Speaker 1 (00:12):
Hi, I'm Lisa Praither and welcome to the Voice of
Health with our host, doctor Robert Braither of Holistic Integration,
where lives are changed every day through the natural approach
to healthcare. Well, Doctor Brayther, the best part of our
office is the patient success stories we.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Have, And the biggest thing that I really like about
it is we know, I don't guess as far as
whether patients are getting better, but I can actually look
at their lab tests, their exams, their objective findings to
know that the patient is improving. And it is very
satisfying to see that and to be able to tell
(00:51):
the patient that, yes, you are making progress with your
condition and that we have proof that they are actually occurring.
And it's interesting because the lab results usually show up
first as the changes, then the symptoms start to improve,
so we can assure them that this is actually going
(01:12):
to be something that they can actually feel the difference.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yeah, it must be so rewarding to see, you know,
the success it is.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
There are many times that we cry with the patient
silver what's actually occurred in their lives.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
So this week we're going to be featuring a few
special patient success stories, and first we're going to hear
from VICKI And Vicky, how did you hear about Holistic Integration?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Well, I'm actually a past and present patient of Prayther.
I actually saw doctor Prayther over twenty years ago for
some other issues and then lived in different states, moved
back to Indianapolis and discovered that he was at this
new location. So I've kind of known about his practice
and what he does, and it's what I needed in
that moment. So that's what brought me back.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, well, I'm glad you found us because in that
time had we moved. Yes, So, Vicky, what brought you
into Holistic Integration?
Speaker 3 (02:10):
So the past year, I would say spring and summer,
I started developing like a spasmodic cough and really bad
restless leg and was trying to do my own research
trying to figure out what supplements to take, was taking
all kinds of different magnesium. Went to the doctor, my
(02:30):
primary care physician, and said, what can you do for
this cough and my restless leg? And I said, I
haven't had my labs drawn in probably over a year,
so I should probably have my annual panel done. And
that was a shock because my numbers have always been
good and when I got my labs back, everything liver
tried glycerides, A, one, C, you name it. It was
(02:54):
very elevated. And at that point I was like, Okay,
I'm taking all the supplements. I don't know what's working.
I need to go see doctor Praither because I know
he'll test me for them and tell me which ones
are working. And nobody can answer any questions about the
cough and the restless leg. And of course I'll refer
to him as my Western medicine doctors, which I love them.
(03:16):
They wanted to put me on all kinds of implements
and insulin and all kinds of stuff, and I was like,
let me do some work here. Immediately came to see
you at Holistic Integration. Here, I got an appointment very early,
brought all my labs and doctor Praither. I met with
Annie and he just kind of looked at me, and
(03:37):
I'm like, I'm a hot mess, aren't I. He goes, yeah,
you're a hot mess, and I just started crying and
he goes, but we're gonna be able to fix everything.
So that's initially what brought me here.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
VICKI. Let's talk about your numbers. What you saw on
those labs and what treatment you received here at Holistic Integration.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Sure, so the scariest lab was the A one seat
and it was like eleven point seven, which is basically
full blown diabetes. And I'd never had any issues like
that at all before. So when I came here, my
treatment started with diothermy. Well, first of all, we did
a whole We did the gut zuomer where they tested
(04:16):
everything in my biome. We did the food sensitivity test,
We did ans and I'm doing diathermy and dry needling, okay,
And then of course counseling on different types of food
to avoid and to introduce, and all kinds of different
supplements and enzymes.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, and we got some. You have some great news
on your new numbers and we'll talk about that in
a little bit, which is really exciting. So Vicky, let's
talk about tell us a little bit about how you
changed your lifestyle and diet.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Well, probably the biggest thing is after doing the food
sensitivity test and taking that deep dive with what foods
were triggering, what foods were helping, what foods are working
against me? For gosh, probably forty five minutes going over
all of them, and went home and just started throwing
stuff away and just eliminating those foods that I was
(05:09):
putting in my body every day. And they weren't necessarily
bad foods, they were just bad for me, right, which
is the key. And then adding all the supplements, and
she checks my supplements at least once a month and
we adjust them accordingly. I began to feel better. So
then I started getting motivated to go to the gym
more wow, which also is a whole part of the process.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
So VICKI, let's talk about results. What I like what
we do here at Holistic Integration is we educate our patients.
You know your numbers, you understand your labs, so let's
talk about your results here at Holistic Integration.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
So I went from my follow up appointment with my
primary care physician and they came in with boxes of
equipment and syringes and wanted to put me on all
of this stuff. And I said, can we test my
A one C first before we go down this path.
I mean, there were like stacks of stuff. So they
(06:08):
did the fingerstick and then they did a full you know,
lab draw, and I was sitting there waiting for the results,
and the doctor came in. I was sitting in a
chair and she hopped up on the table and she goes,
what do you think your A one C is? And
I said, well, I'm sitting here praying to God that
it's at least an eight or nine. She said it's
seven point four.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
The pharmacist who was sitting there with all the equipment,
her jaw just went. She goes, what are you doing?
I want to know huh? And I said, I can't
tell you. It's not just one thing, it's it's a
lot of things. And I had already told her that
I was seeing ballistic integration and the supplements and doing
everything that they were asking me to do or guiding
(06:46):
me to do, and I was applying all of that.
