Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, what up boxing fans. This is the Rope of
Dope radio podcast. I'm your host, Chris Carlson here live
on a Thursday. My apologies, life gotten the way, couldn't
do it Tuesday and Wednesday, but we are back to
talk some boxing. We will, lightly because it is Thursday,
do some recap, won't get too involved. We'll talk about
(00:25):
David Allen's big victory, a couple other items. Bulicheck Fox,
Bulletchuck definitely did not look good in that fight. It
appears there was a miss knockdown in it too, so
we'll talk a little bit about that. Of course, we'll
preview and predict what's coming up this weekend. Honing in
on Josh Taylor in s song. This is an interesting fight,
(00:51):
not because you know, it's a great matchup or anything
like that, but just like Josh Taylor's been talking about
how one forty has drained him for so long. But
you know, was it just the weight stuff in his
last couple of losses or is he just you know,
(01:11):
long in the tooth basically, you know, I don't know.
I mean, if Taylor comes out of this with a
big win, I still think not that it's not a
positive thing, right, he needs a win, but I don't
think we can look too deep into it. This is
(01:32):
kind of Esmund is a good, solid prospect, kind of
domestic level fringe contender at forty seven. So we'll see
how Taylor looks as far as the weight. But like
I said, I don't know how, I don't know, I
don't know how much I'll weigh it after if he
(01:53):
does win very cleanly, because you know he should basically
also Angelo and Tamika Tamika to Moco Tomochi Comita, this
should be a really good fight. Comita is a very
experienced guys. He's had what forty forty six fights or
(02:15):
something like that, never been stopped. Leo obviously coming off
a big knockout over Lopez. So we're previewing, predict that,
talk a little bit about, you know, some fight news,
and a little boxing Twitter stuff as we you know,
wrap this thing up. Won't be a super long show,
(02:37):
but yeah, well end with Given my opinions, I think
get some messages here in the last couple of days
or over the last week that I'll respond to as well.

you go. Direct TV Stream all right, So where are
we gonna start here? Well, I mean I really want
to pretty much focusing on David Allen's victory Fisher Allen.
(04:09):
You know, Fisher was in control of that fight, not
that he was doing a ton of damage per se
like you know, left and right. But he definitely was
winning the fight. I mean, I gotta admit, like Alan
looked out of shape as far as just his body.
(04:29):
He's never gonna look great. Some boxers just don't, especially
at heavyweight, right, but he looked bad, you know, he
looks really it just and he said, oh, I'm gonna
put the extra weight so I can bang and everything.
And you know that may be true or whatever to
an extent, but I just think you'd want to be
(04:51):
in better shape than that. I gotta admit I was
a little surprised, you know, how he looked. I'll say
that now looks can be to see. And ultimately, you know,
I give him credit. You know, I did get a
nice plus number for the knockout. But yeah, I was
I was a little surprised how he looked. I was
(05:12):
thinking that Fisher may you know, be right around the
way he was, And I did think that he would
land some punches, jab and all that, and then move.
I really thought he would be kind of more on
the move a little bit, not like boxing on the
(05:32):
outside sticking move and dancing and all that and you know,
getting gassed. But I did like his jab from the start,
basically to the stomach, a couple other lands. I gave
Fisher the first round. The second round kind of hitting
hold mode, like a decent right hand. You saw Ellen
(05:54):
throwing punches, but most of them were more like looping punches.
They weren't really all that effect, I thought. In the
third rounds, I gave Fisher the second. In the third,
I thought he landed some really nice body shots early
later in the round, a little past the midway point,
(06:15):
there was a nice exchange and a really really nice
left hook by Alan with under a minute left in
that third round, But late there was a nice upper
cut by Fisher and just jabs and body work. I
still thought he won the round, but I did start
to take note, like, okay, Alan found something here with
(06:37):
that left hook. Fourth round comes around right hands to
the body in the head, you know, throughout the round
with the jab or just the one two. I gave
him another round. So I honestly didn't give you know,
maybe you could have gave him the third with that
nice left hook from Alan, but other than that, I didn't.
