(06:38):
to the entire world. This is the Reformer. I'm your host,
Alan Bartleman. Welcome to Truth in Radio. Truth in Podcasting Tonight.
The podcast is devoted not only to the truth, but
to the lies of Donald J. Trump and mister Trump.
(07:03):
If you want to sue the Reformer, you just call
up CACAA and to be happy to give you my
home address for service a process. Sue me. Please, let
me get you into a deposition. Let me get you
into a deposition, you lucky loser. Which brings me to
(07:26):
my first book. Tonight. I want to recommend to you
by winners of the Pulitzer Prize, Resputiner and Susan Craig,
the book Lucky Loser. It's available everywhere in your favorite
bookstore or wherever you buy your books now. This book
(07:55):
is meticulously footnoted and Donald J. Trump tried to get
pre publication censorship on this book Lucky Loser, all about
him and his lies, and the courts denied him. And
since the time of the publication of this book, which
(08:18):
was the first edition twenty twenty four, he has not
yet sued Russ Putner or Suzanne Craig or The New
York Times, claiming that any of these statements about him
in here demonstrable lies are in fact false, and so
(08:42):
we'll be going through that tonight. A couple of other books.
I want to recommend to you, those of you who
can read and are willing to put in the time.
One of my heroes in my life was Smedley Butler.
Spedley Butler is an obscure character. He was a United
(09:04):
States marine during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
He was a marines marine. He was such a marine
that he's the kind of bravery I think he won
the Congressional Medal of Honor twice. He's the kind of
(09:25):
bravery that they teach marines about in boot camp. Of course,
they exaggerate his story and make him out to be
well a little bit more of the hero than he
actually was. But they do say one good thing about
him is that the reason that Smedley Butler never became
(09:47):
commandant of the Marine Corps was because he was too
much of a marine's marine. And the way they pitch
it to us in Marine Corps camp as well, he
would have he was promising beer and broods in the
barracks if he became common dowt of the Marine Corps.
(10:10):
That's not quite right. Actually, Smedley Butler wrote a book
called I Was a Gangster for Capitalism. Very small and
short book, but it reveals how he realized, after having
been sent to fight in Cuba in the Spanish American War,
(10:32):
having been sent to the Philippines to fight the Filipinos,
that essentially he was being used by the McKinley administration
as a gangster to extend American lazzi fair capitalism around
the world. Sound familiar. McKinley was the president who defended
(10:57):
upon tariffs and thought the tariffs were the answer to
our problems. We have learned since that tariffs are not
the answer to our problems if we want to run
an efficient and regular government, which apparently this administration doesn't
want to do at any rate. Gangsters for Capitalism is
(11:18):
an great book for you to read. Another one is
American Midnight by Adam hawk'schild, and American Midnight talks about
the World War One era when we were just coming
out of the McKinley era, yet we were involved in
(11:42):
World War One, the First World War and the loss
of freedoms that we have. Many of you may have
seen the movie Reds with Robert Redford in the lead,
and it's about an American journalist played by Robert Redford
(12:03):
and an immigrant from Russia, Emma Goldman. Emma Goldman was
quite a radical when she was here in the United States,
and she made so many comments against the United States
participation in World War One that she was actually arrested
under sedition laws and deported for her speech. And the
(12:30):
movie Reds tells a very fictionalized, very pretty version of that.
But that's exactly what this Trump administration is trying to
do by silencing who it perceives to be its enemies.
And its enemies are anyone who tells the truth, such
as National Public Radio or Public Broadcasting or CBS, Colbert,
(12:58):
all the major networks, NBC, ABC, CBS, you know, they
all have they all tell the truth about Trump. The
only one that Trump believes and that his listeners believe
is Fox News. I want to ask you that those
of you who believe in Donald Trump, which is more
likely that everybody in the world has a grudge against
(13:23):
Donald J. Trump and therefore lies about him everybody in
the world is a liar except Fox News? Or is
it more likely that Donald J. Trump is a liar
and these networks are telling the truth about him. Think
(13:44):
about that for a minute. You know, every time this
guy gets in a jam, he claims, Oh, well, that's
a lie, that's not true, that's fake news, but he
never puts up to the evidence to show it's fake news.
