(00:01):
Hey, guys, Christmas it's it'sjust a week away. Can you believe
it? Wow? Christmas just aweek away. I am so excited.
I am so happy about this information. Christmas just a week away. Wow.
Wow, screw you. I hopeyou and your whole family have a
(00:21):
nice Christmas. Man that was uncalledfor? Yeah say that all right?
Well, welcome back, as alwaysto the w the last podcast probably of
the year, The w Rits Podcastepisode Christmas. We're not gonna number this
(00:41):
one. We're just gonna call itChristmas. It's our twenty fifth episode because
that's when Christmas is. Yeah, sure, yeah, whatever, okay,
whatever, yeah whatever I said.Well, will welcome as always to my
basement, where we're gonna record someworthless gibber jabber for an hour, except
just gonna be worthless because no,no, no, not worthless. We
(01:02):
had to talk to our pastor aboutthis. What we talk about on here
is very very worthwhile, and ifit's worthless, that means we're in big
trouble. So that's right. We'regoing to be figuring out today whether listening
to Christmas music before Thanksgiving is asin. Yeah, we'll talk about that.
I'm going to be Christmas music ingeneral, just because oh yeah,
(01:23):
I think it's a good topic toand something called Spotify rapped came out,
so we're gonna talk about it.To look at, this is gonna be
the Christmas Music podcast, because we'regonna Christmas slash music podcast because I didn't
listen. I didn't listen to Christmasmusic all year. My rap does not
have any Christmas music on it.Fair enough, But we're also going to
end the podcast with a very famousChristmas song. We're not gonna tell you
(01:46):
yet, but but you probably alreadyknow it's gonna be. It's gonna be
a very very fantastic we're gonna coverit, so it's actually good. Yes,
we're going to defrost it. Wellm hm. Anyway, let's let's
get started. Why don't you shareyour opinions on Christmas music? Okay?
All right, Well, I thinkthe easiest way for me to share my
(02:06):
opinion is to say, first ofall, that my opinion on Christmas music.
Okay, So what I'm about tosay about Christmas music applies to most
Christmas music that is played on theradio right now. Radio. Now here's
the thing. I like the oldhymn Silent night, Little Town of Bethlem
all that stuff. It's great.Okay, I don't like really listening to
(02:27):
it, but as far as singingit in church goes, that's great.
I like a lot of classic Christmasmusic, you know, a lot of
the like the secular stuff from thefifties or you know, even up to
really I guess the seventies or theeighties. I think is pretty like Paul
McCartney, I haven't heard simply havinga wonderful Christmas time. That's a good
song. Well, unlike the radiostations, I haven't heard a lot of
(02:50):
new Christmas music played like it's alwaysthe same, that's all. Yeah,
well I'm talking. You know, once you get into the nineties, that's
when you start to get to wherea lot of the pop Christmas music started,
which especially on Christian radio. Incase you haven't notice a lot of
Christian music or Christmas music. Ratherit's just normal pop songs with jingle bells
added to them, or covers ofold songs that you know didn't need to
(03:13):
become example, like a really badChristmas song. They came out in that
era. When when in the nineties, in the nineties, like what you
said, all I want for Christmas? Is you terrible song? Fair enough?
I don't like Last Christmas by Whameither. I think that came out
in the seventies, though probably don't. I don't remember somewhere around there.
But overall, I would say I'mnot really a fan of Christmas music.
(03:36):
If Christmas music as a genre weresomething I had to rate, I would
give it a two out of ten. Out of five, well, five,
that's still pretty. It's pretty low. It's pretty low. It's just
not my jam. You know, there's no rock Christmas music really like.
Well, do I have news foryou. There's a there's a band called
(03:57):
August Burns Red and they did abunch of metal covers of Christmas songs and
they're they're pretty, they're pretty, they go pretty hard. Well, maybe
I have to listen to to sendyou the playlist, but just just generally,
you know, it's not my favoritegenre, right, Okay, I
prefer other genres. Wh What doyou think about listen? Here here's the
big question. When do you thinkyou should start listening to Christmas music once?
(04:19):
Well, Well, here's the thing, right, what's your opinion on
that? I think it is permissibletoo, So I'm doing a band thing,
right, I'm doing a band thingwith some friends of mine, and
we're gonna be doing some Christmas songs. We started practicing those Christmas songs back
in October, of course, andI'm part of choir and we started practicing
the Christmas songs like yeah, inOctober. So if you're doing if you're
(04:40):
doing that, that's fine. Youcan start whenever you want to. Uh
for your own pleasure, though,I feel like you got to wait until
at least Thanksgiving, right, Youhave to let November breathe. November is
not the month of Christmas. Okay, you don't think so. You can
reserve that privilege for December. ButNovember is not the month of Christmas.
It's the month of Thanksgiving where youhave all these nice harvest decorations and you
(05:04):
look forward to the turkey and youkeep the dang gifts out of your mind
for a couple more weeks. Sure, So there's no there's no like,
there's not a lot of Thanksgiving songs. That's unfortunate. There's a couple,
there's a there's a handful. Yeah, Thanksgiving gets the raw into the deal
that there's not a lot of Thanksgivingcarols. Now, I would say that
after Thanksgiving it's acceptable, But Ipersonally don't really like Christmas music, so
(05:29):
I only listen to it probably inabout the five days leading up to Christmas,
because then it's like Christmas is soclose, you know, I can
get into the spirit, right,I don't have a bunch of school or
work or whatever else to get throughbefore Christmas is here. Is like Christmas
is upon me. I can startenjoying it. And yes, I will
admit that a lot of Christmas musicdoes contribute to the Christmas mood, just
(05:49):
because it's traditional. You know, there are the songs that you know that
you're always going to hear around Christmastime, right of course, and even
if you don't like them, they'redefinitely a part of Christmas. So I'm
okay, yeah, exactly, I'mokay with listening to those, you know,
when it's actually getting close to Christmas. But before Thanksgiving it's just like
why why? But what what's yourview? What's your view? Let's let's
(06:13):
have it before we move on.I just want to know, you know,
what's your favorite and least favorite Christmassong, you know, just just
to get like general opinions from you, Uh, my least favorite. My
least savor would have to be anymodern like pop styled cover of some old
(06:33):
hymn right fair enough, I hear. I hear a few of those,
like you know, and all ofthem are bad because they're just trying to
do something with the song that wasn'treally intended. So all those are bad.
