Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, I'm you happy, keep.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Book Neil Smith and old Buck Buddy.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Are you hearing Neil?
Speaker 4 (00:08):
Neil?
Speaker 5 (00:09):
I miss you, man Junnies, I have a question.
Speaker 6 (00:12):
We respect for me.
Speaker 7 (00:13):
Down, Missy breaking a major story, Chris, congratulations.
Speaker 6 (00:17):
Listen to a single score podcast.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
For those who don't know, I used to be in
television news. Right now, I'm in television opinion. I'm a
opinion host, a conservative constitutional conservative opinion host. But I
was in news at one point. And Folks, for those
of us who are in the opinion realm, I cannot
(01:03):
stress how important having legitimate, real and verifiable, trustworthy news
is when you're developing an opinion. I mean, you can't
have bias one way or the other, even if it's
like good for me or my political beliefs. I don't
want a news report to reflect anything but the facts,
(01:28):
because it is from those facts I derive an informed opinion,
so having factual news presentations. The founding fathers believe this
as well, hence putting the freedom of the press in
the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. They believed it.
I believe it, and I think it's vitally important to
have a free and a fair press, I really do.
(01:50):
And you know what, freedom and its preservation definitely need
factual information to keep freedom going. Now we've not been
treated to that in a good many years in this country.
The fall of journalistic integrity is real, folks, and the
bias in the press is real. Don't misunderstand what I
(02:13):
do and what the press is supposed to be doing.
If you work over at ABC, fake News, CBS fake News,
NBC fake News, CNN, MSNBS, they come out and they say, oh,
we are newspeople. As such, they should be presenting both
sides in a fair fashion, and as you know, they
have not been doing so for many moons. Now. Prime
example is President Trump suing CBS Fake News for that
(02:37):
interview of Kamala Harris where CBS fake News edited the interview,
made select cuts in the interview, and what they aired
made Kamala Harris look more cogent than she really was.
President Trump called that election interference. I agree with him.
I think it was if you're trying to misrepresent who
(02:59):
in what a case it is to your audience in
the middle of an election, that is full blown election interference.
Now there was enough there there that CBS or its
parent company rather paramount settled with President Trump, and you
think that would be the end of it, But damned
(03:20):
if if they didn't do it again with another high
profile interview. Here is Christine Nome. Now, folks, I'm going
to it's a visual because it's on television. So I'm
going to have to tell you when the CBS news
coverage that they aired ends and what her actual answer,
(03:40):
the DHS secretary, What are actually her answer is? Because
what CBS did is in an effort to protect a
criminal illegal alien, they edited Christy Nomes's description the Secretary
of Homeland Security giving a description of who and what
this criminal illegal alien is, and CBS Fake News said, ooh,
(04:05):
we don't want our audience to know about who and
what these criminal illegal aliens are. We just we can't
allow that. So this is how it went, folks. I'm
going to tell you when the answer that aired on
CBS stops, listen, and the.
Speaker 8 (04:23):
One thing that we will continue to do is to
make sure that he doesn't walk for you in the
United States of America.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Okay, boom, So you hear that little breath in there. Now,
what you hear from this point on is the part
of the interview that CBS did not air the interview
with the DHS secretary. This is what CBS tried to
hide from their audience.
Speaker 8 (04:46):
Individual was a known human smuggler MS thirteen gang member,
an individual who was a wife beater and someone who
was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors
and even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock
it off. He was so sick in what he was
doing and how he was treating small children. So he
(05:07):
needs to never be in the United States of America,
and our administration is making sure we're doing all that
we can to bring him to justice.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Yeah, well, there you go, And none of that got
out to CBS fake news audience because they didn't want
their audience to know. Now I'm not exactly sure what's
going on over at MSNBS or whatever the hell they're
calling themselves these days. The rebrand that they've got going
(05:34):
on over at MSNBS folks joyless read. One of their
former employees actually bashed it recently, saying, all this red, white,
and blue, it looks like Newsmax. She didn't like our
nation's colors being so predominantly displayed. I guess she would
prefer the rainbow colors that had been the hallmark of
(05:57):
MSNBS for so many years. Anyway, over on morning, Brazinski,
this was the report last week during Labor Day, and
it was a rather deadly labor day and one Democrat
controlled city listen.
