Speaker 1 (00:42):
Welcome, welcome, well God, I'm you're listening to the Sports
Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning
to you out there and listening. Land glad to be
here with you. We are halfway through this month of June.
Bad producer, stop typing stuff. You are distracting me. Thank

(01:05):
you very much. I've been sitting here for thirty minutes.
Good morning to you. Good morning, Good morning, Command, Gee morning,
good morning bad I mean big Kenny, all right, what's up?
What's going on with you? I mean the same thing
just ain't changed, nothing change, And I just saw you

(01:27):
do it again, sir. Let's not get back to that.
Move your right hand away from that device, please, bad producer,
your right hand move it away from the device. I
just saw you scroll up the screen, so relax. The
only person need to be pushing buttons right now is
me and command you Gregg right, that's it. Everybody else

(01:49):
should be face forward, Mike ready until commercial break. Kind
of like stephen A watching Solitaire doing the game. You know,
I would need to see somebody good morning til you're
glad to be here with you. NBA Game of five tonight.

(02:10):
I know we expected this. I don't know why you
people going to Adam Silver, you know, wanting him to
ask questionings about low ratings. I mean, y'all are so
wrong for that. You knew when these two teams were
matched up that the ratings might be a little down.

(02:32):
If the game didn't fit within Big Kenny's schedule, it's
not going to necessarily make time. I mean, I've watched
like runs of it, but I haven't. I can't say
that I watched the whole quarter consistently, But you know,
for a second or two, I'll let it grab my

(02:55):
attention until, you know, anything, I think of something else
in my mind to watch and not to get off script.
But well we don't actually have a script, so we're
kind of impromptu round here kind of green lighted Captain
America Brave World? Who who who green lighted that? Disney?

(03:19):
Did they ABC? Have you seen Anthony Mackie playing Captain
America with the Red Hawk, with the red How I
didn't think it's gonna be term like this. Yeah, they
messed up. They messed up. I fell asleep. I woke up.

(03:40):
I tried to stay up. I fell asleep again, trying
to not to to Nodds and yeah, the two nods
at home, you give it two Z So then I
just stopped it with about forty two minutes to go
in it like I'm done, and I don't even wow,
that's a bad movie. That's bad.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
No, No, I'm saying when you you get invested into
a movie like Past the Turn, like it's an hour
and a half into a three hour movie, and you go,
you know what bro right before?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I don't even care. I don't even care. I don't
even care how it turns out.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
It looked like it was gonna get interesting, and it
never get it could never get this interesting.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But my crew is here. How was your weekend, guys?
Pretty good?

Speaker 7 (04:24):
So?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Can I guess it? Awesome? I had a fantastic weekend?
Can I can I get a little raw from the
fifty five Life good and the fifty five and up
over here real good, roar tiger great.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
It had sounded like bad decision making right there because
of fifty five and up.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Honestly, life better than It's pretty easy right now for
ye olds over there.

Speaker 8 (04:54):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
See I'm talking about right there this select oh but
great weekend. I got a chance went down to watch
out the UFC fight at State Farm Kamara Uzman versus
your King Buckley. They were the main event. And wow,

(05:19):
wow long at a sporting event I've ever attended. What
it's the longest sporting event I ever started at seven,
longer than baseball. Yes, it started seven. The last match
didn't in until one thirty. How many matches there were

(05:40):
I want to say thirteen. That's that's too many. Work
hard on the car, that's too many for one car.
After and I'm talking about just the regular break. I'm
not talking about where the break was so long You're like, man,
they've been going out of the ring. I'm talking abot.
It was just enough time to clear the ring of

(06:03):
one fight, everything reset and bring to other people. So
It wasn't those long thirty minutes breaks that.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Sounded like a comedy show, thirteen people back to back
to back, where you thought, okay, this might speed up
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
And that was the thing most of them, which was
a very interesting point to watch. I hadn't watched that
long the UFC action when I first got introduced to it.
I used to watch like entire cards, and then I
kind of just started for the one or two names
I would know. Being in the arena, you're watching the

(06:44):
whole thing, so regardless of whether you know the name,
which still brings excitement. But you didn't see a lot
of action as far as like most of it, nobody
showed you more than boxing. Okay, you didn't get a

(07:08):
lot of the wrestling or the karate, the jiu jitsu part.
You just got a lot of You would have thought
you were had a boxing match there for a while.
They would spend a good three three and a half
minutes of each round more on their feet in a
boxing you know, And I think, I don't know if

(07:31):
that's something they've tried to clean up, but it was
fight maybe ten nine before you got a flying knee.
It's like, oh man, you had watched so long you
forgot that was legal? Right the last the guy was damn,
I forgot you can hit him with the flying knee.
You know, I wanted to ask you about that.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
You've shared with us how you were a judge at
a barbecue contest, and if you don't clean your palate
after a certain number of bitesything starts to taste the
same with MMA.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Thirteen people on a card by number six?

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Does it just look like people punching each other at
this point, like you don't even really care who's in
the ring anymore. It's just somebody needs somebody or something. Well,
the thing that they they did do a good job
of staggering the weights. Oh by they didn't just give
you all flyweights in a row. Okay, so it was

(08:27):
a flyweight to middle waight like anyway. Some more prone
to tune into that, like hold on, no, dude's a
bigger Let me see how this big man go get
knocked down.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
So they had one twenty five, one thirty weight and
then they'll go up to one sixty is their max.
It was no, I think once you over two hundred, yeah,
I think there's one and then over that heavy yeah,
it's heavywhere heavy so, but it was just very interesting

(08:59):
to see it amount of boxing. Really. Kamara Usman, who
was a liast fight he had the technique. He was
just with Buckley. He was he would wait about two
minutes into each round and then he would shoot him,
which means that he would go for his legs. It's
more of a wrestling technique. He would scoop him down
to the ground, get him over on the fence, and

(09:22):
then just rub his face and back into that fence
and you could just see him him bleeding and it
was like he was just gonna I'm gonna slowly bleed
you out. And I'm talking about three They went five
five minute rounds. He had him up again about twenty
minutes and he just was grinding him against that scraping

(09:45):
your face against the chain strategy. That's a strategy. I'm there,
you know, just a strategy of a scrape dude face
on the fence out all part of your vettage. Use
the Yeah, I mean it was, I mean it was
don't even know you could do that until the point
that by the last round. The crowd spent the whole

(10:09):
last round cheering that Buckley finally didn't allow him to
do that to him, right, yeah, get your face off.
And it was a clear cut victory scrubbing that man's
face off. The face, you know, with all the sweat
in the rubber, you could just see the blood dripping

(10:30):
where he's just pressing his like you're saying for those
people who watch wrestling, but this is just I'm gonna
take my one hundred and eighty pounds, I'm gonna lay
it on top of you, push you against this fence, intentionally,
try to run right back on you, back and forth
on this fence, and when you try to get up,

(10:51):
I mean elbow you back. And it was just three
minutes of that in each round. I said, well, this
is his technique. Everybody got a technique to how they're
going to give It was the first. It was the
first when in like four years it was us mine
as Dana White in the building. I didn't see Dana White.
They did have, you know, Vander holy Field came in

(11:12):
and watched it was it was a packed out crowd.
It had to be good, fifteen thousand people at State
Farm Arena, Far Marina. And so what's the rule God
to cut you out? Since she said, you went to
one point thirty.

Speaker 9 (11:24):
They cut the music off at twelve, I mean performers concerts,
so they had they had to pay the fine.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
And I would imagine for them going past that time. Yeah,
they don't cut your they don't cut your music off.
Oh they cut Bootsy off one time I was at
the Boosy probably wasn't willing Birthday that he would pay
the over Well, it was a birthday bash event, and
so so Birthday bade it probably paid. They didn't as
much as they were going to pack pay. They probably
didn't sign the extension all right, And and when we

(11:51):
UFC comfortably.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Went like, yes, whatever it costs, just bailus. I wanted
to ask overall one to ten, how would you rate the.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Event as for as I would say, if it was
uh eight and a half, okay, it was a good
event to catch it was the only thing was wrong
with it was the lens like you can and I
got there three fights in son you were still there too,
anything like Greg was saying, I would cut down to
maybe see how but the risk is if five or

(12:24):
six of them only go a couple of minutes because
there was only one quick knockout about forty seconds into
the first round, his kid from Augusta caught this guy
and hit him. I thought he had killed him. He
dropped him to the point he fell on his face.
He couldn't even catch hisself.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
I was like.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
That glass. We weren't we weren't expecting that.

The next level.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yees, yees, you know how we do it. Side side,
ain't going nobody.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Welcome back to this one shock show, this one shock,
Wayne Gandec this morning to you. I didn't listening land
Glad to be back. And speaking of back, I was
back watching w NBA Action this weekend. Uh, she came back.
So I came back one of those, the great one.

