Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I'm going to start with the study. But keep
in mind you will notice that the Book of Proverbs
is a whole bunch of different insights, a whole bunch
of different sayings, riddles, corrections, what have you, so many
different things. Keep in mind that the entire book is

(00:24):
broken down into sections, So if you go into Proverbs ten,
you will not see a topic on just one thing.
You will see different sections broken down into different topics, subjects,
and so forth.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
We may not even go through the entire chapter.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
There's so much that we can get from this chapter.
So if you can just get a couple versus that
is okay too. You can always come back. But I'm
going to try to do all of them. We will
see how it goes, but we will try to do that.
Hi Wiki, thank you for joining SOBS.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Chapter ten.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
It starts with a wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. Right, So,
when the mother is raising her children, she's teaching, she
is training, she is.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Developing them in the principles of God.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
She teaches them how to talk, she teaches them how
to behave, and so forth. Right, a wise son will
bring joy to his father, because he will be well established.
He will go on in life, he will be good
in his career, with his with his relationships, and possibly
be married, possibly have children, possibly have a good job, career.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
And so forth.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
And so the mother will not have to worry so
much about that son. She will not have to worry
about that daughter that is well established. But a foolish
son brings grief to his mother. So a foolish son
may make mistakes. Foolish son may may be in jail.
My foolish son may be on a street a homeless person.

(02:01):
A foolish son may may be entertaining the world and
not paying attention to the UH, to the wise insights
that he should have been paid attention to. A foolish
son will keep the father on his toes. And I
can relate to this because or a foolish daughter will
keep her father on her toes, because I remember this,

(02:23):
keeping my father up at late at night as I
was out and about, and now I realized that this
was a foolish thing. I should have not been doing this.
I should have not been out there UH doing foolish things.
I should have been at home sleeping, And so forth,
But at a time I was not wise, I was
not listening, I was rebellious, I was pride full, I

(02:46):
was arrogant, and so at a time I definitely caused
grief to my mother.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
And my father. So I can totally testify with Solomon here.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
What Solomon is saying is that a wise son will
bring joy to his father, but a foolish son will
bring grief to his mother. And that is the truth,
because the both of them will bring different type of
benefit to their life. And so this is just a
section one. I'm gonna go into verse two. I call

(03:17):
it section two because they are broken down into sections.
Ill Gotten treasures have no lessing value, but righteousness delivers
from death. This is ill gotten treasures are those treasures
that you have.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Gained through deceit, through falsehood.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
You have gained things in your life, whether it be
material possessions, or anything else in your life through ill
gotten gain. And so these ill gotten treasures that you
have gathered for yourself have no lessing value. They're not
going to they're not going to be valuable to you
because they're probably going to bring destruction in your life.

(04:01):
But righteousness delivers from death. Remember righteousness does not always
feel good. Remember, righteousness does not always sound good. But
it will deliver you from destruction. It will deliver you
from death. And so that's verse two. You can gain
so much more as you are studying the Word. Every
time that I come into the world of God, I
can get so much revelation from it. So it's not

(04:25):
always just one thing. There's just so much, so much
well of wisdom in just one little chapter or in
just one little verse of the Bible. The Lord does
not let the righteous go hungry, but he towards the
craving of the wicked. Right here, this is a promise.

(04:46):
The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry. He
will supply their need. He will supply their desires. He
will give them and provide for them, and make sure
that they are not hungry. But the evil ones he
or the wicked ones, or the foolish ones. Solomon is
saying that he towards the craving of the wicked. That

(05:10):
simply means that they are never satisfied. Even if they
are fed, well fed, even if they've already gotten whatever
it is that they needed to get, they still crave more.
They want more and more and more, more, And so
if you are one of those that wants to continue
to want more and more and more, you must turn
around in your actions and be content, because the evil