(06:57):
I didn't give him any of those rounds. Obviously. The
fifth round came around, I thought Fisher actually landed fairly
well early and then Alan landed some really good body
punches and a looping right hand and the left hook
in a big, big right hand. He landed under a minute,
(07:21):
then a left hook to the body. It was kind
of like a left hook to the body, and then
a big right hand and he was down. Fisher and
his legs looked completely gone. I think it was like
an uppercut. Two body shots and I think a left
hook finished them off. They called it. They are like,
(07:45):
it's done. You know, it is completely done. Like I said,
he did give up. Credit to him. Fisher did get up,
but he was he was done in the corner, threw
in the towel. He was gonna go down again. It
was over. It was a knockout. So Alan, like I said,
credit to him, man, he he did his thing. He
did his thing. Like I said, I had a nice
(08:05):
little plus number, and credit goes out to him. You know,
he'll get a big fight his career, at least for now.
You know. It sounds like he's now with Mattrum again
with Eddie Hearn, So he'll he'll be active, he'll make
some more money. We'll see exactly where you know what
level he fights at, but shouts out to him man
(08:26):
that that was a big, big win for him. And
then you know, Fisher, you know, I thought he got
I don't know, I thought it may be a draw
in the first fight, but I actually had Alan win
in that fight, so you know, to me, I thought,
(08:47):
I thought he got screwed in that first fight a
little bit. So you know, you could say, go back
to the drawing board, but you might as well just
fight like right around this level and see if he
can improve. I mean, you're it's not like you've had
a lot of fights right as far as the number
(09:09):
of them, and maybe you can find something in there.
But I don't know, Ellen just playing that gatekeeper role
to a t Like I said, I thought he won
the first fight, so shouts out to Alan. The bullet
truck box fight, like I said, there was like a
(09:31):
I wouldn't call it a slip, but maybe a stumble.
But either way, boat Truck put himself in a in
a like off balance. He didn't you know, he was
kind of squared up and you could say all the
five Fox didn't really land a good punch, but there
was a punch landed and he hit the deck, you know,
(09:53):
so I thought it should have been counted a knockdown.
That said, though, like I didn't have Fox winning, I'll
say that, but Fox just it just wasn't a good fight.
You know, I thought there was you know, I thought
he right off the bat in the first round. I
(10:14):
did think Fox, you know, did pretty good. And you know,
Boa Chuck was was coming. You know, he's bringing that
come forward style that he that he does, and I
thought that he did okay eventually. I didn't think he
was laying all that well. But you know, I would
(10:40):
have liked to see Fox really try to really try
to stop Boa Chuck and his tracks more and I
guess you could say, like step into his bunches, like really,
you know, I thought there was a moment there where,
you know, I just think we need a little bit
(11:00):
more out of Fox to give him the fight. But
Boa Chuck, I'm not trying to take anyway from Fox either,
because Boachuk looked like crap and he's a fighter that's
kind of up, down and all around depending on who
he's fighting. And I gave him the wind, but it
was ugly and I did think that it could have
been called a knockdown. I really do. I understand some
(11:23):
people say, oh, he kind of you know, it was
like not necessarily a slip, but like a stumble or something,
and his feet weren't properly balanced or whatever. But it's like, well,
it wasn't like it was from you know, was it
like a canvas monster you know that grabbed him Like
it wasn't. They didn't get their legs tied up or
(11:45):
their feet tied up. So to me, you know, it
was just a bad fight. I gotta admit, But I
do think, like I said, I think that they you know,
I think that they missed one. I really do very
underwhelming basically Boa Chuck. He just having issues like bringing
(12:11):
efficient pressure, like he wasn't cutting off the ring all that. Well,
you know, it didn't look good, but I didn't know,
if you know, I don't think Fox necessarily did enough
either to be like, oh he won. He got screwed
like I've seen some people say he got robbed. I
didn't see that, but in the same breath, you know,
(12:33):
it is what it is. I did see this knockout
from Japan from uh Tanagucci nasty nasty left hand, I
mean right during exchange he stood the dude up and
just dropped him. Definitely one of the uh, definitely one
(12:55):
of the you know knockouts of the year, that is
for sure. Also, I did watch that Mazuki Hirotzi. I
think it's here Herota Herota that. I think it was
a super flyweight title on that Hollywood Night three sixty boxing.