She said, We've never ever seen anybody drop their numbers
like this in two months.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah it was two months.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
It was two months.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
So it got down to a seven point four.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, I got shelf. So I just we all just
kind of sat there and she's like, I want to
know what you're doing. I'm interested. Just tell me everything.
And I'm like, I can't. It's not just one thing,
it's it's a lot of things. Right, Treating the whole
body and the mind, the spirit, it's everything.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
It's nutrition.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
So VICKI, we have you share these stories, and you
wanted to share your story, and I thank you for that.
It's going to help many people. What would you say
to someone that's struggling with their health, how would you
encourage them?
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I would definitely encourage them to come here. Because I
work in the pharmaceutical industry. I manage a portion of
clinical study drug trials. And while I'm grateful that I
live in a time where there are life saving medications,
I also know the side effects of a lot of
those drugs that people are not aware of. And it's
not just treating one tiny thing. The information that takes
(07:55):
the deep dive into everything. It answers the why and
the how, and that is knowledge we don't get from
our Western medicine doctors. God bless them, and I'm very
thankful for them. But it's the bigger picture. I didn't
get this way overnight. It took me many years to
get in bad shape, right, So I know that it's
going to take a little bit more work to get
(08:16):
back to where I need to be. But the results
that I've had, I just feel so much better already
in three months, So don't be discouraged, don't give up.
There is help out there and there are people with
that knowledge that can guide you appropriately.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Well, thank you, Vicki, and now let's hear from Lorien
about her experience. Laurien, how did you first come to
holistic integration.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
I came into holistic integration because I actually knew somebody
who went here and got connected through a mutual friend
that we had similar health experiences and injuries, and he
had had a lot of success here and the doctors
I had weren't really trying at the time, so he
suggested I.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Come to Indiana and try this.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
So I have before the for all from a friend,
I had not heard of holistic integration, but it's been
a really good change. They do very comprehensive work, and
I had multiple things wrong with me at the same time,
so it's been really hard the last probably eight or
nine years, managing different doctors and kind of trying to
be my own hub for health, working with you know,
(09:20):
physical therapists and chiropractors and functional medicine doctors and trying
to make it all work together has been hard. But
Holistic Integration has been amazing because they have a lot
of really great staff that specialize in a lot of
those areas. So I had had a car accident and
mold poisoning from an apartment I was in, and so
(09:40):
at Holistic Integration, I've done both the structural side to
kind of help with the whiplash. And it was nine
years ago, so I've had a lot of nerve and
ligament damage just because it's been so long, and Holistic
Integration is really the first doctor I've worked with that
I've truly improved. So a lot of places all get
better for six months and then I start, but here
(10:01):
I feel like they actually got to the root cause
of why my atlas wasn't staying in place and even
referred me out to a different doctor for some ligament
stability when that wasn't something that they helped with. So
they play nicely with other doctors, which is really really helpful.
They're very professional in that way. But they also have
the functional medicine side, which I have done to try
(10:21):
and strengthen my liver. We've done everything from acupuncture to
diathermy to different supplements. Mold poisoning causes a lot of
different things, so I have digestive issues and it kind
of tears up any part of your system it can.
But they've been really helpful in trying to like reregulate
my heart and just get all my organs working again,
(10:42):
and getting me sleeping again.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
That was a really big side effect.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
I haven't slept well in like eight years, but I've
finally been able to sleep, which is also helping my
body recover. So yeah, there's been a lot of different
aspects we've been able to tackle here, all at the
same place at the same time, which is very helpful.
My advice would be to start so rather than later,
especially when it comes to health problems. Those tend to snowball.
(11:05):
They don't just get better and go away on their own.
And if you don't know the root cause, it's going
to be really really hard to fix ninety percent of
those issues, especially if you have had a car accident
or anything like that, even if you can't feel the damage.
I would just come get an assessment. It's not going
to be too much out of pocket, and at least
you're going to have information to move forward on. They're
(11:27):
really great here at letting you pick and choose your services.
So there have been different times that financially I've been
able to add something on or I've been needing to
work around something that's something they're really good at working with,
And at least then you have the information to decide
your trajectory and what you want to work on. And
even with lifestyle changes, you know things like that that
you can do your own at home. And on the
(11:50):
functional medicine side, I would say the same thing. If
you think there might be issues, you could even start
with some of the lower level tests, the prey through
profile or things like that that give you just really
basic information and then decide if you need to test further.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
So I think there's.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
Easy ways that you can kind of get your foot
in the door and get connected here and see what
resources might fit best for you in this season of life.
But then you're already connected for other seasons when you
might need other services that they provide.
Speaker 1 (12:19):

This is the Voice of Health with doctor Robert Prather,
the Voice of Health Wellness Tip featuring rapid release technology.
What professionals out there use the rapid release technology?
Speaker 2 (12:55):
It was invented by a chiropractor, and chiropractors actually are
really quite innovative. I've come up with quite a few devices,
So chiropractors, obviously we're the first ones to start using it.
Physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists are also using athletic
trainers in NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA, so it's very important
for sports. A lot of Olympic athletes are using that
(13:19):
to maintain the function of their body. So for sports,
for recovery even after surgeries. Heady clinics are using it.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
I've even taking a softer head over someone's cranium and
that back occiput area. Sure, and you know we have
sutures in our skull and work the sutures with it.
The headache people just love that.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Do you just see people kind of drifting off?
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Uh huh?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
So during the treatment if you're not careful, I mean,
people are just going to fall asleep on you.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
That's all right TMJ. Using that small head yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Temper mandibular joint syndrome can be very, very devastating to people.
Getting that under control can really help out. One of
the things that's very interesting is that we use it
for people with depression. Even one of the things that
occurs with depression. Pain can kind of kick that off.
And then also the levator scapula. As you release that,
then all of a sudden people can start breathing.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Those are up in the neck area, that upper back.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
We call those the tension muscle headaches. Getting that release
can actually change people's anxiety levels and decrease third depression.

You're listening to the Voice of Health with doctor Robert
Prather of Holistic Integration, the most comprehensive wellness center in
the Midwest. This week we're featuring inspiring patient success stories
from Holistic Integration, and now let's hear from Lynn Lynn.
(16:14):
What first brought you to Holistic Integration?
Speaker 6 (16:17):
I started having heart problems in twenty three and I
didn't like the results the medical industry gave me of
taking pills, and I heard about the Holistic Heart Program.
So I came and saw you all on February twenty ninth,
joined your program after the meeting and the results are outstanding.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Oh so you were having heart problems?
Speaker 6 (16:35):
Yes? Yeah, I was having chest pains maybe three times
a day, maybe three times an hour. Each day was different.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Wow? And so you went to get help medically? And
what was it about it that you weren't satisfied with?
Speaker 6 (16:52):
The doctors wanted me to take a blood pressure pill
and a cholesterol pill. They told me the cholesterol pill
wouldn't clean the blockage, it might help, And I asked
him how much better blood pressure they wanted than one
ten over sixty four and he said it'll reprogram your body.
I didn't like those answers.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
You did, okay? So how did you find us the
Holistic Heart Program?
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Here?
Speaker 6 (17:13):
I heard your radio program and it was promoting your
Holistic Heart program was going to be on the following Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
So came in and did the diagnostics and what did
they show?
Speaker 6 (17:26):
The diagnostics? On the ANS machine? Showed my circulatory was
working at seventy two percent. Doc said he could improve
that for me and with the use of vitamins, herbs, enzymes,
the ECP machine for thirty five treatments. At the end
of that cycle, my ANS test was up to eighty four.
Y'all put a heart monitor on me the initial test.
(17:48):
Also heart monitor showed my heart was running on the
secondary circuit. At the end of the thirty five treatments,
wearing the heart monitor, my heart's on the primary circuit now.
And I can brag on you my last chest pain
was how many months ago?
Speaker 1 (18:02):
About six six months? Wonderful. So then let's talk about
the treatment the Holistic Heart program, because you did more
than just the ECP, which is external conterpulsation therapy. What
other services did you receive under that program?
Speaker 6 (18:18):
He did exercise therapy on me. We did diathermy on
my kidneys and on my feet. We also did acupuncture
on my meridians to help the stimulate the flow of
good health. And they taught me movements to help stretch
my heart and keep my muscles in better shape for
my better health would be the right way to put it.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Yeah, and it's nice to see that all that works
together holistically for you.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Yeah, So how did the staff treat you?
Speaker 6 (18:47):
Staff treating me excellent. I've got a nineteen new friends
since I came.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Here, nineteen new friends. Well, we were talking. It was
about a month ago you were in for treatment, and
I said, well, well, what did I think? I said,
I haven't seen you in a while. What do you
have to thinking?
Speaker 4 (19:04):
You were going to tell me?
Speaker 1 (19:05):
You know something normal? Right, tell our listeners what you
just did, which is pretty phenomenal.
Speaker 6 (19:11):
I went to Nepal and rode a motorcycle in the
Himalaya Mountains for twelve days. So after I got to
feeling better, I thought, you know, as I'm getting older,
I need to do something before I'm too old to
do it. And I got to looking around at the
Tibetan prayer wheels and the second time I looked that
up on the internet, it popped up, ride a motorcycle
(19:32):
and get to the Buddhist temples. So all in the
same fourteen day period, I got to spend Tibetan prayer
wheels on a Tibetan temple, Buddhist.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Simple huh, on a motorcycle.
Speaker 6 (19:43):
We rode the motorcycles for the fourteen days in harsh environments,
as far as their roads over there make our potholes
look easy.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
So is that something you would have been able to
do before the Holistic heart program.
Speaker 6 (19:57):
A year ago? I would not have because my body
was acting like it was wanting to fail on me.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Uh huh. Yeah, So you call the motorcycles, Yes, I
love that. So one thing you talked about is the
diagnostics that were done. You had the heart monitor. Did
you do the heart monitor twice initially?
Speaker 6 (20:16):
And I did it once initially, and the prey through
panel on the blood work, and the ANS.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Machine yes, and ANS stands for the Autonomic Nervous System test. Yes,
that's one of the diagnostics we've done. And did you
get some answers from those diagnostics?