My favorite. I guess it's justthe things that the songs that remind
me of Christmas the most, youknow, like simply having one for Christmas,
(06:54):
simon know I mentioned that one,Uh, jingle Bells is a good
song. Interesting one it is isa good one as well. That one's
fun. I always saw whenever wheneversomebody mentions jingle Bells, I always it
always brings me back to like whenI was first learning piano, because I
was like one of the first songsI learned on piano, because it's such
a it's such a simple place. It's it's pretty much like the group of
(07:24):
three notes. Yeah, it's it'sit's pretty. It's one. It's probably
the simplest Christmas song to play inpiano, unless you like add a lot
of extra flair to it. Well, I've seen done, which is really
cool. Yeah, I'm sure that'simpressive. But what do you think I
think so I I used to be. I used to be one of those
people who only really I only passivelycared about Christmas music, and I also,
(07:46):
you know, would I was oneof those die hard people who said
no Christmas music until that day afterThanksgiving at least. But then as I
got older, I started to appreciateChristmas music more because I just started to
love it more as I grew up. I don't know. As a kid,
I loved it for Christmas or themusic both. Okay, Well,
(08:07):
as a kid, I like Iliked it sort of for superficial reasons.
Hyeah, you know, I'm gonnaadmit that you want a kid I like
that for superficial reasons. But asI got older, I started to appreciate
more the aesthetic more because I lovethe Christmas aesthetic. I love all the
decorations. I think it's really beautiful. It's just ran by you know,
mega corporations who make a lot ofmoney off of it. Okay, buddy,
(08:28):
if you want to be negative aboutit, I'm sorry. I like
to I like to enjoy the positiveparts. Now I like all the theming
and stuff, and yet sure there'sa lot of commercialism that goes on during
Christmas time, but I like tomove past that. I like to just
focus on the positive things I like. I like. I like the winter
time. I like the coziness thatyou feel. I like I like the
(08:48):
coziness when you feel when it's likeChristmas morning or like Christmas evening and that's
like snowy outside and super cold, but you're inside. You got like the
fireplace on, you got candles soit smells, got Christmas scented candle so
it smells all nice. Then youyou got your like hot drink, and
you're just like watching a Christmas We'rejust listening to Christmas music, right,
(09:09):
Like, I like, I loveChristmas music now. I think it's great.
I'm sure there's a lot of stinkersout there, but you're gonna get
that with every genre. But that'strue. You know now that now that
I've I've started to as I've gottenolder, I started to be like,
you know what it I understand whyChristmas is so special to so many people.
It's special to me now too.And if you want to start listening
(09:31):
to music a little early, Idon't have any problem with that, because
if you just love Christmas, thenyou love Christmas. Heck, listen to
Christmas music in July for all Ican, no, no, no,
If you want to listen to Christmasmusic in July, do it. Don't
do it around me. Don't doit around me. Yuck. You know,
this is such this is such acontentious debate like every year, you
(09:54):
know, and there's no getting that. There doesn't seem to be any getting
to the bottom of it. SoI think we're gonna need some We're gonna
all right, we gotta call thegreatest minds known to man. We do,
the greatest minds known to man.So number one, who are we?
Who are we calling here? Oneof one of the greatest minds I've
ever known, one of the funniestminds I've ever known, the one,
(10:16):
the only Lucas Bert. Some ofyou know him, some of you don't
Lucas, but you love him.You love him either way. True time
guest on the Ritz podcast Soon tobe three. Let me let me text
him right now. Yeah, justgotta make sure he's ready, all right.
We got to predict what his stanceswill be. Do you know his
stance for sure? I don't knowhis stance on the music specifically. All
(10:39):
right, it is suggest good thatwe can. We can make guests.
We can make guests. Okay,so I do know one thing. I
remember. We are out for benBen Benjamin Lubner's birthday. You know him.
He's been on the podcast. Yeah, and you know Daniel was asking
everybody how excited you are for Christmas? And this is like early November,
and Lucas said, oh, he'scalling us right now. All right,
(11:05):
let's get him on the podcast.Hello, what sec say something? I'm
here? Can you hear me?We can't loud and clear? Ken is
your all right? Isaac? Ishis audio? I think his audio is
recording. Say some more stuff,Lucas? All right, I mean you
(11:28):
want to talk about Christmas music, right, whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa. Let's let's slow down ofit here. First, you gotta finish
the story. Wait wait, wait, First off, how's your day,
Lucas. I'm doing fine. I'mdoing that's good. That's good, that's
good, that's good. You gottafinish telling the story. No, no,
no, no, you called thisnow. Never mind forget about the
get about the story whatever. We'rejust gonna get right into it, Lucas,
(11:52):
what what do you think of Christmasmusic? Just? First off,
as a general opinion, what's youropinion on Christmas music. It's a good
genre. Of course, it's seasonal, but overall, I think the mix
you get out of Christmas music islike generally upbeat and happy and uh,
I don't know. Occasionally you getlike a bop, but you get that
(12:13):
with every genre. So okay,So you say it's seasonal. What is
the timeline of the season? Right? Are we talking the season starts before
Thanksgiving? Or after? We're talkingafter Thanksgiving? After all? Right,
let's go bro, we're in agreement. Then you and I, So how
how long after are you like dayafter Thanksgiving type of person, or like,
(12:35):
you know, December. First,it has to be the length of
Christmas, like a week after Thanksgiving? You can start, sure that you
could wait type of You're the guy. You're the guy who's like, there's
got to be a buffer period. You got to digest all the food you
ate first for a week. Yeah, that's reasonably. I don't want to
burn out. I don't want toburn out Christmas music before we actually get
(12:56):
the Chris you know, fair enoughI do. I do understand that,
Like I don't get burnt out ofmusic very easily. Like I can listen
to like the same couple songs forlike two months and still not get tired
of them, so you know. But yeah, I understand if you don't
wanna, if you don't want tomake it like water it down by listening
to it too much so you wantto wait, I understand that that's fine.
(13:18):
The only exception is like if there'slike snow on the ground already and
like the towns have lights up anddecorations, like if it looks Christo Stace
or you can play with Christmas music, but like if it's still like brainy
and muddy and all that, likeyou just see how a bunch of dead
trees all over, It's like, why would you play Christo's music? It
just doesn't really jive with you know. Yeah, I agree with that.
(13:41):
I usually don't start unless it snows, just because it feels wrong. But
you know, I know some peoplewho will listen to it even either way.
But on the other hand, ifyou're like a week in into December
and it hasn't snowed yet, it'slike, eh, I mean, you
can start. I mean, becauselike December isn't very snowy, which I'm
happy, but I'm not a bigfan of snow. Honestly, you aren't.
No, let it snow, Letit snow. Let snow is not
(14:05):
my song. I like that song, I think. I think it's very
nice. I like I like snow. I like it. It's aesthetic.
But I think just dealing with itcan be annoying. Yeah, that's the
worst part about it. I likethe winter season. I find it.
I find it very nice. Whatdo you think about water, Lucas snow.
I like all the snow. Ilike. I like the cold too.
