Proverbs chapter seven, in which Solomonshares an insight of warning against the adulter's
woman. Just like in chapter five, as as well as six, he
warns the audience of this wayward woman, the forbidden woman. And so he

again warns the audience in chapter seven, my son, keep my words and
store up my commands within you.Keep my commands, and you will live.
Guard my teachings as the apple ofyour eye. Bind them on your
fingers, write them on the tabletof your heart. Just like the Lord

had spoken those words to Solomon,Solomon is also passing on these wise words.
Say to wisdom, you are mysister, and to inside you are
my relative. They will keep youfrom the adulterous woman, from the wayward
woman with her seductive words. Atthe window of my house, I looked

down through the lattice, I sawamong the simple. I noticed among the
young men a youth who had nosense. He was going down the street
near her corner, walking along inthe direction of her house at twilight,
as the day was fading as thedark of night said in so he describes

this scene of a man who visitsthis wayward woman's house. Then came out
a woman to meet him, dressedlike a prostitute and with crafty intent.
She is unruly indefined. Her feetnever stay at home, Now in the

street, now in the squares,at every corner, she learned. She
took hold of him and kissed him, and with a brazen face, she
said, today I've fulfilled my vows, and I have food for my fellowship
offering at home. So I cameout to meet you. I look for

you and have found you. Ihave covered my bed with colored linens from
Egypt. I have perfumed my bedwith mirth, aloes and cinnamon. Come,
let's drink deeply in love till morning. Let's enjoy ourselves with love.

My husband is not at home.He has gone on a long journey.
He took his purse filled with money, and will not be home until full
moon. Now we realize that thiswayward woman, this forbidden woman, is
a married woman, a woman,a woman who should have no business having

you other men in home. Butrather she is enticing these young foolish men
to come to her house. Andso if you are also lusting after a
married woman, you can be foundin this picture as well. With persuadive

words, she led him astray.She seduced him with her smooth talk.
At all at once. He followedher like an ox, going to the
slaughter, like a deer stepping intoa noose till an arrow pierces his liver,

like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him
his life. Now, then,my son's listen to me, Pay attention
to what I say. Do notlet your heart turns turned to her ways
or straight into her path. Manyare the victims she has brought down.

Her slain are a mighty throng.Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death. And this concludes chapter seven of
the Book of Proverbs. Solomon iswarning us the audience of this adulterous woman,

this wayward, forbidden woman, thatis enticing with her words. And
she is smooth as honey, Shetalks well, she is beautiful, she
is enticing. But the end ofher, but the end of dealing with
her is death. The end isdestruction. The end is nothing good that

can come out of it. Soif you're young and you are enticing after
a married woman, stop it,stop it. You don't want to go
on her path. You don't wantto follow her. No, you don't
want to feel the consequences of youractions. Stay away altogether, God bless