Speaker 9 (06:12):
In Chicago. Over the weekend, at least fifty four people
were shot. This is just over Labor Day weekend. Seven killed.
Several of the incidents were mass shootings, with multiple victims
at a single scene. In one instance, a teenage girl
was hit with a stray bullet. The violence comes as
President Trump threatens to send federal agents and National Guard
troops to Chicago to quell the crime there, despite objections
(06:35):
from the city's mayor, Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor JB. Pritzker. Unfortunately, Joe,
this is not unusual in Chicago, which has been plagued
by gun violence for generations, not years, for generations.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
Fifty four people shot this weekend in Chicago, seven killed.
I mean, and those numbers just keep piling up.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Well, the words were looking there for their mister Brazinski,
was not numbers. People. The people keep piling up. The
people who are dead keep piling up in Blue Cities
now again, rather nitpicky of me to go after morning.
Brazinski on on that note, because I think his fever
(07:21):
from Trump derangement syndrome has broken. Because this was the
conversation they had on Believe it or not, folks, MSNBS,
listen to.
Speaker 7 (07:30):
This turn is you have leaders in Chicago that see
this as you say, We've been reading about this for
years now every weekend, and maybe crime has gone down,
but you know, we had the mayor of Chicago on
last week saying, oh, we don't need any more police officers.
Police officers aren't the answer. No police officers, and you know,
I think you said no five times. You look what's
happening this weekend.
Speaker 6 (07:50):
He looks.
Speaker 7 (07:51):
You know, I actually think that JB. Prinsker should do
something radical. I think you should pick up the phone,
call the President and say, you know, and I know
you don't have the constitutional authority to deploy the National
Guard here and to police. You can do that in DC,
you can't do that in Chicago. But let's partner up.
(08:12):
These are the most dangerous parts of my state. We
would love to figure out how to have a partnership
that's constitutional, that respects the sort of balance of federalism
between the federal government and the state government, and let's
work together to save lives.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Because yeah, okay, well, you know, first off, there is
still an outstanding question. Even though a federal judge came
out last week saying that the Trump administration did wrong,
they were illegal in deploying the National Guard in the
People's Republic of California to quell the riots out there.
(08:53):
I think that's going to go up before the Supreme Court.
But here's what I do know that the president has
the right, as the head of the federal government to
protect all federal employees. So let's just say they're going
to send ice into Chicago and they need to be protected.
They're going to send the FBI into Chicago to go
(09:13):
after criminals, they need to be protected. The President has
every right to deploy the National Guard to protect those
federal assets and personnel. He has every right to do that.
And I think as long as the administration puts it
in that way, there will be plenty of constitutionality in
(09:35):
that regard, and I think that the President should win.
By the way that interview that he spoke of morning,
Brazinski spoke of with the Mayor of Chicago. He's right,
He asks the Mayor of Chicago repeatedly, Hey man, how
about more cops? How about more cops? And listen to
how resistant and how really disdainful the mayor of Chicago.
(09:59):
Let's go Brand and Johnson, how he just really doesn't
like cops.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
I'm curious, would you also like to get federal funding
to help put five thousand more cops on the street
in Chicago? Would that help drive down crime?
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Well, look, policing by itself is not the full strategy.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
I understand, Lavia if you've talked about the other things
you want, and I said, those are good and important programs.
But I'm asking also, would five thousand more police officers
on the street in Chicago be helpful to go along
with all of those social programs? And a lot of
cities are engaging in and having success with.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
No actually a lot of those cities, those blue cities,
are not having success with that. Else you wouldn't be
having all the massive crime, now, would you know. So
it's kind of a waste of money. But that's beside
the point, folks. So here, listen to Brand, Let's go
Brandon Johnson as he is refusing to say that policing
(11:01):
is actually a solution to crime.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Well, look, here's the best way I can put it, Joe,
is that in the nineties when I was in high school,
we had three thousand more police officers and we had
nine hundred people being murdered every single year in Chicago.
