Speaker 1 (00:12):
Hi, I'm Lisa Praither and welcome to the Voice of
Health with our host, doctor Robert Praither of Holistic Integration,
where lives are changed every day through the natural approach
to healthcare. Well, today we're talking about unlocking hormonal health,
the natural way forward for men and women, and we
have a seminar this Wednesday, April thirtieth on this subject,
(00:37):
which we will go into more detail. It's a free
educational seminar. It's from six to seven pm this Wednesday,
April thirtieth at Holistic Integration.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
And I'll give you a chance to ask questions.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Questions and then a bonus. We had twenty percent off
for all attendees if you're on the zoom or in person,
twenty percent off our hormone test, which is a great deal.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
So let's talk about hormones, doctor Braither. What exactly are
they and why are they so crucial to our overall health?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Well, I always tell people the first two things you
want to get fixed on someone if you're trying to
make them healthy is your nervous system and your endercon system.
And the endercon system is the portion that makes the
hormones and basically the nervous system is the electrical system
that tells the body what to do, and then the
(01:31):
hormones from the endercon system chemically tell the body what
to do. So it's the communication of your system. And
if that communications off, well, it's impossible to be able
to get yourself healthy. So you know, nervous system getting
that all balanced out, and then the hormones and the
(01:51):
nervous system and the endercon system making the hormones work
very closely together. So really it's different, dificult to have
one not working right and expect the other one to work.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Right well, And that's the type of healthcare we do
at Holistic Integration is structure function care, and right there,
you need both.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
You really do need both.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
You need both. Your nervous system underconsystem encompasses both structure
and function.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
It does.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
So can you give us a quick overview of the
major hormone systems of the body.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Well, you're looking at glandulis. I mean that's a very
very big thing. You really start at the top the
pineal gland, and the pineal gland is sort of the
master controller for the body. It does actually absorb light
from outside, so it's kind of considered the third eye.
Oh and it makes Yeah, it really regulates sleep. So
(02:50):
that's a big area that we would look at for
sleep and it kind of kicks everything off. Now, the
pineal gland doesn't really become active until you reach maturity,
you know, when you go through your adlescence, puberty and
all that good stuff, and then it starts kicking in.
Below that is the pituitary and hypothomis is also major
(03:11):
areas and that has a lot of regulatory type of aspect.
Then you go down to the thyroid and parathyroid is
really the next area that's making your different hormones, and
then you go on down from there there's the pincers
actually some of the intestines. The liver actually has a
regulatory effect on that too, and then you also are
(03:34):
looking at the prostate, uterus, testes, and ovaries kind of
round that all up.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
There is a lot involved.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
There's a lot involved in each one of them. We're
actually discovering new ones all the time, really, so there
are new ones that are come of hormone systems. Hormone
systems that actually have a big effect on the body
because it's a huge chemical reaction and communication that's going on.
So we haven't really discovered everything and how it all
(04:04):
completely works yet, but it is a very very fascinating
subject in an area that I really enjoy working with.
And it has a like I said, you know, it
kind of determines how you age, and it determines your
overall health and well being, determines your weight, you know,
(04:24):
all those different types of things as far as on that.
So it's a fascinating type of area one of the
places I really like looking at, and one of the
things that we do is kind of really get into it.
Like we had one person who was having problems with
sleep at night. There was different problems, a lot of urination,
and we found out that they had a parathybroid hormone
(04:47):
that was overactive, which changes the calcium which actually was
releasing at night, and that was the underlying reason for
the insomnia.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Interesting, So how did you get there?
Speaker 2 (04:58):
We tested it tested.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Was it bloodwork?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, it's bloodwork. So we just did a nice panel
on that took a look at all the things that
could possibly and we hadn't even thought about the parathyroid hormone.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Interesting, So what was this a woman or a woman? Yeuh, huh,
so what did you do for her?
Speaker 2 (05:15):
We're giving her some homeopathics. We're also getting referred out
to an endecinologist make sure that there wasn't anything else
going on. But it was a pretty simple type of thing.
