Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you
out there listening. Land glad to be here with you.
Jay E t Chee chet Chet. How about them Cowboys?
(01:04):
I own you? I mean, he says nothing. I set
him up. You still are a Cowboy fan, don't you
command you? Great? Currently? Yes, Currently, what's with these people
who I don't get this thing? Hit a couple of
them up and they're telling me they're not Cowboy fans
this season? But you in contract negotiations with another team.
Michael Parsons. He said, currently he holding out watching the
(01:28):
games till they come to a new agreement.
Speaker 6 (01:31):
Yeah, a lot of people like to feel like it's
a year to year thing.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
If you're a cowboy, you gotta always be a cowboy. Correct.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Well, at some people jump ship this offseason, So now,
why did you jump ship?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
I did not? Okay, why did they jump ship?
Speaker 6 (01:51):
They were just I think it was partly public shame
and whatever. They didn't like how Jerry was handling the
Michael Parsons situation.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Now, what do they think that Jerry should have done.
Speaker 6 (02:08):
That?
Speaker 4 (02:09):
He should have just paid Michael Parsons. Why why should
I just have paid Michael Parsons? What part of the equation?
Now't they have a thing out on Netflix where Jerry
buys the team and after the first year he trades
Hershel Walker. He was able to take those trades, as
(02:30):
we famously know, and get a lot of draft picks
that eventually ended up being three Super Bowls. So why
have we already boxed this Michael Parson trade up to
be a failure And people thought the same thing about
trading Hershel Walker.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
I think that the timing of it is, you know,
a player of Michael Parson's talent, you don't let that go?
Why not trade that, well, every every team needs pass rushers,
but I need multiple guys.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
If I'm looking, I'm just because I hear people, and
it's like, I'm not saying that those people, or you,
or whoever feels that way is wrong. I'm saying, but
there is another side to it that I talk about, Like,
if you don't think you got the team, why are
you paying this person? I definitely know I talk about
(03:31):
it in the NBA. Why would you go pay some
guy to stay on your team when you ain't got
the team? Why would the Suns They'll go pay Devin
Booker two hundred and fifty million dollars just to continue
to be seventh in the West.
Speaker 6 (03:51):
But I think with what I'm seeing a little bit
of the difference between with the NBA is that kind
of the rule of kind of incentivize players to stay
with their teams. The NFL doesn't have that same kind
of structure with as far as contracts go. But players
of Michael Parsons talent don't often hit the free agent
(04:14):
market in that way. They would normally stay with with
the team. So a trade being made like this, I
think just because it just happened, a couple of weeks
ago that it doesn't it seems like a mistake by
the Cowboys because of what they got for it, or
that if Parsons is one of the best pass rushers
(04:38):
in the league, you don't let you don't trade that guy.
You pay that guy to keep him on your team.
I understand what you're saying. As far as they're not
a Super Bowl contender, they don't look that way. So
I just keep paying you high numbers to be you
feel like if you're another player away, but you're taking
up the money for another player. I got a question,
(04:58):
and this.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Is that's the juggling, and this is just this is
the Dallas Cowboys for dummies question.
Speaker 7 (05:07):
Just whatn't Michael Parsons like in the last year of
his contract? So he his rookie contract, right, No, So
so I'm saying just kind of like the.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Contract, yes or no, he was still in the contract.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
But Austin as you as you will see with guys
who are undir rookie contract going into the fourth year
of that five year deal, that's when the uh contract
extensions come in and normally the fifth year, if there
is no contract agreed to, then that player may hold
(05:45):
that's where the holdouts come in, right, I understand those,
and I know some teams immediately cave to that kind
of pressure.
Speaker 7 (05:54):
They immediately go, let's make the deal. And then some
teams don't negotiate with terrorists. Well, and you know, I'm
not calling like parsons of terrorists. I'm just saying some
people have said that I have in my contract given
you as much as I am agreeing to give you
in this span of time. We still got a year
(06:15):
left on that, and you want a brand new deal.
Now you get this brand new deal and it's guaranteed,
and then you game number one.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Tearing Achilles. You see what I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (06:28):
So I really don't and even to what sports Jock's saying,
I can't pay for the ten person airbnb when only
three of us say we're showing up so that we're
rating resources at this point. So I think a lot
of people get offended and they getting their emotional feelings
(06:51):
when Jerry Jones talks about it like it doesn't matter
to him and he's the owner, when it matters so
much more to the fans. They seem like, you should
know this, and why wouldn't you do that? And he's
just kind of like, well, you know sometimes and sometime
we move along.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
And if you add up to three, think, guys, I
think they've signed. Since it equated to what Michael Pardons
would have got on one deal, well, there was a
there was. It was the handshake deal reportedly that was
in place, but because the agent wasn't involved, Michael Parson said, well,
(07:28):
you know, talk with my agent. But then the deal
that was the handshake deal stayed the same. And I
don't know if you now, now what do you what
do the two of you think of that?
Speaker 7 (07:39):
The general way that it's done is the agent speaks
through their athlete to the organization and vice versa. Uh,
the Cowboys don't believe in that you work for us.
We want to talk to you. Well, I want you
to talk to my agent. Do you believe that that's necessary.
That's how it was done this time. When with Dak
(08:01):
Prescott's contract, he still he from the beginning it was
talked to my agent. I think the mistake that was
made here with Michael Parsons, which which led to him
being traded, is that he talked to Jerry directly without
his agent, and then the deal was made there and
that's what Jerry stood by. And when Parsons tried to
(08:24):
go back and like, well, I want you to talk
to my agent. If they tried to get more money
or a different structure, then that's where negotiates.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
And I'm just I'm a former player. I'm on the
player side, but I do understand that if I had
to go own the team and be a businessman a GM,
that these cases come up. Sometimes it's your team, sometimes
it's another team. And I know one of the keys
(08:52):
for me is to look to see if me locking
this guy up for one hundred million dollars, it's what's
going to put us over or I'm just gonna be
paying one hundred million dollars for a guy for the
next four years that he's gonna be the only guy
we have. And that's what ends up with a lot
of people. And I think a lot of teams makes
(09:14):
that mistake. Uh. And that's why I say sometimes it's
easier to show in basketball or in baseball, because you'll
go give what's the kid for the San Diego team
the baseball team to tease, Uh yeah, right, and I
lock you in And now I gotta wait and hope
(09:37):
that everything you. You know you still be the famous star.
I think you're gonna be without a chip.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
That's that's sentimentality. You you you're hoping something works out
and general and see that's the difference. People who are,
in my opinion, captains of business don't take emotions into
the negotiating room or other people find it hard to
separate themselves from that emotion.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
And sometimes teams wait too long to trade that piece
that could have benefited them. They had a piece that
could have got them four other pieces which they needed
more than the one piece. People were here in Atlanta
with Grady Jarrett, oh Man what they got. Well, I'm
not telling you they shouldn't have in a perfect world,
(10:29):
but I can see how they're saying, Man, we have
five places, we need some people, and you're eating up
the ability to hire three of them. Yeah, so we
which way do we want to go? That's math, and
that's just some people find themselves in that predicament. And
(10:49):
it's one of those things. As Michael Parson, you needed
some of those other guys to be playing at a
high level to wear the team like, oh, I'm gonna
keeping this whole defense intact.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
Yeah, I need this I need this same squad to
run a bike, so we got to run this bike.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
But great weekend of sports. I am tired. I mean
we started with the Cowboys and spitting hey hey, we
went in hey sir, We went to Brazil and got
a little booty shakes halftimes. That's that's not I had
a two hour rain delay from my high school game.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
I didn't get home to like two am. Game was
supposed to start at seven thirty, it didn't kick off
to nine forty.
Speaker 7 (11:29):
Five, had booty shaking a halftime in Brazil call called
pre schools.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
That's pre k. That's pre k in Brazil. And then
yesterday we got some exciting games, the revival of Aaron
Rodgers against the Jets. At least four a week, and
then maybe you have to put it in your pocket.
But the game last night Bills Ravens could end up
(11:54):
being the best game of the year, of the about
eight ten, twelve weeks. And you see other games. Don't
forget like, oh that was because it happened so early.
And I was about to say, NFL, I hope you
didn't just serve all the best stuff. First, you came
out with the strip and the Stone with all the
meat up first. Here we are week number fourteen, and
(12:18):
you and some man and chips, y'all ain't got no dip,
no nothing left. We'll be back with the sports Shot
show right after this letter.

