Speaker 2 (02:11):
Lee and Tammy back with you guys for an all
new edition of Wrestling with the Topics. For this August
tenth of twenty twenty five. I am, as always Lee Sanders.
Join along with me, is the beautiful m the lovely Tammy.
We are so happy to be back with you all
for this episode. Loads of stuff to get into, but
(02:34):
I gotta tell you before we even dive into the show,
I gotta tell you. And and TAM's I hear her
already snicker, and she knows exactly what I'm getting ready
to say. This man cave needs some work. It needs
some work right pretty soon, very very soon. And I
(02:57):
know TAM's has this on her Christmas list and she's
she's gonna definitely try to figure out how to pull
it off. But eventually, you guys are going to seek
behind the scenes. I am implementing really cool ways as
far as video presentation. Now, I say that some of
you guys are like, but Lee, we already see your
(03:17):
face and all that when it comes to the Monday shows,
pay per views and all that. Yeah, but it's rare
that we do a video stream showing our mugs for
wrestling with the topics, right, And that's because behind the scenes,
I've been playing around with like different video switchers things
of that nature. And there's a piece of equipment that
(03:38):
I am eyeballing big time. TAM's already knows what I'm iballing.
That's going to be really cool when it comes to
multi streaming. But this man cave, particularly this L shaped
desk of mind, which you've seen me play around with
on the shows. I love this desk. I'm looking. I
cannot see Tams. I cannot see Tams any longer because
(04:01):
I got so much shit that's on this damn desk.
Anybody that like you guys have no idea. You check
out the webcast shows and you're like, oh, those are
some cool little nick knacks, But if you actually could
see what is on this damn desk, Okay, I've got
a big ass galactis seventeen inch head from AMC from
(04:25):
the New Fantastic Four movie that sits on top of
the James Gunn Superman popcorn joint, where Superman is basically
shooting laser beams at a big old popcorn joint. I've
got a four statue of vintage Thor from back in
(04:47):
the day. I've got a twelve inch Galactus figure that's
right next to a Rubik's cube. Right below that is
a Tony Montana scarface that is chilling in its box.
We've got the New Life is fighting the New Book
(05:08):
by carrying Cross, and we're definitely gonna be getting into
some carrying Cross news and just a hot, hot little bit.
There is tons and tons. There's still tons of other ship,
but the main thing right now for galactis Superman carrying Cross.
I love you guys, but I can't see Tams. I
(05:30):
can't see Tams. So the way I'm gonna have to
do this, I'm I'm gonna have to just lean back,
lean back. I'm gonna have to really extend this damn
and I still can't see her damn face. It almost
seems like what was the name of the neighbor on
Home improvement. You had the running gag where we never.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Saw his face, Yeah, basically his foreheaded maybe yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, And I'm trying to think if I remember correctly,
even when it came to the final episode, we never
saw his face. They teased it, but we never saw
his face. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I think they showed a different section of his face
or maybe not. Maybe I don't remember. That's been a
while ago, but no, we never saw his full face.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
It's crazy, man, It's fucking crazy. I can't Hey, there's
an eyeball. Hey, all right, we got an eyeball. That's progress.
That's progress. Oh my gosh. I hope you guys have
had a fantastic weekend. Weekend here in the Santa's household's
been going pretty damn good. Can't complain. I know you
(06:42):
have been pretty good. Do you feel nice and recharged
because you've been going at it pretty hard to pass
couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, and it all caught up with me this last weekend.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
I'm definitely better. You know. I feel much more well
well rested. You know, I kind of spent this weekend
just recharging. I had plenty of stuff that I probably
should have could have would have done. I did the
necessities and some not necessities actually, uh in the Sanders household,
(07:21):
you know, ours Lee's getting ready to go back into
college as in the university college. We've been kind of
preparing a little bit, or I've been preparing to make
sure that he has at least as essential to what
he needs. So there was some shopping there, but but mainly,
you know, just just chilling. Spence spent some probably much
(07:44):
needed time with the girls. They really have been really
truly seeing me in passing in the last couple of weeks.
The most they get to see of me generally is
me sleeping, so it was kind of nice to get
that recharge and then spend some time with them.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
You got to see how this woman has been running around.
I mean, she's been in so many damn directions the
past couple of weeks. Work and then taking care of Pops,
making sure that he's okay. Pops, by the way, I know,
there was definitely a decent amount of you guys from
a couple of months back when we told you about
the scary situation that happened with him in the nasty
(08:23):
fall that he had just an update because I know
I haven't really brought it up. Since he's doing good
for those of you that are wondering, he's doing good physically,
he's moving around a lot better. I think now he's
operating without the walker now right, Yeah, so now he's
moving around without the walker. He just got checked up
(08:44):
on getting some future laser surgery, so wants.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
To look into getting cataracts removed. And so we're kind
of in the process of that on whether he wants
to embark on that journey. He seems like he does,
so we're we're doing that and some follow up appointments
pretty much, you know, for people that age, you know,
(09:11):
the cardiologists, the primary doctor, this, you know, test that test,
and then of course, you know, just kind of throwing
the cataract possibility in there as well. The funny thing
is not this last Friday, but the friday before I
(09:32):
went I kid you not, guys. I went to the
eye doctor with him. The appointment was at nine thirty.
We pretty much were there at nine thirty, and I
swear to you that we did not leave until one fifteen,
and they did every test known to man on him,
(09:53):
which obviously, you know, I want them to be prepared,
and all of that, but it was like, whoa, I
expected it, Okay, an hour maybe two? Not what five?
Almost five? Yeah, not almost five. So and the funny
thing is when I talked to the receptionist, I said,
(10:15):
so this next appointment, how long is it going to be?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
And they said, oh, about an hour. I said that
sounds about That sounds good, I said, because I don't
know about another five hour appointment.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
So but.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
You know, he's doing good. He's you know, doing his
thing and you know, checking along, so he you know,
texts me when he needs something or something's going on.
But generally he's.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Doing Okay, that's what's up. That's what's up me personally.
As TAM's kind of elluded to, I am just enjoying
the calm before the storm. I was running around for
consecutive weeks going when am I going to see officially
in my transcript from community college, Yo, I got my associates,
(11:03):
when am I going to see that? Reflected it in
my transcript, When am I going to see it? When
am I going to see it? When am I going
to see it? And then finally I like actually stopped,
breathed a little bit, and then actually read my damn
emails and everything concerning that, and it was, Oh, the
date's been staring at me the entire freaking time. I
(11:26):
basically got to wait until this current summer session ends
and then about two weeks later that's when it'll go
into effect. I'm tripping because I want to give it
to the four year college I'm getting ready to transfer
to in the fall. I want to give them that
(11:46):
info that way they can go, Okay, so these last
little bit of credits, like cause, as it stands right now,
I'm going to be transferring with over sixty reddits. But
they told me, they said, look, once you get that
reflected on your transcript, that you got your associates from
(12:07):
that particular community college, then we're going to be working
definitely in the low seventies and you'll be exempt from
this this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this.
And I'm like, okay, great. So that's why I'm tripping
because it's kind of like, am I going to get
that in time? And I don't really know right now,
(12:27):
but that's what I've been kind of tripping over.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
So I do have a question, and you may forgive
me if you've already said this, and I think I
might be able to answer it on my own. But
once the transcript transcript is fully converted, the classes that
you're entered into for fall do not change that.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
I do not know. That is why I'm tripping right now,
because it because it's like I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Not to bore you guys, but it's like, I'm sure
those of you that have juggled college and all that,
you probably are kind of understanding where my head is
at right now. So I've been trying to mellow out
as best as i can. And then, of course my car.
(13:16):
I'm pushing a two thousand and three Honda Accord. I
love that car. Everybody remembers their first car that they
ever drove. My car, which is pushing two hundred and
seventy four thousand miles, she's getting up there in age.
She's got a couple of leaks in a couple of
different areas, at least three leaks. But I tell you what,
(13:37):
one of the last times that we had our mechanic
take a look at the car and we were telling
him what was going on with the condenser, I'm pretty
sure he did something because the condenser, as far as
the AC goes like that motherfucker is shot. Before they
started messing around with the car for upgrading the suspensions,
(13:59):
the brakes and all that, you know, we were telling
them you had a condenser. You know it's not working.
Da da da da. Man, I've been pushing that damn thing.
They probably worked on it last about almost a month
ago at least. And boy, that cold there and that car,
(14:19):
whoa that cold there is so damn good. Brother had
to go wait, wait, there's too much. There's too much.
Windows starting to get all frosty and shit like, wait,
this is too much. I think they did something. Oh
it's live pole, shit happens. I just built a cup
of water. I just got to keep powering through it.
(14:41):
That is why we don't have drinks over by. Luckily
it did not splash on the computer. That's the important thing.
That's the important thing. So we learned a very valuable lesson.
Keep all the drinks chilling way over here, far far away. Anyway.
Pretty sure they had did something because she got a
(15:04):
little bit wet. But she'll be all right. One of
our one of our fur little daughters, got a little
wet just now by that. Sorry about that, little buddy,
But anyway, yeah, so I bring up the car because
I'm hoping that I can get at least another year
or two. Now, see, if I stay on top of
the upkeeps all that shit, then the car is going
(15:26):
to be fine. Then the car is going to be fine.
If you know, here's the thing. It's just got to
be modest. Upkeeps right, Like what I mean by mod
is like something that doesn't really hurt the budget like that,
if it's just you know, tune up here, do this,
do that. But the best thing that my mechanic has
said to me, he said, look, the car is driveable.
(15:48):
You've got these leaks. You just need to monitor your
oil level and your power steering fluid. But other than that,
the car is safe to drive. So go ahead do
your thing. And if you know anything about Honda Accords,
those things are fucking beace. They are tanks. Especially when
(16:08):
you go to those older models like what I have.
Those things are beace, and you do them right, you
stay on top of upkeeps and all that, they can
last you a long long time. As far as the
malage longevity, my god, that particular make that particular year
and all that. There are models that are pushing what
(16:30):
TAM's like three hundred and fifty thousand, some even pushing
some have even pushed four believe it or not.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
But it depends on what kind of work you've done
with it.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
That is true. That is also true, so that I'm
hoping for that, and I'm looking into getting potentially an
electric scooter or an electric motor bike so I can
basically be in a good position where well, something affordable,
so that I can basically depending on where I'm parked
(17:03):
on campus, if it's kind of far, then I can
just pull out my scooter or unfold my bike and
I can go the rest of the way because it's
a pretty big campus where I'm going to and all that.
So I don't know if it's going to be a
case where I'm parked. Oh, it's just a five minute
(17:24):
walk now. I already told Tams, I say, look, before
the month of August is out, we gotta do a
goddamn test run. We got to drive up there to
the campus. Yeah, we got to drive up there to
the campus and then from wherever we're parked. That's when
I and we'll definitely know what's going on with the
parking situation, because as you know parking is going to
(17:45):
open up Monday for me to basically purchase, and then
once I'm able to figure out what pass I'm able
to get, then we'll be able to figure it out
based on the parking lots. Okay, I'm either going to
be here here, here, guys. I got to tell you
something fucking hilarious though. So I've been getting back into
(18:06):
magic the Gathering, and it's kind of weird how all
of this had spawned because the tipping point, believe it
or not, had to be the New Fantastic Four movie
I got. I don't know what the hell happened, but
somehow the New Fantastic Four movie. I guess it just little.
(18:27):
I guess it just did I say a little just now.
I don't remember saying little oh oh as far as
her being wet. Oh she got a bath. Oh poor
a little buddy for a little boy, she got a bath.
My bad. Yeah, that was a big cup of water.
But I think because of seeing the New Fantastic Four movie,
(18:47):
it unlocked the inner geeking me from years and years prior.
Maybe that's what it was. That's the only thing I
can think of, because Tam said to me, what is
your fascination with board games. All of a sudden, I
told her, I said, I don't know. I was like,
I came out of the New Fantastic Four movie kind
(19:10):
of wanting to embrace my gieky side more. And one
of those things was Magic the Gathering. And you know,
for magic to Gathering, you know what that is cool?
That Magic the Gathering. All these years later, it's still
going strong. I've heard that it's had slight ups and downs.
It's been going through respected waves. They've also gone through
(19:32):
some pop culture stuff, like they've done Spider Man Magic
the Gathering or you know, some type of movie themed
type of stuff. And so I said, no, no, no,
I don't need all that crap. Give me the old
school Magic the Gathering that I used to grow up
on in the nineties and all that. Give me that
(19:54):
mixed in with a little bit of flare of whatever's
going on today. So I picked up I think it's
called Boro Land. I picked up a starter kit deck
for me and TAM's, and then I picked up a
couple of boosters, and we've pretty much been playing what
if we played now three games? Yes the most so
we've played three games, the most recent game was Saturday,
(20:17):
and that game I bullshit you not, now, this isn't
you guys are just that bad? No, no, no, no, no,
that's how complex this game was. We played three fucking
hours one game. This is one game. We played three hours.
And let me tell you something. I wish we would
have had that game recorded, because you want to talk
(20:40):
about the comebacks of comebacks. Look, I don't know the
name of the cards yet, none of that. But Tams
pulled out this one artifact and this artifact card, every
time she decided to tap it, she'd gained three plus life.
Carrot Cake whatever, yeah, carrit Cake, Yeah, that's the name
(21:01):
of the card, alright, carriy cake.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
And every time something blah blah blah gain three life,
I'm like, and I'm thinking to myself, what the fucker
if I had something that could destroy that card, But
I don't. My deck does not have that. So I'm
going how to help? And all your man is pulling
is lands, that is all. And it is consecutively. I'm
pulling lands, okay. And at one point, and at one
(21:28):
point she goes up because I did do damage to
her early on because I said to her, yeah, I
ain't taking no mercy on your ass. She's like, yeah,
training wheels are off like a cow, bitch. I'm getting
you now. And I guess I spoke too soon, because
then it was okay, okay, he talking trash. Here you go.
(21:48):
I must have pulled like twenty something lands consecutively, not consecutively,
at least consecutively, yes, at least. Okay, okay, well, would
you admit to at least fifteen lands?
Speaker 3 (22:03):
I didn't meant to ten?
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Can we admit to thirteen?
Speaker 3 (22:07):
No?
Speaker 2 (22:08):
No, I'm no. I'm pretty sure it was at least
thirteen lands consecutively. I was ready to throw in the towel.
And then at one point, with this damn carrot cake
of hers and all that, I think I had. The
lowest I had her health points was at eight. Yes,
so it's coming back to me now. The lowest I
had her health points was eight, and then it was
(22:31):
eight to five life points. Then she gets that fucking
carrot cake, and I keep pulling land after land after land,
and I'm just like, I's got too much land. I
didn't know what to do. You want Jim you and
Jen mor Lago and a guth you and a goth.
You want to? He kept come on, a plenty of
(22:51):
real estate, great great stuff, and I'm like, come on, man.
And then finally she gets me down to two life points.
You can't make this shit up. She gives me down
to two life points and I'm like, oh, this is over.
I'm like this, this is it. And then all of
a sudden, I had the sweetest fucking comeback because at
(23:17):
that point she had twenty nine life points with that
carrot cake. So she went from eight shot all the
way up to twenty nine and I stayed at two.
And then I made the comeback of comebacks, and I
whooped that ass. I loved it. I loved it. That
(23:38):
had me. I was feeling all good and shit, and
I did some research online. I'm like, what's the longest
game that's ever been played for Magic to Gathering with
like two players or whatever, and it's like eight hours.
I'm like, what, Oh my god? Eight hours? How wow?
Like how is that? So? The fact that we did
(23:58):
three hours and it it was just you know, from
one game. And I asked TAM's afterward. I said, I said,
do you think you have too much land? She goes, nah, no,
I'm pretty good, like, you like your deck, you need
any tweets? She's like, no, I'm good. I'm like cause
she's pushed on a white and green deck.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
So, guys, just to give you a little bit of
a background.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Watch her short change herself. She's not she about to
short change herself. Watched this, Watch this go ahead.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
No, basically, I was just getting ready to say, is
I've only really prior to the physical copies of the cards.
