I miss you, Mannes I have a question.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
We respect for me.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Down by breaking a major story, Chris, congratulations.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Listen to a single score podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
A massive writing of the proverbial ship took place about
a week and a half ago. The Secretary of War
Pete hag Seth stood in front of a room full
of generals and admirals. He brought them in. They all
claimed it was a waste of time, but uh, he said,
didn't want any of them to have the excuse, saying, oh,

(01:03):
your new directives got lost in an email, or got
caught in spam, or I never saw it. So he
brought them all into a room and he told them
to their face that they were going to have to
shape up, literally or ship out. These yes men, woke
generals who've been in place, put in place by Baraq
Houssein Obama, and put in place by Beijing Biden. These

(01:27):
individuals were facilitating the degradation of the United States Armed Forces,
the reduction of ar lethality, and of course patting their
own resumes and patting the pockets of a lot of
rich and influential people using the United States military as
a social experimentation. Petri Dish while doing all of this,

(01:47):
and they said no more. In the Trump administration, Defense
Secretary Pete Hegseth, This was written by Natural News. Apparently
they didn't get the memo that it's that it's actually
the Secretary of War, Pete hag Seth, has made a
bold statement against work ideology in the US military, emphasizing

(02:07):
accountability and alignment with the administration's vision. The Department of
They say Defense, but it's actually the Department of War
is implementing sweeping changes, including eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion
the DEDAIE program DIE initiatives, reinstating troops discharged due to
the chinaviris vaccine mandates, and reinstating a ban on transgender

(02:31):
individuals serving in the US military. The article continues, hag
Seth is closely monitoring the execution of President Trump's lawful
orders and has warned that generals who fail to align
with the administration's vision will be reassigned or replaced or fired.
The changes aim to refocus the military on its primary
mission of national defense combat readiness, rather than progressive ideologies.

(02:55):
Despite legal challenges, many military personnel are supportive of the
administration's efforts to roll back progressive regressive policies, viewing them
as a return to traditional values and a simplification of
the military's mission. Yes, simplification, you mean getting back to
what the military is supposed to do. My good friend,

(03:15):
Colonel Tony Schaeffer says, the military is there to break things.
That's their job. They're not there to be politically correct.
They're not there to be a social experimentation petritish. They
are there to serve the people of the United States
and make sure that we win wars and make sure
that that constitution remains in force. So Pete hag Seth

(03:37):
was doing what his commander in chief instructed him to
do and also where his passion is. So all I
heard in my circles was absolute support for this. Now
Politico and other left wing publications went out there and
decided to find the disgruntled aforementioned Obama, Beijing Biden generals

(03:59):
who probably didn't like what they were hearing and political writing.
The following article quote could have been an email officials
bok at heg Seth's general's meeting the last minute gathering
featured hundreds of senior military officials who swear an oath
to the Constitution attending something more akin to a campaign rally.
That's what they said. And it wasn't. It wasn't a

(04:21):
campaign rally, folks. Was it was a briefing. It was
an explanation by the Defense Secretary slash War secretary to say, look,
this is we're not going to be doing this anymore.
We're getting back to basics. We're getting back to what
the United States military was established to be now. Politico

(04:41):
also writes Defense Secretary Pete haig Seth, he is the
War Secretary Pete haig Seth, and his speech the top generals,
writes to Politico, was supposed to serve as a rallying
cry for military exceptionalism. But it didn't land that way
with many of the people it was targeting, not many,
a select few from I understanding, and of course Political
went out and found all these Obama eight, Beijing, Biden

(05:05):
eite left wing generals, numerous defense officials who watch senior
brass scramble to Washington then sit through a partisan speech,
partisan partisan. It had nothing. There was no partisanship in it,
as a matter of fact, it was saying we had
to get partisanship out of the United States military. Isn't

(05:28):
it funny how the politico would classify getting partisanship out
as being partisan. Yeah, because the leftists wanted partisanship in.
Didn't they sit through a partisan speech from President Donald
Trump and a return to old school military standards by Hegseeth,
We're left wondering why the event had occurred at all.

