Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, I'm you happy?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Keep book?

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Neil Smith and old Buck Buddy. Are you hearing Neil? Neil?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I miss you, mannes I have a question?

Speaker 4 (00:13):
Respect for me.

Speaker 5 (00:13):
Down by breaking a major story, Chris, congratulations.

Speaker 6 (00:17):
Listen to a single score podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
A couple of narratives developing out of the assassination, the
political assassination of Charlie Kirk. One of the narratives is
that Charlie Kirk deserved it because he was a racist. Now,
there are varying degrees of this coming out on the
political left. Folks. Here is, believe it or not, somebody
who classifies himself as a reverend. He's a fake preacher

(01:03):
by the name of Howard John Wesley. This guy is
the latest incarnation of the race hustlers, the Reverend Jackson
and Reverend Al Sharpton. Folks, I remember what Rush Limball
used to call them, the Justice Brothers. Well, this is
the next generation of the Justice Brothers. And here's the
Reverend Howard John Wesley asserting that Charlie Kirk was a racist.

(01:29):
Now you're gonna hear him say, oh, that didn't mean
he needed to be killed. But this rather lengthy. You
can't call it a sermon, folks, it was just pure,
unadulterated left wing hate and lies.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated. But I'm
overwhelmed seeing the flags of the United States of America
at half staff, calling this nation to honor and venerate
a man who was an unapologetic racist and spent all

(02:09):
of his life sewing sees of division.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
And hate into this land.

Speaker 7 (02:21):
And hearing people with selective rage who were mad about
Charlie Kirk but didn't give a damn about Melissa Hortman
and her husband.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Nobody said what happened to Melissa Hortman was right or
her husband. As a matter of fact, the conservatives came
out and decried that political killing as well killing by
a left wing extremist. Her crime was cooperating with Republicans. Thus,
some left wing nut job after.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
When they were shut down in their home, tell me
how to have compassion for the death of a man
who had no respect from my own life. I am sorry,
but there's nowhere in Bible where we are taught to

(03:16):
honor evil and how you die does not redeem how
you lived.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
And you know what, there's a whole bunch of people
inside of that congregation honoring evil right now by sharing
this sick, twisted man on who is lying about somebody
with whom he politically disagreed. I wonder what God says
about bearing false witness.

Speaker 7 (03:47):
You do not become a hero in your death when
you are a weapon of the enemy in your life.
I I can abhor the violence that took your life,

(04:08):
but I don't have to celebrate how you chose to live.
I am overwhelmed.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Yeah, you are a liar. Here's Terrence Williams appearing with
Charlie Kirk. By the way, Terrence Williams black, and I
think he has the appropriate response to the Reverend Howard
John Wesley.

Speaker 8 (04:34):
Okay, And I want to give Charlie some credit here, Okay.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
Back in twenty nineteen, Charlie.

Speaker 8 (04:40):
Kirk helped a lot of young blacks get to the
White House. He changed a lot of their lives. A
lot of them never imagine going to the White House.
And Charlie helped hundreds of young black boys and girls
go to the White House. Charlie, thank you for that.
Thank you, Charlie, Thank you, Charlie.

Speaker 9 (04:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Man.

Speaker 8 (05:00):
For people who want to call Charlie a rasis kiss
my black Ass's my language.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
Charlie Kirk is not a racist.

Speaker 8 (05:08):
I love this guy.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's an appropriate response to the
Reverend Howard John Wesley. Terrence Williams says you can kiss
his black ass, and your liberty loving Latino says you
can kiss my brown ass. You lying Charlatan, sitting there
whipping up your throngs of misinformed miscreants inside of your

(05:32):
inside of whatever the hell you call that. You can't
call it a church. Nobody, nobody that adheres and loves
adheres to God's laws or loves God can bear false
witness as readily as the Reverend Howard John Wesley did
and have him cheered on by a bunch of people
who don't know their rear ends from a home in

(05:54):
the ground. And then we've got this phenomenon springing up
about the left wing press. Now I played some sound
bites of the left wing press, even from the Fox
News channel, from the Karl Rove never Trump Network, trying
to claim that Charlie Kirk was no saint, thus he
kind of deserved what he got. Well, this this lady

(06:19):
by the name of Benny Ray Harmony. She resigned from
w i CS and ABC affiliate after they suspended her.
Do you want to know what this left wing fake
news operations suspended her for listen.

