Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, I'm you happy Peepook, Neil Smith and old Buck Buddy.
Are you hearing Neil, Neil? I miss you, man.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Jennies, I have a question.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
We respect for me down, Missy breaking a major story, Chris, congratulations.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Listen Scorm podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Reading salutations and how do my friends welcome to the
cel Sadlestorm podcast. On this podcast, I'm going to i'd
be breaking a little format. I suppose I'm gonna be
breaking up two interviews with two big stories surrounding them.
And actually the genesis of of all of these stories
is surrounding the Charlie Kirk assassination. So I'll get to
(01:04):
it in mere moments. But I brought on Christy Clark
and Jack Pisobic, both Turning Point USA alums, and I
told him the story about Ken Paxton. Ken Paxton standing
with some individuals who you're going to hear from, and they,
like tens of thousands of others, trying to found a
Turning Point USA chapter on their high school campus in Texas.
(01:28):
And this is how our conversation went. Have a listen
to this Senate candidate and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton
announcing he will meet with Strafford High School students in
Houston Spring Branch ISD. Tomorrow, he'll address how a group
of students and two teachers were targeted for trying to
form a Turning Point chapter at the school. Paxton posted
(01:48):
these encouraging words on his X page quote, the far
left tried to silence these patriotic on Texans, but we
will never surrender in honor of Charlie. Will be bolder
and more courageous than ever. For more, we're joined by
news vaxine trip to Christy Clark and senior editor at
Human Events, Jack Psobek. Welcome to you both, Christy, I
want to go to you. First interviewed one of these
students on my radio show this morning, Jack, that was
(02:09):
his name. Jack was impressive, a very impressive young man
wants to share his love of country and God with
his peers. As I said, impressive. It's telling that some
loons on the left want to stop these chapters and
giving young men like this guy Jack a voice.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yes, this is nothing new, though, I tried to start
a Churning Point chapter at Michigan State University back in
twenty fifteen, when Turning Point was relatively new and we
had so many issues trying to start that chapter. It
was put together and then taken apart because a faculty
member was bullied for just vowing to sponsor it, when
Turning Point at the time was far more of an
(02:47):
economic club than it was more of a cultural revolution
that it is today. This has been a problem for
a long time, but you'd hope that with the legacy
of Charlie Kirk that everybody would be on board with
pushing and promoting a free speech agenda. Yet we see
the left at it again.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, mister posobic. You know, on a basic level, debate, discourse,
alternative points of view, they're supposed to be the American experience.
But these these left wingers don't want a debate anymore,
and in the finest tradition of Mause, Stalin and Marx,
they want to silence any and all debate against them.
How big is it that the Texas ag and conservative
Senate candidate is standing with these kids, telling them not
(03:25):
to back down, and then using his voice to help them.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Well, I think it's absolutely fantastic what a G. Paxton
is doing. And if laws were broken here in terms
of the harassment of minors, I certainly know that he'll
be the person to prosecute anyone who did that. Look,
in our country, we have a free debate, we have
free expression. And when you take that first step towards censorship,
(03:49):
shutting down, breaking down the lines of communication, because you
define yourself as in opposition, as you say I deny
my opponent's rights, I deny their rights to speak, it
becomes a very slippery slope to going all the way
down the tubes until what we saw what happened with
the assassination of Charlie Kirk. They start with denying your
(04:10):
right to speak, and then they deny your right to live.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Absolutely correct, and that's where the left wing is taking
this country. You know, it's really too bad that we
don't have a political party that will stand up for
we the people Americans against these democrats, against these leftists
and Marxists. Folks, the first person you're going to hear
from his name is Jack, the one I was just
talking about with Posobic and with Christy Clark. There that
(04:36):
comes your way first, and then I'll set up the
next interview coming up on the South Sado Storm podcast.
And now a word from our sponsor, my friends, did
Bidenomics in the left wing economy really rock your world.