(16:55):
The league came back, I mean, holy came back. Sack
three o'clock, got me good workout in just right before
ready three o'clock. The league came back to life for
the w NBA. Caitlin Clark pack on the court. The
game's just different.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
We assume it's Caitlin Clark because her impact it might
have been a doppel gang.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Hey, look, we're gonna get her snunt double.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
She's sitting it home with a whole knee replacement, and
they on some don't worry aboudy, Caitlyn. We can't afford injury,
can afford You'll play tonight, but I can't play.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
You will, Caitlyn Clark back in action on Saturday, taking
on the New York Liberty, who were nine and oh uh,
the Indiana Fever barely keeping it together with Caitlyn Clark out,
but with her in a uniform, the game just changes
for the whole w n the A young lady. She

(18:01):
came out, gave you twenty five first half points once again.
She ended up with thirty two points down, assists, nine rebounds,
and she just makes the game.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Two home runs, a stolen base, stolen base. She had
two home runs. She she threw somebody out from left field,
and then she had sixteen rebounds.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
And I'm bringing this up, guys, because the w n
b A is in trouble without this young lady. They
go right back to where they want to define trouble.
Trouble meaning that your numbers really are hinging on this

(18:51):
one person. The juice.

Speaker 15 (18:55):
The number I think like either ticket sales or it
was TV ratings. I saw a fifty nine drop that
I read a fifty nine percent drop either in the
tickets or the TV ratings because she wasn't playing.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
And to have a player, just like we're saying, not
just based on performance, but just the idea. It was
the idea of the Kobe's and the Michael Jordan's and
the Lebron's and those guys, the Steph Curry's if you
find out, because I'm naming those because though in these

(19:31):
years that's been more prominent, I don't know, you must see,
I don't know that when I was a teenager and
watching in the seventies and eighties, people seem to be
more team oriented. I wish my best player was out there,
but I'm about the team, right, And then it became
Michael Jordan introduced us to kind of like Jordan, be

(19:54):
a fan of a specific play guy, right. I mean,
the team's cool. So the NBA go go through it,
and they're trying to do a big time reinvention to
where you're not just hooked on to one player. But
we've seen it with those guys that got people won't
notice if Kobe God resid, so if he ain't playing,

(20:14):
I need y'all to let me know, so I don't
even dry it down here, you know that morning, Yeah,
I phone, yeah, I can watch this.

Speaker 16 (20:26):
You know.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
It really became and and and it's the same thing
that that's great and Asia Wilson only player. I've seen
plays like that just so dominant with Cynthia Cooper where
y'all are just kind of out here. That's the whole

(20:47):
generation between Wilson player. But the impact of excitement that
this young lady Kate and Clark brings puts them in
a position that they got to be somewhere of praying
to the basketball gods that Juju Watkins because not even
Page Becker's game, he's a solid player. She was the

(21:08):
first pick of this year. But you haven't turned on
a Dallas Wings game, have you?

Speaker 17 (21:13):
No?

Speaker 1 (21:13):
And they're they're not Wait, Dallas got a tag. Yeah,
they got the bad No, I'm saying, I'm sure it's
a good team. I'm not the.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Lead.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
They've been in Dallas for a few years. Okay, yeah,
and I'm Dallas, which fast enough. I think they're like
Greg is saying, with the numbers, the numbers, ratings just
drop and it seems like uh the w M And
I was honest last show where I was like, well,
I have kind of checked out too, and then she
came back. She went to doing the same dazzling things

(21:47):
that it seems that no one else possesses. They don't
possess all the Swiss army knives. They have the scoring
or they have the passing, they have something, but they
don't have the excitement. And she's just like the you know,
like I always say, she's just the Steph Curry of
the w NBA. You're sitting there waiting, is she far

(22:11):
enough out? Is you know? She seems to be standing
on the field house signed. Maybe now people are anticipating
that it might just go up right now, So great
excitement for Caitlyn Clark. And you can tell when they
say clark andomics and how big that is.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
And speaking clarkonomics same thing. Make you laugh, make you
cry when you out here, we up is lit. But
when you've not then all of that stuff we've been
saying about we putting a good product in front of
the ain't nobody believe in that? Are you damaging yourself
when she's not there? What everything you done sold me

(22:48):
about this game means nothing without this piece of this puzzle.
And that's a dangerous thing to be. Yes, That's what
I'm saying. Once once that becomes glaringly clear.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
And only in our recent times, those early years of
Tiger Woods, we're kind of like that where if he
ain't in it. Yeah, you tell me Tiger. I don't. Yeah,
the US you know, it's just the US Open, bro, nobody.
It might just be people just watching on Sunday to

(23:21):
watch Tiger and like if he's you know, he's not close,
I'm not watching. And then the other w Anglice had
her first triple double yesterday.

Speaker 15 (23:32):
Who the recipient for sportswomen of the Year, Larissa.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
She doesn't want to put them hands on. I bet
she don't want none of them. That didn't see any
greens we're talking about.

Speaker 18 (23:48):
Came back.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
She would tell y'all see angels. She's taking pictures. Tell
angel I'm looking for I'll be outside. And also she goes,
now be back right up. I see you staring like
you want. Maybe if God better let the lick the bony.

(24:11):
I'm still tipsy from last night. Pumping the falls as.

Speaker 8 (24:13):
A palls to the fast light, Don't go Awayne Born
of the Sports Josh Hill with Wayne Dandridas.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Coming up next.

Speaker 19 (24:22):
Uh oh brah, that's buzzed.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, he's starting with the woots and now
a speech.

Speaker 10 (24:30):
I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
heart and brain.

Speaker 20 (24:35):
Who's with me?

Speaker 21 (24:36):
Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
brain is saying, when it's time to go home, Somebody
call me a ride.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Love that guy, me too.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Know your buzzed warning signs, call for a ride when
it's time to go home.

Speaker 11 (24:48):
Buzz driving is drunk driving.

afford Bell, and someone offers you away out. Just plead
guilty and you can go home and kiss your kids
good night.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
What do you do?

Speaker 21 (25:05):
What thousands have you plead guilty whether you are or not.
Cash Bell makes poverty a crime. That's why the Bell
Project helps those who can't afford it while fighting to
in cash bail because freedom should be free.

Holy shit, the blueprint is by me.

Speaker 11 (26:52):
Mister get off, I get off and my feet.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Welcome back to this hoy shock shower. I'm this horshock
wing candy a good morning. Halfway through the month of June.
We are Game five tonight too too. The Indiana Pacers
OKAC thunder headed back to OKC for Game five, right

(27:20):
because they changed the format It used to be two
three to two, and then everybody wanted to complain, but
they were doing it back then to kind of cut
down on the traveling and give the underdog a little
more I would guess a little more juicer house at home. Yeah,

(27:41):
those three games at home, they really give them get
in time. So bad producer who thought I was gonna
miss the whole Angel Reach thing. As you noticed in
that whole segment, he didn't mention anything about Caitlyn Clark,
which is why our media is so screwed screwed up

(28:01):
these days, because people, if theyre don't if you're not
talking about who they want to talk about, they don't
have anything to say. Timeline is saying, Yes, it's just
scary how he can be void in a segment about
Caitlin Clark and think I missed out on but I
was gonna tie Angel Reaes in with Clarissa Shields, so

(28:21):
I was not going to skip over her eleven points
eleven and assists twelve seconds. It's whatever kind of like
what Clarissa Shield says at the BT Wards Angel reason
as you have to say. I'm not knocking Angel Reese,
as Clarissa Shiels mentioned, but she thought it was about

(28:45):
accolades winning the Sportswoman of the Year award for bet.
She didn't understand where Angel Reese had the accolade and
we're talking about a field where for this award, Angel,
I mean Asia Wilson, co Cooke, Goff, Don Staley, claj Johnson,

(29:07):
Juju Watkin, Chakari Richardson, Simon Bows. These were the candidates.
Damn family, My mama be listening to bro. I'm saying,
but sorry, Mama, my bad, bad. You raised me better

(29:31):
than that. But I'm saying these were the people in
the category with her, and she.

Speaker 6 (29:36):
And my mama and Clarissa Ship and my mama listening
like it's all right, baby, She's saying the same thing.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
At home, I'm saying the same thing. Don't worry about it.
That seems a little bit Clarissa shills. In the past year,
she defeated Vanessa Janice for the w b A light
heavyweight and the w b C heavyweight titles.

Speaker 22 (29:58):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
And she also so defeated Danielle Perkins for the WBA
heavy weight So basically she won two different belts in
the same year, different weight class, different weight classes. And
she and her mind thought winning the award has something
to do with accomplished. To do a little accomplishment, I

(30:21):
didne beat up a bunch of people in the last
and ain't nobody gonna say nothing about that.

Speaker 6 (30:26):
There's a bunch of folks got swollen lips and loose
teeth because of me.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Y'all don't want to y'all don't want to mention that.
And her make sure her quote was, ain't nobody saying
angel Rees don't have accolades or she's not good. I'm
saying I thought the person with the most accolades and
the most accomplishments would win the award. Now stop the

(30:55):
person with the most.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
Defined that because we are talking about sports woman, so
we talk about all the sports.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
The tennis, coco golf, won the French Open, Carl Richson,
she did. She said.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
She want a gold medal if they're going back from
throughout the last year. Last year, turned things. I'm talking
about smoked the whole bag of weed and din turned
everything around.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Uh who else did? She won a national championship, A
Wilson was the m v P and the.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
Medal the world Craig, I'm talking about you know, come on,
man won a couple more goals. A couple more goals.
That's what I'm saying. Now, she's the most decorated or something,
isn't she? And and what shottown Barbie did it?

