Representatives as we are burdened with thirty five fake Republicans

ten of them up for censure, and praise God, they
get thrown off the GOP ballot because they're really Democrats
So I want to bring attention and also thank the
folks at Current Revolt for doing a fact check on
something that is out there about one of the aforementioned
thirty five fake Republicans, a guy with the name of

Jeff Leech. So the fact check from Current Revolt goes
something like this, Tommy Paine get it writing the article.
Perhaps he was crying out for help when Representative Jeff
Leach highlighted an attack ad against him by saying he
didn't care and said that the very specific accusations about
a bill that he authored was trash and now deleted

post from Jeff Leach highlighted a commercial very few people
would have seen otherwise, and he puts up the deleted
x tweet from Jeff Leach that said quote, I don't
care what this dude had to say about me yesterday,
I don't care today, and I won't care tomorrow. And

the top of the list. Anything he says, anything he writes,
and any messages he pays for is trash and should
be treated as such. Jeff Leach prefers all of his

wanted to watch on X but for some reason, folks,

read it. When you're hurt by a semi truck driver
who can't read or speak English, juries have a right
to know. That's the law in Texas. But Representative Jeff
Leech tried to change the law to protect truck drivers
who don't speak English. Leech wants to stop the driver's
inability to read or speak our language from automatically going

to the jury. This claim is a big yikes, writes
Tommy Paine of Current Revolt, because we all live in
fear of the illegal alien driver, particularly if they have
no insurance, and especially if they're driving a semi truck.
We meaning Current Revolt, immediately launched an investigation into HB

forty eight sixty six and found the claims to be
extremely true big true on current Revolts fact check meter.
The bill is written in very legally confounding a legally
confounding manner, linking to several other sections of the Texas
Civil Practice and Remedies Code. This is where the lawsuit

people live and get rich. It's so vague as to
its meaning that no casual Texas politics enjoyer would ever
catch it, which is why we are so thankful that
Representative Leech's conscience broke through and cried out for help.
Everything about this bill is a smoking gun that the
rich lawyers who control the levers of power in Texas

use issues like cheap deregulated labor to enrich themselves and
their connected corporate interests at the expense of the people
of Texas and their future. We continue, we intuitively know
this is how things are run, that politicians are bought
off to do nothing about immigration. But this time we
actually caught them. We will lead with the substance of

the claims and the bill claim Jeff Leech tried to
change the law to protect truck drivers who don't speak English.
Leech wants to stop the driver's inability to read or
speak our language from automatically going to a jury. We
made this low effort cartoon to illustrate what the bill
means in practice, and then we will look at the
Republicans who went along with this before finally getting into

scenario for dummies. There is a guy who doesn't speak English,

hired an unqualified driver. That is before HB forty six
eighty eight. Okay, after HB forty six eighty eight, non

the judge waves the gavel at the aggrieved party, saying,
unless you show the driver's English actually caused the crash,
the jury won't hear it. You are a bigot or something.
So there you go, kids, Fake Republicans passing laws to

happened in Florida as the illegal alien was given a
commercial driver's license in California and he ended up killing
some people, A law like this was unconscionable to be

It is an honor to have you as well. Look,
I asked this of every aspiring politician. I can see
by your resume that services in your blood. Why HD
one six, why you look in to be in that district?
Is that where you reside?

Yes, sir, that's where I live. You know. Once I
was free from Biden's gulag, I decided to take a
look around the Metroplex and I really loved the Frisco area.
I love the proximity to downtown Dallas and my beloved
Dallas Stars, and you know, the people and the opportunity
for growth here in this district attracted me. The other

thing I tell you is, you know they have a
definite need for an improvement in their state representative and
so I made the determination after speaking with multiple public
groups and having them asked me to run that that's
what I wanted to do. And honestly, you know, my
opponent is probably one of the worst Republicans if you
want to call him that inside the Texas House. And

so our people in this district are crying for property
tax relief. That's what I'm going to try and give
them with everything I have if I'm elected by them
to represent them in the twenty twenty seventh session.

Well, so let me ask you because you mentioned the gulag, Yes, sir,
a lot this is probably going to come up in
your campaign against Jared L. Patterson, a man who, just
like a commonist sympathizer gen Wu blocks criticism on social media.
He doesn't like criticism. He's very thin skin, he's a manchild.

But he will probably bring this up about Biden's goolag.
Tell the folks what happened.