Most people out here think that taking care of one
another is important, and most people would step up for
a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
here help out friends and family when they need it.
But the funny thing is most of us won't look
for help when we need it. Talk to someone if

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Slum dug up. I'm just thinks you want to welcome
back to this boy, Shock Shoper. I'm this swoy Shock
Wayne Canny. Good morning to you, command you Greg mc
kenny the studio on the first Monday of NFL season,
(16:19):
which makes so many storylines. We're gonna get into that.
But as I said, we had a long weekend. A
lot of things happen Thursday, Friday, Saturday, this Phillies woman
and I said that way because I get offended myself
that somewhere in Gregg's woke culture people decided that it's okay.
(16:47):
And I know easily about ten different groups. If I
started plugging in something to represent who they are, would
be protesting. You keep calling this one group Karen's, but
(17:10):
if I turned that name into some Kunta oo Topin
ooh and some Shequito Kizzies and all other names, people
be mad. Somewhere you keep thinking you can label, and
(17:31):
you have decided that if someone of Caucasian female acts
a certain way. I can call them that. But if
the teacher at your school tell you to come get
Tyrone and your son named Jamaal, you swinging on them,
(17:52):
am I line. I'm just just tell me if I'm wrong.
Now you call your wife, Hey, you need to come
down here and get Tyrone day day. And you know
your son named Gregory Junior. I know she didn't. And
then you do it to the office and she said again,
(18:13):
So now you have realized she ain't make no mistake.
Now he's in here acting like day day. So when
this being a day day, and when you look at
the film, the lady could have had compassion for the boy.
The boy did not go get the ball. This incident
(18:33):
happened down the Phillies were playing the Marlins and Miammy.
The ball was hitting to the stands into one area.
The kid's dad came down to the area in which
the ball was going into the lady the ball fell
right in front of her in the bleachers. He came
(18:56):
about ten twelve seats down, the dad the boy. So
when they write these stories, and this is part of
what's going what's wrong for me in our country? We
moved the words around to try to indict somebody. There
is no little boy coming down the aisle to get
(19:16):
the ball from the lady. And then the lady goes
back down and takes the ball from the boy. The
boy's father came down in front of the lady, got
the ball, took it back to his son, and the
lady went down and told the dad, you can't come
do that. So the ball imagined just balls right in
(19:38):
front of you. Cometch, Big Kenny is not even in
your peripheral he's so far down. But he runs down.
Excuse me, excuse me, take the ball, get in front
of me, sir, excuse let me get back hey, excuse me,
excuse me. But they rot the story like the lady
and the boy was jousting for the ball.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
That's how he wrote the story. I saw this because
of the day job. I saw this game, saw it
happen in real time.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Oh, biggest Karen in baseball steals ball from Key.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
The thing is when it's a foul at this this
is what I understand etiquette to be at a baseball
game when it comes to a foul ball or a
home run ball. If you don't catch it, if you
drop it and someone else in front of you gets the.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Ball, that's it.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
And so that's the issue that people had with this
woman is that it was unfair like she tried to
catch the ball. She she didn't catch it. The dad
was standing the row in front of her and picked
and got the ball.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
No see, and that's why you didn't add the whole.
But where did the dad come from? He came from.
He came from. He came to the end of the road.
They weren't sitting His family was sitting on the other
end of the row. Correct.
Speaker 6 (20:57):
But for even even if someone comes down to that
in the road and gets the ball that that no
one has, there's no like right to the ball. If
you catch it, you catch it. If you drop it
and someone else gets it, then you're out of that ball.
And and now, so the issue that the woman has
that like she's but she was complaining that that should
(21:18):
that was my brad, you didn't catch it.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
But you're skipping to the out of the parts that
I'm not talking about. I'm talking about how the media
described the store. I have not seen where it was,
where it was or had some interaction woman with the boy.
Speaker 7 (21:32):
The boy and and this is this is the thing
that I'm maybe confused on. Maybe I'm not up on
baseball etiquette, but uh, in all instances that I've been
aware of, if a home run ball is hit, the
person who has the right to the ball is the
(21:53):
one who either catches it. And then if there's a scramble,
it's usually for people within arm's length. You're in front
of me, you're behind me, or on the sides, and
we're all up. Like in the hell Mary grabbed for
the ball. If it goes to the ground, then we
can scrum for the ball at our feet. The video
(22:14):
I just watched this lady and I'm sure she probably
has never played Major League baseball, tried to catch the ball.
It hit the back of a seat and was kind
of I guess ricocheted, and this dude came running in
from what was nowhere near arms length, grabbed the ball
and walked it back to his son. Now she could
(22:36):
have had a chance to reach over and grab the ball.
All she had to do was step over one chair.
But and I'm not saying there's anybody who has a
right to the ball, but when it comes to etiquette,
when it comes to space and the tickets that we have.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Bought and all of that. You were nowhere near here.
Speaker 7 (22:54):
And maybe it's just winners winners and you know, losers, weepers,
finders keepers kind of yeah, kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
That that that's my That's how I see it as
far as with this, because if the game was sold
out or someone was in that area, someone else is
in that area, and that dad couldn't come down to
the end of the road, then that dad doesn't.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Get that ball. But it's whoever gets the ball?
Speaker 7 (23:22):
Well, well, and see there's there's no like and now
see so rule about it.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
And based if that lady had the ball, had went
towards that dad and boy, and that lady had came
out of her step, went down twenty seats and got
the tuck the ball, who is he then? How would
he's going to address it? I don't know if he
would have done the same thing. But she got the ball,
(23:48):
then that's her ball. And how do we handle this?
And I've seen this.
Speaker 7 (23:51):
Somebody catches a home run ball or kid grabs the
ball and someone just reaches over and grabs the ball
out of their hand and then they claim, well, I
got the ball. You might have caught it, but you
couldn't hold on to it, and then people go and
they get upset. No, that should have been their ball.
But if it's just finders keepers, then it's also survival
(24:12):
of the.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Fittest, isn't it.
Speaker 7 (24:14):
I can take it from you, So if I physically
snatch it from you, I.
Speaker 6 (24:18):
Think it's just dangerous ground. And then he I mean,
some people may look bad if they took it. Take
it from a kid. You know you saw it. I
only saw the US Open uh clip where the the
a kid got a hat autographed and then this man
came over and stole the hat from the kid. So
that may be where some other etiquette may come in
(24:40):
by taking the ball from a kid.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Well, why I paid the same amount of ticket. You're
in your in your analysis that then we at war? Now?
Is that not what he explained it? And that's all
I'm asking.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
That whatever's going on, I may say, I'm saying it
may look bad if it was.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
If it was if the kid.
Speaker 6 (25:02):
Caught the ball and then she came down and like, no,
that should be mine, then you know she may she
may look bad. I don't know if the kid would
give her the ball. But whoever gets the ball, it's
their ball, Okay, not how I would view it.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
I guess that's why the NFL charges you for throwing
the ball, because these kind of incidents can turn into fights.
And I don't like how the media tried to write
the story up, calling this lady a Karen, or that
they tried to make it seem like she took the
ball directly from that boy. She addressed the parent who
came down there and got the boy. That's etiquette. You
(25:41):
don't talk to my kid, you talk to me. Yeah.
And the dad, she didn't take it out the boy's glove.
The dad took the ball because he knew he was wrong,
out the boy's glove and gave it to the lady.
That doesn't make anything. Was he wrong. I'm quite sure
if he felt he was right, he wouldn't have gave
it a ball. She's explaining, you came to my area
(26:07):
minus keepers, all right, I'd like the bad produce already
in here right after this and then the pawn shop.
It's a good thank you, But if you can't run
a bet, jn't bowl.

What thousands have you plead guilty whether you are or not.
Cash Bell makes poverty a crime. That's why the Bell