I played it a little bit like what six eight,
ten years ago through like when Lee had the Xbox
three sixty and I played it a little bit then
(24:46):
and then we go back to the physical part of
it and meaning the cards. So I literally in the beginning,
like the first game, I'm like, okay, Lands, I got
(25:07):
that part, Okay, cool, whatever the other thing is once anyway,
So basically lands and top cards for extra lives, I
got you, like, you know, But guys, for someone who
(25:29):
literally played Uno and Spades or gold Fish or something
like that to go into counterpoint damage attack and knowing
all the variables in that, holy shit, and it's kind
(25:55):
of like, yeah, this is this is a lot more challenging,
and especially when yes, you can read the cards. No,
I mean, yeah, the cards tell you what to do.
That's that's not that's not the problem. The problem for
me in the beginning, and I'm getting better at it.
The problem for me in the beginning was Okay, I
(26:19):
know what I've got, but I don't know how the
fuck it essentially excuse my French, how it pertains to
what you've got. And but you know, three games in,
it's it's getting Part of the reason I didn't want
to change the deck because I'm still I'm just starting
to get used to it, so I don't necessarily want
to give myself another curve ball in reference to that.
(26:42):
But yeah, and I was like, Jesus Christ, this game
is still going to grim Toldally, I'm like, the girls
need to eat. So we actually had at one point
not stop the game and feed the girls and take
them for a walk because it was kept going.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Girls were like, hello, why, yeah, you know, I will admit.
I will admit, and usually I'm somebody that can catch
you on like real quick. But I gotta admit. Some
of the new stuff that they've put in magic, vigilance,
scary powersss or powers, what's the menace like that type
(27:28):
of shit. All I remember when I was last playing,
was first Strike, Haste, Trample, Like, those are the three.
Those are the three that I remember. Those are the
three that I remember the most. So all this new
terminology stuff it's like over my head. But not for nothing.
(27:52):
We came across some scenarios in the game that we played.
We came across some scenarios where it was like wait
a minute, time out, and we had to get AI
to help us. So I would highly encourage you, Like
if if you've thought about playing Magic the Gathering and
you're just kind of like, ah, jeez, I don't really know.
(28:12):
Lee TAM's like I don't really know, Like, you know,
get yourself a little starter deck for you know, starter
decks for you and your friends. Combine it with your
favorite AI. And because AI was like, okay, you got
what car? Okay, this is how you play Boom and
like and the way I would ask Ai, I would say,
(28:34):
break this down to me, help me understand how to
play this card. And I would say this word for work,
help me understand how to play this card. Talk to
me like I'm stupid, talk to me like I'm a
five year old kid. And AI would not talk to
me you know, condescending or anything like that. But AI
would basically go, Okay, I hear you, So here's how
you play that. And it was like, oh, okay, all right,
(28:57):
cool bet and yeah, but I would definitely say, man,
technology today it's never been this good. I wish we
had the technology that we had now for way back then,
because I remember when I first started playing Magic, I
felt like, you, if not worse. And what got me
(29:22):
like over time was when I found like minded people
that also enjoyed playing the game. And so there'd be
like five, and then it grew to ten, and then
at one point there was like twenty of us that
regularly were playing it, and we were just kind of,
you know, offering our own little world and that's how
(29:42):
we all got better. But like essentially picking it up
ice cold, almost essentially twenty years later, Yeah, there probably
is going to be a few changes and all that
other good stuff. So that's that's what's been happening there.
(30:02):
We're supposed to start playing Hero Clicks. I was talking
to miss the other day because I was trying to
get some advice from him. I said, I said, Miss,
I said, have you started playing Hero Clicks or have
you ever played hero clicks? He was like, oh, yeah,
the Kittles used to play that back in the day,
and that really made me feel old here and now
(30:22):
I was like, well, shit, I don't miss the damn
bo forgive me, you know, it's twenty twenty five, I know,
but you know, but that's something else that we're trying
to get into. But I'm waiting for a couple of
more pieces to come in on that. Hey, let's tackle
some major news that had happened in between. I did
(30:43):
not plan on talking about this here today, but it's
a big deal. It's definitely a big deal. Let's talk
about carrying Cross and it's beautiful and his lovely wife,
Scarlet as a lot of people are reacting to the
fact that they have been moved to the WWE alumni
(31:05):
section on the website. Apparently the last word was before
everything went down, Scarlett but more specifically Carrie and Cross
was given a new contract by WWE, but that it
(31:27):
wasn't signed. And as far as Dave Meltzer was concerned,
as well as you know, Mike Johnson a few others
from what they were kind of gathering there, it was well,
you know, it should just be a matter of when
Carrie and Cross resigns with WWE. Like he's he's definitely
(31:49):
gonna He's definitely gonna be sticking around. And at least
as far as Dave Meltzer was concerned, Carrion ain't going nowhere.
And Carrion has been on the roll. He's got a
independent movie that's getting ready to come out very very soon.
He's got a new book that just came out. I
(32:10):
literally got my copy in the mail earlier today, Life
is Fighting. I'm looking forward to reading that book. Looks
like a very short book too. I love when books
are this short. I gotta say, I'm looking at about
two hundred and forty five pages. For those of you
(32:32):
that's curious, that's how short this book is. So I
would be.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
It's a paperback, guys.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Yeah. And oh he got some pictures in here too,
even some colorful pictures too.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
That's in here apparently, so the you know, it's not
one of those real small print you know, you need
a magnifying glass to see it, just so they can
fit enough words on the page. No, it looks like
an easy read.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Yeah, yeah, it does. Yeah, to your point, I mean,
if I were to get started today. This looks like
I should be done. I would say three weeks maybe
under that. If I'm really, if I'm really dedicating the
free time to it, I think I'll be done with
this and no time. But but so he's got his
new book that's out okay, which early reviews it's coming
(33:17):
is very very good, very good. If you give me
just a week, I promise I will have a review
for you guys on the book, and I'll let you
know whether or not you should definitely go out of
your way check it out and everything. I'll be honest.
But yeah, So that's currently what's going on with Carrie
and Cross. A lot of people are under the impression
(33:40):
he's perhaps done with the WWE. Carrie and Cross had
put out a statement or two kind of pretty much
addressing the rumors that was going out there leading up
to him being moved to the alumni section, and I quote,
(34:00):
I can't really speak to any of the legitimacy of
anything that is being recently reported, but I'll tell you
right now, everyone's going to know exactly what's going on
very soon. They're gonna know now he said all this Thursday.
Keep that in mind before everything went down over the
weekend with him being moved to the alumni section. I'm
(34:23):
still under contract. I saw a bunch of stuff online today.
What is today Thursday? I don't know when you're putting
this up, but today's Thursday. I saw a bunch of
stuff online today. I don't know when it's coming, where
it's coming from, and I don't care to speak to
any of it. But I mean, all I can tell
(34:45):
you is the only way you're gonna get the real
story is when you get it from me. That's all
I can tell you. So that is where things currently stand.
And of course you know, not for nothing but myself.
God rest is soul. The late Kevin Castle. Me and
(35:10):
him were like the earliest ones, Kevin more more earlier
than I was, because Kevin was checking him out like
independent ended, like when the dude was really first starting off.
I came in. He came under my radar naturally when
(35:33):
I was seeing him working with the MLW promotion. And
this was way way before he hooked up with TNA
Wrestling and and all that other stuff. But I came
across a big bulk of his work in MLW, and
I was telling people way back when for our longtime listeners.
I said, Yo, this is a guy that y'all need
(35:55):
to have your eyes on because this dude, he's definitely
he's definitely going places. You know, watch this guy. Watch
this guy. And then I was so over the moon
and back when he ended up hidding over the TNA
because for me, especially at the time, that TNA had
the you know, the they had more visibility than what
(36:22):
was going on with MLW. So I was very excited
to see him over. Of course, I even remember his
stuff briefly in Lucha Underground. Now that I'm really taking
a step back and I'm thinking about it, I even
remember his stuff. Wow, you know what, It just dawned
on me. He did something with Global Force Wrestling. Yeah,
(36:44):
he did something with Global Force Wrestling right out about
the time. I remember seeing his work in Lucha Underground
and everything. So, but he's been with the WWE since
twenty twenty, all right, and we know that during the
Vince McMahon reign. Vince McMahon he had this weird I
(37:10):
don't know if he was watching Silence of the Lambs
or if he was watching What's that all time al
Pacino underrated movie that I like where he plays an
undercover cop and he's trying to find it a no listen, listen, listen.
He plays an undercover cop and he is trying to
(37:31):
find a homosexual killer. Don't you all say curproco because
I just gave you no I know how curpical is
this Cruising? That's the name of it, Cruising. It came
out like around somewhere between nineteen eighty and nineteen eighty three.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
You showed it to me once and I couldn't remember
the name.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
If you want a mind fucker of a movie, you
guys gotta check that out like it's actual. I'll tell
you what. If you can't find out on a streaming platform,
it's worth buying. That is a cult, underground classic. Al
Pacino is just what a great cast in that movie.
(38:16):
Paul Sorvino is in there, and just to see the
mental breakdown of al Pacino's character, right, you know, he's
he's he's trying to find this homosexual killer that is uh,
you know, just as I said, you know, I mean,
he this dude don't care. You know, he'll he'll kill
(38:38):
transgendered people, you know, but he really loves killing homosexual men.
He like frequents the bars and clubs, and and he's
killing them left and right. I mean, it's it's freaking ridiculous.
And wait until you get to the end of the movie.
The end of the movie, you just go, what the
hell just happened? You're like, what did I just watch?
(38:59):
How it is? But yeah, Vince McMahon, I guess maybe
he saw Albacino and cruising too many times because he
decided that he wanted to put carry and cross and like,
you know, why not give the man some fucking chaps,
Why don't you letter chaps? I mean, he gives him
(39:19):
this weird spiky mask that has this hole and this
weird attire that's got like this S and M Dominatrix
type of thing going on, and God bless Carrion's soul.
Carrion is doing his very best to sell that shit,
but it's not the same. And those of us that
(39:40):
watched Carrion when he came up through NXT, we're like, yo,
this is badass. Like what you see the current presentation
that you see of carrying across Now, that's what we
got in NXT. But when work kept going back to Vince,
so you gotta look at this guy. You gotta look
at this guy. You know, Vince just goes yeahs and
(40:02):
am mashed and bondage and yeah, and it was like
whatever do And so it was flat when he was
on the May roster, the first rodeo under the Vince
McMahon regime, it was a big ol'd wet fart. And
I guess because it didn't live up to Vince McMahon's expectations.
(40:24):
I guess Vince McMahon pulled to Alec Baldwin and Glenn
Gary Glenn Ross. You know, you're weak. You know, it's
like the leads are weak, or in this case, the
creative was weak. The creative was weak. You're fucking weak.
You know. It's kind of one of those type of things.
But it seems that since Triple H Paul Levec has
been at the Helm Times, it seems that Carrion has
(40:51):
he's been eating good, you know, creatively and outside of WWE,
you know, he's got a lot of good things going
on and everything. So, uh, I got to give the
floor to you based on a little bit that you've
seen of carrying across through the years. Uh, and and
hearing that he's now in the alumni section and and
(41:11):
and all that stuff. Are you are you buying that
carryon is done with the WWE or in this new
in this new Triple H Paul e vec WWE era
where Triple H is basically saying you like that, Yeah,
that was cool. Huh, just sit back and enjoy the show.
(41:34):
You know, we got this guy that's basically telling us,
don't believe everything that you see and hear. You know,
we thought our truth was gone and and then you know,
but but we got our truth. Son saying no, no, no, you.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
Know, well, hell, I mean just as what you what
I was telling you about a week ago when I
heard it from his own lips, when he literally said, oh,
well John, you know John Cena wanted Rock Lesner, you know,
he requested him, and John shot back a couple of
(42:13):
days three four days later and said, I keep telling
you this. I've been telling you this ever since I
started basically you dealing with play them. Yeah, So it's
kind of interesting. A reference to, you know, what is
really the truth kind of deal and reference to.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
I'm gonna move Galactus because I gotta see your face.
It's just it's just so it's too it's cool, but
it's too distracting. There we go. Now I get to
see your pretty face for the rest of the show.
That's how it should be, damn it.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
And reference to Carry and Cross, you know, it takes
a lot of momentum to build back up a person
once you change their their gimmick, and it seems like
things were going in the right direction, you know, in
reference to the time he was getting the momentum that
(43:10):
he was getting. Now it's kind of interesting that they
do that. But yet he's like, well, you know, if
you want to hear it, hear the story from anybody,
you should hear it from the horse's mouth. I don't know.
(43:30):
I don't know what's happening there. It could be a ruse,
or it could be you know, there's a restructure, and
you know the people who are coming up, and then
the people who are really putting asses and seats and
selling the merch are the ones that's day.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
Well, to your point, let's talk about that. I mean,
anybody that's been watching the WWE product for the past
six months, there's no deny eying that Cross has been
getting more and more over with fans to the point
motherfuckers are now cheering him. Not just on the TV shows,
(44:11):
they're cheering for him at the post I mean, he
got a hell of a pop at SummerSlam, not just
for the match with Sammy's Am, but then even when
it came to the Summer Slam post show and Triple
H was talking to the panel and they all were like,
we want Cross, we want Cross, and Triple H is like,
you want Brock. Yeah, I hear, yeah, I want Brock too.
(44:34):
It's like fuck that, you know, like, no, we're talking
about Cross. You know, fans several weeks back went to
Cross and said, dude, how come we're not seeing your shirts.
We're at these events. Oh wow, we're trying to buy
your shit. What's going on? And He's like that's a
good point. He's like, let me see what I can do.
(44:55):
And he pulled some strings and you know, talked to
and and now they're selling his shirts at live events.
And if I'm not mistaken, he's kind of he might
not be in the top three, but folks love them
some Cross merch. Okay, So all these good things that's
(45:17):
going on. And I love the fact that in regards
to his new book, which is by ECW Press, which
By the way, WWE not doing anything to promote Carrion's
(45:37):
book that I've seen, right. WWE loves to self suck
every chance that they get. Okay, they love to self
suck when their talents are doing. Stay look, I mean,
tell me I'm lying. Guys, tell me I'm lying. Let
me know when I'm lying. Let me know when I'm lying. Okay.
(46:01):
I just watched Roman Reigns get love for his little
brief cameo in the new Eddie Murphy key Key Palmer movie.
Is that her name, key Key Palmer? Okay, she's cute.
By the way she's she's cute. Kind of kind of
reminds me a little bit of the homegirl from Fresh
(46:21):
Prince of bel Air. The TV series Oh Ashley.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Her stage name was Ashley Ashley. Yes.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
Yes, when I was growing up, I had such the
crush on her. Yeah. I still remember the episode where
Tevin Campbell I just I just wanted to punch him
in the face. I just wanted to punch that motherfucker
in the face. I'm like, maka you soft? Okay, boy?
(46:51):
Was I on the money? Let me be nice, Let
me be nice. I didn't mean that. I didn't mean that.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, that was mean. That
was mean. I'm sorry, I'm you know, still the old
league kind of you know, comes out from time to time.
(47:12):
I'm trying. I'm more domesticated now, I'm old man Lee. Now. Anyway,
Carrying Cross, I see romy Rain's in this new Adie
Murphy movie, and WW is just self sucking the fuck
out of you know. Oh yeah, it's like, well what
about my man carry and Cross? My man carry and Cross,
(47:35):
like was able to get this book deal and you know,
I mean he's got this independent movie. Like if there
was ever a time where like, y'all should you know
this is what you want to see? Right?
Speaker 3 (47:49):
One would think so.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
So it's it's it makes.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
You wonder, Like for me hearing all this, guys, it
really makes you wonder if he didn't truly pissed somebody off.
And I mean you start pulling the dudes merch before
he even is gone.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Why wait, wait, what do you mean pulling his merch?
Speaker 3 (48:12):
They can you find it at the shows?
Speaker 2 (48:14):
No? No, no, no, he didn't have merch before, right,
But so fans were going to WW events and they
were like, where's the Cross merch?
