you know, it's still not one hundred
percent right down to the point that he can't draw
worth a damn. So you know, when I hear that,
(01:58:58):
you know, that says to me, okay, you either can't
draw anymore or you know how you're envisioning it in
your head and just the way your hand needs to,
you know, manipulate. Not so much the pen, I would say,
but the rotation. You know, a lot of people take
(01:59:20):
it for granted. There's a lot of muscle reflex and
everything that goes in that hand when you're drawing, and
to suffer something like that of a stroke and or
a heart attack, and it's affecting that side of the body, yeah,
you know, you know, maybe the first round or two,
(01:59:42):
you know, maybe okay, you're all right, but you know,
sooner or later, especially if you keep having them you
have a family history of those, it eventually catches up
with you. So he talked about how he's fortunate that
he can still do autographs, so it's like wow, you know,
and the voice is still kind of how you all
(02:00:05):
are picturing it, you know. But he still has his health,
you know, he still looks pretty good and everything looks
like he's trying to do his best. I can hear
some people out there saying I can't really feel too
sorry for Jerry Lawler, because every time I would see
this guy, you know, he was always eating a burger
some ribs, even after the first set of strokes heart
(02:00:27):
attacks into that, I would say, you are absolutely right,
you know, you are absolutely right. But or even if
you wanted to maybe tie him into Fred Sanford, you know, oh, oh, Lamont, Lamont,
I'm having a heart attack. Yeah, I'm feeling it now, Lamont.
You hear that, Elizabeth, I'm coming to join your hunting,
you know, like, yeah, I hear you. But it was
(02:00:49):
kind of a cool interview. I definitely recommend you guys
go out of your way and check it out when
you get a free moment. Meanwhile, blood Sport News Josh
Barnett has announced that Carrion Cross will be competing at
blood Sport thirteen on April seventeen, yo that is bad
(02:01:13):
as and remember Shana Basler a couple of Blood Spot
blood Sport events ago. It's like either the last one
or the one before that she had appeared. So the
fact that WW is continuing this relationship with Josh Barnett's promotion,
that is really really bad ass. The way this card
(02:01:33):
is looking so far. Besides Carrie and Cross, Jonathan Gresham,
Jordan Grace's husband, He'll be there, Gabe Kid, Pete Dunn, Konami,
Layla Hirsh she was just announced, if not last week,
the week before, shortly after she announced her exit from
(02:01:56):
a w and all that. Isaac's of course Natalia. Yeah,
ww's Natalia is going to be an action apparently Simon Gotch,
Timothy Thatcher, Tom Lawler just to name a few that's
going to be in in the house there. So that
(02:02:18):
is looking to be a pretty damn good card. I
definitely am am going to check that out for sure.
I'm definitely going to check that out. Hey, did you
hear about this WWE and on location they are offering
a very interesting John Cena package considering you know how
(02:02:39):
this guy is taking a massive dub one defense and everything.
They are offering a twenty five thousand dollars package WrestleMania Weekend.
Now listen to this. They are offering a lunch with
(02:02:59):
Johnson to a total of twenty people for twenty five
thousand dollars. So take that twenty five thousand times twenty.
If you're able to write. Lunch will take place on
April nineteenth, and it'll be held at a five star
restaurant on the strip. Twenty five thousand dollars lunch with
(02:03:28):
John Cena. Yo. I don't really know how I feel
about that, because if we're following this whole John Cena
arc and everything, this is where I kind of got
to give a guy like Chris Jericho a lot of
love because I remember one of the times that he
was a bad guy in WWEE. He was like, No,
(02:03:49):
if I'm a bad guy, I'm not. No, we don't
need to give fans the opportunity to buy new merch.
No whatever was there before I became this character, Like,
you can continue to sell that, but new merch going forward. No,
we're not doing that. Me being in video games and no,
we're not doing that. I'm a bad guy. No, appreciate that, right, Yeah,
(02:04:14):
you know, he's a bad. You know, we heard some
bad stuff about Jericho, but at least give credit where
credit is due, even he kind of I'm going to
draw the line right here, so here Scena is actually
I can't help, but wonder, Okay, this money that's all
being raised, is all of this money, when it's all
said and done, that's going to go to make a wish?
(02:04:36):
Like how exactly are we going to I'm very curious
if profits proceeds, if something like that has been worked out.