Speaker 1 (31:51):
How?

Speaker 9 (31:52):
Tell us this is this is your how she how
she jumped in the last year. Hey, I'm still shot hot.
Gloria won the Gospel Award on BT this on the
BTR this time. I mean, I'm not permission to treat
the witnesses hospital. Thought Don Stalley should have won. But

(32:13):
you know, well that's not what we asked you to do, though.
You to explain you were big on angelies.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
I was big. I was just just dropping a nugget.
And she got the first triple double. Well, explain this
award winning for her over these other eight your mental
people imagine because she had a grade and Wilson have
a statue. Yes, she.

Speaker 6 (32:40):
She played it at South Carolina and still got a
statue and too much.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
It's about six five because you know, I you know,
I'm saying that's when they called me. That's what they called.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
It's like when they escaped from the rock, they called
Sean Connery when when they started about six three.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Ain't no prody for the call six But go ahead, sir,
tell us how Asia Wilson, Coco Golf, Don Staley Flage.
I'm saying that right right Fla, Je Johnson, Juju Watkins
of USC, I hope you come back. N w NBA
needs you, not just USC, but they need that Kobe type. Yeah,

(33:24):
that kind of game, you know, they need that kind
of game in the w n B A Shikari Richardson
Simone bi.

Speaker 9 (33:33):
Yeah, I can't believe she beat Shikari or going as
far as U. The only thing I can imagine since
she came in what second place with you? The year
in w n B A, she had a great season.
All the promotions McDonald's, all.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
The promotion, sports swimming of the year, Promote promotions, get
you a promotion.

Speaker 9 (33:57):
A great agent, man, you gotta get a good agent.
So Clarice Shields, you're saying, you're saying agent should have
had Ali's agent. What's the Muhammad Ali's daughter.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Well, Clarissa Shills and they just released a movie of
her in the last year. What's the name of that movie?
It's on Netflix during the commercial breakout looking and and.

Speaker 6 (34:25):
This is the thing, this is the thing I want
to ask though, Hm, you're saying she should have had
Ali's agent.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
No, I'm just know what I'm saying.

Speaker 9 (34:38):
If there are other women besides Corystal Shields on that
listen did better than her, So but for her to
speak up and speak out and there's not the fire
inside the boxing, well what I'm saying the boxing world,
even on the men's side, we know it's down, so
you know, we're really not watching the women on the boxing.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
So she's already behind it right now.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
Now wait, now, I know you ain't blaming in on viewership.
Anger rees was playing when Caitlyn Clark was out and
the viewers. No, no, no, I'm still I'm saying. I'm
saying you're trying to you think Caitlyn, you're trying to
equate Clarissa Shields not having any visibility with the fact

(35:21):
that it's women's boxing when we've just finished talking about
nobody's watching the w n B at yet he won it.

Speaker 9 (35:31):
Last year, because this is based on last year up
until that moment, all I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
But wouldn't you just couldn't we wrap a bowl on
this and say, basically, Angel Rees wins the popularity contest.
Always Clarissa Shields is basically saying the truth because to me,
because it has to me, because for me, what she's
saying is not just me. These other women on the

(35:57):
list that I thought we're going to actually be my
comfort Petitian Simone Biles. If you on the list, you
get your your your resume for accolades is the lowest
of what I see someone Biles are such a great
gymnast that she started being confused by doing flips.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
And had to lead a sport because she had the flippy,
spinny bendy things.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
And then she came back and won some morning. And
that's the thing about awards and I think across the board.
And that's kind of why I brought this to the
panel today, to the show is just now we see
it seeping into notaz the sport itself. How many times
have we talked about the NBA and NFL and basically

(36:42):
the failure of a lot of these all star games
started becoming that you were not sending people that deserved
the stars, right, You were singing just the people who
had the most recognition consistently to where people are getting
turned off in sideshow attraction, even the players themselves that

(37:05):
are playing getting upset that you sent this guy. He
might be a better player than me, but this year
I put up better numbers and you still send him
that kind of thing, which becomes frustrating. And he's and
he sat out because I'm not telling you that he
sat out thirty three of sixty games this year though, right,

(37:25):
he was out thirty of sixty games, and he still
went went So Clarissa shields VT Award going to bad
producer's favorite WNBA player, and that way.

Speaker 9 (37:42):
I wouldn't say she's my favorite WNBA player. Oh really,
I got to get a new one down Tross.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Clarissa rolled up in the green room like, what's up, Angel,
what's up? Kari? What y'all got on my forty?

Speaker 12 (37:55):
But you know.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Nine, oh, I know two ballers like y'all. That's so
we'll be back to Sports Do Show right after this.
You can get under.

Speaker 24 (41:00):
Locked one say you can see a sports chant, I'll
sing even.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm in the
sworshock wing kin d. Former NFL star Antonio Brown I
wanted for attempted murder charges down in Miami. This stems
from incident a couple of weeks ago. We talked about
ab uh and a gun and then you know his

(41:30):
swag and it's similar to the pac Man Jones guys
that seemed to want to barcode on their chest, you
know there. I guess it's some guys that they're not
gonna until they can hit put that tattoo. There's certain
things they got they dream about, right you imagine there

(41:52):
has to be some people dream like they don't want
to be in there for elb them, but they like
to have that crib. I'm saying I ain't judging because one, six, five, eight,
two nine, this is nothing. I ain't going judge. Got
out every morning we got shut up somebody right one
we shot at somebody. I literally literally try to not

(42:15):
go to places that I think that you ain't never
shot at nobody after that park. No, I haven't even
gotten in an argument after the party me neither, and
it's not popular. Has he turned himself in? And where
am I on this? I saw him riding on the
bicycle the other day. So see, and this is what

(42:42):
I'm saying. You just can't.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
You just can't ride that spectrum of of rolla Coasta
in the span of forty eight hours. Just can't try
and murder somebody on a Saturday night and be out
riding your bike on a Sunday afternoon.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
And the thing that's so funny, I think sometimes from
the sadness because I see him as a fellow alumnus.
We're talking about the guy that's definitely going to the
Hall of Fame. They might hit him with a little
of that to treatment where they hold him out. He's
really a first ballot, but his antics in this this
and this stuff, in this stuff cook push him back.

(43:18):
We're talking about a young man that it is still
of an age that he could even he could have
been in the NFL. He's not out of the NFL
because of years of age, and he didn't leave because
of an injury. He's thirty six years old. We saw
people like the great Jerry Rice and Tim Brown, Larry Fitzgerald,

(43:45):
You know, we've seen guys, even receivers still get a
year or two in their late thirties. Good friend Isaac Bruce,
dealing guy with Carolina. There's plenty of receivers that were
still playing in the NFL, still still the number two option.

(44:06):
Randy Moss, treel one, all these guys was around at
thirty six and all we've been doing and AB's been
out what now, three four years, so we're talking about
at thirty about thirty two, thirty three he was and

(44:27):
to just see him tumble down from crazy ideas of bankruptcy.
Wasn't playing that guy paying the guys on the arena,
ball to arguments, to wrap to everything that he's just
going I get troubled because some times these things end

(44:48):
up with where they're telling you a player, it's been
found in a hotel room right right now, I mean
you know and you already know the rest of it,
and now just don't break in. This in the hotel
room means.

Speaker 6 (45:04):
It's something tragical has happened. And this is what I
get frozen in this space sports shot honestly that we
get troubled about this, but how many times are we
going to allow Ab mister big chess, mister big checks
to trouble us. I mean, at this point, it's just

(45:29):
ab abing, you, see what I'm saying. And that's what
I start to worry about is people like this. When
they first do things, people are concerned and they want
to come to their aid and they want to offer
them some sort of sound advice. But then after about
one hundred and fifty sound advice conversations, what I'm supposed

(45:49):
to say.

Speaker 1 (45:50):
Well, I'm not. I'm not trying to say you can
walk him back right at this point, I'm saying these
this this window of time, it is a critical time
for Yes, it is. And a lot of this is
especially when the thing that you have been doing and
you really define yourself, which is the NFL or the sport,

(46:13):
has been removed. It's hard when you have done it
and done it comfortably and done it to the level
where you're willing to walk away and hardly that guy
still is telling you it's hard to be away from it.
Someone like Antonio Brown, who now, would you know the

(46:33):
different issues that he's had now you financially, yeah, and
see this is when you look at him and you're
still your mid thirties.

Speaker 6 (46:42):
And when you look at him, you think all of
these wounds are self inflicted. I mean, you could be
playing at a high level, you could be making the money,
you could have all of these.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
Endorsements, but you don't. Why why.

Speaker 6 (46:55):
It's not because people are blackballing you or hating on you.
It's because you won't get your together.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Now, have any of you followed this to be able
to give us an idea these charges, even though they
could be excessive. But he is the perpetrator, right, Yeah,
he was. It was a.

Speaker 9 (47:14):
Gun when he fired the gun. He fired it in
the air. But they're trying to say when he started
chasing the guy. The thing is, he didn't have the
gun when he started. After he fired in the air,
he started chasing him. And now that's where the dilemma's
at now. Didn't have the gun on him when it
was chasing that And that's where they say, and he
didn't that's a discription.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
But whether he had the gun, I didn't have the
gun when he was chasing him.