(13:16):
She looked good. She had a nice little outfit onto
before not saying it weirdly, it was it was a
cool outfit. She just kind of sprang it open. It
was okay that that sounded really good. Pause and I apologize.
I didn't mean to say like that, but like it
was just a cool ring entrance as she removed something,
(13:37):
and it was kind of just like, oh, that's cool. Also,
you had I did see a nice knockout. I think
this one was Perry from Tuton Voldie Tutin. Nice left hook.
(13:59):
That was a nice little shot there. What else did
we have here? I think that's about it. Oh and
you know we did have we had some crazy, crazy
stuff going on in the Dominican Republic, you know, going
(14:22):
after you know, a ref crazy shit happened in that ring.
So that that happened too. That happened too. That was
That was pretty crazy, man, That was that was pretty crazy.
Also Carlos Garcia, who's just an action packed, like combination puncher.
(14:48):
I think he's now eighteen and oh or nineteen and oh.
He he had a nice win. He definitely is an
exciting fighter, that's for damn sure, like really really exciting
fun fire to watch seeing these clips of these combinations
he's throwing, you know, definitely, uh, definitely definitely fun to watch.
(15:11):
We'll see if you know that style is gonna you know,
bode well because I don't know. But he's a prospect,
very young, so we'll see where he goes onto this weekend.
So Josh Taylor and s es menes you mon su
(15:31):
Men Kyle Esman su Man, you know, like he's a
good fighter, you know, I would I would say he's
more of like you know, fringe contender range at Welterwait,
he's twenty one and one, doesn't have many knockouts. He
(15:55):
lost recently in a twelve rounder to Harry Scarf. He
did be to unbeaten ten and l prospects lately. He'd
beat Chris Kongo a while back. You know, he's okay,
he's Okay, he definitely brings like an exciting, pressure packed,
(16:15):
you know, high active volume to the fight with Taylor,
though it's really like, I mean, it's been over three
years since the last time he had his hand raised,
and actually one can make an argument that you could
date it all the way back to late twenty twenty
(16:37):
two with that win with Jack Caterall, like he barely
got that win, so you could go all the way
back to Ramirors potentially before he got a win. So,
you know, much has been talked about this whole time
about how one forty was killing him, and I remember
for a while he was gonna go up and wait,
(17:00):
you know, he took these long breaks, and when you
have these long breaks and then you go to try
to make weight, it's not ideal. You know, it's not ideal.
So you know, is one forty seven gonna be better
for him? Well? Sure? Like making the weight, yeah, like,
(17:21):
you know, not having to whittle away those last couple
of pounds will give him energy. I'm sure he'll feel great.
I'm sure you know, supposedly had this great camp and whoops,
I'm not doubting it. But yeah, so I think one
forty seven will feel better for him, and he may
look better. He maybe have more energy and all of that,
(17:41):
more more spunk right pause, possibly there. But to be fair,
you know, I'm not going to call this a one showcase,
but it's kind of a catch twenty two. If he doesn't,
if Taylor doesn't look good in this fight, and it's
(18:04):
a really close fight, no like Shade to mess him,
but it wouldn't be a good look for Taylor. And
if he doesn't cleanly win this fight, then he should
probably hang him up. And if he doesn't hang up, hey,
that's his prerogative. But you know, we'll know for sure
(18:27):
that he's he's he's a you know, he's just done.
It does kind of appear that he's done more than
it's just the weight. Like I said, I we won't
know if he passes this test. Let's see who he fights,
you know, later in the year, and if it's a
quality opponent at forty seven, then we can start to
(18:49):
really make like, okay, you know what. I think he's
got more in the tank, you know, But as far
as like how the fight will play out, I do
think that Taylor where he uses JAB, I think he'll
use his you know, footwork. I think he'll kind of
mix in and out. Esmond will come forward. Like I said,
(19:11):
he brings a fun style matchup, but Taylor is very
crafty on the inside, and so I think he'll just
land the better punches, the cleaner punches, and I think
he's gonna win by unanim's decision. Could he knock him out?