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Oh, they didn't pull it.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
They it just wasn't available. Yeah, it just wasn't available. Now,
you could go to his website, you could go to
the right, you could go to the ww website. But
if you were at the live shows, there was no
cross merch. And some of the fans that were at
those events took their complaints to him and he was like, well,
let me see what I can do.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
That's interesting though still interesting. It is because if you
have somebody house show or main show. You and I
both know from concerts events that we've both been to
over the years, everybody on that stage, no matter how
big or small, had some type of merch at the
(49:09):
tables at some point, even if it wasn't at this
vendor little section, go two, three exits down and then
there was another vendor table. So that's still interesting that
one of your major stars and.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
You don't have merch for him.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
So either they were already trying to phase him out,
didn't believe he was going to make the comeback that
he did, or already started, you know, looking at an
(49:53):
exit strategy. That's that's really that they would rub a
represent and work that way, because for everybody else, I
can imagine that there was merch there for.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
Them, oh without a doubt.
Speaker 3 (50:09):
And yeah that that just doesn't sound right. So that
just doesn't sound right.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
I am curious to learn. I would love to be
a fly on the wall. I would love to learn
if whatever deal was offered, if it's if the reports
are true that the deal was offered, and he pretty
much was like, I'm not feeling that. I'm curious if
it was a case where they factored in his age,
if age was even a factor, because he's just you know,
(50:37):
he's forty, So his age even a factor. I don't
really think so, because Damian Priest, I think it's like
a couple of years older than him. And we saw
Damien Priesce ultimately become a world champion.
Speaker 3 (50:50):
And then you have I mean that grant you.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
John Cenas what forty five, forty six, and he they
just made him a champion, right and punk and see
him punk? Yeah for five it's at least yeah, right.
But to your point, yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:03):
He's selling merch, he's still on the roster, you know
all of that. Well, let's just say that he's still
in his prime.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
I mean, well, let's take it to step further. Let's
take it to step further. Let's take it a step further.
If Cross is done with w w E, Okay, they
couldn't come to terms on a new deal when it's
all said and done. In your mind, two part question,
did WWE do Cross justice creatively this go round under
(51:40):
the new Triple H Paul Leovec regime? Or did Cross
not do enough? Or do you feel it's a combination
of the two, because in my eyes, from what I'm seeing,
I feel as though Cross did enough. From all the
great video production and joints that he puts up on
(52:01):
social media himself as continuations of whatever few feuds he's having,
he independently does on his own. And why, for the
love of me, WWE has not leaned heavily into that
because it complements their programming so well, Like the way
(52:22):
he edits and films his shit. It's like, dude, you
can literally take that and just put it up on
your on your next No, you can put it on
on your b ro footage for Monday Night raw. Like literally,
that's how good he shoots his shit. And like this
(52:43):
guy and he's been doing this for years. It's not
like you know, those of us that's been following him
since his MLW days. At least, this dude's stayed like
social media stuff, right, so he knows his stuff when
it comes to video editing, you know, lighting for topography,
he knows his stuff. That's one guy. As far as like,
(53:03):
if I could pick his brain from a technical production
media production standpoint, oh my god, I'd have a field day.
It probably would be like a boring conversation for a
lot of the people because they want to be like
wrestling wrestling wrestling. But no, I would love to just
talk to him about all those little nuances. What say you? Though?
Would it be a combination more so failure on WWE?
(53:26):
What say you?
Speaker 3 (53:29):
I think if there was any fault to be had
in Carrion's way is maybe and maybe he is maybe,
we don't know, but it's kind of like, okay, so guys,
why don't you have my merch out? Why don't you
(53:51):
have you know, more this or more that, video packages
from this or that, because now, grant you. The other
thing is also true as well, when people can't find
something they want it more so there is that part
(54:15):
of the process. I don't I don't know. I mean,
I would consider it a definite l for WWE and
reference to the fact that you know if if.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
That's not the question, the question is who's that fault?
I think both, Okay.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
I think both. I think as a entertainer, you want
to make sure that you still stay relevant and when
you are relevant, why not push, not push hard enough,
but push for your spot, push for your you know
(55:04):
what's yours, especially if you know that you're starting to
get the fan base in your pocket. I mean, hell,
at least if you say, Okay, I did this, this, this, not,
and the fan base at a later date you're like, yeah,
well I did this, this and that. They just weren't
(55:25):
hearing me. Probably can't say that now because he's still
in the contract or still in negotiations. But as an
entertainer and as someone who wants to remain relevant, you
should fight for that. What can I do to make
(55:46):
this better or not or whatever? And with WWE, whether
it's he's on his way out or the reason being
for certain things, I just I don't know.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
Yeah, you're talking to riddles. You had me and you
got me. You got my head in riddles on that one.
I was trying to follow you there Okay, let me
let me try to address this because I'm gonna give
TAM's a little bit of an exit here because TAM's,
although she has seen Carrie and Cross over the years,
she probably hasn't really been looking at him enough to really,
(56:23):
really definitively make a formal conclusion as a casual wrestling fan. So,
although I've been following his career for many years and
he's definitely a friend of the show, I'm gonna I'm
gonna say this, and I'm always gonna be honest. Always.
(56:48):
Two things can be said that's true. Two things can
be said that's true. Now, I think from a WWE
creative standpoint, I think ww has failed Cross leading up
to now. I think they have failed him. Now, don't
get me wrong. The few that he had with Sammy
(57:10):
Zain great, great shit, But Yo, if you're really trying
to help elevate somebody, make them be a household name,
you got to have them rub elbows with certain people.
We should have been seeing cross cross paths with CM Punk. Okay,
(57:33):
a CM Punk carrying cross feud? Why that has not happened?
And you're just thinking about how both of these guys
are on the microphone. Oh my god, that shit would
have been epic. Okay, Carrying Cross fucking around with AJ Styles,
(57:53):
you know, I mean really really messing with the head
of AJ Styles. That would have been really good. You
could have also had Carrying Cross messing with Cody Rhodes.
Mm hmm okay, I mean, man, you had so many
(58:14):
golden opportunities, and then you know, before you went the
route that you did with Chad Gable. Man, does he
imagine if you're trying to get a babyface Chad Gable over,
you know, like you're really serious, You're trying to have
him go to that next level. You're trying to have
(58:35):
him be main event material, World Heavyweight Championship material. Just
imagine putting him in a feud with Carrying Cross and
Chad Gable was like the new kurd Anngle. I mean,
people always all I see the rhetoric that's out there,
Carrying Across, he can't wrestle worth the damn. It's like,
look not for nothing. But if all I'm watching from
(58:57):
a goonther match is a bunch of fucking and I
gotta choose between a bunch of fucking chops and carry
and Cross, I'll take carry and Cross any fucking day
of the week, thank you very much. Okay, goother is
only as good as the opponent he has in the ring.
So many people love the match that he did. Would
(59:18):
see I'm punk because that was the most technical style
of a match that Guther has ever been involved in
since he's been part of the main roster. Wow, that's
the Guy's the honest truth. That's my two cents on
that from a distance, but from a creative standpoint, I
just gave you guys some ideas and you all can
fill in the blanks of your own. That's watched the
(59:38):
product regularly of Yo. Yeah, they did look Paul Haymon
and them didn't have to go that far to find
themselves another guy. Help. They can still get themselves another
guy and carry and cross. How bad as would that
be to have carry in and Scarly be part of
that vision stable that as they're calling or whatever. So
(01:00:00):
you know, I said this on the Monday Show. Carrion's
situation reminds me a lot of the actor Jonathan Majors,
because we saw how good he was as he who
remains second season of Loki and then you hear, oh
he's gonna be the big bad villain going you know,
the big bad guy going forward for the Marvel Universe,
(01:00:23):
and we're gonna see him in at Man Quantu Mania
And that movie flopped put to the side. How bad
the CGI was, the script was weak, but because of
all the controversy that went down with Jonathan Majors, you know, oh,
well you know that actor, Kevin Feigey, that actor, that guy,
(01:00:44):
the Caine guy, the Cane actor, that person, and it's like,
damn you act like he did a Cris Ban wah.
You know, it's it's like, okay, you you okay that
you're not proud of that movie. You're not proud that
it bombed, And okay, well, who fault is that? Because
you had the talent.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
He's already proven that he can do that, right, So
it's not really about him. You want to find place
to put blame, right.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
So I blame wwe. I look at Carrie and Cross.
I look at everything that he's been doing, you know, weekend,
week out, month in, month out, and I have to
ask myself the legit question, has Cross done enough? Did
(01:01:34):
he do enough to warrant? And see I'm just on
the outside looking in right, I could see some things
that would maybe suggest that if I'm WWE, well, his
intentions are elsewhere, his attention span is elsewhere, and since
(01:01:57):
he's focused on those things, well that's okay. We got
these other guys over here. Oh wait, so you really
do want this? Oh oh well, you were going in
these other directions, so you right my whole thing? No, no, no, no no.
I don't mind you being successful if I'm WW, if
(01:02:17):
I'm a wrestling promoter, I don't mind you doing these
other endeavors. Now I happen to be the type of
businessman and all that. Oh you got a new book,
bet yo, let's combine, let's join forces, let's partner up.
I can do yo. You know, we got the marketing,
we got the brand. Yo. How about we do a
little tour. How about come on, I want to put
(01:02:39):
some money behind this. Like WWE is not thinking from
that standpoint, and they should, because it should be that
sorority of Hey, when you're doing good, we all doing good,
and when you eating, we all eating. So we're gonna
help each other out with this when not the whole
Oh well, we didn't have anything to do with that,
(01:03:01):
so we don't care about that, right, And then the
way some promotions would operate, especially with WWE. Oh you
want to go run off in do that little independent movie. Yeah, okay,
well we'll go get this wrestler over here and we'll
go that's okay. Oh oh oh, now you want more
TV time. Oh now you want more promo time. But
(01:03:26):
you were making your little movie over here, and you
were doing right right. So if I'm carrying a cross,
I'm literally having the conversation that I would be personally
having with WWE is, Look, if I'm going to commit
to you guys for another two, three, four or five years,
I need a firm commitment on like, you know what
is in the immediate pipeline. How are you guys looking
(01:03:50):
at things for me during the course of you know,
the next six months. What are we thinking for the
next year? Okay? Where do we hope to be by
this certain juncture?
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
You know, I don't want to just sign just to
be signing. You know what exactly is the vision? What
do you all see? You know what can I bring
to the table for you? Because I know what I
can do, right, I know what I could do. I
know what I'm gonna bring to the table. But what
are you all willing to right that way?
Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
So this it's a very interesting situation. But if you
want to pick my brain and ask me straight up,
like do I think Carrying Cross is done with WWE,
I don't think so. I don't think so. My whole
thing is just sit back, enjoy the show right the way.
Enjoy the show. Enjoy the show. If you are a
(01:04:45):
fan of Cross even more the reason why you should
be supporting the man by his book or support the
man as best as you can, right because I promise
you those shirts, those books, the people that show up
for his signings when he does them ww is gonna
be looking at all that shit and they're gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
Be oh m hm oh, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
That's gonna be the real you know. But this is
a this is a term I think this is how
does Carry and Cross think? I'm gonna say this inclosing
of Carrying Cross And there's the reason why I'm going
on and on them, because it's so multi layered. How
this situation goes down with Carry and Cross will tell
you all you need to know about how Triple H
(01:05:33):
is rolling in this new paulovec era, Because if he
does let carry and cross walk. There are some mcmahonisms
that are still at play, which is, well, we didn't
make this, and since we didn't have a hand in
(01:05:58):
making this, we don't like this, and that is something
that Vince McMahon was notorious for back in the day.
So we'll see how this plays We'll see how this
plays out. Also looks like WWE chose not to renew
(01:06:18):
Ashanti the Adonnas. He is now a free agent Ashanti
the Adonnas. You know, what can I say about Ashanti
the Adonnas Really not much. I mean I saw a
little bit of his work here and there. I mean
(01:06:39):
he was he was okay, Don't get me wrong, he was.
He was okay. Thirty two years old, New Jersey. I
think he'll be okay. I mean, he still has youth
on his side. He's only thirty two. He's definitely somebody
that I've been pretty familiar with from the MCW Pro
(01:07:00):
Wrestling promotion, that's Maryland Championship Wrestling. I know he had
a brief little stint in ro Wage and he's pretty
much been in WWE since twenty nineteen and everything. There's
some stuff on two five Live. I know he had
matches against Tyler Breeze, Tony Nice. He was one of
(01:07:25):
the people that was part of hit Row with Isaiah Swerve,
Scott Scott Strickland. Oh, sorry Swerve Strickland and ae W
and everything. I think he will be just fine. I'm
honestly surprised that he lasted this long. I know. One
(01:07:45):
of the last things that was going on before his
exit from WWE, he was with the Meta four and
well actually no, no, no, no, no, he was defeated. Yeah,
he was feuding with the Metal Four. Yeah, yeah, I'm
remembering it right. Sorry about that, guys, the Metal Four,
Noam Dar Oral Mensa, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson. Yeah, he
(01:08:11):
was feuding around with them and everything. He'll be okay,
I don't I don't see him just going, well, that's
it for me. Guess I'll go do something else. No,
I think he's gonna end up. There's TAM's again, always
fucking around with something between between the shows. Put that
ship down. Let's talk thunder Rosa. Yeah. But when you
(01:08:36):
do that, I know, yeah, yeah, but when you do that.
So I have a golden rule when it comes to
the show is because most of the stuff is in
my head, and and and like I only have like
the bullet point of what we're supposed to be talking about.
So I don't know what I'm gonna say, and I
don't know what TAM's is gonna say. But one thing
(01:08:57):
that like always causes disruption is when I see somebody
when I'm live on the air and I'm like, like
live conversation, I'm staring right at them. I can't stand
it when a person is taking like little knick knacks
and they are just fidgeting with them, because then it
throws me off, especially if it's if it's not quiet fidgeting.
(01:09:20):
You know, if you're just maybe rubbing your fingers together
like that, that doesn't bother me. If you're fucking around
with Rubik's cube, that doesn't bother me. But if you're
doing something where you're taking maybe a pair of scissors,
just that little banging, clanging sound that maybe you just heard,
or you're maybe taking a pair of scissors and you're
clipping them just like this. You're clipping them like that,
you know, after a while, it's like, what the fuck
(01:09:42):
was I saying? Could you stop that? It's kind of
one of those type of things. Let's talk thunder Rosa.
So thunder Rosa. Unfortunately, there is this wrestling fan on
Twitter and his handle name says it all unpaid critic,
(01:10:06):
so you already know what he's about. So he posts
this thing on social media a couple of days ago
where he shows this post of a screenshot of thunder
Rosa and thunder Rosa is in her brawl and panties
(01:10:29):
and you know, basically it is a cooking with thunder
Rosa or whatever the hell the name of her show
is okay, And he has this thing where he does
not say it is his personal opinion, but he says
(01:10:52):
something along the lines of, oh, aw, internally are upset
with thunder Rosa's new Patreon series. I'm looking at it
right now. Aw internally not happy with wrestler thunder Roses
cooking and my underwear show. Now, when you read that,
(01:11:15):
you're like, whoa, whoa, And here's the thing, here's the
thing I can just picture like click bait mofos. Oh yeah,
that would just run with that and breaking news, you know,
it's like, you know, fuck you you fake as me
(01:11:38):
and Gene Okerland, you know, like breaking news, you know,
and like it got a lot of comments. It got
a lot of engagement, and I was curious if thunder Rosa,
like somehow would catch when and if she was going
to respond. As it stands right now, lest I check,
she didn't respond. Maybe when you give your two cents,
(01:12:00):
I'll double back just to see because I didn't check
for today. So this has a decent amount of people
you know, oh how could thunder Rosa? What's wrong with her?
And then you have others that's like, oh a w
(01:12:25):
They're just so disgusting. Do they know no bounds? Do
they know no level? And all that other stuff, and
it creates a very interesting question. I think something that
I think is worth wrestling with for a couple of
minutes is when should it be a case where we
(01:12:52):
just need to mine our own fucking business as fans
and if something does not apply to us we don't
personally care for xyz of that respected endeavor, then we
just quietly move along and just go focus on whatever
it is that we do like and all that. Because
(01:13:14):
I look at this right here, and if you want
to spend it in a way where you say to me, well, no,
there's just fans that care a great deal about thunder Rosa. Now,
I can tell you this that sounds kind of weird
what I just said, but hear me out. I remember
when thunder Rosa many years back, all she was doing
(01:13:39):
originally was posting like training videos, workout videos. She would
do these eating vlog joints. Maybe she'd get her husband
and they'd eat a little something, or she'd have a
co wrestling friend. They'd eat a little something, eat and talk,
and it was almost kind of like, what's that joint
that Jerry Seinfield used to do Comedians Getting Coffee or
(01:14:03):
whatever That show was back in the day that he did.