Speaker 6 (47:37):
Now, reasonable expectation of a person who sees you fire
a gun in the air and then it starts running
towards me, is that you still got the gun.

Speaker 1 (47:47):
I didn't see you put the gun up. I didn't
see you throw the gun away. I didn't see you
tucked the gun.

Speaker 6 (47:52):
So I'm still in fear for my life as if
you're trying to murder me, which is why he was
charged with attempted murder.

Speaker 9 (47:59):
As I stated, they know that, and there's a video
he should the shots go off in the air. But
the discrepancy is when he started chasing the young man,
did he have the gun?

Speaker 1 (48:10):
I'm saying, So Antonio Brown is going to need someone
to prove that. He come up and testify that they
took the gun away from him.

Speaker 6 (48:19):
He didn't have when he started chasing. Shot and then
I gave the gun the Big Kenny and then I chased,
So now you're in possession of a weapon. Charge may
get dropped, but all that other stuff gonna stand. It's
like robbing a gun.

Speaker 1 (48:33):
To murder. If he didn't have the gun when he
was chasing, that's the biggest thing. Okay, that's his biggest
hurdle that he's going to have to prove that he
didn't have the gun when he went in the in
the chase. Somebody else is going to have to take
he willing to go to jail for him.

Speaker 6 (48:48):
Because that's an aggravated assault or something is going to
come up back.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
I mean, you make them firing in the open space, you.

Speaker 9 (48:55):
Know, discharging the gun. You're not because don't be shoot
at anybody else. That's another thing.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
But if you're at the Falcon game, down at the
tailgate and you shoot the gun with all the people,
that's a crime.

Speaker 9 (49:08):
Yeah, it's discharging that in the publish and then if
I watch you do that and take that firearm from
you and conceal that evidence.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Now I'm in as much trouble as you are. We'll
be back with more than sports. Well that's the only way.
You can't be quiet, because that's the only way you're
gonna get off. How else are you gonna prove you
don't have the gun?

Speaker 9 (49:26):
You better those somebody have a video where he's running
the gun. Never go to court with this dude out
and told you.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
To court.

Speaker 10 (49:36):
Let me.

Speaker 5 (49:38):
Check go because I don't go on the head because
then see red it's the final front ten.

but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
It's a powerful opio It often made illegally and commonly
mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into

the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
be lethal. This isn't an AD to scare you, but

it isn't ad to make you think twice. Get the facts.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gan.

Speaker 26 (51:20):
Center cord on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 7 (51:37):
It's just being a distant world. I got nothing against
the Welcome back to the sports shocks shop. I'm the
sports shock Wayne Gand it might not be me against
the world. But it was DeMarcus Cousin, the veteran in

(52:00):
NBA player down in the Puerto Rican Basketball Association who
got into a brawl with a couple of fans. But
De Marcus says he wants to apologize to the fans
in Puerto Rico for his actions.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
I have so much love and respect for the island.
I want Shaw to know that he posted that he
has a lot of love and respect for the island
of Puerto Rico, so he didn't really mean it, but
as a usual suspect, I kind of have to hold,

(52:37):
how do you not mean it? You saw what he did?
She sounds like you you kind of like to get
in this kind of stuff. That was what he did,
was not That's not an accident. Any slapper teacher in
high school one teacher to I ain't judging in his defense.

(53:00):
We didn't all slapped the teacher. M right thought about
it was in middle school because I wouldn't have yet.
But what I'm saying, we didn't all swung on the teacher,
Am I right? DeMarcus went out of the country and
went to the basketball League. I think they suspended him
for the rest of the season. Yes, so he got
into an altercation with multiple spectators doing the game, and uh,

(53:25):
this doesn't help him get back in the NBA.

Speaker 15 (53:27):
No, not no, not no, you sl what he did, right,
He already did not secual assault. He was talking to
a fan, yeah, and then he grabbed his grabbed his junk.

Speaker 6 (53:40):
Did no no, Mark, He walked over to the fan
at face level of his junk, then grabs his junk.

Speaker 7 (53:50):
On.

Speaker 1 (53:50):
Let me make sure I got this right, y'all saying
I'm I got an ocean candidate, sir.

Speaker 6 (53:57):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no no, no, no, no,
we're not sending ship out for this one. Ain't no
need to push nobody off the boat.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
We just go there.

Speaker 6 (54:06):
We just gonna make you walk into the water from
the shore just broke, and we're gonna put the gun
in his hands.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
Take me through this.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
The Marcus gets into it with a fan. They're going
back and forth, and at some point six ten and
a half inch two hundred and ninety nine pounds, the
marks cousin that might have been his junk reaches down
with that forty two inch long wingspan, yeah, and grabs

(54:34):
this fan right, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 6 (54:36):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Right here, sir. Oh, he grabbed his own, and then
the fan put his hands in the fans fans, and
then the fan fan was like, wait a minute, your
finger staked right, I guess he thought, because ant man
got away with it. It said, my so let me

(55:01):
do this.

Speaker 15 (55:02):
That was insane something not actually I think as bad
as a gesture though, both of them wrong regardless of
Just just call me something.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Don't hit me so. I don't know how you. I
don't know how you. That old adage is true, Sticks
and stones will break my bone. You calling me a
name sugar Bell. Yeah, I didn't do I could just
switch that big shoe. You know what I'm saying made
me feel uncomfortable. I canna make that sound gangs the

(55:37):
big shoe. Okay, sugar Bell, that kind of makes me uncomfortable,
but it didn't hurt. Yeah, but you're swinging on me,
gonna get you fined and so so and throwing out
the league. Yeah, and you already important and it's already
hard to find these leagues to play. Yeah, that's what
I'm saying. You already.

Speaker 15 (55:56):
Also are in smaller countries where they're you know, you
playing in Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic or you know,
somewhere in South America.

Speaker 1 (56:06):
So like you said, there there's it's.

Speaker 9 (56:09):
Well, that league in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is elite.
There's a lot of players who injured and go and play.
Remember that's where Robert Traylor tried the trailer died. He
was down there in the Puerto Rican League a couple
of years back, trying to get back in shape to
get back to the NBA.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
This is he was on his way to try to
work his way back to the right. Right.

Speaker 6 (56:28):
So the established reality is that this is a road back. Yeah,
because a lot of the major refs they go to,
we have there, so you're already on your way trying
to get back. Yeah, and you do something else to
mess you up. So now you got to do what?

(56:49):
Go another step back? Is the only point that we're
trying to make. He's not helping himself because with any
of them.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
Mainly because from from what we know now, I've never
really seen as a talent level because he's always had
enough talent, in my opinion, talent with his size to
at least come off somebody's bench. Yes, So what what
that happens to end up being is either your leadership
kind of with Big Kenny, or your coach ability that

(57:17):
nobody wants to deal with managing you because a lot
of times we've seen them when you have you, when
I have to manage you, I have to see you
as a starter. Oh yeah, Well, you know it's kind
of like we talk about certain personalities like a Cam Newton.
A lot of people either they're go get Cam to start,

(57:41):
but he's gonna be on the bench, but they don't
want to manage him as a backup. Right.

Speaker 15 (57:48):
That's why the Patriots released him because he's gonna be
a backup, but they saw him also as a distraction.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
I can just go get James because jameis we strong,
Jamis is a teammate. He gonna just regardless of he's
all in it to be James. You you throw an interception,
He's gonna come over and don't worry about it. We're
gonna you you you halfway home? You fifty to fifty
good enough.

Speaker 6 (58:12):
Cam gonna come over with the Oh man, I can't
believe I'm not in there. I would have never thrown
that in him.

Speaker 1 (58:18):
DeMarcus has that same kind of I think a little
bit of why Ai. Even though Ai didn't want to
accept that once people didn't see him as a starter,
they wanted to come off the bench. He just decided
to retire. But if he had wanted to come off
the bench, he stayed around another two or three years.
James will I always give him credit that when he

(58:39):
left Tampa he made a Charlie Batch move that whatever
games I start, it will just happen to be circumstances.
But I'm never gonna be the guy that's trying to
get an organization to make me the starter again. I'm
just here. We're strong. I'm strong, you strong, Be strong.

(59:01):
We'll be back for the Sports Jock Show right after this.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
Well, boys and being enjoy you is that my DNA
I got my membus? Your flowing is that my dna
I was born like this?

Speaker 1 (59:12):
It's more like this.

Speaker 2 (59:13):
Did you make you lick conception? Not just borm like this,
but form like this?

Speaker 1 (59:16):
Would yel you?

Speaker 8 (59:17):
Wasn't?

Speaker 1 (59:17):
No, women don't go away. More of the Sports Jock
Show with Wayne Gantius coming up next.

Speaker 27 (59:25):
I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
two year old and a nine year old on my own.
I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
with the family support in line, and just with my
mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into

(59:47):
a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
father that I knew I could be. I think just
being that good world model as well, that model's good
behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
coming home and being able to put on that smile.

(01:00:08):
The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
and watching your kids be happy.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):

way you vegan.

Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
Welcome back to the sport Shock, Shine, the Sports Shock,
Wayne Gandy, glad to be here with you, Big Canny
Bad Producer comand you Greg. Halfway through the month of June,
as we have mentioned, Game five tonight in the NBA Finals,
I know a lot of whats have forgotten that this
finals is time in a while that we haven't had

(01:02:02):
a brand name in the finals, some kind of storyline
when it. You know, this year, as good as Shay
is for wholek see, he still hasn't become a household
name yet. His demeanor, he has a very classyness about

(01:02:26):
him so far on the court, so he doesn't he's
not super big. You know, he doesn't have this but
what what you call it? This gimmick? Right, there's no gimmick.
He doesn't have a last name that flows he's He
hasn't been demanded to win a title. He's just been

(01:02:48):
allowed to play basketball and very seldom does a superstar
like him come along where it's just he gets just
to be as good as he is. He has a
clean organization right now. As far as teammates, there's no
Draymond Green type storyline. There's no head coach with some
background story.

Speaker 15 (01:03:10):
Do you think that's good for the league that there's
not a player that that there's this pressure on them
to win a championship the way that we may have
looked at Lebron previously.

Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
Well, I think it's good from the league for the
conspiracy theorists who always believe that the NBA, in the
NFL and all these teams are in cahoots to always
make sure some other marketable team is in the finals.
You know how you know the Buffalo wild Wing group.

Speaker 6 (01:03:42):
Well, but now they shifted their energies now and because
we don't have a perennial favorite or household name in
the finals, now, the conspiracy is that it will go
seven games because you got to get some money out
of it. You know, if this were La versus the Knicks,
we could have wrapped it up in a sweep.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
But now, because we had to milk this thing, it's
going to go seven. Well, I would still say what
about it said it wouldn't go Indiana. It's because both
and pretty much he made everybody the same kind of way.
We're just trying to win enough games to win a series. Yeah,

(01:04:23):
they're trying to get win number sixteen. That's all they
need to see because there's no expectations, there's no pressure,
and other times you've had certain teams. Neither one of
these teams have a demand that they have to do
this in this particular way. Okay, see yeah, okay, See

(01:04:45):
it's just supposed to win the series. But there hasn't
been this. Oh, they should have swept them right in four.
You haven't heard any of that, nobody. You know, you
figure that if Indiana was gonna win the series, it
probably would go for them to win it six seven games, right,
That's how they beat everybody seven games.

Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
The only thing I heard about anyone caring about, like
I heard that Jay z Hit placed a one million
dollar bet that okay, she would win in five. Oh
okay it is yeah, and if they don't win in five,
then he loses the bet, which means at this point
the bet he has been lost. Yeah, So that that
it took that kind of information for people to even

(01:05:29):
generate a level of interest in this series. Like you said,
I've seen some runs. It's not like I watched Game
three and it was amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
Or Game one.

Speaker 6 (01:05:40):
I watched a little bit of Game one. I caught
some of that Game three, you know what I mean.
And at some point, yeah, I'm going to sleep. Well,
I'm done. I'm a fan of the youngster Shay Gil Chris.

Speaker 9 (01:05:51):
I've been hollering for years seeing Trey back to Oklahoma
and letters get Shay. But I've watched three games and
I've just enjoyed just the pureness of basketball and the fans,
and in Indiana and Oklahoma City, the fans just like
one of these franchises are gonna get a ring here,

(01:06:12):
and it's just the excitement of just knowing that one
of them, even though a lot of people are well
SuperSonics Oklahoma came from Seattle, but this is Okay Sees
and then apparently their owner ball into another team, but
this is there, that city's actual championship. So it would
be something big for either city once they do win. Yeah,
it must have been a slow media day. When they

(01:06:33):
keep going, I realized that with the twenty four hour
news cycle, especially in sports, we can't seem to stay
in the now. If the now is boring, we go
to digging up facts that oh it's the SuperSonics or.

Speaker 6 (01:06:49):
Yeah, I'm I'm Scotty thunder right. Yeah, and that's we're
a generation into that already.

Speaker 9 (01:06:58):
Yeah, And that's why I hate that for that fan
base because they love their team out there.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
So yeah, it's just two small market teams that have
quality players and the name brand people were able to
get knocked out in that first round for a lot
of on both sides. Uh. And it introduces someone like
Shay and his teammates and how great they were. They

(01:07:25):
had the best record, correct, and also just that they played.
And it's not the style, because she still has that
marketable game. It's just that he doesn't. He has He's
he's not in your face. Well, he's cousins to Tim Duncan.
He doesn't really have much well and now is that

(01:07:46):
his fault or is that something that Okay, you know
some stars, he just he's Joe Dumars. Everybody just don't
have this kind of let's go baby and tattoo his
face you know when he hit a Yeah, he nickname. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:08:10):
And that's what I'm saying, even when it comes to
you know, we had Jordans, we had Kobe we had
the King, we got kill Chris Alexander what and they
keep trying.

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
To make something about Tyler Holan Burton and his daddy. Well,
I'm as far as is a superstar or not the
guy is a good player. It starts becoming what is
a superstar? Who is a super superstar? Like we said
with Larissa Shields and Angel reached just something based on
popularity or is it effectiveness?

Speaker 15 (01:08:45):
And I think people had those conversations because they that's
that's what they expecting when a championship series, we're seeing superstars, right,
like the best players get their teams to the championship.
It's not always like that, and that's not and you
got the Barry, it's not about the best players. Then
you got the two best teams and once again, but

(01:09:05):
even if it's the best team, they want there. I
think fans want to see and what media want to see.
But but i'm star players with our superstar players leading
their teams like they want to see a Lebron James
level type of player every year. But we're not going
to get that everything.

Speaker 6 (01:09:23):
But that's definitely, but that's what the league keeps selling
us because that they are right.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
Series, right, here.

Speaker 6 (01:09:33):
You look on the menu and this is a big,
juicy quarter pounds burger spilling over the side of the bun.
And then you go in and you get it, and
that burger fit on the inside of this bun quite comfortably.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
And now you mad that this ain't what I paid
my money for.

Speaker 6 (01:09:49):
And that's the fault of not only the people marketing
the product, because you knew before you put that picture
on the board that that bun don't.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
And Katelyn Clark, I will say this about her. If
Indiana pulls is off, she at least deserves like a watch.
They don't need to give her a ring because she
doesn't play for the Pacers, but her presence in the necklace,
My presence is Indiana. Trust me. It's spilled over to

(01:10:19):
one of those little wristbands, one of the wristbands. It's
spilled over into the Lakers, I mean the Pacers locker room.
Give her a ring. It's one of them things motivating.
I'm tired walking to my stadium and you got this
young lady hanging over the door. You'll be amazed. How

(01:10:41):
Remember when you're dealing with athletes, you're trying to find
anything to give them get them to give you that
extra step. Yes, it's being and your sister is a
little faster than you, or you know your brother is
doing a little this and you. It's competition right there.

Speaker 9 (01:11:00):
Yeah, because at the stadium they got a big picture.
They got a big picture of caitln hanging and Halliburton
in Atlanta. You ain't got You got just a picture
of trade. But you don't have a picture of what's
the young lady, Ryan Howard? No, but the other lady
w n b A for the for the dream and
dream what's her name?

Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
No?

Speaker 9 (01:11:17):
The with the Russia got busted. You don't have a picture, man,
You don't have a bit of the picture of Britney Grinder.
So I'm just saying you don't run is the dream
best player. I'm a notable face. I'm just see that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Popularity again. And that's for your dream fans when y'all
check out a dream game and you wonder why, Ryan
how why she looked like she always mad, she can't
get her respect to her own time and turned on
a dream game. Watch Ryan Howard, Right, she always looks

(01:11:54):
mad ship on her shoulder like some ain't ruin. It's like, well,
it's thirty eight points up there. She always look. It's
because of statements like that and because Britney Righter was interviewed.
Britney Ground have been here seventeen days and now you're
talking about giving a statue. But I'm not mad at Brintay.

Speaker 6 (01:12:14):
I'm not mad at Brittney Grinding because we all went
to prison for transporting drugs across international lines.

Speaker 28 (01:12:19):
I'm all right, I've never even been to Russia, even
my little bit, a little bit. Okay, what what else?

Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
We'll be bad.

Speaker 8 (01:12:31):

Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
Cam Newton was at the BT Awards. The bad Producer
lets us know he watched it. He tried to play
it off as though he recorded it and watched it.
But I would put my dollar that he watched it live. Yes,
And he didn't want to admit that because he didn't
want you all to think that of him. He watched it.
He knew it when it came on. He watched it live.

(01:19:43):
It wasn't replayed that Cam Newton was on. I like
what Cam had on. He was killing it. He had
the muscle shirt, vests with an ascot kind of floral
looks silk, which I don't know what kind of pants
are called. Greg What are those pants? But they don't

(01:20:04):
really go down, They go right below your calf. They're
not capri. They can prepaying that capri was at the knees.

Speaker 9 (01:20:13):
I thought, what are those capris? Are past the knees.
But I thought those ankle I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
This floral print looked like it was silk high end,
had the scarf working. It was a good Cam Newton
look for an award show big can you checking him out?
I'm about to see what this is, Jesus. The capri
pants are to the knees, like right before. That's when

(01:20:43):
you got capri shorts. Cap have you ever on the pair? No, sir, Okay,
then listen to Greg and let Greg teach you.

