Are You Tied To Yesterday’s Ashes?

Scripture: Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Highlights:

You’ve stared long enough at dry places.
You’ve cried over what didn’t survive… over doors that closed without warning.

But here comes the word of the Lord:
“I will do a new thing… now it shall spring forth.”

God doesn’t wait for your perfect moment. He moves in power, even in the middle of your mess. Even when it feels too late. Even when all you see is desert.

In this episode, we’re shaking the dust off old expectations and stepping into the river of new beginnings.
Because God isn’t recycling the past…
He’s doing something brand new.

Are you tied to yesterday's ashes? The simple walk fifty
days of light, day forty one? A new thing. The
scripture Isaiah forty three or nineteen says, behold, I will

do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall
you not know it? I will even make away in
the wilderness and rivers in the desert. There comes a
point in the walk of every believer when God says,

(01:12):
forget what you've seen, let go what you've known. I'm
doing a new thing. You've cried enough over what was.
You've mourned the doors that closed. You've stared long enough

(01:37):
at the dried up river bed where hope used to flow.
But here the Lord today, Now it shall spring forth,
Not later, not when it all makes sense, Not when

(01:57):
you feel ready. Now, right in the place where nothing
has grown for years, right in the season where you've
questioned your strength, right in the wilderness, right in the desert,

God said, I'm making a way. I'm releasing rivers. Are
you tied to yesterday's ashes? The new thing doesn't look
like the old, It doesn't follow your blueprint or timeline.

(02:39):
It doesn't require permission from your past. It just begins,
So don't miss it. Looking backwards. Don't miss it waiting
for the crowd to approve, And don't miss it because
you're still tied to yesterday's ashes. God is the same,

but he is not still, He is not stuck, and
he is not silent. He moves forward and calls you
to follow. This new thing. It has your name on it.
Let me say that again. This new thing, it has

(03:30):
your name on it. It was made with you in mind,
and it's coming forth. Now, let's pray Heaven a father.
I lift up every heart that's been in a waiting room,
every soul that has lived in pause, and every spirit

that has been clinging to what used to be. Break
the chains of yesterday's loosen the grip of fear that
keeps us stuck, and open our eyes to the new
thing you are doing. Where we see wilderness, create a

pathlrd ooh, where we see desert, let rivers overflow. God,
you are not limited, so don't let us limit you.
We surrender our expectations and receive your newness in Jesus'