We get the parathyroid hormone balanced and the person is
doing great.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, it's all about balance.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
So little things like that, you know, it's if you
don't test, you don't know. We're very thorough in our testing.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah. So can you explain the major hormones involved in
both men and women? You know, like testosterone, estrogen, cortisol.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Sure, I can explain it for men, but not for women. Yes,
that's a deep subject, but no, I agree. So men
were kind of simple, you know, if you're talking about
what it takes to kind of balance out like a
men's mood, talking about two hormones, if you're talking about
(06:13):
it's basically testosterone and estrogen, you know, it's basically what
you're looking at getting those two balanced out, which is
pretty easy.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah. Yeah, simple creatures.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
We are simple creatures. For women, it's sixty four hormones
that you got to balance out to get their mood right,
and it's a moving target. So you know, during the month,
it's it's a whole different type of thing. So trying
to come from the outside and give hormones to actually
(06:42):
balance that is pretty much impossible. So you know, our
philosophy is different. What we do is we come in
and try to help the body to regulate things themselves. Yeah,
so that they then get to be able to do it.
Because really, to be honest with you, we're really not
(07:04):
smart enough to be able to come in here and
say I'm going to override your body and give you
hormones for this. You see what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, which we're going to talk about yeah later.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
So what we're doing along those lines is we're trying
to get the system to balance out itself.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
But yes, it is where the body is the hero, where.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
The body is the hero. We consider that the body
is the hero. So what we're doing is it's a
lot more intense, a lot more difficult as far as
on women, we need a lot more information to be
able to get their hormones balanced out, and so getting
in there and doing all the different types of tests
really makes a big difference. And so I'm just where
(07:51):
that is.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, it's someone at a circus holding up those plates
on a stick, right, So sixty four.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
So women, human women, most animals, mammals aren't constantly going
through that, going through what the basically fertility on a
regular monthly basis. You know, it's like once or twice
a year, yeah, that they become fertile, and so there's
not that much change. So human women are actually more
(08:20):
difficult than any other creature out there as far as unbalancing.
If you're talking about hormones, human women are the most
difficult monthly as far as a change along those lines,
and so trying to get that balanced along those lines
is definitely a challenge. You know, you've got the basics,
but there's oftentimes other things that are actually going on
(08:42):
that we see that are missed. It's not just t cessterone, progesterone,
and then the four different kinds of estrogen, and it's
not just estrogen. There's four different kinds, and then how
they actually go through the whole process and are made,
and then all the other things that go into the
balance along those lines. It is definitely a challenge.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
So what are the primary hormones that differentiate between male
and female biology.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Well, of course you have the basics. The testosterone level
for men, you should be at least three hundred and
fifty for testosterone. For men, they start actually adding testosterone
as far as on a clinical level at one hundred
and fifty. Some will actually do two fifty. But really
for a man to be functioning well, you need to
be around five hundred. Really, you're better higher than that now.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
But women need testosterone.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
They do, but you're talking about a much less amount, right,
you know, you're talking about twenty five. You're pretty good
and twenty five, and of course testosterone is the one
that is sort of like the sex drive. And you
wonder why, we're kind of simple and there's only one
thing on our mind. If we gave you an eight
hundred testosterone.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
We'd understand, we'd understand.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
But then, of course you have the progester and estrogen,
and it's definitely different ratios along those lines. There are
other things that are different, pregnenolone and some other things,
but those are the main ones that vary quite a
bit between that differentiate between men and women.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Okay, when we come back more on unlocking hormonal health,
a natural way forward for men and women will be
right back. Does your group or organization need a speaker

is the Voice of Health with doctor Robert Praither. The
Voice of Health Wellness tip featuring rapid release technology Jadha Prather.
What conditions does the rapid release technology work on?
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Carpal tunnel, shoulder issues where you'd have restrictions, even like shoulder,
rotator cuff problems with the pains in the elbow, either
golfer's elbow, tennis elbow all help out tremendously.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Neck pain, low back pain.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Headaches, extremely excellent for headaches, siatica, perreiformist syndromes, scoliosis even.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Yeah, and we've used it on TMJNMJ. We have that
big mass that or muscle that we need to release.
NAT conditions planar faesciitis.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
The patron's contraction.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, Rappid release has five heads on it, so you
can use specifically. The smaller heads would be for someone.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
You know for smaller areas for the hand type of
problems along those lines, any type of scar tissue post
surgical trying to get that back to where it needs
to be. Basically almost every type of muscular skeletal condition
out there. It's very versatile, amazingly effective, and one of
the greatest things is safety. In other words, with the
rapid release, you're not going to make something.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Worse, right, and it's not painful. We've had quite a
few patients by them for themselves.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Oh yes, yeah, We've had several people who came into
our office and said that was the only thing that
really helped them, you know, of everything that they had
tried before, the dramatic changes along those lines.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, someone will say, well, I have this thumper, a
big massager at home. It's not the same thing, right,
not the same technology.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
No, it's not even trying to accomplish the same thing.