Speaker 12 (01:20:50):
This is.

Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
This is why Angel, This is why Angel. That's a
high water style.

Speaker 6 (01:20:57):
Yeah, they call the European cut. Now, this is why
Angel reche won. The females over there like.

Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
No, no, Harry, like nah.

Speaker 9 (01:21:11):
One of our viewer, of one of our listeners just
said a female and I believe her. Uh this Deana
Clemen said they called ankle slags, ankle slags, So I
know she knows.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
That's what Harry Harry telling you now years ago about
twenty you're not feeling this cam looked never about gona
cut up thought arm when you got some arms and
shoulders and some silk floor print. It's still a little
you like the look it looks, it looks red carpet.

(01:21:46):
It looks red carpet. It looks. It looks because compared
to what he wears, here's the thing normally wears. Here's
the thing. The things he wears are actually meant more
for this right the events. See, that's why it's not
offensive to me, because that is how you go to.

Speaker 6 (01:22:08):
If you were, if you were at Jersey Mics like that,
that would be that what's up with you? I'm saying,
but what's up with your boy.

Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
And his his arms out? And that's what you don't
wear the Jersey mike. Yeah, but this is he like
to wear. He liked to wear a lot of high
waters and like that. So that's kind of really what
it's wrong with. His fashion is kind of backwards. He's
wearing it to the wrong. This is Paris Milan. If
somebody invited you that, see, I don't have we don't

(01:22:39):
have the runway clothes. I would have to run out
and get something right and said, runway, you're supposed to
wear a different cut and a different color scheme.

Speaker 6 (01:22:48):
Right on the run like that garish, garishing, out landish
something that because it just actually where it's like you said,
the Jersey Mics and everybody on some but the awards
are too Mom row and he some. Yeah, you want
to see my outfit for that, like wow.

Speaker 1 (01:23:05):
Cam Newton giving it to you at least the one
thing about it though, comand you Big Kenny Babadoos. We
don't ever have to wear about it getting out of
shape because you have to be in shape to wear
would you would you wear that out for the Sports
Job if I was at an award show, if I

(01:23:25):
was in that world, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm
gonna go get something like that in purple and gone.
I don't know that I would wear regardless of my style.
I don't know where I would wear my arms out. Yeah,
that's what that shirt. The shirt might be that pattern,
the pattern I would wear in some kind of award
yeah show, rock and roll, Hall of Fame kind of look.

(01:23:48):
So I can't wear at the East of Sunday. No,
you can't wear that anyway. We'll be back for haters.

Speaker 12 (01:24:00):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
I should have known. That's a window.

Speaker 5 (01:24:04):
Retton got my cobo blown well, I.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
Got away without kidney yo. But it's the sabled.

Speaker 8 (01:24:13):
Joan bow Away or of the Sports Josh Show with
Wayne Dandridius coming up next.

Speaker 11 (01:24:19):
My mom has taken up going to the park to

My dad's going to a club, but not a book club.

Speaker 11 (01:24:26):
A sofa club.

Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
Finding new hobbies comes with age.

Speaker 11 (01:24:30):
My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
she's going.

And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
life insurance.

Speaker 29 (01:25:00):
When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.

Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
What about you?

Speaker 11 (01:25:08):
Will you be leaving benefits or bills?

Speaker 29 (01:25:10):
When I was forty, with a kid in college and
bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
the insurance informants.

Speaker 10 (01:25:17):
Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
security no matter what stage of life you're in.

Speaker 29 (01:25:23):
Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
leave my family with bills or benefits.

Speaker 10 (01:25:27):
The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
need is the insurance informant to help you build a
foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
two options, benefits or bills.

Speaker 11 (01:25:40):
Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits
or bills?

We tough it out, feel exhausted, We push on, feeling down,
pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are times
when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us and
we need to talk to someone about what we're really
going through. So we're going to reach out because sometimes

Speaker 26 (01:26:29):
Player's Lounge We've been given full access to the player's lounge.
On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
You know what, there's no stopping on a talk. I'm dropping.
It's frighting not so everything is propping. I got stand
to spin.

Speaker 1 (01:26:59):
No, misser, don't let yet. Welcome back to the Sports
Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock wing Gandy Bickny. Did
y'all crip walk in Chicago? Uh No, that's that's a
whole another. That's a whole nother. Y'all do development development?

Speaker 6 (01:27:23):
You know what I'm saying. We just we did perk
walks when the police came and pick us up.

Speaker 1 (01:27:29):
You know we wouldn't.

Speaker 6 (01:27:30):
I mean because I'm from an era where gangsters don't dance. Bookie,
you see what I'm saying, gangster's boogie. We don't really
be out here dancing. So I want to say sports
jock Uncle Charlie wanted to know that Cam get the
bet Awards mixed up with the Deity party.

Speaker 1 (01:27:47):
Well, he think he might have been dressed for the
wrong event. And then what about the curtain?

Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
Who was that?

Speaker 6 (01:27:53):
Keith Ramsey said, Uh, we know what happened to my
dear good curtain, because they do kind of give that
dining room, not dining room, Kurt, not not the not
the play dining room.

Speaker 9 (01:28:05):
With the kids, we talked about where you go for
thanks with the plastic go over the capsule.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Well, and that's why I made the statement some of
the outlandist things that cam where typically is just more
of he's at the wrong event, in it wrong event,
you're supposed to be kind of wild and what is
that you got on the awards or things like but
you got that outfit on it my grandmama funeral, you know,

(01:28:36):
you got your arms out the funeral like that. That's
just disrespectful. And m l B has come under scrutiny
over the last couple of days. Had a couple of
incidents h with the Dodgers. Also up in New York
with the Mets at City Feel doing the national anthem

(01:28:57):
the Mets, and I'm quite sure tomorrow we'll read somebody
got suspended or it could have been intention but the
Mets during the national anthem, instead of showing the American flag,
they showed the Rainbow flag and a lot of fans

(01:29:18):
were upset about this. Guys. Now, now, now when you
say the camera went to the raw, it was on
the big screen on the Jumbo in the stadium that
they showed a lot of fans felt like that was

(01:29:41):
the last straw.

Speaker 16 (01:29:42):
It was.

Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
So so.

Speaker 6 (01:29:46):
Wheah, who were gonna blame this on? Oh man, our
audio visual guy decided to have like a judgment call
because it would have been the whole department, right Otherwise
you're saying someone went broke.

Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
Someone would right, yeah, right now. It doesn't seem that
it was like some single individual making a protest. It
seems that they were trying to honor Pride Month. And
this is where and we've talked about here with our
sports teams, especially with the Hawks. The Hawks better than anyone,

(01:30:25):
celebrate each and every and I guess any kind of occasion,
the forty one home games, I know if I go
to thirty of them, it's going to be some theme
of that night. Some nights you didn't even know it
was a night. I didn't know that was the thing,
But they can make a night of it. And teachers.

Speaker 9 (01:30:47):
Also in New York, Aaron Judd boycotted the Pride night
and that's been a problem, which he's not the first
player to do this in Major League Baseball. Refused to
wear the uniform that they have designated or for that situation.
I mean, I'm just wondering how did a lot of
people feel about that, and how you guys feel. I mean,

(01:31:08):
I think it's his choice if they choose to. You know, hey,
I'm not gonna play that night. But there's a lot
of people that's really upset right now with Aaron Judge
in New York.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
Well, I don't know that I would move myself to
let my team and my fans down by not playing
at all. I think that he definitely has the right
to speak. He also has the right to even go
to the organization and say something, you know, like I
would just rather wear my regular Yankees hat. I don't

(01:31:41):
want to wear the I think that's within the parameters
of me having to stand by him, like, Okay, you
do have that right in this situation. But I wouldn't
even if I had to play. I would just play
with the flag and then let my But I wouldn't
let my team down and my fans down and remove
my self. I would just feel like I have the

(01:32:02):
right to speak on it right right, and I don't
have to bash it. I just would appreciate you not
and I'm not you know, we're not even going as
far as telling you not to have your Pride Night celebration, right,
but you can limit how far we have to be infused.

Speaker 6 (01:32:21):
In now, now and again, where does having your Pride
Night celebration infringe upon my patriotism? We've for generations before
pride ever became a thing. For generations, professional all sporting

(01:32:43):
events start with the national anthem. A lot of people stand,
remove their hats, they face the flags. Some people put
their hands over their hearts. They do all of that stuff,
and it's in reverence to the American flag or you
to insert a substitute symbol for that and not be

(01:33:08):
a tonight it's and not be an express thing. You've
hijacked us.

Speaker 1 (01:33:14):
Into this moment.

Speaker 6 (01:33:15):
You've kidnapped us to share in this moment with you.
So now when the camera's paying around the stadium and
she's singing the national anthem, and you catch me with
my hand over my heart, over my Marine Corps heart,
and then they flash up to the jumbo tron and
it's the rainbow flag. All the people from Platoon ten

(01:33:38):
fifty six got problems with me, like, what's wrong with
this dude? What's going on with you marine? When did
you start saluting that? But I was here on the regular.
When I turned around, I was looking for the old
stars and stripes.

