The Wolf-Leader Audiobook
The Wolf-Leader by Alexandre Dumas is a tale of revenge, fantasy, and supernatural forces set in a small French village. The protagonist, Thibault, is a shoemaker who encounters a mysterious wolf in the forest after being mistreated by the local nobility. Thibault makes a pact with the wolf, gaining the ability to command wolves and control others’ actions. However, as he uses these powers to exact vengeance on those who wronged him, his humanity deteriorates. The villagers soon fear him, and he becomes increasingly isolated. In the end, Thibault's thirst for power and revenge leads to his downfall as the wolf’s curse consumes him, making him more beast than man.