So now in d C, while he has federal agents
(14:05):
running around chasing a pop smoker and apparently a couple
of federal agents going in with guns drawn into a
gay bar looking for crime, he's distracting from the big question,
(14:28):
what about you and Epstein? Donald tell us about you
and Epstein? What was your relationship? He's doing everything he
can to distract from that. If Washington, d C was
so crime written and so terrible, why didn't he invade
it on day one? Why does he wait till now,
(14:51):
till it's time, till the Epstein scandal comes up again,
right in his face? And why not just released Justice
Department files? Released the Justice Department files, unaltered, uncensored, unredacted.
(15:12):
Let's see if Donald Trump isn't named by some of
the victims in there, if he's not fine, if he
is well, like Dossy ernest Is. I think Donald J.
Trump has a lot of splaining to do about his
friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and his relationship with underage girls.
(15:38):
We've heard him make you know, comments about women before,
and you know you could grab him by the genitals,
do anything he wants. He can get away with it
because he's a big star, and who's to think that
he didn't get away with it. I think he's got
(16:00):
a lot to hide and that a lot of people
not going to settle for his half baked explanation. So
I invite callers to call in tonight here to k
c AA with your questions or comments, and our our
listener lines are nine oh nine three eight three eight
(16:21):
thousand and nine O nine three eight three nine thousand.
If you have a question or comment or want to
learn something about Donald Trump's lies or whether you want
to defend Donald Trump, give the Reformer a call and
let's talk. Uh. Let me put on my earphones here
(16:42):
so I can listen and Eric, apparently we have a
caller online online one caller, go ahead, please, uh go ahead?
Speaker 9 (17:00):
What is the fun I think is actually Trump's most
dangerous lie?
Speaker 5 (17:07):
Hmm, What's Trump's most dangerous lie?
Speaker 9 (17:12):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
Let me throw it to you. Do you have an
opinion of what what's his most dangerous lies? Let me
think about it a second, because I have several that
come to mind.
Speaker 9 (17:24):
I would say that climate change hope is actually the
most dangerous lie. That there's so many lies to choose them.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Yeah, I agree with you. That's you know, lyne that
trying to say that climate change is a hoax is
just absurd, especially in the face of it. You know,
we look around at the growing wildfires in this country
and in Europe, and uh, you know, that's clear evidence
(17:58):
of climate change. We ever had fires like this before.
We have the hottest temperatures recorded for the past ten years,
every year rising and rising. So the caller's quite correct.
We've been looking at the evidence of climate change for
(18:19):
a long time, you know, caller. One of the things
that always, you know, impresses me, and I've been involved
in the accident to try and stop climate change at
least since nineteen ninety nine was Sierra Club. But one
(18:40):
of the things that bothers me is that it's so
hard to get the lay person to believe it. It's
kind of like the old story about boiling a frog.
If you put the frog into cold water and you
boil him or her very slowly and raise the temperature
(19:02):
a little bit and a little bit, the frogy'll just
kind of get drowsy and fall asleep and eventually be
boiled to death. But if you were to take that
frog and dump it into boiling hot water in the
first place, why he'd jump right out. Well, the same
is true with climate change. Climate change doesn't change overnight
(19:26):
and become boiling hot. It gets worse and worse and worse.
It comes with fires, it comes with floods. We have unanticipated,
unprecedented floods across the southern and eastern United States. Now,
even in Texas, where the Texas legislature thinks it's more
(19:49):
important to find five more seats for Donald Trump than
it is to protect the little children who go to
the camps along that river that flooded, they've taken no
action whatever to protect the people of Texas because they're
(20:14):
far too busy doing Donald Trump's bidding. A bunch of
weak need losers, a bunch of cowards, a bunch of
sink of fans. That's what's in the Texas legislature. So
(20:35):
our governor here in California, by the way, has said,
bring it on. You know you want to play that game.