(05:31):
ones want more, more and more more, And you don't
want to find yourself in a place of the wicked.
Foolishness will bring you to destruction, So you have to
be very careful.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Verse four.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.
Diligent hands are hands there are about work. They're always
doing something. They're always about work. They're always making, creating,
They're always about doing things to benefit themselves. They are
always about creating wealth for themselves and so forth. But

(06:09):
the lazy hands they make for poverty. They they they
always want an easy way out. They want things on
the platter. So let's keep in mind that we are
not ones who have lazy hands, That we are not
the ones who are out there just seeking for give, give, give,
and not returning anything in return. But as Solomon is saying,

(06:36):
diligent hands bring wealth. So we are to be about
our father's business. We are to be about business. We
are to be diligent in our affairs and everything that
we do. So this section we go to verse five,
and if you have a Bible, you can grab a
bible and study along with me. Or if you are

(06:58):
just listening you are going about your day, that's okay too.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
You can always come back.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I like to just listen to a study and then
come back and study for myself. I like to go
even deeper. My desires that you will go into the
scripture even deeper so that you can gain that knowledge
and wisdom of God. And remember, wisdom is not always
the wisdom of this world. This wisdom that Solomon is

(07:26):
talking about is wisdom that comes from above. It is
not the wisdom of this world. He who gathers crops
in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps
during harvest is a disgraceful son. So another one that
focuses on the an indeligence of working hard. He who

(07:49):
gathers crops in summer is a prudent son. So there
is a season in your life and you have to
recognize this season. This season is a summer season where
you can gather things. Right, So if you are in
a season of summer, you are to be out there
gathering your crops. You are not to be out there

(08:10):
and doing something else, because when a certain another season comes,
you won't be able to get your harvest. And so
this is what Solomon is talking about here. But he
who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful sun. If it's
harvest time, you got to be out there gathering your harvest.
You can't just let that harvest be out there. You

(08:31):
have worked so hard for your harvest. Why would you
let somebody take your harvest. Why would you let somebody
ruin your field. You are to be out there during
harvest time and gathering your crops. And that's what Solomon
is talking about here. This is just a section. This
is just a section. There's so much more that you

(08:52):
can get. Let's go to verse six. So this is
another section. Let's keep in mind, blessings crown the head
of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
So these are wise insights that Solomon is sharing. And
if you apply these wise insights, whether it's to your marriage,

(09:16):
or whether it's to your relationship, or to your parenthood,
whatever area in your life, if you apply these wise
insights wise, this wise counsel, you will receive a benefit
from it. So This is what the Book of Proverbs
is made available for, so that you can learn from
the wise. He's the Solomon, was the wisest man to

(09:38):
ever live, and so he is offering this advice. And
I'm privileged an honor to be able to even present
this topic to you. Privilege and honor to be able
to teach you on this particular book. This is one
of my favorite books in the Bible, favorite books in
the Bible, And so I like to always go back
and study further and even dissect further so that I

(10:00):
can even make this available to others. So the blessings
crown the head of the righteous. That means the righteous
are always blessed, the righteous are always prospering, the righteous
are always excelling in things. But violence overwhelms the mouth
of the wicked. So violence comes to those who are wicked,
to those who are foolish, to those who are arrogant,

(10:22):
to those who are prideful. The name of the righteous
is used in blessing, but the name of the wicked
will rot. So this is the integrity of your name.
This is talking about the integrity of your name. Verse seven.
The name of the righteous is used in blessings, but
the name of the wicked will rot. So the name
of the wicked will not be well established. The name

(10:45):
of the wicked will kind of die out with its name,
but the name of the righteous will continue to excel
and be prosperous.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Verse nine. It's one of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Actually, there are so many, so many verses here that
we can get, but this particular one.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Is very, very very Uh how can I say one
of my favorites? Verse nine.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely. Okay, So we talked
about integrity. If you would like to be part of
Ignite Mentorship, you can also request for Ignite Mentorship where
I talk about these topics and integrity, wisdom and so much,
so many different other topics that you can gain for

