I really want you guys to understandwho's here your stuff there, listen,
Ebany, thank you for coming upto the show. Can you please introduce
yourself to my audience over to you. Hello, my name is Ebanie Baker.
I am known as a commercial mortgagebroker. I'm out here in so
Can Washington. I am oh,I have to start all the way over.
(01:51):
I got so nervous. Nah,you good, keep going. So
this is what we do, right, Tell people what you do, Tell
people where you're from, and howyou get down and what you get and
what you're getting into for this year. Let's get it all right? Thank
you? All right, let mestart that over. My name is Ebanie
Baker. I am known as acommercial mortgage broker because I specialize in being
(02:13):
a problem solver and I have achievedmaximizing goal. Now that I'm up to
yes, it is building generational wealthfor my family and I and the key
to success is having determinations discipline inadding that value. I grew up in
Sookam, Washington. I'm a proudmother and grandmother, which has pushed me
(02:34):
out of my comfort zone to becomemy very own boss and THEEO president of
my business. I'm also here. You know what else I want to ask
you to what is team What doesteamwork mean to you? Collaboration, teamwork,
Let's get into it. Team work. Teamwork is huge because if you
don't have a team, you're slowto the process, which can hold you
(02:58):
back and slow you down. Soteamwork to me is just reaching out to
other like minded people, expressing yourgoals and your values and getting that feedback
and everybody wanting to dive in.That's what it's about. Having everybody wanting
to dive in be a part ofeverything. Next question, collaboration. How
(03:23):
do you use collaboration in your fieldtoday? Collabing? Collabing is hues right
now because right now I am learningsocial media and all of that kind of
stuff. Like I know, Ican hunt and text, so I've really
had to collaborate and reach out toa few different people who know how to
(03:44):
market and add value to their workand the things that they do. And
I'm not afraid to ask for helpdoing it. And that's what it's about,
asking for help. You're always goingto get to the next level.
When you ask for help, yousay, you know what, I don't
have it figured out. Let medive in to see how I can get
more help. Now, my nextquestion for you is innovation. How will
(04:05):
you using you know, today's technologyor trends to stay above them or to
be innovative today? Over to you? Okay, thank you. To be
innovative to me right now was numberone to reach out to Stack because I've
heard of him in several different roomsand followed him on social media and very
(04:25):
live conversations happening. And I amlooking for things that will innovate me and
move me to the next level. Why I chose to be on the podcast
today, Nah, I love thatand the fact that you can come up
here talk that believing. Now,what is belief you know mean to you?
(04:45):
I know, you know a lotof people use this in this in
their business maybe manifest and belief, but what does that actually mean to you?
Belief, believing in the journey andthe goal. Let's get into it.
To me is believing in myself andknowing that I can do this on
my own, and also believing thatI can reach out to other people who
(05:10):
can help me get to the nextlevel. So I know that I'm a
pretty independent person and I try toalways do a lot of the stuff on
my own, but I know Iwas falling into that crashing zone and I
was like, I don't know ifI'm gonna make it here. I need
help. So that's when I startedreaching out and believing that I can do
this, and I can do thiswith help from other people. And you
(05:31):
can always get more help from differentpeople. It's all about you know,
because I feel like closed mouths don'tget fed. If you don't say anything,
you're not gonna get any help.So definitely reach out, Definitely look
for help. Definitely do that. All right, now, where do you
see yourself in your business in thenext five years? Let's tap in and
tell the audience. What do yousee yourself in the next five years.
(05:54):
Let's get into absolutely So within thenext five years with my business, I
do have the option to not haveany employees and or have an abundance employees
all run in ten ninety nine andso I was really thinking that I was
going to keep it a small business. But I have decided to step out
(06:16):
of the branch and expand my horizonsand over the next five years build a
huge generational operating operating firm for myfamily and really just building and diving in
as a commercial broker being and aimingfor the sky and making those millions for
(06:40):
my team. No, of course, you've got to do stuff for the
team, right, I'm telling you. It's bigger than just you just as
as a huge goal and it's theteam, right, all right? Do
you remember a chime where you hadto, you know, really really really
really really say, you know, just all in, I want to do
this. Do you remember it timewere it just clicked for you and you
(07:00):
were like, this is what Iwant to do and I'm gonna just go
all in. Can you tell usa little bit about that? Absolutely?