That's the same game that Donald Trump played with when
he got impeached with the governor of Georgia. Please just
find me three thousand more votes, remember that, Just find
(20:56):
me three thousand more votes, he said. And that was
an impeachable offense because he was trying to alter the
results in Georgia, and the Georgia courts and the federal
courts and even the Trump judges came back and said
there was nothing wrong with the Georgia election. So Trump
(21:18):
is trying to do the same thing with Texas. Please
just find me five more legislators. So you know they
are trying to ignore climate change, ignore the people of Texas.
But come on over to California, y'all. Bring y'all, bring
(21:42):
it here. You want to play dirty California. We're gonna
fight back. We're gonna fight fire with fire. We're not
gonna roll over for fascists and they're fellow travelers. We're
not going to roll over for Vladimir Putin and the
(22:03):
fascist dictatorship of Donald Trump. So bring it on. You
want a Jerrymander, We'll show you how to jerrymander. We've
had fair congressional selections in this state for the past
twenty years. There has never even been a lawsuit against
(22:28):
the Citizens Committee that chooses the redistricting in California. Do
people realize that it is so fair that by the
time it finally gets done by the Citizens Committee, no
Republican objects, no Democrat objects, no independent objects, no decline
(22:52):
to state objects. We have a fair system. We wish
the rest of the states would have adopt the same system,
to have a citizen's committee, do fair redistricting based on
community of interest, not based on race, not based on
(23:13):
anything else. We've had a fair system in California for
the past two elections. Are we willing to throw that over?
I am temporarily. I'm willing to throw that over and
think that we ought to have We ought to gerrymander
to stop this fascist takeover. So I agree with the
(23:38):
caller that's that's probably one of his biggest lives. Let's
go through and have a look at the book, Lucky Loser.
Thank you caller uh for calling in hope. I hope
that uh answered your question maybe expanded a little bit
of knowledge for you.
Speaker 9 (23:57):
Well, I'd like to make one more point, certainly, go ahead.
It hasn't been advertised very much that Putin has stated
that he wants the Arctic Ocean to be free of
ice sheets so that he can drive his tankers full
(24:17):
of oil on a shorter route than he has to
do now. And I think Trump is accommodating him.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Sure, yeah, Trump, Trump is basically Putin's girlfriend. You know,
he'll do anything. He'll do anything that Putin and the
North Korean dictator and any other dictator in the world does,
(24:47):
because those birds of a feather flocked together. It's all
in their same interests. That doesn't excuse that the United
States has been derelict for some time. We've known that,
you know, the ice formations are melting in the northern hemisphere,
and we should have been about, you know, getting icebreakers
(25:11):
a long time ago. We don't have anywhere in the
United States where you can build an icebreaker, to my knowledge,
we have to order them from overseas. But yeah, we're
way behind, and certainly that's what Putin wants. But what
Putin wants even more is to rebuild his version of
the old Soviet Union. And if he can do that,
(25:37):
he feels like he could control his sphere of influence
and force those countries around him. And I think you
need to read Ukraine into that. He thinks he can
force them to do his bidding. You know, Trump is
up there. He's going to bring this war criminal, this
(26:00):
indicted war criminal Putin to the United States. Luckily, he's
bringing him to Alaska, not to the White House, to
give this criminal Putine, you know, more prominence. But Putin
is indicted for the kidnapping of Ukrainian children. That is
(26:26):
a war crime. The International Community Criminal Court has issued
a warrant for his arrest. So no wonder, Peutin won't
go to Paris for this talk. No wonder. He won't
go to London for this talk. No wonder. He won't
go to Munich for this talk. No wonder. He won't
(26:48):
go to Rome for this talk. No wonder, he won't
go to Barcelona for this talk. I'm running out of
European cities that come readily to mind. Every country in
the world has a warrant out for him, except the
United States. Because Donald Trump is his buddy, So if
(27:12):
you want, and nothing's going to get solved at this
so called summit. You know Tuco Trump always chickens out.
He's going to back down again. He's going to back
down from Peuden because he has no cards to play.