(11:40):
your journey. And so right here he's talking about integrity.
He's talking about the ways of the honest, the ways
of those who are walking in the principles.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Of the Lord, the ways of those.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Who are compassionate, those who are trustworthy. Integrity doesn't just
come to anyone. Integrity is earned as we are walking
in the fruit of the spirit. Whoever walks in integrity
walks securely. Because if you are honest in your ways,
if you are trustworthy, you will walk securely. But whoever

(12:18):
takes crooked path.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Will be found out.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
And this talking about dishonesty. If you are lying, cheating, stealing,
if you are getting things.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Out of this seat, if you are like verse.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
I believe two says ill gotten treasures, if you are
continuing to get that ill gotten treasures, that you will
be found out.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
The crooked path will always be found out. That the
wrong path.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
You may be stealing, You may be hiding right now,
but in time you will be found out. In time,
it will come to light. So wisdom is saying walk
with integrity, walk in integrity, that way you will be secure.
But if you are walking in a way of deceitfulness, dishonesty,
you will be found out.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Verse ten.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Another section. There's so many different insights that I can offer.
Whoever winks maliciously causes grief and a chattering fool comes
to rumin. You gotta watch your mouth. You gotta watch
your mouth. What it is that you say, Be careful.
Whoever winks maliciously like do this. I'm you know, nobody's

(13:32):
gonna see it. It's okay, go ahead, run do this,
and whoever is even, I would say the world would be.
Whoever is even compelling you to do wrong, they will
be found out. So don't pay attention to those who

(13:54):
are compelling you.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
To do wrong versus.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. The mouth
of the righteous is a fountain of life. So whatever
it is that they say, it's always going to be good,
it's always going to be beneficial, it is always going
to be to your benefit. But the mouth of the
wicked conceals violence. So that simply means the mouth of

(14:25):
the wicked will gossip, slender, talk bad and bring you destruction,
talk negatively, and so forth. So we have to be
very careful who it is that we're listening to, and
that we are not the ones who spread gossip, or
we are not the ones who are spreading maliciousness around us.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
We have to be careful too.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
So many good, so many good insights here. Hatred stirs
up conflict, but love covers all wrong. Mhm. Hatred it's
talked all over, all over, all over. Hatred is mentioned
all over the Bible. It stirs up conflict, but love

(15:14):
covers all wrong.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Walk in a way of love. Walk in the way
of love.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
That's Corinthians, chapter thirteen.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I believe. Let me see.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
So if you're even study tip right here, if you
feel led to go to a certain scripture, go ahead
and do that. Go ahead into that scripture, and possibly
you're going to get something else out of it. So actually, yes,
let me see. I'm in the Bible now, So if you,

(15:47):
if you would like to also also go into the Bible.
First Corinthians, chapter fourteen. Follow that verse one. Follow the
way of love, and that's what it's talking about here.
Follow the way of love. Love covers all wrong.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
What is love?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Love is patience, Love is kindness. Love does not envy,
does not boast. It's not proud, does not this on
there others. It is not self seeking, It is not
easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong. Love does
not delight in evil, but rejoices with truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

(16:30):
And that's simply first Garanthians thirteen, Versus four to eight.
Go ahead and also check it out. Anytime that you
see love in the Bible. That is what it's talking about.
That type of love. It's not the love of this world.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
This is a love that is patient, Love that is kind,
Love does not envy, does not boast, that is not proud.
I can even check myself to this standard of love,
and I can still grow. There's a still a lot
of areas that I could say I still need growth here.
I still need to be more patient, I still need
to be more loving. I still got to be more kind,
and so forth. And so we are to continue to

(17:10):
grow and develop in all things. And as as Solomon
is saying, cover all types of matters with love, because
love covers all wrongs. Let's go to verse thirteen. Wisdom
is found on the lips of the discerning, But a

(17:32):
rod is for the back of the one who has
no sense. That's talking about discipline, that's talking about consequences,
it's talking about that wisdom that is not of this world.
And it is found on the lips of discerning those

