Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, welcome back to the ground Table podcast, where
we talk about all things nerd related, pop culture, and
anything else in between what everyone talked about honestly. But
today we're gonna be talking about the awesome, well written
Star Wars series called and Or seven two, specifically first

(00:20):
sixth episodes, and boy with it a slub crawl, but
a good crawl. Let's get into this. So, Marcus, how
do you feeling about the first six episodes?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
First thing is, I don't even look at them as
six episodes. I look at it as part one in
part two, because we get three episodes a week, which
I love. By the way, I could sit there and
watch them. I was sitting there. Yes, keep it going,
keep it going. I like the direction that going in

(00:53):
and I like how they picked up right where we
left off. So if you like watched the first season,
they reached app of course, like every show card, but
it picks up like a like a little bit of time.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
There's been some time in between.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
It's a year.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
There's been a year, but I like how I think,
and I think this is what's gonna be happening. How
each stark it's a year because now with the with
the second part, it's three years before the Battle of Yarn,
so we're getting closer to Road One, which Diega Luna
was like, when you watch this show and when you

(01:31):
finish it, go watch Road one immediately after, because you'll
have a different view about outlook on it. And I
was like, I see what he's saying, because it's it's slow,
like you said, and that's what I like. It's like
a slow build, but it's all it's it's these nuggets
and it's all this little stuff that they're doing, and
it's this side and this person's playing this person, like

(01:52):
basically everybody is playing somebody in this game of war,
which is which people gotta understand. And I think this
is a lot of people like tripping about it. It's
so slow, all the romance, and I'm like, bro, y'all
gotta remember these are still regular people.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
These ain't jet all.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
These are like people like us that work everyday jobs,
gotta pay for their crib.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
And then you got the people who actually trying to
fight a war.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
And this is the things that happen when you fighting
a war and you're trying to rebel against a fascist power,
which in this case is the Empire, which ironically we
both representing.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
The Night, but we don't. We don't.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
We're not like, yeah, I really the direction season two
is going in so far because season one was exactly
felt like exactly what it was supposed to be. It
was like that heist, we got a big score. This
is the setup of the rebellion. We're gonna show you
how to people like how Mom, Mathma and all them

(03:00):
doing that part. But it felt just like it was
supposed to be like a heights just set this up
for the bigs. So to see this, we're getting more
of the politics.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
The.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
What's the word I'm looking for, Like the hierarchy of
the empire and them bending the rules, the corruption, the
abusive powers.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
I mean, you just put it out that you.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Saw in the first episode, the situation with bigs in
one of the imperial officers. That's something that happened in
real like warfare and pretty much every war, and it
was really big and like the Vietnam War, stuff like
that wasn't uncommon, and I think me and you talked
about it before the part how people was like, oh no,

(03:49):
that the Empire wouldn't be like that. I'm like, y'all
do know that George Lucas like he basically he made
the Empire to mirror any kind of fascist group like
from the world from all the Wars, like they basically
like the season, like all of that.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
He is legit, like cut and pace.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
It's people are saying that because of what Star Wars
has been for so many years and what we haven't seen,
but at the same time they don't understand that all along.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
This is George Lucas vision.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
He just didn't have the means and the technology and
the people to back him to make all of this happen.
So he didn't get to get this far to write
this because he stopped after the prequels. So now people
are getting more in depth into what George's whole idea
was about. The politics, the hypocricy of war warfare, guerrilla warfare,

(04:55):
the corruption, the spies playing this.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Because even with the the rebels aren't all like squeaky clean.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
They get down and dirty that they're not proud of,
you know what I'm saying. So it's like all these
things factor and it even shows you like how these
people are pulled into this stuff either from a certain
age they're pulled into it where these are people who
are considered high class, but they're risking they're literally risking