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Welcome back to this wy Shock show. I'm this war Shock,
Wayne Candy, Good morning to you. Monday night football tonight
the Minnesota Vikings traveling to Chicago. So you get J. J.
McCarthy should be starting for the Vikings and taking on
Caleb Williams, both of them in their second year. Carthy
(29:34):
missed most of last year with an injury. Caleb Williams
was the first pick for the Bears, looking for him
to take a step forward. After crying in his mom's
arms in the stands, he then went on to Chicago
to cry some more and got the coach fired. And
it was everybody's fault except his. And it went along
(29:57):
with what I told you about jumping in this stay
in the stands, excuse me and getting caddled by your
mother leads you to going to a professional team and
starting to be unprofessional and Braddy and that it's everybody's
not making it right for me to perform. Uh, And
(30:17):
I just like when guys finally have to hit that
wall and face and grow up to understand taking responsibility
team first. Before Caleb so we will see. Now you
got a new coach and you know and everything else.
Remember last year he was doing talking about you know what,
(30:40):
defense and receivers and you know these people have to
help you win, right, But we will see how that
works for the new generation gen Z. Y'all love to
just paymper and pet on him. But we'll get more
as we did. You drop them off at Uncle Kenny
House and Wanda. It was like watching the US Open
(31:00):
and congratulation to Alvarez, Carlos Alvarez winning his sixth major,
his second US Open in a row, and Ranya Sabalinka
on Saturdaday winning her second US Open in a row.
But I do know in that two weeks there was
a lot of crying. Everybody lose or struggle, they go
to crying, everybody throw. It used to be just John
(31:24):
McEnroe through his racket and as he tells you when
he retired, he was using those as tactics, uh, to
describe some time or distract the other player. Now everybody
is crying and weeping, and uh, it's just interesting to
watch gen Z take over and watch pro sports. Uh now,
(31:46):
and no matter what the sport is did, did and
Din McEnroe used to get penalized for that. Like now,
I don't think they penalize you or somehow reprimand you
for it. It's more looking for what upset you and
eliminating that in tennis. But you know when McEnroe used
(32:07):
to go and throw something, Hey, hey, you can't throwing things.
That's a point, man, Somebody get this guy. It wasn't
as well received as it is now. In Thursday Night's Action,
the Cowboys played the Eagles. It started off in a
way with Jalen Carter spitting on Dak Prescott. That was
(32:31):
a big conversation over the week people because a lot
of people don't like that. I mean, let's be honest,
and since that is the driving force on how people
perceive you as a player, it's so what I actually
do doesn't matter. It is how you feel about what
I actually do. I think that's the that makes me
(32:54):
the player. That's the reaction. A lot of people had
that because, Okay, if Dak spit in his direction but
it was on the ground, does that mean that Jalen
Carter is allowed to spit on him. No, So the in.
Speaker 6 (33:20):
That case, I would well, Dak started it by spitting
in his direction.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
But he didn't spit on him. No, he did not
spit on Jalen Carter. Jayleen Carter felt that way. As
I said, gen Z and all the emotions lead them
to get kicked out before the game even starts. Now,
the Eagles were still able to win without their star tackle.
And he accepted all the responsibilities. If he was smart,
(33:49):
he just got him a sack. And while he was
laying there, he just opened his mouth and let the
slob go down on Dak as he sacked on him.
It's open your mouth and then just fall down on
his face. That I'm just telling you what guys used
to do. I feel like someone's done that, but he
(34:15):
did it right there in front of the referee. And
I know, but you know how many people have been
the second guy to do something to the point Commentators
tell you that. And in any kind of basketball, the
first guy through the quick elbow and then the second guy,
they catch the second guy. It's the same thing in football,
(34:36):
they catch the second guy. So unfortunately, and yours hit
the mark her right on the eighth and guy.
Speaker 7 (34:50):
And I'm just saying, I don't know if there's a
a an exception for personal outrage when it comes to
being penalized. But if we want to get on the
wrong foot, let some spit come out of your mouth
on me. And we ain't never going to be the
same again. I'm saying we can't never go back. We
(35:11):
can never go back from that moment, and we are
forever changed after that. We could both go into the
Hall of Fame at the same time, and we will.
I'll still look at you like, yeah, right on, we
will never be the same again.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Well, the Eagles winning that game, close game to start
their season off one, and oh the Cowboys now in
a tough division with the Eagles. The Commanders have to
always remember to get that right. I'm sorry for that pause.
I keep going because I played against the other team
(35:48):
of the Washington team. So when you say Washington the
first I still haven't reprogrammed my mind to say the Commanders.
Speaker 6 (35:56):
If I call them like the former Washington ours, I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
Ours. And then Thursday, down in Brazil, the Chiefs took
on the Chargers, Chargers getting them a win against the Chiefs,
a tough game for both. I just feel like that
first game should not be out of the country.
Speaker 7 (36:17):
I was going to ask about that, especially that far.
You know, I could have seen Tijuana that's not that far,
but still played in Mexico City.
Speaker 6 (36:27):
But I think one thing that the NFL is using
for that though, is uh, it's the same time zone,
So it's not really a big deal going to Brazil.
You're still still East Coast well time.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Just like any team will tell you that they want
their home games at home. Now, Unfortunately, somebody got somebody
got to go to on the road. They were both
in Brazil, and that has nothing to do with the
Chiefs losing the game. I just feel like, same thing
with the super Bowl. All first week games need to
(37:01):
be on our sword. We can start this next week.
What it would it had changed anything to have this
game next Friday now? And you're like, it wouldn't have
changed anything, Like, it's not like you're making it's timely
another amount they could charge for streaming charge changed that.
(37:24):
But the Chargers winning that game in Brazil, they had
some Carol g have time performer and that's not that
wasn't kid friendly, no or outfit. And so I don't
want to hear any more of about Janet Jackson and
(37:46):
Justin Timberley. If Carol G can show Big Kenny all
that listen, now listen now some of us it's not
it wasn't family friendly. Am I did I get see
it wrong? Com No, it didn't. She's it's not. Uh,
it's not kid friendly music. It's not for kids. But
(38:07):
the NFL says they are. Well, now, this is something
I want to ask Brazil. Now, that's what I want
to since is that going to be the explanation that
we get when we have to consume this content. I
tuned in for the football and I caught Carol G.
Speaker 7 (38:28):
Well, it's not in the United States, and you know
sometimes outside of the United States, sensibilities are different.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Yay team?
Speaker 7 (38:35):
Is it going to be like that? Or am I
going to have to be on high alert every time
they play outside of the country. You were supposed to
know how it go down in Brazil? Yes, high alert? No, No,
I get that. If no, you don't know how I
go down in Brazil, I'd have guessed that if it
were the after party, everybody know how I go down
(38:56):
in Brazil.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
But we bringing out Grandmama Cake in three minutes and
she's gonna blow it out, and y'all said, we got
something for y'all real fast, Grandmama, and this what we
get this because it's in Brazil, y'all didn't want to
tell me that this was it. And that's all. Even
though people know that the air is a little different
in Amsterdam from what they say, very very different. Care test. Yeah,
(39:18):
you know, kind of like Dion said that Colorado in
the second quarter the air changes. Yeah, he said some
about the second quarter go to smoking. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (39:27):
Well, I'm saying now, and that's fine. It would seem
like for outside of the sporting event, but for that
to go into the ticket price, y'all, y'all wait to this,
Carol g you know what I mean. I just thought
that that was a little bit much for them to
be offering that up as it's Brazil.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
And that's what I'm saying. We'll see so when they
do it from Jamaica, it'll get cloudy in the second
half something like that. Those were not fireworks. Now sitting
there like, oh, they never put off any fireworks, no,
Now would everybody lit up when in Brazil do like Brazilians?
It makes sense to me. You got We'll be back

Welcome back to the sport Shock Show, The Sports Shock
Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening land.
We are running through the weekend of uh sports guys,
any game from high school or college you want to
bring up, we can also hit on those as well.
On the college scene. This weekend it was kind of
(42:58):
like soft at Saturday, where you had a lot of
teams playing teams they paid to come play them. That's
typically when you look. The SEC went on record before
the season to make sure that everybody knew they're doing
(43:19):
nine conference games, so it used to be eight. They're
doing nine out of twelve. That gives you three weeks.
Typically one of those three is homecoming where you get
to invite someone, and one is typically so that you
can keep up whatever rivalry right that you have. So
(43:40):
however the schedule, Yeah, if you got some certain rivalry
you want to keep, you can keep that week and
that other game typically is what we saw this weekend.
For a lot of teams, even if they played a
tough opponent the first week was in that first two games,
they pay somebody to come play them. So that's all
(44:01):
On the Saturday, I think the upset University of South
Florida beat Florida, right, I do know that, And it
was one other upset that I'm trying to think of
unranked Peter. But other than that kind of slow a
big Kenny.
Speaker 7 (44:16):
You went out to see Southern miss play Jacksons State,
and this is you mentioned rivalry, You mentioned paid games,
things like that. A lot of those games used to
have some sort of chip on my shoulder aspect to it. Yeah,
you're paying me, but we're gonna come down and show
you that we could compete. And what I saw this
weekend with Southern miss versus Jackson State in Hattiesburg seemed
(44:41):
like we just wanted feel good football. Nobody was grounding
and pounding. The band performed together two powerhouse programs, one
unified sound, and I was like, what when did when
did we we aren't doing that?
Speaker 4 (45:01):
When do we start having a joint And from the
home side they spelled out US in both bands and
from the visitor side you could see JSU and I
also saw the effects of what seemed to be the
transfer portal. It's a SWACK versus SBC school.
Speaker 7 (45:19):
Uh, there's supposed to be a difference, but they about
the same size, same speed, but the same. But there's
a guy that goes to jack and State though probably
jumping to portal and be at USM in two weeks,
and the guy from USM will be at Mississippi State somewhere.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Yeah, who won the game? Southern did so.
Speaker 7 (45:39):
And they started pulling away at the end of the
game when where it should have been. Usually it's one
of those beat you so bad, make you kind of
wonder if you want the money next time things.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
But you know now, it wasn't like that at all.
I wonder in those because I was in the band
in high school and there I do know that when
I've seen that, and I love going to bland contest,
I was wondering maybe the joint well, I don't know
what it could have been. It could have been to
show some kind of unity, right. It could have also
(46:13):
been that maybe one of them that routine is long,
so it wouldn't leave time for the other band. It's
a way to get both bands on the field in
that twenty minutes. Well, you know some of those top
notch bands, yeah, take a long time.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Now.
Speaker 7 (46:31):
This is the thing sports Jack I projected onto it
that the band's presentation is so culturally different. The sonic
Boom of the South is R and B pop music,
very fast paced. The Pride of Southern miss is very
(46:54):
traditionally dont don.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
Sports football kind of band.
Speaker 7 (47:00):
And they got together and did a Cupid's uh flex
shuffle is what they played. So it's something that you
would hear at a tailgate and everybody can gather around
and it seemed to me like they were making concerted
effort to present that we are one image. There is
(47:21):
no us in them. We just all having fun in
the spirit of football and fellowship there.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
So none of you are up there yelling get those
Karens off the field. Ah, did I hear Karen?
Speaker 18 (47:34):
No?
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Because there they wouldn't have known who to grab at.
Southern Miss. You get that, Karen, and all of the
women would have been like, not me her So Southern Miss.
Jackson State. Did your team win this weekend? Florida State? Yes,
we did. Okay, y'all in the top ten ranking out
he see that?
Speaker 6 (47:57):
I didn't. I didn't. I didn't look at the rank.
I can't wait to get it played East Texas A
and M. And I don't even know where that is
that it's in Texas.
Speaker 4 (48:09):
Oh, you're guessing that could be Oklahoma somewhere and they
just call it East Texas.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
It could be that. So say the Kansas City Chiefs
play in Kansas. No, Kansas City, Missouri. I don't know
if there a Texas. There might be a Texas City, Oklahoma.
Speaker 4 (48:31):
So well, this weekend, as I said, I had a
rain delay up in Uh. It was Cartersville versus Calhoun.
For you that do keep up with college football, Cartersville
has a receiver, Brady mccazy. He's going to Georgia. Real
(48:52):
deal again from Cartersville. That's the real that's unheard of.
Like wow, I never really seen anybody from Cartersville come
out except for like nine of the last guys came
out of Cartersville. Cartersville running Brown, Trevor Lawn so those guys.
(49:12):
But they have a receiver up there. He's when you
see him at Guga next year the year after. I remember,
I said he was fast, big, aggressive. He looked like
a boy playing a men playing boy sports. You mentioned
the rain delay, and you may have clarified it for
me before, but what is the rule with rain? How
(49:34):
long do we have to wait each time that lightning
is spotted within a eight I think it's eight miles,
no more than ten. I want to say it's eight
miles of the stadium. Then the clock stops and goes
back and it's like thirty minutes. So the game was
(49:56):
supposed to kick off at seven thirty, and we kicked
all close to about mind forty two because said lightnings right.
So each time they're spotted and I made the joke.
I made the joke when I played until the lightning
hit somebody. They never Yeah, we never had Okay, time out,
(50:20):
time out, somebody get him off of their come on,
back up, get it so we'll be back more a
sports Shock show right after this.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
I don't really know.

Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the sports
shock wing can Deconmanchic, Greg Big Kenney, and now the
bad producer is in the bill Dingus Rise Up has
decided to come on in. Yeah, we're here. We still here.
So we got a loss al over here for the Jets,
we got a l over here for the Cowboys, and
(52:58):
we have an l over here well what I used
to know as the dirty Birds, and we got it.
I own you, I own you. Yesterday going down to
the game, I did go to the game to catch
Michael Pennix and his starting debut for the season twenty
(53:20):
three to twenty. Baker Makefield was able to drive his
team down late. They did miss that extra point which
gave the Falcons some hope, and then the Falcons I
missed the forty four yard field goal to tie the
game up. Oh are you looking like that?
Speaker 6 (53:40):
I like, I mean were There are a lot of
missed kicks yesterday as far as like with extra points,
and I mean it's some field goals are missed, but
it seemed like every kicker missed at least one kick
at some point in the game. I just felt like
there was there was more than was enough to where
(54:00):
like it seemed like everybody's missing kicks. Well, Chris Boswell
did not miss his for the Stealers. He kicked the
sixty yard field goal against the Jets. Hey, I think
we I think we've gone over that. We went through
it at the top of the hour. That was like
right before the breaking hour, and we back on this.
Speaker 4 (54:23):
Stealers. Joey was the record. That was the record for
the Stellers. That was the longest twig Get hour put
your team because I was watching the Stiller game because
I have to do this the Steller Squad show right
after the game. So I left right at the fourth quarter,
drove home. I watched the game on the phone. But
(54:45):
I gave Matt kudos to Justin Fields. I even called
him Justin Young because he looked like Steve Young for
a day. He looked like what the Bears imagined when
they drafted him. Like the first time I saw him
play and thought, there it is because first round to
(55:08):
show you that, they'll show you even if their career
doesn't go like you think, they give you that moment
where it's like, oh that's what they was hoping. The
bottle upright and keep pouring right. That's that's heines fifty seven.
They was hoping to get that hold on, hold on
right there, Let's get that all in the bottle and
do that every week. And he looked like that yesterday.
(55:29):
He looked poised when he was leaving the pocket, he
was escaping, he was keeping his shoulder square. He looked
like he knew where the receivers were when he was leaving.
A lot of time, when you go back, he would
just start running. He put his head down and lose.
And yesterday he looked for the you know, and sometimes
it takes a while for guys, and this is Justin's
(55:53):
fourth fifth year or fourth fifth, fifth year.
Speaker 7 (55:57):
And takes it takes a little while. And somebody going,
right now, you're gonna end up out of lead, it
really does. You're gonna keep on your job. He looked
nice yesterday. Yes I ever saw him. Yeah, Aaron Rodgers
just looked nice, sir at that moment. And you said
something that about the fourth time that you mentioned that.
(56:17):
I thought it was interesting, uh, that that was for
yesterday's game. We don't know if Rogers will be able
to sustain this for an entire season, but he got
up for the occasion yesterday and there was no tonight.
Speaker 4 (56:30):
Yeah, his body is fresh. He took a couple of
hits and you have to see. Uh, Aaron Rodgers will
be forty two in December, and the same thing with
Justin Fields. You just hope he can stay that way.
Some guys. They can just show Sam Darnold, who's out
with the Seahawks. He looks like he maybe he's reverting
(56:52):
back because he's not in that that hot streak anymore.
The zone now, he's kind of going back to what
he wants. But you hope that some of these guys,
because we do need these young guys to pan out
if we want to enjoy football. So many of them
are not.
Speaker 19 (57:10):
So go ahead, No, I was just since you was
at the game yesterday, what did you see as far
as like takeaway? I mean, as far as the Foalcons defense,
we supposed to have gotten our defense a little bit better,
but let us down right there in the secondary part
of it. I think as far as the the D
line played real well, the offense played well, but just
(57:32):
we had a little problem with the secondary special teams.
Speaker 4 (57:36):
I don't even know how to judge special teams. Yeah,
that's another thing too. This kickoff thing. Everybody just stands
and waits to the guys, and thats to be you
know what I'm saying. That's for said, that's the safety.
Now now you're penalized if you kick the ball in
the end zone. The new rule this year is that
(57:57):
nobody moves until the up man and the back man
catches the ball. Then everybody moves. So that's how they
changed it. And the kicker now is to kick the
ball in. If he kicks it in the end zone,
they instantly get the ball at the thirty five right.
That's why you saw a lot of returns yesterday. So
(58:19):
now what the kicker used to do was just kick
the ball in the end zone. Coach, kick it on
what let me ask.
Speaker 6 (58:25):
This now they giving you are trying to like it's safety,
but we also want returns.
Speaker 4 (58:33):
And this is the question.
Speaker 19 (58:35):
Think about the kick returns from the day when Dion
or Drake Homers or the guys.
Speaker 4 (58:40):
Like the.
Speaker 19 (58:42):
Just with us with Hester, it was a different type
of kick off of the kick when you score. So
this looks like this may be a little bit easier
to break it and you don't have it. Listen, it's
the one part of football that makes me. The saddest
is what they have done to kick off. Now I
(59:03):
can't even on side kick.
Speaker 4 (59:05):
Yeah, that's you. Gotta tell him. I gotta go here
and tell you. Excuse me, sir, I'm giving you some
strategy in an effort to win this game.
Speaker 7 (59:16):
My team and I have prepared to use some strategy
to throw you off balance and get an advantage in
this game.
Speaker 4 (59:24):
Yes, oh you're gonna bunt. We're not. We're not coming
in through Cali. We are storming the beaches of Normandy.
So we thought we'd let you know that the invasion
is not in Cali. I know, we kind of sent
some false information hold on that we were going to
come through Cali, France. Yeah, but we're really storming the
beaches at Normany, So move all your stuff down there.
Speaker 7 (59:47):
Hold on, hold on, let me y'all, y'all, hold on.
I got another call. Hey man, why don't everybody go
to Normandy.
Speaker 4 (59:54):
We'll be back with more than Sports Jock Show right
after this Texas main I'm the streets night and day.