(05:51):
More like a press conference than briefing the generals, said
one defense official, not a general who like others, was
granted anonymity due to fears of retribute. Could have been
in an email. Yes, so mighty, so strong, so you know,
really convicted in what you believe. They couldn't go on record. Yes,

(06:13):
Pete hagg Seth had a word or two for these
types of officials in generals. If you don't like what's
going on in the United States and military, if you
don't like a return to basics, if you don't like
getting rid of diversity, inclusion, equity, communist bullshit out of
the United States and military, then do the honorable thing

(06:35):
and resign. More on this from the National Security brothers
coming up with the Salsado Storm Podcast.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
And now a word from my sponsors.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Oh jeez, if I hear another Obamacare commercial telling me
how great it is, I think I'm going to vomit.
In reality, folks are paying out the nose for crappy insurance,
meaning those commercials are just as much BS as Obamacare is.
What if you're under sixty five ineed quality affordable health coverage?
American Medical Plan specializes in under sixty five health insurance
plans that have zero copays at the doctor and no

(07:03):
deductible on all outpatient services, including surgeries. You pick your
doctors and hospitals. There are private plans and roll any time,
and there are thirty to sixty percent less than Obamacare.
If you're paying too much for your own health insurance,
call American Medical Plans. They are the answer to the
cancer that is Obamacare.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Today, the Democrats Schumer shutdown rolls on folks, and well,
let's hope that President Trump and the America First Coalition
is able to cut non essential government seven hundred and
fifty thousand non essential personnel, costing US what ninety seven
thousand dollars on average a year for their salaries. That's

(10:40):
seventy three billion dollars. You know who is essential the
folks who are in the arms services and our Secretary
of War, who had this to say yesterday.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
Listen, today is about people and it's about culture. The
topic today is about the nature of ourselves. Because no plan,
no program, no no reform, no formation will ultimately succeed
unless we have the right people and the right culture
at the War Department. If I've learned one core lesson
in my eight months in this job, it's that personnel

(11:13):
is policy.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Personnel is policy. The best way to take care of
troops is to give them good leaders committed to the
war fighting culture of the department. Not perfect leaders. Good leaders, competent, qualified, professional, agile, aggressive, innovative,
risk taking, a political faithful to their oath and to

(11:38):
the Constitution.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Everything that the Democrat appointees to the brass, the top brass,
and the promoted promoted by Democrats, aren't we need somebody
other than Democrats. We actually need pro American folks in there. However,
many Democrats are left that fit that description. Okay, fine,
but at this point, anybody put in there by Obama,

(12:01):
anybody put in there by Beijing Biden, probably the antithesis
of what you've just heard from the Secretary of War.
Let me bring in the National Security Brothers retired Lieutenant
Colonel Tony Schaeffer, NEWSMAX contributor, President of Project Sentinel, and
Brigadier General Blaine Holt, NEWSMAX contributor, Air Force veteran C
seventeen commander tech entrepreneur and co founder of Restore Liberty. Gentleman, Welcome,

(12:24):
good morning christ Where. I think it's important that we,
as conservatives and his patriots classify this as what it is. Colonel.
This was a restoration of what our military is supposed
to be, what was being outlined on multiple levels yesterday
by the Secretary of War.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
No, yeah, exactly. So there's a building that people really
get to see at Fort bel Boar is called the
Nolan Buildings Intelligen the Security Command is situated and inside
the wall there there's a quote from General Dennis Reimer,
former Chief of Staff of the Army and bolden and
big letters saying, and remember the army wins wars. That's

(13:03):
our job. And so this is a return to that principle.
The idea here is that, look, the military does a
few things super well. Those things should be the focus,
not being a petri dish or social causes of the left,
which is what we became. You know, the whole thing
of men wearing high zeals so we know what it

(13:24):
feels like is like, Okay, I don't know how that's
going to intimidate the Russians, just saying so we're getting
rid of all that. Pete made it very clear. Pete
x Jus made it abundantly clear that we're going back
to our core value of killing people, breaking things, holding
territory and domain. That's our job. And he made it clear.