But you're just looking at the current story arc. You're
kind of laughing at yourself there. And then you're also
going who would pay twenty five thousand dollars? Like we're
not here to tell people what to do with their money,
(02:04:56):
like have fun. It's not like you're gonna be able
to take it with you in the afterlife, right, so
you know, eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we
die young, okay, but it's twenty five thousand dollars for lunch, Jesus.
And then also there is a another experience that's going
(02:05:22):
on where, if I'm seeing this right, there is a
watch a match with Sean Michaels that goes for five
thousand dollars, watch your match with Shawn Michael's five thousand dollars. Now,
See when I hear that, I'm going, Okay, do I
(02:05:45):
have the fan in me, that's the paying fan in me?
Do I have a choice in what match I want
to watch? Because that's one of those Okay, what is
this limited to? Like? How many people here? Like? Is
this limited to ten people? Twenty people?
Speaker 1 (02:06:01):
Like?
Speaker 2 (02:06:01):
Like? What are we doing here?
Speaker 1 (02:06:03):
Right?
Speaker 2 (02:06:03):
Obviously you're not gonna be able to watch, you know,
because if I can have it my way, I'm going, okay,
if I can watch any match with Sean Michaels for
five thousand dollars, and assuming that these spots are limited
and he's only gonna be doing it from like ten
am to four pm or whatever, I'm definitely gonna get
him on like one of those one hour joints so
(02:06:26):
I can really pick his brain on all things wrestling,
including while we're watching the match. And I want to
get that breakdown from him on the psychology and all
of that, right, I want to tap into that brain
that's currently over at the performance center and watching over
these NXT talents and everything. I definitely for that amount
(02:06:48):
of money, I better be able to get him for
about an hour. Anything less than that is kind of like,
I don't know about that homie. Meanwhile, meanwhile, obviously this
is not going well. Hawk Hogan so originally put on
sale for nine five hundred dollars, there was an experience
(02:07:12):
with the Halkster which included sitting in a premium luxury
suite for both nights of WrestleMania with all inclusive food
and beverages, Hogan themed souvenirs, a top golf event hosted
(02:07:34):
by the Miz, and a meet and greet with the
Halkster himself and apparently loads more. Well, I guess this
wasn't selling that well. And go figure because the new price,
it's gone from basically almost ten thousand dollars to six thousand,
(02:07:56):
nine hundred and fifty dollars, and I would imagine after
taxes probably gonna be looking at about seven thousand or
close as close to it as possible. So, I mean, look,
I would imagine that the price came down because likely, yeah,
out of the gate, like this really is not selling.
(02:08:17):
People are not And you think about some of the
bad press that has happened within recent weeks. Scott Steiner
in an interview, calling Hawk Hogan a motherfucker, you know,
accusing the Hulkture of getting him tossed in jail. And
then the story the story of a Real American Beer
(02:08:40):
and how kids were left crying as there was a
meeting greet for Real American beer the launch of it
in New York. And look that was just one parent,
by the way, that was just so me and my kids.
And you know, parents can do the silliest thing having
(02:09:00):
their kids. And I'll say this, make sure you say this. Okay,
you guys ready, I'm going to turn the camera on now. Okay,
go ahead. You know it's very easy to you know,
like especially after the fact, like you're in your car
and you know your kids are in there. It's like,
how about you bust out your phone camera as everything
(02:09:21):
is transpiring? How about that? I just calls a lot
of that stuff to be very questionable. But to hear
that kids were crying at a Hogan meeting greet, yeah yeah,
you're you're no, no, you can miss me with that.
That sounds like a lot of bullshit in my book.
(02:09:41):
But you know, main point, seeing some of this bad
press that has come about, I would imagine WWE and
or on location just was looking at some of the pricing,
looking at how sluggish of a rate they were making sales,
and said, okay, let's do a price drop. Here. Look
(02:10:02):
six thousand, nine hundred and fifty dollars two nights of WrestleMania.
You get yourself a suite and all that exclusive food, souvenirs,
all that good stuff, meet the haulkster, miss the golfing event,
top golf event, and look, I've heard nothing but fun
things about top golf. Matter of fact, there is I'm
(02:10:25):
pretty sure there's a top golf that's down the street
from me, because I asked the wife guy said, hey,
have you been to a top golf And she's like, yeah, yeah.