Latin American medical plans relieve one burden health insurance. American
Medical Plan specializes in under sixty five health insurance plans
that have zero copays and no deductibles. You choose, your doctors,
(04:59):
you choose, there's your hospitals. These plans have nothing to
do with your income and are thirty to sixty percent
less than Obamacare. If Obamacare has your paying out the nose,
call American medical plans. Don't let these Marxists destroy one
sixth to the US economy and your access to healthcare
without a fight. You deserve better. You deserve American medical

plans the answer to the cancer that is Obamacare.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Chris Celcido Charlie Kirk memorial was massive, and those of
us on the conservative right saw it and we were
just in awe. Those on the left they're afraid, and
they're afraid of what Turning Point USA the values it
could bring to the younger generation, because let's be honest,
(07:24):
the folks in the left have been trying to corrupt
the next generation. And there's a story out there and
I'll talk about it with my next guest about the
younger generation Generation Z rediscovering God. So look, I want
to bring on a young man who probably wasn't anticipating
(07:44):
on being the center of anything that was controversial, just
wants to bring Turning Point USA to his high school.
His name is Jack Robertson. He's a junior at Stratford
High School in Spring Branch, ISD side for being on
the swim team. Jack is an active member at his
church and love spending time with his family and his friends. Jack.
Welcome to the Salado Storm podcast.
Speaker 7 (08:06):
Good morning with Salsado.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
It's good to have you here, my friend. Look up,
I want to just start at ground zero here with
how you're digesting somebody in your age group, digesting what's
been going on in our world. How did the Charlie
Kirk assassination impact you? Man?
Speaker 7 (08:24):
You know, when I had first heard the news and
read everything about it, I was, like many others, in
disbelief and shock, and I was so sad and hurt
that something of that magnitude could happen to someone like Charlie.
But as I've kind of reflected on his life and
his passing, I've been inspired, like many others, to be
(08:49):
a better leader, a better person, a better friend. I've
been inspired to continue on his legacy in my small
role that I can in the high school world. And
but more importantly, I've been inspired to, just as Charlie
would have wanted, to share my love of God to
everyone I can, And I feel that now more than ever.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Well, and this is sadly, there are some people, which
we'll get to here in a second, Sadly some people
who look at that and are afraid of what you've
just espoused. Why do you want to bring a turning
point chapter to Stratford High School? Why do you think
it's important?
Speaker 7 (09:27):
You know, I think that it's important for us. A
motto that me and my team have been working on
in workshopping is to inform, advocate and or inform, educate
and advocate, excuse me. And we want to inform people
on in students, especially on what's happening in the world.
(09:48):
We want to educate them on their rights and the
power of their voice and their vote, and we want
them to use their voice and their vote to advocate
for their beliefs. And we hope to just create leaders.
We hope to create people that are willing to stand
up like Charlie did and speak for what they believe
is right and just truly advocate for themselves and put
(10:08):
America first. That's what we hope to bring with the club.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Folks. We're talking to Jack Robertson. He's a junior at
Stratford High School in Spring Branch, ISD. A recent survey,
this is the one I was making allusion to when
I brought you on. Recent survey found that your generation
is starting to look back and turning back to faith
and God. And by the way, I think this is
(10:31):
something you want to know. My political opposition, the Left,
they were anticipating on your generation being godless soulless individuals
who were promoters of communism and collectivism. Do you think
a Turning Point USA chapter can help those who are searching,
(10:53):
maybe for an answer, who are starting to pursue and
find something to feel that empty void that you and
I both know only God can fill.
Speaker 7 (11:03):
So I mean that survey hearing that every time I
er some smile, I think it's so amazing. I can
pray those own and I can only pray that those
numbers go up.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
But I do have to.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
Make clear that clob America is not a religious club
or a partisan club or anything like that. But I
do know that many members on my team and in
clubs around the world are around the country, excuse me
and myself, are more than willing to speak about their
faith and to help anyone with questions because that's what
(11:34):
we want to do. We want to bring as many
people to Christ as we can, right And.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Yeah, and you know what, not that there's anything wrong
with that, But see, in the United States of America, Jack,
we've got this thing called the Constitution which allows us
the freedom of speech, which allows us a freedom to
practice our religion, and the government cannot interfere. And that
leads me to a lady, and I'll use the term
(11:59):
loosely lady, who tried to intimidate teachers and you students
into not bringing a Turning Point USA chapter to Stratford
High School. When you when you were here, you are,
you're you're walking on campus. This would be a great idea,
bring a chapter here to fulfill all the objectives that
that you were talking about, which, by the way, I
(12:21):
can say, we're good objectives. And then you heard about
an air quotes adult who said that she didn't want
to allow you and allow teachers to do that, and
she went on in a campaign of intimidation to prevent it.
