I'm broadcasting live and it led her to a job.
This This is the Sports Shock Show with Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
You may Pill began, Do me up, Dan, can you
win me down? Get you frank me down?

Yet I come to Mark?

Is it just doing?

Speaker 7 (00:43):
I'm gonna do it, Bain, I'm gonna go on the
way you may Bill began.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Welcome, Welcome, Welco. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
I'm the Sport Shock Wayne Gandy. We are live here
in Atlanta, Georgia, and we are ready. Training camps are
opening for the NFL. You would think I could get

(01:08):
a round of applause, but you know some people they
still back in ninety seven. They haven't moved to the
to the new world. Miss listen to the perfect beat.
You missed right there too in the words ex President,

(01:32):
you're fired, commands greg in the fielding. NFL camps are
opening and one or two are open. We'll have the
Hall of Fame game here soon. So that TV game
that you see will be live. It is not a replay.

(01:53):
I know it doesn't seem like. It also doesn't seem
like in a lot of places. School is about to
start again here about two weeks. But enjoyed the next
fourteen days of the slow traffic. It will pick up
here very soon. Right off the bat, as you can see,
I got my full ensemble on the percussion. I got

(02:15):
command you, Greg, Greg. Just since it's training camps, right,
let's get this out the way. Are the Cowboys gonna
win the Super Bowl this season? I'm gonna go with no, Okay,
I got them no right there on saxophone. New York

(02:40):
Jets going to win the Super Bowl this year? Absolutely, unequivocally. Yes.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
They're gonna spank every booty you put in front of
their hands.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Hard so that s down, boy.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
No, yes, spank others between the lines. I ain't no.
The sax is clear and on the trumpet over here,
bad producer, you're the Lanta Falcon. This our year, this

(03:18):
is my year. Yeah, Pachael, Phoenix number nine is your tea.
They're doing what they I'm supposed to be doing right now.
We got a shot. We right there, We zero to zero.
Everybody records even I mean, our team is ready, I

(03:39):
mean and and full transparency.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Based on my team's performance, everybody would call me delutionional.
They would say that I'm one of them fans that
just won't accept reality. And I'm gonna live in that
space because the season has not started.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
And this could be that time. Aaron Glen a new
head coach. Listen, not the vaccine, That's what I'm saying.
That's that's where you go.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
That's where you go to eroding people's confidence is when
you start making sense and being logical.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
But that's not what we're doing. That's not that's not
in delusion.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
And I'm not being delusive because we our defense has
stepped up, and I mean the NFC South, it just
takes a little bit to get to the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
We'll get to the playoffs. That's a whole new season.
So I'm right. I'm believing that we get to the playoffs.
We're there. Okay. I love the confidence.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
That's all we got. Com on you, Greg, get you
some get you some confidence. That's what you lack, Cowardly Lion,
get you some heart.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
You're lacking confidence. I'm being reasonable. That's not what we
need at the beginning of the season, you need to
be Jerry Jones is. But training camps are opening for
the fail. In about a week, we'll start having the
colleges open up as well. How this season and goes

(05:01):
for anyone in college football who knows it takes a
minute because you got to figure out who transferred where.
You know their transfers are not as in your face
it's NFL. You kind of get whether you want to
know or not. NFL kind of lets you know their movement.

(05:23):
The transferred portal doesn't necessarily unless you're some already recognized name. Yes,
they don't tell you about someone that you might have
got into portal that is actually very good. Yeah, but
he just hadn't built up a name yet. But they
actually got a good piece that could complete their defense.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Office line coach Prime how he used to go and
poach people from these different programs and you'd be thinking,
like this dude, he got a whole new But seven
of these dudes. One came from Oklahoma, one came from Texas,
two came from Alabama. And now he he's got a
solid team somewhere in Jackson, Mississippi, And you wondering how
they get that good.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
But that's how and that's how he's done. Even now
Colorado think he went over to Tennessee and brought the volunteers.
I think he got maybe both of their safeties to
transfer to Colorado. So it is like that. So that's
why I'm saying, you almost have to wait and see
a little lady wants you hear the names because in

(06:25):
your mind, this certain player is still at the other
school that you know he hit seven miss, because really
it's not a quarterback or some high name. You don't
know all the movements of where people have gone.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
Seven miss, still hanging their hat on him like boy
were gonna be getting and here at Tulane.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Now I'm getting excited. Did any of you watch the
w NBA All Star Weekend? Anything bad? Producer, No, sir
zero now zorrow not the three point contest? Zeros ah
lesson command you great? What part did you watch? Because

(07:04):
I know you watched the.

Speaker 9 (07:05):
Part I watched the commercial that advertised the w NBA.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
All Star Game, and uh, Vic Kenny, because you look
like you're shame that you watched it all. You watched
it all? No, I was gonna say that was this weekend?

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Yeah it now that I did Indiana. I didn't watch
it because I didn't even know it was happening. Uh So, no,
we talked about it, did we? Now this is I
will in full transparency. I was watching Sports Center and
I saw three females talking about the w n B

(07:48):
A from court side, and I was wondering what. But
then I figured out as they showed a background shot
that it was in Indiana and it had something to
do with the All Star Game. But it was a
mystery to me up until that coverage yesterday. So no,
I didn't get to view or even be aware.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Well the part I asked that because the one Domino.
I'm still trying to figure out what the WNBA because
I want to know if they are right or wrong.
Right now, in my mind, I have the young ladies
and the women wrong because in my mind I remember

(08:31):
just recently. First of all, I remember when the inception
of the WNBA came. I remember when they had to
reduce the amount of teams in the WNBA to keep
it alive. There was a time they reduced it. I
think they maybe started about twenty teams and then had

(08:52):
to come down to something like a twelve or you know,
right now they're still at twelve thirteen. Yeah, and they
just put and they just put that thirteen team. But
the young ladies had a shirt when they were warming
up said on the front, pay us what you owe us.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Now.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Now I went, and I didn't want to jump to conclusions.
That's why I'm here with you guys to get a
little information from the reports we receive, or if you
haven't seen another report, the n BA owns about sixty
sixty five percent of each of the teams and then
someone else, but everybody's been claiming that just up until

(09:37):
maybe two years ago, they had been losing money all
these years, correct or did something change? I think they
had been losing money every year. Yeah, they lost last
year as a thought, but it was it was less
I remember, and.

Speaker 6 (09:55):
We could fact check this because sometimes you know, based
on certain things, people questioned my memory. But I remember
doing a report here at the show that said, since
its inception up until right now, the w NBA has
always fallen short of even breaking even. They've lost money

(10:17):
every single season, even the best season.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
And that was part of why some of the accommodations
they felt like, we're not there. The ownership is saying, well,
we don't have isn't that right? The whole plane situation.
They don't fly private, they didn't know the hotels. One
or two times they got stuck in some cities waiting

(10:43):
on transportation, that kind of stuff. Excuse me. So when
they wear these shirts, I'm confused because I want to
get you your money if somebody, if you can show
me where the door collected more. Yeah, they signed. He
said you're gonna do the show tonight, and the Door

(11:04):
gonna pay him thirty percent, got thirty with fourteen dollars.
Now they won't. But the people got on you wear
a shirt like the door collected fourteen thousand dollars. Yeah,
and the Door is saying they only got fourteen dollars
and the.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
Agreement was based on my ability to draw I would
get a percentage of the door.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
So now I'm trying to blame it on what they're
advert break and come back. But it seems that the
things I read since the All Star Game, the players
are saying there's some money somewhere, right, but like we
holding out on you, and the owners are holding.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
Out posting they got they they went back to get
their recouitment we'll.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Be back more than Sports Jog Show right after this,
she husky.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
The next level. Hey, that's how you come in on

(15:39):
that song? Bad but just trying that, like he was
too cool for this, but you know how you can
ride around the LTD. The dad let him use that
LTD back in the late eighties. Welcome back to this boy, Shock,
This boy Shock, Wayne gain d W. The NBA All

(16:01):
Star Weekend is over, Team Clark losing to Team Callier
one fifty thirty one. So the ladies of the w
NBA picking up where the men left off and just
basically just on the court. Nobody's I mean, typically if
you watch a WNBA game, rarely do both teams get

(16:21):
one hundred points. Rarely rarely do both teams get one
hundred points like a big game is when one of
the teams, remember they played forty They only play forty minutes,
so they don't have that extra eight minutes like the NBA,
so they rarely even get to one hundred for one team. Here,
one to fifty one. The fessor Callier winning the All

(16:45):
Star Trophy scoring thirty eight points in the game. One
of the best that's doing it right now in that
Minnesota market. So you don't really get to hear her
like with Asia Wilson with Bays or Breonna Stewart with
the Liberty Liberty, New York Liberty Caitlyn Clark. The excitement

(17:09):
from Indiana is that she's from that area, so it
puts her where she is. So it's not necessarily that
the team which they've always you know, back with to
meet to me catchings had some good teams in Indiana,
but she being from that Midwest really puts that team
on the map. But Professor Callier out of University of
Kentucky very dominant played on the women's USA team. She

(17:34):
is definitely a top five player. Last year, I think
she came third in MVP race maybe second, so very
worthy to be the team captain. As you can hear
team call youer uh and she also won the MVP.
As I said during warm ups for the two teams,

(17:56):
they wore, pay us what you owe us and and
as you guys go through the week, because we're going
to move on, see if you can find anything where
we're we have it wrong, because we can have it wrong.
Maybe they're saying there's some money somewhere. Uh, it's it

(18:17):
comes off as though because the NBA is partnered, and
but the NBA players can show their money. Yeah, whether
we agree with how much their salaries, trust me. It's
a lot of guys getting paid money and barely even
showing up. But they show, they can show you on

(18:39):
the books their TV deal and you know, fifty of
the TV deal has to go to the players. We're
showing you that this is a four billion dollar TV deal.
We're not over here arguing that's that's that's part of it.