As Trump puts it, he's on Peutin's side, and you
(27:41):
know the Ukrainians, President Zelensky is not going to settle
unless he's at the table, and he's certainly not going
to settle for a landswap. It's time for the ruptions
to get out of Ukraine, to get back the land
they've taken, to return the children they've kidnapped. And that's
(28:04):
the last thing that he wants to do is admit
defeat and to allow and whether he likes it or not,
Ukraine is going to become part of NATO. And all
these demands that Peuden is making, he knows they're non starters.
And Trump knows their non starters. What happened to this
(28:26):
big statement, Donald J. Trump, stop that work on day one?
Day one? Well, day one's getting off along. Donnie, Hey,
why don't you get up your fat rusty dusty and
(28:46):
stop this war because you can't because you're a fascist
yourself because you're trying to bring us a fascist government.
Let's talk about your history, little Donald. You know, when
Donnie was a little boy, his father expected his older
(29:08):
brother to really be the head of Trump Enterprises, and
Donald didn't like that. Donald, being the younger brother, always
then was doing things to get attention from his father.
Apparently his father was very unaffectionate. The only time you
(29:32):
would get appreciation or even anything approaching affection from Trump
Senior was when you made money. You know, Trump Senior
was the kind of hard working guy developer. Nothing against him.
He would actually go out onto the construction sites and
(29:56):
straightened out the stray nails he would find there and
put him back in the bin for the construction workers
to use. That's how tight he was with the buck. Well,
Donnie inherited that same tightness, but without the skills of
a builder. So when Donnie was a mean little boy
(30:19):
at the table, one of the reasons he had such
hate and disdain for his older brother was it one
night when Donald was acting up, his older brother took
and dumped a whole bull of spaghetti over little Donald's head,
and the whole family, including Daddy, laughed at little Donnie,
(30:44):
and that has eaten at little Donald. He wanted nothing
more than to get back at his older brother, which
he managed to do when he became trustee of his
niece's estate. And his niece we wondered, you know, did
(31:08):
he give his niece a fair deal in the estate?
Did Donald Trump ever pay his taxes? Well, his niece
Mary Trump, gave up her income tax returns that she
had received discovery from Uncle Donald when she claimed that
(31:29):
Uncle Donald and the aunt, who was then a federal
judge were not following the terms of the trust and
were undervaluing her interest in it. So she discovered his
income tax returns, and those income tax returns were given
(31:52):
over to the people who wrote Lucky Loser. And you
could see from those income tax returns a whole lot
about little Donald's lies. You know. He refused to give
up his income tax returns, claiming that, well, he was
under audit, but he would give him up as soon
(32:16):
as the audit was over. Well, it's been years. Where
are those income tax returns? Donald? So I made it
in here tonight. I have my fact checker, Max G.
Shepherd with me, and Max, do you have anything to say? There?
(32:41):
You go Okay. I'd like you to continue to check
the facts with me, Max, And we have two possibilities
for you. Uh. One of them is let's hear let's
hear that cue? Please thank you Max, or your other
(33:06):
possibility we don't get pulled again? Okay? Max? Are you?
Are you ready? Son? Are you ready? Okay? Let me
for those of you at home, Max, come sit, sit, sit.
(33:29):
Here's some boy. Here's him boy. Ah, let's get you
on the Let's get you on the radio on the podcast.
Here's Max g Shepherd right here. And he has a
very good nose, as most German shepherds do. He has
a great nose. And he not only not only works
(33:50):
great for me, he can smell bologney a mile away.
So let's ask Max tonight about some of these things.
In Lucky Loser, Gee, where to start? Where? Oh, let's
(34:11):
go to his military school. I love that. Here's a
guy who claims not to be able to be fit
for military service during Vietnam. Remember he said he had
bone spurs, old bone spurs, was unfit for service in Vietnam? Uh? Okay,
(34:38):
how did he get found unfit? According to Lucky Loser,
a chiropractor who heard space. In one of Donald Trump's
fire's billings run the medical excuse for bun spurs. You
(35:01):
think maybe there's a conflict of interest there, or maybe
he did have bone spurs. You might say, ow, and
I'd said maybe if he did. How he play a
base spat team at his military academy. At its high school,
(35:26):
he claimed he was one of the stop players on
his baseball team with a living record. By the way,
he also claimed that you know he was going to
be he was, he had the ability to be a
baseball star. And he even marched with the troops or
(35:49):
the military school in New York City leading the military academy.