Yes, sir. On January the sixth of twenty twenty one,
I was one of the peaceful protesters that went into
the Capitol. I didn't do anything that day that would
embarrass any texting. As a matter of fact, I actually
protected police inside the Capitol and they testified to that
in my trial. Was Officer Nairobi Timberlake that did that.

You could also see video of me protecting police when
I exited the capitol. And so for that, because I'm
the senior ranking J six protester, the Department of Justice
decided to make an example of me, and so they
tried me and asked that I be put in prison
for six years. Fortunately, based off the testimony from Officer

Timberlake as well as several great letters written to the judge,
he opted to only give me two. But still, Chris,
that's that's two years just for entering a building on
a trespassing charge if that. But you know, the Biden
administration decided to destroy the lives of the people that
did that. And honestly, you're right, Jared will bring this
up again and again. He has already told people that

that is how he is going to define me. He
is called precinct chairs telling them that I'm not a
serious candidate and that you know, to look at what
I was wearing that day to protect myself. So you're
absolutely right. So the whole issue is can I get
the truth out about what I did on that day
and what I can do for the people of this district.

Can I penetrate Jared's lives that he is going to
spread about me?
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Well, you know, I've got to say, mister Brock, that
because of the political turnaround in Washington, that those those
who are taking a closer look at the video, those
revelations coming out of the corrupted FBI at the time,
that there were federal agents in that crowd jinning up
the crowd, that the vast majority of the over one

hundred thousand people gathered there were peace as as you articulated, peaceful,
didn't destroy anything. That they were being waved into the
Capitol by police officers, they were being told to go in,
and there's video to that effect. That all of that
information is starting to come out and the public's perception
is being turned around so much to the point to

where Ashley Babbitt is being honored by the United States
Air Force for her service as she was the one,
the only one who was killed by somebody's poor judgment
in my opinion, on that day, as she was a
threat to no one, an unarmed Air Force veteran that
was crawling through a window at the time. She was

shot and surrounded by other officials, police officials who also
didn't think she was a threat, but somebody did as
he fired at her and killing her. I think that
that you're gonna if Jared Patterson wants to go down
this road, he's going to be very He's going to
be seen very much as he typically is an ally

of the left of Joe Biden and his gulag.

Sir, I think you're exactly right. You know, it is
a I am very happy to see that the United
States Air Force reversed their position and returned to you know,
Ashley Babbitt's honors that she earned while in the military.
You know, it's the issue of you know, you don't
want to play defense. I would much rather focus thick
this campaign on the issues and compete with Jared in

the arena of ideas. But he can't run on his record,
as you know. You know, he has never met a tax.
He doesn't like the carbon tax, the mileage tax. He
wanted studies on both of those, and even now he
is undermining the only bill in the special session that
would give Texans any property tax relief. It's typical of him.
He looks conservative, but everything always results in higher taxes

and more government with him.

Well, yes, I mean there's actually I've been the closer
you look, you can discern that the Jared Patterson is
the farthest thing from a conservative. Again, his actions, I
would say to you, mister Brock denotes somebody who is
very much a left winger, very much somebody who doesn't
like criticism, who who wants to have it his way

for his own personal enrichment, and he's willing to sacrifice
his own voters.

week speaking of mister Patterson. This is mister Patterson who

is under threat right now from the Collin County GOP
of being censured because, as you note, mister Patterson speaks
like a conservative, but his track record is that of
a left being extremist, and mister Patterson doesn't like being
held accountable for his voting record. Listen to what he
had to say and the threats he's leveling at precinct

chairs who are threatening him to actually do the will
of the voters so that Jared Patterson can no longer thwart
the will of the voters.

I don't think that they're going to have the votes
in the deal, but if they do end up centuring men,
you know, I do have an attorney and we are
going to fight this as much as we possibly can,
including personal lawsuits, and Melinda and precedent and been trying
to knock me off the ballot. I hope every single
precinct chair that votes for this has the ability to

lawyer up because we're we're not going to arrest and
let the thing happen willingly.

Yeah. So he again I had to stress this, mister Brook.
He wants to threaten those who want to do the
right thing to stop himself from being censured over his
record because he's done the wrong thing and he wants
to get away.

Your thoughts, well, I think it shows an entitlement. He
clearly doesn't understand the office anymore. You know, a representative
represents the people and serves at their pleasure, and for
him to threaten them with legal action or lawfare is
just wrong on so many levels. You know I very much.