(05:23):
it all because they're tired of like being under this
rule of a unfair what's the world.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I'm losing my words to night, but you know what
I'm trying to say.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yeah, so unfair power, yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Unfair power.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, because people gotta realize at this point in the timeline,
the emperor in Vader have been ruling over the galaxy
for a good what twenty thirty years now? So what
look Yeah, like it's been twenty years, so it's been
twenty years that they've been doing everything. So people are

(05:59):
fair up and they're like, we're not taking this anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
And I love how like that that images painted right
at the end of episode six with bigs and Or
was walking out of the bay like little building, And
at first I was like, oh, snap mixed and went
crazy and she jeopardized and everything. But then when my
boy Android came into the frame, I was like, hell, yeah,

(06:28):
the damn rebellion.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Right, that was a cool thing.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Like when I thought when I when I saw her
do that thing, I thought, like when she was the guy,
I thought it was wondering her like vinins or her
dreams ain't real. And then it wasn't until like I
thought and or there that I was like, oh that
was a real ship.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Okay, cool, you said a lot of like stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
You really thumbed up pretty much a lot of the
episodes in a real little small fountain.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Bite right there.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
But what I'll add to what you said is this season,
well really season one, but like really evidently in season two,
it shows different people in their like levels of where
they're at with the rebellion.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
When you have Mafman Mahma, sorry Mathma, you have.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
When you have her like she's.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Not willing to really get her hands dirty, yet she's
trying to do it through like breacracy and stuff like
that and get people on her side and try to
work through the like power system. They're gonna get people
on her side. And then you have Lutheran who's like
double crossing people. Hey, if what's the name the is it? Gordon?
Gorgon Gordon, get their name? If they if they burn,

(07:41):
it's gonna be a beautiful flame. Oh like geez whatever.
That I was like, you don't care as long as
the rebellion is going.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
You know, almost empire.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
I was like, whoa, what do you think that?

Speaker 1 (07:54):
But I felt in in season one when you were
saying like then about he's fighting for a sunset he
won't see When I heard.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That, that's deep business. That's deep because that means whatever
I gotta do. Yep, that's on the same page.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
That's what you know.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
You never stopped fighting.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Since the Cold Wars. This man thirty years deep into this.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Like his career. But continue. I know you were going
to try to say something I just had to finish, man.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
No, I'm just saying that means it just shows like
these people are really ready to die. And even with Saul,
I love like the psyche how they get like into
where these people are psychologically. Yeah, they like mentally Because
with Saul, when he had that whole speech with the
with the dude who was with and oring them, yeah,

(08:48):
helping him with the engineering and like he said, it's
my sister. So it's like he's still holding on to
that tragic moment that happened to him losing his sister
when they was fighting it Phone Wars, and she's still
like a metaphor in his mind. Like with things, and
that's I guess that's what keeps him somewhat sane. Yeah,

(09:08):
and what keeps him like fighting because it's my sister
was fighting for the same war, and the war's not
over yet.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
And until it's over, until I know it's over, that's when.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I could be at ease, which we all know happens
in Road one because he's I know now that they
got the plans missions gonna be carried out, I'm done.
It's like that's you get to see more because like
when we first got sawd in Rode one, we knew
him for Clone Wars, but now we get to see
this version of him and how he got to who

(09:41):
he is in Role one, So we slowly seeing like
those moments that made him like the guy us old.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
We don't want to mess with Sault.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Like now now I see why when they went to
Jeda like why people was like, oh, yeah, it's Sawgerella
and his militia. I'm like, oh, that's why, because play.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Like when he was doing the speech with him and
you're talking and that from the same thing he said
he told me. I think he said you have to
be insane the rebel or something like that or to
be crazy rebel and that was another bar that I
was like, that's powerful. You have to be insane or
crazy to be a part of this rebellion.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
That's just what it is.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
That's why he was like, take off the little math
or whatever, covering yourself and take any breath. You're like,
you feel that that's freedom.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
You really do have to be insane because it's like, bro,
you are literally going up against a power as over
the whole galaxy. They have they're implemented basically everywhere you go,
just like he said with the guy who he had
to like, oh, he's been reporting back to the empire.