It was a really great series. They'd be driving around
then they go get coffee somewhere. Basically, basically, thunder Roses
was kind of doing her own version of that, but
with wrestlers, and a lot of people had appreciated that,
and for a lot of people, thunder Rosa has been
(01:14:24):
a pioneer in women's wrestling. A lot of people have
appreciated her contributions to women's wrestling.
Speaker 3 (01:14:35):
So.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
A lot of people are heartbroken that she's gone from
all that type of content to Okay, I'm going to
be on my bron panties and I'm going to be
showing this and you know, and although it's not full
blown nudity, if you wanted to say it's so off
(01:15:00):
core porn, yes, without a doubt, it's offcore porn. But
all these people, this is what I don't understand, all
these people that are in a uproar. Well, wait a
minute here, I hate to burst your bubble people, I
hate to burst your pump your bubble here. But she's
(01:15:21):
been doing this particular series since at least March of
this year, if not sooner. So I'm sorry if you're
late to the table, okay, but she's been serving that
dinner for a few months now, all right. Furthermore, I
can take it a step back. Even before that, she's
(01:15:45):
been posting softcore images for some years now, at least
a couple of years, at least three. You see her
in her lingerie and whatever little female wrestling buddy she
has come along with her, they're in their lingerie or
(01:16:07):
they're in these nice little you know, swim suits and
hitting all these nice little sexual poses. And that's something
that she has been leaning heavily to for the past
couple of years. So if it's a situation where you
really haven't been checking out thunder Rosa in a good minute,
(01:16:27):
then yeah, you're probably gonna look at it and go, WHOA,
that's like a hard one eighty for you. But to
somebody that is relatively staying connected to her throughout social
media and you're aware of all the content that she's
putting out there, it's been a then it's been a
slow progression. It's been a slow transition. So that's where
(01:16:52):
we are with this whole thunder Rosa uh situation. So
I've set it up perfectly for you because I know
you don't. You don't watch AW and the only way
you know what's going on with AW is if I
tell you what's going on in aew. So that's what's
going on with thunder Rose. Keep in mind she is
a regular host for the panel Busted Open on Sirius
(01:17:16):
XM with Dave Legreca in them, so she's getting some
type of money over there. Last I had heard, I believe,
and y'all can correct me chat if I'm wrong, But
last I had saw, unless it's changed, she was providing
Spanish commentary for some of the AW shows. Unless that's changed,
(01:17:38):
then I'm trying to think she is out on injury
right now. She revealed I think last month that she's out.
She didn't disclose what exactly is going on or the
timetable of when she's going to be back. So of
course you can definitely recognize. Look, homegirl got to do
what a homegirl got to do to bring in the bread. Okay,
(01:18:00):
so I've set that up perfectly. You as a female
wrestling fans, as a wrestling fan, as a female, have
at it, go on and interrupt it.
Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
My first question is this guy that posted about it?
Is he a subscriber of hers?
Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
That's what I'm wondering, because the image that he shares,
it's like, wait a minute. The only way you can
get that image is if you are a Patreon member yourself,
or it's a situation where somebody you know is maybe
the Patreon That's like the only way. Because you know,
(01:18:48):
when I was dibbling and dabbing and Patreon content, I
still do dip in Patreon content, but I mainly have
my Patreon set up so that anybody that just wants
to report the shows, they just want to you know, hey, Lee,
you know, I know expenses can be a little and
they want to help us out, you know from time
(01:19:09):
to time, like nobody you know saying, look, once you
give us your money for that month, you are locked
in forever. No, It's like, if you just want to
kick out a one time thing, you know, you can
set it up that way. But anybody that's interested Patreon,
dot com, forward, slash, r CWR, show, cheap plug, yeah,
(01:19:29):
and learn from the best mcfoley. But the way the
content is set up, when it's locked, you don't see
no image, none of none of that stuff. You usually
just get a default friendly image that you know. So
like let's say, for example, let's say, for example, if okay,
(01:19:54):
since I did my thing with thunder Rosa, I'll use
me as an example. Let's say I'm wearing an app
and I got on an apron and I got nothing
on and it's basically hot dogs with Lee Sanders, and
you know, I'm showing off a nice big old piece
(01:20:15):
of my thigh and that that cooking apron and everything, right,
But that is a Patreon joint that is behind a paywall.
So when I share that ur l, this is what
I need people to home in on. When I share
that ur L, you're not going to see that thumbnail
of me with the Afro apron showing my big old thigh. No, instead,
(01:20:36):
you're gonna see my default Patreon image if I set
one where maybe it's me uh and i'm I'm, I'm,
I don't know. I took a picture with my dogs.
That's the default image you're going to see. So the
only way you're gonna be like, ooh, he posted a
real scandalous pick there is if you actually were watching it,
(01:20:59):
you're subscribe, you're watching it, and you did shift you
know command, you know, screenshot that right, that's the and
this looks like as you can see, this is a
straight up oh somebody did somebody did some screenshot shit
right here. So to answer your first.
Speaker 3 (01:21:15):
Question, okay, so I guess I'm gonna wrestle with that.
First is if you have a fan's only account and
that it is behind a paywall, it's not like it's
for everybody to see. You essentially have the people there
(01:21:37):
that are paying to be there, and it almost brings
up the question of that person's rights behind that paywall
in reference to sharing that outside, because he knew by
sharing that that would really get eyes on his product.
(01:22:02):
Because let's be honest, most people are going to pay
for something behind a paywall that is interesting to them
and it's not wrestling. So basically, for lack of better phrases,
(01:22:24):
sex sels. Whether it's brown panties, whether it's showing some
other stuff, either way, sex sels. Because I can promise
you that if you had the same cooking show with
thunder Rosa and that girl had a fully clothed thing
(01:22:46):
and an apron, you probably wouldn't subscribe or to that one.
But the same scenario and girlfriend got on bron panties,
not saying it's right, saying that's the way society is,
bron panties and the the you know, the scenes that
(01:23:08):
you would see in that versus she was fully clothed.
I mean that in itself, most people are going to
come out of their pocket for the latter, especially dudes.
So number one point, she should probably have some type
(01:23:33):
of disclaimer.
Speaker 2 (01:23:34):
And probably does on her right.
Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
You know, basically, this cannot be shared, this cannot be screenshotted,
All violetters will be kicked out of my you know, paywall,
so on and so forth. That's number one. Number two,
if you're doing something so it really does it's very
(01:24:03):
borderline conflict of interest because yes, you are an independent
contractor and you you know, own the rights to your
name and likeliness. But here's the problem is when you
are in a contract with a company, they also have
(01:24:25):
a huge part in your name and likeliness and what
you put out.
Speaker 2 (01:24:33):
Let me touch on that because I wasn't going to
bring it up till much later. But that is a
perfect setup that you just gave me. From a legality
contractual standpoint, your man did do some research. Okay. Now,
aw typically signs talents like Thunder Rosa to a multi
(01:24:56):
year guaranteed contract and Rosa hers with AAW back in
twenty twenty one. Now, the payments, unless it's structured differently,
The payments are not a lump sum. Wrestlers are paid
in AAW in regular installments, bi weekly or monthly throughout
(01:25:20):
their contract term. The base salary is guaranteed regardless of
match appearances, including during injury time. Okay, So extra earnings,
pay per view bonuses, merchandise royalties, special appearances, travel allowances.
(01:25:42):
Maybe that is possibly what's affected if maybe you're out
on injury for an extended period of time or whatever.
But you could also look at that and say Hey,
as far as like bringing in some extra money, it
could come from that area with out of doubt. So
what you're touching upon is from a moral and EXCLUDI exclusive, exclusive,
(01:26:09):
exclusistivity standpoint. You guys gotta forgive me because like I
have my aligners on, it's actually time for me to
take them off, to be honest with you, But I'll
probably pop them out in a little bit anyway. So
contracts are you know, they often include morals clauses or
public image clauses prohibiting conduct that could bring the company
(01:26:34):
into disrepute or harm brand reputation. Okay, Exclusitivity and approval
clauses may require companies sign off for certain outside ventures,
especially adult learning content. Now, Aw's enforcement is generally looser
(01:27:00):
in wwees as long as no ae WIP is used
without permission, content is not pornographic, no sponsor or network
objections arise. So if you want to talk about, okay, well,
(01:27:22):
is thunder rosa safe?
Speaker 4 (01:27:25):
Well, I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:27:29):
Yeah for all intents and purposes, because I mean there's
no credible reports or internal leaks that suggests AW has
an issue with her Patreon series. Contrary to what this
Twitter user is putting out there, and he really should
have put in their personal opinion or opinion.
Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
Some form of dis climber would say, here's the thing
is he could without I mean, basically what he wanted
he got. He got. Oh and that's what you wanted.
Speaker 2 (01:28:00):
Click beta, bullshit, click beta. That's finest.
Speaker 3 (01:28:02):
Yeah, and without you know, if he had to put
that disclaimer there, then essentially he might not have gotten
as many clicks because of that disclaimer. But now, if anything,
(01:28:25):
she may have gotten a nice little tap on the
wrist kind of like, yeah, I don't do that again.
But that's neither. That's not something we know about. That's
probably not something we'll ever know about.
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
But I.
Speaker 3 (01:28:43):
Don't see that being a huge deal.
Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
No, especially from the standpoint of aw they allow other
females like sky Blue, sky Blue, who oh my god,
shout out to Julian. Every time I hear Julian bring
this up. I always us a hearty gut. Julian still
brings up to this day. It's very rare, but I
lose by shit when he brings it up. So he's
(01:29:09):
told me how and others how he went to cover
some event and he met sky Blue. It was some
wrestling event and he met sky Blue and he was
telling me how there was a bunch of horny ass
like old dudes that were like late forties to like
(01:29:30):
almost early sixties that were in sky Blue's line. Yeah,
and sky Blue at the time was like twenty two,
and they were like all these old fucks in line,
and I'm just like and I said to Julia. I
said to Julia, I said, dude, maybe somebody just really
(01:29:52):
is a fan of her work.
Speaker 3 (01:29:55):
And he was like, Lee, thing is I can see
the facial expression on Julian's face.
Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
He was like like he's like Lee, He's like, come
old dog, Yeah, be real. He's like, He's like, your
ass ain't standing in line for no sky Blue. He's like,
come on, you know better. I said, yeah, I know better.
I was like, if I see her in Passion, I'll
probably say, hey, fan of your work, appreciate you, you know.
I was like, but yeah, I'm not gonna be waiting
(01:30:26):
in line to know, like, I'd rather go get my
money to Juiccale Okada or you know somebody, you know,
trist Stratus or.
Speaker 3 (01:30:34):
Oh yeah, no, you know now for Lee that he
would wait in line for Trist Tress.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
Hey, I'm gonna do it to John Amos for Tris.
So for those of you that though, there's a classic
episode of Good Times where John Amos there's some there's
some woman that like comes by and every time this
woman comes by to visit or whatever, it wasn't Wanona,
(01:31:01):
it wasn't her. It's like it was some episode where
John am was he kept like sucking his gut in
and pulling up yeah some.
Speaker 3 (01:31:09):
Oh no, no, so the lady came in. It was
actually a lady that was posing for JJ, ANDJJ.
Speaker 2 (01:31:16):
Is yeah, yeah, so and she was very very pretty. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
And it's actually one of my more favorite episodes, especially
with the watch when he's in if if I'm lying,
let this watch stop right now, and sure enough it did.
But anyway, and yes, basically, you know, whenever he would
(01:31:44):
say something with a straight face, it would end with
a you know, yeah, you full of shit. Good episode.
Speaker 2 (01:31:55):
But yes, that was a good episode. But yes, sky Blue,
she's a talent that has public modeling and definitely some
suggestive stuff that's going on there, but she has not
faced any repercussions whatsoever, So definitely you can make an
argument that AW allows personal monetization projects that don't cross
(01:32:18):
into explicit territory or conflict with you know, corporate partnerships,
you know, sponsors and all that. So unless the content
turns explicit uses aw branding without approval or trigger sponsored
network backlash, not to about a ten aw ain't gonna
do anything.
Speaker 3 (01:32:38):
But if people no offense, But if participants or Patreon
members don't try to get over on somebody by saying
that this is scandalous or whatever have you, and basically
just enjoy the show, ain't gonna be no broubum, right,
(01:33:00):
you know. I mean, however, people make their money as
long as it's not you know, you know, basically committing
a crime. What's the problem. Apparently there's plenty other dudes
people and enjoying her.
Speaker 2 (01:33:16):
Stuff, he said, enjoying her stuff. Come to butt head Bavils.
Your balls are dirty, go awesome? Oh shit? So yeah yeah,
(01:33:44):
thunder Rosa like, okay, in my book, you know, look
and look, I respect my friends, my brothers and sisters
as in the podcasting world, and I get where they're
coming from, you know, because a lot of them are
long time thunder rolls a answer and they're like, this
is so sad to see her, you know, and she
is like the Faith for Women's Wrestling, and she's stooped
(01:34:07):
into these levels like this is beneath her? Why is she?
And a lot of people feel like, yo, this was
a case where she would have gone to WWE and
a timely matter, nine times out of ten she would
not be doing that type of stuff. And I can't
help but say, yeah, you know, I agree, but look,
I'm like this as long as you're not harming anybody,
(01:34:32):
and you know it don't involve no cocaine and you
know whatever, like God bless you do what you gotta do.
And she is keeping in mind the way that she's operating.
You know, she does have a kid, so you know, look,
you know, everybody could talk a good game until they're
in that position where yo, oh my god, I got
(01:34:56):
a kid and I gotta pay bills. What am I
going to do? Because I I'm not trying to go
rob a bank. I'm not trying to sell drugs, so
you know, I ain't trying to get into no illegal trafficking.
So what am I going to do for money? Like
legit money? What am I going to do? And it's
all about having your thumb on that post and following
those respected trends, and you.
Speaker 3 (01:35:18):
Know that trend is very hot right now.
Speaker 2 (01:35:20):
Right, Trust me, I have seen my fair look. I'll
say this and then we'll move on. I have seen
my fair share of females over the years that have
tried to talk about wrestling because they feel that, Hey,
I'm a wrestling fan, just like some of my male counterparts.
(01:35:43):
But I feel that I have a really good voice,
a really good perspective. I have a lot that I
could break to the table. And man, it's so sad.
They're only getting, you know, fifteen views of video and
you know, and they know they're making really good points
and all that other ship and next thing, you know,
(01:36:05):
they see whatever on TikTok or twitch or whatever. Oh man,
she's got her tits, so you know, way out there,
and well, it's been a long time since I had
my favorite drink. I lick my lips. I think about
(01:36:25):
the taste.
Speaker 5 (01:36:29):
Baby, it's just the taste that drives me insane, the bits,
because all I want to do is stick my face
him between your.
Speaker 2 (01:36:50):
At least, I says.
Speaker 3 (01:36:54):
People will subscribe versus not subscribe. When she's in an
apron and fully dressed exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
You know, she's seeing these twitch videos and she's like,
oh so that's what sells. And the next thing, you know,
she's like, oh well, let me put some makeup on,
let me put some roller curlers on, you know, let
me put up a push up braw and you know,
plat out dinner for four. And you know, the next thing,
you know, she's ranking in she's ranking in the money.
(01:37:26):
You know, she's raking in the money. But like, LEGITIFU legit, guys,
I have seen female I want you any names, but
I have seen female you know chicks. YouTube personality, social
media personalities that we're talking wrestling. The views wasn't it
wasn't working. They were being too wordy or whatever, and
(01:37:50):
they just decided, oh my god, that was cool? Was
it it? And they're bouncing their little tits, their big
tits up and down.
Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
Oh uh.
Speaker 2 (01:38:00):
Jeremy likes water splashes.
Speaker 3 (01:38:03):
Thank you for your super chat, you know.
Speaker 6 (01:38:06):
And he makes us sound like such as not.
