a little past having to process hospital visits through fan
fiction and can now just kind of love yap about

we're here with chapter seven of pro Diver. Chapter seven

is called The Monsters on Your Shoulder. This one's going
to be a doozy. Like I said, this is going
to have angst, h potentially a little violent like fight scene.
Also like potentially fight Seen Incoming has Evil Adam in it.

stripe down the middle of the tan man's well defined abs,

smiling against the skin when he shuddered. Then I shall
have to remind you, I suppose, my simple simple man,
Kodro grunted, hand slipping into his lover's open hair as
he moved lower. If I had known that admitting to
be a simple man would get me such a friendly favor,
as I would let you call me that from the start.

As romantic as that is, Kowdo rolled his eyes, lifting
the sheets, I doubt the reminder would have been quite
as friendly back then, Nah, Kochro tested his luck. You
totally wanted me from the start too. Two, I bit

Kowodo's eyes narrowed as he teased his tongue across a

as the sun rose, talking to Karla about the cruise
plans to set sail again eminently, and of all the

them of a draggled cat in arm, he'd warn Koduro
down enough that he'd allow him to adopt a cat
from the town, under the condition that it'd be a

bit older. He'd meant then, because nobody would have to
train it. But Mia had then come home with a
scruffy white cat with one ear and no tail, half
its teeth in a blind eye. He'd named it Gigi,
and that was that. And now wherever he went, Gigi
was either close behind, yelling quietly as if close behind
yelling quietly as if in a steady stream of blackluster

complaints only Mia could understand, or he was in the

with Ta Miya for her, so translating to Miya for

her so he didn't feel excluded, but otherwise allowing the
boy to sit in comfortable silence until he finally spoke up,
a voice uncharacteristically soft against the dull roar of the ocean.
When are you leaving? Kowdo's eyes widened in surprise, feeling
the small hands and his hair hesitate in their movements
for a second. Mia, what are you talking about? Koduro?

And I told you, even with my fin heeled I'll
be staying with you as long as you'll have me.
I thought you talked more with him about this. He
was about ready to make a note to chew Kocher
out for neglecting his duties when Mia huffed, he did,
you did, but Kodo felt the hands brush through his
hair again. But you won't stay forever. You need to

be in the ocean. I'm not stupid, you know, I
know that, Kowdo sighed, turning to pull his hair out
of his grasp gently and face him. I don't know, Mia,
why can't you just stay? Shadow said? Mermaids can gain legs,
so why Shadow should know better than to gossip so loosely,
Kodo said, firmly, brushing MEA's bangs out of his eyes carefully.

I'm not leaving anytime soon, and I won't abandon you regardless.
Look at me. He took in MIA's frustrated pout and
averted eyes and frowned. Mia, I am serious. I'm not
going to leave you no matter what happens between Coachro
and I. Your crew is your family, right, Mia nodded,
crossing his arms. And if Freki and Lana didn't stay together,

they both still love you. Right again, he nodded, but
with a scoff and a muttered So if those two
would ever leave, so it's the same. I'm not going anywhere,
then why can't you? And I don't want to talk
about that. It's more complicated than it seems, and it's
between adults. But even Kowdu didn't feel convinced by his

own words. Luckily, it seemed to Mia was at least
temporarily satisfied with the promise that Kowdo wasn't going to
suddenly disappear from their lives. Mia Kowdu time to get ready.
Kodro's voice boomed over the beach as his impressive figure
bounded towards them with an excited grin and a glint
in his eyes that took Kowdu by surprise. As he
waded into the water, scooping up his mermaid without warning

and kissing him deeply. Kawado smacked his chest as Mia
groaned his disapproval, saying goodbye to Karla and collecting his
cat to head over to the house to grab his things.