(14:09):
unlocking hormonal health the natural way forward for men and women.
You know it's important and I know you say it.
Men are simple creatures. Two hormones.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Well, it's for emotional balance.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Emotional and women have sixty four.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Sixty four that you get a balance out.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
I wonder why God did that. You're keeping your and
you're keeping your mouth shut. So just want our listeners
to know that we're having a free educational seminar on
this topic this Wednesday, April thirtieth, six to seven pm
(14:49):
at Holistic Integration. You can also zoom in. We'll have
the zoom but go on to our website or Facebook.
You can RSVP at Holistic Integration dot com and you'll
be going into a lot more detail, yes on the
numbers and what to look for. We're going to be
offering a twenty percent off on hormone test for all
(15:12):
those that attend, both online and in person. All right,
so let's talk about you know how to hormone imbalances
typically present in men versus women.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Well, for men, it actually as they go down all
of a sudden, it's more of a crash.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
M you're talking about their hormones.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Well, I mean just how they're they're functioning.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Okay, you know what I mean. It's a crash.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Yeah, it's more of a crash, and then they are
sort of non functioning at that point. So what we
see for men when they usually come in, it's because
somebody brought them in, because they don't have enough motivation
to come in themselves. Yeah, and they can't do anything.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Mm hmm. You know, it's it's more like they're trouble functioning.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Right, We've pushed, we pushed, we pushed, we pushed. You know,
we can keep on going and keep on going, and
then it's like and then I'm doone.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Why is that or because men don't always want to
go to doctors.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
True, and especially then they don't have the motivation. But
it's in other words, you don't show the symptoms as
your hormones are going down as much until they're until
they're just not functioning. Women are slight shifting, you can tell,
but they can actually then continue even though that they're
(16:38):
going down, they can continue to keep functioning so they
don't crack, right, and hormonally, that's actually set up to
do that. Do you see what I'm saying. So it's
it's like the male should be keeping on going and
keep on functioning. In other words, if they're a little
(17:01):
bit slower, a little bit worse, and there's a tiger
that comes in, you see, you want to be able
to produce as much strength and aggression and focus until
it actually crashes, and then you're worthless and then it's
time to be eaten. You see what I'm saying. Women,
(17:21):
you can tell that there's you know, I'm a little
bit off. I need some help, you know, but you
have kids and others who are dependent upon you. So
even though you're crashing, you keep on going.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
So it's just like, you know, you look at the
different roles as far as back when, and it makes
sense why things would be designed out that way. So
men go until you're done, and then women it's like, hey,
there's something wrong, you know, I need to do something
about this.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, they'll make that appointment.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
They'll make that appointment. They'll sit there and work on
it and they'll be aware of it, but they can
keep on going even when a male has done has crashed. Yeah,
so it's interesting how that works.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, So what are some common signs that your hormones
might be out of balance?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Sleep disturbance, of course, is a big thing. Anxiety. Anxiety
is very much along the lines of the hormones. One
thing I forgot to add was the adrenals as far
as on the hormones. Yeah, that's a very big one,
and that's probably one of the first ones that kind
of go because the dreanals we know of can make
(18:39):
thirty six hormones, so it can actually make up for
what you lose.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
An adrenal is on the kidney, right.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Sits on top of the kidney. A matter of fact,
in the Biblical just a side note, the most valuable
part of the lamb was the adrenals. They call it
the fat portion of the kidneys. Yeah, because it looked
like on top of the kidneys, and it was used
for medicine and they had trouble with their adrenals back then,
so they would take that off and then sell that
(19:07):
as a as a medicine, and it was almost as
valuable as the whole lamp.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
They were stressed back then.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, if a people had stress had hormones back then,
They had hormones back then. So you know, this is
a long term type of thing, and the adrenals is
probably one of the first ones because it can kind
of make up. So after like a hysterectomy, the adrenals
actually then will start to make the sex hormones.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Wow, so it switches.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, it will switch over to that, or if there's
kind of a failure, then that's what kind of backs
everything up. So right now we know that the adrenals
can actually make up thirty six of the different hormones.
It's sort of your backup thing.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
And then yeah, but if you're stressed, you're stress in
your adrenals and did they function as well?