We did a little work function, you know, a little
meat together hang out partying on her Like yeah. How
is like, yeah, it's actually pretty cool. You'd like it,
Like okay, So I'm trying to, you know, see if
(02:10:46):
we can do a little something like that for all
that and you know, about seven thousand dollars, I would
say that's a pretty good deal, especially since you get
included in there both nights of of WrestleMania. What will
make it even more sweeter is if yo, this also
includes your airfare, Like you ain't got to worry about
(02:11:07):
your airfare because that's also part of the package. But
you got to think about airfare here, right, Unless you
live in the United States, then you're probably going to
be like, I'll just drive one up there. What the hell,
I'll just do that instead. Then depending on where you are, well,
it may not matter where you are. If you decide, hey,
i'm in the US, I'm just going to drive, even
(02:11:29):
if it takes eleven hours or whatever, I'll just drive
to save one money. Right, So then you just have
to worry about gas. Right, we shouldn't be too bad
depending on the type of ride you push, and hopefully
it's a gas friendly joint. Right, But you know, if
you're on the East Coast and that's like a very
short trip that you got to take in everything, so
(02:11:52):
you know, but thinking about if you're going to be
flying in you know, that's where that seven thousand could
maybe jump up to that seven thousand could maybe almost
jump to eight thousand just for traveling. So it's kind
of one of those deals. And then also you haven't
(02:12:13):
factored in hotel because it looks like for part of
this hotel is not included in this package. So now
you got to think about one of my girls, is
Croyner a little butt off for some reason, I don't
know what else about, But you also got to think
about that as well. So now that eight thousand, you're
(02:12:36):
probably now looking at about likely ten thousand dollars because
nine times out of ten you're probably going to try
to stay as close to the venue as possible out there,
right as close as possible. So oh and I said
East coast. By the way, I forget that Wrestmating this
(02:12:59):
year is in Las Vegas. Forgive me for that. So yes,
if you're on the West coast, then you don't have
to travel that far. But if you're on the East coast, right,
but then again, if you're flying in, that's where things
kind of get a little So yeah, I don't know
about that. I'm thinking about it now. Like the deal
(02:13:20):
itself is good. If you're in the area, then I
think that's a good deal, right, But then if you're
not already in the area, and then you gotta pay
for the traveling and then you're gonna pay for the room,
room and board and all that shit. That really really
goes up extremely quick, extremely quick. Man. Sorry, let me
(02:13:43):
make my rounds here on social media and let me
see what is going on here, what you guys are
talking about. I'm not seeing anything good. We're caught up there.
Let me just make like my last call and see
(02:14:04):
what's going on as far as headlines go, make sure
we aren't missing anything. And as I got that going,
a couple of fun little tibbots I can share with
you guys. So we were talking about the Apple Watch earlier.
I didn't forget about that. Some of you guys may
probably be asking yourselves, Lee, what did you think of
(02:14:24):
the John Moxley spiked back to the back thing that
went down on Dynamite last week? You know, and I've
seen different people that have had some really, really great
takes on the whole situation. I definitely was very curious
(02:14:47):
what Jim Cartnett had to say, and right on cue
I knew he was going to take a massive dump
on it, as expected, as expected, and rightfully so I
listened to what Stevie Rich had to say. But where
my mindset was at the time that I saw the
(02:15:10):
spotting question, I didn't even watch the episode. I ended
up seeing it on social media, and then I was
talking about it with the wife he afterwards, because even
she somehow came across it on her respected social media
feeds and she's not following any social media accounts, all right,
and so she ended up seeing it and we were
(02:15:30):
just like really just baffled. And I thought the person
that summed it up perfectly, like every single point. And
I'm not just saying this to be saying this, but
where my mindset was when I initially saw it, I felt,
you know what, of all the takes that's out there,
(02:15:52):
Al Snow, he nailed it perfectly. Literally. That was anybody
that I had not heard El Snow's take, go out
of your way and listen to what he had to say.
But me, you know my thoughts. Al Snow took the
(02:16:14):
words right out of my mouth. Every single valid point
that he made exactly what I was thinking. You know, look,
there is an audience for everybody there is There is
an audience for everybody. You've heard me here on this
show year after year after year say the more wrestling
(02:16:36):
that's out there, the better, because it's nice to have options.
