All right, All ride, all right, Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome tonight's podcast. We are streaming, not screaming, from San Bernardino, California,
to the world on radio station KCAA ten fifty AM
one oh six point five FM and streaming live. Oh tonight,

(08:52):
We're going to talk about a fellow named Charlie Kirk,
and I understand a lot of people i'd have pent
up feelings about this out there, So I invite your
calls about Charlie Kirk, whether he was a good guy
or a bad guy, whether he deserved to die, whether
he didn't deserve to die. Let's talk about the ins

(09:18):
and outs of political assassinations and gun deaths in America.
Let's talk about a whole range of subjects.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
The only.

Speaker 14 (09:31):
Stipulation here is that you be reasonable and respectful. So
our listener lines are open tonight at area code nine
oh nine three eight three one thousand, Area code nine
oh nine three eight three eight thousand, or area code
nine oh nine three eight three nine thousand. That ought

(09:54):
to be simple enough even for you maga Trumpers to remember.
So yesterday, while most of us were going about our
regular business, this Charlie Kirk character shows up at a
school in Utah and somebody drills him with apparently a

(10:18):
high powered rifle from quite a distance away, and immediately
the Trump White House begins to mourn and call him
a martyr and their best friend, and reportedly the tears
were flowing at the White House. I wonder where those

(10:38):
tears were for the school children who were killed this
past week in the United States. Where was the special
airplane sent to console the parents and families of the
Catholic school children killed in the Northern United States? There

(11:00):
was all this concern about gun violence from the Maga
Republicans before. Oh now, it's a horrible thing. And don't
get me wrong, as the poet said, any man's death
diminishes me, for no man is an island. But did

(11:21):
Charlie Kirk invite his own death? Did he get out
there and finally push too far? Let's take a look
at who this Charlie Kirk fellow was and what he's done.
He's a thirty one year old political activist with no

(11:44):
particular education who goes around to college campuses debating nineteen
year old kids. Not really a debate. If you look
at Charlie Kirk's website, you see some of the question

(12:05):
and answer sessions that he has, and basically he allows
college students to get up there and ask him anything
they want and then he replies, well, that's not a debate,
that's a question and answer session, and that really the

(12:25):
winner of that goes to the person answering the question
because they can twist their answer to make the questioner
look foolish. It's a simple tactic, well known to any lawyer,

(12:48):
any person who's ever engaged in a real debate, such
as an Oxford debate. It's called reduc your ab absurdum.
Reduce your other, your opponent's argument to an absurdity, take
it to an absurd result, give everyone a laugh. And

(13:12):
it appears to nullify the position of one's opponent. It doesn't.
It's merely a cheap rhetorical trick. And let's look at
the people that he's talking to. He's talking to nineteen
twenty year old college students who haven't made up their mind,

(13:33):
or many who have made up their mind about what
they are in this world. You know, it doesn't take
a whole lot of skill to debate college kids, especially
when we look back at the grades with which most
kids come out of high school and go into college.

(13:57):
I've heard many college professors you know, you come in
here with your minds full of mush, or maybe that's
a movie I saw. You come in here with your
minds full of mush, And it's the college experience which
teaches you how to reason, how to think, and Charlie

(14:20):
Kirk would take advantage of these poor kids. I went
to YouTube and I had to look at a couple
of his sessions. There's certainly many many more on there
which I did not have a chance to review. But
one of the more recent ones was a young college

(14:42):
student who gets up there and claims that he's nineteen
years old and he used to be gay, but now
Jesus Christ has saved him from being gay and he's
no longer gay.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Garbage.

Speaker 14 (15:02):
If that wasn't a setup, phony questioner, I don't know
what is. That's what we call a straw man, somebody
who comes in and makes your argument much easier for you,
a third party who has no real argument. This is

(15:25):
another one of Kirk's techniques that he used. And he
questions this kid about his faith and how Jesus has
freed him from homosexuality, as if that's something that Jesus
cares about, and then they go on to another question

(15:51):
but it's And then the next kid gets up and
he wants to talk to Charlie Kirk about atheism and
whether an atheist can have a moral center. Well, of
course an atheist can have a moral center, and most
atheists do have a moral center, but Charlie Kirk takes