(14:28):
I used to say that I likethe snow but not the cold,
which I feel a lot of peoplecan relate to, but me personally,
the colder is the more like likeclothes you can wear kind of like you
can just like control your body temper. I do like larring. I think
larring is cool. Yeah, it'sfun. There's no mosquitoes, and like
(14:48):
that's cozy inside. That's winter isgreat. Yeah, there's no there's no
bugs. I will agree with you. Coco's back in season. I love
hot cocoa. Oh me too,my Coco during this tim, I don't
know psychopaths. Yeah Coco, Yeah, hot coco is its best when you're
like you get up early in themorning to go shovel the driveway of like
(15:09):
two feet of like effects. Nowyou come back in, you're all your
fingers are all chilly, right, just pour yourself a hot cup and just
sip on it. Our listeners fromTexas or wherever wouldn't understand this. They
wouldn't understand this. But I mean, the one thing that the chore is
shoveling the driveway. But like fora long time it was like a source
of income. So I'm not reallygoing to complain. Oh really, like
(15:31):
when I just have to do it, Yeah, like just shovel someone else's
driveway and can get like twenty bucks. Oh sick. So not a bad
deal. That's a that's a goodthat's a good thing to take advantage of
for sure. Seeh I had todo it for free for ooh me too,
me too. I guess I wasn't. I wasn't smart enough. You
weren't. You weren't as privileged aslucas well. I mean, I like
I shovel like neighbors on our ownfor like free, but like I won't
(15:54):
look up the street. I madelike seventy dollars on a shoveling driveways when
big snowstorm came because nobody wanted toshovel six feet or snow, right,
yeah, the big snowstorm last year. Yeah, like literally on Christmas there
was like no one wanted to shovelthat much snow out of their driveway,
and like the plous had to combinetwo days. The ME and JPS went
over, They're like, hey,if you shovel this, I don't know,
(16:15):
five feet. It was probably alittle let. I don't can't remember
how much it was. It waslike pretty much up to our head.
Oh this much snow then, Imean to me, yeah, I remember.
I remember around that time, Ihad to go dig out my brother
and his and his wife at theirhouse because like their house is short,
like it's not like a multi storystory, and literally the snow was like
(16:40):
almost to the roof, like youcould barely see it, and we had
to help dig them out. Andlike they were they live in well I'm
actually not gonna stay with it,but they lived. They lived in the
area right where like the snow hitthem the hardest, Like where they were
hit the hardest because like where Ilive, like down south of this location,
(17:00):
it we got hit bad, butit wasn't as bad as a lot
of like the actual city. Yeah, I was in I think I was
in Pennsylvania for the blizzard, andI just I remember just keep getting calls
from like Dad's friends and all that, and they were telling them how bad
it was, and I was like, Oh, I'm glad I'm not there.
You dodged a bullet there for sure, on a holiday for that thing.
(17:22):
Christmas is like, I mean,I neither knew it was coming,
and they actually decided to get outof there. Like I feel like everyone's
like, oh, it's gonna snow, It's buffalo. It's like it's always
gonna happen, right, right.Have you noticed that we tend to get
like our worst worst snowstorms around Christmas? I feel like that's always been the
case every year. Yere, Ithink you're probably right, either that or
(17:42):
we getting no snow or it's aletdown. Right, Yeah, that's also
true. It's either we get likethe worst snow of the year or like
absolutely nothing. Right. Well, anyway, Well, we are approaching the
twenty minute marks, so we gotto call some other people. What they
think? All right, Christmas, you're you're the first person we called Lucas.
(18:03):
We appreciate you coming on and givingus your input. Have a merry
Christmas and a happy New Year. That's right, all right? December third?
All right, yeah, well, well we'll talk to you again before
Christmas, but probably not on apodcast exactly. Yeah, all okay,
I got you, so we haveto wish you merry Christmas. So everybody
(18:26):
thinks we're nice, alright, alright, I think it means merry Christmas.
He hung up. All right, all right, well, who who else
are we calling? We got someother former guests, right, I mean,
we we gotta see Danny just wewe got a Danny boy. He's
(18:47):
snapping me memes. I wonder ifthat means he's available to he'd better be
snapchat call sound Danny boy? Hello, are you there? Mister Dimes?
Senior Dimes, Senior Dimes, oldman Danny. I don't know did he
(19:12):
pick up? He definitely picked up. Well maybe he's just maybe he just
shut up now that he heard myvoice. You there, yo, what's
up? You know? My MIC'sbrook landing grub a heads up of course,
Danny, Welcome to the w RitsPodcast. Hello, No Way Writs
Podcast again, Bro? Are youare you available to talk for like five
(19:37):
or ten minutes? Uh? Sure, let me find a quiet place in
the in the house we got here, all right, sounds good. Just
just buy myself a new beat llow. Oh in Florida? Oh dang that
next speech you're going You're going toFlorida for Christmas? No? Absolutely not,
(20:00):
okay, good good. I justI just spent all my money on
this new villa. Oh so yougot you got nothing to spend on presents
for people? That's such a same. Yeah, I know what are we
doing this right now? Yeah, you're on the w r's podcast. This
is okay. I'm sorry you guysjust called me out of the blow.
Well, yeah, that's the idea. We want to we gotta get your
(20:22):
quick opinion on something. See,we're trying. We're trying to just settle
a debate that's been going on fora long time. Dan. It's the
it's the age old question of welllet's let's let's just ask you the question
right out the gate Christmas music? What what's your opinion on it? Freaking
love it? Sounds good to me. Okay, whatever, what do you
(20:44):
think about when do you think of? What do you think about when you
should start listening to Christmas music?Okay? So me me personally, I
have a very bad opinion on this. So maybe I shouldn't be the one
to ask, because I love Christmasmusic. One am I the genres.
So I would say, I wouldsay I would be willing to listen to
(21:04):
a year round. But but Iwill say, first day of November,
Craig, that creak, that badboy out. Okay, Well that's no,
that's unreasonable, based take no,no, he listens to it the
day the radio stations start playing it. No, no, no, that's
(21:25):
wrong, that's wrong. You're you'reyou're you're adopting. You're adopting. You
are doing what the tyrannical overlords whoown our radio stations are telling you to
do. If you listen to Christmasmusic as soon as they start playing it,
you are you the government. Good, let the government take over.
I like Chris rush he likes Christmas. He's not gonna let you ruin its
(21:48):
Christmas. You know what you are, Isaac, You're just like the garage
trying trying to run I am.I'm sorry, I am. I don't
love Christmas as much as everybody else. For what, even I like it,
but I don't love it. Arewe talking about like obviously, I'll
uh, I'll leave you guys, get back to the podcast. But if
you guys are talking about Christmas, maybe talk about the fact that Rudolph's dad
(22:11):
doesn't like him because his mom cheatedon him with another reindeer. Because yeah,
how do you get that red nose? That's true. Hmmm, that's
a little strange for a reindeer. Is there another species that has red noses?
I don't know. I don't thinkso that's the theory. The theory
for another day. That's just atheory Christmas theory anyway. Anyway, if
(22:41):
if that's all you have for metoday, I mean, I do want
to ask one or two more things. What's your what's your favorite Christmas song?
By the way, ooh, veryvery hard to say. I uh,
I can give you a top threebecause they're all kind of tied.
