along with some Ovia. HETHO who'strying to tell me this is my event
man, And I'm doing this forthe free, for the fighters. Yeah,

event calling yours And you didn't putfifty cents in the man, Yeah,
you had a good thing about Allthat is is it's just part of the
process and part of the experiences. You know, when there's a boat coming

here's you know, we're all aboutaction around here. You know, we're
not all about Humble Jumbo or MickeyMouse games. You know, it's all

(07:36):
business and and and and furthermore, you know, it's all about the USA.
Man, it's all about community. So speaking on that right now,
DJ brown Side, we're gonna gointo some Latin hip hop mix it with
a little bit to Hondo, alittle bit of Selena, Kumbia Kings,

lot on this podcast. I'm herewith DJ Brownside, Ak Louis almost nas
kiss almost I kiss almost. Solet me let me ask you. Let

(11:09):
me ask you a quick question.Where do you live now? Man?
And what do you want to do? I know you met Frank cordethego with
lou Lac. He's like the regionalpresident for that area. But do you
have something like playing in the futureman for your own because you got a
large area man, Flugerville, RoundRock and Georgetown, that's like a mecca.
Man. Oh yes, sir,it's it's been. It's been transformation

(11:35):
coming out from the big city ofAustin. As we see high rises and
we see you know, Californian stylebeing moved into this southern hospitality environment called
Austin. You know, it's nolonger that Austin field, that southern hospitality.
It's like someone just threw a grenadeand kicks all out on the outskirts.
So here we are on the outskirts, and well, I look,

(11:58):
as you know, you met youmake the best of it. And uh
you observe and you see where thecities and these towns lack at uh as
far as events and as far asentertainment. And I feel that with the
envisionn of of of concerts and communityevents and everything, I think we'll be
able to stir a pot again. And and mixes up with some good old

(12:20):
Minuto you saying oh yeah, yeah, And uh, I've been with with
in contact with Lou Lac and andso forth, and and uh, I'm
I'm going to announce that we'll beopening up a chapter here in Slugarville.
Good as far as lu lac andand and uh and a very big thank
you to you for for leading mein that direction and and connected me to

(12:43):
the people. Uh Ah, youwelcome brother, so as you welcome louis
my pleasure. And he comes downto unity because I was the last time
I went to Austin Man. Iremember somebody in Man. Have you been
out to round Rock in Flugerville?Because I used to have a a show
that I was on called The LatinConnection with Tony T. Tony to Foy
DJ Tony T, who's a youngguys his dad on the station. He

(13:07):
goes, I just want to doone thing. Hey, I got eleven
year old son, and I wanthim to be on the station with you.
I said, okay, man,no problem. I've never been around
somebody that young, because back thenat that point I was fifteen sixteen,
you know. But Tony T wasin. It was in Round Rock.
It was a k R G Tand Tony T. You're letting hip hop

(13:28):
connection, and it was every Saturday. Man, I was shocked how many
people started listening. Yeah, andof course from there we went to KZ
and we were always on ACTV.Oh yeah, the dances at South Austin
Rack and then all the good olddays, man, and from Games Galaxy

(13:48):
to UH Sports Park to Club Miamito all oh. Man, yeah,
you know if you know, youknow, oh yeah, it's it's crazy
you you talk about that because youknow, not too many people and I
cut on my hands that I canhold a conversation from back in the day,
and you hear, oh that wasback in the day. Oh that

(14:09):
was decades ago. The fact ofthe matter is that everything got lost.
That's since that stuff got stopped, you know. And don't forget when they
say they're not they're not like us. They're not what it is is they're
not built like us. They're not. That's because we definitely come from a
different top fabric, you know. But that's that's that's just exciting to know

(14:35):
that we're we're in the process ofmoving forward and UH and and producing these
these events uh here in the UHin the Austin and surrounding areas Floudville,
round Rock, Kyle Butt up.And while we're on the subject of Austin
and go through that, I gotto say this, Brown said, because
I keep seeing it every time Ivisit Austin. Young people, man,

(14:58):
if you're out there, I betyou please try to hang on to the
Colthuda. I met a guy ata bar man he must have been twenty
two to twenty three. I thinkit was somebody's little brother or stepbrother,
and said, hey, what's upman? Comostops. He goes, oh,
excuse me, And this is aChicano guy, Mexican American born in
South Side or East Side. Hegoes, oh, excuse me, a
migo. I don't speak Spanish.I said, what's your name? Because