(16:17):
it off into some realm of whether it's objectively good
or subjectively good. He quotes a quote from some book
that I know I haven't read, and I doubt that
any student in his audience had read. Whether he misquoted
that or not, nobody can tell. But this is a

(16:41):
guy who has represented the MAGA write the fascist right
with vim and vigor for a number of years, and
has made a lot of money doing it, And that
alone makes me suspicious of him. He's wormed his way

(17:03):
into Donald Trump's affection, which is not hard to do
if you have plenty of money, and rather than talk
about the real problems in America, gun deaths, gun deaths

(17:25):
of our school children and what can be done to
stop that. In fact, he was being asked a question
about the Second Amendment when a bullet pierced him. But
I heard him also say that he believes the Second
Amendment allows for some school children deaths because it's more

(17:51):
important that we defend ourselves against a tyrannical government. Are
you kidd He's got to be kidden. I'd like to
ask him if he could spell Waco, Waco Texas, Waco, Texas.

(18:18):
Anytime you think that a militia or a church or
a group of mercenaries can hold off the United States government,
you just need to learn the lesson of Waco. For

(18:39):
those of you who may have a vague recollection of it,
it was a large separatist church which was stockpiling weapons
against an expected invasion of the government, and they had
M sixteen's, they had various hyph Howard rifles, and the

(19:03):
ATF came to serve a search warrant on them, which
quite frankly, the ATF botched. But during that standoff, which
lasted for several days, the ATF managed to convince Attorney

(19:24):
General Janet Reno that children were in danger in there,
and that children were being harmed. So in order to
unharm the children at Waco, the ATF took a large

(19:46):
fire breathing armored vehicle and inserted it into the compound
the home where these children and their mothers and other
followers of this cult we're living, and set the house
on fire and incinerated the vast majority of them women,

(20:09):
children followers. It reminds me a little bit of the
Vietnam conflict. Would some of the soldiers claim they had
to destroy the village in order to save the village.
So my point is that if you think you're going

(20:32):
to overthrow the United States government with your M sixteen
and your stockpile of bullets and your reloaders and your
few dozen or few hundred, or even a few thousand
militia buddies, you think you're going to survive in the

(20:54):
woods and fight the United States Army, you don't stand
a chance. You don't stand a chance, and the US
Army would roll over you like you'r nothing. Civilian populations

(21:17):
these days, the Second Amendment is not going to prevent
a tyrannical takeover of the government. What's going to prevent
a tyrannical takeover of the government is for the citizenry
to educate themselves on how fascism takes over in a country.

(21:43):
Take a lesson from Germany in the nineteen thirties. Take
the lesson of how Hitler turned a peace loved German
people into mass murderers, because that's exactly what Donald J.
Trump is trying to do in this country. He is

(22:06):
attempting to have a fascist takeover. For those of you
who don't know what fascism is Fascism is a joint
operation between a government and corporations for the mutual benefit
of each That's exactly what's going on with the billionaires

(22:29):
that Donald Trump courts and extorts, threatens, and promises to
gain his power. He threatens law firms that roll over
for him because they think that their business is more
important than their patriotism. He threatens corporations like CBS and

(23:00):
wind up taking personalities off the air that tell jokes
about Donald Trump. That's how vindictive he is. In order
for CBS to get its approval for an expansion, they

(23:22):
had to go through the FCC, the Federal Communications Commission.
That should be an independent judgment of the FCC, but
Donald J. Trump won't let it be that way. He
wants to extort money from CBS and also have them

(23:43):
get rid of that pesky Colbert who tells such bad
jokes about poor Donald. Poor little Donald. Can't take a joke,
can't take reality, take truth. That wouldn't be so bad

(24:07):
if he didn't have a bunch of accolade syncophatic followers
like Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk is one of these religious
fanatics that believes that Christians ought to take over the

(24:27):
United States of America, take over the reigns of every
bit of our government, because in their belief, this is
a Christian nation founded on Christianity, which they do with
scant little evidence. I mentioned a couple of times of
a creator in the Declaration of Independence of the Constitution

(24:51):
and wholly ignoring the freedom of religion clause or amendment
of the Constitution, where it says the government shall neither
establish nor hinder the freedom of religion. I need to
quote that a little better. Let me just look it up.