He could, he could, But like I said, I mean,
(19:33):
if he knocks him out, it's a great knockout. That's impressive, right,
But let's see what he does after this before we say,
see it was just the weight, you know that. That's
where I'm at with Josh Taylor right now, because it
kind of feels like he peaked a while ago. And
(19:54):
like I mentioned it, of course, trying to make that
weight when you shouldn't, you know, that's an issue. But
then I guess you should have moved up if that
was the case, you know, And I get it. Like
tale Fima Lopez was a big win for him or
big fight for him, and he had that rematch of Catterall,
but yeah, he just he just look not even a
(20:16):
step slow. He looked a little slower than a step slow.
But I do have him winning by decision also moses
a tuma at at tama where Harvey said, I know
his pop says it one way. Didn't he say, like, well,
if Siri says it this way, that's what we're going with.
I'd probably take how your pop says his name over Siri.
(20:41):
But hey, what do I know? Right? Angelo Leo and
Tamika guy said it again? Tomiki is it to Tomaki?
Tomachi comita Cameda Camda is a good fighter, Like he's
not this world beater person, but I think he's a
(21:01):
very good fighter. And he's been around the block right
a couple times. He's got a lot of fights. He's
never been stopped. He's never been stopped in like forty
six fights or something like that. But that number right,
(21:26):
that yeah, forty two and four, But he only has
twenty three knockouts. He is more of a volume puncher
rather than you know, a knock you out guy. He's
got some he's got some fluidity to his punches at times,
he gets a little wide though, but very good volume.
You know. Definitely his game. In fact, you could say
(21:46):
at times like it's one thing to engage. Sometimes he's
overly overly engages. If that makes sense. This definitely, I
believe will be his last big opportunity to try to,
you know, win a belt. And he's, like I said,
he's a game fighter, never been stopped. But you know,
(22:10):
is he just kind of passed it? You know, I
think that's a fair question. He did lose in twenty
thirteen to you know, pretty okay fighter, but he he
did avenge it. He lost to Ray Vargas a while back,
but that Jamie McDonald fight McDonald, it was back to
(22:35):
back in twenty fifteen. I thought he won the first fight.
I thought he won the first fight. I did think
he got screwed there. But he's gonna bring you know,
he's gonna bring it, if that makes sense now, Leo.
Obviously he's won five in a row now. His last
one over Luis Alberta Lopez was a great highlight reel
(22:58):
type knockout upset. And he's put five solid wins together
since his first loss to Stephen Fulton. And you know,
like he did get cleanly beat by Fulton, no doubt
about that, but you know, he was still he was
still in there. You know, he just didn't win many realms.
(23:20):
It was kind of competitive in a sense, within the rounds.
But Layo is a banger too. That's why I think
the styles match up. You know, I do think Leo
will start with the body work, you know, with both hands,
hooks with both hands, and I think that establishing his
(23:41):
jab against a guy like this will be a key,
definitely a key. And you know, the once you establish
the jab, once you get the you know, the bodywork going.
I think those left hooks, which is especially his excuse me,
left hooks, will we'll definitely find a home, but especially
(24:03):
during exchanges. And I talked about how you know, Comita
tends to overly engage. I think that's ultimately what will
be his downfall. The more accurate, the tighter, shorter punch,
especially a left hook, will be layout. Now that said,
(24:25):
just because you're more than capable of banging it out
on the inside in the trenches, doesn't mean he should
do that, you know, the whole time. So I think
just the subtle movement right, the step to the side,
step around the pivot, maybe even a clinch from time
(24:48):
to time. I think kind of a mixture of you know,
he does come forward, he will establish the jab, but
I just think that it's gonna be two way, it's
gonna be entertaining. But then down the stretch, whether it's
the last four or five rounds something like that, in
(25:09):
the second half of the fight, look for Lao to
be the one really landing the telling punches, you know,
the meaningful punches. And I just think Leo is kind
of on the way up. Like I said, he went
full circle loss this belt and then now it's earned
it all the way back. So this is on pro
(25:29):
box if I hadn't said that, and it's from Japan,
so that's kind of cool, pro Box doing their thing.