Speaker 2 (19:55):
No, And that's one of the things that really kicks
off the anxiety. So probably the the first thing that
we see go is the adrenals thyroid starts to and
you know, as we check people out, hardly anybody has
adrenals that are working full till.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
And that has changed since COVID be much worse.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yeah, I mean it was always a problem, but people
have been much more stressed and then thyroid also is
a big one, but potuitoy, all of them start to go.
So as you're looking at that, you're trying to supplement
those different types of things and rebuild the organs so
that they start working again.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
So how do hormones affect things like mood, energy, wait,
and sleep.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
It's completely controlled by that. Yeah, So basically the hormones
determine how you metabolize your food. You can go from
a normal type of reaction. If your inderconsistem is working
right is, you will eat and then you'll have a
seventy five percent increase in your metabolism, your thermogenesis, so
(21:00):
you burn it up. If your innercan system is not working,
you have no change in your thermogenesis.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
So there, the metabolism isn't there.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
The metabolism isn't there.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
So you know it's belly fat usually, well.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
It can actually be all sorts of It depends on
the different kind. Okay, no, it's not just belly fat.
It can be all sorts of. And your hypothomis, which
is also part of your inercansystem, has an image of you,
of what you should be, and it's going to fight
you if you're trying to change that. So it wants stability,
(21:38):
it wants homeostasis. It doesn't like changes, so it doesn't
like it when you lose a lot of weight or
you put on a lot of weight, and it actually
will fight that, and you have to actually overcome that
and actually know how to do that. That's why human
choreonic and atotrophy is one way that you can kind
of override and reset the body. What is that That
(21:59):
is hormone that goes to hypothemis and actually helps to
change the body's perception.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Of words in that.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
You know, to actually change your body composition and what
you look like. So everything is dependent upon that. You know,
your muscle mass, all those different types of things meant effact.
The interesting thing is what we judge beauty is basically
beauty is determined by how healthy your enderconsystem and hormones.
(22:35):
So your hormones will shape what you look like, and
so beauty is basically a result of a good hormonal system.
They've proven that people who are more attractive have a
better working enderconsystem than people who don't Like that, oh no,
(22:56):
I mean even facial features, and I mean, like like completely,
whether you look good or not. So we have judged
our ideals of beauty based on the enderconsystem, on what
looks good. So it's an interesting.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah, we're not treating it naturally. We're going to talk
about that, right.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yeah, But like women when they're actually in their fertile phase,
like men who look more heavy in their testosterone when
they're in their menstrual cycle. They like men who aren't
as strong testosterone, more gentle and more feminine, and their
(23:38):
perception of men changes during the monthly cycle, which is interesting.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
That is interesting. So how does it affect like mood?
We talked about sleep, that's one of the first things.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Yeah, anxiety, depression, all those things are involved with the
endercan system and usually with the hormone. Is how you change.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Those Yeah, agitation, agitation.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
You know, it's either nervous system or its hormonal system. Yeah,
and those are the two things that you look at
on any type of a mental depression, anxiety, anything like that,
even the schizophrenia other things. It all has to come
down with the neurobiology and the hormonal biology.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
All right, when we come back more on unlocking your hormones,
we'll be right back. Listen to the voice of health

organic and inorganic.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Mappter her.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
I didn't think I had allergies. I just said I
had a really bad cold since preschool. So my mom
she used to treat the problem. She used to hose
me down with vis Vapo rub and she liked that
stuff too much on me. The air above me had
this distorted look all the time. I get on the
school bus in the morning. Everyone got emotional instant. Later,
the first girl I tried to kiss got cured of

The Voice of Health Wellness tip featuring Meredith Sharp of
tallow LC and planipulopathecarry.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
Well.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Let's start with some of the products I use and
we carry here at Holistic Integration the fusion. I've noticed
a big difference and what does it target? By far,
one of my favorite products that we carry.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
It targets wrinkles, fine lines, acne, scars, dark circles, age spots.
It's really our anti aging balm, meant for all skin
types and all ages.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
And what's the daily use.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
I typically like to use this ballm morning and night.
I'm one of those people that likes to shower in
the morning. You only need a little bit. A little
bit goes a long way of all of our products.
I put a thin application on my chest, neck and face,
and then if you let it kind of set into
your skin, it's a wonderful base under makeup. It's non comtagenic,
so it won't break you out. And then at night
(26:31):
I like to just wash my face with a warm
washcloth and apply the bomb again before going to bed.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
That's kind of what I do. Also, yeah, you don't
need base makeup. I've noticed even some of the dark
spots fading on my face.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
You notice a difference within a couple of days, a
couple of weeks, and after several months of use, a
lot of dark spots do tend to go away.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
So what ingredients are in the fusion.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
In the fusion, we use one hundred percent grass sped
and finished talent, organic olive oil, and organic coconut oil,
as well as comfrey that we grow on our homestead,
and then some essential oils which are lavender, frankinsense, and cammal.