You know, during my time in the Air Force learned
that as an officer, you know, I was there to
lead mind, listen to people. But you do it through
servant leadership. And that's exactly what I will do as
the representative for House District one oh six. You work
for the people. You solve problems for them. You know,
you work with the mayors to to see that our
infrastructure grows in an appropriate rate. You do everything you

can to serve the people of the district. Whereas Jared
is threatening them with legal action and and you know
he doesn't even want a censure when he has richly
earned it. You know, I believe that the censure is
over five items. I'm certain it's more. But honestly, sir,
I've stayed away from that effort because if he takes

it into court, I don't want him to have any
ability to link me to it in any way.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Well right, and again, he would try to do that
because it is voter dissatisfaction with his conduct. Again, mister
Patterson's number one priority has been democrats, empowering democrats, enabling democrats,
giving democrats power they didn't earn the ballot box. And
now that he's been caught, now that he's been revealed,
now that he's been shown to be part of this

what I call the Gang of eleven coup, which started
with Joe Strauss way way back in two thousand and nine.
Now that he's been shown to be one of the
most unreliable, conniving, fake Republicans, he doesn't want the people
to take action, so he's willing to tarn further anybody
to be able to continue to screw over, to screw

over his constituents. I want to play something else. This
is him on the on the House floor, abusing his
power in the House. Else he is again making threats
against those who would dare hold him accountable. I just
want you to listen to part of this. You'll get
the you'll get the gist, and i'll get your reaction.

and Procedures and the House Rules serve as the main
sources of governing policy for House personnel and staff conduct.

on Policies and Procedures outline that a member's employees are

and you get the gist, mister Brock, that he is
trying to basically use his position and power inside the
House to threaten his fellow Republicans if they dare, if
they dare, try to hold him accountable for being anti Republican,

Your thoughts, Yes, sir, that is exactly what he was doing.
He's also, I believe, in that particular instance threatening you know,
an sr C member and a staffer for one of
the representatives from Denton County, and so you know, it
is typical Jared, you know, and that's one of the
reasons why I'm looking forward to seeing people actually come

out and endorse me. You know, a lot of them
are hesitant because he is so vindictive. It is, it's
just it shows his character over and over again. You know,
this is a man that cares only for himself. You know,
he really is a constituency of one and that is
Jared Patterson. He is the representative of the vendors and
not the people. And so I was embarrassed, honestly, frankly

for him to see him at the well of the
House rather than working to solve problems for the people
in House District one oh six, working to create blade.
You know, he called in that same video you played
earlier one of his fellow representatives many derogatory names, and
he actively working conspired to deny water to eighty five
(23:23):
thousand Texans in Wise County. You know, this is a
man that is unfit for office. And I hope that
the people of House District one oh six choose better.
You know, I will represent them I will serve them,
and I will remain true to the Republican Party's values
and enact all of the legislative priorities of the Republican
Party of Texas rights.

And that's kind of my last question to you. If
the people in the one hundred and sixth district are
lucky enough to have new representation, who isn't a sellout,
who isn't a left wing kook masquerading as a Republican?
If they send you to Austin, what is your number
one priority? What do you think that the legislature needs
(24:05):
to get done that it is failed to get done.
Speaker 6 (24:09):
Well, sir. I mean it's across every social media platform,
it's in every poll. You know, Republicans and Democrats in
this state both need property tax relief. It is we
are drowning in additional taxes. I mean, just in the
last three sessions, property taxes have gone up almost forty
percent and added twenty four billion to the total. So
(24:30):
my initial plan, initial plan is to stop all property
taxes for senior citizens. You know, out of the eighty
six point eight billion, that's nine point nine billions, how
can I do that? I'm going to offset that immediately
by just cutting spending. We can make it to where
no textan is kicked out of his or her home
(24:50):
by just cutting spending, and we have to choose to
do that. The second thing I would do, sir, is
not require local elections for a one point five or
two percent zo point five percent, but for any tax
increase from school districts, special districts, cities or counties. That's
what has actually been killing Texas in terms of property
tax growth. I'm working with the Texans for Financial Responsibility
(25:13):
to craft a plan for overall property tax elimination. But Sir,
unlike most candidates, I'm going to tell you, it's going
to take some time. We have to do this smartly
and so that Texas can continue our economic miracle through growth,
and so that every city and every county can have
proper emergency services, which is what we all want. We
want Texas to tighten its belt and cut spending. We
(25:36):
want to see property tax relief, but we want to
see the economic miracle continue through through growth, and so
we've got to do it smartly. You know, working with
those guys has been a pleasure. You know, we're working
together to create a plan to stop the whole eighty
six point eight billion property tax industry and it can happen.
I just think, sir, it's going to be about a
ten year off rant, folks.