How did how did you process that?
Speaker 7 (12:40):
Man? You know, I wouldn't even be here today if
it wasn't for this. So it's me and a team
of individuals as well as a big amount of students
that are interested in the club, that are all pushing
for this. So it's not just myself, And in our
discussions about the situation, we've all agreed that what was
(13:00):
meant to break us down and discourage us has since
given us a fire under our feet and pushed us
and driven us and motivated us to further our club
and to get it official, and that's truly, it's been
a blessing disguise. You know, God works in mysterious ways,
and that's something I keep hearing from my teammates on
(13:22):
this club is just how fortunate we are for the
opportunities that have come from this situation. And you know,
there's no negative feelings towards it, it's just gratefulness for
what we have.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Well, well, Jackie, look, I'm sure you're kind of used
to this. I was privileged to talk to your dad.
I know he's very proud of you, and you're just
to me. You give a guy, a gen xer like me,
hope that the next generations that we're going to be okay,
that we're handing off America to a group of people
(14:00):
pop who put humanity on a high level, who put
God on a high level, that this American experiment will continue.
Jack Robertson Folks, junior at Stratford High School in Spring Branch, ISD.
Keep me posted. I want to hear when that chapter
goes live and when you guys get it done, because
(14:21):
we'd love to know about it. Thank you, Thank you, sir,
of course, thank you so much. Very impressive young man there.
So now the next story I want to tell you
is about a young girl at the University of North Texas.
So left wing kok school and left wing kook's go there,
and apparently the prefessoriat is full of left waying KuK's.
And what was going on here on this campus on
(14:42):
this particular day when the story is centered is the
assassination of Charlie Kirk. And the videos are coming out,
and these students inside this classroom up at University of
North Texas, they are showing this video and they are
laughing and they are joking about the killing of Charlie Kirk,
a Christian Conservative. And this girl stands up and says, hey, guys,
(15:03):
we shouldn't be celebrating a political assassination. Shouldn't be celebrating
the killing of a man that has a family and
a wife. And of course there was a lot of
pushback from the left wingers who were in the class
and also the professor. And the rumor is the professor
asked her to leave. It was well, we're going to
(15:25):
ask her about all of this, folks. That's coming up
on the Salsado Storm podcast. And now a word from
my sponsor, how can switching to Patriot Mobile help you? First,
when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're not going to
be funding a left wing company. Patriot Mobile is America's
only Christian conservative cell phone company. They donate to the
causes you and I support. How else can it help you? Well,
it will keep voices like mine independent. You switch over

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Why get your news from people who don't share your values?
Get new stories from Texas Scorecard.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
We provide real news for real Texans.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Go to texascorecard dot com today.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Many of you will probably be shocked to learn if
you live in Texas. Others of you in blue states
will not be shocked to learn that your lawmakers, even Republicans,
are financing left wing hate and support for Charlie Kirk's assassination.
That's right, Republicans made sure fake Republicans and the legislature
made sure that your taxpayer dollars in K through twelve
(17:01):
and in the so called institutions of higher learning in
Texas receiving funding for left wing kooks, freaks, and nuts
who are in the administrations and in the classrooms. And
this is what fake Republicans do. They dedicate your money
to supporting leftist anti American causes. And this time they've
(17:24):
gone too far, because these left wingers have now started
supporting political assassinations. I told you the story out of
the University of North Texas and infamous, infamous college for
left wing extremism in the state of Texas, funded with
your taxpayer dollars. I told you about the incident where
a young lady, one girl we talked about on the
(17:46):
NEWSMAC show that the national audience now knows about this story.
One girl in the entire class stands up and says,
in the wake of the Kirk assassination, guys, it's not
a good idea to be celebrating a political assassination of
a guy. That guy had a wife, the guy had kids.
He was shot in broad daylight, in front of a crowd,
(18:10):
in front of the entire nation. Not a good idea
to be celebrating this. Whatever your political beliefs are, one
person in that entire classroom, not even the so called
professor apparently adopted that mindset. Let me bring on what.