So, I know last year Ireally dived in and really gave it my
all to start building in business mindsetformation and ended up giving everything that I
had to somebody who took me foreverything that I had. So I really
(07:25):
had to like pop my break, slow it down, reconsider what I was
doing and where I was going. And so I really had to identify with
what I was doing. And that'swhen I go all the way in to
open up my business as a commercialmargins broker. And that's what you're supposed
(07:46):
to do. Dive all the wayin, believe in the journey, not
turn back right all right? Isthis something that you wish you would have
known on the journey that you knowright now that you wish somebody could have
told you so you can avoid certainthings. Let's get into it. Absolutely.
So. My biggest thing is thatI trust way too many people,
(08:07):
and then I start listening to whatthey have to say. And what I
need to do is listen to themore they talk, knowing that it is
probably going to steer me in adirection that may or may not be good
for me. So to listen towhat these people are really staying and paying
attention to where I'm going in myjourney, and just really use my gut
(08:30):
instinct exactly. It's always the gutinstinct. Right, If it don't feel
right, do not do it.Is there anything new that you're going to
be doing this year that you wantto highlight any new projects, any new
collaborations, any new things that youwant to highlight for the audience. Absolutely,
(08:50):
So this year I'm diving into learningabout ebooks and digital products. So
absolutely timing in with the girls inclub house, learning about digital products,
learning how to sell my money thatI'm working on, and just really diving
in as an entrepreneur and wearing thedifferent journeys that I'm able to do.
(09:11):
Well, wait till you see thisroom this week about crypto and how you
can make passive income with cryptocurrency yourdigital assets. We got a room on
Wednesday that's gonna be epic. It'sgonna be in the Bitcoin Basic Club.
We'll be talking about, you know, crypto wallets and how to protect your
digital assets. So that's going tobe an add on into the digital products.
(09:33):
Are you? Are you always lookingto be culchable? What does being
coachable mean to you? Before weget up out of here, what is
coachable? Being coachable? Being openminded? You know what I mean?
Because if you're not open minded toanything, how you're going to get to
the next level. So talk aboutopen minded, this being coachable. Let's
get into it. Absolutely, beingcoachable is you got to have an open
(09:58):
mind. You got to listen tofeedback. You got to be open to
listening to the even if it's thenegative feedback. You got to be open
and listen to it, collaborate withit, build from it, learn from
it, and grow from it andkeep going. That's the biggest thing is
to just keep going because I knowright now I'm building content and it's not
easy. But I keep going. And the more I tune in and chime
(10:22):
into any chance I can get tolearning, I know the next content is
going to be a little bit better. So my motto is to keep going
right now. I love that.Let's continue to dive in. Can you
please tell them what to follow youout on Instagram, how they can get
in tune with you, and howthey can you know, basically connect with
(10:43):
you office podet get into that.Yes, absolutely, you guys. You
guys can connect with me on Instagramat a any Baker For you guys connect
with me at Facebook E any Baker, and you can also connect with me
my business at ww dot elite businalumsdot com. Thank you very much,
(11:07):
Please tap in Emanie Baker. Weappreciate you for coming up on the podcast
because it's about the important voices right, important voices that come on that have
a message in the story. Onelast question, what does a story mean
to you? Telling your story? We got about two minutes, so over
to you about a story. Let'stalk about it. Absolutely, I got
(11:28):
a story to tell you, guys. I am a single mother of five
and I have a grandmother. I'ma grandmother of eight, and it has
not been easy coming from where Ihave came from, losing my father in
the mix of trying to grow myfamily group, going turmoil, doing so
many different things, just trying toget it. So this year I planted
(11:52):
my seed. I sat it down, I am striving on it and I
am growing from it, and itis just time to do. I am
slous, not run, and tokeep going. That's what it's about,
not sitting down, keep going.Look, Ebonye, I can't wait to

media aspects to help you continue onyour journey. Thank you for coming up
