The Simple Walk: 50 Days of Light
Day 44 – Write the Vision

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2–3 (KJV)
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Episode Summary:

This isn’t just a call to dream—it’s a call to document.

In today’s message, we step into prophetic instruction. God told Habakkuk to write the vision and make it plain—because there’s power in recording what Heaven reveals. Vision that stays in the mind gets lost. But vision that’s written? It multiplies, it speaks, and it moves others to run.

Whether you’re in a season of waiting, building, or birthing, today’s word will refocus you:
Don’t just pray it—write it.
Your future needs a blueprint. Your family needs a map. Your purpose needs documentation.

Because what God whispered to you in secret… will one day speak loudly in the open.

Today’s Prayer Excerpt:

“Lord, I will not bury what You’ve shown me.
I will not dismiss the dreams You’ve planted.
I will write the vision. I will make it plain.
Let it stir the runners. Let it outlive me.
And let it speak.”

Speaker 1 (00:12):
The simple walk fifty days of light, day forty four.
Write the vision, document the stuff Scripture Habaka two through

(00:33):
three said, And the Lord answered me and said, write
the vision and make it plain up on tables that
he may run that readeth it. For the vision is
yet for an appointed time. But at the end it

(00:56):
shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it,
because it will surely come. It will not tarry. There
comes a moment in every walk with God where Heaven

(01:18):
presses pause and says, write it down. In other words,
document it, not dream it, not hope for it, not
just pray over it. But write the vision. Why because

(01:45):
what's written has direction, what's written can be passed down.
What's written has authority. If the vision is still in
your head, it's a wish, But when it hits the page,

(02:07):
it becomes a plan. God is telling the prophet, I'm
not showing you things so you can wonder. I'm showing
you so you can document. Because there will come a
time when your emotions will try to erase what God

(02:28):
told you in the spirit. Let me say that again,
because I know many of you have come fronted this.
There will come a time when your emotions will try
to erase what God told you in the spirit. That's
why you must write it. Because paper doesn't panic. Oh,

(02:50):
I like that. Paper doesn't panic. Ink doesn't forget. Vision
will speak. The vision may terry, but it will not lie.
It may feel delayed, but it's still alive. It may

(03:15):
go quiet, but it hasn't died. God said at the end,
it shall speak, and said at the beginning, It said
at the end, it shall speak. That means the thing
you wrote in faith will one day stand up and

(03:38):
declare I told you I was real. Write it in fire, ooh,
write it in warfare. Write it when nobody believes you,
Write it when the storm is raging. Because God is

(03:59):
watching to see what you do with the revelation he
gave you. What did you do with the revelation God
gave you? And if you don't write it, how will
those who come behind you run with it? The vision

(04:20):
is not just about you. It's about the ones assigned
to run, to build, to carry it forward. Let's pray, Father,
you are the God who gives a vision and the
God who honors obedience. Today I lay aside hesitation, I

(04:48):
lay aside fear of failure. I lay aside impatience, and
I pick up the vision, the one you whispered in
my spirit, the one you branded in my soul. Help
me write it plainly, Help me carry it boldly, Help

(05:15):
me wait faithfully because I believe it will speak. I document.
Let the runners see it, Let the doughters hear it.

(05:37):
Let the appointed time I come forth. Oh, I trust
you God, and I choose to write in Jesus's name
a man before you go. If today's word pierced you,

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