(25:25):
The fundamental right for individuals to hold, practice, and express
any belief or no belief at all, without fear of
persecution or government interference. Now, that's the free exercise clause
of the First Amendment, which prevents the government from establishing

(25:50):
a national religion like Charlie Kirk wanted to do. He
thinks Christianity, and not only Christianity, but a particularly virulent,
hateful form of Christianity, ought to be in rule. This
is Christianity which throws out members of any other religion

(26:14):
from its institutions, from its employment. Because obviously these other people,
including atheists, are wrong thinkers. But the fact is we
all have a right to hold any religious or non
religious belief of one's choice. But you see sincopats like

(26:34):
Charlie Kirk echoing Donald Trump who says he's going to
bring prayer back to schools. Prayer back to schools. You know,
anytime a child wants to pray in school, in an
American school, they are free to do so. They are
free to do that, whether that's a Christian prayer, a

(26:58):
Muslim prayer, a Bahai prayer, a Jewish prayer, or no prayer.
There is no law banning prayer in schools. As much
as a certain sect of Christians want to say that

(27:20):
that is simply not true. What is true is that
you cannot force someone else to pray in school. I
don't see what's wrong with that. Do you really want

(27:43):
Muslim students forcing Christians to do Muslim prayers? Well, if
you believe in freedom of religion, you can't just make
it free for one sect of religion. You have to
make it free for all. We all have a right
to practice our religion in observance, practice, and teaching, and

(28:12):
the government can't force us to join an established church
or to abandon their beliefs. The government cannot endorse or
favor any particular religion. But that's what Donald Trump is doing,
and he's using those ignorant Christians out there by stoking

(28:36):
their egos and in many cases putting forth philosophies that
the establishment of a religion or establishment of a certain
government in Israel will bring about the apocalypse, and then

(28:58):
at the apocalypse, a certain small group of Christians we'll
all go to Heaven and the rest of us will die.
Maybe we'll go to Hell. Whatever that's their belief. So
they're doing everything they can to hasten the re establishment

(29:24):
of Judaism in Israel, as if it's not already. In
the meantime, they ignore the thousands of children being starved
in Gaza in the name of Judaism, in the name

(29:44):
of freedom, in the name of Christianity. It's sad to
hear that even many of our congress people are in
the grips of a lot of money that comes from
pro Israeli sources, and that they're afraid to speak out.

(30:11):
I heard one congressman who shall go nameless, recently expressed that, oh,
some of those children that look like they're starving, they
have pre existing conditions. This congressman isn't a doctor, he

(30:31):
hasn't been there to see personally, but he can diagnose
from around the world a pre existing condition in a child. Interesting,
that's the same rhetoric we hear from the Israelis when

(30:52):
they're accused of starving children in Gaza. Now, this in
no way is intended to diminish the horror that was
visited upon the Israelis by Hamas. The Hamas initial attack
was horrible, horrendous, despicable, disgusting, deserving of the death penalty

(31:18):
for every one of them who participated. There is no
doubt about it. It was beyond the pale to kidnap
little children, to execute people at a music festival, to

(31:38):
hold hostages. This is the twenty first century. Who takes
and holds hostages except a barbaric group of people, and
that is Hamas. However, you can't tell me or any
rational person that I know that all those starving children

(32:04):
that we see that the United Nations tells us about,
that aid groups, professional aid groups around the world are
telling us about. You can't say that that doesn't exist
and be a moral person. And those children are not

(32:26):
responsible for what Hamas did. Anybody who thinks that they
are is fooling themselves. And anybody who thinks that wiping
out the population of Gaza is a winning tactic is
sorely fooling themselves. Netting Yahoo. That's the same idea that

(32:53):
Hitler had to wipe you all out and be read
of the problem. But he did not and could not succeed.
And you are visiting that same philosophy on the people
of Gaza, and in particular on their children. You cannot

(33:18):
and will not succeed. Which you are doing is creating
more enemies. You are creating more enemies among the population
of Gaza who are not members of Hamas, who despise
Hamas but also despise what's being done to their children.