Speaker 10 (06:36):
Much for tuning into Marketplace today. So I want to
talk about something for a minute, and it is heavy,
So please bear with me. I want you to know
that it's okay if you feel sadness, It's okay if
you feel if you're grieving. Two days ago, I lost
a mentor, my first book, the first person who made
me believe in myself, that encouraged me to chase this

(06:59):
dream that you're watching right now, Charlie Kirk. There's a
lot going on in our world right now, in our country,
but I want to say one thing. Lean on your neighbors,
speak up for what you believe in. I don't care
what it is I want to share with you. One
of my favorite saying is that Charlie would always tell

(07:19):
us at the office, he would yell it from the mountaintop.
So please listen. When conversations stop happening, when individuals become wordless,
that's when violence begins. So if you do one thing today,
make it be with passion, with conviction. Stand up for
your friends, stand up for your beliefs and speak loudly

(07:42):
even if your voice chieks. Your words have meaning, your
values have purpose. Never forget that thank you, c K
changed my life.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Wow. No partisanship, no political commentary, and for that expression
of grief and appreciation for a man ABC twenty and
let me get the call letters in there again. W
I C S suspended her. Well, Benny ray Harmony resigned

(08:15):
after she was suspended for that, because that's the intolerant left, folks,
and Benny ray Harmony wasn't going to sit around and
beg them for her job. Then there's this other narrative
coming out that both sides do it right, both sides

(08:36):
do it. Yeah, you know, the the last Democrat who
ran for office was shot at twice, two assassination attempts. Well,
actually President Trump was shot at once and then the
other the other person was going to shoot at him. So, yeah,
that that happened to Democrats, right, Oh, no, it hasn't happened.

(08:58):
Tell me the the equipalvalent of Charlie Kirk, who is
in the ground being killed by an ideological opposite, somebody
who was his or her political opponent. Oh yeah, that's
not happening. Left wingers are not being put into the
ground by crazed right wingers. That's not happening. It's all

(09:19):
happening on one side. And shame on Fredo Cuomo for
trying to suggest otherwise. But thank goodness, he was talking
with our good buddy Benny. And here's what Benny had
to say about all that.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
I don't really care how we got here so much.
There is a lot of blame to go around. I
do not see you guys as victims. You give as
good as you get. There is a lot of anger,
there is a lot of exaggeration. It is all hate
for profit on the fringe of this battling binary political system.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
My question is, I'm my question is now what Charlie
Kirk has many advocated. Charlie Kirk has never advocated violence. Ever.
Charlie Kirk was only, I'm not saying, nonviolent, a nonviolent,
peaceful debater. He went into places where he knew he
was hated in order to engage.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
I never I agree, but he was not about to
say that is the same thing. It's not Chris. I'm
not talking about it with Charles. Benny, don't play games
with me. I'm giving you latitude because you deserve it,
because this was your friend, and this is scary and
it hurts, and it could have just as easily been you.

Speaker 6 (10:32):
Is wrong.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
It's wrong. But Benny, You'll never be able to Jenny
out Chris because I'll never dehumanize I hear that Joe
Biden diagnosis. If I hear that Joe Biden gets a
terminal cancer diagnosis, I'll say a prayer for him. I'll
say that I hope he lives the rest of his
days painless. That's exactly what I said in every person
that I know in respect, and I know them all

(10:54):
in my ecosystem said the same thing. Not a single
one of the ways celebrated Benny. He's even one of
us celebrated Joe Biden's terminal cancer diagnosis. Now I can
show you a endless series of tiktoking and celebration posts
and T shirts made and celebrating this travesty. There is
a fundamental difference of those who glorify death on the left,

