KEP pen and today we're talking about Bucky Badger. Bucky
Badger is the beloved mascot of the University of Wisconsin Madison,
and he has been rallying fans since nineteen forty. Originally
just a live badger on a leash, which shockingly didn't

go well, Bucky evolved into a costumed character by nineteen
forty nine. His full name get this is Buckingham You Badger,
and it was chosen in a campus wide naming contest.
With his iconic striped sweater and constant scow, Bucky represents
the fierce yet fun spirit of the Badgers. Over the decades,

He's danced, pushed up, and even brawled his way into
college mascot legend. Today, Bucky isn't just a mascot. He's
a Wisconsin institution with a mean mug and areas school prod.
