Time now for another visit with a story. Lady.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hello, boys and girls. To day we're going to hear
this story. I call the greatest genie in the world.
Once upon a time there was a very poor little
boy who was playing around the ruins of an old,
abandoned castle. As he played, he came across an old,
tarnished lamp. He took the lamp and picked it up
and rubbed it to remove some of the tarnish. Suddenly

there was a puff of red smoke, and a great
genie stood before him.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Who are you, asked the boy, I, he said, am
the greatest.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Genie in the world. I can create castles and nations,
and gold and silver and jewels. I can conjure up
elephants and armies and all the animals.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
In the world.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I can control the seas and the clouds.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I can move mountains and bring forth islands from the sea.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
And you have freed me from my lamp.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Kind boy, oh, said the boy, And are you going
to grant me three wishes? And the genie said no,
I'm going to Burbank and get a job with Warner
Brother's Special Apartment.