You know, we didn't have these options back in the nineties,
the eighties, the seventies, you know, we didn't have especially
when all the territories got you know, taken up by McMahon.
(02:16:58):
You know, pretty much it was just one game in town.
And that's pretty much it, because whatever other little territories
was running around wasn't like they had a TV deal
back then. Either you drove to the event and you
represented that way and word got out that way, word
of mouth, and that's pretty much right, or you ain't
(02:17:19):
know nothing about it. So we've come a long way
to where we are now in twenty twenty five and
beyond where we have so much variety in our wrestling.
And you know, for me, seeing what played out on
Dynamite last week, I couldn't help it go, wow, So
(02:17:41):
we're doing this number one on regular TV. We're not
even doing this for a pay per view where it
should really really count. And then number two, Wow, this
isn't even the main event. This isn't even the main event.
(02:18:04):
This isn't even like the second to last match, like what.
And then number three wow, So and this made a
couple of people go, you know, get out of here
with that rhetoric. You know. The third thing I'm looking
(02:18:24):
at I'm saying, Wow, you really aren't thinking about Warner
Brothers Discovery. You really are not thinking about the executives,
are you, because they could be coming down pretty hard
on you after seeing this stunt. They could really start
(02:18:48):
making your lives very difficult and start giving you a
man date on what you can and can't do on
live television. And the business side of me, because I
know a thing or two about making money. I know
a thing or two about television production because in the
(02:19:11):
classes that I've been taking, I've had to sit down
not only create treatments for a television show, a film,
right a documentary or a movie, but I've also had
to sit down and talk about, Okay, here's the budget
for this production, here's what we're looking at, and as
(02:19:32):
far as you know, potentially what type of advertisers we
could attract, what type of sponsors that maybe we could
get that could possibly go for it. So I'm looking
at things from a business perspective, and I've got the
common sense to know that not just from a television
executive standpoint, but also from a advertiser standpoint. Sponsors, advertisers,
(02:20:00):
come on, now, let's not forget about that. One GCW guy,
I you know, and I love the fact that all
the other people that I respected, they were quick to
bring that up, very quick to bring that up. How
you know the GCW spot on A and W a
couple of years back, Domino's side by side picture in
(02:20:20):
picture Dominoes got win of that. They said, oh, hell no,
but we're not doing that again. I'll do you one
better than that. So we banned we banned the what
was it Jay Briscoe from ever appearing on AAW programming
because you know, some exact hurt still over and the
(02:20:44):
guy has ten times over and restitution, become a better individual,
all that. Like, we banned him. Even when the guy died,
you know, he was kind of you know, it took
him a minute to go, well, I guess we'll recognize
his passing, go back and count the ways, like so
(02:21:10):
much crap. That's like, now, we're not gonna do that.
We're not going to do that. We're not gonna do that.
We're not going to do that. But to spiked rusty
nail bat thing of Majigga going an inch plus deep
into the back of a wrestler on live TV, yeah,
we'll do that. And not only okay, but look, look, look,
(02:21:31):
not only do you not do that, but then afterwards
you don't have the common sense to go, you know what,
we can stop the match right here. Actually we can
let this be a continuing situation here, just we can
get this controversial segment over with, you know, match stoppage,
like we can just keep right like they don't even
do that, you do the Benny Hill run in everybody
(02:21:54):
is just you know, and the guy that has put
deep in his back somehow ends up winning the damn match.
Mind fucking blown. Seriously, my mind is is fucking blown.
(02:22:15):
And it's just the the over it's the overthinking of
the booking. Uh, the overexposure of you know, look, AW
is definitely for the sickos. But I've always believed that
just wrestling in general, it doesn't matter what those three
little letters are for that wrestling promotion. Just I don't
(02:22:36):
care who you are, Like, there's a smart way to
go about, you know, telling your stories, engaging your fans,
and you know, it's it's getting to a point where
Tony Kahan and AW if they are not careful. You know,
the best way I can I can I can summarize
(02:22:57):
a W. Tony Kahan, and how they approach things is
from this standpoint, and I've never heard anybody use this analogy.
Forgive me in advance if this sounds very crude, but
I'm gonna give it to you as blunt as possible.