(10:45):
So it's like no matter where you go, they're always
behind a lurking in the shadows. And did you notice
something though I know it's from the newer movies that
we don't really care for, but did you notice that base.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Relocated?

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I was like, Oh, I was like, that's from when
they had to relocate in the.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Sequel whatever, Yeah, the sequels.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
So yeah, I was like, that fool that they made
that connection, because it's always wonder like how did they
know about that base and like where it comes from?

Speaker 3 (11:16):
But that's a that was a cool little Easter. I
did like that.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
But yeah, getting back to what I was saying, you
gotta be insane because this is a different kind of
power because not only does Palpatam have the Old Republic
at his hand of all those politicians and senators and
governors and all these people working for him, but he

(11:40):
has the power of the space station. He's a he's
a simple lord. He has his his apprentice, Darth Vader. Like,
it's all these parts that play in it because some
of these people don't even know. That's the scared part
about this, And I think we might get it later on.
But the scared part is about this is a lot
of people don't know about Beata. Like they probably they've

(12:05):
heard about it, but everybody think it's like this myth
or this like fairy tale that they.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Tell to scare you.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
So when they I always love when people actually see
Beata because it's always that old ship, look like, oh
he's really, he's real.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
The craziest part about it was they were on that
planet with the spiders, right, and the leader was like,
help A team doesn't know about that stuff.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
I'm like, helpe, team probably tells a little bit about it.
Nothing else. I ain't nothing. I'm not intervening with it.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
All he worried about is what he needs to be
worried about, Like that little planet.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
He ain't got time for that. He just said, his
lord right, officers over there, just make sure they don't
get out of handy.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
That's what they They building like a whole compound there,
fact armory. And I'm like, that shows you that he
don't care as long as what's supposed to be done
is done. Now, if they are to blow up that,
then he'll be like, Okay, I gotta do handle that
because we don't want people thinking that this is gonna

(13:10):
be the norm exactly.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
So that's ahead.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
No.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I was just gonna say, that's why did they got
some balls to do that?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Because that's on course. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
So I'm like they're like, man, we gotta start this.
But I just find it funny that they don't really
know who he really is. They're still like disillusioned by Oh,
he surely doesn't know what's going on, because if he did,
he keeps stopping.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
It's like that delusion.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
They're not there yet, and even and I was like,
they're not ready, and that right there, that line right
there made me go. I was like, they're not ready. Yeah,
But I didn't like thrill Thrill, I hate him. I
don't like like who yeah him.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
And now he's knocking the boots with the girl from
the other Empire.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Dra Yeah, And I'm just like, he's playing both sides
and he's infiltrated and I'm sitting there, You're.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Not gonna turn You're not gonna be a rebel now.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
He's not bro And I'm just like, stop flirting with it,
like exactly.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Honestly, I think she would before before he would.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Yeah, girl, I agree.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
I think he's because he gets he didn't get mad
at like authority from like telling that he bugged his
on office or whatever like that. But I don't think
he like understands like the bigger thing about it, you
know what I mean. He doesn't understand that it's because
you're part of a system that is not a good system,
that they're always gonna suspect anybody from doing anything.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
There's no trust in it. There's no trust in the system.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
It's something else, bro. So this show makes me despise
Critick even more. Like Keivin ro Man, is he an
asshole in this But it's but that's what good is.
Like the lines that he says, like the little moments
he had, like when they was at the party, was like, oh,

(15:15):
he's so connived, bro like he he played. He plays
that little fiddle really good one, I know. And he
and I think the whole time he's thinking in his
head like, oh wait till y'all see what I got.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Y'all see what I got.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
It's gonna change the motherfucking game. Excuse my French, but
I had to say that because.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
It really is.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Because like and in his line when he was talking
about she was like, it's a story for the whole
people that like Champion, like not being able to see,
and he was like he said something about other people
that would be great to be on that planet. I
was like, shut up.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Why why?

