Speaker 2 (00:32):
Tomorrow be election day for Mississippi Senate District forty two.
People will go to the polls and decide whether or
not they want to vote for the status quo or
they want to vote for change. I won't get to
vote in this election because current State Senator Robin Robinson
(00:55):
decided to draw a circle around Chris McDaniel's house. We
all know that Chris was her predecessor and famously ran
against current Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hoseman for that office, and
Delbert Hoseman decided to weaponize redistricting and draw Chris out
(01:18):
of the district. This is a as I referred to
it on the latest episode of Chris McDaniels in America.
This was political malpractice. In my opinion, Robin Robinson could
have voted no. She admitted as much to me in
(01:38):
a conversation in an interview that I did with her.
Now I've gotten questions from people why am I getting
involved in District forty two race. There are a couple
of reasons. One, I think Robin Robinson gave us two
terrible votes that voted against the people of Jones County,
(01:58):
one being the Senate district redistricting, and two the redistricting
of our judicial system, our circuit clerks, our circuit judicial district.
Both of these hurt Johns County and made them weaker.
Both of these votes were bad votes. She should have
(02:22):
been fighting against them. She should have been leading the
charge to make sure this didn't happen. But she didn't fight.
She didn't say a word. She just went right along
with what leadership told her to do. She's been told that, well,
we had to vote this way or else the courts
(02:43):
were going to just course their lines upon us. This
I've learned is untrue. She could have voted no, She
could have fought against it. She could have submitted counter proposals.
She did none of that. She just went along with it.
Chris had not raised any money, he had not said
(03:06):
anything about wanting to run for his old seat again.
But had he wanted to, he would have won that
seat easily, and I think Robin knew that, so this
also benefited her as well. It's frustrating and it is
beyond my comprehension that this was allowed to happen. Robin
(03:33):
Robinson may be a nice person, but she's a bad senator.
And she doesn't have Jones County's people. She doesn't have.
There are people in her thoughts. She has herself and
her thoughts. She has what leadership wants in her thoughts.
(03:54):
She definitely doesn't have our best interest in her thoughts,
or else she would have stood up and fought against this,
but she didn't, and she was hoping nobody would notice.
She was hoping that this would just go by without
a whisper, without anyone saying anything. And then on election day,
(04:17):
when you showed up to vote and found out you'd
been drawn out, that would be the first time you'd
learn about it. But thank goodness, were got out. Don
Hardness is the firsting running against her, and I wholeheartedly
endorsed non hardness because I believe this is a good man.
I've known Don for eleven years. Her people are now
(04:39):
trying to accuse those of who are pointing out the
truth as lying, but they can't tell us how we're lying.
They've accused Don of lying, They've attacked him, and it's
completely out of desperation. They know they're in trouble. They
know that there's a large portion of Jones County in
(05:00):
that are mad. Is Judge dal Williamson lying when he says,
how you hurt our judicial system here in Jones County?
Is Chris McDaniel lying when he says that you drew
a circle around his house. It doesn't matter if she
didn't technically draw the lines, because that's the other excuse
(05:22):
she's trying to use. Well, it was done in a committee.
I didn't have a say, Haguash. You might not have
drawn the lines, but you approved them, you voted for them.
Maybe it's because you just didn't understand, or maybe you
believed to lie that leadership told you. But the bottom
line is you should have known better. If you're gonna
(05:43):
sit in that seat, if you're going to represent the
people of Jones County and you see something that fundamentally
changes Jones County and you throw a lot of us
into a Democrats district and leave us with no voice.
That's absurd, Robin, and it's obscene. You committed political malpractice.
(06:09):
You did that. So for those of you who are
questioning why I got involved in this District forty two
Senate race, it's because it should be my district and
you stole that voice away from me. And because you
stole that voice away from me, I have gotten involved.
(06:30):
And I hope and I pray that Don Hartness beats
you tomorrow. I hope that that's what happens. Not because
I dislike Robin Robinson, not because I have ill will
towards her. It's because of her votes, plain and simple.
She's also walked around trying to say that she has
the most conservative voting record in the Mississippi State Senate,
(06:54):
and that's patently false. She does not. I can assure
you that as long as Kathy Chisholm and Angela Hill
are in the Mississippi State Senate, Robin Robinson will not
have the most conservative record in the Mississippi State Senate.
She's not even close to those two. She voted for
(07:15):
Medicare expansion. She voted e raise your gas tax under
the false pretense that they were abolishing the income tax.
She has not represented the best interest of the people
of Jones County nor the people of the state of Mississippi.
(07:36):
She has represented the best interest of leadership and individuals
that could somehow benefit from her votes. That's what she's done.
And it's sad, it's disgusting, and we need to send
a message. We need to send her a message, and
(07:57):
we need to send the establishment a message, and we
need to elect non hardness to the Mississippi State Senate
District forty two. I hope you guys will consider that
this has been morning Coffee with the Right Side, and