But White Christmas by Bing Crosby,Great great song. It's beginning to look
(23:02):
a lot like Christmas by Michael Buble, Great song, and then uh,
honorable honorable mention Last Christmas by uhMichael No, sorry, George Michaels by
the not Taylor Swift. George Michael. Yeah, George Michael's version is way
(23:25):
better. And then number number numberthree is all I want for Christmas?
Is you if I'm all right,it's so good? You can't like Christmas
music, I'm not like that.I I okay, I don't like Christmas
music. Then in that case, wow, okay, all right, all
(23:47):
right. Anyway, one more question. We we called Lucas Burt before you.
Uh we asked this question. Weasked this question to him, and
we'll ask it to you too. What do you think of the winter season
as a whole, like the entiretyof the season. Oh so I'll tell
(24:07):
you this through me and you talkedabout this a little bit of Yo.
I've had a bit of a tonalchange about the season where I've realized that
I used to think that winter wasmy favorite season. But it's not because
fall is my favorite season, becausemy favorite month is December for several reasons.
But January and February the rest ofthe winter are just kind of mid
(24:29):
whereas fall is a very very goodseason. But I love the winter season,
because December, my birthday, myfriend's birthday, Christmas, Christmas Eve,
New Year's Eve, all of it. The season. That the nostalgia,
it's all there. Oh yeah,I love this nostalgia. The spray
(24:49):
cranberry of the year exactly. Anyway, that's that's all we have for you
to say. Thanks for coming goingon, Danny. We appreciate your willingness
to yeah, just say random stuffat random times. Very nice, very
nice. Sorry so I couldn't pickup my my MIC's broken because I'm you're
You're all good. I'm operating.I'm operating out of an iPod here,
(25:12):
the iPod. That's rather sad,it is. It is rather sap.
Hopefully we'll change that soon enough. But good talking to you boys. I
hope to see you again soon.Say to you, see Danny, thanks,
have a wonderful Christmas. Yeah,Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry
Christmas. All right? What awhat a guy that Danny dimes? Yeah,
(25:33):
man, he is an interesting That'sthat's one for your team and one
for my's. Right, we needa tiebreaker, We need a tiebreaker,
a tie right? What time weat? Huh? We we have We're
at twenty five minutes. We got, we got time for a tie breaker.
We could do two or three more, all right, and I want
I want to I want to geta lot of people, all right,
all right, all right, whodo you think we should call him next?
I don't know who do we got? Who we got? I don't
(25:56):
know who's available as the thing. This guy, the guys guy, the
guy you think, oh we couch. I'll try calling him right now.
All right, Sky the guy wouldhave a good opinion. I bet a
good opinion. He'll he'll have aninteresting opinion he'll have He'll have any opinion
I can. I can believe Skythe guy saying something completely out of pocket,
where he just says, Chris, modern Christmas music sucks. The only
(26:18):
good Christmas music is the Gregorian chanceof old England. I could see him
saying that too. That would makesense. All right, let's I don't
know if he'll pick up. Andof course he's he's a good old British
boys. He has an amazing accent. I don't know if he'll pick up,
but we can try calling him.Should I try snapchat or discord?
You think, oh, probably snapchat? Okay, all right, we got
(26:40):
the we got the snapchat call soundgoing. Well, we're waiting will say
something I don't know. Oh mygosh, what's up, Homie Sky?
Welcome to the WS podcast. You'reyou're a surprise guest on the double You're
its podcast here, buddy, oham? I well, I'm in a
(27:03):
cafeteria at the moment, So thereyou go. Well, okay, do
you have time to answer one quickquestion? Yes? Yes, fire away?
What do you think of Christmas music? The stereotypical Christmas music is incredibly
mid and you should not listen toit. There you go. What's what's
(27:23):

people so we don't end up witha time. Two more alright, alright,
(29:36):
or one more if any I guessgood Old. We'll see if good
old good Old one of the favoriteguests on the podcast, Ben Lubner.
We'll see if he'll yep, We'llsee if he picks up. We'll say
something funny when we got the call, so on going funny, say something
(29:56):
funny. Spot here got phantom taxphantom. You've got to give chart last
(30:18):
Oh my gosh. Oh, hedidn't pick up. He didn't keep saying
that for me. Let me see, all right, who else do we
got? Who else? Well, let me let me he might just be
busy right now. Well, we'llcall him back in a little bit.
We'll give him another We'll give himanother chance. You wanna let me let
(30:38):
me communicate really here, all right, I gotta fill up, fill out
some time for me. I gottaI gotta find somebody. What Seltzer.
Are you drinking today? What flavor? I had some of the grapefruit one
time. For our every podcast lead, there's always there was disposal here.
(30:59):
We love Wegman's Seltzer Water are notsponsored, but we do love it.
Another thing we love is my podcastzil Bauer. Will says he's been well,
says he's been listening to it lately. I've listened to the recent episode.
It's pretty good. You shall y'allshould listen to it as available on
YouTube Spotify. It is pretty good. Just just google z I L B
h O U R and it'll popup and you will be on your way
(31:21):
to getting schooled about politics and developingthe correct political opinions, the ones that
line up with what I believe. And who wouldn't want that? So be
sure to look into that. Youneed somebody's opinion to base all of your
political opinions on. Make it thezil Bauer. That's right, Make it
the Zillow the best option. It'sbetter than all the others. Best option
(31:45):
A right? Are you community? Are you doing the communications? Make communications?
I'm going to text a couple ofpeople here. Okay, cool?
Uh. We still have a lotto get to on this podcast, folks.
We got we got to talk aboutour Spotify raps that came out,
We got to talk about a veryspecial Christmas song. We got to talk
about dream. Maybe we kind offorego the dream drama for today. I'm
(32:05):
feeling jolly mood. I want tothat's true. Call as many people as
we can. Yeah, maybe wewon't talk about dream either way. We're
not. We don't. He'll bringdown the Christmas exactly, don't. We
don't want to talk about dream eitherway. We don't have someone to call
right now, So we are goingto take a short break. We'll be
right back. You won't even noticewe're gone. We are back. Welcome
(32:38):
back, folks. We got somebodywe got We got a live one guys.
Oh yeah, we got someone who'sgonna give her opinions, all right,
And yes it is a girl.Surprisingly we have Wow, okay,
we have a girl coming on ourpodcast. Misogynist. No, no,
I think it's just no, shutup. I think it's just shocking that
we were able to actually get agirl to talk to us. You would
(32:59):
say that, I would, youwould, Okay, even though all the
girls who are killing this podcast arethanks to me not UK buddy. All
right, we got we got,we got through snapchat this time. Hello,
Hi, Hi, greetings. Youwant to you want to introduce yourself
here because people listening don't know whoyou are? Yeah, neither do I
(33:22):
and I'm the co host, sooh so on the podcast, Yes you
are. You're currently being recorded this. This is a very spontaneous thing we're
doing. We're recording this call foradvertisement purposes or whatever they say when you
call the big cable provider. Okay, well, I am Mia Schmidt.