Speaker 2 (01:38:18):
Hashtag cancel whet breaking news. Lee said that all women
are dumbasses hashtag cancel seconds. That's not sick.
Speaker 3 (01:38:33):
It's not all of you it's not all of you.
Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
All of you, all of you, and some.
Speaker 3 (01:38:40):
Of you will oh oh yuh helping me right back
after this segment after eating.
Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
His foot out of his mouth.
Speaker 3 (01:38:53):
Ah, so.
Speaker 2 (01:38:59):
Other news news and other news. Let's talk, let's talk
Joey Ryan. Yeah, Joey Ryan is back in the news,
and not in a good way. Apparently Joey Ryan tried
to make another comeback.
Speaker 3 (01:39:22):
No fun intended. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:39:24):
So, for those of you that don't know about Joey Ryan,
back in the day, Joey Ryan was this insane wrestler.
He had a vintage kind of throwback homage looked to
him because he reminded me of the wrestler, just a
miniature version. And I tried telling him this the one
time that I interviewed him. More on that later. Okay,
(01:39:48):
it was a long long time ago, way before all
the stupid shit happened. But I told him during an interview,
I said, yeah, you remind me a lot of the
magnum Ta character. Well, what came out of my mouth
was magnum pi. Right, But now that I was thinking
about it, because some people try to correct me, right,
some people try to correct me on that, and it
was like, oh, well, I just kind of stumbled upon that.
(01:40:11):
Actually no, not that I'm thinking about it here. Reminds
me of magnum ta and magnum pi. So there you go.
And I started running with that ever since because it
was legit. So he would have this gimmick where basically
his penis was his superpower, and like he would take
your hand at some point during the match, he'd put
(01:40:32):
your hand on his crotch and then he would just
with his hands out in the air, he'd go whoa,
and he basically would flip you over with his dick.
Speaker 1 (01:40:45):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:40:46):
I think he would call the move penis flip or
you know, penis power, whatever the hell he was calling it.
So if this dude got canceled many many years back,
because there were a lot of women that had came
forward and they basically were saying, yo, I was sexually
(01:41:07):
assaulted by this dude. And I know he was doing
meet and greets back in the day where for X
amount of money and women only you could touch his dick.
One of those went wrong because it turns out one
of the girls was legit a girl, she was underaged,
and it was like whoa, And so as a result,
(01:41:31):
of that, they started doing ID checks for meeting greets,
making sure that yeah, it's just understand something people. And
I'm not proud to be part of this moment in
media history when because it probably sounds stupid as fuck
now that you guys are hearing this, but believe it
(01:41:53):
or not, this is what was really popular back in
the day. I mean, this guy before Orange Cassidy, Joy
Ryan and Tams can attest to this. Joey Ryan was
the Orange Cassidy back in his respected day. I mean,
he was just you know, everybody wants you, and that
(01:42:13):
was the case with him. So, you know, all this
stuff that had went down with the allegations, you know,
I mean, he got canceled quick. I still remember the
awkward and it's probably saved on my desktop somewhere, but
I remember he did this hour long video and we
(01:42:37):
talked about it here on the show. He did this
hour long video where he was trying to address these allegations,
and I promise you, I promise you. Dude set himself
on fire the longer he kept talking because the very
first thing that comes out of his mouth in the
first five minutes, my lawyer had advised me my lawyer
(01:43:02):
advised me I should not Well, yeah, domb Ask, you
probably should listen to your lawyer then, and then from
there he just proceeds to put his foot in his mouth.
It was just and somebody likely has it, but they
probably won't share it because they're not trying to get
into any type of legal trouble with Ryan and everything.
(01:43:25):
But it was the most cringe worthiest thing that I
remember ever coming across, and it just made me go,
I can't believe I interviewed this guy. And again, I
interviewed this guy. I think at the time that I
interviewed him, I believe I interviewed him, wasn't around TNA
gut check time, or maybe right after he had got
(01:43:47):
a TNA contract.
Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
I think you had been on the air or you've
been doing the show for probably three years.
Speaker 2 (01:43:55):
You know how You've been hearing a lot of people say,
man that Joy Ryan is an asshole, and they've talked
about some of the encounters that they've had with him.
Stevie Richards told a really great story about his interactions
with him. Go go check that out.
Speaker 3 (01:44:12):
Look.
Speaker 2 (01:44:13):
I might have not met Joy Ryan, but the one
time that I had him on the show, and you know,
we've interviewed many people over the years. We haven't done
anything in the past couple of years, mainly because of
my college schedule and everything. But when things start freeing
up again, I'm definitely looking to get back on the
(01:44:33):
saddle again. For sure. For sure we're gonna update that resume.
But I could tell you in all the years that
I've interviewed people Joey Ryan behind the scenes, oh my god,
it was like night and day. It was like night
(01:44:54):
and day. The guy I was talking to behind the
scenes before the interview very quiet. You had to literally
pull conversation out of him. You know, he seems very
(01:45:17):
to me at that time, he seemed very they're shy,
and then there's okay, what's going on here? What you know?
And to know what I know now, it really makes
me wonder, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, But he's
(01:45:40):
giving me creep vibes back then. He's giving me creep
vibes back then. You know, he was don't get me
wrong with folks, he was respectful in our conversations behind
the scenes, but there was this weird aura that was
about him that he was giving me bad vibes. And
I just remember at that point, it was like, let
(01:46:01):
me just hurry up, get this interview out the way,
because I just I just want to be done. And
I think we ended up talking to him for like
maybe twenty five minutes or some shit like that. And
you know, like because the plan was to talk to
him for like about forty five minutes to an hour,
but like the vibes she was giving me, it was like, Okay,
well we're already here. Let me just do the damn thing.
I'll be done with it and then' that'll be the
(01:46:22):
end of that, right, So cancel culture got to Joey
Ryan and you know, yeah, there is a thing called
innocent until proving guilty in a court of law. Totally
agree with that. But man, all these people that, you know,
were these women that were saying what they were saying.
Now from a legality standpoint, basically, the uh, the accusers,
(01:46:51):
they didn't show up to court. I guess they feared
whatever and they didn't show up. So nothing happened to
Joy Ryan. So Joy Ryan decided, you know, hey, I'm
gonna get back out there in the wrestling world, and
they canceled his ass right there on the spot. Once
they found out. I think this is now his It's
(01:47:12):
almost like he's a groundhog. It's almost like he tries
popping up every two years. It's like, nah, nigga, we
still remember your ass. And he disappears for another two years,
and then he tries again. This guy, if I'm not mistaken, Chad,
I think he's forty five years old. Forty five years old.
He tried to make another comeback, so he tried hooking
(01:47:33):
up with the Portland Wrestling Reborn promotion on August twenty third,
and the am.
Speaker 3 (01:47:41):
I befitting sense of co Apparently this time he thinks
he found Jesus.
Speaker 2 (01:47:45):
Yes, apparently apparently he found Jesus. You know, why is
it motherfuckers every time I turn around when they do
something wrong, you know, like even Al Green. You know
it's not it's not the hot grits. It's not the
hot grits to your back.
Speaker 3 (01:48:08):
Nah.
Speaker 2 (01:48:08):
You know that that should make you because you know
it could have been hot grits when you dick, No, no, no,
no no. That that's you know, that's not gonna be
enough to make you, you know, go and and and
see the light. And now everybody always got to go
to Jesus. Whenever the ship don't hit the fan, Jesus.
You know, I'm reminded of Steve Martin as the Reverend,
(01:48:32):
that fake reverend. What was the name of that movie
That's gonna bother me?
Speaker 1 (01:48:37):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:48:37):
I love that movie. No, Steve, Steve Martin, he played
a con artist reverend. Damn, that's gonna bother me now. Anyway,
every time I turn around, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Oh my god, Jesus.
I found Jesus. I went to Mecca. I found Jesus.
(01:48:57):
It's like, y'all be fine, and Jesus in the weirdest
places at the most convenient motherfucking time. I'll tell you what. Seriously, anyway,
this nigga talking about something he found Jesus. He's on
the redemption path and you know, yo, whatever, I just
want to wrestle for the Lord, you know, trying to wrestle,
(01:49:18):
trying to wrestle for Portland Wrestling reborn on August twenty second,
and the owner for the promotion was catching heat left
and right, and he's defending his position and you know, oh,
everybody deserves another chance. Well, social media really got the
best of this dude. He wanted to smoke. He thought
(01:49:38):
he could handle the smoke. He caved to the smoke,
and he basically was like, yeah, well we went on ahead.
We canceled Joey Ryan's flight and we've pulled him from
the event entirely. Meanwhile, Prestige Wrestling they quickly organized a
rival Safe Space show dubbed f j R, scheduled the
(01:50:03):
same night in Portland, where all proceeds will be going
to Charity for Soul for anybody that is interested in that.
So it really brings about an interesting question right now,
which is in regards to Joy Ryan, it is something
(01:50:30):
to wrestle with of a situation here is it? Is it?
Is it ever time for people to move on? Is
it a case where you know, innocent so proven guilty,
but the accusers didn't show.
Speaker 4 (01:50:49):
Up, Like.
Speaker 2 (01:50:52):
You understand what you understand what I'm where I'm getting
at here, right because like if you're asking me straight up, Lee,
what say you? I'm I'm telling you straight up, make
no mistake about it. I'm telling y'all asked you straight up.
I think that motherfucker is guilty. I every single time
he has had an opportunity to speak, he has just
(01:51:15):
dug himself deeper and deeper into a hole. That makes
me go, I can't trust a damn thing you're saying.
You come off more like you are still a part
of the problem and you're not trying to be a
part of the solution. As far as lacking accountability and
(01:51:37):
all that goes like, yeah, I'm not No, seems like
it's a coming from a place that's not of sincerity.
So for me, I'm not seeing enough.
Speaker 3 (01:51:51):
Well. In reference to what I've heard on and off
throughout the years, and reference to Joey Ryan, I can't
speak to his guilt or innocence, but what I can
say is when you keep hearing the same story over
and over and over again a reference to throughout the years,
(01:52:16):
there's probably something to it. And when you literally work
with other dudes, work with women, because there is a
women's section of any wrestling promotion, it's almost like the
(01:52:39):
best reference I can give it is literally taking a
recovering crackhead to a crack house. Yeah, you put them
in the situation in the Senate. Are they're going to
(01:53:00):
go back to it?
Speaker 2 (01:53:03):
Yeah? You know, he tried to get a job at
Disney the first rodeo he was probably working at Disneyland
for a small world. After all, he was working at Disneyland.
I don't even think barely three months and the wrestling
community was like, wait, you hired this nigga, So.
Speaker 3 (01:53:26):
Now it's not just an abuse where he's a pedophile too.
Speaker 2 (01:53:30):
No, they got him fired good, they got him fired good.
Oh yeah, yeah, just just crazy. I weighed in on
the WWE ESPN deal. How much do you know? And
not much you don't know. So it's a one point
(01:53:52):
six billion dollar deal for five years.
Speaker 3 (01:53:56):
Mm hmm uh.
Speaker 2 (01:53:58):
And I told you this earlier in the week. It
was a clusterfuck from a PR standpoint because the initial
report that was put out there, and it was by TKO,
and the main selling point was, oh, thirty dollars a month,
(01:54:19):
and you're like, whoa, So.
Speaker 3 (01:54:21):
We're social playing twelve to thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:54:24):
Yeah, and it was like whoa, And so myself, you know,
many other reputable podcasters, you know, we're literally just the
press release. I mean, we've done this so much over
the years. My black ass alone, I've done like okay,
it's directly from the horse's mouth, Okay, like this is good.
(01:54:46):
Whoever was in charge of putting that press release together,
they just boy did they fumble that big time, because
what they really should have been covering at the top
was you know, hey, look not from but if you
have this, this, this, this is going on, you know
it's either going to be free or you're only going
(01:55:06):
to need to add it on for maybe the small
little additional cost of money. And just within forty eight hours,
information just changed drastically. Information just changed drastically. So now
we have the definitive Okay, here's where everything stands with
(01:55:28):
the WWE ESPN situation and all that and basically, in
a nutshell, give me a second here, because I actually
got all the info for you guys. That way, if
it's a case where you're not with one of these
respective providers, you can get with a provider that will
(01:55:53):
hook you up in everything. So look, ESPN's new streaming service,
which is going to be launching August twenty first break
this down for you, simple, very simple. They've got an
unlimited plan that includes all ESPN linear channels, digital content,
WWE upcoming live events poles starting in twenty twenty six.
(01:56:15):
So going to ESPN all the pls including WrestleMania twenty
twenty six. Everything starts pretty much March at twenty twenty six,
twenty nine to ninety nine a month or two hundred
ninety nine dollars ninety nine cents a year. There's also
a introductory bundle offering Disney and Hulu Plus included for
(01:56:38):
the first year at the unlimited price, and then you
have a Select plan essentially the current ESPN Plus tier
eleven ninety nine a month that will be covering archived
ESPN Plus content but not including wwepl's, so make sure
(01:57:01):
you make make sure you'll home in on that now.
As far as access for PayTV subscribers, if you already
get ESPN through providers such as Direct TV, Hulu Live, Charter,
fubou TV, or of Verizon Files, you'll get authenticated access
to the new ESPN streaming service at no additional costs.
(01:57:23):
Those of you all that's left out in the code,
like my ass YouTube TV Infinity subscribers, let me continue
before you jump in on there. So what does this
mean for the rest of the year? All right, So
in order to continue to enjoy yourself and all that
with you WWE content, all that good stuff. So you
(01:57:46):
already know about Peacock, which is until the end of
the year current home a WWE Premium live events and
the library content pricing ads of twenty twenty five Premium
ten ninety nine a month, Premium plus at free seen
ninety nine a month, NBCU Selectier that's at seven ninety
nine a month and is being trout, but it doesn't
(01:58:08):
include live sports like WWE program And then add on
top of that what you're doing in twenty twenty five
currently for your Netflix, which is the exclusive home for
Monday Night Raw, you're looking at nine ninety nine to
twenty dollars a month for Netflix, depending on the plan. Okay,
(01:58:30):
now when you break all of that down, you break
all of that down. If you're like me and you're
going to wait a minute, if I need to kind
of jump ship and hook up with somebody that is
going to give me my wwepoees. In twenty twenty six
through authentication, Hulu plus Live TV TAMS eighty two dollars
(01:58:55):
ninety nine cents a month. That's Hulu with ads and
live TV. Meanwhile, yeah, meanwhile, Fubu Pro, you're looking at
eighty four dollars a month Direct TV via Internet. That's
eighty four dollars a month, and that's just for the
base plan. Verizon files one hundred nineteen to one hundred
(01:59:19):
and thirty nine dollars a month. Spectrum, Charter TV Select signature,
you're looking at one hundred dollars a month. Could be
regularly one hundred and twenty dollars. Really depends on the market.
And again, YouTube TV, Comcast, Infinity, Dish, laying Cox. It
(01:59:40):
looks like right now those guys are not part of
that WWE ESPN joint for twenty twenty six. So that's
that's where everything is.
Speaker 3 (01:59:52):
Wow. So I don't remember exactly what show, but we
did a wrestling with the topics within the last but
then the last year talking about the future of cable,
and I think, if I'm not mistaken, me and or
(02:00:15):
Lee basically said a lot of your future shows are
going to go behind a paywall. Well, it sounds like
we're here, so I know that they are. With doing
(02:00:41):
the nine ninety nine a month, even for as many
subscribers as you have, at nine ninety nine a month,
you're still losing money because you know, people like myself
and Lee and even you know up to you know,
the two thousands. Remember, those pay per views alone were
(02:01:05):
somewhere between forty to eighty dollars per pay per view,
and it seems to me like they're going back to
that in reference to Okay, basically, we'll give you the
pay per view and you can pay the thirty dollars
(02:01:25):
for it per month, with the rest of the mess
being free. Thirty dollars a month is pretty steep for
one streaming platform, yeah, in my personal opinion. And then
(02:01:47):
you also then to watch We're All, You've got to
have a Netflix subscription, so there's another fifteen to twenty bucks.
So now that thirty dollars turns into more like fifty
to fifty five depending on your plan with Netflix for
(02:02:10):
one promotion.