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Oh man, I'm like, Brooke choke you a little bit
smart ass mouth.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
That's how I referd of my notes. I was like
the guy that Beta choked. That's how I remember him.
I'm like, oh, yeah, man, you're not craising got you
choked out.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
They choked out. But yeah, man, so I gotta ask you.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Like now that we so we got these first two
arcs and it's basically, it's almost like watching them. It's
like we're watching a movie because we gotta we got
the beginning in the middle, and then I'm guessing the
next three is gonna be the end. What do you
see happening the end result of of this season? Where

(16:55):
do you see my characters you think might pop up moments?
What's gonna happen? Because we all know, I'm would give
you mine real quick, all right? I think, what's that
boy who got the who plays like the shot? He
has a shot and he's with the rebellion.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
Oh, we're talking about Lutheran.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yeah, I think Lutheran makes it out of this season.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
I think he's gonna do something like Grandy else. I
think he's gonna go out with a bang or something
like that.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
I think he's going like, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Don't it's gonna be like a sacrifice he gotta make
because he's.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Gonna understand that what he gotta do is tell us,
he tells the thun rise happens. He's gonna understand that
this is his moment. He's my thing. I've been thinking Bix.
I don't know if she's gonna make it out of
this season because the way they set up, like because
I don't really remember Rogun too much, but he don't
be seeming like he's missing somebody.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
And yeah, in Road one, he really seems like he's
cold now, like just with the rebellion, he trying to
get it done. And that's probably probably why, because.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Yeah, I think that for sure.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Or maybe either she's gonna lets they die, or she's
gonna leave at some point in time just because of
the streath of her like torture and he's gonna have
to just leave her behind him for her safety, does
not interact with her anymore, and just or he's gonna
do something like kill a I think he killed a
kid in the part too. I think he's gonna do

(18:29):
more stuff like that to where she's just not gonna
be like with it anymore, like she's gonna lose.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
That with him. I don't think. I think she can
go either way.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
She could die or she could live, but I don't
see her being in the last episode or.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
Something like that. For characters coming up, I can't right now.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
I don't have any that I can think of because
I don't think, Oh you canna.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Think, do you think Galen? One of Galen is gonna
show up.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
I think so, I think that she.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
I think that it depends on actually no, because the
timeline would work out perfectly honestly because it's endying up
right up and with it, so she'd be around. Maybe
she's gonna be like he's gonna be on like that
planet and we're gonna get like a glimpse of that
with her dad and her family before everything happened. That's
it's gonna be where it like leaves it and then
Rogue once is gonna go right into like where we

(19:22):
meet her again.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
I'm thinking that.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
I'm thinking, like, we're gonna get to see her dad, Like,
we're gonna get to see Jalen either get captured or
him like with the plans or something and sending them
a salt Like. I feel like it's gonna be like
at the very end, it's gonna be almost like Vader. Also,
because we got Bail showing up in the show. Do

(19:47):
you think Leiah will be the name drop to have
a moment like that we'll get to see her.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
She's definitely a pivotal part at this point in time.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Yeah, she's actually like doing stuff, and that's what kind
of confuses me. Sometimes when they get in these time
periods and they don't use like Luke and Les like
they actually were doing stuff at this time. I'm like,
you're gonna you're gonna miss a moment, a big moment
if you don't have her at all, like you got
you have.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
To have a name dropper.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
You got a name dropper or at the very least
at the end of it the Vader thing, have her
like appear because we know, based on like pretty about
a lot of the series.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Because what is it plating in between that period?

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Two?