read it. When you're hurt by a semi truck driver
who can't read or speak English, juries have a right
to know. That's the law in Texas. But Representative Jeff
Leech tried to change the law to protect truck drivers
who don't speak English. Leech wants to stop the driver's
inability to read or speak our language from automatically going

to the jury. This claim is a big yikes, writes
Tommy Paine of Current Revolt, because we all live in
fear of the illegal alien driver, particularly if they have
no insurance, and especially if they're driving a semi truck.
We meaning Current Revolt, immediately launched an investigation into HB

forty eight sixty six and found the claims to be
extremely true big true on current Revolts fact check meter.
The bill is written in very legally confounding a legally
confounding manner, linking to several other sections of the Texas
Civil Practice and Remedies Code. This is where the lawsuit

people live and get rich. It's so vague as to
its meaning that no casual Texas politics enjoyer would ever
catch it, which is why we are so thankful that
Representative Leech's conscience broke through and cried out for help.
Everything about this bill is a smoking gun that the
rich lawyers who control the levers of power in Texas

use issues like cheap deregulated labor to enrich themselves and
their connected corporate interests at the expense of the people
of Texas and their future. We continue, we intuitively know
this is how things are run, that politicians are bought
off to do nothing about immigration. But this time we
actually caught them. We will lead with the substance of

the claims and the bill claim Jeff Leech tried to
change the law to protect truck drivers who don't speak English.
Leech wants to stop the driver's inability to read or
speak our language from automatically going to a jury. We
made this low effort cartoon to illustrate what the bill

scenario for dummies. There is a guy who doesn't speak English,

hired an unqualified driver. That is before HB forty six

the judge waves the gavel at the aggrieved party, saying,
unless you show the driver's English actually caused the crash,
the jury won't hear it. You are a bigot or something.

happened in Florida as the illegal alien was given a
commercial driver's license in California and he ended up killing
some people, A law like this was unconscionable to be

I asked this of every aspiring politician. I can see
by your resume that services in your blood. Why HD
one six, why you look in to be in that district?
Is that where you reside?

Yes, sir, that's where I live. You know. Once I
was free from Biden's gulag, I decided to take a
look around the Metroplex and I really loved the Frisco area.
I love the proximity to downtown Dallas and my beloved
Dallas Stars, and you know, the people and the opportunity
for growth here in this district attracted me. The other

thing I tell you is, you know they have a
definite need for an improvement in their state representative and
so I made the determination after speaking with multiple public
groups and having them asked me to run that that's
what I wanted to do. And honestly, you know, my
opponent is probably one of the worst Republicans if you
want to call him that inside the Texas House. And

so our people in this district are crying for property
tax relief. That's what I'm going to try and give
them with everything I have if I'm elected by them
to represent them in the twenty twenty seventh session.

Well, so let me ask you because you mentioned the gulag, Yes, sir,
a lot this is probably going to come up in
your campaign against Jared L. Patterson, a man who, just
like a commonist sympathizer gen Wu blocks criticism on social media.
He doesn't like criticism. He's very thin skin, he's a manchild.

But he will probably bring this up about Biden's goolag.
Tell the folks what happened.

Yes, sir. On January the sixth of twenty twenty one,
I was one of the peaceful protesters that went into
the Capitol. I didn't do anything that day that would
embarrass any texting. As a matter of fact, I actually
protected police inside the Capitol and they testified to that
in my trial. Was Officer Nairobi Timberlake that did that.

You could also see video of me protecting police when
I exited the capitol. And so for that, because I'm
the senior ranking J six protester, the Department of Justice
decided to make an example of me, and so they
tried me and asked that I be put in prison
for six years. Fortunately, based off the testimony from Officer

Timberlake as well as several great letters written to the judge,
he opted to only give me two. But still, Chris,
that's that's two years just for entering a building on
a trespassing charge if that. But you know, the Biden
administration decided to destroy the lives of the people that
did that. And honestly, you're right, Jared will bring this
up again and again. He has already told people that
(14:18):
that is how he is going to define me. He
is called precinct chairs telling them that I'm not a
serious candidate and that you know, to look at what
I was wearing that day to protect myself. So you're
absolutely right. So the whole issue is can I get
the truth out about what I did on that day
and what I can do for the people of this district.

