Brittany talks to us about how she made the leap from working a 9-5 job in the corporate world into living her dream of being a full-time musician. Her number one piece of advice to those on a similar path? Network with those in your desired industry.
She doesn’t hesitate to explain that “it takes ten years to be an overnight success.” And in this marathon, everyone’s path is different. In fact, Brittany was nominated for a Grammy while she was still working her corporate job!
Brittany shares how she navigates the challenges that come with building a brand and career in the music industry. Asked about dealing with discouragement and rejection, Brittany says that a lot of her motivation comes in simply “finding my ‘yeses’ rather than focusing on the “no’s”.