It's like picking up a girl at a bar and
(02:23:19):
rather than go through the small talk, find out what
you all have in common, beliefs, whatever, and then maybe
start going out on a couple of series of dates,
you just walk up to her and you just blow
your load on her face. And you know then it's
(02:23:42):
kind of like, Okay, well that might be good for you,
you know, to get all that out of your system,
But what are you gonna do for a follow up?
That is aw Antony Kahn in a nutshell? And you know,
they continue to do this, They continue to do this,
(02:24:05):
and you know, eventually we get to a point where
the fans and there was no better proof than what
we saw of the fans and attendance for that matching question.
Go back and look at the footage. You had some
fans that were in shock and all that look kind
(02:24:25):
of a Paul disgusted. They couldn't believe what they were
seeing and these were AW fans. I still remember the
one old man with the AW shirt, hard camera front row,
at least in the first two maybe three rows, the
look on his face. You had people that were legit
laughing at this spot, you know, in AW it's getting
(02:24:49):
to that point there where where you know, it's kind
of becoming desensitized, if you will. We're kind of getting
to that point with a lot of the stuff that
we're saying, you know. And the other thing that you
definitely need to think about as well is what is
(02:25:09):
your audience? Who is your audience?
Speaker 1 (02:25:13):
Right?
Speaker 2 (02:25:14):
And what I mean by that is are we talking
blue collar people that's watching? Are we talking white collar?
What is the age demographics, what is the education level?
How many of these people that are watching our adults,
and of those adults, how many of those that are
(02:25:35):
adults are married. Of those that are married, how many
of them have children? Of those that are married and
have children or they're just partnered and they have children,
what are the age ranges of those children? All of
these things you have to be thinking about. You have
(02:25:57):
to know your d and look, if you're gonna continue
to just play to one particular audience knowing that as
a result of playing to just that one particular set
of audience, you're alienating you know, these other demos as
(02:26:20):
a result, and you're okay with that. Then you can't,
in the same breath complain when this is down. This
is down, attendance is down, viewership is down, the rating
is down. You know, what are we doing wrong? Like,
I don't understand what's what's going on here? You know,
(02:26:44):
we should be growing more, Like why can't we grow?
You can't be under that same breath when you're just
going to go, you know, the hell with, We're gonna
do our thing. That's all we're gonna do. We're gonna
do our thing, you know. And I've said it on
this show, off and on over the years, and that
(02:27:09):
is the fact that and it pains me to say this,
but as a wrestling fan that goes back as far
as the early nineteen eighties to still see that there
is a segment of folks that look down upon the
wrestling industry. Shit like what aw Tony Khan had pooled
(02:27:33):
last week, that is a prime example of all. You know,
it's just an idiotic, barbaric sport. You know, those people,
they do all kinds of stupid things to each other.
They're not thinking, they don't have any type of common
sense whatsoever. And you know their fans are no different.
You know, they're fans that watched that trash. They didn't
(02:27:58):
even graduate high school, they dropped out. They're they're getting
girls pregnant, you know, while they're still in junior high
and you know, oh well, you know a lot of them,
they're doing incests, all kinds of fire. And look, I'm
not telling you something that most fans don't already know
(02:28:18):
because a lot of veteran wrestling fans have been here
in this type of rhetoric that's been said about them
for decades. I still remember the time when Sports Illustrated, ESPN,
you know, you name it, like wrestling would not get
the coverage anytime of the day, Bleacher Report. I still
(02:28:40):
remember the period where wrestling was frowned upon. Yeah, it's
widely been accepted now, but you know, you still have,
trust me, you still have a lot of folks that
still frown upon that. And as long as this type
(02:29:00):
of rhetoric continues there, it doesn't help the calls by
by any stretch. I want for aaw to succeed. It
is very important for AW to succeed because for far
too long, this whole well, there's only one game in town.
And now with the inclusion of the digital age, the
(02:29:29):
digital media age, where we can check out various promotions,
push off a button on the web, or things to
an app or whatever, you know, things, our perspectives is
opened up ten times more. If we're tired of WWE,
it's like we got options. You know. I want for
(02:29:50):
AAW to be around for many, many years to come
and continue to thrive. But this stuff keeps continuing. Let
me tell you something. You're going to have more and
more advertisers, You're going to have more and more networks
(02:30:12):
go well, this is what we're afraid of. We don't
want stuff like this, and I don't my prediction if
AW Tony Conn continues on the path that they're going
right now, somebody is going to be seriously injured to
the point that, oh shit, you know, we're watching somebody
(02:30:32):
like practically die before our eyes as they're being taken
to the hospital. Like you've got to put a hard
stop somewhere where you go. No, we just were not
going to do that. That may sound like a really
cool idea, but that's all it needs to remain is
an idea. Look, just because they do that in the
video game does not mean we do that in real life.