Can I penetrate Jared's lives that he is going to
spread about me?
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Well, you know, I've got to say, mister Brock, that
because of the political turnaround in Washington, that those those
who are taking a closer look at the video, those
revelations coming out of the corrupted FBI at the time,
that there were federal agents in that crowd jinning up
the crowd, that the vast majority of the over one
(15:03):
hundred thousand people gathered there were peace as as you articulated, peaceful,
didn't destroy anything. That they were being waved into the
Capitol by police officers, they were being told to go in,
and there's video to that effect. That all of that
information is starting to come out and the public's perception
is being turned around so much to the point to
(15:24):
where Ashley Babbitt is being honored by the United States
Air Force for her service as she was the one,
the only one who was killed by somebody's poor judgment
in my opinion, on that day, as she was a
threat to no one, an unarmed Air Force veteran that
was crawling through a window at the time. She was
(15:45):
shot and surrounded by other officials, police officials who also
didn't think she was a threat, but somebody did as
he fired at her and killing her. I think that
that you're gonna if Jared Patterson wants to go down
this road, he's going to be very He's going to
be seen very much as he typically is an ally
(16:06):
of the left of Joe Biden and his gulag.

What do you think, Yes.

Sir, I think you're exactly right. You know, it is
a I am very happy to see that the United
States Air Force reversed their position and returned to you know,
Ashley Babbitt's honors that she earned while in the military.
You know, it's the issue of you know, you don't
want to play defense. I would much rather focus thick
this campaign on the issues and compete with Jared in
(16:33):
the arena of ideas. But he can't run on his record,
as you know. You know, he has never met a tax.
He doesn't like the carbon tax, the mileage tax. He
wanted studies on both of those, and even now he
is undermining the only bill in the special session that
would give Texans any property tax relief. It's typical of him.
He looks conservative, but everything always results in higher taxes

and more government with him.

Well, yes, I mean there's actually I've been the closer
you look, you can discern that the Jared Patterson is
the farthest thing from a conservative. Again, his actions, I
would say to you, mister Brock denotes somebody who is
very much a left winger, very much somebody who doesn't
like criticism, who who wants to have it his way

for his own personal enrichment, and he's willing to sacrifice
his own voters.

week speaking of mister Patterson. This is mister Patterson who

is under threat right now from the Collin County GOP
of being censured because, as you note, mister Patterson speaks
like a conservative, but his track record is that of
a left being extremist, and mister Patterson doesn't like being
held accountable for his voting record. Listen to what he
had to say and the threats he's leveling at precinct

chairs who are threatening him to actually do the will
of the voters so that Jared Patterson can no longer thwart
the will of the voters.

Listen.

I don't think that they're going to have the votes
in the deal, but if they do end up centuring men,
you know, I do have an attorney and we are
going to fight this as much as we possibly can,
including personal lawsuits, and Melinda and precedent and been trying
to knock me off the ballot. I hope every single
precinct chair that votes for this has the ability to
(18:40):
lawyer up because we're we're not going to arrest and
let the thing happen willingly.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah. So he again I had to stress this, mister Brook.
He wants to threaten those who want to do the
right thing to stop himself from being censured over his
record because he's done the wrong thing and he wants
to get away.
Speaker 6 (19:00):
Your thoughts, well, I think it shows an entitlement. He
clearly doesn't understand the office anymore. You know, a representative
represents the people and serves at their pleasure, and for
him to threaten them with legal action or lawfare is
just wrong on so many levels. You know I very much.
(19:21):
You know, during my time in the Air Force learned
that as an officer, you know, I was there to
lead mind, listen to people. But you do it through
servant leadership. And that's exactly what I will do as
the representative for House District one oh six. You work
for the people. You solve problems for them. You know,
you work with the mayors to to see that our
infrastructure grows in an appropriate rate. You do everything you
(19:44):
can to serve the people of the district. Whereas Jared
is threatening them with legal action and and you know
he doesn't even want a censure when he has richly
earned it. You know, I believe that the censure is
over five items. I'm certain it's more. But honestly, sir,
I've stayed away from that effort because if he takes
(20:04):
it into court, I don't want him to have any
ability to link me to it in any way.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Well right, and again, he would try to do that
because it is voter dissatisfaction with his conduct. Again, mister
Patterson's number one priority has been democrats, empowering democrats, enabling democrats,
giving democrats power they didn't earn the ballot box. And
now that he's been caught, now that he's been revealed,
now that he's been shown to be part of this
(20:31):
what I call the Gang of eleven coup, which started
with Joe Strauss way way back in two thousand and nine.
Now that he's been shown to be one of the
most unreliable, conniving, fake Republicans, he doesn't want the people
to take action, so he's willing to tarn further anybody
to be able to continue to screw over, to screw
(20:52):
over his constituents. I want to play something else. This
is him on the on the House floor, abusing his
power in the House. Else he is again making threats
against those who would dare hold him accountable. I just
want you to listen to part of this. You'll get
the you'll get the gist, and i'll get your reaction.