I don't know where wisdom comes at such a young age, folks,
but let me bring on that student, Mary Catherine Say,
(18:35):
junior at the University of North Texas. She describes herself
as a Christian conservative who puts God and her values
above all else. Mary Catherine, welcome.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Hey Chris, how are you today doing well?
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Thank you very much for carving out the time. I
hope I'm not taking you away from your studies. Look,
I just wanted you to tell the folks what's going
on and what happened to you at the University of
North Texas. The day, Charlie Kirk is a fascinated You're
sitting in class, and what.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Happens, well, I mean, it all starts. We are sitting
in class about ten minutes early. A lot of us
like to get there just so we can sit down,
get all of our things unpacked, so we're ready for class.
Sitting there at three twenty, I hear a student behind
me go, hey, did y'all see that Charlie Kirk got straw?
(19:23):
And she's talking to the whole class. And this class
is a fairly big class. There's about eighty ninety students
in there. And I hear one student go, oh my gosh. Yes,
I hear one student say, oh my gosh, no, who
is Charlie Kirk? And so she stands up and she
is just announcing to the world. She is saying he's
the racist, the fascist, a neo Nazi. He says f abortions.
(19:48):
I mean, she is just going down this rabbit hole,
and I'm my ear is kind of now perked up
and I'm listening. Now it gets worse. So she's like, okay,
so do y'all want to see the video of him
getting shot? And all of the students are like, oh,
my gosh.
Speaker 7 (20:06):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
So that's when I'm like, ooh, that's that's that's pretty crazy.
So I turn around and I can see that's when
I start videoing. She is showing this video and there
are students breaking their necks to see this video. I
don't know where we have gotten to the point that
that's okay and we think that we should watch videos
(20:30):
of someone getting assassinated no matter what. It's just it's
it's crazy to me. But that's when I turn and
I say, so, why are we celebrating the death of someone,
you know, getting assassinated? Why are we doing this right?
And she turns and looks at me, and she just
starts going off. She's slowly walking closer to me. She
(20:52):
is just screaming, and you can tell. I mean, I'm
I'm not screaming, but I mean, I'm getting my point across,
but I'm not yelling. I'm very you know, calm, straightforward.
And she is just getting more aggressive and more aggressive,
and so this the professor hasn't standing there for probably
like three or two or three minutes watching this happen.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Let me stop you there, Let me let me stop
you there. You mean to tell me that there was
a quote unquote grown up sitting in the room watching
all of this unfold.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
All right, now, I'm going to play a SoundBite. I
believe this is the classmates you're talking in question. She
is unapologetic about about what she thinks of conservatives, and
I believe Ted Cruse said it best when Cruse said,
they don't kill us because we're Nazis. They call us
Nazis so they can kill us. And I think that's
(21:46):
where your classmate here is. Here is the unt classmate
jumping online confirming everything that you just said that she
was saying. Listen, listen to this posting this.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
I'm waking up ye. So yeah, if you've seen that
video of that girl showing the other girl the Charlie
Kirk video, I'm the girl showing the Charliekirk video. And
I will say this because Charlie Kirk is a neo
Nazi who targeted transgender people, who targeted women, who targeted
people of color, and did nothing but spread hatred and bigotry.
(22:21):
So yes, I was celebrating the fact that he was
shot and for you to come up and be like
he had a family, I hope you keep that same
energy for the millions of Palestinians being slaughtered every single
day who also have families, because I don't give us
about your fake morality. Also, if you go to a
liberal school, they're going to be liberal people there. So
if you saw that video, it was me.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah. So if you go to a liberal school, we liberals,
we leftists, we celebrate killing are our political opponents. And
she called Charlie Kirk all of those names, even though
Charlie Kirk isn't those things. She says, I just why
don't you react, Mary Catherine to to what your your
(23:05):
classmate is saying there? How rare is she or is
she the Is she the norm at university these days?
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Oh? She?
Speaker 3 (23:13):
It's this university. It's just it's sad what is going on,
and no one really believes what's going on campus. They
just think that, oh, it's a university. You know, there's
a it's definitely diverse, you know, that's what they're thinking.