(13:44):
And oh, by the way, he also said during that
same presentation, if you're not on board, get up now
and leave the room, because I'm telling you right now, Chris,
what's going to happen next is those who didn't get
up and get off their fast spreading ass yesterday, they
will be kicked out because they kind of know who
were or who who they the generals and admirals were

(14:05):
who were on board and supporting WOKE and those who
just kind of went along to tolerate it just so
they could stay in.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
So there you go.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah, our buddy amuse onlines mused that ozempic just had
its biggest client turn into the United States military as
as the orders. By the way, for those of you
who don't know, ozempic is a way control drug anyway,
speaking of the Secretary of War, gentlemen in general, if
you would listen to what the Secretary had to say

(14:33):
yesterday and this.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
And most of all, Lord, please keep my soldiers safe,
lead them, guide them, protect them, watch over them. And
as you gave all of yourself for me, help me
give all of myself for them. And Amen. I prayed

(14:57):
this prayer time since I've had the privilege of being
your secretary, and I will continue to pray this prayer
for each of you as you command and lead our
nation's finest Go forth and do good things.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Do good things. And this speaks directly to the Obama generals,
the Biden generals that I was referencing earlier. Go out
there and recognize why you are there as leaders and
what you're there to do. You're there to make sure
that your troops are the most equipped in the most
lethal fighting force so they come home to their families.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
Yes, absolutely, And I'll tell you that I really love
the humility and the grace that he lent so many
in that room that he vehemently disagrees with. And what
I mean by that is, rather than saying, hey, little
wokester communist Marxists, we know who you are. You don't

(15:57):
know much about war fighting, and we're going to eliminate
you today. And that's what the media was portraying. Soul
is gonna be a big purge, everybody's going to be gone. Instead,
he took this approach which I found really reassuring, which was, hey, look,
we're going in this direction. We have to our nation
security demands it. Our nation pays a trillion dollars a
year for security. They should get the best. So if

(16:20):
you don't like this direction, if you think it's the
wrong direction, we're going to give you the way out.
Just go ahead and resign honorably and will honor your service.
Will honor your service. You've given what thirty five forty
years of your life for this endeavor, this enterprise. Okay, great,
then then do the right thing. And I think that

(16:40):
what we're going to learn about in the coming days, Chris,
is we're gonna we're gonna learn about a reorganization. We're
going to learn about a refocusing of missions that prioritize
less the overseas mission, which will still be important. We're
not gonna, you know, go Fortress America. But we really
have the enemy inside the wire. And if we're going
after cartels, well, they're linked to all the bad guys
in the entire planet, and all the air fils that

(17:02):
are on Main Street and that's what he's shifting them to,
and it's high time, and we got to do that.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Colonel, I'll direct your attention to something else, the Secretary
of War was saying.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Eugene Sledge, in his World War II memoir wrote quote,
war is brutish, inglorious, and a terrible waste. Combat leaves
an indelible mark on those who are forced to endure it.
The only redeeming factors are my comrade's incredible bravery and
their devotion to each other. In combat, there are thousands

(17:34):
of variables. As I learned in Iraq and Afghanistan, and
as so many of you did in so many more places.
Leaders can only control about three of them. You control
how well you're trained, mostly how well you're equipped, and
the last variable is how well you lead. After that,
you're on your own. Our war fighters are entitled to

(17:57):
be led by the best and most capable leaders. That
is who we need you all to be. Even then,
in combat, even if you do everything right, you may
still lose people because the enemy always gets a vote.
We have a sacred duty to ensure that our warriors
are led by the most capable and qualified combat leaders.
This is one thing you and I can control.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
And we don't have that because of the Democrats interference
and what they have done, in my opinion, on purpose
to the United States military. Colonel, They've actually put individuals
who do not fit that mold on purpose to weaken
us your assessment.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Oh absolutely. One of my dear friends, General Tony Kukolo,
was you know, essentially prevented from becoming Chief of Staff
of the Army by the left because he enforced standards
on the battlefield in Iraq. Imagine this the man and
I admire full disclosure. You know, I talked some classes
at the War College while he was there. We were
in combat together and he was a consummate leader. He

(18:59):
was exactly what Pete Heekstat is talking about what we
need to kick people's behind to get them focused on
achieving military requirements. And then simply because he said, look,
if you get pregnant on my watch, I'm going to
send you home with some paper with a letter of reprimands.
That ended his career right there. That right there, So
that's done. You're not going to have this prissy Oh

(19:22):
my god, I can't believe you're enforcing standards across the board.
That's going to actually keep people safe and keep people
at a standard that's required to achieve victory. And that's
what Pete is saying here. It's like, hey, if there
were no more of this nonsense, we're not going to
permit you to be in leadership positions because of your