(02:30:54):
Just because somebody drew that through AI or whatever, it
doesn't mean we need to do that in real life.
That's my thought process on that whole thing. But yeah,
I definitely was greatly, greatly disappointed when I saw all
that stuff go down there. Shout out to Chris Bay.
(02:31:18):
I see that there was the FCW benefit show in
his honor, and everything looked like that when off very well.
Nice to see the man walking on his own two
feet again. Other than that, it's about it. Yeah, you know,
(02:31:38):
I had posted on social media I got a new
Apple Watch series ten. I am loving it right now.
I'm loving the fact that I can check out my
rain camera on here. I like that I can quickly
check out text messages, the health joints, the health updates
(02:31:59):
is really good. I'm really a big fan of that.
It's funny. Be not funny. But I was out on
the road working and long story short, I actually fell
and I didn't even have this watch for two days.
And when I fell, like within seconds. They didn't even
(02:32:22):
take ten seconds I think it was maybe about three
to four seconds tops, and my phone started going off
and I'm like, what the hell and I look and
it goes, hey, you know, we detected that you had
a fault, like, you know, are you okay? And it
was giving me options like do you want to call
emergency or one of my emergency contacts or no, I'm okay,
(02:32:44):
and I was like, no, no, I'm okay. And so, yeah,
the fall feature works fantastic. It sucks I had to
find out that way, especially that soon, especially that soon,
but it was kind of one of those well, it's
nice to know that works pretty good. I'm still exploring
(02:33:06):
the cool features. But as I had said in my
community posts, I said, you know, hey, as far as
first impressions right now, I'm definitely loving it, and you know,
I definitely would recommend it. Yeah, I would definitely. You know,
one of the cool things that I also love about
having an Apple Watch is the fact that I have
a MacBook and so I no longer need my password
(02:33:31):
because I've enabled it so that, you know, as long
as I have my watch near me, like I can
just and my MacBook will automatically unlock, like I don't
even see the screen where they would normally be log
in credentials. I don't even see that. It just comes on.
I freaking love that. It is amazing. You can also
(02:33:56):
sync this up. I don't think enough people know this.
You can also pair this with your air pods as
well and listen to your music and all that. It's fantastic.
Navigating is great too, once you maybe on your phone
or your tablet, maybe you're you know, looking up Google
(02:34:16):
Maps and you're trying to get to a particular place.
I love how it does this pulsing vibration and sounds
to let you know, Okay, this turn is getting ready
to come up, so it literally prepares you like five
seconds before that turn actually happens. It's really really great.
(02:34:37):
I love it. I definitely recommend it. Some really cool
features that it has, and that's just scratching the surface.
There's like so much more cool things that this can do. Definitely,
you can set this up as a remote shot for
your phone or camera. Right once you have it on
(02:34:59):
a tripod, you've got what you need. You then go
to your watch and you can access the camera that
way remotely hit record or take your photo. A lot
of a lot of cool features that it does. So
if you are going to pick one up, definitely get it,
(02:35:20):
but I would stress to make sure you get the
cellular version. That way, if you leave your phone behind,
you'll be able to make calls, text people and everything
on your watch no matter how far the way you are.
You just basically need to add this to your current line,
(02:35:43):
you know. Do it that way and trust me you
will definitely you'll definitely thank me later. Before we get
ready to dip, I want to show this cool thing
that I got. So I had needed some earwoks from Amazon,
and I had saw Todd McFarlane had these Todd mods.
(02:36:06):
Now I know he's gotten another wave that's getting ready
to drop. One of them. Kind of looks like Frank
Miller inspired Superman. It's like an Overjack Superman. It's kind
of like this Overjack Batman that you guys are seeing
in my hands right now. Really really cool stuff here.
Don't let the box fool you. This is actually pretty
pretty small.