Speaker 9 (18:54):
Just uh, the WNBA, the players get only nine point
three percent of the of the league revenue.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Okay, okay, well okay, so the WNBA is getting nine
percent of the WNBA league revenue. Yes, And if the
WNBA gave them fifty percent, then the WNBA itself would
probably have to shut down. I mean, this is what

(19:25):
I'm saying about the NBA TV deals is I can
pay you and still make a profit at the end
of the season, and it's all. It's business.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
I think sometimes in the WNBA and other industries, people
feel like they ought to be paid for their preparation, dedication,
and desire to compete. That doesn't add up on a spreadsheet,
that doesn't generate at the box office.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Just because you work.

Speaker 6 (19:53):
Really hard and you're dedicated and you played just as
hard and I train all the year, but again.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
The door made fourteen dollars and it seems commands you
bad producer Big Kenny, that maybe the ladies are expecting
ownership to take more of the loss. That's because they
got some money and escrow somewhere. For me to come
to you with a deal that sounds that unfair base.

(20:24):
Where it's ninety ten, I must be assuming a lot
of the risk. That's what I'm asking. How am I
gonna give you more? And what am I supposed to
as the person who put the money up in the
first place. If I go up to forty sixty, you're
taking me telling me to take thirty percent less of anything.

(20:46):
But if I've been losing money right now, I would
I can see this being ninety ten until I make
my money back. Trying to reach oat me. Let me
ask this question. Is that with the TV deal that
they're currently in and they just gotten that deal, like
the new deal goes into place next year, so that

(21:07):
so that money will go up and then that will
turn into a profit. But as of where it is
right now, because it's the TV deal is so low.
That's part of why there is no why they haven't
made a profit all this time, because of the current
TV deal, but the new one it will go up.

(21:27):
There will be a profit, but they're trying. The players
are trying to get at least more of a at
least higher than nine percent. My question is do the ladies.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
Do the ladies still go overseas because that's where a
lot of them would make their money when they would
go overseas. So are they I mean, my thing is
the money that was over there, it's not available here?
Is it not available here?

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Is it not?

Speaker 8 (21:53):
A way the same way they can try to pull
those resources how they pay them there to because I
know some of them was like trying to stay like
Kaitlin and Angel they don't. They don't have to go overseas,
but there's some even down t Rassi and a lot
of them they had to go overseas well.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
The marketing dollars are up, so that helps the Caitlin
Clarks and those and a lot of the w NBA
players now that they are more marketable off the court.
I think last year was the first or this earlier
this year they tried that unrivaled league. It seemed to
have some success. Uh, they have been part of their

(22:32):
whole protests in a sense has been, hey, can we
need more money because we don't want to be.

Speaker 8 (22:40):
Overseas And then the thing about it, they've taken over
the whole State Farm of.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Advertising.

Speaker 8 (22:49):
But what I'm saying, though, I mean, you got like
three players that's in the State Farm. They removed Chris
Paul and all the mail from that, so you you
get some movement.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
That's not a lead thing I'm saying, is it unfair
to you pay us what you owe us by twenty
twenty six because that's when the money go up. You
asking me to pay you for which money we don't
have yet.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Right And after that explanation, Greg, I get it. They're
just trying to make sure on the next deal. The
shirts made it seem like, right now the league has
been doing me wrong and that's intentional. That's intentional. That's
the sor campaign. Yeah, that's the embarrassment campaign. Turn a
profit like, okay, we can get more than So you're

(23:34):
using this moment to position yourself for a better rallying
cry at the table for the next deal, which is good,
but in the present, wearing those shirts make it seem
like we're over here making a profit and you're not.
Were just holding out on you. We'll be back with
more to Sports Jock Show right after this.

Speaker 14 (23:52):
Yoh, maybe she's doing volunteer work in Rio. It's not

Shedding Shop seems to be taking steps or have taken steps,
to close his civil case. He was being sued basically

(27:06):
on a rape lawsuit, and over the weekend his lawyer,
Tony Buzzby says that they have come to a deal.
I even read a story, guys where the person who
won the case says that they will be retiring from
only fans after this deal, which is so interesting that

(27:29):
you would even feel the need to tell people that.
But seems like a app that you just stopped being on.
I just stopped being on, Yeah, y'all to be clicking on,
and I.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Just and to say now that I don't got this settlement,
I'm gonna stop doing. OnlyFans sounds like OnlyFans did exactly
what I was hoping it would do for me. Got
me the first trap you, then I put you in
a situation, and now I done cashed out.

Well, you don't have yourself to blame.

Speaker 6 (28:01):
You only have yourself to blame. And only fans. Yeah,
because only fans ain't never been a I think you
liked me. Only fans has always been paid to play.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
So Shannon Shark, My biggest question with you guys is
that is there any hope really in your mind of Shannon?
And when I say that, because we've seen people like
remember Matt Lower, Yeah, Matt Lowe was Matt Lowell was
a morning staple. Oh you're talking about that? Yeah, generation generation.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
No, seriously, I watched I watched Matt Lower on the
Today Show from the time I was in college until
the time that uh literally till about two thousand or
when that happened. Whenever that happened in the two thousands,
That's how long I watched him. So it's minimum of generation.
He got those sexual allegations, and I don't know where

(29:01):
here in.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
This field can is there a comeback. We know that
you can. You can be Shannon and do music right
and find you know, p Diddy has a better chance. Yes,
for the feel in which he ends, because there's kind

(29:23):
of kudos to pimping your music.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
You always take that that takes that that won't stop,
can't stop your credit. Yeah, we ain't go in nowhere.
That's that bad boy for.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Light so here. You know, the rest of the hip
hop industry like, what's wrong? Just don't go to his house?
What's wrong? That's what the rest of them they don't
understand what what the problem is. They don't understand. No
no info for the d E. I mean, you know
what I'm saying, people getting shot, people shoot yes again

(30:01):
b I G P O, P p A. No info
for the in the industry of sports and television on
a national now now, I'm not talking about the podcast.

Speaker 18 (30:14):
You know.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
That's because the podcast is set up like hip hop yep,
it's for that night. Podcast is for the Vulture. They
have decided to let David what's his name the glasses?

Speaker 15 (30:28):
What was the.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Most famous guy they used to do that after dark?
Let no what's his name with the glasses? Wasn't Howard?
How hot. That's how they want all shot shot stuff.
So he could do that. But do you see him

(30:52):
ESPN in box A b C N b C again.
Now okay, now, how is he going to do that?
I think with uh or First of all, no, no
better question is who has stumbled down this road and
been able to stumble back up? And that's why I

(31:19):
used the name Matt Lower.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
Yes, think about this now, sports shock when you use
Matt Lower, I thought of another.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
N J Holmes was just sleeping with his co host
and they fired him. Told him. Look, I don't even
know what John Lemon did. Don Lemon he said something derogatory.
Brian Williams I like that he got shot. He should

(31:48):
have been a sympathetic NBC. We still got He's still
I can think of is David Letterman that he but
he's in podcast thing now. Well, he was still able
to still when he when he had the issue with
like the intern or whoever the staffer was during the show,
he was able to continue and he ended out the

(32:12):
show and retired. So late night, late night again, that's
what I mean, the late night because we have you know,
late night has always been.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
What about Marv Albert that's what Jared Lloyd just asked,
what about that's a good that's a good example.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Ye did, but didn't he go away? That was a
little bit before, Jared. That's a good point, Jared. It
was about it's about seventeen months before sensibility stagged me too. Yeah, yeah,
years before that. And was mar Yeah, Marv was in

(32:50):
there with with the underwear on. Yeah, and he had
the pantyhose. But listen, listen, but he he was fighting.
He called lightweight light wait p did he called after
leaving a bike mark? So that was one of his problems.
I ain't gonna judge, but that is that is a

(33:12):
close one though. That is a good one. But we
didn't all better, chick. That is a good one, Jared, Right,
we all thinking about it. I'm asking you who has
for for little specs Jalen Rose. I have no idea
what Jaylen even happened. James Rose was doing a great job.
I thought he was good and good and something happened.
He said something stephen A. People just disappearing in this industry.

Speaker 9 (33:38):
Cuts when like half the ESPN people were getting fired.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
And this is what happens. It's not all those guys
at the NFL network. Gone coaching Gone Gone, Marshall falk
Is the coaching Colorado Warrenson allegation. And this is what happens.
Barbar never made it back, never made it back. Tiki

(34:02):
Barbers run Day now. Tiki Barber's on any on Fox News.
Now you sure that ain't run day? I know run
his brother, the twin brother to calls the game. Yes,
it is now. And this is what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (34:16):
We have to understand that it's not these networks. ESPN
might be willing to bring us Shannon back, Marv and
Brian and all of those people might have connections where
people would go, man, I don't mind giving you your
job back, but our sponsors have said we can't have that.
We're not going to sponsor you if you bring him back.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Tiki's doing radio, and that's what I'm saying. Shannon probably
can go back and still take over the night part,
the day part, that first take. So that was the
whole thing we were always discussing on the show. Is
his vampire this gonna catch up with his day? Yeah?
Remember the most of the issues that we even would

(34:58):
discuss was I think he said after at night, Yes,
could ESPN or Fox be able to carry those statements
by day.

Speaker 8 (35:08):
Yes, yes, well, I mean it's I think it's two
different it's two different platforms when he's at day and
night night. You know, like I said, he wants to
be more of a shock because I've seen recently had
he's had Joe Johnson on there, you know, been there
as one of his guests and talking with them and uh,
well a regular like you know, putting in and uh,

(35:31):
I think that the I think I'm with Greg. I
think he'll get a shot to come back. He knows
how to handle the daytime, the professionalism part of it.
That's what they want. They want that little bit of
aggressiveness that he gives. How do you separate the two people?
But how do you separate? But my doctor moribius, But

(35:53):
I mean it's it's it could be done. It could
be done where I mean he's he can still continue.
He's doing it now, he still can do what he's
doing at night. And if you want to hear that
at night, and we want to hear that, where you
go to that. But if you're not, you just stay
away from it.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
What we're saying is we still believe, well what I'm
saying I believe he still has a night career, a
very prolific Yes, yeah, I'm not knocking that. But his
night career doesn't involve women. So he's not on the
show with women. He's on the show with oo or himself.

