If you look around, you will see God showing up in your life.  Maybe not a brilliant flash of light, but a little thing that makes your whole day easier.  Steph had a great experience where God put the right people into her life to make sine duffucult tasks and chores flow more smothly than if she had to go it alone.  Jeff is dealing with a clouder of cats.  I high school girl had to fight for her right to praise God.  President Trump went intro spective, talked about how he wants to do the right thing and go to heaven.

You can watch and listen to Stephanie on her YouTube channel - In the Service of the Queen - where she talks about the blessed Mary     https://www.youtube.com/@InTheServiceOfTheQueen

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Waiting the day that sounds. I'm gotta get to that
stuff box gets I magic be on my way, magical
as we don't know that today.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Well, hello everyone, I am Jeff and welcome to these
days with Jeff and Steph. Now we are coming at
a Catholic perspective on what's going on in the world today.
So thanks for joining us today. Of course, I am Jeff,
and we're going down to Nashville, Tennessee. We're gonna talk
to Steph. How are things going out there?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Going pretty miraculously today? Actually I have something to say
besides just hot.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Well that's good. Let's just get to it. Let us
know what's miraculous out there in the Bible belt.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Well, why don't you tell me how your morning's going. First,
you've got a lot of cats you're dealing with right now.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, I always laugh every this big tough guy. And
yet I have a cloud er cats. If you don't
know a cloud, it's like a pack of dogs. If
you have a pack of cats, they're called a clouder.
And they've all been strays. We'll live out in the country.
And I have had three and that was enough. And
then last fall, this one mainsly looking young cat showed up.
I think it probably got thrown out the car window,

(01:16):
you know, with the litter kittens or something. I don't know,
but he showed up and I was like, I don't
care you go, I'm done. I'm not gonna do any
more cats. You see his ribs and all of a
sudd he just wouldn't leave, and I've got well, I'm
gonna have to do something or I'm gonna bearing a
cat here. So I started feeding him and all this
kind of stuff and trying to figure out how to
get it out of here, and something my mom was
fighting through dementia. Sad lines ended up being about six

(01:37):
months later, but she had to mention me and my
dad were taking care of her and I was trying
to get rid of this cat, and all of a
sudden something hit me. It was like, going, that's not
your cat, that's for your dad. I was like, oh, okay.
So then I've been taking care of it and raising
it and trying to turn it into an indoor cat. Well,
this cat is the sweetest cat. You've seen pictures of it.
He's a good little guy.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Big orange orange cats are sweet, they really are.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And he downstairs were my apartment and my studio and
all that is. We got some one hundred three days,
so I'd kind of let him come in here and
cool off and everything. I divide it because he fights.
He's trying to take over from the three cats who
live here normally. He thinks this is I guess he
thinks he has to fight, like in the wild or
something for his territory. So he's coming in and my
dad going, well, you letting that cat in downstairs? It's

(02:23):
just cool out for a couple hours, you know. Then
he comes up. I divide it so that he can't
fight the other cats, and he lives in the garage.
Somebody goes, you know what, this is the guy who
didn't want any more animals or anything. But I had
to just I figured that cat was for him anyway.
So all of a sudden, out of the blue, he goes,
you know, we should probably start letting this cat in,
you know, so it gets used to it. Ooh, okay,
that's kind of a coming a long way from somebody

(02:43):
who didn't want any more animals. So of course we
let the cat in, and he came upstairs, and where's
going to be living and he thought that was pretty cool,
and he thought that was good. Now every time he
try and open the door, there it goes that cat
right between your legs.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
So like, I'm coming in.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
So my dad comes up the him I think it
was last night, and he goes, I think we created
a monster. I don't know what to do, and I go,
what do you mean? He goes, well, that that cat
ran in on me. I know, yeah, he's been doing
that for the last couple of days since we let
it in. He goes, yeah, but how do I get
it out? Wow? Okay, So here we are trying to
get this catch go out. And if you're wondering why

(03:19):
we're being mean, I don't want that cat in here
to sound mean until his boys get cut off, you know.
I don't want to spraying around and everything like that.
Three of the cats, you Warner Land the importance of that.
And so until he get his boys cuts off, he's
gonna be in the garage still. So here we are
two grown men with these little kitty treats going, come on,
come coming here, kitty coming, you can go out of
the garage, and this cat's just sitting there looking like, no,

(03:43):
I'm not leaving this. I wouldn't have been surprised if
we were trying to deliver it out to the ground.
If he want to just shut the door and stay
locked it and left us in the garage.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Cat is I want either, because cats are pretty smart.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
So no, that's my little take on today.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Not much going on dealing with the cats. It's so
funny how God shows up when you know. I've seen
it more than one time, especially when there's a loss
of someone. Cats are healing. I think all animals are healing,
but there's like a special thing about cats that they
kind of show up when there's been a death and
a loss. And I don't know, there's I've noticed that

(04:18):
I've seen it happen quite a few times, that the
cat finds you. It's like God, senate, God shows up
and he's like, Okay, now I'm in the form of
a cat, and I'm gonna force this love on you
whether you want it or not.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, And they're low maintenance. Still, they're not like I mean,
dogs are great. I mean, dogs obviously grieve and all
that kind of stuff. They really take it hard if
their owner goes away and everything like that, right, But
a cat so it shows such indifference that when a
cat actually just like, hey, i'm your bread and curls
up on your lap or something, you know that there's
something to that.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
There is definitely, Yeah, it's just crazy. Well, so my morning,
you know, you know, I'm having to move, and I'm
going to move actually next weekend. I found a place.
So the whole thing's been miraculous. So obviously, you know,
I'm upset about moving. I don't want to leave my
home that I've had good memories in for ten years.