I am a very Toscar's Academy highschool graduate, and I am friends with
(33:44):
William Prinsble. Well quite the wrapsheet you have there, that is.
Yeah, you could get into anycollege you want with that one. I'm
trying. I'm sure you are right. Why don't you? Why don't you
introduce yourself Isaac? Since she Iam? I am? I am Isaac.
Not gonna give my last name becauseI see a lot of controversial stuff
(34:04):
on the internet. Okay, shutout, that's literally the name if I
quiet, But yeah, I'm Will'sco host. Was not afraid to give
his last name? What I justsaying? Afraid to give his last name?
Yeah, I know he's not thatyou shouldn't be afraid. Some day
(34:25):
I'll be someday I'll be like MattWalsh. Not now, though I reveal
you. I have a lot ofI had. I have a lot of
life left to live. So who'sgonna come after you? Woke mom?
Woke mob? Anyway, Yeah,I'm the second you give out your last
name, they're just gonna spawn outsideyour house and start protesting. They will.
(34:47):
Yeah, okay, anyway, Idon't want to worry my mother will.
That's oh yeah, okay, that'sunderstanding. I respect that. Don't
don't. Don't mock me anyway.I am co host of this pod.
Yes, I'm also not a bigfan of Christmas music, which is what
this whole podcast has been about sofar. So we've been calling a lot
of people to figure out what theconsensus is on Christmas music and when it's
(35:13):
okay to listen to it. Sowe're here to get your opinion, is
what we're saying. Okay, soyou're gonna hate me, but this year
I started listening to Christmas music beforeHalloween. Awesome great base base base base
(35:34):
base based Hi. Uh So,I actually work for the Polar Express it's
literally by job and uh, ifyou've ever seen the Polar Express movie,
we basically do that, but ona real train. And I started training
in October, no pun training, okay, in October, and so I
(35:55):
had to start listening to Christmas music. But by virtue of training, my
Christmas spirit was engaged, and Iwas the Christmas, the Christmas Goddess up
to this point since October. Wellthat's slightly more understandable than just someone who
chooses to listen to it in Octoberanyway, but still I don't know what
(36:15):
which I also did, I don'tknow what. I think. That's awesome.
Okay, Well, then, sinceyou listen to so much Christmas music,
you should be able to give usa good answer, and what the
best and worst Christmas songs of alltime? A follow up? Oh,
depending on your answer. Oh,but there's so many good ones. I
know, there's too many. Idisagree, but the best one, oh,
(36:43):
the best one is probably Twelve Daysof Christmas. Okay, I love
that song so much, and Ishould hate it because I have memorized like
all of the moves for it,and I have to sing it almost every
night for little children. But Istill the worst one is probably Santa Claus
(37:04):
is coming to town. Interesting,I haven't listened to that one. That
one looks like you better watch out, you better not cry. I'm telling
you right. That one's part ofthe climax of Elf, one of the
greatest Christmas movies. That's true.Say it doesn't to you when he's sleeping,
when you're sleeping, that is,that is it would be extremely creepy
(37:28):
if an old man crawled down yourchimney and witnessed you when you were sleeping
to make sure you were a goodboy. Yeah. If people have the
general knowledge of you being awake orsleeping, Yeah, what what are you
omniscient or something? Are you tryingto be God? Yes? Oh my
gosh. Lane, all right,so this is very important. We've had
(37:52):
three two or three three three. We've had three people on the podcast so
far today to talk about and allof them have mentioned All I Want for
Christmas is You is either their favoriteor least favorite. We got we got
one who said it was one oftheir favorites, and then the other one
said it was their least favorite.Yeah, like literally the world just because
(38:13):
of social media, it is,like, so that song is so pushed
by social media in everybody's heads. And I don't really enjoy social media.
I give into it sometimes, butI shouldn't. So I really don't like
that song. I don't find it, but it's just kind of annoying at
(38:36):
this point. Yeah, it's wayoverplayed. I see that it's overplayed to
the point where people start meaning aboutit every year, where they they'll like
say, like, once it hitsNovember, she's the frosting. Right,
once you hit November, you knowthat if you go to the mall,
you're going to hear that song.Singing is always in the back of your
head. Yeah, all right,Well you said you had a follow up
(39:02):
question that you stole it from me. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Yeah,
Will's Will gets quite rude on thispodcast. I actually don't die one
time when you're rude to me.You told me to shut up on this
podcast. You wouldn't let me,you wouldn't let me pay shut up.
(39:22):
I wanted to give he shut up. No, I won't. I won't.
Girls, girls, you're both pretty? Did you just she got us
with that Mega Mind reference? Okay? All right, well fair enough.
Have you seen that movie Mega Mind? Yes? Okay, good. Yeah,
at least culture exactly right. Rightright before we let you go,
(39:46):
we asked a couple of people thisquestion just it just sort of came up
naturally because we're talking about Christmas. What do you think of the winter season
as a whole? You know, just just doesn't love it? Love it?
Good, good take. Uh.And so this seems very silly,
but my favorite Christmas movie is theBuppet Christmas Carol, and I love it
(40:07):
to no end. It makes meso full of Christmas spirit. It's ridiculous.
And one of the things the Ghostof Christmas Present says, he says,
it's the summer of the soul inDecember, and that's what I think
the entire of interest season. That'san interesting way of looking at it,
actually the summer of the soul.Uh huh. Interesting. Yeah, I
(40:29):
never heard that. Yeah, thatreally makes fun. That's a fun way
to say it. Yeah, andit's a little bit miserable. But because
of this is this is a Christianpodcast, right, I can say Christian,
thanks, you should you should sayChristians say Christian things. I would
(40:52):
expect a less from you. ButI was like, yeah, maybe they
don't want it. Yeah, maybeit's actually a raging liberal atheist. Did
you know that God isn't real?If God was real, we wouldn't be
living in such a messed up world? Oh no, no, you got
me. Anyway, it will continue, Yeah, because of Christ coming.
(41:20):
It's a season of charity rather thana season of like darkness and cold,
which it typically always is. Butbecause of Christ making it different. It's
always about Christ instead of about howcold and miserable we are. Exactly that
(41:43):
I can agree withness. Yeah, there was this one little girl on polar
if I may she and William knowsthis story, I think, but Isaac
is not. Uh, there's thislittle girl and she must have been six.
And I was like, do youbelieve in Santa Claus? Because I
(42:06):
was in character? Right, ofcourse, I know it's about Jesus,
but like I was a character andI was like, do you believe in
Santa Claus? She goes no,Oh, well what's Christmas about then?
And she goes Jesus like yes,you know, you know, you know
she's going to be home for sure. True. Yeah, but you know
(42:30):
that child is way ahead of herof her age, She's super smart,
she's going places. I had afriend who told me that when she went
to public school, they told herthat Jesus wasn't real and Santa was backwards.
Apparently that's when she got homeschooled afterthat. So yeah, Sannah is
so much harder to believe in thanJesus actually for children, but like you
(42:54):
know, well, children don't believeanything you tell them. Yeah, children
are goible. This is why goodparenting, it's important. Exactly. Amen.