(33:47):
So we get this Charlie Kirk guy, and what has
he done. Well. He goes around to college campus and hegbloviates.
He thinks that college campuses are a liberal bastion, all

(34:12):
with liberal teachers, liberal professors indoctrinating their children into liberalism.
You know, education in and of itself is a liberal idea,

(34:33):
and most of who Trump claims to love are uneducated.
So we have this anti intellectualism that's rampant now in America,
and it says, well, if you have an education, you're

(34:57):
a liberal, and that has to be fought again. Do
you have to be thrown out of the university because
of your political opinion? Not only do you have to
be thrown out of the university, you have to be
thrown out of the FBI. You have to be thrown
out of the State Department. You have to be thrown

(35:20):
out of USAID, you have to be thrown out of
the Food and Drug Administration. You have to be driven
from all parts of government. And that appeals to people
like Charlie Kirk who think that they have all the

(35:43):
answers and refuse to deal with anyone else, and also
want to, how should I put this delicately, want to
stir up crap among people by saying outrageous things. And

(36:10):
I wondered to what extent did Charlie Kirk's stirring up
crap lead to his death yesterday? Did somebody shoot him
because he was a handsome white guy.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Not likely.

Speaker 14 (36:33):
Did somebody shoot him because he was going from campus
to campus?

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Not likely?

Speaker 14 (36:47):
He was shot because of the horrendous things he was saying.
Now there's no known suspect yet, there's not been an inquiry,
there's not been a trial. But he didn't get shot
for nebulous reasons. I don't think there's anybody that beliefs

(37:11):
that he wasn't shot because of the horrendous political screeds
that he would make, and somebody got scared of that.
Somebody also who didn't think that this is a democracy
where we ought to settle our disputes at the ballot box,

(37:37):
and they put a high powered bullet into him. Now
it may be that we will not be able to
handle our disputes at the ballot box anymore. We have
the maga fascist government trying to rig the elections in

(37:58):
this country. After so much crying and nashing of their
teeth and clutching at their pearls about how the voting
machines were rigged against Donald Trump, for which Fox News
wound up paying hundreds of millions of dollars in damages

(38:21):
for continuing that lie, and which Charlie Kirk also jumped
in on, continuing the lie that the ballot boxes were
rigged by Democrats all over the country, thereby denying poor
little Donald Trump his due presidency, and then just to

(38:47):
reinforce that. Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump engineered the January
sixth attempted coup of the United States government. They were
both equally responsible for that. And when you see the

(39:13):
kind of people that stormed our capital. The proud boys,
I don't know what they have to be proud of.
They don't look very proud to me. They look like
they mostly use a shave and to lose a few pounds.

(39:34):
And the oathkeepers, I don't know what oath they thought
they were keeping. When they're discharged from the military, they're
no longer bound by that oath, but they want to
use that as an excuse that they are somehow the
militia that is to defend the United States government. So

(39:57):
Charlie Kirk supported these kinds of insane rowdies who, for
the first time since the United States Civil War raised
arms against the United States Government, who marched in to

(40:18):
the halls of Congress, defacing it, breaking windows, breaking doors,
leaving their feces in various places, shouting Hang Mike Pence,
and having the ability to do so. Had the MAGA

(40:43):
fascists wanted to spin that to us as oh, they
were just tourists, they were invited in by the guards.
That would be the guards. I believe, three of whom
died as a result of the Capital insurrection. I don't

(41:04):
think the guards invited them in, and the videos of
that show very well. But that's the kind of screed
that Charlie Kirk would come up with. He'd say that
this is an illegitimate government. He'd run down America in
every way he could. I remember a country song from

(41:27):
a few years ago, when you're running down my country, boy,
you're walking on the fight inside of me. And to
tell you the truth, that's what this reformer believes. Stop
running down our government, Mega, Stop criticizing people getting along

(41:49):
with other people peacefully, Stop criticizing education in our schools.
Stop criticizing the one gay excuse me, one transgender child
in Riverside who wants to play sports. Really, do you

(42:13):
have nobody else better to pick on than that one girl?
You know, Donald Trump? When I was a young man,
it was considered shameful to pick on a girl. Of course,
Donald J. Trump has no shame, He has no morals.

