Speaker 2 (00:32):
Last night, we saw justice done here in my home county.
Here in Ellisville, Mississippi, Jones County, we saw justice. My
friend Don Hardness was elected to be our next state
senator for District forty two. If you've been listening to

(00:55):
this program, you know that there was some underhanded tree
stune that led to this race having to be contested
in the first place. The incumbent Senator, Robin Robinson. She
voted right there with Delbert Hosman to draw a circle

(01:16):
around Chris McDaniel's home to make sure he was stuck
in a Democrat strong district and couldn't win. She thought
that she was just going to be able to walk
back in no matter what. But Don knocked on multiple doors.

(01:36):
He wouldn't be outworked. He went out there and made
a difference. Of course, Chris McDaniel also proved his influence
is still pretty strong, as he helped pace Don when
he got involved. He also helped a race up in
De Soto be decided for the good guys as well.

(01:58):
This a good night for me, someone who you know,
has been very jaded by the political process, who didn't
believe in the electorate as much as I guess I
should have. Because the people of Jones County answered the call.

(02:20):
Non didn't just win last night. He buried the competition
with over seventy percent of the vote. He won the race.
It's exciting people because again I know Don, and I
know the passion that he has, and I know how
hard he'll work, and I know he won't be co

(02:42):
opted by the establishment the way his predecessor was. At
the end of the day, her record was something she
couldn't run from. She tried to throw out accusation of lies,
She tried to spin it away, She tried I had
to post a false most conservative record in the Senate

(03:06):
narrative that did not gain traction with the voters. I'm
happy for my friend Don Hartness. While I was out
delivering newspapers, I was unable to attend Don's victory party,
but I spoke to him. Matter of fact, when I

(03:28):
called him, I think I was the first one to
tell him that there was no path for her. He
had won, and I get it until you see something
officially called. I understand why you're a little skeptical, but
I knew there was no path any longer. So congratulations

(03:49):
to my friend Don Hartness. Thank you Chris McDaniel for
getting involved. Thank you to my boss Jim Sigelski, my
co worker Josh Guru Nichols for helping shine a light
on what they had done with this Gerrymander district. I
wrote my own column as well, and I am happy

(04:12):
to have been a part of making sure that a
message is sent loud and clear to Delbert Houseman and
those establishment cronies in Jackson. The Jones County doesn't tolerate
such that. We will stand up and we'll send a message. Don.

(04:35):
I know that you're up for this task, but it's
going to get harder because again the establishment is going
to put you in a box. They're going to do
everything in their power to try to get you to
play ball with them, and when you refuse, they'll put
you in a box. I know you'll gladly go to

(04:58):
that box because I have no doubt out that you're
not going to be bought off by the establishment. Hard
work does pay off. Good people are successful. And I
say that without saying that Robin's a bad person. She's
just someone who was easily controlled by the establishment and

(05:21):
because of that, she lost her seat. But here's the thing,
it was never her seat. It's not Don's seat now either.
It's our seat. It's the people's seat. And thank you
to the people of District forty two who rallied and
gave me a voice, because again I'm one of the

(05:42):
victims the glateral damage that was moved into a Democrat
controlled district. But one thing I know for sure is
Jones County has a center. Will represent all of us,
not just the ones in forty two. He'll represent me
and the rest of us that got jerry mandered out

(06:02):
of the district as part of the weaponized redistricting nonsense
that Delbert Hosman put forth. So yes, I celebrate the
victory of my friend Don Hardness. I plan on having
Don as a guest on this week's flagship episode of

(06:24):
The Right Side radio program, So look forward to an
interview with Don on that episode, assuming he has time.
But I'm so excited because again, I needed to see
something that restored my faith in our electorate. Even in
my wildest imagination of Don winning, I didn't have him

(06:48):
garnering over seventy percent of the vote, but he did.
And that is why I say this is a message.
This is a referendum, and Don needs to go there
understanding that we need conservative leadership and I believe that
he will. I believe that he will stand and fight
the good fight for the people. He won't be co

(07:11):
opted by the establishment. Congratulations to Senator elect Don Hardness
for winning this hard fought battle. This has been morning
Coffee with the right Side and I'm your host, Jack
Fairchilds and we're a part of the Midnight Ride Network.