Speaker 2 (02:02:13):
That's deep, especially if, depending on your provider, you don't
get ane and you're trying to watch those new episodes
of Biography, Legends, Wanted Treasures, whatever other show at LEFG,
whatever else they got going on. Yeah, then it keeps
(02:02:35):
going up.
Speaker 3 (02:02:35):
Then it keeps going up.
Speaker 2 (02:02:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:02:37):
So not only are you paying your cable provider, just
say you still have FiOS or now, obviously some of
that is encompassed if you have files or DirectTV, but
say you don't, You're still going to have to have
a provider that gives you the access to those things
(02:02:59):
like Hulu like a you know, fooboo or what have you.
So then there's that we shall see. But they're they're
one would would almost say that they're trying to price
(02:03:20):
themselves right out of the entertainment. But I don't think
we're anywhere close to that right now because WW is
still pretty wide hot. So they're going to command that
and they're going to get it. They're gonna get it.
They may not get as much. Now, is there an
(02:03:43):
option for paying for the pay per views separately.
Speaker 2 (02:03:49):
With the new s ESPN paying for the pay per
views separately, like through ESPN.
Speaker 3 (02:03:55):
Right, like doing a base monthly thing and then oh well,
if I want to see this pay per view this month,
can can it be done in a separate cost or
basically they just have to up their monthly pay in
to that thirty dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:04:12):
I'm not gonna lie to you because it was such
a clusterfuck. I do not know. Okay, I do not know,
but the way this kind of comes off, But the
way this kind of comes off right now is either
you already have the stuff that's already in place, so
you can be grand foddered in at no additional costs,
(02:04:35):
or you're gonna have to pay essentially the thirty dollars.
Myself and many others, we're now like going, you know what.
Speaker 3 (02:04:47):
VPN yeah, and if you can and if you can
get it yeah, because eventually I have a feeling that
some of these people are going to be stopping that
because of the money that they're losing.
Speaker 2 (02:05:01):
You know, watch watch wrestling streams dot org. I mean,
all of them joints they about to they about to booms,
about to be booming again. This is about to be
booming again. I'm telling you that right now, this is
about to be booming again for them. Let's see, I
got some sad news. Let's kind of switch it up
a little bit, talk a little entertainment. I got some
(02:05:24):
sad news to report, uh to you guys. Bruce Willis
for those who view that grew up on the man
and everything, it's not looking good for him. As it's possible,
(02:05:46):
I don't know, it could be maybe three more years.
Five is really really pushing it. So let me kind
of get you guys caught up to speed in case
you all are not not aware recent public health updates
on Bruce Willis. Of course, he was diagnosed a couple
of years back with front frontal temporal dementia. Uh, the
(02:06:12):
family's role in care, including support from ex wife Demi
Moore and current wife Emma Heming Willis, the public appearances
and rare social media updates. Uh, you've seen some of
those that's been happening.
Speaker 3 (02:06:31):
Yeah, because just in what you know, kind of tiging
on what Lee is saying. They were all over the
price a year ago, like on my social media feed
on a weekly to every other day basis on you know,
him out and about him having a you know, birthday
(02:06:52):
celebration or family gathering or something like that. And now
it's just like radio silent.
Speaker 2 (02:07:00):
Yeah, from all the stuff that's being put out there
right now, it would appear that besides no longer able
to talk, now there's reports that he is immobile, so
you know, they now have to physically move him around.
(02:07:23):
I believe I read that he needs assistance with eating,
and you know, this form of dementia, it's so bad.
He is now suffering. What happened with veteran actor Peter
Falk Colombo towards the end of his respected life, where
Peter Falk didn't remember ever being an actor, didn't even
(02:07:49):
remember that he played Colombo for so many years. Bruce
Willis does not ever recall being an actor. So that
is currently what's going on with the former die hard
pulp fiction sixth Sense actor. Quite sad, quite sad, what's
(02:08:09):
going on? And from what I had research, they basically
said that at this point, with how aggressive this particular
form of dementia has been for him, you know, it's
a case where six years is really really pushing it,
but it's somewhere between three to four years, five is
(02:08:32):
being very nice. Yeah, I was reading up on I
was reading up on how it gets to a point
where as a family, the difficult decision has to be made. Okay,
when does it start being about keeping this person alive
(02:08:54):
no matter what? And at the same time, we're kind
of being selfish because we can't let this person go
to Okay, well, let's make this final little bit of
the time that this person has left the most comfortable
as possible. And that's pretty much when you go in
the hospice mode. Because apparently just the stuff that I
learned about when the feeding tube is brought in because
(02:09:16):
like if they if they once they lose that reflex
to oh, foods in.
Speaker 3 (02:09:21):
My mouth, Yeah, I don't remember how to eat.
Speaker 2 (02:09:24):
Once that goes, they didn't have to eat or put
a tube down their throat or they are surgically in oh.
Speaker 3 (02:09:35):
So basically in reference to you know, obviously we certainly
don't know what his wishes were as far as in
that in that timeframe. But with dementia in any form,
generally the effects are the same. It might be a
(02:09:56):
little bit a couple of tweaks here and there, but
you know, eventually it it really is all about loss
and you you know, day by day, week by week,
the memory and what you were continues to diminish. It's
actually quite sad. But once you lose the ability and
(02:10:20):
to remember how to eat, it's not long, you know, obviously,
you know, there are supplements that can happen, you know,
like lie said, doing a feeding tube, either through the
stomach or you know, through the mouth, not mouth, but
(02:10:40):
through the nose, but generally it's through the stomach. So
there's that, But guys not pulling any punches. After a while,
they also forget how the body actually forgets how to
do the daily functions. And this isn't just eating, this
(02:11:04):
is breathing, this is this is everything. So I agree
with Lee. I actually I would be shocked if it
was another three years. I'd say two.
Speaker 2 (02:11:19):
Mmm. It's a sad way to go out, it is,
you know, for any for anybody, but definitely for somebody
that's been a an eighties pop icon figure, blockbuster figure
like he. That's a sad way to go out, it is.
Speaker 3 (02:11:42):
And it's really hard for the family guys, because to
watch that daily progression and know what's happening and you
can't do a thing about it, nothing to stop it.
All you have to do is you're really just a
spectator and a care ticker.
Speaker 2 (02:12:02):
Definitely wish him and that family the very best. Definitely,
if there's a family you all should be sending some
prayers to, and you know, the Bruce Willis name resonates
with you and your family, Definitely say a prayer for them,
because that's pretty rough what they're going through.
Speaker 3 (02:12:21):
Man.
Speaker 2 (02:12:23):
On a little bit on a lighter note, entertainment news wise,
Fantastic four seems that they have passed the four hundred
and thirty million dollars take in worldwide. Looks like they're
now iying to end their box office run somewhere between
(02:12:46):
four hundred and ninety million to five hundred and ten million,
So they have pretty much broken even all things considered,
and then some because their budget was two one hundred
plus million dollars.
Speaker 3 (02:13:05):
Yeah, surpassed it by over half. Right, so not not
not a flop, but oh no, I wouldn't call that
a fly, not a flow.
Speaker 2 (02:13:16):
It definitely warrants a sequel. Yeah, it definitely warrants a sequel.
Speaker 3 (02:13:21):
I could see a sequel from that. I actually enjoyed it. Yeah,
I thought it was really well put together, and I
could certainly see a sequel for sure.
Speaker 2 (02:13:36):
Yeah, I could see it happening too. I can definitely.
I love the movie, I thought, I mean, if you
want to break down who had the better script and
who was tapping into the better source material Fantastic four.
But there were many points in the movie where I
will admit, Okay, the pacing, you know, is too wordy,
(02:14:00):
little slow, But you know what that's that's literally anybody
that ever picked up a Fantastic for a comic book
as a kid, that's literally how it was. That's literally
how it was back in the day, So I thought
they captured it good. But as far as who had
more action, Oh, Superman, Oh yeah, Superman. Now, Superman was
a little bit of a clusterfuck, but it was a
(02:14:23):
fun clusterfuck. True, it was definitely a fun clusterfuck. Speaking
of Superman, forty five days after its theatrical release, it
is getting a digital release on August twenty sixth. Oh wow, yeah,
very very quick, very quick. So you guys might want
to hit the Amazon and a couple of other outlets
(02:14:43):
and get the hook up in there already. Let's talk
as we get ready to wind down, let's talk DC
for a little bit. Let's talk about Monday. It's gonna
be a big day here in the nation's capital, Washington,
(02:15:04):
d C. President Trump is going to be given an
announcement where he essentially is probably most likely going to
declare that Washington, d C. It's so riddled with crime
and infested crime and disgusting crime and shit ton of
(02:15:28):
crime that he's got to activate the National Guard. And
his legal team is currently looking into what legal loopholes
that is available to them so they can overtake the
DC Council. So DC Metropolitan Police. Their data is showing
(02:15:51):
that crime has gone down by twenty six percent compared
to previous years. You know, we've heard from a decent
amount of DC residents, some friends, some colleagues, strangers. That's like, yo,
no different than any other city, what the hell. Meanwhile,
(02:16:16):
you talk to those that are mourning the loss. I
think about that one granddad that lost his three year
old granddaughter to gun violence some weeks back. He welcomes
this change because his whole thing is, Look, if they
really don't have the resources, the police, that is, if
they really don't have the resources to be everywhere and
(02:16:39):
have a mainstay of a presence, if it's a resource
issue and everything, then you know, maybe it's good that
we're gonna start having a National Guard be So you've
had some time to marinate on it, because you really
kind of got the skinny overnight because we both saw
(02:17:00):
the same news report and everything. So now it's the
day after, it's your thoughts.
Speaker 3 (02:17:15):
You know. The funny thing is is, as you were
talking about this scenario, I was starting to think back.
I mean not that I've watched the news like that
a lot in the last couple of months, but when
I do. I don't hear as much as I used
to about DC in reference to crime, so it's kind
(02:17:41):
of hmmm. Well for me, I'm trying to keep personal
opinion to myself. I do find it very odd that
(02:18:01):
the mayor has not said anything.
Speaker 2 (02:18:03):
Well, hold that thought thought, I knew I knew you
were going to go there.
Speaker 3 (02:18:08):
At the last I heard, she had not.
Speaker 2 (02:18:09):
We knew you were going to go there. I'm prepared
for you, DC Mayor, and shout out to market. C
Graves of NBC Washington for DC mayor. Brow Mayor Bowser
expresses concerns that Donald Trump could activate National Guard. They're
not law enforcement. This is a direct quote. They're not
(02:18:30):
law enforcement. It's not efficient use the presence being proactive
in communities that can feel harassed and attacked. Officials have
to act in a constitutional way.
Speaker 3 (02:18:49):
I agree with her point because one could feel like
they're under my scope versus being helped. And I do
(02:19:10):
believe that there might need to be some additional law enforcement.
But you still can't be everywhere all the time, even
if you do have the National Guard there, you still
can't be everywhere at all times. And to be honest
(02:19:36):
with you, although some of the ideas seem interesting enough,
but is it really going to be carried out in
the right way? Number one? Number two, I'm sorry, I
really think that this is an overreaction because of who
(02:20:00):
who got attacked. I don't think you would have the
amount of coverage and talk if it was just an
ordinary Joe.
Speaker 2 (02:20:17):
Well, you know me, guys, I'm a stats kind of guy.
So I'm looking at the numbers, and I'm looking at
particularly DC crime over the last five years. Now, in
twenty twenty, we had one hundred and ninety eight homicides,
(02:20:42):
which pretty much is a baseline pre spike level. Right
In twenty twenty one, homicides went up to two hundred
and twenty six, so obviously that's a continued elevation. Twenty
twenty two we had two hundred and three side So
if you want to look at that and say, okay,
(02:21:02):
kind of stabilized but still not quite good. Twenty twenty three, whoa,
we really hit it out of the park, as MOFOS
was just dying left and right. Two hundred and seventy
four homicides in twenty twenty four, we had somewhere between
one hundred and eighty seven to one hundred and ninety homicides.
(02:21:23):
So break that down, you're looking at about a thirty
five cent a thirty five percent drop from twenty twenty three,
and in twenty twenty five we've had ninety nine homicides,
so that is a minus twelve percent, and overall you're
looking at twenty two to twenty six percent down from
(02:21:46):
the previous year in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (02:21:50):
So and the interesting part about that is in the
stats that you're just reading, we were in the midst
of COVID that time between twenty twenty and twenty twenty three,
So damn number one and number two. From twenty twenty
(02:22:11):
four two three to twenty twenty four, that's it was
like almost half right, So what the hell?
Speaker 2 (02:22:23):
Right now, I'm looking at the preliminary twenty twenty five
crime data from the DC Police change versus twenty twenty four,
I'm seeing violent crime total. Yeah, I see, they're down
twenty six percent. Homicides that's down twelve percent mentioned earlier,
going from one to twelve to ninety nine. Sexual abuse
(02:22:46):
is down by forty nine percent, assault with dangerous weapons
twenty percent, robbery is down twenty eight percent, burglary is
down nineteen percent. Property crime that's down four percent. All
crime combined is down by seven percent. So I mean,
the bottom line, it's shapened up to be a great
(02:23:08):
year of improvement in DC from violent an property crimes,
including homicides, which is down significantly, but you wouldn't know
that based on what is being put out there. And
despite the fact that there's a decent amount of juvenile
(02:23:29):
assaults in arrests that's you know, usually tied to carjacking
and all that, many of those crimes are also on
the down as well. So it's very interesting to just
hear this data. And speaking of carjackings, carjackings fell by
(02:23:50):
nearly fifty percent in twenty twenty four. Violent crime in
total decrease thirty five percent from twenty twenty three to
two thousand and twenty four. In twenty twenty four alone,
that marked the lowest level of violent crime in DC
in over thirty years, with major reductions and homicide, robberies,
(02:24:11):
assaults with weapons, and armed car jacking.
Speaker 3 (02:24:14):
So I mean, okay, so stats guy, okay, go for
the same year, not the same five years, but the
same year for Maryland and.
Speaker 2 (02:24:25):
Virginia compared to Maryland and Virginia.
Speaker 3 (02:24:30):
Okay, well, just because I'm curious in reference to you
have the DMV.
Speaker 2 (02:24:38):
SO Maryland, Maryland has so this is a violent crime
rape per one hundred thousand residents, So Maryland three hundred
and ninety eight point five violent crimes that includes homicide, rape, robbery, assault,
Virginia statewide three hundred and seventy f five violent crimes DC.
(02:25:06):
See that violent crime dropped thirty five percent from twenty
twenty three, lowest and over thirty years. Right, Baltimore and
Maryland lawyers the city, as we all know, in twenty
twenty four, they were at two hundred and one homicides,
the lowest I know this is gonna sound stupid, the
lowest since twenty eleven. I know you hear two hundred Okay,
(02:25:29):
but seriously, Virginia hang on. Northern Virginia. In twenty twenty
one to twenty twenty one, homicide rates were extremely low.
Alexandria's around one to two per one hundred thousand, Fairfax
County was just about one point four to two point
three per one hundred thousand DC, which we already talked
(02:25:51):
about regional crime trends DC. Maryland Virginia first four months
of twenty twenty five, overall crime across the DMV region
filled thirteen percent thirteen percent, with declines in robbery minus
thirty two percent, homicide minus thirty percent, rape minus twenty
three percent, and aggravated of the salt minus twenty one percent.
(02:26:12):
So when you break it down as far as violent crime,
DC twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five sharply declining
historic lows, dropping from two hundred and seventy four to
one hundred eighty seven and twenty twenty four, then further
down in twenty twenty five. Maryland the state is higher
(02:26:36):
than Virginia, as Maryland had five hundred and twenty five
homicides in twenty twenty three. This includes various areas in Baltimore.
I should note that Trump has said on numerous occasions Baltimore,
Maryland is just a nasty, nasty town. Nasty town. Baltimore
City only high but falling two hundred and one homicides
(02:27:01):
in twenty twenty four and again lowest number since twenty eleven.
Norden Virginia very low single digit homicide rates. Yeah, but
did that answer your question?
Speaker 3 (02:27:17):
It does, and it brings the perspective of Okay, if
DC is doing so bad, like it's just so terrible,
then bring the same energy to Baltimore, to Maryland. It's
(02:27:37):
adjacent to d C. It is another city, So why
target DC. If DC is actually doing better, then its
counterpart up north. That's what I'm saying. If you have
if you have beef, make sure it's directed at the
(02:27:58):
right place for the right reason. That's my thing.