The frankincense is wonderful for anti aging as well as
the comfrey, which I think those two in tandem really
(27:18):
combat the dark circles, fine lines, and dark spots.

You'll hear from doctor Robert Prather, host of the Voice
of Health Radio.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
If the doctor takes over the regulation of the hormones,
it's dangerous. If the body's doing the regulation, it knows
how to move it back and forth, how to do
the subtle changes so that you are more protected from
diseases and cancer than the other way.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
I'm Lisa Prather, and you're listening to the Voice of
Health with doctor Robert Prather of Holistic Integration where we
get to the root cause of your health issue. Talking
today about unlocking hormonal health, the natural way forward for
(30:14):
men and women. And let's talk about now some natural
treatments you know we do it Holistic integration that help
balance the hormones Dutch Prather. Let's talk about you know,
herbs and the supplements we carry and what you recommiz.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Sure what people take to kind of help to balance
that out. So one of the major things is that
the difference between medically disease care, how they treat it,
and then how you treat it structure functionally is basically
what we're looking at, and the disease care is necessary
at times where you actually have to override the body
(30:54):
and kind of fool it. So you have two different ways.
You've got pharmaceuticals, which are they make it so that
it's not exactly like your hormones, so there is a
process of regulation. Now, when you do biodentical hormones, it
overrides the body completely, so that it basically takes over
(31:16):
and the body doesn't have any regulation at all, which
we consider that a problem. Now, there are times where
that should be done, but it's only about two percent
of the time where you actually need those things. Most
of the time it should be something that you're naturally
regulating the body, because there's always issues that occur with
(31:37):
like the biodenticals. We see the immune system drop osteoporosis
because the regulation it throws off the body's regulation. It's
a very intricate type of thing, and I don't believe
we're smart enough at this point to do that. There
are times where it's absolutely necessary, but that's actually more
far and few between. What we try to do is
(31:58):
to rebuild the body so that the body is actually
starting to work on its own, and we do that
through a lot of different types of ways. Taking different
type of nutraceuticals is one of the ways that we
do that, and then includes you know, minerals, that includes
organ types of things. We also have vitamins. We also
(32:19):
have amino acids that can play effect, and then herbals
are all the different types of things that we do
and just talking about like minerals, one of the most
important things is the copper's incratio. The copper's inc ray
show is a balance on that that should be there.
The zinc is sort of the shall I say, the
(32:40):
male energy, and copper is the female And one of
the things that we find that the copper goes high
that it throws off all the hormones and you're not
going to be able to get anything balanced until you
get the copper's incracio back into so you know, you
can even be taking pharmaceutical or biodenticals and it's still
(33:01):
not going to work.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Yeah, and that's something we do a hair analysis on hair.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Analysis is the best way to do that. You had
too high of a copper.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, we have to watch it.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Yeah, right, well we kind of know when it goes off.
Speaker 5 (33:14):
Yeah, do I get a little Well, basically, basically I
become a problem, and you know it's time.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Nothing you can do, and yes, and it's time to
check check the hair, see if the copper is off,
which it is usually, and then we have to balance
out the copper and then I start behaving myself. It's
amazing how you taking that zinc and copper detox, how
it changes my behavior.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
How the men out there are like, can I get it? Yeah,
my wife tested.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
I'm always doing much better at that instance. So looking
at that, that's a really important type of thing as
far as on the hormones, and there's other minerals and
other things that actually have an effect. That's one of
the really big obvious ones. And then also taking.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Glandulars, Yeah, and what are glandulars just.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
It would be one of the things is we sell
pineal glandular pituitary thyroid adrenal is probably one of the
biggest things. We sell orcic, which is testicles of bowld testicles.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
And then.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
And then ovaries, and what we do is we supplement
those to get those things in there. And what it
does is it provides all the nutrients and the protomorphogens,
which is a whole other thing. And there's different kinds
of glandulars that we have for different types of effects,
and those glandulars really do amazing things because then your
(34:47):
body says, there it takes it. He said, you know,
I'm deficient on these things. Here it is. Here's all
the building blocks, you know, because it's got all the
minerals that it needs, and it's got all the nutrients
and all the the amino acids that it needs to
rebuild it. And then all of a sudden things start
looking better. We can see it on the blood work.