(36:32):
He just bring yeah and then he produces a few others.
But I'm talking about where he was gonna getting across
from skip the money. Yeah, his day. I don't think
who has been who has been revived?

Speaker 6 (36:50):
And this is the problem when you put him Wait,
you can say that all the stuff that he went through,
the stuff that he that.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
Settled a rape case, you saying that you pay rate
means that you raped two things.

Speaker 6 (37:06):
One he said on one thing he said did he said?
I mean, I wait, wait, bad producer, let me say that. No,
I'm actually did I mean? They said it settled. But
I thought it was more rich to the point that
it was like, not there, here's the big deal. Here's
something because I know I have to go knock on
your daughter. You have two daughters, right, I come, I
come over the I'm gonna be their tennis coach. I

(37:29):
give you my resume, I tell you. In twenty twenty five,
I settled a rape case with one of my former
of my former students. What are most parents going to
do once they see that settled? As a person who
settle cases, what what?

Speaker 15 (37:47):
What?

Speaker 3 (37:47):
What does that parent typically do?

Speaker 8 (37:50):
I mean the aesthetics, they're gonna say, Oh, I'm not
gonna go with that person. That's all that, that's that's
But what I'm saying. You can say that that's fine,
and I agree with you on that, and that's a
valid point.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
But what I'm saying is he settled something and sealing money,
then you can't be my CPA.

Speaker 8 (38:08):
Listen when when you please content? No, maybe not yours,
but somebody is gonna be out there to give that person.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
And really quick, let me say this, bad producer. If
I'm a network and I hire you after you settle
a rape case and something comes up where there's an
air of impropriety around you and women at my job,
I've created a hostile work environ. I don't know because
I know you that person. I don't know any agent

(38:36):
that survived. I stole some money and I don't know
no network. I killed themselves because they knew they couldn't
come back from when they legally was found out that
they stole money. There's no way back from that. So

(38:57):
we will see. And I'm pulling.

Speaker 19 (38:59):
I know.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
I'm glad he has that night component, yeah, because I
always felt like the direction he was going was for
the night. Yeah, that he was trying to be the
next arsen of your hall. And he gonna need to
recoup some of that money. She got a sports show
this you did get a little nice little song.

Speaker 7 (39:24):
Still, let me stay know.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
I can tell who's on the payoff. Twenty five shows
should have found.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Don't Go awayne Board of the Sports Josh Hill with
Wayne Gandia is coming up next.

you build trust, becomes easier. As a parent, you want

And now back to the sports job, Dwayne Gandy between you.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
Long so you can see sports chain sing even what
Back to the Sports Shock Show.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I'm the Sports Shock wing Gandy, And I know it's
been about four or five shows since we talked about
that Michael Jordans Vince Carter, But anyone that heard that show,
they've been going back and forth with me about that
whole best dunker ever thing, and uh, just good to

(42:33):
hear some of the different comments just out of anywhere.
They'll send me a clip, y'all don't know what you're
talking about. I missed this one. I'm like, okay, I'm
still telling the best in game dunker. The best dunker
I've ever seen is Vince Carter. Game, Yes, in game,
but yeah, I'll take comparison to Jordan's. Okay, I was

(42:58):
just wondering given better. That's something about I thought.

Speaker 8 (43:01):
I thought Dominique was a better end game dunker than
Michael Jordans. I mean my, I mean just I he
played above the ram. He was a highlight. That's why
they called him human highlight. But Vince Sanity was he
is that guy. He put some down in college too,
like that. And I differentiated the Tube based on the

(43:24):
there's trick dunks and we see that in the dunk
contest or they put it on YouTube or something.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Yeah, those are trick dunks. That means you're doing it
how you want, You're taking as many steps, you're positioning people.
I'm telling you Vince Carter was doing stuff that with
live action figures.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
Yes, like we like get the rebound, throw the ball
out two steps and to Vince greandit. He was doing
that in high school too, so he started college in
a great commerce.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
The president, President Don Trump, wants the Cleveland Guardians and
the Washington Commanders to go back to their old names. Guys. Yeah,
this is a big conversation for something like this to
consistently be on the docket of sports for the last

(44:22):
four or five years. Someone has something to say higher ups, politicians,
sports fans. What are these two teams going to do?
I mean, they seem to be in a struggle. Other
teams have changed their names and went on about their business.
I mean the Hornets went to being the Pelicans, back

(44:44):
to the Hornets and went on with life. These two
teams are stuck with nobody wants the name that they
changed to.

Speaker 9 (44:57):
Now, go ahead, Greg Well with the with the Pelicans,
the when they left Charlotte and became the Orders, they
then became the Repelicans. That left the Hornets open for
the Bobcats. The current Hornets are we the Bobcats.

Speaker 19 (45:15):
But with.

Speaker 9 (45:20):
He had I don't think he has any kind of
say so over this threatening to hold up the stadium deal,
Like what does the what does the president have to
do with a team getting a new stadium?

Speaker 3 (45:35):
And it's.

Speaker 9 (45:37):
I I think it's just something throughout there just to
be in that conversation.

Speaker 8 (45:43):
I I.

Speaker 9 (45:45):
Don't think there's he has that kind of influence over
over NFL teams like that.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
Well, a lot of people feel like the Washington Commanders
became the Commanders because of the political big wigs in
Washington saying that you can't have a derogatory name like
red Skins and be in the nation's capital, so that
wouldn't put politicians smack dab in the middle of how

(46:12):
this even the word command? Then something this.

Speaker 6 (46:16):
Is counter to and write in line with this administration's
elimination of woke ideology. That's why the names were changed,
because you, as the general public, decided that this team
shouldn't be allowed to name themselves as a private industry
what they want to name themselves. You went to bat

(46:39):
for a race of people that were cool, that had
made a deal and were benefiting from the name red Skins.
But now you've come along as politicians and lawmakers and
you've decided that they can't have that anymore. And then
you told them to have a contest to come up
with a name that was something that steal for it

(47:00):
strength and dominance, but wasn't attached to people's culture and history.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
And that's why they changed the name.

Speaker 6 (47:10):
And once you took down the Redskins, the Guardians was like,
hey man, we ain't gonna survive. We call ourselves to
flat out Indians we know were not gonna make it,
so let's just change.

Speaker 3 (47:21):
That's just like being the Atlanta Colored people. No, we
ain't gonna be able to do that after they've done changed.

Speaker 6 (47:27):
So they changed it to keep moving and so people
wouldn't protest and the sponsors didn't have to pull out
and all of that stuff. And now the President is
coming along saying, hey, words, I got your back on
this if.

Speaker 3 (47:43):
You want to. If you didn't change the name because
you wanted to, It's like I grew up just like
these two gentlemen and yourself, you're old enough. I grew
up on Loot Skywalker. George Lucas say, hold on, I'm

(48:05):
Luke Skywalker. That brand belongs to me. So you got
about seventy two hours to find you a new name.
Because Luke Skywalker that has a lightsaber and Luke Skywalker
who talking about shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it,

(48:29):
shake it can't be the same person. So he changed
his name to what uncle loul It's the same kind
of idea. Those teams were never changing their names, left
up to their ideology. Well it was, and the political

(48:51):
landscape attacked them in DC and.

Speaker 6 (48:54):
When and Donny Brown ja he reminded me that the
Guardians changed their name fir first. But he's saying that
it wasn't the politician, it was the sponsors, which I
did say that based on.

Speaker 3 (49:06):
Spoke hardly and Nike went hard at down politician. And
what do they call they got from the Washington Bullets
to the Washington Willard Wizards.

Speaker 6 (49:21):
What do they call them? People that go to Washington
and lobbyists? Right, it might not be the direct politician,
but he didn't sent somebody to.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
You want to fly into this airport? Well, I am
the secretary under secretary of where you can land. Yeah,
don't try to separate corporation and politicians. That that that's
to believe that we live in a just society. M m.

Speaker 6 (49:49):
They're the same people, because tomorrow will be complaining that
the politicians are bought by the big corporations. And that's
why Donald Trump wants to big beautiful so he can
kill all of those tax breakers.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
You want the Guardians to go back, I don't care, Well,
you know, don't don't take that attitude. That's why we
got half the problems in this country. People talking about
they don't care. Would you like them to go back?

Speaker 9 (50:19):
If they went back? I had no issue with them
going back. I just don't think the president has the
influence for that a really long time, because it took
it took Washington like five years to really settle in
on command like they were the Washington football team, and

(50:40):
then commander the Brandy as.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
People who are following her acting like cowboy boots was
just invented back in Mark. I swear they did that
when my granddaddy had threefold path ostreach. If the president

(51:04):
forget what his name is. Every president's voice of what
they like and don't like is monumental in people's decisions
because there's a lot of people right there. There is
no there's no impact here. Man told me the other
day his call wouldn't started with Donald Trump. We'll be.

Speaker 11 (51:29):
Right.

Speaker 3 (51:38):
She brought a buddy in what you're studying education.

Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gamley.

Speaker 25 (52:56):
Center cord on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 3 (53:39):
What about this? What shock shall I'm this what shock
wing ganty? As we talked about, training camps are opening
around n f L. So each and every day the
NFL will grow with all the big stories until the
games actually start playing. Word is Joe Burrow his stolen property?

(54:04):
Found that the pawn shop the pawn shop owner. It
means to selling Joe Burrow stolen proper the Now, what
is the law do any of you know with pawn
shops they have do they if they if they if
they actually know I means are stolen. Well, here's the

(54:27):
deal with the pawn shops on that situation. Worked in
the in the nineties, worked in the pond business. But
you the thing about it, You could take in a
lot of things.