Speaker 6 (20:33):
Yes? You showed me what was good and bad in
my blood, and ninety percent of it was good. The
heart monitor showed me that my heart was running on
the secondary circuit, which explained where my pains were coming from.
And then the ANS machine showed me that my circulatory
was down. So then through u All's efforts, I focused
(20:56):
hard on U All's efforts made it I was here
three days a week and I didn't. But in a
three month period, I didn't miss but twice taking my
vitamins at the right time. I was focused on my
health because I got it. You got to be your
number one advocate for your own body.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Mm hmm that's right. What would you say to someone
listening to encourage them? Maybe they've been discouraged by information
they've received. How would you encourage that?
Speaker 6 (21:23):
I would tell them to come on in, come see
the team, ask them. It doesn't cost thing to ask
them what they can do to help you and have
them give you some input if you choose. So after
you get the test run, they'll be able to give
you more input on what your body's doing and what
they can do for you.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah, and you can have nineteen new friends. Yes. So
besides riding a motorcycle in the Himalayan mountains, how else
has your life changed? Well?
Speaker 7 (21:52):
I was over.
Speaker 6 (21:52):
I had a day off the bike, so I jumped
off a mountain with a guide. We paraglided for twenty minutes.
Two years ago, I wouldn't have done that.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
So come to Holistic Heart. Do the Holistic Heart program
if you want. Well, thank you Lynn for sharing your
story and I know you've you've shared it with other people.
You're an encouragement and a joy when you're here at
the office. So thank you, and.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
It's fun to be here. Makes me feel better.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Thank you, Lynn, And now let's hear from Mike. Mike,
how did you first hear about holistic integration?
Speaker 8 (22:33):
I heard doctor Prayther on the radio and it just
intrigued me. My wife had seen a holistic doctor for
years and had great success, and you know, it was
just listening to it. It was like it just made
sense to me, you know, other than here, take this
pill and what have you. So I heard the radio
and I thought, oh, they got a podcast. So I
started looking at it and I'm thinking of your covering
vitamin D and your cover and all the different things
(22:55):
and explaining all those things. And it was an education obviously.
So what really drew to it just because you start going, wow,
that makes perfect sense. Why do we not do that?
You know, everybody's great here. I mean they're just super friendly.
My son just recently started to and he's just like, man, Dad,
those people are so nice. I said, no, they're genuine,
really good people. Oh they found my cholesterol was high.
(23:16):
I knew that my trichlist rides were high, Vitamin D
level was low, testosterone was low, just lots of different things,
you know, things that most doctors would never check. I'm
doing lots of supplements. The supplements I've taken over the
last year, my testosterume's gone up one hundred and fifty points,
which is just by taking supplements. Clesterol's gone down, triglystrides
(23:37):
have gone down. When I changed my diet. My wife's
working on me, but no just drastic improvements that The
last test I did was or they check your heart.
I tested really well, like eighty out of one hundred,
which were sixty four years old. I was pretty pleased
with so I tested, hired my thirty eight year old sons.
We did the ECP. I lost my father at fifty
two of a massive heart attack. My mother died of
(23:58):
congestive heart disease, but she was in her eighties. She'd
lived along long life but very healthy until the last
few months. But I just wanted to stay out in
front of the heart thing. It was one of those
things that I looked at and I'm thinking, you know,
this makes a lot of sense. It's so simple and
makes so much sense. So I did that and it
felt great afterward. I can really tell the difference in
the way I feel, and I think the ECP I
(24:20):
think it's been.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
A couple of years ago. It was post COVID.
Speaker 8 (24:22):
I think when I did that a couple more years
we'll do it again in the infrared sona, which I've
done three of those now, and that thing's amazing. I
might have to get one of those at home. That
think's pretty cool. It's kind of like I've heard this analogy.
Your body's like your car you haven't worked on. You
take it somewhere you trust who are going to fix
it properly, and you know you can go to the doctor,
(24:45):
a regular physician. I'm not slamming them, but I'm just
I've gone there, you know, and they don't have the answers.
My son went and he said, asked his doctor for
indoor kinology. He says, will you check my vitamin D?
And he said, why would I do that? I mean
his vitamin D was fifteen and it's in the tank.
So those are the kind of things I think to
take it look at something different.
Speaker 9 (25:04):
You know.
Speaker 8 (25:04):
I've always said, if the world is for it, it's
probably something wrong with it, and if the world's against it,
there's probably some truth in it. But you know, an
in doctor Breath's story of his grave disease, my wife
had Graves disease. Wish we'd have known what we knew now,
the famous Bob Seger line, which I didn't know now
what I didn't know that? But anyway, going back to
(25:26):
the Graves disease, you know, my wife had her thyroid radiated,
and you know, we look back and we go, gosh,
if we'd just known something different and there was no
alternative back then, this is what you got to do,
and you got to do it now.
Speaker 1 (25:36):

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Go, did you know you're allergic to WHET?
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I did not know that, she said, Do you even know
a lot of gluten.
Speaker 8 (26:12):
I don't know what gluton is, but yes, I would say, yes.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
I think I'm mostly gluten. To be honest with you.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
And she gave me a book of things that have
gluten in it. You know what has gluten in it?