regarding Koduro with weary eyes. He'll have to get used

him up to his wheelchair. Come on, Darling, the world

Leaving went smoothly. Kodro had left the day before the

afternoon to take care of some errands and get some
last things for their voyage, and the boys had done
well to help Shadow prepare the ship, having done so
countless times before. With little to do in Shadow requiring
some distraction to ease his aching heart, Kodro had been
able to retire early, with Kowudu back in the captain's
quarters again, as the sun began to set the familiar

rhythm of the ocean, rocking them safely on board Kaoudu.
Kochro leaned against the wall and the mermaid laid between
his muscular legs, with his pale back against Kocho's chest,
wrapped in his strong arms. Koto's eyes were closed as
coach rode gently massageous scalp, combing through his long hair
and telling him more about his home, his original home

in a place called Okinawa. Yes, Koduro. Kodo opened his eyes,
pools of gold shining with fondness when Kodu gazed into them,
feeling his mouth dry up. Uh do do mermaids have soulmates?
Kado blinked, what's a soulmate? So no? Then Koduro gathered,

suddenly realizing how hopefully and prepared he actually was to
explain the concept in a way that wouldn't be far
too revealing, too intimate. But then again, that was the point,
wasn't it. Kado had been staring, had been startlingly unwilling
to discuss the actions necessary to gain human form, to
discuss any long term commitments at all. So Koduro had

come to the conclusion that it was perhaps in since
of to seemingly demand commitment from the man without showing
his hand as well. Kodro had known for a while
now weeks and weeks turning into months and months, that
Kowdu owned his heart. It no longer beat steady and
strong inside Cochro's own chest instead residing firmly in the

aware of his possession. Therefore, Kochro had decided he'd have
to make the mermaid aware, take to leap himself first

Cawder didn't like to talk about his past much, and
Kodro understood from what he had shared that his experience
with humans had been tumultuous at best. He'd never said
anything about the humans he'd known before, specifically, but when
it was obvious from the occasional nightmare he'd wake up

shaking Kodro's arms from that. Whatever his past was, it
had been bad, and Koduro was nothing if not dedicated
to proving himself to the object of his affections. So
he'd bought a ring, two rings, really, because he'd gotten
one for himself should Kwdo accept him. However, as he
laid with him, it occurred to him that he should
have perhaps started this conversation by actually telling the mermaid

he loved him. Oh, by actually telling the mermaid he

believe in soulmates? Kawdu tore the man from his thoughts
with a curious tone, pulling all of the focus back

Scalding and desperate, clawing at each other with desire and affection,
as if they couldn't possibly be close enough. Kowdu was
short of breath when he pulled back to catch Kochro's

eyes lit up like the stars in the skies. He
kissed the breath out of Kowdu all over again. Ko
Ko Kowdo. Koduro kissed into his skin as Kowdo's claws
gently raked over his chest. Kowdu, i'm I'm in Dad

understand from Koduro's words and the sudden intrusion as their
door knob turned. Kowdu had violently shoved Koachro away and
off of the bed onto the ground. Kowdu slapped a
palm over his mouth when Kodro cursed, landing hard. Dad

cat wriggling in his arms as he glanced down with
the approving look. That's a real good question, kid, Kochuro

shot Kowdu a scalding glance, and Kowdo sniffed, turning his
nose up at the man. So naturally, So naturally. Kochu
reached up and gave his hair a good gang, earning
him a clowd of the shoulder and several choice words
that had Mia shaking his head and scolding both of
them to get themselves together. Hey, I didn't come down
here to be traumatized. There's a ship. There's another pirate ship,

Mia explained to the frown. It looks weird and it's
approaching fast. They didn't respond to any of our signals,
Shadows said. Just then, a heavy thud rocked the ship thoroughly,
sending me a tumbling on too, Kochro on the ground
and Kowdu off the bed to join them. What the hell, Oh, oh,
Jesus Christ, here comes the angst. What the hell was

that a fucking cannon? Are you all right? Mia? Stay
here with Kodu. After checking them briefly, Kochu rushed out
of the cat rushed out of the cabin, and another
said rocked the ship. Kowdo took me in his arms
and say quietly to soothe him and the shaking cat
in his arms. Suddenly, Giji began hissing viciously, jumping out

of MIA's arms and clawing at the window behind them.
Kowdo turned and gasped at the side. Away awake a little.
Kaowdo turned and gasped at that I should not choke.
It was about to get really not funny, really quickly, hm.

to the wind, beginning to claw his way up the stairs.