Speaker 1 (02:36:27):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:36:27):
My hands are actually pretty big, So those of you
that have actually got these before you can vouch that, yeah,
Lee's hands are pretty big, especially if I do it
the wide way, you know, I've got big hands. So
this is the Batman under Todd's mods, and this will
(02:36:49):
set you back about fifteen dollars. And I love the
cool little box that as. Let me try to zoom
in a little bit more here so you guys can
see this overkill. Frank Miller Batman pretty badass. And I
like the box design. I definitely agree with a lot
of the people that's saying, you know, the box design,
(02:37:10):
that's what it's all about. The box design is really
really cool, and I definitely agree. As far as you
guys going, how big is the actual figure? Lea, you're
looking at about four and a half inches, just about
just about four and a half inches, really really cool.
(02:37:31):
These are basically what I would call like desk figurines.
That's the best way I can sum it up. So
they've got that running around, there's a swamp thing version.
They've got a bane that's running around. There's a shark.
I don't know the name of the shark. They've got
Killer Croc. They got a Superman that's getting ready to drop.
(02:37:55):
There's something else that I'm missing that's part of the
next wave. But right now, as far as what available band, Batman,
Killer Croc. Be careful if you end up trying to
buy the Killer Croc because from what I understand, swamp Thing,
swamp thing. I don't know if swamp Thing is out
or if that's part of the the next wave, but
(02:38:17):
it's either swamp Thing or Killer Croc. One of them.
You can't put on the desk, Like, it doesn't stand
on its own. It keeps falling, and it's like, well,
that's weird, because thought the whole purpose of these things was,
you know, hey, if you want to put it on
the desk, let it chill in the background. You know,
like that's cool and everything. But I like the little
boxes that it comes in. It's pretty cool, so to
(02:38:40):
each its own is cause it's kind of one of those.
And these aren't action figures, these are these are little
mini statues, FYI. These are little mini statues. So I
think it's cooler in the box. But if you guys
want to, you know, take it out of the box
and all of that, go ahead. Have added. I don't
(02:39:01):
know if I'm going to be taking minds out of
the box just yet. I'm kind of on the fence.
I don't know. It's kind of fifty to fifty right now,
it could really go either way. Yeah, but those when
you see them, excuse me, those will set you back
fourteen bucks, give or take. That's not too shabby, right,
it's not too shabby, all right. I want to give
(02:39:21):
a shout out to our sponsors. I got to actually
sit down and take a look at who's who because
some of our sponsors our time with them has ended,
but we're working with some new sponsors. So I got
to get with my team and see, all right, who
are we promoting this go around? Well, shout out to
all of our sponsors, because without them, content like what
(02:39:41):
you're checking out right now would not be made possible.
We'll make sure we do proper shout outs for them
on the next episode. Also, shout out to my amigos
and miss Thomas Joe Numbers Wrestling Soup. Shout out to
my guy, I'm drawing a blank right now. It's getting
(02:40:02):
kind of late, you guys gotta forgive me what it
is getting kind of late. Julian Cannon of Digitay and
a Nocturnal shout out to him, and shout out to
you guys. You guys been representing all month long. Much love,
really much love. Much appreciated and everything, and make sure
you stay connected to the YouTube channel, show that a
(02:40:23):
lot of love. I've been uploading loads and loads more content.
Really appreciate the feedback that's been coming in for the
Domino's stuff Crust Petz. I recently reviewed it and I
had some unflattering things to say about it, and it's
nice seeing in the comments like a lot of you
guys have been having the same experience as well. We're
(02:40:45):
definitely gonna do a bonus show for you guys. I
know I said that last week. Sadly it didn't end
up happening because just some stuff was going on. But
everything's on the chill note this week, I'm thinking as
far as that bonus show goes, we'll probably do something.
(02:41:08):
We'll probably do something maybe Wednesday afternoon or maybe Thursday afternoon,
because I've yet to talk about Evolve. I definitely want
to show NXT some love as well some TNA as well.
Definitely want to talk some TNA as well, So look
out for that bonus show. We'll do that once I've
(02:41:28):
hammered out exactly the day and time. Just stay connected
on social media. You guys will definitely know about it.
But in the meantime, I'm wishing know if you ought
to be safe, most importantly, be kind to one another.
I will see you guys next go around. Audios y'all,
and take care. Thanks for listening. In Infinity One Productions presentation,
(02:41:49):
give me an honest, insightful and interactive