(11:18):
and it is demon's sick and it's dark and it
needs to be but it needs to be.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yes, yeah, it needs to be disavowed. And it's not
the same thing. We are not the same Cuomo. We're
not the same Fredo as as these leftists. We're not
putting our political oppositions of the ground. We're not shooting
at them. We're not putting them burning their businesses, beating
them up, putting them in possible situations, celebrating their their

(11:47):
terminal cancer diagnoses. Benny Johnson was spot on on this,
and shame on Chris Cuomo. Shame on Howie Kurts for
trying to say there's some sort of moral equivalency between
what the left wing, the radical left is doing and
what conservatives have been doing. That's a specious lie. Into
hell with anybody who suggests otherwise. Bill O'Reilly visits the

(12:10):

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Our battle is not simply a political one.

Speaker 11 (15:49):
Above all, it is spiritual.

Speaker 7 (15:52):
It is spiritual.

Speaker 10 (15:52):
The spiritual warfare is palpable.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Good against evil. In my humble appear, and you know,
we'll get more into that in the show. But you
know what, folks, I don't know how he does it.
He just happens to be able to write the most
pertinent books to our time. And because a book process, folks,
takes takes a long time, and there's no way other

(16:17):
than good instincts and a lot of experience that Bill
O'Reilly can pull off what he normally does, which is
write timely books that are perfectly suited for our time.
Bill O'Reilly has been informing America as a broadcaster for
nearly fifty years. He's also a prolific writer, with an
astonishing nineteen number one ranked nonfiction books, including the historical

(16:39):
Killing Series, the best selling nonfiction series of all time, Folks,
the latest book Confronting Evil, Assessing the Worst of the Worst,
Bill wilcome back.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
Thanks for having me back, Chris. How you doing.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
I've had better weeks. I've got to be honest with you,
my friend, and we'll get into some of the current issues,
but I want to focus on the book because it is,
as I said, timely. These books grounded in history always
seemed to inform us of the present.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
Day.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Your book gets into the history of evil, and that's
what it confronts tell us about the general concept.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
Well, about a year ago I decided to write a
book about evil because they saw that it was on
the march in the USA and around the world. Only
other time in the modern era that this has happened
was in the nineteen thirties, when you could see that
after the Great Depression, there were governments forming based on hate,

(17:40):
and they were in Japan, they were in Germany, there
in Italy, there in Spain, and then it progressed into
World War two one.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Hundred million debt. Now we're not at that level now,
but I could see that we were getting to a
point where rationality was leaving the building. Because of President Trump.
It was an easy equation, and people were getting more
and more irrational. Some of them were getting more violent.

(18:11):
Certainly the nation was divided. So I said, you know,
let me remind people about what happened in the past,
and that these evil, evil people like Ayatollahoman emails, they Tongue,
Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, on and on could never have
done what they did without the cooperation of the folks,

(18:31):
the regular people who disbanded all kinds of moral guidance
and put them into power. And then when the book
comes out, this is Irian And an interviewer said to me, Chris,
this is haunting. The word to use was haunting. What
comes out on Tuesday of last week? And on Wednesday

(18:53):
I wake up and there's a putin lobb and missiles
into Poland ultra dangerous And a few hours later Charlie
Kirk is assassinated and I went, whoa, And it was
just obviously happenstance. But the book Confronting Evil is so

(19:16):
clear about what could happen from now on that it's
almost he almost have to read the book.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yes, And you know, folks, history, as is always the case,
informs us of our present, especially when it comes to
the left. The things the tactics we're seeing today are rinse, uh, shampoo, rinse, repeat.
That's what they' that's what they've done throughout human history.
Let me focus on Mao's China, which is, by the way,

(19:49):
still a plague on the planet today. It has been
suggested that Mao's China is the deadliest regime continuing regime
in human history. Did your research bear that out well?