I do have Leo by unanimous decision as well, but
like I said, I do think it'll be a fun,
fun fight, spirited fight. But oops, overall, I just don't
(25:50):
see Comita, you know, able to get over that hump
now as far as and to be fair here, like
you know Comitia, if you do like Comita, like there's
some value in him, that's for sure. There There definitely
(26:14):
is he as anywhere from A plus three eighty all
the way up to fando a plus four forty. I
think my bet was uh Layout by decision minus one
(26:35):
fifty one or something like that, and I and I
think uh actually, hold on, I think I got that wrong.
I think it's one. It's actually I think that's the
Sorry about this, I'm pretty sure that's that's tailor. If
(26:57):
he wins by decision, it's one sixty one. That's what
I think it is, because I'm pretty sure by decision
it's a much it's like minus one oh two or something.
For let me check really quick for Laoe. I think
I got those backwards. Pretty sure I got those backwards.
(27:21):
Let me see here. So all right, sorry, it's it's
just messing up for some Okay, there we go. All right,
so let's see here, make sure I get this correct.
(27:44):
But like I said, I do think it's gonna be
a damn good fight. Matxy Hughes returns to as does
Terry Harper against Natalie Zimmerman. She you know, Harper shouldn't
have a problem with that one. Also Perez and uh
(28:07):
calexxito calex sito renee, I forgot how you say his name.
But that that should be a good fight too. That's
probably the most competitive one. Okay, Yeah, so Lao by
decision is minus one sixty one. So I was right.
I guess I was right. I could have sworn that
it was let me see the tailor one. Now this
(28:31):
is just great podcasting, isn't it. Sorry about this. I
thought I had it already here, but at the website
kinda crashed or something. I don't know what shit happened. Okay,
So by decision yes, minus one oh five minus one
oh five, h Taylor. If you think he's gonna knock
(28:53):
him out, that's plus two twenty two. So you make
the call. But I think it's gonna be two decision
wins is my it's my best bet. That's what I'm thinking.
That's what I'm thinking is gonna happen. So let's get
into a little bit of news and some boxing Twitter
(29:15):
stuff and then we'll get the hell out of here.
It does look like they finalized the Taylor Serrano Netflix
six different championship fights. That's pretty cool. We heard that
Turkey was talking about making of course Tayo Fema Lopez
and Boots Ennis. Hopefully they get that over the line.
(29:40):
That's what I'm really hoping that that happens. But Turkey
also said that he's working on Ryan Garcia Devin Haney,
and it's like, no, no, thanks not. You should have
just went right to that fight. You didn't Garcia got beat.
(30:00):
I think are set like it's just no point in
making that fight. I really don't. I don't think so,
not right now. An Oscar de la Hoya told Fight
Up that you know, he has no interest in making
that fight either. Now, maybe the money will be interesting
and and that'll turn you know, turn it around. But
(30:21):
so Floyd Schofield Senior, it midst the turning down a
million dollars to fight Abdullah Mason, right, and he said,
we took the longevity instead, with Golden Boy offering five
million for five years. He said, Now, I gotta say,
(30:42):
he did say we could still maybe fight, you know,
Abdullah Mason in that realm, but he said he took
the long so instead of fighting for a mill, he's
gonna take a million each year. How many fights is that?
Is that two or three year? So yeah, he said
five million over five years. So I don't know many
(31:08):
they I don't know. Someone sent me this that Eddie
hernsaid Canela might retire. I doubt he retires before the
deal's done. You know, he's got three more fights, so
I highly doubt he retired. Maybe after that, but h
(31:31):
I mean, honestly with the besides Crawford, Like what the
opponents they're talking about. I mean, if you're not gonna
give us bene Vitez, you might as well fucking retire.