Speaker 2 (02:28:03):
I agree, Oh, I agree. Yeah, if you're going to
be consistent, yeah, all the way around. I agree with
you one thousand percent.
Speaker 3 (02:28:11):
Because this comes off I'm sorry it comes off. Why
like the little boy who got his candy took at
the durned birthday party and went to go tell his
mama that somebody done took his candy, and now he's
upset and just now picking on the boy that took
the candy.
Speaker 2 (02:28:29):
I hear where you're coming from, and I agree with
you and anybody else that's taking the way Tams is thinking,
like seriously, But there's also that part of me that
aches for the victims. There's that part of me that
that goes man like. I think about this one young
black dude. The brother seemed very very promising. And I'm
(02:28:52):
not talking about the police officer that just got his badge,
and I'm not talking about him. There was this young
black dude. We had a lot of good things going on.
I think he was a college student or something. He
was at some club. I think he was trying to
break up some hostile situation with a woman and her
man or some shit and he gets killed. Or just
(02:29:17):
the amount of kids that have ended up becoming a
victim to gun violence. I don't think that I'll meet
you all halfway on this. I don't think the National
Guard is the answer. It goes back to a proposal
(02:29:41):
that I had wrote from my English class about two
years ago where I came up with this like legit
proposal where I said, look, if we can invest x
amount of money into youth recreational centers and we can
(02:30:01):
invest in and blah blah blah, this will get people
off the streets and it can also serve as a
hub to help people get the resources that they need
to get on their feet again, stay on their feet again,
find some form of employment so that they can be
(02:30:23):
contributing members to this society. You know, like you know,
we can't just keep building new luxurious condos and properties
for the upper class, upper middle class, you know, targeting,
you know, more specifically, let's call it for what it is.
(02:30:44):
We can't keep widifying certain neighborhoods, okay, or only playing
up to a certain money bracket of of individuals when
we've got the low income people, you know, we're not
giving them a chance to be at the table as well.
(02:31:04):
I mean, think about that. For how fucked up is
that that I come in and I go, I'm going
to build this property. Oh, but I don't want you
guys to have anything to do with this new revision
that I'm seeing of this neighborhood. So I'm going to
give you guys a buyout, and you guys can just
go along your merry little way. No, I'm going to go. Look,
(02:31:26):
if you aren't interested in a house and you want
to get in on this, you know we can hook
you up, you know what a really cool special deal.
We'll grandfather you in and you guys can just be
locked in forever at blah blah blah. Ray. There is
ways that you can do that. It's it's been done before, right,
(02:31:48):
Like it's been done before. But just I don't think
having a national Guard presence is the answer. And dare
I say it comes off. I'm a call it for
what it's worth. I'm not gonna beat around the bush
with you people. It comes off. I'm just gonna throw
(02:32:12):
it out there. I'm just gonna throw it out there.
I don't like saying this. I really don't. I really
don't like saying this. And I want to choose my
words carefully here, I really really do, because it's a
fine line that I'm walking here. Let me say it
to you this way. Let me say it to you
this way. History has shown that when a certain ethnic
(02:32:37):
group of people, Oh they're doing what, they're doing? What
and they're doing what? Oh they savages, they're animals, they
have no intellect. You need to watch them called a
(02:32:59):
national guard. Go back in history. Y'all know what I'm
talking about. That's how this comes off. That's how this
comes off. Now, if you were to say to me,
if you were to say to me, yo, the National
Guard ain't just gonna be in Anacostia. They're not going
(02:33:21):
to just be uh, you know, at Barry Farms. They're
not gonna just be at you know, mlk Avenue. No,
they also going to be in Georgetown. Yeah, a fat chance.
I doubt that. But you know they're gonna be in
Adams Morgan. Hail to the No, they're not going to
(02:33:42):
be in Adams Morgan. Right, but but still, but still,
because let's let's be for real. We know where they're
going to be deployed, and that is some straight up
segregation kind of bullshit. If you're going to do the
National Guard, then you need to like do it across
(02:34:05):
the board. You need to do it across the board,
don't matter what ward you in. We were going to
do it all over.
Speaker 3 (02:34:13):
My thing with it is, if it's so bad and
you want to do right by the people of DC,
why why are you cutting out the middleman, which is
the person who's been running it for the last five years?
You know, why is it? Why is it? Let's you know,
(02:34:37):
I'm going to do this. This is on me. I'm
going to Okay, so why not have a meeting with
the mayor? What can we do for this issue? What
can we do for that issue? How can I help
you with this issue? Same thing with some other things
that you know, It's about my way and this is
(02:35:00):
how I'm gonna do But for me, it's why not work?
If trends are showing that you are doing it the
right way, the numbers are going the right way, then
why do you need to upset the apple cart instead
of saying, how can I work with you to make
(02:35:22):
this better?
Speaker 2 (02:35:23):
And you know what, this president and his administration the
greatest help that they could have done for Mario Bowser,
Mayor Mariel Bowser instead of getting ready to do what
they're getting ready to do on Monday. You know, the
greatest thing that they could have done. No, let's help
you get statehood. That is something that Mayor Bowser has
(02:35:44):
been pushing for for years upon years because she'd be
able to tap into so many more resources. Yeah, you
want to help DC. You want to help the mayor,
you want to help the DC Council, help them get statehood.
Speaker 3 (02:35:57):
And you know, hopefully, hopefully we're both wrong, and maybe
some of that is going to be said tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (02:36:05):
We'll see. Unlikely, so we'll see, we'll see. Let's close
out on a strong note. I'm looking at the Washington
Commander's schedule. Shout out to Nicholas and the check because
he was asking some football questions off the break but
it was kind of one of those, Well one he
wanted to know about Baltimore Ravens. I said, well, we'll
(02:36:26):
talk about them next week. And then he was like,
Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts. As far as that's a
good question, I mean, I don't know if he means like,
as far as the better athlete, as far as the
better quarterback, there's so many ways we can take that.
So Nicholas, you gotta they're both.
Speaker 3 (02:36:46):
They're both really good quarterbacks in their own right.
Speaker 2 (02:36:49):
Yeah, yeah, really really good. So here is the regular schedule.
I don't care about pre show. Here's the regular schedule
for our Washington Commanders. We did pretty good last year.
I think you ended up winning. I think I get
you get a kiss. So Week one, September seventh, New
(02:37:13):
York Giants.
Speaker 3 (02:37:16):
Mm hmmm, do I have a new quarterback?
Speaker 2 (02:37:20):
And this is where is this?
Speaker 3 (02:37:24):
Is it in New York? Or is it here? Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:37:28):
Oh yeah it's called Northwest Stadium now, isn't it?
Speaker 3 (02:37:30):
Yeah? For now?
Speaker 2 (02:37:31):
Okay, Okay, they're home.
Speaker 3 (02:37:35):
That should be us. They have a new quarterback or no, I.
Speaker 2 (02:37:39):
Think they got a new quarterback.
Speaker 3 (02:37:41):
That's what I thought, hmm, should be us.
Speaker 2 (02:37:45):
Uh, I'm gonna say when Actually, you know what, let
me get my pen and let me get a Let
me get a piece of paper here, because I want
to write this down. Love you hand me that piece
of paper. Oh yeah, that'll work. That'll work. I can
just flip it. I can flip it right, It's like
(02:38:06):
one to back. Oh no, just give me, give me that,
give me that, can me give me this? Okay? All right?
So versus Giants hang on here, all right? So we
both are saying I'm writing our win loss column here.
Speaker 4 (02:38:25):
All right?
Speaker 2 (02:38:28):
Okay, So Week one, you're going with a win and
I am going, uh with a win as well. Okay.
Week two, September eleventh versus Green Bay Packers and away game.
Speaker 3 (02:38:47):
I don't know about that one, especially if they're not
home and green Bay's been doing really well from what
I remember from last year. A lot of this depends
on whether they have Terry McLaurin. I mean, I'm thinking
(02:39:10):
that they will because he still has one year left
on his contract, but whether he'll be there or not
in the mind and reference to really be there for
his team. I'm going to go with win.
Speaker 2 (02:39:31):
You're going to go when I am going.
Speaker 7 (02:39:34):
To go with ah, I'm going to go with a loss,
all right.
Speaker 2 (02:39:45):
Week three, September twenty first, Las Vegas Raiders home game.
Speaker 3 (02:39:52):
Win.
Speaker 2 (02:39:53):
You're going with a win. I am going to go
with a loss, all right. Week four, one, two, three, four,
Atlanta Falcons. They're at Atlanta Falcons.
Speaker 3 (02:40:21):
Win.
Speaker 2 (02:40:22):
I'm going to go with a win as well. Okay.
Week five at Los Angeles Chargers.
Speaker 3 (02:40:35):
Loss.
Speaker 2 (02:40:38):
You're going with a loss, so you're giving them you're
giving them their first loss.
Speaker 3 (02:40:44):
Second?
Speaker 2 (02:40:45):
Oh no, no, first loss, yeah, first loss. I am
going to go with a loss, all right, all right.
October thirteenth home game Bears. Um, when you're going with
(02:41:14):
a win? Two huh? When you know it? Somehow hang
on here, give me a second here, guys, because somehow
I messed my uh my line column up here, so
let me go back. I got you down perfectly. You're
(02:41:36):
you're good. Week one, week two, Week three, Week four
is actually right here, and then week five we just
tackled because Week five was the Bears. Okay, now now
we're good. Uh. Week six now right at Dallas Cowboys.
(02:41:59):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (02:42:01):
That's really tricky because I'm gonna go with a loss.
Speaker 2 (02:42:08):
Okay, I'm gonna go with a win, all right. Week
seven at Kansas City Chiefs loss, I'm gonna go with
a loss as well. Week eight, Uh, Seattle Seahawks.
Speaker 3 (02:42:38):
MM when.
Speaker 2 (02:42:41):
When I'm gonna say? Ugh?
Speaker 3 (02:42:49):
And mind you, guys, I have not seen any of
the preseason games.
Speaker 2 (02:42:53):
Give me a second high. Somebody's at the door. Yeah,
can I help you?
Speaker 3 (02:43:01):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (02:43:04):
Uh no, I can I help you? She one is
my wife and the other is my mother in law.
Speaker 3 (02:43:11):
Okay, this is.
Speaker 2 (02:43:16):
Oh oh yeah, yeah, yeah you cool. Okay, hang on,
hang on, go ahead, it's go ahead. St ain't tight.
TAM's coming. No, no, no, okay, So anyway, let me
(02:43:40):
see what I'm looking at here. Let me see what
I'm looking at here for the rest of the year.
I love this ring doorbell. I'll buy a little bit
of time until TAM's gets back and then we can
finish the second half of this. I love my ring doorbell.
I love I don't know how you guys operate with
your ring doorbell, but I stay every time get a notification,
(02:44:01):
I stay going into the app just seeing what's going on,
and it's just amazing the amount of shit that you go.
Wait a minute, my neighbor's been doing this this whole time. So, like,
for instance, I have had neighbors that live like they're
to the side, but they've got this fence, right, They've
(02:44:24):
got this wooden fence. So basically when they need to
get to their home, rather than take the long route
and basically come on in like it's a sea that
they're making, they're making like a letter C. Just to
get to the front of their property. They basically will
cut through the front of our front yard. It's kind
(02:44:50):
of a share front yard. But they don't mow the grass,
they don't do anything with the grass. They will just
cut through and they'll enter their homes through the backway.
Now I don't have a problem with that. Here's where
it gets tricky. They have been walking damn near on
(02:45:11):
my fucking sidewalk and in front of my window as
they're walking paths to get to their little pathway. And
so I was telling Tams and Moms, I said, you know,
I want to get some plants so that we can
kind of cut that part off of their walk path.
(02:45:33):
That way, it forces them to be more out in
the open. Because all three of our furry kids, they've
got some sensitive hearing and boy, I tell you, once
one of them, here's some footsteps all they all three
of them. It just triggers a big old domino effect.
I tell you, it's just it's insane.
Speaker 3 (02:45:55):
Last night, I said, you know those doorbells with the barking, Yeah,
we don't need one of those, right because this sounds
legit just like it.
Speaker 2 (02:46:06):
Yeah, I like that. I made her chuckle. I said,
oh yeah, I said yeah, yeah, yeah, you cool because
because I was ready, I'm like, fucking solicitor. Oh, it's like,
that's the other thing I like about having the ring doorbell.
Was telling them how I like the ring doorbell. That's
the other thing that I like about having the ring doorbell.
Anytime you get a fucking solicitor and like you don't
(02:46:28):
like fuck you want you know? No, I haven't gone
on that route yet, but I have gone yeah can
I help you? Yeah that's usually that's that's my asshole voice,
Yeah can I help you? And I use that like
literally the other day there was a woman that like
knocked on the on the door and the first thing
Chames was like, I don't recognize her. I was like,
(02:46:49):
oh yeah, like no, like I'm like I'm like, and
I'm just going yeah because I get to play now.
It's like, yeah, can I help you? Oh yeah, We're
just My name is Felicity, and I'm in the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (02:47:05):
And I was just wondering if if you.
Speaker 2 (02:47:09):
Had time to answer a question or two. No, I don't, okay,
I love it. I love it. I love it all right?
So where were we here? We were on week we
were on week eight, We're on week eight. Let me
see here. Week eight, Kansas City Chiefs, you said loss.
Speaker 4 (02:47:38):
All right, hang on here, and then we were one.
Speaker 2 (02:47:49):
I think you said I hang on here. Week seven
Dallas Cowboys, you said you got them losing. Yeah, Dallas, Yeah,
you got them losing the Dallas okay, And I said
a loss as well. It looks like for Week eight
Kansas City Chiefs, it looks like you said win. No,
(02:48:10):
no loss, okay, loss. I am going to go with
a loss as well. Okay, hand me another piece of paper, there,
would you? All right? Week nine home game Seattle Seahawks.
I said, when you're going with a win, I'm gonna
(02:48:34):
go with a win. Oh A blank piece, A blank piece, no, no, no, no, no,
I need that. Just give me a piece of paper
with a with a blank thing. I'm a jigger. No, no, no,
blank thing. I'm a jigger. Okay, handy, handy, have me,
(02:49:01):
let me, let me see. Can I do something here?
Give me a second here, guys, I'm so sorry. I'll
tell you what. I can finish it out. No, I'm good,
I can finish it out all right. Week ten home
game Detroit Lions.
Speaker 3 (02:49:19):
I don't know about that one. We whipped their hands
last year, and I have a feeling it's gonna be
a loss.
Speaker 2 (02:49:32):
Okay, And do they have a new head coach, same coach.
Speaker 3 (02:49:38):
I would say loss.
Speaker 2 (02:49:40):
And this is Week ten, Detroit Lions. You're going with
a loss. I am going to say. I'm gonna say
a win, all right. Week eleven at Miami Dolphins when uh,
(02:50:09):
I'm gonna say, I am going to say loss? All right?
Week twelve, all right? Week twelve to get a bye?
Speaker 3 (02:50:30):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:50:30):
So Week thirteen Denver Broncos.
Speaker 3 (02:50:34):
Mmmmm win.
Speaker 2 (02:50:37):
I'm just trying to write this down real quick, that
they got a bye all right, So week thirteen, let
me write that down. That's a bye. Week twelve is
a bye week. Sorry, twelve is a bye week. Week
thirteen Broncos, And what are you saying?
Speaker 3 (02:50:58):
That's a win?
Speaker 2 (02:50:59):
That's a wink. Uh tough one. That's a tough one. Man.
I'm going to go with you said win. I'm gonna
go with a loss. Week fourteen at Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 3 (02:51:27):
Kirk Cousins still playing.
Speaker 2 (02:51:30):
I thought he went elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (02:51:32):
No, you're right, I think he did. I got a
new quarterback win.
Speaker 2 (02:51:41):
Okay, you're going with a win, I am going to go.
I'm gonna match you. I'm gonna say a win, all right. Damn,
there's eighteen weeks now. I'm running out of running out
of paper here. Week fifteen at New York Giants. When mhmm,
(02:52:09):
you're going with a win, I am going to go
with a win as well. Okay. Week sixteen, home game,
Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 3 (02:52:30):
I'm gonna say I believe in them win. But that's
that's one hell of a game. Basically versus super Bowl champs.
