chair yet again tomorrow, which means this will probably be
another thirty minute version of the Right Side. If you
ever wonder how to tell if we're doing a shorter episode,
(06:59):
if you hear all all the ads before the intro,
good chance that this is going to be a shorter
episode of the Right Side than the standard hour long episode.
I debated waiting till Saturday to record, but I just
I don't know what my schedule is going to intel
for Saturday, so I thought it was better to go
ahead and come to you tonight. Also, I want to
(07:23):

We are a bi weekly podcast, so make sure you

share link again on our Facebook page real soon, but
you guys can get your right Side merch right there
as well as a couple of other fun T shirt
(08:52):
designs that we have out there. Now, what do we
want to talk about tonight? Well, this whole Stephen Cole
Bear thing continues to make waves. One questions while CBS
didn't just go ahead and cancel him out right, and
yet they're giving him a full year send off. But
that's not stopping the left from trying to make Stephen
(09:15):
Colbert into a martyr. They are acting like this was
somehow breaking freedom of speech, which it is not. CBS
is a company and they have the right to cancel shows.
They cancel shows all the time. Sometimes their shows I
enjoy and I hate to see them go away. But
(09:37):
those actors and writers aren't then painted into this picture
that they are somehow a martyr. In those instances, we
just accept the fact that the ratings weren't strong enough.
We accept the fact that the cost associated with the
show wasn't strong enough to offset the low viewership. But
(10:01):
in the case of Stephen Colbert, if you watch the
way that every single liberal in Hollywood is acting, you
would think they canceled the highest rated show in the
history of television merely because he spoke out against the president. Meanwhile,
CBS still has a nightly news program that excuse the left.
(10:25):
Most of their programming is still going to skewed to
the left. But they're going to continue down this path
where they're trying to make him a martyr. And of
course Colbert, being the guy that he is, he's leaning
into the martyrdom, making statements about, Oh, it's great to
not have to live in fear with what I say anymore.
(10:46):
You've never lived in fear of what you said, or
if she wouldn't have said some of the things said
in the first place. You've got his buddy John Stewart,
who's one of the ones screaming a big middle finger
to CBS. You've got former laid show host David Letterman
(11:07):
coming out and attacking Jamie Lee Curtis saying that this
will not silence our voice. Here's the thing, nobody's trying
to silence your voice. We understand that you are going
to continue to spit out brain dead opinions that Hollywood
elite often spit out. You uneducated ninnies who want to
(11:32):
continue to pretend that you're smarter than you actually are.
Stephen Colbert, I'll give credit smart guy. He sees what's happening,
so he's trying to lean into it. He's not trying
to lean into it to save the late show. He's
trying to lean into it to set up his next job,
his next gig, which, as I've said before, my prediction
(11:55):
still remains that he will be a future hope on
an MSNBCCNN, one of those very very left leaning shows.
What they don't want to hear. And this is the
problem that the left doesn't want to accept. They don't
want to admit to themselves, and that's that these late
(12:17):
night shows, the reason why they're hemorrhaging viewers is because
people don't turn into those type shows to be lectured
to about politics. They typically turned into Johnny Carson or
Jay Leno or Arsenio Hall. They turned into them for escapism,
(12:41):
to hear from these same Hollywood actors about what projects
they're working on. I can tell you this much, I
don't care about any of these dim witz opinions on
politics because I know they're uneducated buffoons. Sure there are
some that went to college got degrees outside of acting,
(13:08):
but the most of them didn't step foot through a
college door. Most of them have never really excelled at
studying any of the things they talk about. They want
to lecture us about the things we need to do. Meanwhile,
they do the exact opposite themselves. Stephen Colbert was not
canceled because they wanted to express his voice, because again,
(13:34):
if his voice was being suppressed, if that was the
entire goal by CBS, then guess what. They wouldn't give
him a year. They would have just gone ahead and
canceled the show and that would have been the end
of it. But that's not what they're doing. They've given
him a whole year sinned off, and we're supposed to
(13:55):
believe that some massive affront against them of speech. It's not.
It's just one of those things that is laughable. When
you watch the people that left try to make a martyr,
and it's the same people that are screaming the loudest
right now about the fact that Stephen Colbert is off
(14:19):
the air now or are going to be off the air.