Anyway, Anyway, I think that'show we got right. Well,
we've asked the important questions about session. It's very base. You're you're probably
(43:14):
our most base guest so far.I disagree. Do you think is the
most based personal? Sky? Forsure? You think Sky? Yeah,
because Sky agrees with me. Heagrees with you, so that makes him
based reached the sky before me.Okay, okay, hold on one second
(43:35):
here, let me explain, Letme explain. Let me explain. Sky
the guy has listened to every singleone of our podcast since the day.
We say. That's fair, that'sfair, that's fair. You got me
not to say good job? QuietQuin argument down? Okay, sorry,
(43:57):
but you're you're still really cool andvery are you based more base than Sky?
Because she agrees with me? Allright, whatever, anyway, we
got we got one more person tocall. Will right, We're gonna think
We're gonna try all right, answerthis time? Right? Oh yeah,
alright, you have a great day, Thanks for coming on in a moment's
(44:23):
notice, and Merry Christmas. MerryChristmas. Talk to you later. We'll
let you know when this airs soyou can hear yourself. She hung up,
She hung up on us. Allright, Well, now we got
to get to Benjamin, Ben thebattye. We gotta call Ben. Well,
we'll see. I have a feelinghe's gonna agree with you. But
(44:45):
the thing is that the thing isthat Sky agrees with me, so my
position is vindicated no matter who disagreeswith it. Okay, this is this
has been just because Sky agrees withyou, just because the non America with
you. Yeah. Yeah, thishas been a surprisingly good podcasts. I
have enjoyed it. We should calllike fifty people a podcast that would be
(45:07):
a little crazy. I don't thinkI know fifty people who would be minimal
to be calling them. I'm well, you know, I have noticed I've
called all the people. You haven'tcalled one person. That's true, because
I don't know. I just thenthat saw my message. I have zero
confidence that any of them would likeme if I actually called them. Well,
(45:28):
you just need to get more basedfriends, then no, based friends
will always be there for you.No, bro, I love I love
my friends. Okay, you playingthat I don't talk. I ain't saying
nothing. I'm just saying, don'ttalk about crap about my friends. I'm
sorry, I'm sorry. I feellike this is the most contentious. Hey,
(45:50):
Christmas music really gets you hate me? There for sure? All right?
I got the snapchat sound going on, waiting for Ben to pick up.
He okay, all right, wellyou got any other ideas or should
we call it there with the people? I mean, we're at forty five
minutes, so we got it fiveminutes. Well, let's see. You
gotta get to our Spotify Raps said, he couldn't. I don't really have
anybody else I want to call, all right, spontaneously, Well that's JP.
(46:15):
Okay with it, but I don'tknow. I don't know. JP
would just have like one word answersthough. Okay, don't make fun of
JP. No, not right hereat church today? Who was making fun
of JP? And I don't.I'm not making fun of JP. I
don't tolerate. I'm just saying ithow it is. I would love it
if he came with one word answers, because that would be hilarious. Let's
(46:37):
let's call him and see, yuh. I love my boy JP. But
hey, Jpa, one, JP, I cannot hear you at all.
Maybe he's on an iPad iPod likeDanny. Hello, oh oh, I
(47:01):
can is your phone on speaker orthere's no speaker option for discord? Really
that sucks. Okay, Well, listen to what JP says and then repeat
it. Hey, JP, canyou hear me? What's he saying?
(47:23):
Ah, I see, I understand. Well, we just want to very
quickly, just give me a oneword answer. What's your opinion on Christmas
music? Okay, thank you foryour time. And when do you think
you should start listening to it?Okay, fair enough, all right,
(47:46):
you have a great day, MerryChristmas, and have a happy New Year.
All right? What a good oldjumpy as What he thought of Christmas
music? He said nostalgic. Andthen when I asked him when you should
start listening to it, he saidDecember. Okay, that's that's a fair
like middle of the road type ofopinion I think, so let's let's RecA
(48:08):
that reason, Lucas. He saidhe liked it a lot, but you
shouldn't listen to it until until aweek after Thanksgiving, so like around that
started December. Good opinion, goodopinion. So then called Danny, who
said he loved Christmas music one ofhis favorite genres, and he'll start listening
to it November first three and sometimeseven in the summer. Freak freak good
(48:32):
take based based to take no no, no, no no no. Then
we called Sky, who said hedidn't really care for Christmas music, and
you don't think he doesn't think heshould start listening to it until like two
weeks before, which, you know, absolutely flawless opinion. Fair enough.
And then then we called Mia,who said she started listening to it in
(48:57):
October, even though even when itwasn't part of her job, right,
she agreed with me that Christmas isamazing. So there was a two for
two there, two versus two there, and then the ultimate tiebreaker didn't He
said he loved it, but heshouldn't. You shouldn't You didn't. Oh
that was sorry, but he saidDecember is when you just start listening to
(49:19):
it. So I'm right about thetime frame. You are right about whether
Christmas music is good or not.Yes, so I think that's that's a
fair I think that's a fair compromise. Music is goaded, but maybe you
should wait on listening to it.Okay, still listen to it whenever the
mood strikes me. But if youwant to wait until the day before Christmas,
(49:44):
you're a free American. Unless you'reSky, you're not a free American.
I don't know what they do inbrit Land, where I don't know.
Maybe they force you to listen toChristmas music all year round, and
that's why he hates it. Idon't know. They're not free over there.
They not at all, not atall all. Right, we do
have one song to recommend though, before we get to our Spotify raps.
(50:06):
Right, yeah, so the songSky recommended because that sounded cool. It
did. But you know, I'mpretty frustrated with all the immigrants that are
pouring over our borders illegally. Right. I don't have a problem with illegal
ones. I'm always happy to havesome people who want to adopt our customs
and you know, build a betterlife here. But the illegal ones,
(50:29):
I don't. I don't know,they're kind of disrespecting our laws and all
that. Yeah, you know, exactly, yeah, disrespecting us. So
I think that if you want to, you know, channel some of that
frustration, just a little bit somethingthat can relieve it. You got to
check out the song Illegals in MyYard. I can't say it with a
(50:52):
straight face as Llegals in my YardIllegals in it's a take on of course.
If you couldn't tell cultured and don'tknow the song, you should look
it up because it's funny. Itis very funny. It's mildly offensive,
but it's funny. Well, yeah, what do you expect of the song
(51:12):
called Illegals in My Yard? Exactlyexactly? All right, So we recommended
that one, But we got toget to our Spotify raps right now,
right now. Sure. Now,I will say I don't use Spotify as
my main app. I use itfor podcasts mainly, but as far as
music goes, I hate, absolutelyhate having audio ads in the middle of
when I'm listening to something, andI don't want to pay ten bucks a
(51:35):
month for premium, so I useanother app that I found that's free.
So my Spotify rapped isn't really thataccurate, Like it's just when I'm listening.