we need it. Talk to someone if you're struggling with

I'm gonna go on the way you Vegan.
Speaker 4 (01:01:55):
Welcome back to the Sports Shock Shower. I'm the Sports
Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning till you end this thing
Land Monday Night football here the Vikings and the Bears
tonight eight point fifteen. We ended the last segment. Just
so you'll know. Those references were from World War Two.
I'm a big history guy, so when I said Cali,
(01:02:17):
not Cali, California, the Allied forces pretended as dough. They
made up a whole bunch of prop planes and balloon
tanks and made it seem like General Patton was about
to lead about a million men through Cali, France across
(01:02:37):
the canal. This was d Day and because they Hitler
sent almost a million men thinking they were coming that way,
and American forces came through the beaches of Normandy. So
that's why I was making that reference. If you're trying
to the same thing with the kickoff, I got to
(01:02:58):
come over here and tell you just half on side
kick is surprised and.
Speaker 7 (01:03:04):
See, this is this is why, this is why America
has never been greater than right now, because you have
to explain that to Americans.
Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
Yes, you do have to explain it to them. You
have to really the history. The woke, the wokies, they.
Speaker 7 (01:03:20):
Pulled it out of school. We couldn't teach how we
kicked the crap out of Hitler. But they don't have
history no more school. They don't teach it the way
you from an American perspective. They don't teach that we
went and kicked the crap out of the crowds. Oh
so the kids don't know now they say that we
had a skirmish and a mile disagreement.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Between nights among in nineteen forty five, we were just
arguing sex. Hundred million people died in war. Well, in today's.
Speaker 7 (01:03:57):
History books, it says in that same amount of time,
they had a uh, a spirited kerfuffle, and over one
hundred million participants made the ultimate sacrifice.
Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
In this in the kerfuffle, the spirited kerfuffle. It's not
just a kerfuffle, sir, don't don't diminish it. It was
a spirited kerfuffle. But it's amazing that you had to
sit here and take two minutes to explain. Oh no,
I just know that we were referencing, and I know
sometimes people don't some people don't go to school. Because
some people don't go to school threw me off. I
(01:04:37):
remember the Cali but I said, oh yeah.
Speaker 19 (01:04:38):
People like you don't go to school. Read I was
thinking to come through Tea. Why she didn't go through
Tijuana if you're going to cal see.
Speaker 7 (01:04:45):
And that's why you explain it, and that's why that's
why they're doing mass deportations right now.
Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
Well, and that's also part of why America got into
the war. Russia was trying to get Mexico at one
point or to attack us, so they were going to
make a treaty. They was going to join them to
their forces. But that's let's get back now. Glad me
of them. I'm going to talk to the whole st
(01:05:12):
I think that was before Vladimir. That was probably Glad
to talk to Gooba telling him everything. Boying Vladimir Lenin,
it would have been Linen oh le, okay, he's right.
His name was Bladimir. I went to school and him
installing took over and made what we know to be
(01:05:33):
the Soviet.
Speaker 7 (01:05:33):
See, I was in school every day now it was
strictly for profit because my customer base school.
Speaker 4 (01:05:42):
As I said, Monday night football Vikings Bears. We talked
about the Cowboys losing, the Falcons losing, the Jets losing.
We gave congratulations to Iranya Sabalinka for women her second
US Open and Carlos al Krraz for winning her his
excuse me second US opened as well. Give me a
(01:06:04):
round of applause for our man and the Hall of
Famer Randy Moss bean back. It's good to see him
on TV. Battled back from cancer. I was reading. He
said they had to take maybe two or three pieces
(01:06:24):
of different things cut the cancer out. So good to
see Randy Moss. And you can literally see a different
Brandy Moss if you go back about eight twelve months,
and he looked like he was dying. And it's good
to see him back like that and look like he
really appreciates life. So congratulations to him. Does Christian McCaffrey
(01:06:48):
play yesterday? Yesterday Christian saw him in uniform. He's getting
on my that list, like you don't know on your
glass list. Tim, It's it's a glass list where I
just he's rarely he's rarely in. But but I mean's
(01:07:09):
on the rarely end list. You know, they usually they
say he rarely misses time, he rarely think about this. Okay,
who was he carries? Okay, okay, okay. And this ain't
the first time.
Speaker 7 (01:07:22):
We seen him like that though, Remember that was his
That was our knock on him when he was in Carrol,
when he was in Carolina. He's an outstanding player when
he's in the game.
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
He's as good as anybody when he out there, but
rarely is till then, So okay, round of applause for
Christen for playing yesterday. Good to see him out on
the field. But can you say we had a couple
of comments lower listeners online comments, Uh, you mentioned that
the Jets had lost, the Cowboys had lost, the Falcons
(01:07:53):
had a loss, and Jared Leys is but a big
w for Raider think they played East Texas A and
M universe.
Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:08:06):
And then R. J.
Speaker 7 (01:08:07):
Twitty says he still says that Pittsburgh let another one
get away with Justin fields Man. What could have been
like now that he's finding himself had he been still
in Pittsburgh. Uh, may have been some long term I
guess winning possibilities for the Steelers.
Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
No, that's not that's not how the world works. I'm sorry.
It's not the third team. And if I was three
tenths of a second faster, I would have been a receiver.
Speaker 7 (01:08:38):
I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
And taller. I'm saying might have recruited me and said
he loved a halftime show FROMIL. But the Raiders did
be the Patriots. Then they play the Patriots. Yes, let's
(01:09:04):
come back. Come Mike Rabel, first game back as the
head in the head coaching at coaching the Patriots, Geno
Smith making enough plays. Rock Bowers caught five or six balls,
so he looks like a jewel for them. And from
last year's draft, Pete Carroll back on the sideline. But
(01:09:25):
we will hold measurement of what the Raiders can do
until they play a little team that we feel has
a little more something to games. And they're still now
and I think the bad producer actually said it. You
have to look at their division with the Chargers, with
(01:09:45):
the Chiefs, the Broncos, it's similar to in with the
Cowboy Eagles Commanders. That's a tough division there.
Speaker 7 (01:09:56):
We also Jared mentioned that there were a lot of
missed field goals in extra points and uh, we just
had a comment from Darryl Bowen Senior that says Week
one lacked a lot of defense. Or now when people
say it lacked a lot of defense, did it lack
defense or was just they're just an abundance of offense.
Speaker 19 (01:10:17):
No, it's just not to say the defense got to
be able to make the adjustments. Now, this is the
first week they're gonna get the film. You're gonna see
who's who, that's what, that's what. What it boils down
to be able to film study and then like going forward,
because I mean, even though we're oer and one and
we're behind the eight ball, I still feel good about,
(01:10:40):
you know, what the Falcons could be because it's just what.
Speaker 4 (01:10:42):
I think he's talking about one in general.
Speaker 19 (01:10:45):
What I'm just saying, I just like I said my
earlier I said, I felt like the defense didn't play
like we were suspecting them to.
Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
Like our hopes is Falcons fans, But we're not talking
about the Falcon. I'm just saying we have watched, yeah
about crying out, but I don't watch what I would
ask you and I'll get back to Darryl in one
court in one second, Big Kenny, you keep talking about
(01:11:14):
the falcon defense. Who's on the falcon defense that you
don't think Baker Mayfield can score twenty three points? Quick
uick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick? Who's
over there? Qui quick quick wick? I said, that's what
I said. Our secondary who's in the secondary wall yesterday?
Like we ain't have nobody At the end of the game,
you get burnt like you know, you know too the
(01:11:38):
big pass let's there's nothing behind you, everything in front
of you. Baker Mayfield through for one hundred and sixty
seven yards. She was seventeen for thirty two. That means
he barely cracked five. But you're saying the past defense
was what at the end of the game.
Speaker 19 (01:11:59):
Maybe I shoul shouldn't say that it was bad, but
at the end when it counted, when we needed the
pass defense to step up, you let the man get
behind you instill of keeping the ball in front of
that's I'm sorry, that's.
Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
And you think that guy that let the man get
behind him was trying to nah Just the Buccaneers Baker
and that was a rookie that got him. So you know,
first tout mans for you know, first round pick. Yeah,
fresh set of leg, young buck, under cat. So but
back to I thought, I thought for the two teams
(01:12:37):
that you feel like is gonna win the division? Where
the Falcons. That was a good game. Yeah, it went
kind of like a three pass.
Speaker 7 (01:12:45):
And last week when you asked like who's on your radar,
first people I said were Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Yeah, and and the Falcons.
Speaker 7 (01:12:56):
If anybody was going to have to watch out for
uh to be clinched by somebody already, it's looking out
towards the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
We saw that and Fogo to break. I would say
to Daryl that I think the defenses that they were
a couple like the Stellers, like the Ravens, like the
even the Bills. They were defenses that was built. You
thought they were gonna dominate. Yeah, the personnel over there says,
(01:13:29):
you know, you got Joey Bosa. Now with the Bills,
you got guys. So you're sitting there watching games and
from defenses that you thought were gonna be why the
teams win and they were giving up a lot of
points and the Jets are still pushing the Steelers front
line around right now. They ran for like one hundred
(01:13:50):
and ninety yards like Stellers won the game, but they
played no run defense. We'll be back more to Sports
Jock Show right after this night.
Speaker 8 (01:14:02):
Damn Damn bad Jo, my homie, AMOA level, Amola level.
Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
LA level.
Speaker 9 (01:14:12):
Jo'm bow Away or of the Sports Jock Show with

Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
Speaker 14 (01:15:23):
Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
have life insurance.
Speaker 26 (01:15:32):
When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
just getting started with our family and thought, we live
forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
Speaker 4 (01:15:38):
What about you?
Speaker 15 (01:15:39):
Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
Speaker 26 (01:15:41):
When I was forty, with a kid in college and
bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
the insurance.
Speaker 14 (01:15:48):
Informant information gives you power, and life insurance gives your
family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
Speaker 26 (01:15:54):
Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll
leave my family with bills or benefits.
Speaker 4 (01:15:58):
The answer is easy.
Speaker 14 (01:15:59):
Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today, benefits
or bills dot com? That's benefits or bills dot com.
Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy, go
go Goat, Go Goat, Go go show. It's sugar Day.
We're gonna call it's Shiver Day. We're gonna sit It's Shuverarday.
And you know we don't give up because that's.
Speaker 5 (01:16:44):
Not all of.
Speaker 4 (01:16:46):
Walk back to this what shock? Shout out this what shock?
Wayne gandee uh one other thing too. Before with defenses,
especially over last good maybe ten a decade, rarely do
you see defenses even stop teams in two minute drills.
(01:17:06):
I don't know what it is. Maybe I gotta start
looking a little, but teams seem to be able to
at least get an opportunity for that field goal.
Speaker 7 (01:17:17):
I used to think, you know, it used to be
I thought two minute drills had two minute defenses too,
Like every time they go okay, teams going into its
two minute drill. I thought the defense had a Okay,
we're in the two minute portion of the game and
now we're gonna go to this. But it does special coverage, especially,
it doesn't seem like that. I can see like they're
(01:17:39):
all playing to make sure that at minimum they keep
them to a field.
Speaker 19 (01:17:42):
And then the two minute drill would they is it
more of a prevent or do they stay aggressive?
Speaker 4 (01:17:47):
That's that's up to the coordinator of what he feels
like will happen or who's the kicker. And as we're
seeing h and guys, everybody on every team now has
some dude that can hit it with the fifty two yarders.
So I don't know that fear is in their mind
that man, they get two.
Speaker 6 (01:18:06):
First downs and we in fielgal rays if you kick
from fifty five, like every every kicker should be able
to make a fifty five.
Speaker 4 (01:18:14):
That's the expectation. So a couple of birthdays here off
the yesterday, today and tomorrow. Jonathan Major, which is surprising.
Definitely thought he was about twelve years older. He's thirty
six years old. Jonathan Major. That's going to prison, stress
and make you years that going to prison stress. I
(01:18:35):
had you. I'm telling you, you look out on it.
He's looked like that all the time. Yeah, because Oliver
Hudson is forty nine, Leslie Jones is fifty eight. Comedian
Leslie Jones fifty eight. Donovan Mitchell such game that he
brings onto the court for the Cavaliers twenty nine. Evan
rachel Wood is thirty eight years old. Westwood, Westboro. Yeah,
(01:19:01):
great series Westworod if you ever see it, that's what
she stars in. Thirty eight. Jody Turner Smith she is
thirty nine years old. Kevin Love thirty seven, Shane Mosley
Shane fifty four, Adam Sandler fifty nine. Where's Khalifa? Thirty eight,
Bernie Sanders eighty four, Lrenz Tate, Oh Dog, it's fifty.
(01:19:24):
Slim Thug is forty five, Bob Stoops is sixty five.
My man still around, still her fans. Dick Lebo just
won't give up? Is he still? Dick Lobow just will
not give up. He's still alive. I know he's still coaching,
though it might be somewhere from the school. He's eighty
eight years old, is Dick Lebow? Thunder? Dan Martin, I
(01:19:46):
just liked that dog. Thunder Dan Harley is sixty years old.
They always have to put the Marley name in with it, though,
you just never call him thunder Down. Thunder Dan Marley
Hayley van Lift is twenty four for the Chicago Sky,
one of the young ladies that Angelice threw under the bus.
(01:20:07):
I thought was very surprising that she did that. She's
suspended now for throwing her teammates. Yeah, teamments detrimental to
the team. And this young lady actually played with her
at LSU for a year and she's just a rookie.
So I don't know how you've evaluated to be able
to just throw the girl right under the bus. Aley
(01:20:27):
van Lyth is twenty four. Bj Armstrong is fifty eight.
Gabby Williams of the Seattleist WNBA team Storm Storm She
is twenty nine. Mister No Shirt j R. Smith is
the Big four zero, Michael bou Blake is fifty, Actress
(01:20:48):
Michelle Williams is forty five, and Pink is forty six
years old. Those are the birthdays, bad producer. We're gonna
let bad Producers go today just to give him his
one annual, his one and your clock, the clock and
(01:21:08):
got he don't work all the time. Oh, we're gonna
just go ahead, go with pink. I know he didn't
even hear the rest of the people. That's why I'm
ask him. That's why I asked him because knew he
wasn't paying attention.
Speaker 20 (01:21:19):
I was.
Speaker 4 (01:21:19):
I wrote him down. I was trying to help Kenny out. Oh,
you're gonna help him out, But I mean it didn't.
That's how that's how we get trying to help. Yeah,
I was just trying. Oh you're trying to help. You're
trying to help.
Speaker 19 (01:21:33):
I mean it was skeptical about a couple of them.
I was like, Dad, Kenny gonna have a hard choice.
Shoes bad. But when you threw pink at the end,
I was like, Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
We lost the great Davy Johnson three times World Champion
Major League Baseball, Davy Johnson eighty two years old and
one of the great designers of our time. Georgia, our
money will pull outa ar money stuff and I'm quite
sure you could sell it for higher prices. He lived
to be like eighty seven. Stylish style, g a cool,
(01:22:07):
You're very Georgia Silk Italian. What some kind of no, no,
you you can't carry ask you you doing like you
just send him to the taxidermists and he just stand
there like what you know, you put him in the
ground with his hand in a in a stylish way,
(01:22:31):
maybe holding a monocle. But they do you like that.
Speaker 19 (01:22:34):
Now the funerals, they can set you up like if
you're as a comedian, you they can have you up
there standing like you're doing a set and the people
walk through.
Speaker 4 (01:22:43):
And and and my mama called it doing too much.
But Angel Reifs, we talked about Hayley van Liz. The
sky did suspend her. She went on and said that
she wasn't going to take basically as though it was
everybody else her. What do you do with Angel Reese?
If you just gottad you go ahead on and let
(01:23:04):
her get out of there?
Speaker 6 (01:23:08):
It's no I did just I mean I don't know
like how the how the contracts worked or anything, but
I mean I've seen first round picks get cut before after.
Speaker 4 (01:23:20):
But where's she going? They could just they could just
cut her.
Speaker 7 (01:23:24):
Well, I'm wondering, how do you fix a problem that
you're partly responsible for creating? How do you punish that? No,
she was who she was before the Sky Draft. No,
I'm saying, and then they let her go on with
her blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah,
and now the blah blah blah is detrimental to the team.
(01:23:45):
And so now we're going to hay Man. Why don't
you when before maybe someone, hey, listen, why don't you
just you know.
Speaker 4 (01:23:52):
Let's play basketball.
Speaker 6 (01:23:54):
Well, the mistake was letting that Like, if that's aired
out in a I feel like in a team meeting,
that's one thing, But for it to be in the
that's one thing I think everyone should know, especially athletes,
should know that you don't air out that stuff in
the media.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
And it seems like that's what she wants to live
her whole life in the media. Yeah, and that's what
I'm saying. She doesn't see it as the media.
Speaker 7 (01:24:19):
She sees them as her people like that that generation
she comes from, that generation of athlete that they're like
the first nil babies, and so all they know is
that social media exposure and how to generate Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:24:38):
Getting that attention. Yeah, sometimes the sometimes the opportunity shows
itself to you and you don't do it to me.
After she what she's doing. Maybe we need to just
go ahead and move way now right then, trying to
feel like we can stitch this together. Right, We'll be
(01:25:00):
back more to Sports Jock Show right after this Don't
Go Away, or of the.
Speaker 9 (01:25:17):
Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gantidius coming up next.
Speaker 27 (01:25:20):
Hurting the game, We tough it out, feel exhausted, we
push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress
gets to us and we need to talk to someone
about what we're really going through. So we're going to
reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one

My mom has taken up going to the park to

Speaker 15 (01:25:59):