So glandulars are a huge thing whenever you're dealing with
(35:11):
the hormones and the ENDERCN system. Now, the other thing
is getting all the vitamins that you need because you
can be deficient and different ones, which we can do
blood work and find out which ones they are and
then actually get those supplements and that can actually help
everything to work better. You know, as far as on
the process of making it. Amino Acids play a very
(35:31):
big role. Tyrosine for the thyroid, and on and on
and on. To make sure that you've got those things
that are necessary to actually play a role. Like when
we look at the thyroid, there's thirty six different aspects
of the thyroid, thirty six that you know, and you're
not going to people take the levothoxin, synthroid, those types
(35:52):
of things, but they don't you know, it helps with
the numbers, but they don't still get the benefits. You know,
they still have the hair loss, they still have the
weight gain, they still have the fatigue, and you need
to get into those other things to actually get it
balanced out. And then there's also the pituitary usually goes
down when you're taking those thyroid medicines, and then the
(36:14):
pituitary causes because it goes down, causes depression. So eighty
percent of everyone who's on thyroid medicine to the all
depression because it affects other different it affects the pituitary particular.
So you can see how that kind of works through it.
Like one of the major things is iodine. You know, iodine,
(36:38):
it used to be and I have a whole talk
on iodine.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Yeah, we did a whole show.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
I could go on and on about iodine. You know,
for the whole rest.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Here in Indiana, right, it's soil.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
And even though you're taking levothoraxin cynthroid, if you're low
on the iodine, you're not going to get the benefit.
So you need to get check your eye dying make sure.
That's a matter of fact. There used to be sort
of like a little meme that everybody, every doctor used
to know that if you don't have an idea of
what to do on somebody, you just give them potassium
(37:11):
iodine and then you see things really start to change
around cancers, you know, especially like with breast cancer other
different types of cancers. The iodine iodide actually is very
very important on preventing cancer. And then your whole immune
system breasts completely dependent and the breasts are actually part
(37:32):
of the hormonal indercan system. Matter of fact, the breasts
actually for women actually controls the rest of the indercan system,
which is interesting. What do you mean, Well, so when
a woman actually nurses, it stops the cycle, right, and
so the breast actually has the ability to regulate the
(37:52):
whole risk of the body. Interesting, So one of the
things that we might be doing is giving mammary PMG
to help to balance out the hormones and then also
keeping the iodine iodide up and making sure that that's
working great because like assistic breasts are completely an iodine deficiency.
(38:14):
Oh interesting, and breast cancer. The biggest thing that they've
shown on peb med is that you're keeping your levels
of iodine iodide up is the best way to prevent
breast cancer and also to help cure it for the
body to actually work. It's a very strong anti cancer
(38:35):
type of a product. Yeah. And one of the things
that the AMA did is they falsified a research paper
that iodine was dangerous and they took it out of
all things to stop because it was the number one
pharmaceutical cell. Iodine was the potassium iodide was the number
(38:55):
one thing, the number one medicine that was given in
the United States, and the pharmaceutical companies through the AM
did a study to disprove that that was actually dangerous,
so everybody stopped us. As a matter of fact, I
still have to retrain my mds and nursepectitioners and position
assistants because they were trained on that where and one
(39:17):
of the things that happened in the seventies is there
was a guy who was doing a research project, and
he tried to re He said, you know, this isn't
this research doesn't match what I'm seeing. So he went
back to redo the experiment and found that they never
did the experiment. They just wrote the paper. It was
(39:38):
completely falsified.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Yeah, yeah, because they wanted to get.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Their own They wanted to get rid of this competition
of the number one medicine. They wanted to get rid
of it. Yeah, and so you know, those types of
things go on. We really sometimes you know, science is great,
but you can falsify it, right, you know, So looking
at and then Herbels, Oh, I mean, you know, we've
(40:05):
got a whole company called Bezwekon and basically all it
is is herbal products for women to help to balance
them out. So we have several different types of products
along those lines, Jima and program B, fido B, all
those different types of things are very important in getting
women's balanced out and getting their hormones out.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
And it's you know, hormones are serious. You know, it's
very important to get tested.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
So you know, if you don't test, you don't know,
and it's tricky, and it's tricky.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Yeah, this isn't something. Yeah, you have to really go
to someone that knows what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, and it's you know, we are far more thorough
than the hindokinologists as far as our testing and then
working with it is we recognize all the different aspects
that go into it, which is very interrelated.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Well, that's because we're treating the patient holistically. And when
you're talking about the underconsistent, you're dealing with so so
many systems.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
You got to get the liver cleaned up. Yeah, if
the liver is non functioning, then you're not going to
have that minor regulation that's going on. Yeah, So it
goes on and on.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Well, we'll be back for our last segment. We're going

Are you feeling more tired, moody, or off balanced than usual,
Struggling with sleep, low libido, weight gain, or brain fog.