(42:37):
He's not a regular churchgoer. He only goes there to
hold up a Bible or to make a speech. That's
in his favor. Ah, he doesn't know one book of
the Bible from another. I doubt that he could quote
more than one verse from memory. Yet there's so many

(43:02):
so called Christians out there that worship, virtually worshiped this man.
And Charlie Kirk was one of Donald J. Trump's apostles.
So did he bring on his own death? What do

(43:23):
you think happens when you stir people up constantly on
your podcast, on college campuses, on personal appearances, when you
constantly denigrate people for the way they're born, for the

(43:44):
religion they practice that's not the same as yours, for
the political beliefs they have. When you start to call
these people dangerous, read your history books. Read about horsed
vessel who was killed by communists and a horse Vessel

(44:08):
in nineteen thirty was a rowdy little Nazi who consorted
with at least one prostitute and was a rabble rouser.
He advocated the extermination of a religion that was different

(44:32):
than that of the German people, or at least the
majority of the German people. He advocated for Christianity. His
father was a Lutheran minister. Yet the good German people
wound up slaughtering in camps six million Jews and countless

(44:58):
other homosexuals, gypsies and political prisoners. And the German people
went along with this. Why did they do that? Well,
first a false enemy had to be created. The Jew, Ah,

(45:21):
The Jew has all the money. The Jew is taking
your country from you. The Jew is the reason that
we lost the war without ever a battle on our
own ground. Look at what Donald Trump has done. Ah,

(45:43):
the liberal, the intellectual is the enemy. The college professor
is the enemy. All those educated lawyers at the Justice
Department that prosecuted him for his crimes, they're the enemies.

(46:04):
Now Donald Trump is a criminal. He's convicted of sexual offenses.
He refused to pay off, and then he called e
Jen Caroll a liar and got an even bigger jury
judgment against him, which has now been appealed again. In
his appeal has been denied. And Donald J. Trump learned

(46:29):
all these techniques from Adolf Hitler and from Senator Joe McCarthy.
It's a matter of record that Donald J. Trump hired
Senator McCarthy's lawyer Cohen to represent him in his business dealings.

(46:52):
And Cohen's technique was never back down, never, never, give
an inch.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
Now.

Speaker 14 (47:04):
Quite frankly, that's something I admire as a former attorney.
That's what you do in the best interests of your client,
but you keep it within the bounds of ethics. And
what Cohen would do for Donald J. Trump is make

(47:27):
it easy for Trump to not pay off his contractors
on his building schemes, none of which ever made a
cent for Trump Enterprises. He would use this to oppress
little contractors that he might owe fifty or one hundred
thousand or a million dollars to and make it cost

(47:50):
them so much in attorney's fees that it no longer
became worth the little guy litigating as a consequence of that.
Just before he was elected president, no bank in this
country would take a risk on a Donald J. Trump loan.

(48:14):
But he had a little show, The Apprentice, completely made up,
which people seem to believe was a reality show, when
in fact it was nothing like that. He would hire
and fire people on his own whim, and then the

(48:35):
producers of that show had the duty to edit the
tapes of that week to make it look as if
he didn't do anything. So I'm glad that nobody has
called in tonight to oppose me on my opinions on
Charlie Kirk being a despicable crap disturber who brought about

(49:00):
his own demise, if you'd like to dispute that in
a reasonable way nine oh nine three eight three one thousand,
nine oh nine three eight three eight thousand, nine oh
nine three eight three nine thousand. Where are you trumpers
with your big opinions out there, and you're sanctifying this

(49:23):
guy as a martyr already in a saint.

Speaker 12 (49:27):
You know, they're.

Speaker 14 (49:28):
Already referring to him from the White House as a martyr.
A martyr is a person who dies for a religious cause.
Charlie Kirk didn't die for a religious cause. He died
for his own cause. He died because he wanted to
make a lot of money, millions of dollars, by insulting

(49:55):
other people, by denigrating other people, by running down America,
by running down my country. Oh, but he loved America,
the White House is telling us now, really, really he
loved America. What did he do for America that he

(50:19):
loved so much? Did he ever enter the military?

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Hmmm?