More about that in a second. Suddenly, when it comes
time to actually go into combat and serve your country,
why the rest of us who went in are just
suckers and leaders? Because that's how Donald J. Trump has
(36:14):
referred to our military men who fought while he the
big coward, dodged service. I'm not so sure I would
have wanted Donald Trump in my unit anyway. He's the
kind of guy that you probably would shoot first for cowardice.
(36:40):
I'm sure he never would have cut it in the
Marine Corps, but he might have got a job in
a back office in the army or the Navy, or
the Coastguard, something like that. But I'm sure glad I
never was by the lucky loser in combat. So what
(37:07):
kind of other lies did Donald Trump tell? Well, you know,
he went to that military academy, and according to the
lucky loser, when it came time to have their photographs
taken for their senior album or whatever it was, Donald
(37:31):
Trump borrowed his commanding officers jacket and medals. So the
photograph that Donald J. Trump likes to tout with all
his medals on it aren't his at all. They belonged
(37:53):
to the actual young man high school boy who was
commander of that unit. But suddenly the person not in
command is leading the parade down Fifth Avenue thanks to
Donald Trump's daddy. So these are some of the lies.
(38:20):
And the biggest lie right now, in my opinion, is
the Epstein lie. Donald Trump is covering up for his
involvement with Epstein in paying for parties with underage girls
(38:43):
to have sex with them. There is no doubt in
anybody's mind that if the investigative report comes out, it
will name Donald trum trum so all of his bologney
(39:05):
about well, let's release the uh, let's release the transcript
from the grand jury is bologney because the grand jury
transcript had nothing to do with Donald Trump, and he
knows it. And the grand jury transcript cannot be released
(39:27):
except under very limited legal conditions. If Donald Trump's so powerful,
he could have that released in a minute. But he
doesn't do it. He doesn't care. The grand jury transcript
doesn't name him. But the investigative files, Let's see what's there. Donald,
(39:49):
release the entire file, release the testimony of all witnesses
who talk to the United States Attorney. The latest on
this is that Epstein's co defendant is going to the
Supreme Court with the argument now that she should not
(40:10):
that her conviction ought to be reversed, and some scholars
believe that she has an arguable defense. The issue is
whether or not the United States Attorney for the District
of Florida can bind all the other United States Attorney's
offices by his promise or statement not to prosecute other crimes.
(40:39):
There's a whole lot of ambiguity in the statement. There's
a whole lot of ambiguity in the law, and we
shall see what happens. But if that woman has her
part of her conviction overturned, that doesn't mean that young
(41:00):
women weren't taken in and coerced and raped. That doesn't
mean that that Donald Trump's name isn't in the file.
Why should his own attorney go down and interview this
woman in secret? Why isn't there a tape of that
(41:21):
to be released? Why is this co defendant woman sent
now to a minimum security prison where she has it
so easy? I thought Donald Trump was hell on child molesters,
Yet he puts her in a minimum security holding where
(41:47):
she can play tennis and golf. Yeah, Donald, what are
you hiding? What are you hiding? Max? What's your opinion?
Is Donald Donald J? Trump guilty of something? You think?
(42:11):
You think? What do you think of it? Max?
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Yep?
Speaker 5 (42:18):
Good boy? He smells bs. So all of us need
to be vigilant all the time. You know there is
a fascist takeover attempted in this country. One of the
(42:38):
things we need to have investigated is the Heritage Society.
It is the most anti American, anti democratic small D
institution I have ever seen exist in America since the
(43:01):
nineteen thirties. They are openly racist, that are attached clearly
to the nationalist what Christian nationalist movement in this country.
(43:22):
The Heritage Society consists of the skeleton of the old
John Bird Society beefed up by millions of dollars. They
now have the capacity to get away with anything they want.