(19:42):
skin color, of because of who you sleep with or
don't sleep with, because you put on a cute dog
costume wall in uniform and think somehow that's being virtuous.
That's all done, and I think he made it very
clear that it's not going to be tolerated. And to
blame point, here's the door. Go take it on your

(20:03):
own before we have to force you out that door.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Exactly if you want to understand your white rage, don't
let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you. General, General,
last thing from the secretary, and then then I want
to have the discussion with the two of you about
the way forward. Listen, I don't want.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
My son serving alongside troops who are out of shape
or in combat unit with females who can't meet the
same combat arms physical standards as men, or troops who
are not fully proficient on their assigned weapons, platform or task,
or under a leader who was the first, but not
the best. Standards must be uniform, gender neutral, and high.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
There you go. And the left wing would celebrate, oh,
the first women in general, and it's like, can she
do the job? Well, no, that's not the point. The
fact she's the first women in general. Well, wait a minute.
The fact that she's not the best means that people
are going to die. And the left was okay with that.
Obama was okay with that. Joe Biden was okay with that.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
General.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
And then the first a black trans dog wearing outfit
modeler to be nominated a fleet admiral. It's like, wait
a minute, seriously, that this is what was checking the boxes.
That the idea of turning, as the colonel was saying,
General and the military into a social experimentation, patriot dish

(21:25):
is over. Those days are gone. That's not what the
u US military is for. And again, while we are
calling it a restoration not a change, yeah no.

Speaker 7 (21:35):
That's exactly right. And you know, I saw this evolution
into this terrible place in my final years on active duty.
I was still a colonel working for the Chief and
the secretary, and the diversity rage was on, and my
observation back then, and it's the same observation today is
the folks that get burned in this in the defense

(21:58):
department are the one who are the women, are the
minorities who absolutely through their own merits, through their own excellence,
have obtained a certain place, a certain command level. And
I can it all the time. I have seen amazing people.
And if you eliminate their classification, their demographic, they rise

(22:22):
to the top. Now, what happens in the diversity environment
is and you set up quotas and get rid of
the meritocracy, then everybody casts dispersion on everybody. Then it's like, oh, well,
you're a DEI hire, or you're a DEI general, or
you're this, and it's no, that's a warfighter. That's a strategist.
And what he's doing is he's peeling that out right now,
he's taking it out. And on this physical fitness stuff, good,
let's have physical fitness. But then I would throw something

(22:45):
back at Pete hegfiff, mister secretary, if you want physical fitness,
let's do that. But then again, go ahead and take
care of the food supply chain and the drug supply
chain that gets to your troops. We don't need food
with glycostate in it. We don't need mRNA vaccines and
food products with mRNA in them. We know that after
thirty five years of age, the human body basically capitulates

(23:06):
to all of these chemicals that have been put into
the food chain. So you go ahead and supply the
right types of food chains and the right types of
things that your troops need. And I would count that
as organized train and equipping. And then the general officers,
you're real warriors. Even if they've got a little girth
on them, Oh, they'll be just fine because their visceral
fat will come down. So it's one thing to say

(23:27):
you get into standards or else, but then management is
going to have to do the right thing and examine
all those factors and make us the most lethal combat
fighting force. It's not just enough to start screaming and
yelling at people.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Right, and that's going to actually let me let me
right where I want to go. Folks. We're talking to
retired Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer and Brigadier General Blaineholt, also
retired Newsmax contributors and service Country and Uniform. And by
the way, on the whole diversity thing, I want to
tell everybody within the sound of my voice right now,
diversity isn't exactly the best thing we should be aiming

(24:01):
for in the United States. Unity is what we should
be aiming for in the United States. We are we
should be regardless of our skin color, our creed, our
religious background. We should all be united as Americans. This
idea that we should covet diversity over unity is what
is dividing this country and putting us at each other's throats.
So those who worship at the altar of diversity can

(24:22):
go screw themselves as far as I'm concerned, because what
really we should be focused on is unifying as a people. Guys,
I want to talk about where we go forward from here.
How our military is. You know, they've got they got
the right mindset now, But now it's up to the
civilian government to make sure that they're the best equipped
and that they have the best equipment. Colonel, We're starting