Speaker 1 (01:33:51):
I've always felt like as an organization, we can facilitate both,
whether I can I can allow Proud Pride Night to
be able to have someone announce it, vendors in the
breezeways and things like that, so that both people are

(01:34:15):
both not people, but both mindsets are adhered to. When
you start making the players half to wear, then you
start making me feel like you're trying to make money
because you want me to show my top player in
your colorway as supporting, and that's what you're really doing

(01:34:37):
in Thereick.

Speaker 15 (01:34:38):
Well, let's say this has been going for a couple
of years. I think we've talked about this before. A
couple of years ago with the Tampa Bay Rays, they
had a similar thing with Theirs, and players were complained
or they were uncomfortable. So this is an issue that
I think, like baseball just we're just going forward with
this and not really trying to. I don't know if

(01:35:03):
that comes to some kind of compromise, but at least
there are people who are going to be uncomfortable and
it will feel a certain way just by seeing I've
seen an article where uh mlbs from their x account
just posted the MLB logo with you know, rainbow colors,

(01:35:23):
and a lot of people are responding, well, I'm turning
off this game or you're not getting another dying for me,
And that's what you're people who will have those extreme reactions.

Speaker 9 (01:35:35):
Well, that's what happened with the NBA when we had
you know, they started putting that stuff on the end
of the courts on your jersey. Remember a lot of
people when they pull back, they finally, now you're getting
the fans back because you're not putting it in their faith.
We know they see it, they know, but you as
bad sports were coming not to for that to be
put in our face.

Speaker 6 (01:35:56):
And and I think a lot of times with people
who have umbrants to this, it's not about the issue itself.
It's not about race, it's not about gender identity. It's
about the fact that you gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:36:07):
Make us.

Speaker 6 (01:36:10):
Like there are a lot of other causes cancer and
and uh saving the rainforest and and and getting the oceans.

Speaker 9 (01:36:18):
I think, but it is also another month is the
kids month for some other whom it's a couple of
other things.

Speaker 1 (01:36:28):
It's probably a whole bunch of stuff and that on
the calendar. And that's what I'm saying. It seems the
easy solution is just to keep things as they are
stat is quo and then ad meaning that the vendors
or the people that might perform, and let it come
through that instead of you changing what your whole model is,
how about you can still have a sense that it

(01:36:51):
is that night. I know, you know, like I was
saying with the Hawks, they will they have changed the
food to a particular demographic demographic for that night, or
they have a certain artist, or the you know, whatever
events they have in the game, commercials and stuff will

(01:37:13):
be that. And it's like, but you can keep the
core of it just Atlanta Hall and then and at
that point, I don't feel like anyone can be upset
because then I'm just celebrating. And you know, they rotated
to all kinds of groups. So out in Dodger Stadium,
the young lady Neessa, she decided to hijack the national anthem.

(01:37:39):
The Dodgers asked her to sing it in English. She
decided she was going to try to sing in Spanish
and support the whole no Kings protests, and then she
got upset. I guess they cut her mic. But we've
talked about that before, man, Greg Big Kenny Babadus, Where

(01:38:04):
you and I made an agreement that you're going to
sing the national anthem, Yeah, we talked about then you
decided that you were just doing it under false pretense, yes, sir,
And then you going hijacket and make it what you want,
and then I'm wrong for escorting you out cutting.

Speaker 15 (01:38:23):
We've seen that with with Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers.
He wrote Bible verse on his inside Genesis nine through twelve,
right nine twelve through sixteen, and basically God speaking about
the rainbow. So he's he's taken that and try to
make it into what he wanted.

Speaker 1 (01:38:43):
Well, rainbow, the rainbow is if you know about even
putting a different message out there, Yeah it is. The
rainbow is very spiritual? Is it supposed to be? They've
we'll be back more the sports Huck sports chucks right
after this when in wants cast.

Speaker 9 (01:39:05):
And things A five double low Evans from plastic banks,
the dreams that's been known to disappear before you out
the dope thing.

Speaker 1 (01:39:13):
It seems we'll make things major.

Its wings.

Speaker 24 (01:41:37):
Log on so you can see a sports jaint I'll
sing even Canny.

Speaker 1 (01:41:44):
Welcome back to this War Shock show. I'm the sports
Shock wing Candy. Kevin Durant looks like he is going
to be on the move again. Comanch Greg McKenny, bad producer.
Do you want KD? At this point? KD is basically
as which I always knew about him after, especially after
he got his ring with Gold in the State. He's

(01:42:06):
just a gun for hire. Yeah he doesn't. He's not
coming here for any kind of The uniform is just
a uniform. Yeah, I'm not your mercenary. Yeah, I'm a mercenary.
Is that something you want? Or as a.

Speaker 15 (01:42:25):
For a team, you would want a guy like Kevin Durant,
a guy who could fit in anywhere. You don't you
can run plays for him, but you can run any
play or run no plays for him. He can fit
in with any team. There's nothing that he's He's more
closer to a low maintenance type of player, so he

(01:42:46):
could fit in anywhere. But expecting him to be like
a leader captain, there are limits to that. If you're
looking for that kind of player, you might would have
looked somewhere else. But if you just want a guy
who can get you a bucket when you need one.

Speaker 1 (01:43:04):
So basically you got to have it. And he has
three teams. The Houston Rockets, the San Antonio Spurs, the
Miami Heat are places that at least sources are saying
that Kevin Durant would like to go to. And I
echo what you just said, Greg. It has to be
how your team is built, because when you bring on

(01:43:25):
on a mercenary, you're bringing on a guy that he
is not going to throw himself on the grenade. The
mercenary is not he's gonna kill and move and do
everything he posed to extint but he is that it's
worth it that the paycheck adds up to the work. Yes,

(01:43:48):
So if you have a team that's set like that,
similar to and that's his personality, he's I think he's
always owned it. I think people wanted him to be
something more. That's the That is the difference of a
Lebron James type player. The Kobe's different, Tim Duncans, those

(01:44:12):
guys seem like they wanted to get the other guys going, KD, James, Harden, Dominique.
They seem like they just want to get clean and
come to the party. Y'all partying right right right party,
going already. Did you see me get my thirty? You
send me to thirty? Yeah? I hate ball up. I

(01:44:34):
hate you. Ain't gonna doubt that. We ain't gonna break
it down. No breakdown, they come on, man, No tap
the ball out. That's how they come like seriously, it's
like okay, and we don't even need have no after
team meeting, right right, y'all can do that? Call me
to your office when you didn't get the twenty eight thirty,
I promise you asked me for twenty eight. Well, I

(01:44:55):
don't know why I'm in this meeting or why are
we doing this early morning run? What would that be
doing for me? I gave you, we agreed on twenty eight,
So what's the problem. Yeah, while we're in this film session.
Remember that's what you're kind of bringing on, bad producer
when you bring it. That's the I didn't come here

(01:45:15):
for teams Christmas party all that. I don't even I
just live in the the bus outside. I'm always I'm
staying in the stadium.

Speaker 6 (01:45:29):
And I'm saying, if you if you need a bucket
that bad thought? Do you do you want to bucket
that bad do you?

Speaker 1 (01:45:35):
Well? If you got to.

Speaker 6 (01:45:38):
You'd imagine there'd be there'd be somebody out there who
could hit a bucket and show up to the meeting.

Speaker 15 (01:45:43):
Well, a lot of I think some teams need more
than one guy somethings to get away with. I think,
like Oklahoma City is out of the finals, they really
only have one guy who can get his own shot.
But if you have a second guy who can get
his own shot, that can that can take a team
two from you know, second round to the finals. Question,

(01:46:06):
he's that kind of player.

Speaker 1 (01:46:07):
Why are Hawks? Now? I'll try to get this hid mercenary.
Do you have Kevin Durant money? Do the Hawks have
Kevin Durant money? I think I had this conversation with
a couple of my friends. I just wanted to I'm
just I'm seriously asking. I think too many times that
we don't accept here in Atlanta that the Hawks aren't

(01:46:29):
really and haven't been a destination, a beacon. They're rarely
on list. I don't know any big marketable free agent
that has ever had Atlanta as a destination. Now, if
you know one, please hit us online real quick and

(01:46:50):
let me know. But I don't remember any. And I've
been in the city this area for thirty years, We've
most likely get good players. Some of them teeter on
being Hall of famers, like a Joe Johnson. Paul Millsap
did work when he was here, so it's not like
the guys we get don't. But I don't remember a

(01:47:11):
superstar that had us on their short list of places.
Do you remember in their Superstar nests? Because we'll get
a grand heel. Yeah, in a prime we'll get it.

Speaker 6 (01:47:27):
Dwhight Howard once they shopping around, just trying to stay
in the league. But we won't get them. When I
tell you what we can.

Speaker 1 (01:47:37):
Road, Okay, no, we got we got the White after
his back surgery. Yeah that's he. But Superman no more.
And and I'm just saying, when you think about it,
you don't get that. And I was debating this with
a couple of guys from the Atlanta area and they
kept saying, Oh, it's the salary.

Speaker 9 (01:47:57):
And I'm like, no, but that's the first thing we
always want to holler as a salary.