Speaker 8 (54:40):
You'll never know they're stolen until the police department come
and they'll say, hey, we got a couple of leads.
We are looking for some breaking and enterings. Do you
have these items? Uh, we got a lead that you
may have these items here, So you go, you look
at seral, lem me see it. Then they'll find out
who pawned, they'll take that name go from there. But
the pawn item is already there. Sometimes they take them,

(55:03):
sometimes they don't, depending on the situation severity of it.
If it's a gun or something in that case, but
more like electronics and things like that, it's just they
just got to build a case.

Speaker 6 (55:15):
I believe the difference with these pawn shop owners in
this situation was, first of all, like you said, it
has to have documentation of who's pawning it, and in
that they are signing under penalty of perjury that this
stuff is mine. It is lawfully legally mine. Number two,

(55:37):
Joe Burrow has some customized items that once they were stolen,
they sent out memos saying be on the lookout for
this stuff.

Speaker 3 (55:47):
And they're asserting that y'all knew that, and you still
willing to say these things.

Speaker 8 (55:54):
And here's the thing about being upon and broken working
most everything. The people to bring times it's hot, it's
I mean, excuse me, it's either taking or stolen.

Speaker 3 (56:05):
I won't say hot. Well, but the concept of the
pawn shop is that we as individuals all on financial struggle,
whether it's momentary right or long term term, and we
need to get rid of an item. It's a stop
gap measure.

Speaker 6 (56:26):
And this that's why they had the Now you have
to bring a state issued ID and give a thumb print.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
It was like that even when iut and that's been
like and a customer is coming to this store looking
for items, Yes, that someone Pond did not or was
not able to come back and get hit. Yes. And
now the pawn shop owner, yes, is just trying to

(56:55):
make a profit. Yes. And as a consumer, I'm trusting
the pawn shot. Yes.

Speaker 8 (57:04):
When I go to bad I've never bought anything from
one y. They thoroughly check a lot of the things.
The jewelry, the diamonds, it has to be checked. They
got all the everything is checked for authentication and.

Speaker 6 (57:20):
Right, so how do you get your hands on obviously
reported stolen merchandise?

Speaker 8 (57:28):
See here we go again, fake id's all those different things.
People come in and fuck Pond.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
Wait wait, wait, you don't listen to what I'm saying.
I understand what I'm saying. No, no, no, listen to
what I'm saying. Okay, I'm telling you.

Speaker 6 (57:42):
The reason now that we have a picture state issued
picture I D is you might be able to tell
me a different name, but your face the same. I
get your thumb print at the point of sale, because
you might be able to give me some erroneous information,
but your thumb print will always be your thumb.

Speaker 3 (58:04):
Print even now in the pawn shots.

Speaker 8 (58:06):
When you purchase, they take your I D and take
your thumb print when you purchase something. Now, I've never
understood that since they implemented that because.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
It's in the State of Georgia.

Speaker 8 (58:20):
Now, some states they don't require you when you purchase items,
but in the State of Georgia, not only when you pawn,
you have when you make a purchase.

Speaker 3 (58:28):
Well, I want to find it. Yeah, I dropped the ball.
Now that is stolen, not that I knew it was stolen.
I'm just saying as the process goes along.

Speaker 6 (58:40):
Oh, that was the Bad Producers watch where I sold
it to this guy named commanche Gregg.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Too late.

Speaker 8 (58:46):
If it's a year later and I have got it now,
I'm on. But the police can track him down it
comes see me. I don't talk about well, well, I
didn't come to you to say you you know what
I'm saying that watch. Hey, look, y'all gonna pay me
more than if you want it back. No, no, sir,
I'm saying police. Whoever, you sound like somebody that does

(59:09):
not know what you're talking about. And that's why buffoons
go to jail listening to people like you. If he
comes and buys a watch and the police come in
and say I need you to know where this.

Speaker 3 (59:20):
Watch it and you don't have the record you are.

Speaker 8 (59:24):
What I'm saying is, if let's say Pond like at
the ninety days, if no one comes back to collect
or pay for the part that goes out on the floor.
Let's say I come in three months later, still there,
and that's another six months. If I buy that watch
the police cup they come looking for me, it's I'm sorry, it's.

Speaker 3 (59:44):
No, no, sir, Okay, I sold that watch. They got
to deal with the Barns. Listen, No, sir, listen, I
didn't have nothing to do with. No, sir, listen, I
think you're I think you're taking all this. I'm trying
to just track down the stolen merchandise. I just need.
I didn't say he stole. I'm saying my line man's mind. Now, okay,

(01:00:05):
what's the law for it's the what's the finders keeper's law?

Speaker 8 (01:00:08):
Ain't no receiving stolen this because I bought it from
a place of purchase. That a bit of business. I mean,
I haven't received anything stolen at that. You can't say
that the.

Speaker 9 (01:00:20):
Watch says Joe Burrow number nine on it. Who don't
know that Joe Burrow might have had sir.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
Never mind, sir.

Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
If you are in possession of any stolen property, no
matter how long you've had that property, no matter how
legally you thought you purchased that property, once the authorities
show up with proof that this is the property were
looking for, that property will be forfeited at your expense.

Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Tough luck. Bad things happen to good people all the time.
This is the law. Don't be mad, tito. It's the law. Yeah.
Because even to the point, real quick, Big Kenny could
get a divorce, but before the divorce went through, his
wife went in pawned something of his. After the court case,

(01:01:10):
the judge deemed that she didn't have the right to
do that. That was my stock, that was Big Kenny's stuff.
And but like Elder, she's sent it and it went
down the chain. We found it. You gotta send that
stuff back to Big Kenny.

Speaker 8 (01:01:23):
But like Elder Casey just said, if it's not registered
in the system, that is stolen, they won't they won't
even let you sell it. So it has to be
in the system registered at the point, like some things
are stolen items that they're looking That's.

Speaker 6 (01:01:37):
Why this man got charged because that's what I said
in the beginning, but let everybody know it was stolen.

Speaker 3 (01:01:44):
Everybody but you doing fifty years.

Speaker 14 (01:01:51):
To the bland out. I know my grandpa would have
a heart attack if I pulled a hundred brand out,
so I'm not gonna pull a hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Wayne Poor of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandy
is coming up next.

Speaker 12 (01:02:06):
Most people out here think that taking care of one
another is important, and most people would step up for
a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
here help out friends and family when they need it.
But the funny thing is most of us won't look
for help when we need it. Talk to someone if
you're struggling with mental health, because most people out here
really care. Find more information at Love Youormind Today dot org.

(01:02:30):
That's Love Yourmind Today dot org, brought to you by
the Huntsband Mental Health Institute and the AD Council.

Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
Enough sham and we hold the world ransom for Wayne.
Excuse me while I whip this out.

Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Sure broadcasting live and it led to a jag of this.
This is the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 5 (01:02:59):
You may.

Speaker 15 (01:03:01):
Up?

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Can you play me?

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
Come to come to get gonna come to marget?

Speaker 13 (01:03:09):
Is it just.

Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
I'm gonna do it again.

Speaker 26 (01:03:15):
I'm gonna go on the.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Way it's for shock shows. Oh man, y'ah. You know,
some days it's just great to do this show.

Speaker 6 (01:03:25):
A b were gonna come up with a whole show,
call off the mic and let these people hear some
of the stuff the bad producers say when the mic ain't.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Hot, because because the baducer represents such a great amount
of people, who has this idea that almost like if
you get away with it, then it's right, you're a
loss charging to the game kind of mentality. How people
do mean the time limit for my stuff that Joe

(01:03:58):
Burrow number nine watch, Oh no, it's been past six months.
And this is the thing. This is the thing, This
is the thing.

Speaker 6 (01:04:06):
Producer, You honestly think that it's entertaining because you don't
live in a place where people make those judgments every day.
But I'm from a place where I used to be
one of them people. If you could be prayed on,
you was food and it didn't make a difference to me.
How we rationalized it, and that was wrong, And everybody

(01:04:29):
that I'm wrong deserved an apology and they.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Never got it because I was wrong and I was cool.
Being wrong.

Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
But I've changed and now I understand that that ain't reality.
You just can't go around stepping on people. And because
they can't do nothing back to you. You strong enough
in the streets, you bad enough, they don't want to
risk it. That ain't right, That ain't right. While you
gotta change the heart. Now you sound like you used

(01:04:57):
to love doing that. And I had a your heart
because when you know better, you do bad. Term put
your new better before, though, kiddy. And that's what I'm saying.
My heart wasn't right. It wasn't never my sensibilities. It
was my spirit.

Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
And when my spirit changed, I changed my ways. I
didn't hold on to none of that.

Speaker 6 (01:05:16):
Still can do this and justify it wrong, wrong, right, right,
And I'm grown enough to admit that I'm mature enough
to go, man, you was wrong.

Speaker 8 (01:05:26):
I got this two carried five five thousand dollars a
diamond ringe. You could get it for five hundred. You
want it, and I want it. I'll take it from you.
That's what I'm saying. That's meant to get it for
five hundred. That's me now that I know you got it,
give it here. Why I gotta pay you for it.
I got some things that make you won't.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
Now, did I know that I come take it harder.

Speaker 26 (01:05:49):
That's when I'm you talking to a person that don't
care about none of that. You think that stuff will
stop some people. The fact that you armed don't make
no difference to me. I'm coming the same way. Why
would that make a difference to me. I'm showing up
to hurt you and take your snore. We're talking about
the pawn shop. Now, I'm talking about wrong, but we're
talking about coming to the pawn shop.

Speaker 8 (01:06:09):
Ain't nobody coming in there sticking nobody up. It's just as.

Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Wrong I'm talking about.

Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
I'm talking about bringing my stuff out and stole from
somebody to the pawn shop. Yeah, and you saying it's
okay that I sell it and then if he buy it,
he should be able to keep it.