He's not off the air now. As we already pointed out.
They wanted you to believe that he is a victim,
that this is just an injustice, and it's not. The
bottom line is, if Stephen Colbert was bringing in the
(14:41):
money to CBS, he would still have a job after
May of next year. The truth is he's not. There
been reports, and again I've not confirmed them, but I
have seen them, that he's lost anywhere up to forty
million dollars. That's unsustainable. Now, I understand the left doesn't
(15:05):
like that word. They don't like to think that money
doesn't just grow on trees. Colbert has a very dedicated
fan base, and they are the hyper left. I can't
tell you when I've ever turned on The Late Show
with Stephen Kembert. Maybe his premiere episode, Maybe I turned
(15:29):
that on out of curiosity. He had a long run,
but people have been turning off not just him, but
late night television. It droves Jimmy Kimmel one time, somebody
that valued comedy is an unwatchable boar who continues to
(15:53):
just stay on this particular left rant. He's not been
canceled yet ABC's keeping him going, Jimmy Fallon. He's probably
the closest to the old school talk show host. The
guy that follows him, that Seth Meyer is idiot. He
(16:15):
is a true leftist, unwatchable individual. So it's not like
these liberals don't have other outlets that they can go
to to get their liberal idiocy. They can turn on MSNBC,
they can turn on Jimmy Kimball and they're gonna still
(16:37):
be catered to. Yet they cannot accept the fact that
Stephen Colbert is going away because the audiences were just
not there. They were rejecting him. I've seen some say,
and again I've not looked this up myself because quite frankly,
(16:57):
I don't care. But I've seen some liberals claim that
Stephen Colbert was the highest rated late night talk show host.
And if that is true, well, you know what, he
was the highest rated out of a group that's not
doing very well because again, people are rejecting that format
(17:19):
in what is supposed to be an entertainment show, an
escapist show. It's not supposed to be a show where
we're being lectured to. When you're filling up your guest
list with left leaning politicians, you're no longer someone that
(17:41):
should be on the prompt the late night major network
format anymore, because that's not what these shows were ever
meant to be. It's not what it was under Johnny Carson,
Jay Leno, it wasn't that under David Letterman. Back then
they were more entertainment programs. But Colbert is one of
(18:05):
the worst offenders of ignoring the entertainment aspect of it
and going straight into his left leaning politics. But like
I said, now, the left wants to try to make
him a martyr. And the reason for that people is simple.
They want to make him a martyr because they need
a martyr. They need something they can point to because
(18:26):
again their standard stick of Orange Man, bad Trump evil
hasn't worked the way that they want it to. They've
got an opportunity now over this fiasco with the Epstein list.
They have a massive opportunity. Even though they don't want
(18:47):
to see that list come out either, because that can
promise you they won't like some of the names on
it either. But they feel like if they can just
paint or poor Stephen Cope as a martyr, as this
beacon of free speech, that maybe somehow they can corner
(19:12):
sympathy turn that sympathy into votes. You've got midterm elections
coming up next year. See, you've got things that are
coming down the pipeline. I've been watching this whole Cobert thing,
and I've talked about it. It's just it's idiocy because again,
(19:33):
this is where their focus is. Their focuses on a
millionaire late night television hopx. You know, again the people
who claimed that they'refore the average person that they claim
to be for the middle class. But they're crying over
a millionaire having his show canceled, a millionaire that even
(19:56):
if he doesn't go find another network and start a
new job, will still be okay. Meanwhile, you know, when
somebody gets laid off from their job that doesn't pay
anywhere close to Steve Cobert, they don't care about that.
(20:18):
They didn't care about all the people that lost their
jobs during the Biden administration. We saw that the liberals
they find these false heroes, Stephen Colbert's false hero because
I'm going to assure you he would do nothing if
he saw Hugh in trouble. Average person on the street,
(20:39):
he won't care. He's in his ivory tower, he doesn't care.
He gets paid a ridiculous sum of money to set
up there and talk trash about the President of the
United States. He's a boy. He's one of those folks that,
quite frankly, I'm glad that we're moving on from. He's
(21:03):
one of those people that, quite frankly, I think it's
a good thing that we no longer have to put
up with. I mean, we've got a lot of things happening.