And now back to the Sports Job Wayne.
Speaker 23 (01:27:29):
Players Lounge. You have been given full access to the
player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne gangy even.
Speaker 4 (01:27:40):
Voos gripped and propos even know Voos grip Pocos even
know votos.
Speaker 1 (01:27:48):
Gripped and proposing. Crowding, still battling in the mix. It's
that zig zigs longs. Let me stick in your cheecken
wealking back to this one shock show. I'm the sport
Shocks wing Candy. I know we were talking about Ranger Reese,
but I think the whole WNBA kind of dropped the
ball this year. They didn't take advantage of that tidal wave,
(01:28:13):
and I just don't get that that.
Speaker 4 (01:28:14):
They really built on last year. It seems a little
fizzle from Caitlyn Clark being out to talking about sitting
out next year and those kind of things like you
just got a little momentum. Some of this stuff need
(01:28:35):
to stay in house. Yeah here with the T shirts,
pay us what you're old and people like man I
just started tuning in and you're already on that diva
page and your audience is not big enough to lose fans.
(01:28:56):
Sometimes you have to be big enough to have us.
You know, some people are big enough to lose ten percent,
fifteen percent of their fan base and you still got
some great playing going on like based Booker.
Speaker 19 (01:29:09):
She's putting up numbers like Caitlin last year, but she's
just not getting that fan fare.
Speaker 7 (01:29:13):
And is it necessary to recruit to generate, to grow
a fan base. If your stance is pay me what
you owe me, you got the money, share it, Why
I gotta go get my own fans, They really don't.
Why I gotta go get my own fans. You got money,
you got money, and we play in the same sport.
(01:29:34):
Just give us what we ought to have, but journey.
Speaker 6 (01:29:37):
And they still don't see that. They the teams really
don't have it, like they don't have the money, like
they're losing money every year. They had a great growth,
but it was still okay, we lost less money than exactly.
Speaker 7 (01:29:52):
And we're still not focused. It seems like all of
the conversation is focused on give me more instead of
how can we grow this or let's hold what we got.
Speaker 4 (01:30:01):
Retention is good too.
Speaker 7 (01:30:03):
Even if we don't have growth, if we don't have
any decline, then we're holding strong at the very least.
And don't kill the marketing dollars. Whatever your sport was
not going to grow each and every player. Marketing dollars
grew those young ladies. Those grown women have more money
(01:30:23):
as far as being able to go out, and now
instead of having to go to Europe, I can make
up that and marketing dollars, selling products. You know, just
go down to raising cane and take a picture of
fifty grand. That's you know, that's how they're doing it now.
So one of my big questions other weekend came from
this little audio here, and I wanted to ask you guys,
(01:30:47):
why is this such an issue?
Speaker 4 (01:30:50):
Did you play that great right morning? Are you feeling okay?
You look at AJ Brown?
Speaker 28 (01:30:58):
Which is this number one wid if we got one
target all night and then you got ceedee Lamb.
Speaker 4 (01:31:02):
But that's the when was that's the target?
Speaker 22 (01:31:05):
Was the one I'm saying you could have way for
seconds nothing the game on second and eleven, it was
the one target. He runs the wake up this quarter
they got Brown had a better day than City Lamb.
Speaker 4 (01:31:15):
But you know what to wake up saying no A J.
Speaker 12 (01:31:18):
Brown's team is one and oh of course, like like
that's what again?
Speaker 22 (01:31:20):
But the thing is this though, and and we shouldn't
do this on TV, And so I apologize that people
think this is rude.
Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
That's the non player oh, stop, that's no that. Let
me tell you why I'm not saying that's Ryan Clark.
They were on a panel the other day after the
Eagles Cowboys game. Teddy Bruski was up there, Ryan Clark
was there, he was talking to us, was up there.
(01:31:56):
So it was three players and then Pete Pete Schrager
and that's who he pointed out to be the non player.
I wanted to ask you, guys, I know you, why
is it that people get so offended when that is
(01:32:17):
pointed out that someone's not a player that you are,
that's the non player in you. I'm actually helping you out.
You're you're speculating because you that's what seems to happen you.
You let your speculating think that what you're saying is reality.
(01:32:40):
But you're speculating. And we've talked about this in different
times over the decade that we've been on a show.
Why do people bad produce a big Kenny mansion get
offended when the players put them in their place and
remind them that you're the non player.
Speaker 7 (01:33:04):
For me, I think that, and not that anybody's right
or wrong, I think that a lot of times people
get offended because number one you say, Okay, that's the
non player in you. You're just speculating. That's how I
ended up here. I was My speculation was well respected
(01:33:25):
enough that it got me on the panel. So I'm
just doing what they pay me to do, speculate. And
sometimes the player says in a debate where that's your
big joker, the facts, the data you're presenting, the conversation
we're having, the debate is even.
Speaker 4 (01:33:43):
But we're not debating. I'm telling you what actually is
going on, and you're theorizing, well, and I'm saying, it's
like the three of us, any combination. If it was
three women here talking about childbirth, right, and it's one
man up here, right, and these three women have multiple kids,
(01:34:10):
what are you doing to be telling them what childbirth is?
Speaker 18 (01:34:17):
Like?
Speaker 6 (01:34:17):
I put the things on my stomach to simulate, and
then they gave me the shock or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:34:23):
And then but right now, that's right, that's what it
seems like. This is sometimes where I'm gonna tell you
I'm on a real series. I don't I'm not looking
for the joke. I'm trying to figure out why do
people get offended when, especially in sports, when your analyzation
(01:34:48):
is not from the perspective of what's going on. And
I have this because, as I said, I do just
I have to remember this. I'm on here with three
reporters and they all got these opinions and I'm sitting
there holding it and remembering, you can't say that. You
can't say that because what they're talking about sounds like
(01:35:12):
something like you're ordering something from Target. And I'm actually
telling you that's not what's going on. That's not the
thought we had, that's not how we went into the game.
Young lady last night text me about the coach for
the Bills, what's his name, McDermott. McDermott goes for two
(01:35:32):
when they had the penalty if thinking it was like
twenty seven and he was gonna make it twenty seven
to twenty one, and whoa, he shouldn't have went for that.
And I'm like, yes, she should have because at some
point in his high score and they put the ball
on the one, he has an offense that can and
at some point I gotta take a chance to win
(01:35:53):
this game. Oh, I don't agree with you. What when
were you in the game, Oh, you stayed at a
holiday inn. So now, how do you.
Speaker 7 (01:36:09):
Debate with people of something you have not experienced well,
and again, I think a lot of that comes from
the same thing that we were kind of talking about
with Angel Rees. They have made these speculators, these commentators,
these anchors of these sports shows authorities because of the
(01:36:36):
positions that they hold. Now, long before you invited the
former professional athlete to sit alongside you, to add color
and to add realistic perspective, you were how weren't co
sell and look at this man, now just be debate.
Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
It used to just be the data and you coloring
the sport.
Speaker 7 (01:37:00):
Then you had the steven A's and the other people
come along saying it like it was fact. You are
a bum because you should have done And now I'm
sitting across from a you, and I done forgot where
I am, and the people listening to me donet forgot
that I never played the sport and that my opinion
shouldn't weigh anymore than it's the same as a person
(01:37:22):
will know when you on the battlefield. You never jumped
out of a tank and fought. So now you're telling
people that did it how to go to war. And
that's all I'm saying is we have given these speculators
so much authority that when they get alongside people who
know better and those people check them, it hits the
(01:37:44):
listening audience's ear wrong because sound like you're talking to me. Now,
I be talking barber shoply all the time, but I mean,
I'm the king of the barber shop.
Speaker 4 (01:37:54):
He talk and you I was agreeing what this man
was saying, and then when you checked him, kind of
feel checked myself. But Kenny, they've always had a player,
not as meaning as they do now.
Speaker 19 (01:38:06):
Cross used to be on the panel with CBS, with
Brett Musburg and all them, and he was the voice
of reason.
Speaker 6 (01:38:12):
Now you just have it's three players. It's it's a
it's a lot of uh. Those who have not played
don't see that. It's like they refuse to recognize a
player's perspective.
Speaker 19 (01:38:27):
But when you got a Teddy Bruce k Ryan H.
Clark and that right there. As a reporter, you could
dial it back now. But if it's but I'm saying,
but if it's two of you on there, it's a debate.
But at the same time, sometimes you get sometimes players are.
Speaker 4 (01:38:46):
Wrong, but the players are going.
Speaker 6 (01:38:52):
This is another incident in which it some someone who
is not played is ignoring the perspective of someone who
has We've seen this several but sometimes, as I'm saying,
you can't ignore the person that actually and they still
trying to ignore it. Okay, your feelings just hurt. It's
(01:39:12):
an ego thing.
Speaker 4 (01:39:14):
I sounded like I knew what I was talking about
to this man says, shut up, you don't know what
you're talking about. And now I'm on some o. Well,
I stayed at the house and we go to break
It's just the thing I found myself in the last
couple of weeks in these settings where it's like people
got offended because you say, there's this is not the
New York Stock Exchange.
Speaker 9 (01:39:36):
This is not.
Speaker 4 (01:39:36):
Futures and buns and bullmarkets. These are people. And if
you ain't been in that helmet, then when I say
if they want to die, kill them, you don't have
any perspectives. So it sounds like I'm some kind of terrorists.
But I'm telling you that you get in the game
and these people kind of seem like they want you
(01:39:58):
to beat them, and some teens won't just go knock
them out. They let him stay around. So our coach
used to say, if they want to die. Kill him.
Don't just go ahead on and kill him. He's raising
the white flag and you don't let him stay around.
Now it's thirteen ten. He didn't got his second win,
(01:40:21):
Reach bud, reach for his little gun in his boot. Nah,
when you had him, you had it. You should have
finished she went on and finished it. But you start monologuing.
We'll be back with what the sports jock show right
after this.
Speaker 3 (01:40:37):

Welcome back to this what shock shah, this what shock
winged again? D be Can we got anybody on any
comments from our listeners out there? I want to make
sure for going uh. When we were talking about the
the the w n B, a UH Elder K. C.
Speaker 7 (01:43:34):
Lamar Huey Senior said, y'all, don't forget we're dealing with
women were vassal And I told and I told him,
we're gonna get flagged for that. And he said it's
in the Bible and the Bible and they still and
they still gonna flag us. Now they're gonna flag us
for being a religious show.
Speaker 4 (01:43:53):
Oh. The Miami Dolphins yesterday dropping a game to the
Colts thirty three to eight. I don't know that to
a tackle oa is the answer. I didn't know think
that he was necessarily the answer when they got drafted
(01:44:14):
because he doesn't have pro arm same thing I feel
about Bryce Young. They don't have the size, they don't
have the arm strength. I know you got a distrontal
worker in Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill is a good piece
of a puzzle. Maybe Dolphins to trade as well. I
(01:44:37):
don't know that anybody would be upset if y'all just
maybe he thought time going a new direction. Tyreek Hill
still has some value that could get you some second,
third round picks. And I'm not sure what the Dolphins
and I'm definitely not sure that Tua Tackleioa can do it.
(01:45:02):
I haven't seen it.
Speaker 7 (01:45:06):
I mean, can you talk about you talk about the
mentality inside the helmet as a quarterback? How effective can
you be knowing all I got to do is fall
wrong and this is over for me. I hope this
dude doesn't bump into me too hard because I'll have
another concussion. And it just seems like after that second one,
(01:45:27):
what's in is second or third concussion? I would I
just never thought, Yeah, I just never thought he was
going to be the same. And this game is everybody's
always holding their breath on some ah please get up, please, okay, okay,
he got up. And when that's your preoccupation, you can't
(01:45:48):
move forward. Yeah, I just see in one dimension, and
even in that dimension, he has one tool. Everything has
to go precisely right. He doesn't have where he can
make something. He's not big and strong like Josh Allam.
He's not fast like Lamar Jackson. He doesn't have pinpoint accuracy.
(01:46:12):
The ball doesn't have any when you watch his balls,
and it looks like Bryce Young and I know they
went to Alabama, but none of them really have any
There's no wild factor. And I think the Dolphins might
have to really conced. I know they gave him that
big contract and they're kind of stuck in a sense.
(01:46:32):
But it's that's me, I guess.
Speaker 4 (01:46:38):
But the Bengals, they beat the Browns yesterday, seventeen sixteen,
Joe Flacco. I guess thirty forty five times, y'all, y'all
let him throw the ball, really, forty year old, well
forty five times, y'all might as well just put Shador
in there. He can just go dur and rotate him
(01:47:01):
with Dylan what's his name, Dylan Gabriel. See how it works? Well,
see how that go. Well, they don't have uh, they're well,
they just think.
Speaker 6 (01:47:14):
I feel like they just signed Quinn Shawn Jenkins right
before the game started, like he was. You know, they're
running back the word, so there's there. They have no
balance on their offense, like I don't. I don't know
how well they'll be able to run the ball going forward.
So you're gonna you might see that a lot more
than throwing that many times.
Speaker 4 (01:47:32):
And then the Bengals. The Bengals have a lot of
players when you ask, when I look at them, they
like a lot of guys that play for the money.
M hm. Really, if you asked me to be your evaluator,
I come to watch the Bengals. The Bengals have a
roster of guys who play the game for the money.
(01:47:55):
He Higgins, Jamar Chase, Joe Burrow, Hendrick. They all out here.
I don't need my money, and that I don't mean
that other people if we all, everybody in the league
play for their money. But they seem to play Lamar
Jackson and you watched Lamar last night, you watched Josh Allen.
(01:48:16):
They seemed like they was playing for real. Joe Burrow
seemed like he playing so we could buy some more
stogies and date more Instagram models. Y'all don't see that
little difference about how they seem to be, like, I
need my name, I need to live up to this
money right right there between earning my money and pay
(01:48:39):
me my money.
Speaker 6 (01:48:40):
You think they're playing down to the competition because it
was the Browns.
Speaker 4 (01:48:46):
The Bengals on the road the first game of the year. Yeah,
and that's the first. That's I don't know what the
Browns got. We just got here. We ain't even had
a preseason game, and I mean they may still think
it's the Browns. Well it might have had, it's still
the brown I mean when when what is it on your.
Speaker 19 (01:49:06):
Well, yesterday was to be first season open to win
in six six years, So that that speaks volume for
if you're a Bengals fan that they win their opener
for the first time in six years. So what makes
I'm just wondering, I'm hearing you say they seem like
they just play for the money.
Speaker 4 (01:49:22):
What gives you that? I'm trying to see it me
watching them play the game of football over the last
whatever years they've been in the league, they don't seem invested,
that they care more about winning than their paycheck. It's
a disposition that a player brings to the court that
(01:49:48):
shows you that. Sometimes you call it immaturity, so you think, oh,
it's just because they're not old enough. And then some
people pay play because it can make a lot of
money doing it, but they're not playing in this kind
of way. You know, the kid for Atlanta for the Hawks,
(01:50:11):
he doesn't give me that he's playing for Legacy or
Mount Rushmore as much as he gives me I'm gonna
need my fifty million a year and I'm okay being
a journeyman doing it. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:50:29):
So it's just that feeling, and that's I think the
Bengals problem. They have too many of those guys.
Speaker 4 (01:50:36):
Yeah, because I like Lamar Chase Jamar Chase. But I'm
just I didn't say they were not great players, did No,
I said I like him. I'm James Harden makes me play.
He feel like he's just playing.
Speaker 19 (01:50:49):
To get Oh Jack, you're playing for the check. So
you do know the feeling? Did this man just makes
me explain? Well, you can see it in James Harden.
I just tea the guys I've never like, I thought
Burroughs made a little.
Speaker 4 (01:51:04):
Rangs show.

