Day 47 – Stay Lit🔥

Scripture: Matthew 5:14–16 (KJV)

Ye are the light of the world.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;
and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.


🔥 Stay Lit.

That’s the message.
That’s the charge.
That’s the mission.

In a world dimmed by deception, fear, and compromise…
God has called you to be unmistakably visible.

You are not background light.
You are not ambiance.
You are the radiant, undeniable flame that disrupts darkness.

And Jesus said plainly:

“No man lights a candle and hides it.”

So if God lit you—
Don’t you dare go dim.

Don’t shrink to fit in.
Don’t mute your voice for comfort.
Don’t water down your truth because it might offend someone’s shadow.

🔥Stay lit in love.
🔥Stay lit in integrity.
🔥Stay lit in fire and power and holiness.

Because the truth is…

You don’t light yourself.

You are lit by God.
And what God lights, hell can’t put out.

Keep burning even when others walk away.
Keep shining even when the night is long.
Because somebody is watching…
And your light is leading them home.


🙏🏽 Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
You said I am the light of the world, and I receive that call.
Help me to shine in the places You’ve assigned me,
To be unashamed and unwavering,
To carry Your fire into dark corners
And ignite faith, truth, and healing.

Let no storm dim my fire.
Let no criticism silence my flame.
Let my life reflect Your glory.

In Jesus’ mighty name…
Amen.

The simple walk fifty days of light, day forty seven.
Stay lit. The scripture is Matthew, Chapter five, verse fourteen
through sixteen, and it says, ye are the light of

(00:36):
the world. A city that is set on a hill
cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and
put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and
it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

(00:58):
Let your light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works and glorify your Father, which is
in heaven. You're not just a believer. You are a flame,
and the world is getting darker. The question is it

(01:19):
can you burn? The question is will you stay let
in this hour? Your faith has to do more than flicker.
Your testimony must shine beyond Sunday service. Because Jesus didn't

(01:39):
call you a flicker or a glowstick. He called you
the light of the world. That's a metaphor. That's a mantle.
Let me say that again. That's not a metaphor. That's
a mantle. You are a city set on a hill,

(02:04):
not tucked away in silence, not hidden under shame, not
choked out by fear, but lit to be seen, lit
to guide others lit to glorify God. Let's break this down.

(02:29):
A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
God intentionally placed you where you are. Your life is
a landmark. Your presence shifts atmosphere. You weren't positioned to
bend in. You were set on a hill to stand out.

(02:57):
Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a God didn't light you up so you could dim
down for people's comfort. You weren't saved to be silent.
You weren't delivered to disappear. The enemy wants you hidden
because your light exposes his darkness. Let your light so

(03:20):
shine before men. You don't shine to be applauded. You
shine to reveal Jesus. Your light must speak louder than
your title. Your light must outlast your trials. Your light
must draw eyes not to you, but to the Father

(03:41):
in heaven. So how do you stay lit? You stay
in the word, You stay in prayer, You stay accountable,
You stay saturated in the spirit. You guard your oil

(04:01):
because the wick will fail without the flame, and the
flame dies without the oil. Beloved, don't let religion snuff
you out. Don't let wounds called you to withdraw don't
let weariness make you forget your fire. You're not too much,

(04:28):
you're not misplaced, and you're not going out. You were
born to burn, you were lit for this generation, and
you were felled to shine. So whatever happens, stay lit.

(04:51):
Let's pray. Father, you didn't save me to sit in
the shadows. You called me to burn. You fill me
with light, and you place me to be seen. Today.
I renounce every voice that told me to hide. I
rebuked the fear that tried to cover me. I stir

(05:11):
up the fire again. I stir up the fire again.
Let me shine with boldness, Let me stand with holiness.
Let my life glorify you openly, because I am a light,

(05:39):
a city on a hill, a candle on a stand,
and I choose today to stay lit in Jesus's mighty name. Ammen,