I guess, you know, I don't know, Like if you
go fight, you bank Junior and in the winner of
like if if Sharaz beats er Langa and then that
earns him a Canelo fight, I've said it all along
(31:54):
in twenty twenty six, those two fights consist of you
make Junior in Sharaz, dude, or or rematch with Berlanga. Oh,
that would be disappointing. I saw this news come through
that Netflix says announced they will produce a biop a
biopick by a biopick with the Jamie Fox involving the
(32:20):
nineteen eighty four Olympic team. So there's, you know, the
drama of a plane crash, building a team, and then this,
I mean that freaking team was crazy, dude. I mean
that's that is ridiculous. Also, Rocky Hernandez is out of
his fight unforcedly, so that that kind of sucks. I
(32:40):
was looking forward to, Uh, I've always liked watching him.
But and also let's see here, I forgot who it was,
but someone was saying Ray Savage should jump in because
it's only like it's like eight or nine weeks, and
he said that's short notice. It's like, well, that's not
really sure notice. But anyway, I saw this brunch boxing
(33:04):
breaking news. Tricky Lashk had announced that the basically a
different promoter, not Tko, not Dana White Sila, which is
from Sadi and the bout the fight now will take
place head to head with UFC, So I guess he
(33:26):
really didn't like what but Dana had to say that
he doesn't like the stadium and blah blah blah, and
so next thing you know, just that. So I'm really
hoping that it's on Netflix. He keeps like the fact
that it's taken a while to announce it kind of
makes me think he's working on a deal for it.
But I hope so, like, I get it, if it's
(33:49):
on pay for You, I totally understand. But yeah, I
think it just be worth it to be on Netflix.
I also saw July eighth in Manchester, harle U Bank
and Jack Catterall. Not that it's a horrible matchup, but
stylistically who that one could suffer. Also here in Oscar
(34:13):
Duarte is expected to return August second in Chicago against
Kenneth since that was a fight that had been that
had been scheduled I think last fall and I remember correctly,
So that's cool. That's a good fight Chicago's hmm. I might,
(34:38):
I might. I might see if I can work it
in my schedule. I'm not sure that the date works
for me, but yeah, that's kind of interesting. All all
Athlon Sports was reporting that Canello and Crawford is going
to be moved to Dallas at and T Stadium on
September twenty eighth. I saw Jay Rope quote tweet though
(35:00):
September twenty eighth is Sunday for one and Cowboys host
the Packers that day, so yeah, I don't know. Um
so hopefully they don't make that Ryan Garcia fight with
(35:22):
Devin Haney. This is what Tayo Fema Lopez said about
the Canelo team. The Canlo team don't want Tao Femo.
It's whatever Champ, it's whatever Canelo wants. I don't want
to be heavy, flat footed, planted feet. Anyways, I'm a boxer.
A lot of people chewed my ass for not knowing
how to cut off the ring can if skull could
(35:43):
cut off the ring, so I guess he's saying, I
don't know. Um, this is a tweet from John Canello.
Crawford not being oh now being a re odd season
pay per view is about as good as news for
boxing as a return of Many back. Yeah yeah, and
that is official as we know the Many pac yow.
And you know, when I heard it was gonna be
(36:06):
on Amazon, I was like, Okay, why not but on
pay per view? Man, It's just you know, it is
what it is. Someone sent me this. I don't know
who the Twitter account is because it's just I could see.
It's a tweet though. It says will Canelo and Crawford
be a modern day version of Leonard Hagler? Like debatable?
(36:30):
Like it's gonna be that close to where it's debatable
because I doubt that it's that good of a fight.