It's just not policing alone. Of course we want more detectives.
Of course I know.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
It's not But I know it's not policing alone. You've
told me everything else you want. I'm curious and this
this does come down to an ideological difference between between people.
Do you believe that the streets in Chicago would be
safer if there were more uniformed police officers on the
(11:40):
streets of Chicago.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I believe the city of Chicago and cities across America
would be safer if we actually had, you know, affordable housing.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
Okay, So redistribution is socialism. Socialism is going to solve
your crime problem, folks. Extortion is going to solve your
crime problem. The criminals say, hey, we're gonna we're gonna
rack your city with crime, So why don't you provide
us with free housing? And then now, yeah, we'll pay
off the criminals, so they don't they don't harm us?
(12:12):
Or how about this? You know, folks, I when I
grew up. I don't know how you did, but when
I grew up, I was kind of the lower to
lower middle class, and never once did my parents say, hey,
you know what, we're poor. That means we have an
excuse to go out and commit crime. That never once
the idea that you're a poor person somehow justifies you
(12:35):
going out there and committing crimes. You know who says
that left wing bullshit artists And that's exactly what let's
go Brandon Johnson, the mayor of Chicago is folks, this
bias in the press that is in some quarters easing,
but in other quarters full court press, of bias, of
(12:57):
left wing bias and hatred toward America from the president.
It's very real. And there are rising entities out there
that say, hey, we're going to give you the news
the way it's supposed to be. We talked to one
outlet coming up next to the South Sado Storm podcast
and now a word from our sponsor, Oh jeez, if
I hear another Obamacare commercial telling me how great it is,
(13:18):
I think I'm going to vomit. In reality, folks are
paying out the nose for crappy insurance, meaning those commercials
are just as much bs as Obamacare is. What if
you're under sixty five ineed quality affordable health coverage. American
Medical Plans specializes in under sixty five health insurance plans
that have zero copays at the doctor and no deductible
on all outpatient services, including surgeries. You pick your doctors
(13:39):
and hospitals. There are private plans and roll any time,
and there are thirty to sixty percent less than Obamacare.
If you're paying too much for your own health insurance,
call American Medical Plans. They are the answer to the
cancer that is Obamacare.
Speaker 2 (13:53):

Speaker 4 (16:51):
As you know, I have not been a big fan
of fake Republicans, principally because they allow the Democrats the
leftists to harm us. But the good news is out there, folks.
We do have heroes on our side. The antithesis, if
you will, of the Jaredale Pattersons of the world who
want to would bankrupt individuals just for voting their conscience,
(17:13):
just for voting for their constituents and the will of
their constituents. One of the good guys is a guy
by the name of Monte Bennett. He's a CEO, successful
multi billion dollar hotel business owner, and interest in local
and state politics has grown as he's confronted the direct
impact of progressive policies on his hotels, his employees, and
(17:35):
his home. Seeing what he viewed as media bias, he
founded the Dallas Express, which now has over five hundred
thousand subscribers, to provide an alternative perspective focused on that
little thing that used to be essential to journalism, truth telling.
Mister Bennett, welcome, Hello Chris.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Thanks for having me. It's great to be with you.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
Pleasure his own mind, Sir, you know I heard the
Democrat Morning News, formerly the Dallas Morning News, was sold
to a New York company. Doesn't that make you the
only locally owned Texas paper in Dallas?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
It does.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
They've been sold or they're in the process of being
sold to a New York group. And then you've got
the fort Worth Paper, the Star Telegram. They've were sold
sometime go to a New Jersey hedge fund. These aren't
locally owned anymore, and in fact, they didn't act locally
owned for a long time. And it's just a shame.
So we're here, we're locally owned, and we're all about
(18:36):
Dallas and the Metroplex and helping our citizens here.
Speaker 11 (18:40):
Right.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
And I've had a theory a long time. The reason
why Democrats and leftists in this country have gained a
foothold and continue to be able to unleash harm on
this country is partially because of fake Republicans who don't
stand up to them, but also they have a built
in pr firm, a propaganda firm known as the mainstream Press.