Speaker 2 (20:31):
No, No, Rebels, Rebels, I don't forget that before.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
I think Rebels is like right before.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
All of this.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
It before, it's before and or and all that.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Because remember they haven't built the Death Start yet.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Okay, so because they didn't have it and.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
This is Rember.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah remember and Rebels. Okay, someone Rebels. They haven't built
the Depth start. I'm trying to remember one second, trying
to I'm trying to remember the time period.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Okay, I know how you're.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Gonna remember, Okay, with.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Obi Wan and Mall with the fight. Remember Lucal was
still a little boy.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Yeah, so it's I think Rebels is ten years after
episode three, So that's ten years before and Or and
all of that. So yeah, that's before that, but we
do know that Layer started doing stuff when she was
like in those teenage years.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
So I think.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Rebels Rebels is right before all it. Rebels and and
Ork matchup a little bit. I agree as far as
what's going on, it like bleeds into it because we
did get to see the rebellion start and Rebels, so
it's like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
About I'm thinking about Asoka now because we have Ezra
and obviously Aska and Sabing and their like older characters.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
I'm trying to keep them too because they are around that.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, so yeah, they were younger, so I think, yeah,
all of that happens. Yeah, all of that happens before
and Or because with and Or it's going into the
era of the like the when the Death Star is
getting completed, I'm thinking Rebels. I think in Rebels it
was mentioned, but they hadn't they just started like really

(22:33):
worked like getting close to finish, because even with episode three,
that's when they started like building it. So in that
whole process they were working on it, and with and
Ord we're getting to see that they basically finished with it.
They just putting the last few pieces together exactly.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
So we're not so pretty much at this point in time.
But these last few episodes, I guess we're SEMMI.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
One Mall, Mall is dead, All is gone. Now, Yeah,
I had to think about that.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
I'm like, I'm thinking timeline wise because last time, I
think he would necessarily be oh no, because he does
a consolo before parts of Rebels to the movie. Yeah,
which is the single story timeline like the movie. Whatever
timeline is feel confusing. Sometimes we gotta lace them. You

(23:24):
gotta think about it like this happened here and here
because yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Because okay, I know exactly how to put it.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
So and or when we lived we just left off
it's three years before the battle, right, so that's three
years before Road one. Mm hmmm, so this last, this last,
these last three episodes, we just left off bro for
three years before Road one, So that will put layer

(23:58):
seventeen because I think, okay, yeah, at the beginning of
the New Hope.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
So right now, so she's so that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
If it's another year, I'm pretty sure they're gonna have
her come up in the.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Show point somewhere.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, especially with Mam Mathma because she was part of
the rebellion too, like in all those connections. I'm definitely
sure it's gonna come up now because I think at
that point she's starting to get into the politics and stuff.
I'm pretty sure she comes up. Do you think we're
going to see the emperor? They are vader? Do you

(24:35):
think they're gonna uppear?

Speaker 1 (24:38):
I put more money on. Actually, now I take it back.
I put fifty fifty on either them or Vador I
put up. I put fifty.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
They've been dropping the emperor's name a.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Lot, exactly, and I'm surprised they haven't had him in
a meeting or something, or him from kind of like
political things.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Yeah, yeah, I just want to see this for nostalgic
and old time. Say they pan up to Chorls something, well,
the Jedi temple and all there used to be, and
we see the doors open, and you see his desk
and his office and what that window was the window is,
and his chairs turned around and one of the imperial
officers come in and just say something like Emperor Palpatine,