Speaker 8 (01:06:32):
I'm saying, none of that makes sense, because all of
it is wrong. Well, that's why I'm saying. They get
it's like a ninety day period. It's enough time to
if it's stolen, if it's or anything like that, it
could get registered within the system, or to get the
police detect this time, who's investigating K's to come through
search all the pawn shops. See if this thing that
they're looking for showing up, and then there's due diligence

(01:06:54):
on that. Now after ninety days, man, if somebody, I
mean they everybody, Okay, okay, I just free game.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Take it up at the court. I'll tell you what
the police should. Just tell me. Tell that to the judge.

Speaker 15 (01:07:07):
Sir.

Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
Why ninety days, I.

Speaker 8 (01:07:10):
Don't know why they picked particularly most pawn shot picked
ninety the whole items for three months.

Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
Ninety days. That's the time you got to come back
and get it.

Speaker 8 (01:07:19):
Yeah, but no, but no, no, no, but listen to me, though,
that's the time also enough time for police if the
product is hot, stolen or had been taken or that's
a lie, that's a lie.

Speaker 6 (01:07:33):
If it's stolen, it shouldn't be pawned because if there's
a record of it being stolen.

Speaker 8 (01:07:38):
But if it gets through, no, but I'm saying, if
it gets through, it gives the police time if.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
It no, no, no, no, you're saying that after ninety days.

Speaker 6 (01:07:46):
After police on the ninety ninth day tracked down his
stolen watch to your pawn shop, but you sold it
to the sports jock, the police can't come get it
from the sports jock. And that's a lie. It could
be years later. That's a stolen item. We've recovered it.
We recovered your stolen item. Now, it took us fourteen

(01:08:06):
years to find your stolen car, but it was in
somebody's garage in Delonaga.

Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
George, what did oj when he stole that stuff? And
that was his right? That was some stuff that had
at one point been stolen from him? From him? Yeah, yes,
that he had finally found. We know what kind of timeline.

Speaker 9 (01:08:28):
That was like a couple of at least a few months,
if not a couple of years, okay, because it was
like stuff from college and some other memorabilia. Who was
thus given to him? Who was the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
Winner?

Speaker 6 (01:08:48):
Whose son sold his rings and it took them Vince
Warford Wilfrid. How long did it take them to track
his rings down?

Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
I'm not sure what the time frame, but it took
quite some time, at least a few months.

Speaker 6 (01:09:02):
And he had sold them rings to people who thought
they made legitimate purchases.

Speaker 8 (01:09:06):
Only thing with the Joe Burrows, Now, if you get
something with somebody's name on it and number as a pawn,
because I've been to pawn shops here in Atlanta and
saw certain high end music producers their name on these
platinum plaques and stuff they've gotten in the past, and
they've pawned them and there now went past that ninety

(01:09:26):
days and they're out there available for you to buy.
This's got their name or presented to such and such.
I'm just saying, after some point in time, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
We're talking about stolen good I.

Speaker 6 (01:09:37):
Understand if I pawned my plaque as a award winning
broadcaster to they're welcome to it and you welcome to
buy it. But if you steal my plaque and sell
it to him and the police find it, I get
it back because I reported it as stolen, you're not
supposed to have it. You bought it under false pretense,

(01:09:57):
and that's the law.

Speaker 3 (01:09:59):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 6 (01:09:59):
A I hadn't been arrested for. That's what I'm saying.
I'm telling you about stuff I didn't watch people do
hard time for, and I'm the person. If I find
your stuff and I hear this story, I'm going to
try to find you and bring you your stuff back back.
I don't want something I'm sitting here like man because

(01:10:20):
I might have wanted it, but I didn't want it
from a stolen right. Since I didn't want it to
be stolen, I thought the process. You went down there,
you fell on hard times, you didn't come back to
collect it. I came through therapyle, got a good deal
on it. There are people right now who are in
trouble with international governments because they bought stolen art artifacts.

(01:10:45):
They knew it was stolen, It was reported stolen, but
they had it, never showed it to nobody till somebody
took a selfie with it and not in prison.

Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
Work on the new Nissan Stadium has halted as a
Friday after Nashville Police Department reported that a noose was
found on the construction site. The incident is currently under
investigation as the Tennessee Builders Alliance, which is leading construction
in the Tennessee Titans Stadium. The Tennessee Building Alliance is

(01:11:18):
offering a two one hundred and fifty thousand dollars reward
for information leading to the identification of the individual responsible
inside job. Wait now, wait now, they found a couple
of days off extra days. They found a noose a

(01:11:40):
new where at the construction site. Somewhere. Did it have
a note attached to it?

Speaker 11 (01:11:46):
Not?

Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
From what I'm reading? Was it that bubble of Wallace site?

Speaker 6 (01:11:50):
Because what I'm saying is I be wondering because I've
been past construction sites and sometimes they tie stuff to
stuff and pull it off the ground to make sure
that people can't come.

Speaker 3 (01:12:00):
And just yeah they put it up real high. Yeah,
so you can't reach it.

Speaker 6 (01:12:04):
Them generators, things like that. I've seen them do that.
So was this just something that was fashioned to hold
something or was it how do they image of it?

Speaker 3 (01:12:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:12:18):
It was it the old traditional four circles around the slip?
Not news was was there a dummy hanging in effigy?
That seems like a stretch for something that's under construct.

Speaker 3 (01:12:31):
Thing about a dummy? The article I'm on there is
no picture of it. Just a new Nissan stadium, and
I guess a worker ran into it and felt like
it was some type of racism message message I'm trying
to get some workers comp us up.

Speaker 6 (01:12:51):
I don't know, I mean, because again without supporting evidence
to say that this was intentionally meant for people of color,
I can't see where you go. When did the news
become just the people of color because they used to
hang everybody with you O. Yeah, I mean I love
Clint Eastwood movies called hang Them High. That's one of
my favorite Hang everybodybody. That used to be the method.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
Yeah, that's death penalty method execution. Yeah. If the hangman
say you're gonna hang he that's all I'm saying. Everybody.
If the hangman say you gonna hang, you hang, that's it.

Speaker 6 (01:13:31):
They didn't say if the hangman say the black folks,
they say, if the hangman say, you gonna hang And
I don't seen them all the good, the bad, and
the ugly on the end of the news. M a
at the end of the news. And that's all I'm saying.
It seems like a stretch that you would see a
noose and automatically take ownership of it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Oh that was for me now that someone had to
leave this in so that I could be offended. Yeah,
I know. They said as soon as they finished the
investigation they will start back on the job. But they're
supposed to open up the new stadium this year. They

(01:14:12):
want you to know that they do not stand behind
racism and hateful symbols. Somebody wanted to day off, it
would be back more to sports show right after.

Speaker 4 (01:14:22):
This Jn't Bowl Wayne more of the sports Josh Hill

Speaker 23 (01:17:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
Actress Gray's Anatomy Sandra oh Is fifty four years old,
Julianne huff Is thirty seven, Ben Simmons twenty nine, Ray Allen.
Ben Simmons is part of my thesis of why I
applaud the guys like Little Brown James, part of those

(01:17:43):
guys that they say they coming and then they don't
deliver nothing. Now many guys in that way, and you'll
be thinking, so you have to really applaud those that
when they said they.

Speaker 6 (01:17:58):
Was coming, they can't. They can't, shallowed up, showed out.
Everybody don't do that. Everybody don't do everybody don't show
up and show up. Vin Simmons was supposed to reinvent
the game, the game right, and he has barely played against.

Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
He has barely even pretty. He is still not on
a team. It won't even shoot. Twenty nine years old.
One of the pure shooters, maybe the prettiest shot that's
ever been in the NBA. Ray Allen, it's fifty years old.
Carlos Santana seventy eight. Judy Greer from ant Man. What

(01:18:35):
else is she in? De Greer? She plays ant Man's
the Wasp, but she played the Wasp. She would have
been in there too as the wife he was in.
I feel like she was on Buffy Year, So the
Degreer she's fifty six years old. Josh Hartnett it's forty seven.

(01:18:56):
Betty Gilpen is thirty nine. George Wallace the Comedian seventy three,
Tim Brown The Great Hall of Fame Raider is fifty nine.
Keishawn Johnson is fifty three. To Me Couch Catchings of
the Indiana Fever forty six, DeAndre Jordan thirty seven. Kevin

(01:19:17):
Winslow The Second is forty two. When is his release date?

Speaker 9 (01:19:24):
Hopefully a long time.

Speaker 6 (01:19:25):
Yeah, he has a couple of peals. He's been appealing
some of that stuff. Selena Gomez is thirty three. Harpo
Danny Glover is seventy nine, Keith Sweat sixty four, Ezekiel
Elliott is thirty, William Dafoe is seventy. Sean Michaels of

(01:19:46):
w w F is sixty, David Spade sixty one, and Kenny's.

Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
Boy that he just dropped the bag off too. Garrett
Wilson is twenty five years old and Just the model
is forty five years old. Big Kenny. Some work here
for start off the weekend. Yes, yes, summer heat.

Speaker 15 (01:20:16):
I was.

Speaker 6 (01:20:16):
I was looking at Julianna huff to you said, just
h and for twenty eight and three, Yes, pay back
twenty eight and three, reefing to ketch up and winning
this time, just say.

Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
Take that time.

Speaker 6 (01:20:32):
I know y'all ain't together no more, but clonk clock
it wasn't never supposed to happen.

Speaker 3 (01:20:38):
That's you know, ain't worry about all that.

Speaker 6 (01:20:41):
But me, I'm petty then okay, but I remember how
I felt that next morning, and that's what I'm trying
to erase out my mind when I clock in on
just say, oh, this is to bring me back to
feeling like I can go ahead and move on.

Speaker 3 (01:20:58):
Netflix, come on, you great, says making shows and films
with a I what does that mean? Comand you for me?

Speaker 7 (01:21:07):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (01:21:09):
That that will well for the for the viewer. There'll
be probably a lot of new content that will be
more cost effective to produce, and I don't know how
far could go as far as if we'll see this

(01:21:29):
in theaters where there's a you know AI with the
show it was. They tried it with an Argentina show
where there was a building that collapsed and they used.

Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
But isn't AI just CG right computer generated?