(19:02):
Tell me how pervasive you believe left wing bias is
in media and the press in general.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Oh, it's incredible. I experienced in my business starting more
than twenty years ago, when I gave an interview to
the Palm Beach Post out in California about why we
refused to have an HBO film in one of our hotels,
and the reporter took my interview, took it back, and
posted an article that completely twisted everything I said and
(19:33):
made it look completely different than what the facts were,
with this far left twist to it. And I started
experiencing them, and I've been experiencing since. Here in town,
a number of so called journalists try to write something
about me or my business, and it's wrong. It's putting
the wrong light, it's purposefully deceiving. It's terrible. It's incredible,
(19:58):
and that's what these guys do. I was reached out
for an interview from I think it was Texas Monthly
not too long ago, and I'm involved in some school
choice initiatives and the like, And so he asked me
some questions, and before I said I'd answer any of them,
I made him promise to me that he thought that
it was actually possible that someone that wasn't a far
(20:22):
left person like himself could be involved in education solely
for the reason to try and help kids, that there
weren't some other nefarious reasons, that he didn't have a
monopoly on trying to help people. And boy, we had
to go back and forth a couple of times before
he finally said that he believed that was possible, even possible,
(20:42):
and then he didn't even write the article. Wow, the
bias is so bad they can't even help themselves, right.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
And you know what, I make it a practice, and
I tell all conservatives that when you're in an interview
situation with left wingers, whether it be radio, whether it
be television, whether it be you record the dang interview
because when they start writing bad things about you, you
have the receipts and you can expose them. You know.
(21:10):
I had an interesting interaction with the Democrat Morning News.
I had asked one of the reporters to come on
to conservative talk radio and ask or answer some questions
that I had about their reporting, and I was told
by the leader of the Democrat Morning News at the time,
I'm not going to expose my reporter to the likes
of you. They believe, they believe, mister Bennett, that they
(21:35):
are above being questioned. They believe that those who differ
with their perspective have no rights to answer or ask
any questions of them. They believe they're the ones who
ask the questions and it's up to us to answer.
Isn't that a hallmark of left wing worldview and ideology?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
There's no question about it. In fact, a few years ago,
and you call me mantilized, but a few years ago
when I helped start Dallas Express, and really our CEO
gets all the credit, Chris Pudna, he's awesome. I'm just
was the founder. Went back when a few years ago
and when I started up or reached out to the
head of the Dallas Morning News personally, I said, hey, look,
(22:17):
we're going to be competitor in town. Let's get together
and at least see where we can work together to
try to help our city. And no response. Called him,
no response, emailed, no response. Finally he responded, and he
said that he was too busy over the next I
don't know how many months and years to have a
cup of coffee with me to even talk about how
(22:37):
to make our city better. So it's just incredible the
mentality these people have. They think they have all the answers,
and of course they have the opposite of the answers.
If you look at the editorial board from the Dallas
Morning News a couple of days ago, they said that
they thought the City of Dallas was doing a fine
job of implementing Prop You, which is this new proposition
(22:58):
that requires them to raise police and to hire more officers.
And I can easily show you and you can see
it in the Dallas Express that that's just not the case.
They're still materrely short of paying police officers what they're
supposed to do, and they're not allocating the amount of
money that Prop You said that they have to allocate,
(23:19):
So they're in violation of their own law. The city is,
and here the Dallas Morning News is patting them on
the back for it. So people are just sick of it.
And that's why we have so many subscribers and so
many people go to our website. We've broken national stores,
you know, that whole story about Kate Granger being in
a nursing home Washington Congress. Ye, our team and our
(23:42):
great reporters broke that story and it went national. These
are the kind of stories that Dallas Express has been breaking.
That the Dallas Morning News nor the four Ward Star
Telegram break. They just I don't know what happened to them,
and that's why they're being bought out and they're going
out of business.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Well, yeah, Putnam came on the show when that broke,
and he let us know what was going on. You're right,
it was a national story and it was a disgrace.