(43:43):
They put three liars onto the Supreme Court, three liars
who were recommended by anti abortion factions who claimed they
weren't anti abortion. Give me a break. And then when
they testified before Congress, they rifully withheld information. And that
(44:11):
is a form of perjury. They committed perjury to Congress
by saying, pardon me, by saying, gee, I can't give
you an opinion on if we Wade were challenged because
(44:32):
that might come before me, and I can't comment on
a case that might come before me. Well, that's up good,
and then you test at the same time. But I
respect precedents. When you know that you're withholding that information
(44:54):
of the truth from the American people, that you're up
there for one reason and one reason only, and that
is to overturn Roe v. Wade and not replace it
with any other women's right to choose. So the first
thing these fascists was to take away women's rights in
(45:18):
this country. And now bilder JD. Vance, the one who
claims that he's a combat hero, but not he never
saw a shot fired in anger. He never heard a
shot fired in anger. He never commanded a combat unit.
(45:40):
So don't claim that you were a great marine there. J. D.
Speaker 10 (45:47):
Advance, who's tent to you, who somehow joined the.
Speaker 5 (45:58):
Filerless society and a hebded society. You no more he'll
be than the man in the moon, which you are,
as a social climber who will do anything to get
ahead to please your fascist master Donald Trump.
Speaker 10 (46:19):
So JD.
Speaker 5 (46:20):
Vance and these boys are willing to do anything. Oh
and and Vance's latest thing is he wants it. Basically,
he doesn't think women ought to have the right to vote.
He's basically gone over to the what Christian nationalist racist movement.
So are women out there, if you think it's bad
(46:43):
now that you don't have a right to your bodies,
just wait till these fascists that keeps you naked and
pregnant and chained to the bed, because they've already legalized
rape and incest in several states. Effectively, that's what they've
done by not prosecuting it. By not allowing abortions for
(47:05):
any reason, they allow incestuous people to go free. So
that's an open invitation to all of you down there
with with no teeth, having sex, with your doors and
(47:27):
your cuts. That's an open invitation to you now to
just go ahead and do what you want to do
because you can't be prosecuted for it. And they got
to be forced to have the baby, and you have
to pay no child support. You know, they start with
(47:51):
the woman, and these liars are not going to rest
until they attack the rest of us. Now says that
women basically should not have the right to vote. I
remember my mom telling me about the first time she voted.
I believe it was nineteen twenty six, first time she
(48:16):
got the right to vote, she said she cried walking
out of that voting booth, just knowing that she had
the ability to decide her own fate. And by the way,
fate parents and grandparents leave us here in California, that's
(48:39):
the finest university system in America, the finest public university
system in the world. The University of California and the
California State Colleges cost our parents and grandparents a bundle,
(49:04):
but they visited into the UC and state college system today,
which has the love tuition and the highest standards of
any universities in the world, and the like and advance
(49:25):
and the Heritage Society. I want to tip down the
reverse up the advances we've made and go back to
some fantasy world where tariffs supported the United States. That's
(49:48):
just absurd. If you take all the tariffs that they've proposed,
it still leaves multi trillion dollar loss in paying America's bills.
And where they're going to get that. They're going to
get that with tax cuts for the bisonaires and stealing
(50:13):
up services from regular people. They've medica our medicaid, pardon me,
the medicare. I have no doubt that they've attacked the
Vallins are reporting that they're not able to get appoints
(50:34):
at the VA. Yet Trump says he loves veterans. He
doesn't love veterans. He has great disdain for anybody who
served our country. All this, all these rants off, these
strips coming from these people, and right now it is
(51:02):
to cover up the e Steen scandal. J Trump releases
the investigative file of the Department of Justice, including that
from the state of Florida and any others. He's obstructing justice,
(51:27):
and he's doing everything he can now to change the subject,
lying to us about all this crime in DC. You know,
I was in DC a month and a half ago.
I've never felt safer in any town in my life.