Sure, you know, once youguys hear his number two most listen
to song, you'll understand why he'sbeing so defensive about it. Yeah,
yeah, you'll understand that's true. But I will give you both the Spotify
rapped and the rapped kind of thingfrom the other app, the quote unquote
(52:00):
actual Musia, the app I actuallyuse. Yes, hmm, all right,
okay, well you're gonna go first, me first, So like,
what are we gonna how are wegonna do? I want you, I
want you to go over your topsongs, top artists, and top podcasts
if you have those. Okay,I will do that. I have screenshots
of mine. Q. So whenI when I got this, I was
(52:22):
actually slightly shocked because I didn't realizedI listened to these these five songs as
much as I had. Yeah, and they're very obscure songs, I thought,
I let I guess I just listenedto them whenever they came on,
because apparently I listened to these fivethe most. So the first one,
the most listened to song, besure to do how many minutes you listened
(52:42):
as well? Oh well, wheredo I find that? I don't know.
It should be in there somewhere likeat the end. I don't know
your feed. See if you canfind it. I guess. Oh,
there we go, twenty twenty three, Rapped. All right, so nice
music, nice music, Yeah, yeah, don't play much. Yeah,
I don't want to get copyrighted, even though we're going to the most recognizable.
(53:07):
I listened to thirty five genres.Okay with me right now? Wow,
that's a lot of genres, Alot of genres. See this year
you're listening took you places. Oh, this is where it tells you where
people with similar tastes. Yeah, yeah, listen to Yeah, and apparently
Colorado Springs, USA is where peoplethat's where you should with my music.
That's where you should move. Then, I guess. So apparently there are
(53:28):
a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog fansthere because one of my most listened to
genres was, or one of themost listened to artists was Sonic the Hedgehog
music. So really nice? Yeah? Or what else? What else you
got there? Let's see what's next? I played I played one and fifty
seven songs. Okay, I don'tknow if it counts the same songs twice.
(53:52):
Probably not I do. I listento a lot of music, so
yeah, it's probably just going alittle low. Yeah. So that's how
many different songs I listened to.Yeah, that would make sense. Which
fits? And there was one thatreally connected And this is the one that's
actually I'll go to the list.Actually wait, let me let me find
it. Sorry, this I'm goingthrough my wrapped again. I didn't screenshot.
(54:15):
I didn't screenshot things and post thingson Instagram, right other people did,
all right, Sorry, sorry forfor doddling. Here are the top
five songs. Find Your Flame byTamoya Otani. I think you would actually
really like this. It's a veryit's a hard sort of punk style rock
song. And then number two iswho I Am by Magnify. Really good
(54:37):
song. I think you would likeit as well. Okay, Number three
shocked me because I didn't realize Ilistened to this song as much as I
did. And this is Red Sunby Jason Charles Miller. That's from from
a video game called Metal Gear Rising. If you know, you know,
But I didn't realize I listened tothat song that much. I guess I
did. And then number four isheld a pay by a miracle of sound.
(55:01):
You'd like that one, I think, okay? And then number five
is One Way Dream by Nathan Sharp. All right, I have never heard
of any of those artists, Soyeah, you do, like if you
listen to obscure stuff? Or doyou want to switch off? Or do
you want me to finish off?Oh yeah, just finish off yours?
Okay, Top artists, I guesstop art I listened for thirty three twenty
(55:24):
eight minutes. It's a lot ofminutes. It's a lot like whenever as
at work, it was either podcast, audiobook or music, so right,
right, that's eight hours a dayover the summer, so that's a twenty
three days NonStop apparently, h andI peaked. I peaked on June and
fifteenth at four hundred and forty minutes, which Jue. That's the middle of
the summer. So I was probablyworking probably like a nine or ten hour
(55:45):
day day, so I was probablylistening to music NonStop. Okay, So
top ten percent of listeners. Wow, that's not bad. One came out
of the top artists. Sorry,I'm sorry this is taking so long.
It's okay, it's okay. Apologizeto the listeners not me. I'm sorry.
(56:09):
Listeners comment how much listen to me? At ramble? Comment how disappointed
you are with will taking so muchtime? In the comments below? All
right. Top top artists was SegaSound Team. So, so that's another
video game that's sonic, The Hedgehogyep, I listened to it. Well
when I'm like, I listened toa lot of sonic music, crush forty.
(56:31):
If you know you know why?You know why I listen to so
much of them? G a Metalor game Metal, game Metal gay.
You get a lot of covers thenJeff Williams, Actually I don't remember what
he does, Okay, it's weird. And Tomoya Otani he does a lot
(56:54):
of He does a lot of rockstuff, all right, cool, So
a lot of obscure stuff you don'tknow. Yeah, yeah, I wouldn't
guess to all those for sure.See I do love Metallica, but I
guess I don't listen to it thatmuch on Spotify. Interesting, And oh
here we go with the podcasts. You spent eleven and sixty minutes with podcasts.
(57:15):
Wow, podcasts? Well, Iworked a lot. Yeah, I
like podcasts. So my top podcastshere are the official podcast Bye, that's
the podcast that moist critical. Okay, yeah, oh, I do want
a side tangent here. But onething I do appreciate about the the guests,
(57:36):
the people, not the guests, the co host he has on that
podcast is like, there's one Turkishguy and one Australian guy, and there
are two guys who don't make hatingAmerica their entire personalities. That's good.
One of the most annoying things Isee on the internet is whenever there's like
a like a non American influencer notlet hating on America is one of their
personality traits. Yeah, and it'sreally annoying it is. And it's like,
(58:00):
sure, America has problems, it'snot perfect, but like it's a
lot better than whatever country came from. You don't need to make it your
personality. Yeah, anyway, Andthen next was Chuckle Sandwich. This is
Jay Slats podcast, Pretty funny ifyou know who he is. And then
Criminally Stupid I get, Yeah,Criminally Stupid. That's another podcast by the
(58:25):
Turkish and Australian dude. And thenthe Psychologists are in. That's a that's
a podcast where the actors for thepsych oh through a couple of episodes it's
very interesting. And then Office Ladies, which is the same thing except for
the office okay, and that one'sinteresting too interesting. So, of course,
(58:45):
though your favorite podcast is your ritzpodcast, even I don't listen to
it on Spotify, I don't actuallylisten to it at all because I hate
hearing myself. I gotcha, Igot all right, let's see. Yep,
that's it. That's it for you, Okay, all through yours?