The Democrat Morning News and uh not the Houston Comical
where we're broadcasting right now, or you know, the fort
Worth Star Telegram didn't didn't seem to want to to
out a well known left wing Republican, uh for for
(24:19):
deceiving the voters. But great to the great hat tip
to the Dallas Express. By the way, we're talking to
to Monty Bennett, folks, the founder of the Dallas Express
here on the program. In your city, the Dallas Police Chief.
I can never pronounce this guy's last name, Daniel. Is
it Camo or Camu? Yeah? Yeah, he refuses to. Yeah,
(24:43):
he refuses to sign on to the two eighty seven
g agreement and cooperate with ICE. Uh I, I don't
know what the exact rule on this is, but I
didn't think he was allowed to refuse in the state
of Texas to cooperate with federal authorities on illegal immigration.
But as Dallas has become a magnet for criminal activity,
(25:05):
they attract a lot of these criminal illegal aliens. What's
your take on his refusal to work with federal agents
to stop this rampant criminal illegal alien problem we have
in the United States.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Well, I think it's just typical of what happens in
all these deep blue cities, and Dallas has become deep blue,
and no doubt he's getting pressure. He's getting pressure from
far left members of the city council that's pushing him
to do this. And it's terrible because they're all going
to really have a big problem when Trump rolls in
the troops and restores order to our city. And they
(25:42):
are going to cry like stuck pigs when it happens.
But let's face it, they deserve it because the crime
of our city is a huge problem, and they won't
even admit it. That it's a problem. It's a shame,
and I don't know what is wrong with the mind
that they think that this crime is okay because it
hurts our friends in the black and brown communities the most.
(26:04):
And here Democrats pat themselves on the back as being
the person that helps these communities when it's the these
people that are getting killed with all this crime. They're
harming them with these policies. It's just terrible. There's something
wrong with their minds. So in any case, it's a shame,
and the roosters and chickens are going to come home
(26:24):
to roost her soon because there's just no sense of it.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Well, you see it up in Chicago, where the people
are saying, please President Trump, come help us. It's the
Democrats who are in charge who say, don't come and
help our people. And I think that really it's a
stake with these leftists who run these cities, whether it
be Dallas, whether it be Chicago. Sadly, I see Fort
Worth tilting toward this, whether it be Austin or San
(26:50):
Francisco or New York. They're terribly afraid that if President
Trump comes in there, that he's going to show Democrat
voters there's another way. And the two point one million
people have already fled the Democrat Party since twenty twenty,
that's going to cause another avalanche of people who want
nothing to do with their backward ideology. Folks, we're talking
(27:12):
to Monte Bennett. He is the founder of the Dallas Express.
Let me play a couple of soundbites for you, because
I think this is what your paper stands against. This
is the bias that is on display. You're going to
hear Aaron Burnett and Jonathan Carl describing similar stories, one
that is against President Trump and one that is against
(27:35):
Trump critics, and how they report differently. They're going to
be back to back, So you got to listen. Here's
Jonathan Carl first listen.
Speaker 12 (27:43):
So we seize this as an opportunity to again portray
himself as the victim. This is classic Donald Trump. You know,
he spends most of his presidency portraying himself as a
victim of the Russia investigation, certainly his impeachments, and now
he's portrayed himself as a victim of a runaway and
politicized Department of Justice.