Speaker 9 (01:21:45):
But you don't have to draw all that CGI. You
gotta draw everything and put it in a certain place.
That's still animation. But with AI, you just type in
a building collapsing and then the AI will generate that.

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
And no, somebody, somebody already input that a building collapse
and the AI is just finding that. It's not generating anything,
it's finding the data.

Speaker 9 (01:22:15):
Well yeah, but it can come from different sources. But
there is nothing being produce yet. So if I'm shooting, like,
I'm not an animator, but I can just type in
building collapsing and then put that in the movie.

Speaker 6 (01:22:33):
And the computer will go through several different versions of
what buildings look like. Okay, I like this building, now
do you want it to collapse with an explosion?

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
Do you want it?

Speaker 6 (01:22:44):
And you just type all of that in and it'll
make that. There's no finding a location, there's no building
a set. There's no casting an actor, there's no.

Speaker 3 (01:22:53):
Get that part. I was trying to find the difference
between CGI and a CGI is supposed to enhance the production,
not completed.

Speaker 9 (01:23:04):
Not Actually there can be there can be specifics there
with the c g I and that's that can and
that can come from scratch or there's someone like drawing
or putting that into a computer. The AI is taking
whatever's already out, whatever already exists.

Speaker 3 (01:23:21):
Now, why do we want this? Studios can save money? Uh,
speaking of for the for the consumer, there's no right,
That's what I'm saying. There's no real benefit. And seeing
that like fat and that makes me believe and non
alcoholic the beer.

Speaker 8 (01:23:39):
I was just I was just told by someone this
weekend and even that there are some ministers that are
using AI to write their sermons.

Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
So if the movie people and the chat GPT, ain't
it the right song? And others they're they're yeah, they're
those YEA. A lot of people are yeah, they're using
that too. I know someone that's just relying. That's plagiarism. Now,
this is the thing.

Speaker 6 (01:24:07):
There used to be a time when doing that would
get whatever submission you made eliminated. And you could possibly
face some sort of penalty, some fine or damages.

Speaker 3 (01:24:21):
But now we're blurring the lines between all of that.
All of that stuff is now like is this legal?
Is it not legal?

Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
You've taken words comprised of seven Purelitzer Prize winning speeches
and made your presentation for your graduation class, and that's plagiarism.
You didn't come up with them words, you didn't put
them in that order.

Speaker 14 (01:24:54):
All the discussions over who could see us soldier basements.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
So let's do a brings she love you, I'm blessed.

Speaker 3 (01:25:02):
Love Don't go away?

Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
Or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandrius coming
up next.

Speaker 11 (01:25:10):
And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
life insurance.

Speaker 28 (01:25:21):
When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
What about you?

Speaker 2 (01:25:28):
Will you be leaving benefits or bills?

Speaker 28 (01:25:31):
When I was forty, with a kid in college and
bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
survived without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
the insurance informant.

Speaker 11 (01:25:38):
Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family
security no matter what stage of life you're in.

Speaker 28 (01:25:43):
Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
leave my family with bills or benefits.

Speaker 11 (01:25:47):
The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
need is the insurance informant to help you build a
foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
two options or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
Log on today benefits or bills?

Speaker 3 (01:26:05):
Dot com?

Speaker 2 (01:26:06):
That's benefits or bills dot com.

Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
Hurting the game.

Speaker 18 (01:26:11):
We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
and we need to talk to someone about what we're
really going through. So we're going to reach out because
sometimes mental health is not a one person job.

Speaker 15 (01:26:33):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love your Mind
today dot org.

Speaker 18 (01:26:37):
Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and
the Head Counsel.

Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
And now back to the Sports Job Wayne Gandy Player's lounge.

Speaker 25 (01:26:51):
I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 3 (01:27:19):
Welcome back to the Swat Shock Show. I'm the swat
Shock Wayne Gandy. Earlier we were talking about the w
NBA All Star Game. Also we were talking about Shannon Shark.
Will he be able to get his day job back
to night? Will he be able to after his settlement
on some rape allegations he settled, will he be able

(01:27:43):
to get back into the mainstream day media Matchie Greg
Bad producer, feel like he will be big Kenny, I
think was kind of like me where we felt that
he daytime not be able to after selling case. ESPN,
one of Shannon's employers up until this case happened, also

(01:28:09):
had an incident with the w NBA game where doing
halftime doing the halftime report.

Speaker 15 (01:28:16):
This was said as it gets a little bit more
competitive because like a girl trip to Cancun right now,
there's no daed two point game or even call her.

Speaker 1 (01:28:25):
That's the wall places how.

Speaker 3 (01:28:26):
You're in time out there done. That's l Duncan who
leaves the pre and posts and halftime report for ESPN
doing a lot of the ESPN WNBA games, saying that
the first half of the WNBA game was kind of
like a girl's trip to Cancun. There is no D.

(01:28:56):
Why isn't there outrage today and mercy? Where is the outrage?
Commands to Greg? Where is it bad producer? Why do
we seem to live in a society that totally the
people who swear their shoulders up on fairness go missing

(01:29:20):
when it's them or their people. It's I'm looking for
fairness from who I have deemed to be unfair, from
some man who might say, let's grab him in something,
then we need to stone him. But the first half

(01:29:44):
of this game was like a girl's trip to Can
Kung because there was.

Speaker 6 (01:29:51):
No D, discipline, direction, dedication, Yes, all those different plan.

Speaker 3 (01:30:03):
Tally Whacker, Peter Paul command you. Why didn't we wake
up to day with some some kind of just watch
the game so we didn't get you? Nobody was really
watching the CEO at the cold Play concert show, one
who knew cold Play was on tour? Raise your hand

(01:30:29):
if you knew cold Play. I thought Chris Martin was
over there with the CODA Johnson Uh at the Jeff
Bezos wedding. Now, I didn't even know that he know,
would uh galtro no more, I don't know. I just
thought I didn't know cold Play was on a tour,
did you? I thought he was, because that's what I'm saying,

(01:30:50):
we'd have got tickets.

Speaker 23 (01:30:51):
That we know.

Speaker 3 (01:30:51):
Nas. Let's be honest. I liked me a little cold Play.

Speaker 15 (01:30:54):
I do.

Speaker 26 (01:30:55):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
I'm okay with it. Yes I did. They got two
or three songs I put on peak. Yes, they do.
So nobody was there comand you nobody was the man
having a little moment now and made it out to
be a whole porn if you let the media man,
Oh we all those people could have been was two
good coworkers who had a little something too much to

(01:31:18):
drink and was getting a little touch of feeling. Damn yeah,
is it right?

Speaker 5 (01:31:24):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:31:24):
But have people who been You know, y'all need to
stop looking at each other eyes now, y'all know y'all
need to go home to your husband and wife out
that big kenny. You know they're standing by Serena. I'm
on nine two hours, but look she's standing next to
me too.

Speaker 6 (01:31:41):
We ain't forcing a stand on home, man, give me
a couple more minutes about they about to play our
song in a minute.

Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
That's what I'm saying. We waited saying that that that
and these people's privacy and that man has had to
has been let go. All kinds of things about these
people who just we don't know anything other than they
were at a concert and we splattered them. El Duncan
makes this statement. And we've seen different people and I'm

(01:32:14):
not just saying males. We've seen people at ESPN and
other networks just stand up for their political view. Yeah,
I'm with the army. I'm down with the army. Hold on,
that means you against No, I'm just saying against. My
whole family was in the military, so I'm with the all.

Speaker 6 (01:32:34):
But see they against people's rights and they they won't
let you be how you and so now you got
to be canceled.

Speaker 3 (01:32:40):
Samantha Ponder says she wasn't with the whole transgender participation
in the pool eighty second floor that they need to
see you hate y'all. But she can't just be on
the TV saying just can't be on the TV with

(01:33:03):
this woman said, and you and you know hold on
and the two most quiet people right here these guys
right here, I'm looking for some like a girl's vacation
and can't com no D no D just pros Now,
what if she had said that, now Gloiala said that
in a rap song, he'll be in there like, oh boy,

(01:33:25):
is you here glowing that flow? Joe Wold, Joe, y'all
ain't here that new Glowiala did, Joe. That's how he
would have been there, presented like up and I would
have been here like man, play that new glow. She's
going like that.

Speaker 6 (01:33:40):
And I'm sure if Diddy had said it, it would
have been used as evidence in his case to his
sex trafficking and making people do things just.

Speaker 3 (01:33:50):
What I'm saying. The thing where the Halloween costume with
the baby oil no no, what they got one come
out called the Dittler.

Speaker 9 (01:34:00):
Yeah, because you know he was after I saw the people.

Speaker 3 (01:34:09):
By oil. It's called the Diddler, not the Riddler. I
didn't Yeah, I didn't have the name for it.

Speaker 6 (01:34:14):
But that sounded like that sounded like a ninety seven halloweendler.

Speaker 7 (01:34:20):
You know.

Speaker 6 (01:34:21):
Now, ain't this supposed to be a bad person? Yes,
we out here making money on him and people will
buy the costumes and not get prosecuted.

Speaker 3 (01:34:32):
So to you too, you seem not to you seem
to be okay with the statement. And I guess that's
why nobody is saying nothing. You're cool with her, Well.

Speaker 8 (01:34:41):
I mean it's it's not el first time though El
has had like she's called people narks on the show.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
She did had several jokes, uh when she was the
lead person.

Speaker 8 (01:34:52):
And now she has the show with the other two
young ladies that they're k and and and they're not
the ratings are not good and right, yeah, and the
ratings are not good, and they're having a hard you
for high school, and then she went to Tennessee they
have a hard time.

Speaker 6 (01:35:09):
And all of those things that you are using in
support of what she said is why nobody is saying anything.
It's the same reason we're saying it's unfair. It's because
when Shannon tried to say something like that, or when uh,
a Paul Pierce or a Michael Irvin try and say,
oh man, we was just being salacious for the crowd.

(01:35:31):
You can't demean women, you can't sexualize women, you can't objectify,
you can't make them, you can't bring up women genital
they do national right, it's a problem.

Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
And this was a nationally televised Yeah, and that's what
I'm saying. But that's what I saying.

Speaker 8 (01:35:46):
And they have a nationally televised show that right now
that they're really pushing because of this moment of these
three African American ladies, the first ever showed ESPN for
them to have that, And like I said, the ratings
are not good.

Speaker 3 (01:35:59):
There's a lot of people do not watch it, so
why not hold her to a higher standard.

Speaker 8 (01:36:03):
They're not going to because it's it's because the agenda
or whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:36:08):
It's blash women.

Speaker 6 (01:36:11):
And if somebody said something, not only are they sexist,
but now they racist. And that's the only reason nobody
will say anything. It is because they gonna go straight
to y'all not protecting us.

Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
And all I did was I mirrored it and I
had the same statement saying, because it's it's a it's
a unisex statement. The some male group could have thought
they were being funny and said, you know, well, we
come back with the second half of the game. His
first half has been like a girl's trip to Cancun.

(01:36:46):
No ded what happens?

Speaker 6 (01:36:50):
Oh, he not coming back from the break he been.
They didn't went into his ear piece on some Look,
you're not covering the second half and the other people
know don't know apologic Kenny.

Speaker 8 (01:37:01):
No Here come in and says, hey, you doing this
to Wayne Gandy. I want to apologize for what I said.
I just want people to know I didn't any but
I want to interviews are not the views of the.

Speaker 6 (01:37:14):
Next and Twitter and uh the network support because wisdom
are demeaning. We don't support that. What he said, I
agree with you supports John keep saying.

Speaker 3 (01:37:24):
That Wisconsin raising Kings. You've been to raising Kings? Yeah?
Raising Ever been there? Yeah? Lady got assaulted for taking
too long in the bathroom. When she came out, lady
said she had taken too long. She had knocked a
couple of times and the lady didn't come out fast enough.

(01:37:46):
And she came out, she put them paws on her.
I bring this to you three because like I always do.
What's going on in the past restaurants? Man, I don't know.
I don't know. I thought it was. I don't know.
Is the price of the combos, I don't know. All
the prices have gone up. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:38:07):
I'm using the bathroom, sir, and I don't know what
it looked like in the fast food restaurant women's bathroom
in the bathroom fast enough.

Speaker 3 (01:38:14):
Well, I'm saying, have you ever had the brisket whopper?
You know what it does to you? How long do
you think I'm supposed to be in here? This is
a medical emergency. Now, some the frosted brisket I don't
I don't know from Costcos slapped up on top of
a whopper. Yeah, I don't. Now this is the other

(01:38:37):
part about it. I don't know what some holopeno cheese sauce.
I don't know that a do to you in the bathroom.
And how many stalls do they have in a women's
fast food that person had to go to? Right? So,
so call your mama before we'll go to break. Call
your mama and tell how this happened. What you down here?
That dude the Wisconsin police station. Go ahead on the

(01:38:59):

Can't mention tell her what happened, greg her read your mom.
It's say your name on nothing the caller gentification box. Yeah,
I need you to call grandma and go down to

(01:39:20):
the bell bondsman the bell, Lord Jesus, she doesn't. She
doesn't scald somebody. No, just tell her that, you know,
I need a help, Lord, and she need to catch
her insurance policies. The most tried to rob you. You
had to defend yourself. Baby, No, this this this chick

(01:39:43):
what talking about? She felt sick and gonna be in
the bathroom and she threw up on you. Nah, she
took about eight minutes in there throwing up on you.
I don't know what she was doing there, but I
put them hands on them when she came. You wasn't
in the bathroom with her, no stand at dope knocking.
I had to go, wait, baby, you jumped on somebody

(01:40:04):
cut They was in the bathroom when you put it
like that, Mama, if you would like to make a call,
do his own, please hang up. That's how exactly you
can't explain that to mama. Can you know he'll be
back to Sports Jock Show, man genius.

Speaker 14 (01:40:28):
I don't know what's jealous is because I ain't never
feeling felling like myself again, fell like the man.

Speaker 3 (01:40:34):
I got some stories I could tell my.

Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
Don't go awayne or of the Sports Jock Show with
Wayne Dandidius coming up next.

you can do a teenager.

And now back to the sports job, Wayne Candy its Wagan.

Speaker 1 (01:42:40):
Locked on. Say you can see a sports jaint, I'll
sing even can look back to the sports shop.

Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
Tell I'm the sports shop Wayne Candy. Early in the show, guys,
I was just messing with you about, uh, your team's
winning the Super Bowl. I'm never one of those people
who can would tell you to pick a Super Bowl
winner today because we are talking about athletics, and we're
talking about physical athletics, which means that a lot of

(01:43:12):
making it to the Super Bowl is about health. Are
your top players enough of your top players available when
that happens. But you can have a little more prediction
about whether you feel your team can make the playoffs.
So I will start there on a serious note, Big Kenny,

(01:43:34):
you think the Jets, from what you know about them,
can make the playoffs?

Speaker 4 (01:43:38):
Yes, I do, bad producer. Do you think your Atlanta
Falcons can make the playoffs?

Speaker 3 (01:43:45):
Yes? As I stated earlier in the NFC South, we
just make the playoffs. We're in the game. Command You
greg tough the vision. Out of the teams that are
sitting here, you're in the toughest the vision this coming season.
When you're talking about Jayan Daniels and the Washington team,
you're talking about the Super Bowl champs who seem to

(01:44:09):
keep enough of their talent on their team. Jalen hurts,
So what do you think about your chances there?

Speaker 7 (01:44:18):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:44:20):
I think it will be tough, but it can be done.

Speaker 18 (01:44:22):
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:44:24):
All right, yeah, I think there's a I think there's
a wild card uh in the Cowboys this year. I
think the Falcons definitely with the with the quarterback issues
their their biggest team is going to be Tampa, which
was the same thing last year. Tampa New Orleans doesn't

(01:44:44):
even really know what they're doing at quarterback. The Panthers
still as a full team is not talented enough. So
you look at the Falcons and the Bucks and where
that goes.

Speaker 15 (01:44:57):
So h.

Speaker 3 (01:45:01):
Yes, you can win the Vision, Big Kenny. And I
mean it's just so many you come off of the
Aaron Rodgers and a whole another new coach and now
you got Aaron Glen. There you got Justin Fields. I
still see feels as a kid that is a backup. Really,

(01:45:23):
I believe that's just what he is for this point
in his career. I think he he can be a
career back up. He could take those the same strides
that of Jameis Winston. He's young enough to one day
maybe find himself to be Geno Smith. But I just
still haven't seen starter and enough range in his game

(01:45:47):
to get him to the playoffs, you know. And I'm
as a way or did even be like a consistent starter? Well,
I'm hoping that this being is this his fifth year? Yes,
and him and his fourteen is it thirteen? I'm hoping
that clicks with him, like, man, I need to pull
my stuff together, but I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:46:08):
Gonna be out of here. And when Darrel Brown Senior
said the Stealers won't make it, and Uncle Charlie said, d.

Speaker 3 (01:46:15):
Troy Detroit still got they still got the weaponry, but
you need the Stellers. I'll be doing what a podcast
called locked On this year for the Stellers twice a week.
In a couple of weeks we started. It's called locked On.
It's just an hour. We'll do a post stealer game
show and it's all Stealer stuff. And I've been researching

(01:46:40):
them looking at it, and it really does. Some of
their key parts are old, like Aaron Rodgers, like a
Cam Hayward. Good to get TJ back in, but it
is just hard when you start talking about forty year
old quarterbacks. And that would be the first thing I

(01:47:01):
would tell you because now the most important person on
the team is whoever is the backup? Because long seventeen
game season, forty two, forty three, just coming off Achilles,
a lot to ask in a very physical defensive division,

(01:47:21):
no matter where they get at you House Garrett and
that Baltimore defense. Yeah, that's what the part, That's what
I was wondering, would like to get sacked? Please raise
your hand anybody.

Speaker 6 (01:47:34):
Well, I was wondering he might slap you into hell. Man,
He'll take your helmet off and punch you a couple
of times. That's one that you never know what you're
gonna get with Miles.

Speaker 3 (01:47:41):
That's what I'm saying. Who would like to get sacked
right now?

Speaker 8 (01:47:44):
What I mean Philadelphia basically has when you said the East,
that East is a tough division. Defense, they focused on
defense like that North AFC North, it's defense, and a
lot of the teams in the NFC I'm in the
NFS on the NFL seaside has realized, Hey, went back
to the defense. That's why I am happy with the

(01:48:05):
Falcons because this is the first time in a long
time they focus on defense during the draft and during
the off season more than the offense. So, yes, that
that NF AFC Nord to me, and another the AFC
West out there, those to me are the toughest divisions
because they focused on the defense for their team. So

(01:48:29):
you're AFC West out there, the Chargers, the Raiders and Chiefs, And.

Speaker 3 (01:48:38):
You're trying to say, because I saw you look and
you just doubled back. Because when I said that you
had this big front, I should have just stopped right
there because I knew he was gonna come back to this.
You're trying to say it's tougher than the Eagles, Commanders
and Cowboys.

Speaker 8 (01:48:59):
Talk about that that AFC, that AFC side, I'm saying
the North and the whole Alec.

Speaker 3 (01:49:03):
Yeah, it's the a f C East to me, I
mean the a f C. The NFC East hasn't been
that that strong.

Speaker 8 (01:49:12):
I mean it's Philadelphia's been dominating. The Giants haven't been
been relevant, the Cowboys haven't been really that relevant. And
then the Resk I mean, excuse me, the Commanders haven't
been I mean there in the next year, I mean
in the last two years there, but they haven't been

(01:49:32):
that East hadn't been that strong.

Speaker 3 (01:49:33):
The NFC breaking news really quick.

Speaker 6 (01:49:38):
One of our loyal listeners had to send to our
personal phone numbers. Uh that the w NBA players demanded
to be paid what they were worth and now they
owe the NBA four hundred million dollars.