(25:22):
whatever the conversation is, and he's just talking to him
the whole time, with the chair turned to the window
and they just see the back of the chair and
then it like slowly turns around and you see his
face and stuff. And then once he's talking to him,
they explaining whatever happened, and then you hear the breathing.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
The frame and these love beto, you know, loveto with
this situation. I have nothing else for you.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
And then he like sending them off, and then I
think that's how we'll get If Vader happens, it's gonna
be a situation like that, something crazy is gonna happen.
Get his attention because right now they just have the
meetings with him and like getting them.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Caught up with what's going on.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
This is here, we're here, got this issue because right
now the emperors just focused on the death.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Start like he had worried about nothing else.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
So I definitely, like you said, I think it's a
fifty to fifty we get both of them because they
a lot of these a lot of these people wen
even play a pivotal part in what they're leading up to.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yeah, it's really close.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I didn't know what was gonna beat this because when
I saw like three years before the Battle of y'all,
I said, oh, like they they really should be like
right before Rogue.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
One, right before Yeah, so I think I want to
see both those characters. But I'm definitely now that you
said that, now you set the scene like that, we're
definitely getting better to think of. He showed up in
Rogue one, and he shows up in that one theme
and it handles business he.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Showed up for.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Oh I thought, I guess clic Yeah, I gret I
prefer I refer to them as the guy gets choked out.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
That's his name for it.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Now, So him talking this stuff, they're gonna have a
lot of there now. He has to be dropped at
the end of the show and is gonna be there, Luke,
I feel like they're not really good. I feel like
they're not really gonna show him too much because he's
not really doing too much.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
They might handle.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Obi Wan watching him, but other than that, they we're
not getting too much because he's not really playing a
part in and ors the story.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Even like characters I know they probably won't have, but
like Charris is Hera.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Those types of people like these are people that's.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Involved was involved with the battles care like it's I'm
really like betting on it, like having these people set up,
even if we don't see them they drop. I definitely
think they're gonna mention Jedda because that's because the fact
that we haven't saw and that he left that base,

(27:56):
that's he's definitely probably going to jail, so that's gonna
come up. And then the fact that they were harboring
the copper crystals for the death start of that. So
it's I think a lot of stuff is gonna start
bleeding into this last these last few episodes, we're finna
get to this like final art, and it's just so

(28:18):
awesome to see it because we got Roll one so
long ago. It's, oh, we're just getting They just spoiling
us now because we're getting most storied, like what was
I was fine with Roll one, like just telling us
how they got the plans, But now we get to
see the rebellion form all that stuff we always heard
about what it takes to start a rebellion, what we sacrificed.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Now we're seeing the sacrifices, and I just love it all.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
How and Or feels like Star the Star Wars version
a blade Runner, like the whole thing has gave me
Blade Runner vibe, Like the whole time even to like
even to the score.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
It sounds like.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Blade, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Like you was just saying, it's the fact that we're
seeing how much and Orid has sacrificed to get to
like why he's the person he is, bro, because he
didn't find his sister, the mother and father figure he
had that adopted him. He lost both of them. You know,
he couldn't go back home. He didn't see her before

(29:23):
she passed. Biggs got caught and torture, he lost friends,
he had to make some crazy decisions. He was in prison,
Like the dude went through a lot. So it's like
when you see him in Roll one, is I get
why he's so like straight to the point and trying
to get stuff done because he know time is running out.

(29:44):
We don't have time to make mistakes. I've lost so much.
I think he even says in Roll one, I've lost
lost a lot too, or something like that. You don't
talking to j He's like, you don't know what this
And I was like, you don't know what this rebell
you can do? I was like, bro, now I see
what he's like that because at first I was like, man,
he a little sour, ain't but.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
It makes sense looking at exactly like the funny thing
the thing is about I'm going to jail.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
It's like he wasn't doing anything and he.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Got caught up and put in jail, and that right
there was probably the moment where he was like, Okay,
this place gotta go.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
We got we gotta get rid of it. Situation.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
The symptem didn't benefit him no more. He think, no,
it's gotta go. I've been down for no reason.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
I was leg just chilling man in my business.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
We I know who we're gonna get to see k Is.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Okay, yeah, that's one of my favorite words.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
For sure, he's definitely he's definitely popping up.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Oh yeah, he's on the calf. I looked at the calf.
He's in the calf.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
I'm sure he's gonna be in the first episode, the next, next, next,
the weeks.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
They're gonna drop it real quick. They gotta get that
bomb going. Man.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
I'm excited, man, I'm loving it. I'm loving how I
wish I wish they would do this. Bore the show
with the shows. Now give us three episodes a week,
because when you're dragging out so long, you gotta come back.
Get the recap, remember what happened. I feel like I'm
watching three like two. I watched two movies and that's what. Yeah,