Speaker 11 (28:04):
The moment we'll get to the stunning developments coming into
the weekend with FBI agents swarming around the home and
office of former Trump National security advisor John Bolton. But
first the context. This didn't happen in a vacuum. John
Bolton is on a long list of Trump critics who
are now facing the wrath of President Trump and his
(28:26):
Justice Department.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Mister Bennett, I was a news and now I'm an
opinion I know the difference. Jonathan carl is a left
wing opinion guy. He's not a newsperson, is he.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Not even close? And you know what what you're describing
as so much of the legacy media, so much of
the mainstream, their opinion writers masquerading is some kind of
objective reporter. At the Dallas Express, we try very hard
to make sure we get both sides.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Of every issue.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
We get the words from the mouth of the people
that are involved. But these legacy media players, they just
jump out there and write the story with their opinion
and that's all it is. They don't get quotes, they
don't do anything. And this so called context they put
it in is terrible and so wrong. It's you know,
the Russian collusion hoax is an example. Any fool could
(29:16):
look at that and know that whole thing was just
made up. I mean, please, the president of the United
States being paid by Russia. The guy's got a lot
of money. But so many people bought into this, just
crazed foolishness, and the press just repeated it over and
over and over and over again. And it was just
a national delusion that was happening with something that was
(29:37):
so patently false. But this is what they do. They
delude themselves and then they report all this information as
if it were fact.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
Exactly, And you know the difference between President Trump gets
attacked on baseless charges and then there's Jonathan carl saying, oh,
he's playing the victim. He's really guilty, he's playing the victim.
And then when John Bolton, John Bolton gets accused of
I guess the prevailing wisdom is now that he breached
national security with classified information. Oh, that's just revenge, that's
(30:07):
just so wasn't political revenge against Trump? It's only against
Trump critics that it's political revenge. Well, here's Aaron Burnett
pretty much showing us exactly the duplicity and the bias
of the majority of the press.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Listen, news, we are learning that the FBI executed a
search warrant at former President Trump's mar Alago and Palm Beach, Florida.
We also know that it had turned out earlier right
that the President had taken a lot of documents that
were marked as top secret classified to mar A Lago
that he shouldn't have. I guess let's just cut the
bottom line on what's happened here. Do you believe that
(30:42):
the raids on John Bolton's home and his office are
political payback?
Speaker 4 (30:47):
You know? And this is from the same press that
saw Joe Biden admit that he was stealing mister Bennett's
stealing classified information for decades as a senator and his
vice president that he had no buy I had no
business stealing and putting next to the core veteranor's garage.
They look the other way when he was confirmed to
have done what President Trump was accused of doing, and
(31:10):
by the way, it turns out wasn't doing.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
Well, that's what they do. That's from Sololinski's rules for radicals,
is you accused the other side of what you yourself
for doing at that very time. And so that's what
the left has been doing for quite some time, and
they weaponized the DJ I was targeted by the SEC
for a period of time. I started for the THEOJ
for a period of time, and I was up there
protesting on January sixth, and I got calls from the FBI,
(31:37):
and thank God in Heaven that I didn't go into
the Capitol building because if I did, I was spend
time in jail for absolutely nothing. That whole thing was
just a hoax. And anybody that believes that that was
a quote insurrection is deluded. Don't even had a gun
it was. It's crazy what people can talk themselves into
(31:58):
and how naive they can be with these terrible weaponizations
that happened in our federal government. And Trump is trying
finally putting a stop to it all.
Speaker 4 (32:07):
Yeah, the only person who died from a gunshot wound
that day was Ashley Babbitt, a white, unarmed Air Force
veteran who was threatening no one. That now video shows
was she was surrounded by police and when the capital
officer opened fire on her, she was a threat to
no one because the police surrounding her didn't view her
(32:27):
as a threat. Last thing, and by the way, folks,
please check out Dallas Express. The founder is on the
program right now. With us Monty Bennett aside from the
Dallas Express, who do you think is doing real journalism
out there? Who do you admire and maybe even would
would choose to emulate who's doing it right?

Well, I tell you what's happening now is you're seeing
so many great news sources jump up like yourself and
what you guys do, Chris as you jump out there

me and Alex Stein the other day, the comedian, and
he's a conservative comedian, and it's just fascinating how Alex
takes these issues of our time and use this comedy
to show, to flesh them out, to shine light on them.
And I think Alex is doing a great job with
(33:34):
all of that. And thanks for the plug for Dallas Express.

these legacy legacy media pieces.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
Yes, we are the balance, folks. That that is how
I look at conservative opinion. We will give you the
other side. And you know what, folks, it's nice to
see that there are actually journalistic operations on which we
conservatives can base our opinions on, ones like the Dallas Express.