Speaker 10 (01:50:02):
Even for the Genia Benzoso, me and my migos got
their free smoke on the West Coachy.

Speaker 3 (01:50:07):
I'm talking about pre Rolls, dark hair. She really likes
she go she do, films, don't go away.

Speaker 4 (01:50:14):
Word of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandius coming
up next, and.

Speaker 11 (01:50:20):
Now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters
of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of
financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.

Speaker 28 (01:50:31):
When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.

Speaker 3 (01:50:37):
What about you?

Speaker 2 (01:50:38):
Will you be leaving benefits or bills?

Speaker 28 (01:50:40):
When I was forty, with a kid in college and
bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
survived without me. That's what I'm inde an appointment with
the insurance informant.

Speaker 11 (01:50:47):
Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
security no matter what stage of life you're in.

Speaker 28 (01:50:53):
Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
leave my family with bills their benefits.

Speaker 11 (01:50:57):
The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifth,
whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
need is the insurance informat to help you build a
foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
or bills dot com?

Speaker 3 (01:51:21):
And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 25 (01:51:27):
It's time put a school board when we put a
spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on
the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.

Speaker 17 (01:51:40):
You know, it was about three o'clock when I looked
at the time, and I had about two more hours
ago before I got to your love and a time
just kept particularly slower and slower. When I got to
the front door, I thought about opening the door with

(01:52:04):
my keys and seeing your lovely face right in front
of me.

Speaker 3 (01:52:16):
Welcome back to this spot Shock show. I'm the sport
Shock Wayne kan d. I know we were talking about
the divisions. They're baptus, and I guess what caught me
by surprise was that the AFC West for I mean
this year, I haven't looked to see how strong. I
know last year and the year before that, you're talking
about a division where other than the Chiefs teams were

(01:52:41):
not even making the playoffs. Denver and the Raiders were
not even winning games. So I mean, right now, with
what's the name bo Nicks, they put it, they put
a game of playing last year together. Yeah, you got
the Chargers and the defense and urge and brought has
made the playoffs. Last year.

Speaker 9 (01:53:01):
But yeah, that's that's been a division dominated by the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (01:53:04):
Yeah, but it is.

Speaker 8 (01:53:05):
What I'm just saying that the AFC West is a
tough division. I was just been tough the last and
it's getting tougher and now it.

Speaker 3 (01:53:13):
Hasn't been tough in the last You keep trying to
go to the in the last part. That's the part
I'm trying to start. That'st a couple of years now.
I mean, come on, let's give him a little credit there.
I think we can. I mean, the Raiders has been
the week Link. Yeah, but I think they're gonna be
in the week Link too. They was winning two three games.
They fired a coach because he by Thanksgiving. But that

(01:53:35):
was like maybe a season or two that that they
had that bad hiccup there, What are you talking about?
When were they winning? Peyton went there one and did
make the playoffs. Then they make a playoffs until last year.
It's like ten years. It was two thousand and eight,
when the eighteen when Peyton or was it two thousand
and seven? Times you have a hard time, no, no,

(01:54:00):
if you have a hard time accepting hard evidence, sir,
was coming out of Memphis, Old Miss freshman Corey Adams
part of one dead four shot over in the Memphis area.
I think it said Cordova something like that Tennessee, which

(01:54:21):
put you in the Memphis area. So the Old Miss
family already starting the season off with a tough component,
with the coaches and staff trying to piece together that
as camp start to open, and guys, just you know,
I don't know whoever's listening. You got young nephews or

(01:54:43):
sons or grandsons out there, especially now with this nil.
And I'm not saying that Corey was the target. I
do know that a lot of us like to go
back to our hometowns when we're in college, and and
sometimes you forget the rules of the area. Sometimes you

(01:55:04):
forget that you're walking back into conflicts that even though
you left, those conflicts are still going on. And you're
trying to act like your best friend or your brother
or your cousin who you love and hang out with
is still not the guy you left. So the best
thing for a lot of you, first and foremost is

(01:55:26):
to be very aware of where and when and how
you're going out. The second, be honest with yourself of
who you are with, because most likely in this scenario.
The people you were with were usually the targets, and
they are responsible just like you are to let you
know what's going on. I'm not sure why come at you.

(01:55:49):
Greg is here, but I left forgot that him and
Big Kenny had beef and Big Kenny sitting here acting
like the beef was settled, and next thing you know,
we're shot at or Each and every year we have
had at least one of these kind of incidents, incidents
where there was a young player from some level of

(01:56:10):
college that had went home and it was a drive by?

Speaker 6 (01:56:13):
Has it not been that way about a lot of times?
The people that's stealing that stuff have that mentality.

Speaker 3 (01:56:19):
You know what it is. It's still the crib. You
know what I'm saying. What you mean to the game?

Speaker 6 (01:56:25):
What you mean you got you and your third year
got an nil fin to go to the league. Bro,
you know what it is on the south side.

Speaker 3 (01:56:32):
So when you come to the south side, south side,
on south side every single time, and here in Atlanta,
sadly Bowden High school player player over at Carrollton, Kamari
Farmer who has a scholarship offerer to Liberty SMU. I
don't want to say maybe Memphis as well. He is

(01:56:54):
part of him and the kid from Bowden and another
young man, all of them eighteen seventeen and fifty team.
They have been arrested and charged with murder of a
forty eight. More details are coming out. This just happened
here like Saturday, but I do know I call out
of Carrollton Games. Carrollton Juju Lewis who's now at Colorado

(01:57:17):
with Dion Sanders. He had been the quarterback for the
last three years. Kamari Farmer, very talented running back. Puts
you in the mind of a Ward Don type that
has one of those guys that end up getting drafted
three four years from now in the third round. Yet

(01:57:37):
that kind of talent where you didn't really don't jump
off the page yet, but just consistently be effective, right,
you know. He had one of those kind of games.
Seemed like every time you give him the ball, it's
eight yards. So sadly those three young men have been
arrested and charged with this murder. Where it from the

(01:58:01):
stories we tell sounds like maybe and for some reason
here in Atlanta, we have a lot of this kind
of like almost like robbery, like one or two players
are meeting a guy for something, either they're buying or
they're selling, and then somebody ends up shot. We've had
a couple of those here and you know, I don't
know whether it's drugs or you're selling.

Speaker 8 (01:58:23):
The phones, trying to make a play, as they say,
they trying to make a play on us, and it
just don't turn out right.

Speaker 3 (01:58:30):
And it's been mostly that the person, the single person
got shot and kids and the kids. I know some
basketball players at Milton, and it couldn't have been about
two years ago, the same kind of situation. We've got
to a fight and someone got shot and so, and

(01:58:51):
this is something that's happened.

Speaker 8 (01:58:53):
There's been a lot of players al I mean that
was at Norcross right before his senior year when he
before we went to college, had the incident with a
BB gun and was unfortunate enough.

Speaker 3 (01:59:04):
He was clear.

Speaker 8 (01:59:05):
So you hope that this young man, with this type
of talent he has, that once the story breaks, he
will be able to.

Speaker 3 (01:59:12):
Man a story of Pat Tillman's brother. We will wait
and let this air out. Seems like he might have
intentionally drove his car into a post office hot in
San Jose, so I don't I know Pat Tillman, the

(01:59:32):
safety who died while serving Yes played for the car
Arizona Cardinals, has a statue outside of the stadium. He
wouldn't have been no more than about maybe thirty two
and when he enlisted, and that was the big thing.
To actually lead an NFL to enlist in this modern

(01:59:53):
age is not something that we had been used to.
We got a lot of stories in the forties fifty six,
these those ages where athletes would do that, But in
modern times that's not something that you hear a lot about.
And he lost his life, but it sounds like his
brother and the report said sheriff was reporting intentionally drove

(02:00:16):
into the post office. Oh I don't know if all
these years he just still can't handle. I mean, I
don't mean to be funny, but I can almost let
him know. Ain't nobody in the post office?

Speaker 6 (02:00:31):
They and they said the replice the police showed up
responding to him, I meaning fire, I had.

Speaker 3 (02:00:39):
And one in the back.

Speaker 6 (02:00:40):
And it's real dark. Have you noticed that that's at
the large distribution. It's just boxes, just boxes, and say
be back in two hours and we are in the ocean.

Speaker 3 (02:00:55):
The truth is he will throw your in.

Speaker 25 (02:00:58):
The ocean, it's time to think on the Sports Judge Show.

Speaker 3 (02:01:03):
With Wayne Kenny. When you're the time to the ocean

(02:01:26):
to give to sports show testamented to Vin. We'd like

Amazon Podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, or Spotify and catch the

bad producer, thank you for your participation to a day

(02:01:49):
going in the ocean. And some of you may be fans,
some of you may have actually went out and engaged
in this. But I'm throwing James Gunn, the writer and
the rector of Superman the new supermandeve. I'm talking about

(02:02:11):
down there where some of them old World War Two ships.
They won't go get them because they're so deep where
the trench is so cold down there and dark the trend.
Can't you see lights on the way down there where
the submarine get crushed by the pressure. Superman, terrible move.

(02:02:33):
Twenty minutes into it, I started contemplating all them tickets. Botty. Yeah,
already already.

Speaker 6 (02:02:42):
Man, already paid for the popcorn and the cold but
James Gunn.

Speaker 3 (02:02:48):
You did it no justice? Where did mister terrific come from? Nowhere?
And why did y'all go get a old Nathan Felon
to play the greenlandic the Greenland five years old? Why
was was that awesome? I was hawk girl only yelling?
Why where did the dinosaur come from? When Superman? When

(02:03:11):
did the Superman start fighting dinosaurs on Earth?

Speaker 12 (02:03:14):
When?

Speaker 3 (02:03:14):
When? What's going on but throwing down there deep up.
We hope you have a good afternoon from the Wars
Shock Show. Please too much cursing, too Imagine me saying

(02:03:38):