Every day?
Speaker 7 (26:31):
I said, check again, maybe it's just cancer. I didn't
take it.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
Well.
Speaker 7 (26:40):
Have you tried gluten free stuff?
Speaker 4 (26:43):
And nege cluting?

Robert Prether, host of the Voice of Health Radio. Those
who attend will receive twenty percent off our Preythor Profile
blood Work, our most comprehensive diagnostic panel that provides the
(27:35):
blueprint to your health? What is the PREYTHERER profile?
Speaker 4 (27:38):
What does it include?
Speaker 2 (27:40):
When I first started to practice, i'd come up with
a panel on bloodwork because when I was going through
the lab tests that they were offering me, the panels
weren't thorough enough. It wasn't anything that I considered up
to part. So I designed out a panel and then
I went to the labs and said, hey, hey, could
(28:00):
you bundle this and make it cheaper for my patients
because this is the standard of what I would like
to get. So the Praithro profile is now in all
the major national labs as one of the profiles that
they offer. But it really covers anything from A to
Z that could be off and so it gives you
a good basis of where to start and then you
(28:21):
can branch out from there. It really leaves no stone untouched.

I have Lisa Prather and you're listening to the Voice
of Health with doctor Robert Prather of Holistic Integration, where
we get to the root cause of your health issue.
This week we're featuring inspiring patient success stories from Holistic Integration.
And now let's welcome John to the show. Thanks for
(31:36):
having me, Thank you for wanting to share your story.
You started how long ago coming into Holistic Integration.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
It would have been about six years ago.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
And what did you initially come in for.
Speaker 10 (31:48):
Initially, I had herniated a disc in my back pretty
severely and nursed it back to health without surgery.
Speaker 4 (31:57):
Coming in here you got to treat it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 10 (32:00):
It took about a year of consistently coming in and
doing the work that you all had given me to
do at home, but nurse it back to health completely.
And then you know, life got in the way, kind
of stopped doing the things that I was told to do,
and we ended up screwing it up again.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
That's why I'm here today.
Speaker 10 (32:25):
But you knew where to come, yes, yes, thankfully, thankfully,
I know where to come whenever anything serious happens.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
You all are my primary care doctors.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
So what brought you in the second time here?
Speaker 4 (32:41):
It was a different disc or the other side.
Speaker 10 (32:45):
So I had severe sciatica in my left leg the
first time and my right leg the second.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Time too, young guy, Yeah, so what are you doing?
Speaker 10 (32:55):
I was lifting weights, picking things up and putting things out,
heavy things.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yes, so tell us what kind of services you're getting
here and what kind of results you're getting.
Speaker 10 (33:06):
So I have the vibrational therapy obviously, I get adjusted
every time I come in. I get acupuncture every time
I come in, and the MMT as well. So there
get the motion back because I did have to opt
for surgery this second time. So right now it's just
(33:29):
getting things back and loose because it's tight right now, right.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Yeah, So you did get the surgery and now you're
doing the therapy here.
Speaker 10 (33:38):
Yes, okay, we tried to not do the surgery, but
it was it was pretty bad.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
Yeah, and people will ask us, you know, can you
help us? Can you adjust us after surgery? And we can.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
It does help.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
So what changes have you seen since coming into holistic integration?
Speaker 10 (33:58):
Oh, I mean I feel like a new person versus beforehand.
I mean it was pretty hard to even get out
of bed, you know, anything, from driving to where I'm
a residential HVAC technician. So I'm out in the field
carrying tools and all that stuff, and it got to
the point where it's like, I can't do.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
This right now, it's your livelihood. Yeah, So that was
after the surgery.
Speaker 10 (34:25):
After the surgery, felt like a million bucks. And then
started coming in here and we're just nursing me back
to normalcy.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
So functionally, you know, just living life. What have you
noticed that's improved. Is your stamina and endurance improving?
Speaker 10 (34:46):
Oh yeah, I'm able to do cardio, I'm able to
walk the dog. I'm able to go to the gym. Obviously,
nothing crazy at the gym, And I don't think that
we'll ever get back to that because I would not
wish this, you know, my worst enemy. But yeah, generally speaking,
just getting out of bed, the things that you take
(35:07):
for granted, I'm able to do now.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Right, So let's talk about the second time you hurt
yourself living heavy things, get at the gym. Yes, and
came into holistic integration, saw doctor Dodge and at that time,
what did he recommend?
Speaker 10 (35:25):
At the time, I started coming in for about a
month and we just wanted to see how I progressed.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Am I getting better? Am I getting worse.
Speaker 10 (35:34):
Is there any progress that's going to be able to
be made without having surgery? And about a month in
I think I came in doubled over one day, almost
in tears, and he said, okay, let's get an MRI.
Went and got an MRI, and after consulting with you
all thought that that was probably our best option.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
Is the surgery? Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (35:58):
And then after the surgery, long was it before you
came back in for your therapy?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
It was a couple of weeks.
Speaker 10 (36:04):
So as soon as I got cleared from my doctor
to do physical therapy, was in the front door here.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Yeah. Yeah, wonderful.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
How do you like working with our staff because I
know they really like working with you.