(15:22):
they call me one Salazar. Isaid, wait a minute, bro,
you mean one Salasada. He goes, well, I don't. I don't
like I said, I don't speakSpanish. Man, you know, I
go out with this. I said, Okay, that's cool, brother,
but uh, I mean, youknow, to each his own brother,
but try to please try to tryto follow your colotuda as much as you

(15:43):
can, because you got a richculture man, and you know, try
trying to, you know, badgeryour own God give a name. I
thought, I don't expect everybody tospeak Spanish, but Jesus like me going
around saying yeah, my name isAbe co texts. People would look at
me like, what the hell, knowing that that's not you know, come
on, bro, I'm just sayingevery time I've seen Austin work, I

(16:06):
mean when you say that has Texas, that's rich culture. Man. Don't
get me wrong. Where I expectthat ship over here where I live in
Washington. I mean ship you runinto Chicane's here and you're like, well,
like Alma says, oh, I'msorry, I never learned Spanish.
I said, oh, kid,but I'm just telling you what's up man.
I don't really dig into that.I'm thinking, all right, man,

(16:26):
you know, I just I'm sorry, Brown said, I had to
say that, man, Yeah, the game have changed. You know what
I observed these days, it's likeit's like, oh man, you know,
this young generation has a tough youknow, the next couple of years,
in the next decade or so,even beyond past our time. You
know, they're going to have atough and these people are going to realize

(16:51):
that, you know it should haveheld on to that culture. That's all.
That's that's that's what it's all about. Man. You know, family,
immediate, yeah, no matter itwas, you know, your neighbor.
You know, you see at oskastruggling with a flat tire, pull
over and stop. You see someoneof the heap of the heath of pushing
a basket, pull over, stopsunking, you know anything. You know.

(17:15):
Uh, And there's where the younggeneration lacks in the sense of,
you know, trying to keep itstrong and trying to keep it narrowing and
stay true to their roots instead ofyou know, the biggest weapon we have,
ene mean, we have is thesocial media. And everybody wants to
be a rapper, everybody wants tobe a YouTuber, everybody, you know,
they forget the fundamentals of sticking toyour roots and staying grounded and humble.

(17:41):
Everybody is ready to make that quickcash and their soul and sell their
their culture for a culture that's noteven theirs, you know. Yeah,
And don't get me wrong, man, I got to be real when I
say this. But we were setup to do that thing on the twenty
seventh. Man, But I'm sorry. We try to have to stick with
our uncle Duda on familiar or onculture, uh, swimming and some fast

(18:03):
lands and all that and wearing goldteeth. And then I try to say,
how to you go? Hold onmeg Colmost time, I'm like,
uh, bro, I said,And I had to tell him and be
like, hey, if I thought, can I can I be real with
you? I said, look, man, I don't know how to say
this to you. You might haveto beleeve this bill, no matter how
hard you try to act like somebodyelse to still look at you as a

(18:26):
Mexican bro. Oh yeah, Andhe goes, I don't I don't relate
to that. I said, Bro, you were born you're darker than me.
If I thought you know you couldtell it bothered him. Man,
He goes, I don't like allthat, man, I said, do
me a favorite. Man, canyou say ideas? I said, Peche,
Come on, man, how'd yousay another another negative anthem? Like

(18:49):
I told you earlier? You know, strengthen numbers. Man. You know,
if if we if we keep preaching, you know, uh, doing
these events, in these community gatheringsand stuff. You know, they're being
a sense of like, oh man, what's going on here? Hey?
By the way, but by theway, before we forgive, before I

(19:11):
forget, man, I said,I want to say, what's up to
restore Santa Julia? The Catholic churcheswhere I grew up because as a kid,
they really helped me. Follow along. I'm sure you got Is there
a Catholic church over there in roundRocket Fluggerville? Oh yeah, yeah,
that really helped me. Man withMichael Thudo with the hymiaicas and events and

(19:36):
I mean interview brown Side. Butlook while we're at it, because I
don't want people to turn. Butlet's go ahead and go into some more

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