But they're probably pretty hungry for the fact that they,
you know, last year knocked them out at a super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (02:52:49):
Yeah, this is Week sixteen. I am gonna go with
a win, all right. Two more games. Week seventeen, Christmas
versus Dallas is.
Speaker 3 (02:53:07):
It actually Christmas is actually on Christmas? Hell? Well, we
know what the Sanders household we'll be doing on Christmas Day.
I'm gonna say they win. I'm going they here home game, yep, yeah,
I'm gonna say they win.
Speaker 2 (02:53:26):
I'm going to say win and a away game. Week
eighteen at Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 3 (02:53:39):
We do Philly, Dallas and back to Philly.
Speaker 2 (02:53:42):
Correct shit, ooh, that's tough. You got them doing a
sweep or I don't know, because I'm looking at what
you said for Week sixteen. You got them winning?
Speaker 3 (02:54:02):
Are they in Philadelphia?
Speaker 4 (02:54:04):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:54:05):
It's at Philly.
Speaker 3 (02:54:08):
I'm gonna say they lose at Philly.
Speaker 2 (02:54:10):
You got them losing at Philly? All right? Hang on here,
you got them losing at Philly. Put that check mark
right there and let me just doub doube there we go. Uh,
I will say they win, all right. So let's add
(02:54:31):
this up. All right, So let's let's uh now that
this is nice and cleaned up here. Week one against
the New York Giants, TAMS has them winning. I've got them,
uh losing. Week two Green Bay Packers, TAMS has Commanders
(02:54:56):
picking up a w. I've got them losing. Week three
against the Las Vegas Raiders. You are looking at a win.
I am looking at a win. Week four against the
(02:55:17):
Atlanta Falcons, you are looking at a win. I am
looking at a win, all right. Week five, Los Angeles Chargers.
You've got them losing first time. Week five, I've got
(02:55:37):
them losing. Week six against Chicago Bears. You've got them losing.
I've got them winning. Week seven against Dallas's see here, no,
(02:55:57):
we you can change it. You can change it if
you want. I'm saying, hang on, you're talking about Chicago Bears. Right,
I've got you down for a loss, and I've got
myself down as a win.
Speaker 3 (02:56:10):
That was the other way around.
Speaker 2 (02:56:11):
But okay, this is your last chance if you want
to change it, change it.
Speaker 3 (02:56:15):
I think they're going to win with the Bears.
Speaker 2 (02:56:17):
Okay, so let's change that. Week six against the Bears,
the Bears, Okay. Week seven against Dallas Cowboys, you're looking
at a.
Speaker 3 (02:56:31):
Loss.
Speaker 2 (02:56:34):
I am looking at a loss. Week eight against Kansas
City Chiefs, you've got them losing. I've got them losing.
Week nine against the Seattle Seahawks, you've got them winning.
I've got them winning. Going into Week ten against the
(02:56:55):
Detroit Lions. You see them losing. I see them picking
up a win. Week eleven against the Miami Dolphins, You've
got them picking up a win. I've got them picking
up a loss. Week twelve is there bye week, which
brings us to week thirteen against the Denver Broncos. You've
(02:57:15):
got them picking up a w. I've got them picking
up a defeat. Week fourteen at Minnesota Vikings, you've got
them winning. I've got them picking up a Look here,
i've got them picking up a Am I reading? That's right?
(02:57:38):
Look here, I've got them picking up a See. This
is why, this is why I need a proper format
joint so I can really check this off really good.
Here you got them winning because I see your win
(02:57:59):
loss column. Yeah, this looks right. Then what week are
we on?
Speaker 3 (02:58:05):
Now?
Speaker 2 (02:58:05):
I'm sorry, I'm getting old. What are we going now?
Week thirteen?
Speaker 3 (02:58:10):
You definitely just did Week ten?
Speaker 2 (02:58:13):
Did we do Week thirteen? Denver Broncos. Let's go there,
Let's go there, Let's go there, because I know for
a fact I said week twelve by week Oh yeah,
I did say that, all right. Week thirteen, Denver Broncos,
you got them picking up a when I've got them.
What's like I got them winning? Okay, I'm assuming this
(02:58:35):
is right. Okay. Week fourteen Minnesota Vikings, you've got them
picking up a when I've got them picking up a win.
Week fifteen New York Giants. Looks like you're going with
(02:58:55):
a when I am going with Let me see here, Yeah,
something doesn't look right. My side looks totally fucked up.
Now see no, no, do me a favorite. Give me
(02:59:19):
a blank piece of paper, Give me a blank just
give me a blank piece of paper, because this is
some bullshit. Sorry, guys, So what did we learn in
doing this part of the show. We learned that we
need to have this nice and properly organized for the
near future. So TAM's talk to the folks for a
(02:59:41):
little bit. I'm gonna do a proper I'm going to
do a proper grid because we are not going to
go off the air with all of this disco population
that's going on here, all right, So, uh, you talk
with the listeners here and I will get us a
proper grid. Wish I had a ruler. But the only
thing I'm missing here you got a credit card for me? No,
(03:00:04):
say you got a credit card. I'll make it work.
Speaker 3 (03:00:07):
There's this, Yeah, what is this? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:00:13):
I can make this ship work, all right? Go ahead?
Do you think see here?
Speaker 3 (03:00:19):
So I think for Washington, it really just truly depends
on what kind of momentum they're building with the players
that they have. But I'm hearing some decent things about
some of the new and upcoming players. I do know
(03:00:41):
that they literally were handed their first defeat in preseason.
But you know, enough said in reference to we literally
won all three precon season games and then damn near
lost all of our mainstay games. And half the time
with preseason, it's pretty much the start, not the starters.
(03:01:04):
It's pretty much, okay, let's see what our our rookies
and our acquired players can do and together. So we
haven't even put in special teams or the regular players yet,
so we shall see. And then, of course Terry McLaurin
in reference to whether they can keep him, in reference to,
you know, a multi year deal or or what that's
(03:01:26):
going to entail. I do know that Joth Eisman has
signed on as a co co owner as well. Really
I did not know that, So that's you know, he's
looking at, you know, helping the franchise, you know, regrow,
not regrow, but but really truly, you know, hopeing in
(03:01:50):
some capacity for that. There was I don't remember the
I do not remember the team name on who did it,
but there was some kicker in preseason who kicked a
seventy yard field.
Speaker 2 (03:02:08):
Goal that's now with the Commanders.
Speaker 3 (03:02:11):
Is not with the Commanders. It's another team. And I can't,
for the life of me at the moment remember who
because it was one of those in passing and I'm.
Speaker 2 (03:02:18):
Like, WHOA. So, what's going on with Terry McLaurin. Is
it a case where so.
Speaker 3 (03:02:24):
They're still in contract negotiations At one point he was
demanding a trade, but he still has a year left
on his contract, correct, which they plan on holding him
to that he wants more money, they're you know, holding out.
I guess if you want to call.
Speaker 2 (03:02:44):
It that eighteen weeks right, yes, holding out?
Speaker 3 (03:02:49):
Like I said, I guess you want to call it that.
We shall see. We shall see whether they, you know,
make him finish out that last year of his contract
and how effective that will be if that does happen,
versus giving him a new deal and paying him more money. Now,
I can definitely tell you that I did see him
(03:03:11):
as a definite leader last year, and it really I
think offset a lot of that rookie year that Lord
High Mercy, my brain is going haywire number five. I
(03:03:34):
want to call him Hurts, and I know that's not
it because that's Philly Daniels. There you go, so with
j Daniels in reference to you know how effective he
was last year. So and I know he is definitely
a person who means what he says, and says what
he means fat through and through.
Speaker 2 (03:03:58):
I like that we picked up von Miller though.
Speaker 3 (03:04:02):
Yeah, that's gonna be a big thing for us.
Speaker 2 (03:04:04):
That's a huge weapon. That is a huge weapon.
Speaker 3 (03:04:07):
So I'm I'm very much excited. You know. The funny
thing is, I don't think I've actually been this into
a Redskins slash Commander season in a long time.
Speaker 2 (03:04:21):
You said the R word, I don't kill you said
the R word, the word in the meaning.
Speaker 3 (03:04:32):
So no, but no, the Commander seasons. Really, it has
been a long time since we really have had a
season and players and a staff to really be excited about.
So generally it's funny. Last year, a lot of the time,
(03:04:53):
if I was out and about or whatever have you,
I mean, on the times that I could be home,
I was, but on the days is kind of kind
of like leads like the Commanders are playing and it's
kind of like, oh yeah, I wonder what's happening, or
I'll you know, check the store on my phone. But really,
I am truly excited about this year and to see
(03:05:15):
what they can do. You know, I hope I pray
that they actually build on the momentum of last year,
because it really is truly their time. I remember, you know,
this is dating me a little bit, but I definitely remember.
I think it was eighty six when they went to
the Super Bowl and one, so it's been a long time,
(03:05:38):
long time since since that.
Speaker 2 (03:05:41):
Okay, I'm ready, So I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (03:05:44):
I'm excited to see what they can do.
Speaker 2 (03:05:45):
Okay, I made me a nice, pretty ass damn chart.
The best part about this is I get to edit
this out in post production, so it's gonna sound real
fucking good for the people downloading it.
Speaker 3 (03:05:57):
All.
Speaker 2 (03:05:57):
Right, Now, then let's do this week one New York Giants.
Speaker 3 (03:06:03):
Oh, we're doing it again.
Speaker 2 (03:06:04):
We're just gonna start yep. Yeah, we're just gonna start
it over yep.
Speaker 3 (03:06:09):
Okay, I'm sorry, excuse me. Lost for the Giants me.
Speaker 2 (03:06:12):
And this is your official lock in, so if you
need to take a few seconds, think about it, because
I want to be no more chicken scratching. Okay, all right,
so that is a win for you. I am gonna
go with a win as well. Week two at Green
Bay Packers when I am going to go with the
(03:06:45):
win as well, all right? Week three Las Vegas Raiders
when I'm gonna go with a loss. Week four Atlanta Falcons,
I'll go with a win as well. Week five, Los
(03:07:08):
Angeles Chargers loss. I like the Chargers. I'm gonna go
with a loss as well. Week six the Bears win,
I'm gonna go with a win as well. Week seven
(03:07:28):
Dallas Cowboys loss. I'm gonna go with hm. I'm gonna
go with a win, all right. Week a Kansas City
Chiefs loss.
Speaker 3 (03:07:44):
Loss.
Speaker 2 (03:07:45):
I'm gonna go with a loss as well. A Week
nine Seattle Seahawks, I'm gonna go with a loss. Detroit
Lions loss. I'm gonna go with a loss. Miami Dolphins
(03:08:06):
when I'm gonna go with a loss.
Speaker 4 (03:08:13):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (03:08:15):
Week twelve is there bye week? So hang on here, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
twelve is a bye week. This is a little one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
(03:08:35):
twelve week Okay. Week thirteen Denver Broncos, when I'm gonna
go with a loss? Uh. Week fourteen Minnesota Vikings, when
(03:09:02):
I'm gonna go with a win. Week fifteen New York Giants,
when I'm gonna go with a win. Week sixteen Philadelphia Eagles,
when I said when on the first one, I'm gonna
(03:09:25):
go with fuck it, I'll give it to them. I
think they can pull it off. I'll give them a win.
And then Christmas Day Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (03:09:43):
When.
Speaker 2 (03:09:46):
I Am going to give them a win as well.
And then the finale Week eighteen against Philadelphia Eagles. You've
got them losing, I am going to go. I'm gonna
(03:10:11):
go for a sweep. I think I've got them sweeping
the Eagles.
Speaker 3 (03:10:15):
Two at Philly. That's gonna be tough.
Speaker 2 (03:10:19):
I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm I'm I'm gonna have some conviction.
I'm gonna go for a sweep. All right, let's add
up the records here. So when it's all said and done,
Tammy's got the commanders one win, two wins, three wins,
four wins, five wins, six wins, seven wins, eight wins,
nine wins, ten wins, eleven wins, twelve wins, twelve wins
(03:10:50):
one two three four. That sound about right to you.
You got them winning twelve games, losing four times? Now,
is that gonna be enough to get them into the should?
Speaker 3 (03:11:01):
Right?
Speaker 2 (03:11:02):
Should? Depends on how the rest of the league is
looking all right? Well, yeah, the rest of that division specifically.
Speaker 3 (03:11:08):
I don't think they'll have to be in the wild card. Yeah,
I think they'll be in.
Speaker 2 (03:11:13):
You know, I don't know if they'll you know, so
you would be shocked if it was a wildcard, Yeah
I would. So you got them clinching a playoff berth
with that record, yes, okay, let me write that down clinch.
Speaker 3 (03:11:30):
But it really does depend on how the other teams
are doing.
Speaker 2 (03:11:36):
Right, all right? Me? One two, three, four, five, six, seven,
eight nine, ten. I got them at ten wins one two, three, four, five,
six seven, that's about right. That's about right. I got
(03:11:56):
them at ten wins, seven losses. I don't have them clenching.
I think they're gonna need some help. And I got
them going into a wild card, and I'm gonna say
wild card, and then whoever they play, they will get
their asses handed to them. That'll be it. So they'll
(03:12:19):
get their wild card game, they'll get they'll get their
little postseason little hoorah. But that'll be it, all right.
Speaker 3 (03:12:27):
So guys, you heard it here first. So I'm gonna
make it interesting. And at the end of this, I
ain't going for no kiss, all right, So you buy
me dinner in the movie my choice if I win
or get closer. Same goes for you. I buy you
(03:12:50):
dinner in a movie of your choice. If you get closer.
Speaker 2 (03:12:56):
Hey, that means I get to finally take you to
the theaters and you see a fucking slasher flick. Yeah,
I'm down, because you don't like slasher flicks. Okay, Yeah,
it's sweeten the pot a little more. Oh, and you
can eat anything huh you know if I win. Huh
oh Oh. She shouldn't have said that she hates sushi.
(03:13:17):
So yeah, yeah, well I know where we're going. I
know where we're going. I'm gonna be eating my sushi,
watching you try to eat sushi. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
There we go yep. And then eat lemonade. All right,
so let us know how you're looking at that, and
then we'll cover another team or two next week. We'll
(03:13:40):
definitely have this be more organized like how we just
did it now. That way we can refer to our
cheat sheets and see how we're doing overall. I know
Nicholas had talked about how he is a fan of
the Chargers. We'll definitely poke our head. Great team, we'll
poke our head. I don't want to do all the
(03:14:03):
teams because that that's just too long winded.
Speaker 3 (03:14:05):
Maybe we can do obviously, we need to do Baltimore. Yeah,
you gotta do Baltimore, and then maybe a Midwest team.
Speaker 2 (03:14:14):
Yeah. Definitely the Super Bowl champions or the champion and
the runner up.
Speaker 3 (03:14:22):
Yeah, definitely would be I couldn't tell you that would
be the Eagles and Detroit.
Speaker 2 (03:14:28):
I'm not going to even try to pretend I can't remember,
because I think that was actually I know it was
this year, but I remember skipping it because I didn't
even care for.
Speaker 3 (03:14:41):
Yeah, yeah, because we wanted Commanders in San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (03:14:47):
You got me, man, My brain has Swiss cheese a
lot of times, so I my ass couldn't tell you.
I really couldn't tell you.
Speaker 3 (03:14:56):
Well, we'll do We'll do a few more teams, but
but for sure, you know, we could definitely do the
Super Bowl Champs and we'll definitely do Baltimore and then
maybe one or two others.
Speaker 2 (03:15:11):
I hope you guys appreciated this episode. This is we
haven't hit a joint like this in a minute, so
we really went all over the place, rightfully. So because
it was a heavy wrestling oriented kind of big news week,
especially with the stuff on Bruce Willis, I definitely wanted
I didn't want to just gloss over the stuff with
Bruce Willis. I definitely wanted to, you know, really spend
(03:15:33):
a couple of minutes talking about that and everything. So
let's take a fork in it because we're like past
three hours. We give you guys a nice, big old meal.
Enjoy it for what it's worth. Yeah, always going to
get a meal like this, I promise you.