I mean, we've got a controversy now involving the Trump
Russia collusion case that fingers are being pointed at former
(21:27):
President Barack Obama. We've got all kinds of stuff happening
in our country. But their main focus, instead of being
outraged by that, they found a mortar they can make.
They can maybe distract from that case. Maybe by doing
that they'll be able to dispus from paying attention. Because
(21:51):
we're all talking about Stephen Colbert. We're not talking about
the news of the day. We're not talking about actual
substitutive news. We're talking about a talk show host, one
that wasn't that good. Maybe you liked them, but he
(22:14):
doesn't even rank in the tops echelon a former talk
late night talk show host. Again, we'll be continuing to watch,
but I mean, we've got this case where we're finding
out that there are allegations that the Obama administration officials
(22:35):
politicized intelligence and laid the groundwork for a year's long
coup against President Donald Trump after he won the twenty
sixteen election. Again, we're going to have to continue to
watch because this is news. This is news, this is
(22:58):
something we definitely want to continue to actually, but again,
instead of focusing on that news, they want you to
focus on their new fake martyr in Stephen Colbert. They
want you to be distracted by that. It's insane, people.
(23:21):
This is the country we live in. This is the
country that we are continuing to live in to where
this is the distraction the Hollywood elite who are all outraged.
How many of them were actually friends with Stephen Cobert
(23:42):
in the first place. Sure they went on a show,
but were they truly friends or is this just another
opportunity for them to grandstand in front of a camera.
Because we know Hollywood actors loved them, some them. They
love attention, they love the spotlight, so they can jump
(24:02):
on this and they can say whatever they want. And
of course, the Stephen Colbert's show is going to end
next year regardless of anything that they do or say.
It's the end. People. But they won't you to believe
(24:27):
in their false martyrs. We've seen this before. We've seen
them latch onto a person or a thing that didn't
deserve the martyrdom and attempt to do that. Sometimes they've
had success with it. I don't think Stephen but co
par is going to be a success for him. I
think this is the wrong thing for them to focus on.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
At all.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
If he had the ratings, he would stay on the television.
If he had the ratings, CBS would not be canceling
the laid Show next year. And if this was simply
to suppress his voice, then he wouldn't be given almost
a whole year before they show him the door. It's
(25:17):
a false flag. It's always been a false flag. And
instead of falling for the false flag, maybe just maybe
you should sit down and understand what's going on. Maybe
look at some of the other stories that have more meaning.
(25:40):
But again, we want to pretend that CBS, a liberal
leaning network, got rid of Stephen Colbert to silence. His
voice doesn't pass the smell test and the slightest people.
That's something that again one of my other co workers,
(26:01):
Sean Murphy, he's our executive editor, and he he wrote
a column last week or I think it was in
yesterday's paper actually, so it's it's up now where he
talked about the ear hair test. You know how certain
things just made the hairs on his ear stand up.
And it's a interesting point he or a thing that
(26:26):
he pointed out, and it's this is one of those
things that wouldn't pass the ear hair test and the
slightest because again, this is this is what they do.
I'm dedicating this show to that important I'll be honest
with you. Since I guest hosting Chris McDaniel's America to More,
I'm trying to save some of the juicier content for
(26:49):
that particular show. I was going to go another direction tonight,
but when I looked at just some of the things
I was reading from Hollywood elites from other late night
here's the other thing they did the other night. All
the other late night hosts in Unison appeared on The
(27:12):
Late Show to show their support for Stephen Colbert. I
remember back in the day Jay Leno and David Letterman
couldn't stand each other. There was true competition. Now it's
their liberal brethren, so we must stand up. And there's
no difference between the shows anymore because they're all the
(27:35):
same thing where they go off on these long, insulting
political rants. Probably the best one to watch is probably
Jimmy Kimball's when he goes on vacation and he brings
in his guest host, assuming they're not liberal ninnies that
he brings in. That might be the only time that
(27:58):
you get a feel for what old talk shows were
like in the first place. And it's benefited by the
fact that the main host is not there. The sooner
they realize that we don't go to the movies, we
don't turn on television shows to be preached to the better.