I think that was be a much better fight, but
I could see it being close and being debatable. I
will say that Bob Erham, he's been going off with
Canelo and fight up TV saying you know, he's no
longer a boxer, He's a businessman. He doesn't doesn't come
(36:52):
to fight, only comes to collect checks and it's bad
for boxing. But you wouldn't be saying that if you
had him, Jim Carross, David Allen has always been a
solid gatekeeper. He's been in the ring with some very
good fighters. That takes a fighter being at a certain
level to beat him. Unfortunately, Johnny Fisher is not at
that level. Well, said Jim Keee Curtis, you couldn't have
(37:13):
picked a worst tactics for Johnny Fisher last night, fighting
at the back foot with a stiff, chunky rugby player physique.
Fisher's scream is never going to be suited to fighting
like that was always gonna be gas a few rounds. Yeah,
I mean I thought he should have mixed in some
movement which he was doing. But as far as like
the amount of moving he was doing, yeah, I agree,
(37:36):
that wasn't that great. Somebody else sent me this from
Dan the Boxing Man. What do I think of Manny's pack?
Yew's message to Devin Boxing became popular because the support
of the fans the people. So make sure you are
satisfied with every fight that you have. That's a balance
you can pay that you can't pay back all the
sacrifices you had and people aren't satisfied. Yeah, I mean,
(38:01):
Haini wasn't the only fucking bad style that night, though
I noticed how Hani's getting a lot of the blame.
But you know, there was some shitty fights that night.
So speaking of Hani, though, I will say this, his
pops put out this. Floyd didn't do this, Sugar Ray,
(38:22):
Oscar Pacio, Canelo, Tank Chicord, none of them did this
by age twenty six, thirty two one oher seven world
champs beat three unified champs beat they weren't unified at
the time. I don't think though, undisputed two World of
two division world you know. And then that dumbass account
how boxing works. He basically said that he'd take Hany
(38:48):
at age twenty six his resume over Leonard and his
thing is he lost by twenty six, and I, you know,
I responded to him, say, mostly accomplished by twenty six
has nothing to do with losing to many who many
deem a top ten fighter of all time. Losing to
(39:11):
Duran and then beating him, you know, come on, dude,
even if he would have lost, he'd still have a
better resume, Like this is just stupid. But yeah, he
kept tweeting aged twenty six, one thirty five, you know
named all the belts, including the Ring and then WBC
and and you know at one forty seven he only
had the lineal in the WBA and WBC. But back
(39:33):
then the WBA wasn't shit. And once you get the linear,
you get the lineal. But your best win is Loma
for debn eighty. So you're trying to say that's better
than you know, three three fighters that come right to mine.
I mean, it's just it's so stupid. That's where undisputed
(39:54):
it becomes. It's undisputed against Loma is great, but it's
not better than dur or Tommy. Hearns like it's it's
it's just stupid. I did see Ariel really shit on
Carl Fratch saying he wasn't even B side, he was
a D side and blah blah blah blade he says
it stupid shit. I agree with that. This is Fred
(40:17):
at Salacious Boxing room of the kids are saying that
Turkey and Dana met with Netflix, but Turkey started yelling
at Netflix for allowing women in the meeting. The kids. Okay,
he's just fucking around. Umm, Turkey is making a great
mistake that Golden Boy and Mattroom and then Canello himself did.
You can't just drop Canelo in and expect to do
(40:38):
major business to cover the rumored one hundred and sixty
million up front for Canello and Crawford. Yeah, I mean
that is that is an issue. Umm that guy he
tweets the boxing from bibl in Round nine will be
studied for generations. Someone said, one of the greatest game
(41:02):
plans I've ever seen from Bivil and how to perfectly
use Stanama masterclassic masterclass adjustment from the first fight, absolutely immediate,
amazing to say that round nine will be studied for generations. Yeah,
(41:27):
I plead the fifth. I think that's a good time
to get out of here. All right. My schedule has
been mixed up lately, so I'm not gonna lie to you.
It'll probably be Wednesday during the day the next time
I do a boxing show. Okay, but we got some
good fights come up this weekend, especially the one from
Japan Pro Box doing their thing. It's cheap, it's on YouTube,
(41:51):
they got an app. It's super cheap, dude. There's really
no reason if you're if you're a hardcore boxing fan,
you should have pro box. Anyway, I'm gonna get out
of here, enjoy the night, be