When Kocho had rushed to the deck, he'd expected to
see a standard pirate ship, expected to have to defend

his family or negotiate a misunderstanding. He'd expected to have

Twin fangs pressing into his bottom lip caught your attention. Finally,

English and squinted in confused frustration the sky. This creature
had the balls to attack them in Japanese waters and

ships together brutally. Now Kodor could see the slender, almost
ghostly bodies of the massive crew aboard the enemy ship,

shook through the entire ship, causing Kodro to WinCE and
rakking Longa to slap their hands over their ears. Adam flinched,

a thud, and another quickly grew in replacement, lashing out
wildly as Kodro finally reached, picking him up quickly. I
told you to stay down there. You don't understand what

Mia is fine. He's safe. You're an idiot for coming

up here. You're an idiot for saving me. The two
talked over each other, their eyes running all over as
they reassured themselves that the other was okay, and then
pausing when their eyes finally met Kowdo I later later,
we have to get Adam released a vengeful shout, leathery

wings sprouting from his back as he half leaped, half
flew over the edge of the ship, tentacles swinging wildly
and narrowly missing. Longo ducked just in time. This time
it fell victim to Reki himself, who stabbed it as
it came near, resulting in him getting knocked back several
feet and hitting his head. Longa snarled, pulling out his
own knives. But Kowdo knew the look on Adam's face.
He saw the telltale curl of smoke from his lips

as he inhaled stop long of get down. Adam let
out a burst of flames, and Kowdo thanked every single
god that ever existed for long as quick reflexes as
he fell to the deck, narrowly avoiding the flames, but
avoiding the flames but narrowly. Koduro I love you. Kowder
turned to him and confessed so firmly, so suddenly that

Kodro felt that he'd whiplash as he turned to as
he turned his head to face him. Okay, let's try

have been afraid he'd seen what happened when a much
weaker version of Adam got a hand on you, but
that only fueled his resolved that he couldn't bear the
thought of losing his new family to something as monstrouses
Adam Kawdo knew he couldn't survive losing them, but that

they could survive losing him. What no scream this time? Kodo, boring,
shouldn't surprise me, though you've always been so fucking boring.
Couldn't fight back, Adam seemed to realize as Cowdo simply glared.

Kowdo inhaled sharply as the tentacle around him tightened. Kaowdu
Kodro cried out, reaching out to him, but stopping when
Adam wriggled a warning finger at him, tightening again around Koudo. Ah,

to get what I want. Human, not that you would understand.
I doubt you know very much about magic, maybe nothing,
seeing as this pathetic little bitch still has a tail. Adam,

Adam hissed, lifting Kowdo closer until their faces were inches apart.

never pathetic. It was never weak like this. I expected

as he ripped his mask off to reveal burned flesh

of you, and only then, well I eviscerate you. He hissed,
gloved hand coming up tight around Cowder's throat and squeezing
really in a way, I'm giving you eternal life. It
wouldn't kill you to be grateful, you know. Odre growled

and lunged at the edge of the ship to jump
over as Adam's second tentacle pushed them away, but Kowder's
voice rang out, stopping him his tracks. Stop, Stop, Koduro.
Coudo's voice broke on his name, and Koduro faltered. Joss
slack as he stared into Kado's glistening eyes. You owe me,
remember you owe me for the bet. You've said anything

I want. Kodo took a moment before he realized what
Kodo was talking about. That bet, that stupid bet about
Lanka and Reki. If what Kodo was saying wasn't so
fucking get wrenching, he'd laugh. Yeah, but Kowdu not, you've
said anything. I want you to stop. I want you

to stand there, and I want you to let me go. Kaodo,
I can't. I'm not yours. Kawdo had tears dripping from
his eyes, and Kodo felt his heart crack at the
tension in his voice. I'm not yours, so just stop,

and I want you to live. You big, dumb, stupid
wonderful man. I want you to live, he thought. Kodo.
The Kodro stayed where he was, frozen and anxiously looking
at the mermaid held above them, hands twitching to reach
out to do something.

Kodro was cut off by Codo's agonized grown as the
limb around him squeezed harder, growing impatient. Love Is that
what you were going to say? Adam chuckled. Cute, he
really did fall for another human? Hak Kado, seems like
you never learn, he drawled, bored as his tentacle tightened
around him again. There were more audible cracks, and Kodro
(44:51):
winced at the mermaid's hisses. Adam pulled Kodo in close,
lips brushing against the mermaid's ear. Get a good look coat.

He asked, because I am going to absorb your essence,
and then he licked his lips and grinned, I'm going
to kill everyone on that ship.

Ocho. Kodo was wheezed as Adam pushed the ships further
apart with ease, and Kodra watched helplessly. Odo. I love you,
he thought, not once breaking his gaze off of him.

know what I'm thinking about, what kind of themes I'm