Speaker 10 (36:17):
I'm the people person, So you guys are great. I
enjoy coming in here every time.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Yeah, I smile like you have a lot of fun.
Speaker 10 (36:26):
Yes, Yes, we built a relationship, right, it's a relationship. Yeah,
so's it's nice to work with people that you trust
and have a relationship with.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Yeah, and you knew when you're at your back where
to call.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
You had been here already and you knew the result.
So you know, if someone out there is listening and
you've been you've listened to our podcast for how long
has it been a while.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Since I knew it existed?
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (36:53):
The first episode that I listened to was the gentleman
who was the radio show.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Host, Oh Michael in his stories?
Speaker 4 (37:01):
Yes, quite a story.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Yes. And then you have a friend that you said
in Greece that's listening to the podcast.
Speaker 4 (37:07):
Yes, yeah, Okay, let's.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Talk about you know, someone listening like you has low
back pain.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
How would you encourage that?
Speaker 10 (37:16):
Well, I would recommend them to not go to a surgeon,
immediately seek out options that can get to the root cause,
which is what you all do. If you're in Greece
or you're in a different country, it's going to be
hard for you to get here.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
But my number one recommendation would become here.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Yeah, because it's not real convenient for you.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
Right you live? How far away it is about an
hour south of here.
Speaker 10 (37:43):
So whenever it has first happened, I went to a
local chiropractor and they just nobody's effort hit it like
you guys, it's you guys are on point.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Thank you. John. Let's now hear Robin's story. So what
brought you to holistic integration?
Speaker 9 (38:02):
I was in a car accident back in the mid
two thousands and really walked around for several years in pain,
you know, just never really got better. Saught a lot
of different things. Where I was living at the time,
I was actually traveling up the coast in New Hampshire
to see a NUKA reper cervical chiropractor. I had some relief,
(38:24):
but it was very limited. You know, It's almost like
I kept feeling like I was taking three steps forward
and five steps backwards. You know, I really just wasn't
getting good permanent relief. And then I came to Indiana
for work and found you all then and actually ended
up walking out my first pain free day in five years.
(38:48):
It was pretty quick in fact, when I did come
in and see Doc for the first time and find
out from X rays because of the complexity of my misalignment,
and he even told me it was a very common
issue easily to happen that they were actually adjusting me
on the wrong side. And that's why I believe that,
(39:09):
you know, once he identified that was able to adjust
me correctly, that I was able to get some pretty
quick and fast and lasting relief. So, you know, one
of the things early on, because we kind of looked
at this as a bigger picture, not just my neck.
I was having some other like generalized pain syndromes. The
word fibermyalga was thrown out. One of the things Doc
(39:32):
did was he did some food sensitivity testing and I
found out that I had a gluten sensitivity and was
able to make some pretty big changes by avoiding and
sometimes eliminating gluten in my diet. I make a point
in coming in three or four times a year as
a matter of fact, and centralizing that trip around coming
(39:54):
here getting adjusted. I've done the acupuncture treatments, the curricular there,
and of course I do the eds's make sure I'm
on the right supplements, and I'm a fan of homeopathics,
so I'm able to get those as well. I've used
some of the medical services here in the past lab.
(40:14):
I've done the nutritional consults and food allergy testing. I've
even done some of the therapies, including the ECP. There
was this one time where I was experiencing some heart
rhythm changes at really rapid heart rate. I was here
at the office and I literally was walking down the
(40:34):
hall and met doctor Praether face to face, and he
took one look at me and was like, there's something wrong,
and he just looked at me for a second, and
I don't even remember how he touched me, but he
touched me, and my heart rate just completely normalized. Like
the excitability I was feeling completely stopped. He can just
(40:55):
look at you and tell oftentimes what you need. It's
pretty amazing. It's really hard stay awake when you have
craniils eagle. It's so relaxing, so relaxing.
Speaker 7 (41:05):
You know.
Speaker 9 (41:05):
It really has helped me a lot with again relaxing
if I was feeling a little bit anxious or whatnot.
The other thing I noticed when I had it is
that I was having a little bit of tonight's ringing
in my ears, and it was gone after I had
a session of cranial cycle therapy. First of all, I
would hope that I could actually have that conversation when
(41:28):
someone wasn't having any issues, because I think it's a
great thing to tap into to maintain your health and stay,
you know, in that place where you as you get older,
you know you are living your life to the fullest.
But if there is someone who is experiencing pain or
having those troubles, especially if you know they've sought help
(41:50):
on the outside of things, and I'll call it regular
medicine and not had success lasting success. I would say,
there's so much here that's available. Healing and living pain
free is available, you just have to try it.
Speaker 1 (42:06):

Cohatch in Carmel. You'll learn how nutrition, stress management, detoxification,
and proper supplementation can help your body adapt and thrive
during the busiest time of year. You'll hear from doctor
Robert Prather, host of the Voice of Health Radio, and
I think that whole month of December puts people in
a stress.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Mode absolutely in any type of a measurement that you're
looking at, the increase in suicides, the increase in hospitalizations
for stress, is there an increase in death and there's
also an increase in deaths around the holidays, around the birthdays.
