Speaker 2 (00:28):
It's kay to Pearl River Resort. The question about when
did they actually know that Joe Biden might have some
cognitive issues still rains, and now we're hearing from Joe
(00:49):
Biden's former chief of staff, Ron Klain. He told House
investigators that Hillary Clinton actually approached him with concern learns
about Joe Biden's viability by twenty twenty four. Clain spoke
with the staff on the House Oversight Committee for over
(01:12):
five hours on Thursday, as Committee Chairman James Comber, the
Republican from Kentucky, continues to probe whether top Biden aids
concealed signs of mental decline in the president. A source
familiar with his voluntary interview. Told Fox News Digital that
(01:33):
Clain believed Biden was mentally sharp enough to serve as
president and was not too old to run. But the
ex Secretary of State and former Biden national security advisor
Jake Sullivan both approached rob Ron Klain stating they believed
Joe Biden was not politically viable months before he dropped
(01:57):
out of his re election bid in July of twenty
twenty four. Sullivan told Kane that Biden was less effective
in twenty twenty four compared to twenty twenty two. These
were said it's not immediately clear if Biden's mental octitude
was the reasoning for their doubts, nor if they made
(02:21):
the case to claim together or separately, but it's a
significant indictment coming from top Democrats of Biden in general,
long before concerns about its fitness for the office were
made public within the Democrat Party. This is a issue
(02:44):
we're going to continue to be monitoring. Now. Again, you've
heard me talk about how much I think a lot
of these hearings are pointless because they never go anywhere.
But they served merely as a mechanism for the politicians
holding the hearings to say, hey, look at me, look
at me. I asked tough questions, but at the same time,
(03:05):
there are a lot of people still asking the questions
because we saw things with our own eyes, and it's
hard to imagine that the people within Biden's camp weren't
seeing hit more frequently than we were. I mean, when
you've got a guy up there that was trying to
shake hands with people that weren't there, that were acknowledging
(03:30):
world leaders who had been dead for thirty years and
acknowledging him like they're the current world leader, you understand
that there was something going on. And I don't say
any of that to make fun of Joe Biden. I
don't say any of that to attack him. It's no
(03:54):
secret that I disliked his politics, but I'm not sitting
up here making fun of the man and want to
point this out because we saw it. We saw it
with our own eyes. We understood what was right before us.
And yes, as we watch and witness and see a
lot of this stuff carry on, we knew that they
(04:18):
were covering something up. We knew. And then, of course,
Joe Biden famously stepped on that debate stage against Donald
Trump and looked lost and out of sorts, and it
just wasn't It was not a good look for the
former president at all. And then not too long later,
(04:41):
he's out of the race. Not by his own will,
he was forced out of the race by the Democrats.
Make no mistake about that, no matter what they try
to tell you. The Democrats forced the man out of
the race because he had no desire, no interest in
leaving that race. Now, as we sit back and we
(05:04):
see books written, we see more details come out, we're
starting to understand that there was a lot of There
was a lot of things that they kept from us,
they covered up because again, it was more important for
(05:24):
them to maintain the office than it was for them
to be honest with the American people. And I'm going
to be clear here real quick, and it's going to
make some people angry. If the shoe was in the
other foot, I think the Republicans would have probably done
the same thing. I believe that that they would have
(05:45):
done the same thing to cover up in their attempt
to maintain the office. And when you look at things
and you understand that, you also can look at it
and say, well, they could have just gone ahead and
announced he wasn't running earlier and given us a primary
and let the Democrats actually go through a selection process.
(06:07):
But they were afraid of that process and the chaos
that sometimes comes along with the primary process. Plus, they
also understood the power of the incumbency. The simple fact
that Joe Biden was the incumbent they felt might be
enough to help elevate them. And I think they felt
(06:28):
they could at least keep it covered up until after
he got elected, and then something could have happened and
he could have stepped aside. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't
keep it hidden from folks, and Joe Biden stepped on
that debate stage, and at that point there was no
(06:50):
doubt that Joe Biden was not. Altogether, it was sad
what the Democrats did and how they treated him. No
matter how you feel about Joe Biden, it was wrong
how they treated him. At the end of the day,
they should have not kept willing him out there. They
(07:10):
should have moved on. But because of their fear and
they're desired to hold onto the White House over the
best interest of the country, they ended up losing not
just Joe Biden, but losing the White House altogether, and
(07:31):
Like I said, a lot of us are thankful for
their decision, but at the same time, we still want
to investigate because it is fascinating because if he was
slipping to that degree, who was making the decisions in
the White House? And that continues to be the big
question that a lot of us are asking. And we'll
(07:52):
get some answers, I'm sure never we'll get nuggets like this,
but we're not going to get in true answers at
the end of the day, and that's just the truth
of the situation. This has been morning Coffee with the
Right Side, and I'm your host, Jack Fairchilds and we're
(08:14):