(17:53):
that know right from evil, those that know what's moral
and what's not, those that value, those that are are
walking in the ways of the Lord. But a rod
is for the back of those who have no sense,
and that simply talking talks about the foolish, foolish, they
just they just uh, don't even realize it sometimes.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Because like if I go back to my days.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Of youth, and I could think, you know, of the ways,
Sometimes we don't even think about what it is that
we're doing. We're simply guided by full by folly. We're
simply guided by the foolish.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Just ways of the world.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
And so a lot of times, a lot of times
the foolish don't even realize that they are walking this pathway.
And so if you have found yourself to be one
who is described here in the Book of Proverbs, turn
around in your actions, because it's leading you away from
where where God wants to take you. Verse fourteen. The

(19:00):
wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of full invites ruin.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
So that simply means that the.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Wise, they store up knowledge, they meditate upon it, they
continue to store up the understanding and so forth, but
the mouth of a full invites ruin. They talk a lot, foolish,
they talk a lot, but they don't realize that what
they're saying sometimes does not bring any kind of benefit

(19:30):
or any kind of value.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Fifteen. The wealth of.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
The rich is their fortified city. But poverty is the
ruin of the poor. So these are also insides of
the wise, insides of wise Solomon.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
This is also invites of the wise.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Right here, I'm gonna take a second, Okay, So the
wealth of the rich is their fortified city. They think
they they are protected as long as they're wealthy there
or protected, but they don't realize that even that wealth

(20:18):
can be taken from them. Just you know, in one
day you can you can become sick, and one day
you can lose a lot of things. And so don't
ever put put your trust in the wealth of this
world because it can bring you poverty, it can bring

(20:39):
you ruin, right, And so we have to also pay
attention to these wise insights. There's so many I can
even I can't even just explain. There's so much that
you can gain out of it. But so so, my
my whole desire is for you to go into the
scripture and to study the word, to show yourself proved.

(21:00):
My whole desire is to ignite your soul's desire, your
soul's desire, so that you can also study for yourself,
not just listen to me, not just study with me,
but you can also study for yourself and gain this
knowledge that is available to you. Gain this knowledge that
the Lord is ready to delight to pour out pour

(21:22):
out upon you, so that you can also, if you wish,
share with others. This is why I have a website
firestarterignite dot com. I share a wealth of information, a
wealth of knowledge to the people surrounding me, because the
Lord is blessing me, so I in return bless others.
If you have not had a chance to check it out,

(21:43):
I encourage you to check it out firestarterignite dot com.
So the next verse, let's see, whoever heeds discipline shows
the way to life. Wait, no, no, I skip sixteen.
The wages of the righteous it's life, but the earnings wages.

(22:06):
So it's talking about the earnings. But the earnings of
the wicked are sin and death. So this is also
talking about another type of wisdom right here. When you
get a chance, check it out. It is such a
powerful wise insight. I'm going to jump into seventeen as
I'm being led. Whoever heats discipline shows the way to life,

(22:28):
but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. We have to
be careful. Somebody speaks, we have to listen. We have
to listen. We have to listen because discipline will bring
us to a better place. A lot of times people
don't like discipline. They don't realize that discipline will bring
you to a better place. Discipline, a ward of correction,

(22:49):
will will guide you in a different direction and a
better direction.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
And so.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Have your ears open. Have your ears open, because wisdom
is speaking. Wisdom is out there calling on others to.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Come and join her. But remember, folly.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Is also out there, the foolish, the foolish woman. Folly
is also out there calling on to the passerbys. Verse eighteen.
Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spread slender is

(23:31):
a fool.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
That right, there is another one.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spread slender is
a fool. So if you heard something, you heard something,
don't continue to spread it so the other skin continue to.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Grow that which started. Shut it down.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
You know, if you heard somebody talk about somebody, say no,
if you didn't hear it, where did you hear it.
If you didn't hear if it's not truth, if it's
not beneficial, if it's not honest. You don't know what
you're talking about. And sometimes it's actually difficult to be
the one that comes into the fire. And I just
talked about this, it's actually very difficult to be one