Well? I so should I gothrough the Spotify one first or one from
(59:07):
the other app? I use gothrough Spotify one first, so I kind
of point out the glaring problem withyour with your wrappeds Okay, I'm gonna
go from five to fifth to firsthere, okay, Okay, guys,
pay close attention to number two.Shut up, you suck. Sorry,
(59:28):
okay. So number five is iPadby The Chainsmokers, which I would admit
that's a good song. That's notthe one that will's going to laugh over
because it's actually a good song.I do like it. I'm not laughing
over anything. I don't like ita lot, but it's okay. Four
is Natives by Blank one eighty two. It's by Blank one eighty two,
so of course it's decent. It'snot their best song. I don't really
(59:50):
love it, but I think Iwas trying it out on Spotify for whatever
reason. Yeah, and I listenedto it how much? Twice? How
much Spotify did you use? Oh? Not much. I think my most
list song I only listened to itnine times, so I really don't use
Spotify at all. I only haveto listen to a song like three times
for it to be on here,I think. Okay. Uh. Number
three is when You're Gone by ShawnMendes, which it's probably Shawn Mendes is
(01:00:14):
best song. That doesn't mean it'sa great song, but it's okay.
Number two, you know. Numberone is Misery Business by Paramore, which
I will I will endorse that withoutsaying anything that a song. Number two
is we Are Never Ever Getting BackTogether by Taylor Swift. Explain yourself,
(01:00:35):
sir. Explain yourself, you, sir, who claims to hate Taylor Swift
with all your No? When haveI claimed? When have I claimed to
hate Taylor Swift with all my heart? Okay, maybe not that extreme,
but I'm pretty sure if you goback through the lugs on this podcast,
you said a publicly you hate TaylorSwift, and yet, Sir, I
think I publicly said. I thinkI think I publicly said. I just
(01:01:00):
like most of Taylor Swift. Mostof Taylor Swift. It's one song.
It's one song song, and itis one about breaking up. Yeah,
it's a good song with our boys, a good song breakups because I broke
up with my boyfriend and break upsare fun. I understand. So yeah.
But anyway, that's that's the onefrom Spotify. My top artists are
(01:01:23):
Paramore, which makes sense because MiseryBusiness was my number one song, my
number two top artists, My numberthree is Green Day, Number two is
Taylor number the number, number fouris the Chain Smokers. Number five is
Against the Current. Against the Currentis a good band. Actually you skipped.
Number two is Sailor Twift your closet, uh swift out? Hey?
(01:01:49):
Like I said, the most listenedsong is was viewed nine times, so
I've only listened to like five times. I'm sorry, Isaac. I'll give
you the benefit of the doubt.I mean give you the benefit of yeah.
Okay, well no, you knowI was doing all that to be
funny, right, I know.I don't care. I know. Yeah,
we got to entertain the good people. I can be a little I
can be a little gay and likeTyler Swift talk about I understand you're fine
(01:02:12):
with that. Okay. My toppodcasts these are all political, of course.
Number one is the Matt Wall Show, Okay, which he's not my
favorite, but I guess I listenedto him most. I was a little
surprised by that. Number two isMichael Moll's show. Michael is my favorite.
I'm a simp for Michael. Ilistened to the show all the time.
I like him a lot. Numberthree is Ben Shapiro. He's kind
of fallen off recently. I'm notgonna lie. He's his destroying libs with
(01:02:37):
facts and logic. Days are yeah, those are gone now. He's just
an old podcasts who does a podcastand complains about Israel, which I understand
it's a big deal to him.I get it. I know it's very
emotional, but me personally, Ijust don't want to hear that all the
time. You know, there areother issues going on in the world.
And then number five is my ownpodcast, Zilbauer. Why wasn't Andrew Clavin
(01:02:58):
on that list? Oh? Numberone, Number's number for he's number four.
Oh you skipped them? Okay, yeah, I forgot. He's my
person. He's awesome. Yeah,I wish he uploaded more, but he
does a weekly show, so itmakes it better honestly. Yeah, it's
it more worthwhile when you do listento him. Right. Oh okay,
So now onto the accurate one. This one I actually recorded how many minutes
(01:03:20):
I listened to as well, soon the other music app I use that
I actually use like every day formy real music. I played a total
of seven six hundred and two songs. I think that's not more than I
not individual songs. I think theywere just like how many times I played
the same song over and we again? Use my number would probably be around
that, if it, I think, I think that meant unique song.
(01:03:44):
Yeah, that felt low for howmuch I listened to music. And then
it says I listened for a totalof twenty two hundred and eighty four minutes,
which I looked it up. It'sabout thirteen days NonStop. I think,
so not not too bad, Iguess. Let me let me scroll
through here. I listened to themost music in October, January, and
November. In October I listened fortwenty two and eighty four minutes and blah
(01:04:09):
blah blah blah blah. All right, my top songs these are these are
these actually make sense? My numberfour song is given Away by the Red
Hot Chili Peppers, one of myall time favorites. Love that song.
Nomber three is basket Case by GreenDay. My favorite band. Number two
is Rock and Roll Train Live atRiver Plate in two thousand and nine by
(01:04:30):
ac DC, and number one isever Long by the Foo Fighters. Makes
sense for you again, fantastic.I believe you. I think this is
your main music app. Fantastic songs. Love those songs. I unequivocally endorse
them. And that's that's the moreaccurate music app. So that's what I
(01:04:50):
have on my version of Spotify rap, the truthful one, the truthful one.
So don't laugh at me too hardthere, guys. Oh that was
that was That was trip. Itwas It was fun. It was fun.
Spotify. That's always so interesting tolook at. It is like,
see, I should use I shoulduse Spotify more, just so I get
an accurate representation of what I listenedto. I I genuinely did not expect
(01:05:15):
what I got, but I thinkit's because whenever I listened to Metallica,
I never listened to just one oftheir songs. I just listened to like,
I listened to like their entire cattleYeah yeah, at once. So
the actual like number of songs atthe times I've listened to each of their
songs is really low. It's thesame for me, like Green Day,
like I'm surprised like Unfortunately, themusic app I mainly used didn't tell me
(01:05:35):
what my most listened to artist is, but I think probably it would probably
be Green Day or a c DC. Those are those are my two favorite
bands. So uh yeah, I'ma little more basic in you or I
don't go out finding I don't goout finding weird, obscure bands to listen
to and stuff. Sometimes the obscurestuff is better than the popular, I
(01:05:56):
would agree, I would agree.I just I don't have time to go
out looking for it. So Imaybe I'll send you some of the songs
that were on there. So Itend to stick with what I know because
I think you'd like some of them. Okay, well they're very similar to
your taste. Yeah you should. You should send them to me. I'll
review them on the podcast next time. Yeah, maybe on the Zilb hour.
I guess maybe not really political though, Yeah, we want to examine
the political political each of the obscuresongs. I could do that with like
(01:06:19):
Flame what does that mean? Icould do that with like a couple of
songs like American Idiot is a politicalsong. Is Killing in the Name of
is a political song? So butmostly the Hell would be interesting to examine
because it's about that too. Yeah, it's about colonization. Yeah, that
would be interesting. I like thesong though it's it goes hard. Oh
(01:06:40):
yeah, I'm sure it does.Yeah. Anyway, we're at an hour
and six minutes. Will that soundslike a good place to call it.
We have a lot, yeah,a lot of material. We're not done
making material though, We're just donetalking. We're done talking. So here's