Those are stressors in our lives.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
Now.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Normally we think of those as positive things, but they're
also a stressor for a lot of people. Even in
the best of circumstances, there's an increase in stress.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Are the holidays more stressful?
Speaker 2 (43:56):
Yes, the holidays are more stressful, and there's a lot
lot of reasons for that. One. There's greater demands on ourselves.
You know, you have all these expectations. There's a lot
more people that you're cooking for, there is cleaning, you
have more guests coming over. There's this stress on getting
the proper gifts, so there's more time. Issues that are involved.
(44:18):
You have to decorate the house. There's all these have
to's that people think about, and a lot of expectations,
a lot of expectations. There's holiday plays, there is less
sleep oftentimes, there is a change in diet, the increase
in sugar, there is more alcohol intake. All of these
contribute to stressors in our lives and can throw us
off at homeostasis and be definitely involved in different types
(44:41):
of disease processes. The Center of Disease Control says that
ninety percent of all diseases the underlying cause of stress.
You know, even putting on weight, the weight around the
middle of what they call brown fat, is almost always
related to stressors. Increase in cortisol levels will actually make
you overweight. So even the disease of obesity can be
(45:04):
related to stress. Dealing with stress, understanding how to work
with that, getting help. You don't have to do this
all alone. Are all aspects of one's health and wellbeing.

(45:58):
Robert Prather of Holistic Inner, where our mission is restoring
hope to our patients. This week we're featuring inspiring patient
success stories from Holistic Integration, and we're talking with Caleb. Caleb,
what first brought you to Holistic Integration.
Speaker 11 (46:16):
Well, I've had a chronic migraine for over the past
two years. I've been to dozens and dozens of doctors.
I've had absolutely nothing that could break it, stop it.
Speaker 7 (46:27):
No doctors could figure it out.
Speaker 11 (46:29):
In just about a month and a half ago or so,
my local chiropractor back where I'm from heard your Guys'
podcast recommended us to you, heard that you had one
hundred percent success rate with migraines.
Speaker 7 (46:41):
And since then, you're right? And how long ago was that?
Speaker 11 (46:46):
Probably a little over a month ago was my first
official appointment.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
Wow, you said you had migraines, chronic migraines for over
two years.
Speaker 7 (46:54):
That's right, and you're a young man. Oh yeah, yeah,
this is.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
During your high school year. How did that affect your life?
Speaker 7 (47:03):
Well?
Speaker 11 (47:03):
Going back even further back in first grade was the
first time I ever remember having a migraine.
Speaker 7 (47:08):
Since then, of course, I've had migraines headaches, just randomly.
Speaker 11 (47:13):
Sixth grade, I had one bad enough that my doctor
prescribed me suma tripped in. After that, I take my
migraine medicine, laid down and it would work.
Speaker 9 (47:22):
Well.
Speaker 11 (47:22):
A little over two years ago, February twenty sixth it
was a Sunday afternoon, probably around eleven o'clock in the
almost afternoon. Yeah, got a migraine. Took some ibuprofen to
start out with. That didn't help, just got worse. Took
my migraine medicine that also didn't work, and it just
hasn't left since. Since then, I've seen dozens of neurologists.
(47:42):
I've seen indochronology, rheumatology, dermatology, multiple physical therapists, chiropractors, you
name it, I've seen them.
Speaker 7 (47:50):
Were you able to go to school? What was your
social life?
Speaker 4 (47:53):
Like my life.
Speaker 11 (47:54):
I was very fortunate that we started homeschooling me just
a little while.
Speaker 7 (47:58):
Before this started.
Speaker 11 (47:59):
Oka of that, I was able to work ahead a
bit before the migraine. But ever since then, my memory's
been absolutely nothing compared to what it was.
Speaker 7 (48:07):
I haven't been able to complete my school.
Speaker 11 (48:09):
I haven't been able to go to work nearly as much,
if at all. It's been almost completely debilitating.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Yeah, and this was two years ago. It's amazing. You
know the date and the time you heard about us
from your chiropractor. That's right, and you travel how far
to see us?
Speaker 7 (48:26):
A little over an hour each day there and back.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
Tell me about your first appointment. What was that like?
Speaker 7 (48:34):
First appointment?
Speaker 11 (48:35):
And now keep in mind, anytime I've gone to another appointment,
all the doctors are like, well, we.
Speaker 7 (48:40):
Can throw some more medications at you. We can try this,
we can try that.
Speaker 11 (48:44):
Nothing's actually sounded hopeful. Yeah, there's not been too much confident.
But whenever I came in here, doctor Prayther walked in
the room. He had me stand up. He looked at
me in the eyes. The first thing he said to
me was like, oh.
Speaker 7 (48:58):
Yeah, we can fix this. So you had help absolutely wonderful.
Speaker 11 (49:03):
He's had confidence like no other doctor has, no other physician,
and anytime that any of them would examine me, it
was different than what he would do, and he was
able to start listing and naming the problems, whereas other
doctors are like, oh, we.
Speaker 7 (49:18):
Don't know that was your first appointment.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Uh huh, yeah, I'm sure you've got X rays three
your spine, that's right, Yeah, what did they find out
for your diagnostics?