Speaker 5 (20:03):
He's the worst human being ever to walk the planet.
Mauzi Tong twenty million dead his own people, these old
people starve them to death. And you'll see why and
how it all came down. As you know, Chris, I
was in China in May and I went over there

(20:25):
to address the pullet Bureau. It was an amazing situation.
And China now could go either way. It could become
an enemies of the United States to the extent that
danger would be here like Putin, or it could decide
to cooperate and camp down the horror in the world.

(20:50):
It's not run by Mao any longer. Although mouse pictures
everywhere in Beijing shocking I could kill twenty imagine killing
twenty million Americans and Asia picture all over the United States.

Speaker 10 (21:01):
I know.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
I mean, it's just incomprehensiblely because the Chinese. Number one,
they don't know what happened. There's no freedom of expression
or education or anything there. And number two, they've never
had a day of freedom in their life from the
time that nation emerged from the cave dwellers. There's never

(21:22):
one day where the Chinese people been free. So they're
accepting of barbarity to a level that Americans could not understand.
But anyway, the evil that comes out of these soutalitarian regimes,
and Putin's the main threat right now is his idol
is Stalin, another guy, mass murderer of his own people.

(21:45):
And Putting's doing a pretty good job with a million
Russian casualties in Ukraine so far, my god. So anyway,
most Americans look inward, and that that's why the Charlie
Kirks is much more than just a day to day occurrence.
My belief is this has crystallized the danger of evil

(22:12):
to Americans who are not ideology, which is most of them.
They know something's wrong.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Now, Yes, indeed, Bill O'Riley our guest, right now, folks,
the new book Confronting Evil, Assessing the Worst of the Worst.
Now China mouths China, which still exists today, the worst
of the worst. But they have partners and they have
been undergoing unrestricted warfare in the recent decades. If you
read Sweitcher's book, you'll understand the nature of that. And

(22:44):
the drug cartells is who they've partnered with. President Trump finally,
one president has decided to start taking on these cartels
and their partnership with communist China, they're evil too.

Speaker 9 (22:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
We have two chapters in confronting evil on a drug cartels,
one of Mexico, one in Colombia. You know the names,
El Chapo and on and on. The damage that they
do to the world is incalculable. And the fact that
Mexico and you guys know this better than anybody, allow

(23:17):
those cartels to take the country over, literally take it over,
is shocking. And even to this day when Trump is
trying to get some kind of an arrangement with Claudia
Shinbaum to go after these cartels and eliminate them, which
is what hats to happen, all right, Shinebomb's resistant. This

(23:39):
is enabling evil, Chris. So the part of the book is,
look here the evil do is drug cartels, Okay, is
what they do, is how they operate. Here's who they are,
and we get right inside that whole operation. But they
could not exist without the cooperation of Mexico City. Yep,

(24:03):
Prutin could not exist without the cooperation of the Russian people.
You couldn't. And so you know, I understand the danger
going up against a prudent who will kill you in
the blink of an eye. The Cartel's now I kill you,
but it'll kill your entire family. I got it. But

(24:23):
there's got to be some kind of organization of some
kind of will to stop the evil or the evil
gets totally out of.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Control, concur and that brings me to the evil that
we've witnessed since last week. And you know, my I've
had a couple of Republicans on my program since it happened, Bill,
and I've said, you know, what are you guys doing?
What do you got the next primary that I have, Bill,
I've I've set up a criteria. I will judge any

(24:55):
Republican or any politician, frankly, on how well they defend
me in mind from these koops, from these loons, from
these violent thugs. And I want to play for you
two sound bites, one from MSNBS, one from CBS. The
first one is Matthew Dowd. The other one is this
Nate Burleson character over at CBS. One of these men

(25:18):
was fired for basically saying the same thing MSNBS. First,
listen to this.

