Welcome to the simple walk fifty days of light. Today
is day thirty four a sound mind, and it's time
to declare war on every line that's been whispering to
(00:51):
your thoughts.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Because God didn't give you fear, he didn't give you confusion,
he didn't give you torment.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
He gave you a sound mind. The world is flooded
with instability. Mental battles are rising, anxiety is normalized. But
the word of God has not changed. Two Timothy one
(01:25):
in seven reminds us God has not given us the
spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of
a sound mind. That means anything tormenting your thoughts is unauthorized.
(01:46):
Let me say that again, anything anything, anything tormenting your
thoughts is unauthorized. Fear is a spirit, not just a feeling.
We often treat fear like a mood, but fear is spiritual,
(02:11):
and when it takes root, it tries to corrupt your perspective.
It tries to weaken your authority and shut down your peace.
But you weren't built to collapse under pressure. You were
built to stand in truth, walk in power, respond in love,
(02:39):
and rest in clarity. That's the fruit of a sound mind.
Let me say it again. You were built to stand
in truth, walk in power, respond in love, and rest
(03:00):
in clarity. What is a sound mind? The sound mind
is disciplined. It is sober woo woo, is not tossed
around by every thought, opinion, or attack. It doesn't panic
(03:25):
when trials come. It is settled in who God is,
not who you are. But it is settled in who
God is and rooted in who you are through him.
A sound mind nose, I don't have to fear. A
(03:50):
sound mind nose. God is still in control. A sound
mind nos im crazy. I'm under construction. I like that.
Don't you like that? I'm not crazy, I'm under construction.
A sou mind knows. I'm not what I feel. I'm
(04:16):
what he said. Speak to the spirit, not just the situation.
When fear shows up, speak to it. When anxiety hits
out of nowhere, speak to it. When your peace is disturbed,
(04:42):
speak to it. Don't just fight mentally, speak spiritually. Speak
to the spirit, not the situation. Declare I rebuke the
spirit of fear, which is what God calls it, the
(05:04):
spirit of fear. I declare I reclaim my mind in
Jesus's name. I declare my thoughts or submitted to God.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I declare I walk in power, I walk in love.
I walk in clarity. My prayer to day Father, today,
not tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Today, I renounce every lie and enemy planet in my mind.
I silenced the voice of fear, trauma, and torment. You
did not give me fear. You gave me power. You
gave me love, and you gave me a sound mind.
(05:59):
Lord revealed with fear. Try to tear down, Oh Father, hell,
what anxiety tried to infect? We don't just keep anxiety
and toss it around. I have anxiety. I like anxiety.
I am full of anxiety. What heal what anxiety tried
(06:26):
to infect? And settle my thoughts in your truth. From
this moment forward, I walk in a sound mind and
Jesus' mighty name.

And so before you go, if this word brought peace
to your thoughts, don't let this stop with you.