Speaker 11 (49:28):
Ironically, just three months or so before that, I've had
back issues for a while, like back pain, and one
of my neurologists finally thought, okay, maybe that could be related.
So I had some MRIs that both my neck and spine.
They thought they found some stuff in it. I went
to neurosurgery to have that reviewed. They said, no, everything's fine.
(49:51):
And the couple neurologists other ones that I've seen since then,
I've all said the same thing. Whenever I got the
x rays back, and doctor Dodge and doctor Praither went.
Speaker 7 (49:59):
Over them with me. Even I could see with an untrained.
Speaker 11 (50:02):
Eye how out of place my back is and my
neck gets straight where it's supposed to be, curved, curve
where it's supposed to be straight.
Speaker 7 (50:09):
I've got level scoliosis in my spine.
Speaker 11 (50:11):
It's the curves are exaggerated in some areas and non
existent in others.
Speaker 7 (50:15):
It's a mess.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
And you saw that because I writ that X ray
and you get a nice X ray report.
Speaker 7 (50:22):
Oh yeah, then what happened?
Speaker 1 (50:23):
You got your first adjustment at Las orthogonal adjustment.
Speaker 6 (50:27):
That's right.
Speaker 7 (50:28):
What did you think of that? What was your experience?
Speaker 11 (50:30):
It was kind of funny because the way that I
would describe it to relatives that would ask me afterwards
is I'd have my head laying down on this funny
pillow sort of thing, and then this somewhat miniaturized science
fiction shot needle coming down to rest towards the back
of the ear, just behind my ear lobe. Doctor Prayther
(50:51):
steps on. It makes a tiny spit of movement. You
hardly feel anything. But once I sat back up and
got reevaluated, it was nine and day difference.
Speaker 7 (51:02):
It was absolutely incredible. You've been coming a month now,
that's right. And what has been the result since then?
Speaker 11 (51:09):
I've had more improvement through my migraine and other areas
as well than any other doctor, any other physician, chiropractor,
physical therapist, you name it. I've had more improvement, more
quality of life. I've been able to walk around with
my eyes open compared to just sitting in my chair
(51:30):
in my bed twenty four to seven like I used to.
Speaker 1 (51:32):
I remember the first time you came in, we had
to put you in a dark room.
Speaker 7 (51:35):
That's right. Yeah, have anymore?
Speaker 4 (51:37):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
I remember talking to you. I don't know if it
was two weeks after. You're out with your friends playing pickleballs.
Speaker 7 (51:47):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
You hadn't been able to do talk about how your
life has changed.
Speaker 11 (51:51):
Well, going back just a little bit more, yet again,
my migraine is something completely different. I've had headaches than
you have, and then whatever I have now is something
completely different. Okay, and physical activity is one of my
biggest triggers, even bigger than how noise and sound would
be for a normal migraine. So even walking around like
(52:13):
my neighborhood would be something that would completely wipe me out.
I might be down for the next couple of days,
if not weak or two let alone doing something like
pickleball or airsoft probably my favorite physical activity ever, but
recently after doctor Praether and doctor Dodge helped.
Speaker 7 (52:30):
Readjust my spine. They set my head on.
Speaker 11 (52:34):
Street by readjusting my at list other things to help
release all sorts of tension and detox my body. And
then whenever he readjusted my palette, it just kind of
topped things off. And after that I was able to
be walking around. I was able to run a little bit, lifts,
light weights, and then I was even able to play
a little bit of pickleball and not get worse the
next day. I was able to do them every day
(52:56):
in a row, which is something I haven't been able
to do since his migraines started.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Wow, that's wonderful. You feel like you have your life back.
Speaker 7 (53:03):
Oh yeah, of course I have my good days and
bad days.
Speaker 11 (53:06):
I'm not all the way better, but this is the
best I've consistently been ever since it started.
Speaker 7 (53:11):
Right, and it's only been a month. Exactly. What would
you like to say that.
Speaker 1 (53:15):
You know, maybe someone listening to this has had my
grains or has given up hope.
Speaker 7 (53:21):
What would you say to them?
Speaker 11 (53:23):
I'd say that there's always answers, because that was something
that I always wanted to look for.
Speaker 7 (53:26):
I didn't want to just be better.
Speaker 11 (53:28):
I wanted to know why I was bad and that
I can say better. Yeah, this place has given me
more answers and more solutions to all my questions than
any other place combined.
Speaker 7 (53:38):
Wonderful.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
Well, thank you for sharing your story, King, of course,
anything else you'd like to share.
Speaker 11 (53:43):
It's almost every doctor's office that I've ever been into,
it's almost as if they don't care.
Speaker 7 (53:48):
And now you might have a good doctor, you might
have a good.
Speaker 11 (53:51):
Receptionist, you might have a good nurse, But here it's
a combination of all of it.
Speaker 7 (53:55):
I haven't found a single team member that I don't
like that isn't.
Speaker 11 (53:58):
Caring, that's always wondering how I am, how I've been doing,
what my life has been like.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
M h.
Speaker 11 (54:04):
Everybody's been so nice, so kind, and it makes me
so much happier to be able to commentiz each and
every time.