Speaker 11 (25:23):
He's been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger
figures in this who is constantly sort of pushing this
sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups.
And I always go back to hateful thoughts lead to
hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I

(25:44):
think that's the environment we're in that people just you
can't stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have
and then saying these awful words and not expect awful
actions to take place.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
And then here comes Nate Burleson.

Speaker 9 (25:56):
Speaking of this tragedy. Is this a moment for your
party to reflect on political violence? Is it a moment
for us to think about the responsibility of our political
leaders and their voices and what it does to the masses.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
So Charlie Kirk, a conservative, gets assassinated on live television
broad Daylight and CBS says, isn't it time that you
Republicans focusing on your rhetoric and political violence, No mention
of the left, which has been out of control, pure
evil in my opinion, Bill, what do you think?

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Well, I think Brolins that I heard himself probably beyond repair,
doubt is gone, won't come back. So there is a
mechanism in place now to punish people who are misleading
the American public. Now, as you know, Chris, you know
me for a long time. I stay out of the
ideological realm. I am a problem solver, fact finder. But

(26:58):
the facts are these that in America today, the far left,
the progressive movement, is much more dangerous, much more dangerous
than anything on the far right. And the reason is centrality.
The far right. These koops, they're not organized, they're not

(27:22):
big money behind them. They certainly don't have a megaphone anywhere.
The far left progressive movement has enormous money behind it.
George Sorows was cited by President Trump. Enormous money. And
they have five five national news agencies that are sympathetic

(27:42):
to them, a thing Networks and MS whatever. It is
okay when you have that kind of a megaphone and
you are calling for total upheaval of American society, that's
what the progressive movement wants, want socialism, it wants no
law enforcement. They're calling for a total dismantling of traditional America.

(28:08):
And you're making an equivalent scene your party. Now, this
brotherson guy, I kind of feel sorry for him, Chris.
He number one shouldn't be in the position. But CBS
doesn't care. He's not smart enough. What I just said
is irrefutable. I don't even know if he would understand
it if you were involved with this conversation with you

(28:31):
and me. I kind of feel sorry for him. But
he's through, and that's a positive in the sense that
I don't believe in censorship. I'm not a guy that
wants everybody fired on the progressive left. That's not what
I do, Okay, But when you simply mislead your audience
out of ignorance or ideological fervor, you don't believe, you don't,

(28:54):
you don't deserve the platform.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
I'm with you. I'm with you one hundred percent. You
have a background in education, you were teaching high school
at one point in your career, and I think we
cannot ignore as a society. We had an incident here
at a young lady in a college at a very
left wing college, University of North Texas, who was caught
on camera sharing the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the

(29:21):
entirety of the class laughing and joking, and one little
girl in the entire class that guys, we shouldn't be
we shouldn't be celebrating the assassination of a man. He
had a family at kids, and the response from this,
I believe in doctor NATed. Little girl was just sick

(29:42):
and sad. She spouted off every left wing talking point
that you could probably hear Maxine Waters or the mainstream
press echo about Trump being a Nazi, about right wingers
being Nazis and brown Shirts and all this kind of stuff.
And then she threw in at the end of her
mientary bill that nobody, none of you people on the

(30:03):
right care about the Palestinians, so we don't care about
Charlie Kirk. This is the poison that is being fed
into Generation Z by organized left wing education and organized
left wing media, and it's a huge concern for me.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Well, you're right in a sense that most colleges and
universities in America now are factories to promote progressive ideology,
and that's what they are. Not all you can find decent,
decent schools, but it's not easy. But a girl like
that in North Texas State is emotionally ill. Yeah, that

(30:48):
woman should be flagged by school authorities, should be into
counseling because that's the kind of danger that gets worse
and worse and worse and worse. So this guy who
a legend assassinated Kirk, and he did it. I mean
I have to use the word allegedly because we do
believe in due process.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
Here.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
This guy, over a period of time became murderous because
he lived in that world that decesitized him. And how
many people are there like that? Millions? So the school
authority should be flagging these people in high school and college,

(31:30):
but they're not because essentially many educators are cowards. They're cowards.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