But in fact it's really not there.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
It is just.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Crazy to me how they have completely overtaken this school.
I mean, I sit in class and I have so
many guys that are dressing up as girls. Girls that
are you know, dressing up as guys. I was sitting
in class the other day and I accidentally referred to
someone as as she, and they corrected me and said, no,
(23:55):
my pronouns are actually he him. I would prefer if
you called me that. I mean, it is just crazy.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
You know what you say in response to that? You
know what you say in response to that, Mary Catherine. Look,
your your delusions and your fantasies are not my reality. Right.
Uh sorry, sorry, I'm not going to walk on eggshells
because you tell me to it, you know, And that's
that's what I would say. But look, so I understand
this is what what the modern day leftist is doing too,
(24:24):
so called higher education, and it's not higher education. I
would be remiss if I didn't. If I ever bump
into these people, I'd say, what what if I called
you a communist and a leftist and a Marxist and said, oh,
because that's what you are. That means I get to
kill you, That means I get to burn your business
(24:44):
or whatever. These people don't think the the other side
of the coin. They're they're too busy thinking they've got
the impetus and that that they frankly can can do
everything unchallenged and that the other side doesn't have anything
to say about it. But when when the roles are reversed,
they're not gonna like their standard very much. When you
(25:05):
apply their standard to them, they don't like it. Mary Catherine,
as our guest, a junior at the University of North Texas,
describes herself as a Christian conservative who puts God in
values above everything else. Now let's turn to your professor,
the alleged grownup in the room. The professor was looking
around and watching all this go down, and this girl's
(25:27):
getting in your face, and what happens next.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
He finally decides not even to step in. This is
just him, This isn't even doing the bare minimum for
your students. He walks over just to me and leans
in and says, why don't you take this outside? And
just kind of like has like a little chuckle or
like a giggle you would say. And I think that
(25:54):
that's when I just was like, I just I'm not
gonna lie, Chris. I had to sit there and prayer
because that was, like, I genuinely don't understand what that means.
That either means. One first, the idea that popped in
my head. Does he mean that I need to take
this outside with a student in the hallway and do
get out? Does that mean that you're asking me to
(26:15):
leave the class? Which I mean it is like, what
does this mean? So I sat there for about a minute,
and I was like, I can either sit in this classroom,
which is very dangerous and hostile for me right now,
or I can get my bag and I can leave
and I can go straight to the Dinas students and Chris,
I mean, I put my bag over my shoulder, I
held my head high, and I walked out and I
(26:37):
called my mom and I was just so frustrated with
what happened, because it was just crazy to me how
that whole situation was handled by the professor. How we
have students cheering for an assassination, saying that they wish
that it was Trump. Next that Charlie's family deserves to
(26:57):
grow up, his kids deserve to grow up without a family.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
I know, Hatefield, It's all Hey, Look, I have to
ask you. Did the professor at any time say to
the class we should not be celebrating political assassinations in America?
Did the professor ever say those words?
Speaker 3 (27:16):
No, sir?
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Interesting, Mary Catherine is my guest right now. She's a
junior at the University of North Texas and she was
involved in this incident, one of many playing itself out
across Texas and across the country. Your mother sent a
letter to the dean, and I'm just going to read
from the Texas Scorecard write up on this. In her letter,
(27:39):
your mom said she was calling out the quote complete
lack of action, dismissiveness, and disregard for the seriousness of
this incident by the faculty and staff at UNT, and
she called it appalling. Have you or your mom been
contacted by the UNT administration about changes or implementations they're
(27:59):
going to make in staffing or in codes of conduct for.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Students, No, sir, it has been crickets. Absolutely, it's just
been silent. And it's funny to me, Chris, because I
have sent so many things to the Diana students no response.
I never get any response from her. Like yesterday, I
(28:23):
had received two zeros from the professor in question. The
PD told me once me and my family expressed my
concerns for safety because now I'm getting actual threats that
I should take two weeks off and just do online
and that was approved, but my professor is now giving
me zeros the same professor in question of the incident
(28:46):
that happened in class.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Do you believe that? Do you believe that's retaliation?
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Honestly, it would not surprise me.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