Can we put a spin on life and sports and
how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
Speaker 3 (01:52:51):
Yeah, Hi, yeah, hi.
Speaker 8 (01:53:01):
Boys, weed a bush, weed the bush. We're making noise.
Speaker 4 (01:53:16):
Hold out, hold on, walk back to this one shock shower.
I'm this war shock wing Candy and we were talking
about uh and what's the subject we have to take
into some other shows. There's plot guys on every team
and every sport that are playing just for the money.
(01:53:43):
So I wasn't just I was just saying with the Bengals,
when people try to figure out what their problem, all
of their key people are that, in my opinion, show
me the money, Show me the money. Yes, just show
me the money type guys. They don't really wrestle with you,
do know I lost last night? Yeah, they to be
(01:54:05):
outside like when Ceedee Lamb the lost it and he
was out. Okay, that kind of thing. They don't have
a you know, because if you lose you in the house,
they're still going to a little baby's party. Tonight non
you know, and passes and all. That's the kind of
(01:54:27):
I'm saying. There's those guys and some of them are
Hall of famers and all that, but they don't do it,
you know, like old crazy Mike Irving. Mike Irvin wanted
to make you feel a certain way that you can't
check me kind of. I don't forgot that I get
paid to do this, but I want to embarrass Big Kenny.
(01:54:51):
You out here thinking you're gonna cover me. I'm you
know that kind of bragging, right, So when I walk
by in the club, you put your head down. That's
them guys, and ask you why are you even here?
What you're doing here? But you might don't be acting
like that. Man, Oh bro, I'm saying. And then all
of them close to me, if you wasn't this close
(01:55:11):
to the whole game, and one of them guys that
you be ip with me popping bottles. But you now,
you gotta lead because if he say one my word,
now y'all fighting because he's getting at you. That's how
that's what I'm saying. I'm out here. There's a different
little vibe to it, and it's hard for a lot
of times to see, but that thing where you think
(01:55:32):
a person is really really engaged of trying to win.
The Bengals problem to me that they have too many
guys that can brush it off. I got mine right,
I got my eight catches, one hundred and thirty two
yards and two touchdown. I don't know what y'all were doing, right,
kind of guys right? Better get yours and those guys.
(01:55:55):
When you have too many olds on the team, you
can't consistently. You have a lot of ups and downs.
Speaker 19 (01:56:01):
Well that's what I think that the reporter was trying
to get at, like saying, this guy's only got one
catch and try to make a big deal out of
the instead of saying that maybe kept throwing the ball.
Wasn't the play that they needed or it wasn't When
talking with Ryan Clark, when Ryan Clark told him, you're
a non player, you're not understanding when he kept trying
(01:56:23):
to describe a J. Brown only got targeted one time,
it's not a J. Brown's fault.
Speaker 4 (01:56:28):
You know you can't. The quarterback still has to And
that's why I pointed out, I wonder why when guys
get upset when I start telling you that sounds good
on the New York Stock Exchange. But the game don't
always manifest like that, right, That's not always an opportunity expectation.
Speaker 6 (01:56:48):
The expectations are different between like what from a player,
what you expect from your teammate, or you knew what
the game plan was, and from a reporter's perspective, you know,
like all the receivers if if they don't all get
eight catches and two touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (01:57:04):
Then they didn't get it done. But that might not
have been the game because the number one key to
it all is you can quickly if you didn't play
the sport, forget the guy on the other side of
the ball.
Speaker 6 (01:57:22):
Exists, exists man, and he get paid to and they
pull up a Brinks truck to his house too, just
like you, and you gonna be asking me why ain't
moving him?
Speaker 4 (01:57:33):
He decided he ain't want to be moved. That's why
that's what he did. He decided he was gonna drop
them up, and y'all ain't moving me today. And I'm
sitting there like damn, I gotta try something else now
because he don't decide he don't want to move to date,
So coach, let's try another trick. Well, we're gonna do No,
I'm serious. Someday you sit there and you hope and
(01:57:56):
what's my man Chester McLaughlan whether ip Chester for rip?
And part of attacking him was we'll see how he
want to play today, because if Chester decided that Chester
didn't want to be blocked, Yeah, and Chester don't get blocked,
(01:58:17):
and I don't care what y'all doing that defense Eric.
This man is six six about three point thirty, bigger, stronger, faster.
But you catch Chester about half the time. He'd be
out there playing for the money. That there playing for
the money. And that's what you want to get on him, boys,
just getting him and then here. But if he came today,
(01:58:39):
if wife he called him on the way to the
stadium with one of the more argument of conversations, why
don't you just go to another team so we don't
have to move so more, I gotta do something with
this anger And then you hit him and you just
stuck there too day he won't move today. How he
sees his wife on your face, We reporters totally almost
(01:59:02):
forget those other you do know this man is we're
all professionals. The you know, the margin of era is
so thin. That's what it is, but they make it
seem like, oh, no, you should always be at the
mercy if I call your name, then no, that's not
really how it works. Maybe the day to guy that
(01:59:23):
was Garden, AJ Brown had decided I'm gonna be terrible
next week. But the day A J.
Speaker 6 (01:59:32):
Brown gonna get this, I'm like, you know, I got
four Red Bulls and two five hour energies. Get the
way to the stadium. Your wife called on some you
get get me an autograph from A J. Brown, And
you're like, oh, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:59:51):
I get in my autograph. I got him. Now the
other sixteen games, he's killing me. But today he on
the side. When I had this autograph, she ain't gonna
want it. Like he didn't get nothing. Michael Irving says
on Shannon Sharp Show, he left a million dollar check
on the dresser that used to be his pickup line. Yeah,
(02:00:12):
he was, he was. I think he was trying to explain,
like he said, you used to take a million dollar checks.
So when the woman walked by it, oh everybody they
see a million dollar check. And I kept thinking, man,
you just keep losing on that interest. Wasn't that check
in the you know if he had the copy or yeah,
the real I think it was. I think it was
(02:00:34):
the copy. I remember that. I think he made a
copy and he just you know, he let him know that.
That's Greg boy. Greg was down there in the White
House with him, I mean catering. He was doing the catering.
I thought he was working Valet.
Speaker 7 (02:00:48):
I guess it's a tough market because me being Michael Irving,
I ought to be rap enough.
Speaker 4 (02:00:52):
You know what I'm saying. You still got to see
the check who competing with me? I left this dude
ten ours behind in the game Playmaker. We are in
those The truth is he will throw yours in the ocean.
Speaker 15 (02:01:11):
It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Juck Show.
Speaker 2 (02:01:15):

It's still you're still here, but going in the ocean today.
For even having the rumor, I don't know if it's
gonna manifest or not, but to have the rumor of
the money grab called Tyson Mayweather, just to even put
(02:02:25):
that out there as a thing, and I'm throwing the
people who are going to tune in in the ocean
see Mike and Floyd a money making machine. They supposed
to sell your stuff you don't need, you know, they
supposed to sell you and stuff like that. That's what
(02:02:48):
you want to buy this America. I'm a money man.
I'm a money man. That's all. It's all. I'm a
money man. You know what it creats sell you water
while you live by well, that's what they supposed to do,
is America. But you are wrong for tuning in and
paying anything. Now, if it's free with your Netflix account
(02:03:09):
and you just want some laugh, click on. But if
you pay any money to see Tyson Maywell and not
see that, Floyd should just give Mike two or three
mel Man. Look, man, let's get some kind of Mike
Tyson cartoon doll and I'll pay, because that's all it is.
(02:03:31):
Floyd needs paid taxes and a couple of them lawsuits.
He got to get off the books on the frauded
somebody out of four million dollars. But that's what I'm saying.
But really, haven't we all right? We ain't eating all
skimmed about four mill You have them right. But for
you out there that would tune in to see fifty
(02:03:52):
nine year old Mike Tyson like forty eight year old
seventy pounds lighter Floyd Mayweather.
Speaker 24 (02:04:00):
Walk the plank, I got me some scuba dive again
because I'm gonna be watching.