Your hormones might be the missing piece, and Holistic Integration
is here to help show you how to naturally balance
your hormones. Join us for our free Holistic Integration educational
seminar Unlocking Hormonal Health a Natural Way Forward for Men
(42:22):
and Women Wednesday, April thirtieth at six pm. You'll hear
from doctor Robert Prather, host of the Voice of Health Radio.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
The United States government started to test young men in
the military in World War One. Most of the young
men had a testosterone level of about eight hundred. In
World War Two, the number had actually dropped more into
the five hundreds. Vietnam it was actually in the three hundreds.
In the recent wars, it's averaging in the two hundreds.
(42:52):
And I'm seen on a rather consistent basis, men who
are in their twenties with one hundred and fifty testosterone
level can't function at that level. Concentration problems, overall health
problems drive infertility, and one of the big things that
we're doing in our office is trying to raise that up.
But what we try to do is ask them do
they want to get the testosterone replacement or to try
(43:15):
to do it naturally. It is something that easily can
be done.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
What vitamins and minerals are important for testosterone levels.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
The most important thing, The most common thing that is
low is zinc. Zinc is absolutely essential for making testosterone
and is considered the fertility mineral. Most common reason for
low fertility is low zinc, and viruses eat up zinc.
And the way that you can tell that you're extremely
low on zinc is you lose the sense of smell
(43:43):
and taste.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
That's what they were talking with COVID.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Right Because the bodies using so much zinc to fight COVID,
the levels drop very low and we're getting a lot
of very low testosterone that has been a result of
having these infects. It's something to be aware of right now.
Almost everybody is very low on testosterone at this point
because of all the infections we've had. Really, it's quite
(44:09):
impossible to get testosterone balanced in both males and females
without glandulars. A wolf, like the alpha of the pack,
doesn't let the other wolves in the pack eat the glandulars.
They don't let the others get it because that's what
makes them the alphas. So if you want to be
(44:30):
an alpha in your life, eat glandulars.

You're listening to the Voice of Health with doctor Robert
Prather of Holistic Integration, where our mission is restoring hope
to our patients.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
We're talking today about Unlocking hormonal health, the natural way
forward for men and women, and we're talking about the
natural treatments we provide at Holistic integration and the thoroughness.
That's what I hear from our patients, how thorough we are,
how much we're educating them. We want them to understand
(45:48):
what's going on. We want them to understand their labs.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Well, one of the things is you have to know, yeah,
what your issue is. That's one of the they find
that if you know, the symptoms actually decrease. It's the
whole thing of the unknowing. Yeah, that really causes a
lot of angs for people. If you know what you're
dealing with, then that really makes a huge difference in
(46:14):
how you respond.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
And right now I'm on some of the natural things
that you talked about for hormones, and it's fine, I
give you permission to talk about that if you want,
but I'm on that memory. PMG and I have been
on and off.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
Yeah, that's something that's pretty consistent for you and really
does wonders on helping you to balance out. Domiana is
one that we work on as a hormonal type of thing.
The program B is an herbal type of product that
really helps out tremendously with balancing you out. So all
(46:50):
those things makes the difference. And then also a drenal
is a very common thing that we put you on
right yeah, because and then actually the potassium plays a
big role too, you know, as far as on the
mineral balance, getting that all set, so you know, making
sure that all those things because I'm rather fond of
keeping your hormones balanced.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Yes, and I am very fond of it too, yes.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
I mean you know when one of the things is
when you started menopause, you had a hot flash and
you told me I better not have another one. Yeah,
And I took you seriously, put you on some stuff
right away, and you didn't.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
One of the patients and the other day said, oh,
you're doctor Prather's wife. You are a lucky woman. Oh,
and I agreed, Yes, yep, you may not be a handyman,
but well but you can take care of my health.