(28:19):
I'm not saying that Hollywood movies haven't always had hidden
messages in there, or maybe you could view it a
certain way, but now they club you over the head
with it to the point that we will jump on
the that's so woke. Bandwagon before we ever even investigate
(28:40):
if it is in fact woke. And it's so easy
for that mob to mentality to take over and just
believe that it is a woke program because we've been
told so, and we can see the proof in the
pudden when we look at shows like Stephen Colbert's Again, people,
(29:02):
this is not hard to figure out what happened. It's
not hard in the slightest. He was losing money for
the network. His ratings weren't what they wanted, so they
moved on. And they're giving them a whole year to
say goodbye. Yeah, that sounds like suppressing his speech. They
(29:28):
hadn't turned his microphone on yet, even though shots are
being fired at CBS. They're giving him till the end
of May next year before he's gone. But yeah, that's
your martyr. That's the guy that they're just trying to
take his voice away. Give me a break, you brain
(29:50):
dead liberals. It's just insane. It's just again. I don't
know what more to say here on this particular topic
because I've said enough, and I know the people that
need to hear this the most, those liberal idiots out
(30:10):
there that are currently sharing the memes that are stand
with Colbert or whatever nonsense they're putting out. I'm sure
they're going to come up with a ribbon for it.
I'm sure there'll be a save Colbert ribbon or some
other type of stupidity that they'll do. But they're only
making themselves look foolish. This is not a case of
(30:34):
his speech being suppressed. Are there examples of a network
getting read of a show to suppress a voice? Sure
this isn't one of them. And it doesn't come close
to passing the ear hair test, not even remotely close.
Thank you for that one. Murph Again, why not pay
(31:00):
attention to some of the other news out there? Why
not pay attention to some of the stories out there
that we can actually ask questions about that we might
actually want to discuss and have true dialogue on. I mean,
(31:23):
it's crazy, And don't worry. There are going to be
other shows that are going to scream that they're in trouble.
I mean, shows like the Views still exist, but it's
Donald Trump's pressing all liberal voices. Don't think so because
(31:45):
that show still exists, do they even understand what's actually happened?
I mean, again, we're still getting revelations about Joe Biden
and his presidency and maybe how little he did. We
just got that unhinged grant from his son, Hunter Biden.
(32:11):
But instead we're focusing on a felled late night talk
show and that's what it is. Fortunately for me, I
don't have to worry about ratings. I will do the
right side as long as I'm willing to record content.
(32:33):
And Stephen Cobert, he could start a podcast, he could
do that. There are going to be so many things.
He's going to find a way to continue to make
money and his fans will flock to it. And meanwhile
CBS will be able to free up that real estate
to get a show on that might actually make them
money instead of costing them money. It's just called good business.
(32:58):
One O one people. And I understand the Left hates
the fact that logic and reason might rule the day
because they hate logic and reason. Instead, they want to
try to paint fake martyr out of this guy. Look,
(33:21):
I will say that I think Stephen Cobert is wanted
a smart individual. That's why he's going to lean into this.
That's why he's going to completely lean into it. He's
going to hold his hands out like the ego maniac
that he is and say yes, I am your martyr,
worship me, and several brain dead liberals will. It's sad,
(33:49):
but it is what it is. People. Oh goodness. Next week,
hopefully we'll get back on track with a full hour
long episode of the Right Side Radio program. This week
being cut short because again, as I said at the
start of the show, tomorrow, I will be recording the
new episode of Christmas Daniels in America. We will be
(34:13):
getting back to the swing there. It'll either be me
by myself, maybe me with Jim Sigelski, or maybe I'll
have two other guests on. It's up in the air.
How we're going to record it. It really depends on
what time the production crew can get here. I would
(34:33):
I'm thinking that we're going to go live at three
point thirty tomorrow, but I will I will not know
that for sure. I believe it until on the morning.
So remember to check out Christmas Daniels America, check out
the new episode of Morning Coffee with the Right Side
on Friday morning when that one drops. Of course, check
out the new episode of Missing Link Jones County when
(34:57):
it drops next week. I believe it'll be next in
that episode becomes available, so again, so much that you
guys can listen to. There's so much going on with
the Right Side Radio Program and our work and different
shows that we're doing, so make sure that's checking all out.