Would you be able to explain what the House Personnel
Manual on Policies and Procedures is.

That is not a proper parliamentary inquiry.

Their Speaker of Parliamentary inquiry. Not just state your inquiry,
is it true that this body's Personnel Manual on Policies
and Procedures and the House Rules serve as the main
sources of governing policy for House personnel and staff conduct.

That is not a proper parliamentary inquiry.

Their Speaker of Parliamentary inquiriture inquiry. Does the Personnel Manual
on Policies and Procedures outline that a member's employees are
prohibited from quote, attempting to or aiding anyone in an
attempt to influence any member of the House to vote
in favor or against any measure pending before the.

Legislation is not a proper parbleamentary inquiry.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
He goes on for another minute, minute and twenty seconds,
and you get the gist, mister Brock, that he is
trying to basically use his position and power inside the
House to threaten his fellow Republicans if they dare, if
they dare, try to hold him accountable for being anti Republican,

anti conservative.
Speaker 6 (22:17):
Your thoughts, Yes, sir, that is exactly what he was doing.
He's also, I believe, in that particular instance threatening you know,
an sr C member and a staffer for one of
the representatives from Denton County, and so you know, it
is typical Jared, you know, and that's one of the
reasons why I'm looking forward to seeing people actually come

out and endorse me. You know, a lot of them
are hesitant because he is so vindictive. It is, it's
just it shows his character over and over again. You know,
this is a man that cares only for himself. You know,
he really is a constituency of one and that is
Jared Patterson. He is the representative of the vendors and
not the people. And so I was embarrassed, honestly, frankly
(23:01):
for him to see him at the well of the
House rather than working to solve problems for the people
in House District one oh six, working to create blade.
You know, he called in that same video you played
earlier one of his fellow representatives many derogatory names, and
he actively working conspired to deny water to eighty five
(23:23):
thousand Texans in Wise County. You know, this is a
man that is unfit for office. And I hope that
the people of House District one oh six choose better.
You know, I will represent them I will serve them,
and I will remain true to the Republican Party's values
and enact all of the legislative priorities of the Republican
Party of Texas rights.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
And that's kind of my last question to you. If
the people in the one hundred and sixth district are
lucky enough to have new representation, who isn't a sellout,
who isn't a left wing kook masquerading as a Republican?
If they send you to Austin, what is your number
one priority? What do you think that the legislature needs
(24:05):
to get done that it is failed to get done.
Speaker 6 (24:09):
Well, sir. I mean it's across every social media platform,
it's in every poll. You know, Republicans and Democrats in
this state both need property tax relief. It is we
are drowning in additional taxes. I mean, just in the
last three sessions, property taxes have gone up almost forty
percent and added twenty four billion to the total. So
(24:30):
my initial plan, initial plan is to stop all property
taxes for senior citizens. You know, out of the eighty
six point eight billion, that's nine point nine billions, how
can I do that? I'm going to offset that immediately
by just cutting spending. We can make it to where
no textan is kicked out of his or her home
(24:50):
by just cutting spending, and we have to choose to
do that. The second thing I would do, sir, is
not require local elections for a one point five or
two percent zo point five percent, but for any tax
increase from school districts, special districts, cities or counties. That's
what has actually been killing Texas in terms of property
tax growth. I'm working with the Texans for Financial Responsibility
(25:13):
to craft a plan for overall property tax elimination. But Sir,
unlike most candidates, I'm going to tell you, it's going
to take some time. We have to do this smartly
and so that Texas can continue our economic miracle through growth,
and so that every city and every county can have
proper emergency services, which is what we all want. We
want Texas to tighten its belt and cut spending. We
(25:36):
want to see property tax relief, but we want to
see the economic miracle continue through through growth, and so
we've got to do it smartly. You know, working with
those guys has been a pleasure. You know, we're working
together to create a plan to stop the whole eighty
six point eight billion property tax industry and it can happen.
I just think, sir, it's going to be about a
ten year off rant, folks.