Speaker 14 (50:29):
No, no record of him ever being in the military
of the country he claims to love so much. You know,
love is more than just shooting off your mouth. Love
is responsibility. Love is joining the military in its time

(50:49):
of need, of being willing to sacrifice your own body
in the interests of your country. And there are tens
hundreds of thousands of our American men and women out
there in the military right now who are demonstrating their

(51:10):
love for America by serving us in the most dangerous
places in the world. That's love for America, not just
running your mouth, shooting off your mouth, running down your
country making other people seem to be discontent, lying to

(51:34):
people telling them their religion is underattack, when there's no
such thing, absolutely no such thing as Christianity being under
attack in America.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
There's not a.

Speaker 14 (51:49):
School in America where Christian prayer is forbidden. And I
challenge anybody to show me one.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Donald J.

Speaker 14 (52:00):
Trump, You're a charlatan, You're a liar. You have nothing
at all about America's interests at heart. Your only desire
is to enrich yourself and your family and to try

(52:22):
to turn this government into one not for the people
but for the wealthy, for the billionaires. Your best friend
Putin found that to be a good way to operate
in Russia, and he plays you like a fiddle. Now

(52:43):
you go over and think you've made peace in Alaska
with Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, you couldn't be. You couldn't
be Putin at any thought. He is so far ahead
of Trump that it boggles the mind. He plays Trump

(53:11):
while he continues to attack Ukraine and now probing Poland
and NATO to see what Poland and NATO will do
in response. And Trump does what in response to this attack?
Nothing that's loving America. Donald, I see you clutching a flag,

(53:41):
But you weren't clutching a flag when you had the
bone spurs to get out of the draft. So you're
not fooling anybody, Donald, who can read, who does anything
other than watch Fox News a sort of a despicable,

(54:04):
disgusting lie factory, which is not even mentioned most of
the relevant news. For those of you who listen to
Fox News, I encourage you to watch something else once
in a while. They have you convinced without an education,

(54:27):
you can do your own research and you can decide
what vaccines you ought to take. Well, you know what,
don't take any vaccines. But don't come around my grandchildren.
Don't come around my family. Don't come around me with
your virulin diseases. Don't come into my school unvaccinated. Now,

(54:52):
the state of Florida wants to allow people not to
get the chicken pox violin vaccination because chicken pox isn't
very serious.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Duh.

Speaker 14 (55:12):
Anybody knows who understands anything at all about chicken pox
is that children who have chicken pox or who are
vaccinated against it, do not develop smallpox in later years.

(55:37):
Chicken pox confers an immunity to smallpox. So don't get
your chicken pox vaccination. Let's just go right to smallpox.
That will be a wave of disease across this country

(55:59):
and across the leavers of Donald J. Trump that Charlie
Kirk ought to take personal responsibility for. When you weaken
the institutions of America, such as our Food and Drug Administration,
such as our Health services, such as our Justice Department,

(56:21):
such as our FBI, such as our Congress. When you
weaken those tentacles of government, you kill the American democracy.

(56:42):
Government is here to serve the will of the people,
not to serve the will of the aristocracy of the
billionaires and Donald Trump. So I'd like to warn you
all that next will be the final hour of The Reformer,

(57:05):
and I'm going to talk to you about what's going
to happen. Let's take a look and prognosticate the future
a little bit. Will there be more political shootings? What

(57:31):
will happen with the twenty twenty six mid term elections?
Will jerry mandarin and vote rigging in the States tear
down our democracy? Is it fair to take unfair advantage

(57:52):
when you think that you're going to lose an election?
Why isn't that vote rigging? And what will happen on
January sixth, twenty twenty seven. What will happen that day? So,

(58:14):
ladies and gentlemen, from San Bernardino, California to the world.
This has been The Reformer with Alan Bartleman. I look
forward to seeing you here next week, seven pm, same time,
same station. Thank you very much.

Speaker 12 (58:39):
Well up, backdown, Noah long, back down.

Speaker 7 (58:48):
You can stand at the gates.

Speaker 12 (58:51):
Of Malvada lom backdwn stand ground. Won't be turned around?

Speaker 10 (59:05):
Can I'll keep this world.

Speaker 13 (59:07):
Brom dragging me down? I gonna stand my grand Anna
won back down, baby.

Speaker 12 (59:22):
They aren't a easy way. You stand man ground.

Speaker 13 (59:34):
And I won't back down.

Speaker 12 (59:38):
Well, what's right, I got just one line in a
world that keep.