There you go, and I prefer that. So let's talk
about the other natural services we do. We've talked about
(47:54):
the herbs, the supplements. Let's talk about chiropractic.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
And one thing I forgot to mention was homeopathy.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
Homeopathy.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yes, that's a huge one. So one of the things
that we can do with that is part of homeopathy
is something called sarcodes, which is the kind of a
glandular but on a homeopathic type of level, like for
the parathyroid oftentimes will make a sarcode for that and
that helps to balance it. So that's a very important
(48:22):
type of thing. There's three thousand different homeopathics that we
can give, you know, to help to balance out the system.
You can also give out a homeopathic for the particular
types of hormones that are off, So we can make
it for testosterone, progesterone, estrogen, estradiol, pregnenolone, all those different
types of things, and then that helps to stimulate the
(48:45):
body to make them and balance them. So homeopathy is
a very big secret weapon that we use and very
very helpful in this whole process.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Yeah, okay, let's talk about on the structural side of
chyro practic paripractic, right, how does that help?
Speaker 2 (49:03):
So the number one thing on balancing out the endercan
system is the atlas that first vertebrae, and that first vertebrae,
because what it does is it controls the autonomic nervous system.
The autonomic nervous system tells the endercan system and therefore
the hormones what to do. So if that is out
(49:25):
matter of fact, we just had to put your antlsis
in yesterday.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Yes, yes, we did. Yeah, it had been two years.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Yeah, since you've had an adjustment on that, and yours
was out and it was very obvious, and it's amazing
how much of a difference that made as we put
that in right. And so we always need to make
sure that especially the ATLAS is in place in regulating
the hormone and endercon system and then of course the
(49:52):
function of all the nerves going down, because basically we're
nerve doctors, not spine doctors. We deal with a spine
to affect the nervous system, and the nervous system is,
along with the endercan system, part of the major regulating
portion of the body, and so getting the nervous system
right will have a very big effect on the endercan
(50:16):
system and the hormones. And you cannot get the endercan
system and the hormones balanced unless the nervous system is
working right.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Interesting, it just won't work. Yeah, what about acupuncture.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
Acupuncture, so like one of the things that we do.
So I have women who have a cystic ovary and
they're in excruciating pain, we can actually hit an acupuncture
point and like within five ten minutes, it's all gone.
That pain, Yeah, that pain is gone. It settles it down.
(50:47):
So there are different acupuncture points to affect the thyroid, pituitary, pineal, adrenals, ovaries, uterus,
and as you hit those, it's stimulates a healing property.
So what acupuncture like if you get knee surgery and
afterwards you put acupuncture needles in there, the surgery will
(51:12):
heal twice as fast without a scar. Let's say you
have an old scar, even thirty years old. You can
put needles in and the scar will disappear. So what
we say about acupuncture is it promotes healing. It's the
electromagnetic energy that stimulates the healing process in the body,
(51:34):
and so you can get we can actually target the
ovaries and stimulate the body's own healing property to get
that back into proper function. So very very helpful. You
can accomplish an awful lot and oftentimes it can have
almost as much of effect as the nervous system.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Now, what about aurricular therapy. That's something we do that
you'reports with the seeds.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
And that affects the brain. So that's the basically Doctor Nurge,
which was he was one of the top three brain
surgeons in the world actually took people's skulls off and
then electrically stimulated the ear and could see the changes
in the brain. And now they can do it with MRI.
(52:21):
But auricular is actually the most proven therapy in the
entire world over anything, because you can actually see the
reactions in the brain as you stimulate the ear. Fascinating.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Yeah, and that's been really helpful. We have a little
more than a minute. I want to make sure you
cover in that time anything else on the services that
you want to cover.
Speaker 2 (52:42):
Well, I mean there's a lot of other things that
we do. Of course, exercise, getting the posture correct as
a huge effect, all those different types of things. We
also have physiotherapy, which is electrical diathermy, all sorts of
things along those lines. So there's a lot of ways
that we work with everything. Yeah, and then combining those
(53:03):
is what we're good at. But one of the things
I would like to say is I would really encourage
people who have interests in that area, want to really
export deeper, is to come to that lecture or get
online and then give me the questions and I can
actually then answer. We're going to go into more detail.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
Yeah, and have a lot of time for Q and A.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
And then there will be time for questions because that
is a big area that people are dealing with and
something that is important to your health and well being
and the endercon system. You know, the number one area
for cancer is breast cancer, which is definitely a hormone
ENDERCIN type of situation, and the pro state for ment.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Yeah, well, thank you, debt to pray there. Thank you Lisa,
very insightful, very important, and again we'd recommend your first