There was a cop on every corner. There's bomb sniffing
dogs out in the morning. And I wrote public transportation
(51:51):
for much of the time I was there. I take
the books and the train. Well. I took the train
to get in and out of town. I took the
around d C. I did not feel in the slightest
bit threatened. I was in downtown d C, right there
at Congress. There was you know, there was simply no threat.
(52:19):
There were certainly homeless people there right in front of
the Trump hotel that he ran into the ground, by
the way, those people sleeping on the benches out there.
I'd come out of the waldorfice store with my extra
(52:41):
caissot and cup of coffee that they so kindly gave
me for my expensive breakfast I enjoyed, and I'd give
it to a homeless guy laying on the bench right
outside the Waldorf Astoria. Now that's about five blocks from
(53:05):
the Capitol, five long blocks and just a few blocks
from the White House. Why didn't you clean it up then, Donald,
if it was such an emergency. Yeah? And what are
you gonna do with this homeless guy, Donald? You're gonna
put him in Uh, You're gonna put him in jail
for what? For being homeless? I doubt it? So, Max.
(53:36):
What's your overall opinion of Donald Donald Trump tonight?
Speaker 4 (53:46):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (53:54):
And are you gonna be Max, who you're gonna vote
for next time? You're gonna vote Democratic? Tell me you
won't be fooled again? Max? Good boy? Okay, Well, I
(54:16):
hope somebody has learned something from my rant. I have
a couple more minutes here tonight, but I want to
I want to encourage everybody to get involved in this fight.
If you haven't already seen the film God and Country,
shame on you. It's streaming for free online. All you
(54:43):
gotta do is take your phone or your little laptop
or your little piece at home and go or Siri.
If you're and of the Apple persuasion God and Country,
(55:09):
put God and Country into your search engine. It's going
to come up. It's free. If you have Prime, you
can go to Amazon Prime and you can find God
and Country on there. It runs about an hour and
(55:31):
twenty minutes, and it tells you how the religious right,
how the nationalist movement, which is related to the John
Birt Society and the Heritage Society, is supportin Donald Trump
(55:52):
because they think that the guy is going to bring
on armageddon, and that at Armageddon, they, as Christians are
going to be miraculously lifted up to be Jesus. What
rest of us are destroyed? You know, I want to
(56:17):
tell those losers you need to look around and see
how many times the end of the world has been
prophesied before. You've been brainwashed that funny nationalist church in
Riverside support your fascist candidate for governor. What you're at
(56:44):
one of the other many churches around this country that
seem to have been fooled into thinking that Donald J.
Trump is a messenger of Jesus. You got it wrong.
You've been brainwashed, You've been lied to. You know. I'm
a Christian and I can tell you that the church
(57:12):
I go to does not end in Jesus. Jesus came
here as Prince of peace. When you ask my Jesus,
what's the important, what's the most important thing. He said,
love thy neighbor as thyself, not hate thy neighbor. Look
(57:35):
thy neighbor as thyself. And the Apostle asked him.
Speaker 10 (57:38):
But who my neighbor?
Speaker 5 (57:41):
And the good Samaritan as you. The Samaritans and the
Jews were strict enemies. And the Samaritan came upon a
Jew on the red had been set upon by bandits,
and notwithstanding that the two of them were there, Trudes
(58:04):
were enemies. He took pity on this Jew as a
human being, and as the Bible teaches us, he bound
up his wounds, and he gave him shelter, and he
asked nothing in return. That's the message of Jesus Christ.
(58:25):
Not Jesus, not Jesus. It works around with a nine millimeter,
that's not it. So, ladies and gentlemen, I want to
leave you with that thought tonight that we're in grave
danger and if we don't get on the ball and
start to contribute to this anti fascist movement, we're going
(58:48):
to lose this country. So read for yourselves, do what's necessary.
And I want to thank the sponsorship that we've had
from some Democrats, and also look for others. And so
(59:08):
this is Alan Bowman your house for The Reformer. Thank
you you for being with us, and look forward to
Senior again next week when we'll have a guest host
and bringing you The Reformer and the Democratic response.
Speaker 6 (59:24):
Oh bad, damn.