(31:28):
I love it. I look, I'm same.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
I think.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
I think the I think as the more we build
this universe, and we've been building the universe for what
forty plus.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Let's say forty plus years almost.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Pretty much the rewatch that you're gonna have after they've
calmed down a little bit, and you watched from one, two, three,
everything in between. You got your even clubing words obviously
back into but yeah, yeah, yeah, bad bats right at
your your and or your han solo, your your rebels,

(32:03):
you got obi Wan, you got all these things in between.
You got then you got four or five, six, and
you got everything. I think it doesn't know Soka takes place.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah, error, yeah, it's that Manalaurin and the Soka is
all in.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
The okay, because I was wondering about that.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Okay, So it takes place maybe right before the sequels,
then I would.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Six and seven. So you got too much content.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
It's gonna be it's gonna be a crazy story though
it's seeing all that stuff together all at once.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
It's just it's gonna be a Crazy Watch.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
I personally recommend if you like Star Wars, if you
like the more political stuff, the more in your face,
the more grounded Star Wars stuff, this is where you
want to go because it's just like it's so Father
one was very layering in the plot. It's Heather two.
If not, we just gonna put this, We're gonna put
a uh saeting in in the first back, the epithet

(33:00):
were letting you know that plain and simple needs are
bad guys, no pretense, no nothing. So it lets people
know what time the empires are.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Now, this is why they're the bad guys.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
This is why in a New Hope there they have
to be taken down, like you gotta have that build
up because most of the times we just know people
are bad because they tell us they bad. But to
see it it makes you be like, yes, that had
to happen. You had to happen.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
And then that's why the First Order was a big
threat because we got that dealing with the Empire.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
We were like, we don't want to stroll.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
We just got rid of all this and they're gonna
come back. No, bro, we gotta ice this.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
And then they were even more in your faith about
that the even more in your faith about the fascism.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
They were like they weren't at all. I was like.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
That, look like.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
See a man like the Becher said, if you love
the politics and Star Wars, which the older audience, the guy,
the people you know for our age and our generation
have grown to appreciate the politics, boy, because we have
to deal with it in the real world, so.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
We understand mirror.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
I'm telling you it's mirror what's happening, which is very sad.
But yeah, if definitely check it out, even if you
have your dislikes. No lett tell us what you didn't like.
If you think they're trying to be too real, which
I don't understand because Star Wars.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Star Wars was based off of but I recommend it.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Great storytelling, great acting, sets. Look, the set production is
really good. Shout out to the people in the art department.
I know y'all be killing it. I have to shout
out to my peoples because I used to work in
that department. But everything about this show is all coming
like full circle and it's I think it's gonna be

(35:03):
wrapped up and the bo is gonna be put on
that it's gonna be real good, and.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
They're gonna sell it.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
They're satisfying the customers because we are the customers.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Yeah, it's been great.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
And back on your thing about it being too real,
It's always been real, like even episode one, two and three.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
We're real.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
We just didn't understand the politics of a kid. When
you're an adult and you started watching you like, oh, man.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
I get it. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
I was like, man, I can see how Man, I
can see how man can go to the dark side.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Now like I get it, man.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
So, by the way, celebrating twenty years of Revenge of
the Sith Man, definitely we have something coming for y'all
with that too. So we gotta celebrate with our viewers
because y'all been with us four years, so we gotta
celebrate twenty years. And then, like you said, May the four,
So this is a big week for Star Wars fans.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
So yeah, we trying to celebrate with us. Yeah. But
than that thing, do you got anything else?

Speaker 1 (36:00):
We think we wrapped that up in a tight bo
With that being said, you know what time it is.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
It's time for the shameless promotion.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Oh my gosh, we were visited by the Fifth Lord himself.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Man, what up? Sometime man come out of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
He came in and dropped that in there. That would
shout you out, but you're part of the evil people.
If I ain't gonna shout you out. Now.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