Speaker 1 (01:48:02):
But I'm just where's the Also a lot of it
is that someone has the want to come play here
and there that is the team that's either the team
history or a particular player when you look at the
Rockets and the list that he has. You got women
yamb with the Spurs, Miami with the location. Because if

(01:48:25):
you're going to be a mercenary, you might as well
be on the beach, right Wake up to the in
the penthouse looking on the old ocean and the Rockets
who have a good enough team that my mercenary skills
might be what gets them? And what's the coach name?
What do you offering with the ramp? Play with trayo

(01:48:48):
oh yeah, and.

but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed

size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.

in a lot of different places, but I can't tell
you where Fairfield, Alabama is. But eighteen year old just
graduate from high school, Brandon Moss running for mayor? You

(01:51:50):
ever heard of that? I've heard in Mardern life. I mean,
I know Abe Lincoln them.

Speaker 6 (01:51:56):
Yeah, I've heard of some young people run running for
mayor or city council at a young age at eighteen
eighteen nineteen. I had that in recent Yeah, there's a
gentleman I believe in Louisiana who became the youngest.

Speaker 1 (01:52:12):
That's the one that mayor in the world. They arrested
him for drug trafficking. I ain't judging, No, I think
that's the guy to the.

Speaker 15 (01:52:25):
Fairfield is as part of the Birmingham metropolitan area. Okay,
and we didn't all been arrested for.

Speaker 1 (01:52:34):
Am I right? Comanchi Greg says a two thousand and
three Lebron James traffic ticket just so for fifty times
as much as it cost. Slow media day. Wait, now,
when you see these kind of stories the media, sports media,
they use Lebron and Michael Jordans. Those are their fillers

(01:52:56):
when they don't have it and when nothing's really going on,
they pull up some story about how Michael Jordan's be
Greg Elo at Hopscotch in the eighty six Fine, he's
sitting there thinking what it was right before the game.

(01:53:18):
They just be digging up stuff on mj I know
he just get tired of his name. Well, they just
be using it if he could get some money. Every time.
They just what I'm saying, at least at least Marcus
ain't in the news. You know what I'm saying them
j On from anything, bring up.

Speaker 6 (01:53:31):
The greg Elo story because as long as Marcus ain't
stuck on the tracks somewhere. So I don't know, le
bron Gott, how did how did? How did you get
access to another person's traffic? Dickens Babbo, this seems like
your wheelhouse.

Speaker 1 (01:53:47):
That's criminal. That's Kinney's will. Wow did he just sniff
told you? I told you never.

Speaker 6 (01:53:55):
Due just the dude call you from the police station, like, man,
they got us? Like what do you mean they got us?
Come on down, you need to come on turn yourself in.

Speaker 1 (01:54:07):
And they got us. Kenny, what do you mean they
got u? You got you? That what he tells from
the stud that big Kenny, Dwight Howard and Lance Stephenson.
It's the big three just became like maybe like a
mental w w E. I mean you got Stephen Jackson

(01:54:31):
is now the head coach telling people you set all
of them on fire the other day, and there's times
then you got and then you got Beasley and Michael Stevenson,
R Howard fighting with Michael Beasley. These are the names
that we used to.

Speaker 6 (01:54:50):
Shy away from in w n B, in the NBA,
in the NBA, and now and now you got come
out Charlotte, North Carolina for the Big Three. We've got
Michael the bashor Peasley against the White, the smasher Howard.

Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
Let me tell you something, brother Stevens.

Speaker 20 (01:55:14):
When we get down, when we get the White, when
we get down to the baby, the Big Three.

Speaker 6 (01:55:25):
Yes, oh yeah yeah. And he hadn't look. Gotta be
more exciting. You gonna pretend like y'all got beef.

Speaker 1 (01:55:34):
You're gonna be the hill dog. Come on in, stephen A. Smith.
We mentioned a fan called him playing solitaire. At first
he lied, and then he came out and say yes,
it was during a time out. He said, it was
the last time I played? Was the last time you
played solitaire?

Speaker 6 (01:55:52):
Be a fun game back in the lake when he
was playing with him like real cards or on his phone,
on his phone, it's fun that NBA fine, he said,
He said it was during.

Speaker 1 (01:56:04):
It was not doing the timeout. Yeah, that's an exciting life.
Mm hmm. I wonder why does he spend it on
to a time out? We get what what came out.

Speaker 15 (01:56:14):
First was a still photograph, but then the video was
posted and you saw the game going on.

Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
They paneled with Stephen A.

Speaker 6 (01:56:24):
Smith and the reason he tried to spind it is
because ESPN done had them conversations.

Speaker 1 (01:56:30):
Bad producer. Cut your electronics off. Look at the smitch.

Speaker 6 (01:56:37):
I need you focused, Look forward, the cameras are rolling.

Speaker 1 (01:56:41):
We're having a broadcast.

Speaker 6 (01:56:43):
I need you to pay attention Stephen Night and now
here he he he back on his phone, and everybody
on some and now he on some man and people
that told me about that, and so you know, now
I need to see some ID.

Speaker 1 (01:56:57):
Are you guys cool with that?

Speaker 15 (01:56:58):
As a fan, he is, he is representing the the
fans who uh, it's hard for them to get interested.

Speaker 1 (01:57:11):
And if he can't get interested at the game, at
the game.

Speaker 9 (01:57:15):
Then nah, that's that's just as bad as the fans
calling in on a golfer that a rulers say, oh,
he didn't do this right, and you're calling in leave
that alone.

Speaker 15 (01:57:25):
That he's saying that, it's representative of he's not watching.

Speaker 9 (01:57:31):
So so y'all one minute, y'all are you gonna talk
about one minute of y'all hating Stephen a because of
what he's saying in the next minute.

Speaker 1 (01:57:37):
You hating because he's playing for this is hold on, sir,
I know you you're in your defense mode, but we're
not hating on anything. A reporter of the sport he
called no, no, no, the job of reporting and doing
something other than watching what he was supposed to be watching.
And these aren't reporters that we then sought out on
the betting site. He is at the game line.

Speaker 6 (01:58:00):
He is one of four or five people charged with
helping me keep up with the game and understand it.
So again, if you're not paying attention, why should I
be engaged? You say I should drink this brand of soda,
but you drinking iced tea? What makes me want to
drink the soda you trying to sell if you're drinking tea.

Speaker 1 (01:58:21):
Rick Flair and Dusty Rose were good friends, Oh yeah,
but the gimmick was they were enemies. So they spent
most of their adulthood moving and traveling and interacting in
an enemy state of mind, because that's the only way
the gimmick works. If you're going to report on something
that you don't watch, how many times in the fifteen

(01:58:43):
years whatever we've been on here. I admit no need
of calling and asking me a question about X, Y
and Z because I watched it. I ain't watched it.
That's why I take that stance, because I want people
to know. Whatever I'm talking about, I at least spent
a minute engaging in it. I don't even get on here.
You asked me something about the Giants Reds game last night, man,

(01:59:07):
I didn't watch that game.

Speaker 6 (01:59:08):
And then not only are you playing solitaire, you'll get
on camera and be like, lord Broad James needs more.

Speaker 20 (01:59:16):
How do you know?

Speaker 1 (01:59:18):
How do you know what he needs watching? And we
are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
your in the ocean.

Speaker 26 (01:59:30):
It's time to rap things up on the Sports Junk
Show with Wayne Candy.

Speaker 1 (01:59:42):
M when you decided that she gives us worsh out.

(02:00:05):
Just a minute to Vin, we'd like to thank you
for tuning in to today's show. Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg
Bat producer, thank you for your contributions to the show today.
If you missed any other show, you're gonna go to Amazon, Podcast, Apple, Audible, Deserve, Spotify,
uh and check the replay of the show today. Going

(02:00:29):
in the Ocean and sadly, just because.

Speaker 27 (02:00:35):
I know.

Speaker 1 (02:00:38):
They meant well, but they were dead wrong. The BT
Awards gave the Gospel Song of the Year.

Speaker 2 (02:00:52):
To Glow.

Speaker 1 (02:00:55):
Really, Okay, go go. It's impossible for me to believe
that actually happened. Hey, but we have come to know
b T Awards, dude, some of the funniest stuff that
has ever, ever, ever, ever, ever happened on TV. Ever,

(02:01:23):
the blasphemy of this to even let Glow Realer come
up on stage and receive this award. You're talking about
an award that should have been given a pre show,
a post show, but never. I don't even know where

(02:01:45):
to go because all I know is glow. Most of
the music I ever heard her singing has something to
do is shooting for people, making some dude she just met,
licked places that shouldn't be touched, and then robbing her sister.
I'm feeling good today outside with your base all in

(02:02:07):
the sad with dress, got a black with Wade Sevin
p on Friday. I ain't got no he gonna drop
that MET Awards because it's your fault.

Speaker 6 (02:02:19):
It ain't glow, it ain't glow, it ain't Clott Marvin
Sap sitting back like my coqu never mar locked the Door.

Speaker 1 (02:02:34):
Whens DG Best Gospel Music Award, Crazy from the Sports
Shock Show Go listen to the song, then you will
realize exactly how crazy it is. We hope y'all have
a good afternoon feast.