(24:44):
to see some of the some of the nibbling around
the edges of the Trump administration to get back to
having our fighters have the best technologically advanced systems and
by the way, not giving them a China while we're
at it. But Where is the most efficiency that you
see that the War Department ought to be focused on
to make sure that our troops, once they're in shape,

(25:04):
ought to be the best equipped. Where do we need to.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Go well, getting politics and Congress out of the business
of acquisition, and let me explain General Eisenhower. President Eisenhower
said warned this in his final speech. It was the
military industrial congressional complex that people tend to forget that
he threw in Congressional Congress has dictated to the Department

(25:27):
of Defense how we will acquire military technology.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
It's horrible.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
It's horrid, and as Blaine will probably tell you, the
system is badly flawed. And that's the way it's designed
to be. It's designed to be the way it is.
So this has to change. If you look at we
did things during World War Two and other times of crisis,
we were able to acquire things, do great things with technology.
The atomic bomb, for example, that whole program was classified.

(25:55):
It's going to be it was cheaper in the long
run than the F thirty five, just saying we got
to exactly look at how we can change this. One
of the things the Army did during the last conflict,
launcher is something called the ref the rapid Equipping Force.
People recognize that all this procurement wasn't working for the
folks at the front having to do things. So the

(26:15):
Army came up with a program to examine how we
can acquire and rapidly feel technology that helped troops. Imagine
that we got to get back to that mindset and
get away from this idea that we have to allow
for F thirty five programs which will consume the Pentagon,
or the zoom Wall programs, which consumes the Navy. We
have to rethink this, and we have to rethink it
rapidly because we are going to be in a near

(26:37):
peer to peer conflict or potentially with them in the
near future, and we cannot afford to allow for Congress
to dictate to the military what we will have on
the battlefield.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Yeah, General, and that's such a great point that we
can't be fighting wars design and equipping our troops designed
on the needs of a particular member of Congress's district
or state. We've got to we've got to put aside
all of those interests go do it with something else
other than the United States military, because the stakes are

(27:08):
way too high there.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
Correct, I couldn't agree more and moreover, we can't be
spending money on the wrong things. If you're throwing four
million dollar missiles at two hundred thousand dollars drones, you're
doing the wrong thing. What we need to do in
our procurement reform stance is we need to look at
our current status of legacy weapons. Understand that there is

(27:33):
a thing called fifth generation warfare, which is everything from space,
cyber deception ops, information ops, and the like. And we
need to look at our current weapons and say, how
do we make that obsolete? How do I make that
aircraft carrier obsolete? Because when I start thinking that way,
and I'm building the weapons that I need for right

(27:54):
now to be in that perier to peer conflict, and
if we can't buy stuffs expensive than our enemies, well
then we're going to be in real trouble here, as
we found out as we depleted a lot of stocks
as we were trying to help Ukraine. Okay, how many
interceptors do you need? Well, we don't have that many interceptors.
So is industry and step with us. Are these defense

(28:16):
industrial based companies too big? Do we need antitrust to
make them much more leaner and many, many competing interests
so that we can get the best product at the
fairest price for the American people. Carving out the lobbyists,
carving out the government relations offices, carving out the lawyers,
carving out the staffers. The war fighters should be determining

(28:36):
what their requirements are to go fight wars. I know
that sounds revolutionary, but it really is the way things
should be.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Well. Hell, at this point, I was given the debacle
of the F thirty five, I would just settle for
something that is top of the line and that actually
functions in the combat role. You know, I just settle
for that at this point.

Speaker 7 (28:54):
I mean, baby, John McCain took care of that for you.
John McCain cut the F twenty two down to one
hundred and eighty one versus the seven sixty two we
had signed up for. Yeah, and that right now, before
the F forty seven comes out, that's the only jet
that keeps generals a week at night in our adversaries camps.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (29:12):
And this is what we've done to ourselves exactly through
the politics. And then the McCain record on the air
of fueling tanker is very very clear. He sabotaged us.
And what did they get? They got a lot more
money into the shipbuilding budget or ships for the Navy,
and the Navy can't even use their stupid zoom wall
because it's it doesn't meet their requirements.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
I believe, dear guy, and yes, and basically wasted money,
wasted effort, and again it leaves our country vulnerable. National
security Brothers, folks, retired Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer and Brigadier
General Blainholt, gentlemen, always appreciate the time and your service.
Thank yous. That's going to put a wrap on this