(24:14):
who confronts.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
But if you are.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Wise, the Lord will lead you. The Lord will lead
you how to say things, and the Lord will lead
you how to handle this matter. But you also have
to be strong as well. You cannot be weak and
try to go into the kitchen where the fire is
going on. Right, you got to get out of the kitchen.
Get out of the kitchen. Come on, come on, come on.
So whoever conceals hatred with line lips and spread slender

(24:41):
is a full verse eighteen nineteen. Sin is not ended
by multiplying words. But the prudent hold their tongue. So
the prudent, those are wise, they hold their tongues. They
are careful about what it is they're going to say.
They're not going to talk much. They're sometimes going to listen.
They're going to obs deserve, and then they will speak

(25:04):
with wisdom, speak from a place of understanding. A lot
of times the foolish like to talk, talk, talk, but
what comes out of their mouth is foolishness.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
We have to be careful.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
The song of the righteous is choice silver, but the
heart of the wicked is of little value.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Now remember when.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Solomon speaks, he doesn't speak.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Of the wisdom of this world.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
So when you go into the Book of Proverbs, you
you better be ready for this type of wisdom. It's
not the type of wisdom that you can receive in
this world. This wisdom is going to prick prick you.
And this wisdom is definitely going to encourage you, is
going to compel you, ignite your soul, you know, to
do better. Uh, if you listen, if you walk in

(25:46):
the way of the righteous, if you follow the why,
the wise insights and wise counsel of wisdom, you will
be better off.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
And so keep that in mind.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die
for lack of sense. Now there's a comparison of the
wise versus foolish. The lips of the righteous nourish many,
but fools die for lack of sense. So let's keep
that in mind as well. The blessing of the Lord
brings wealth without painful toil for it. So if you're

(26:24):
blessed the Lord will give you creativity, do do things
the way that you never expected to do. The Lord
will always provide a way out for you. The Lord
will always make a way for you where you didn't
even think you could go that way. But he is
making a way out for you where others have walked
and failed. You are the ones that are walking on
top of it. So keep in mind, if you are wise,

(26:46):
and you're walking with wise, which is the God who
is your counselor and counsel, that he will show you
all things. A fool finds pleasure in wicked schemes, but
a person of understanding the lights in wisdom. A fool
finds pleasure in wicked schemes, so he's out there scheming,

(27:08):
he's out there planning, he's out there strategizing, manipulating, and
so forth. But a person of understanding the lights and wisdom.
So if you are one to the light in deceitfulness dishonesty,
turn away from that way because that way is going
to lead you into destructions. So be wise in your

(27:31):
matters and how you do things.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Twenty four.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
What the wicked dread will overtake them, but what the
righteous desire will be granted God gives you the desires
of your heart. God gives you the desires of your heart.
Sometimes our desires is not God's will for our lives,
so we have to check our desires as well. What
the wicked dread will overtake them. So what the wicked

(27:58):
fear dread is another word for it, what they fear
will come upon them, and what the righteous desire will
be granted. Now, a lot of these insights are not
going to be the exact outcome as Solomon is saying,
because these are simply insights that are taken from Solomon's life.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
He's sharing.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
It's like me sharing your wisdom from my own life.
It doesn't mean that you know that what I.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Do is going to benefit you.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
You have to take what I say and then measure
it to your own standards. You can't just be foolish
and you know like, oh, you do this, I don't
know how to do it, but I'll do it too.
You know you don't want to do that, so you
want to be wise as well. If this is not you,
if you're not capable to do that, then don't try.
You know, you gotta be wise, So let's be wise.

(28:52):
What the wicked when the storm has swept by, the
wicked are gone. When the storm has swept by, the
wick are gone. But the righteous stand firm forever. So
the righteous are always protected, they are always safe, They
are always they are always they always find refuge. But
the wicked run in another direction. When when the storm comes,

(29:17):
the wicked are nowhere to be found. The evil, the
foolish are nowhere to be found. So let's keep that
in mind. As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to
the eyes, so are sluggards to those who send them.
So this is another Wise inside Wise inside. He is
illustrating a condiment from a kitchen, and Solomon, Solomon knows

(29:44):
what he's talking about. When he is sharing this wise insight,
he is speaking to the audience and saying, this is
the outcome.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
This is the outcome, twenty.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
Seve and we're almost there. Thank you, thank you for
staying here this long. We're almost there. The fear of
the Lord adds length to life, but the years of
the wicked are cut short. The fear of the Lord
adds length to life, but the years of the wicked
are cut short. And that's simply because when you are wise,
you are making wise decisions. When you're foolish, your years

(30:22):
are caught. You're making it cut short, you are making
foolish You are making foolish decisions. And therefore this is
why this type of insight is applied here twenty eight
verse twenty eight. The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. The

(30:44):
prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of
the wicked come to nothing. So right here another wise insight.
I encourage you to go into the scripture and dissect
the scripture for yourself. You can go in into.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
The Bible today.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Is I believe the tenth, Yes, the tenth of February,
And so I chose to do this study for the
month of February, which is chapter ten correlates with February ten.
You can take one proverbs a day as people, as

(31:24):
I've heard people say proverbs a day, so at each
month you can learn so much from it.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
The way of the Lord is.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
A refuge to the blameless, but it is ruin of
those who do evil. These are wise insights. Let's pay attention.
The way of the Lord is a refuge to the blameless.
For the blameless because The Lord is protecting them all.
The Lord is protecting If you think you've been treated unfairly,
if you think you've been overlooked, if you think you've
been undermeasured, don't you worry, because God will reward those

(31:57):
who are faithful to him. God is the one who
is going to revenge your enemies.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
God is the one.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
You don't have to stand it out there and try
to prove yourself to anyone, because God is the one
who's fighting for you. Don't you forget that? And that
was a word for somebody.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
The righteous.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
From the mouth of the righteous comes the fruit of wisdom.
But a perverse tongue will be silent.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
And the one.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
That I kind of skipped verse thirty, I encourage you
to go back. The righteous will never be appruded, but
the wicked.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Will not remain in the land.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
That simply means that the righteous are anchored in Christ Jesus.
The righteous are rooted in Christ Jesus. They are not
going to fail, They're not going to fall down because
they are they are anchored in Jesus. They are rooted
in Jesus. And so he leads them, He directs them

(32:58):
on their path. But the wicked will not remain in
the land. The wicked have nothing to.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Hold on to.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Therefore they're going to fall down. When Solomon is speaking
of the wicked, he's speaking of the ones that are foolish.
He's speaking of the ones who are following this foolish
woman folly. Okay, And you can go back to Proverbs
nine to get to know this woman, so verse thirty two,

(33:29):
and I believe that is the last one. That is
the last one of the chapter. The lips of the
righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the
wicked only knows what is perverse. Now, this is another
vice inside that we can also learn from that we
can gain understanding. From the lips of the righteous know

(33:52):
what finds favor, and the mouth of the wicked only
what is perverse. The foolish are always It's almost like
I refer to the scripture where it talks about can
a good fruit bring bad fruit? Or can a bad
fruit bring good fruit? You know, if you're wicked, that's

(34:13):
what's gonna come out of your mouth. If you're wise,
that's what's gonna come out of your mouth. Wisdom and understanding,
knowledge will come out of your mouth. But if you
are foolish, that is gossip. You're going to be gossip,
and you're going to be slender, and you're going to
be hateful and so forth. So pick your company wisely.

(34:34):
Don't just pick a company that's going to corrupt you
and your good character. Be careful about that. That was
another word for myself and everyone else who is listening.
Thank you for joining this powerful chapter, this powerful study.
Thank you once again for being here and joining me
in the study. I'm not sure if I'm going to