(05:12):
But it's a divorced situation. I have to move, and
it's sad and it's you know, it's just not something
you want to do or look forward to. But even
the way I found the place was miraculous. So I
had been looking all over Nashville and every place was
too expensive and it wasn't even good, and it wasn't
in a place that felt good. And I'd put down

(05:32):
deposits on two different places and I didn't have peace
about either one, and I was like, I just you know,
I was just upset. So going back to the Adoration,
I go to the Adoration chapel and I'm just in tears,
and I tell Jesus, I don't think I even told
you this, Did I tell you this part? Okay? So
I'm in tears and I tell Jesus, I can't find
the place. I said. You have to just send me

(05:54):
the place you want me right now, just send it
straight to me, because I can't find it. Well. By
the time I get home, I have an email from
a friend of mine in the neighborhood who's a realtor.
And I did not ask her to look for places
for me. I had not asked for her to do this,
and she had sent me an email and she said, hey,
I was just thinking about your situation, and here's a
few places that are not online yet they're not even

(06:17):
going to be online. Only relators can access this. So
this is not a place. It was a place that
actually the owner had just moved out of privately owned,
so there's not a lot of riff raff to go
through with a big management company and out of the floor.
Immediately the one I saw, I knew it was like
a feeling. I was like, I think I'm supposed to
be there, and I never could have found it on
my own. There was no way to possibly find it

(06:39):
on my own. Only relators would be able to see this.
And when I called her and I said, I think
I want to see this place, and she was like,
you know, I just realized that's actually my friend's place.
And she didn't even know that it was her friend's
place when she pulled it up and like send it
to me. She was looking at it and started thinking, well,
I think that's Sheila's place, and she had bought it
and let her daughter live in it, and then her

(06:59):
daughter got married. So anyway, we go look at it,
and there was just a piece that came over me
and it was everything that you know. It's still sad.
I still don't want to leave my home, but it
reminds me of a town home I was in a
few years ago that had good memories, and it's the
exact same way out. It's only nicer. It's a little
bigger and it's a little bit nicer, and like God's

(07:21):
just been pouring love onto me. It's just amazing how
he shows up. And you know, it's like everything that
I thought about are kind of worried about, like you know,
or so it's got all new appliances because I was
worried or the well will the appliances be crappy or
even to the point where I had this vision of
me being able to hang a plant in the corner.
There's already a hook in the corner for a plant

(07:44):
right where I wanted to hang it. It's got brand
new floors, brand new. It's beautiful actually, and like one
of the places I had put a deposit down on.
I was upset because I was like, if this is okay. Yeah,
they renovated it, but there's not like an outside area
to walk around in that feels good, and there's no balcony,
there's no outside space. Well, this place has a pretty
good sized fenced in patio and the entire complex, which

(08:07):
is small, has a pool. I did send pictures to you,
so you say, it's got like the nice and it
just feels good. It's got a sidewalk that goes across
around the whole thing. It makes a circle. It's got flow.
And I even took a couple of friends, my neighbors,
my Vietnamese neighbors who are Catholic. They wanted me to
go to the home depot with them last night and
help them. I'm a good decorator, so they wanted me

(08:28):
to help pick out Tyle and she's redoing her bathroom.
But I took them by the place and they were
like genuinely, they're like, Stephanie, I'm so happy for you
because they know everything I've been through, and they're like,
this place just does have a good feeling. You can
feel God's hand on it. And they're like, this is beautiful,
this is so cute. This is all you need. And
so yeah, like God showed up. I said, God, I
can't find it my own. You're gonna have to send

(08:49):
it to me. And within an hour, talk about faithfulness,
he sent it to me.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
You know you moving it proved to me that God
loves me too, because you're not having to that's right.
He put it together and honestly said, you're gonna meet
this great woman. You guys are gonna have a great rapport,
become really good friends. You're gonna have a good banter.
You might not get agree on everything, but you're gonna
be respectful and you're gonna just your life is gonna
be better for having her in it. And she's fifteen
hundred miles a eight hours or miles away, so you

(09:16):
don't have to help He remove there.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
You go. Isn't that the truth? Because if there's anything
I hate, I actually think I made a calliment one time.
I was like, there's got to be like a like
a section of hell where all you have to do
is help people move all day because because it's horrible,
I hate moving. But that brings me to my second story,
which just happened. I want you know, you and I

(09:40):
talk about, like, what are we gonna talk about on
the show. Well this it's so God is so faithful
for everything, because this story just happened. So I wasn't
even unknown to tell you we were gonna talk about it.
So this morning I wake up and I'm like, I
might as well just deal with the suffering. You know.
My friend called me and actually left me a message.
The Bereavery of Today for the Catholic Church talks about

(10:01):
there there are no graces without suffering, and the greater
the suffering, the greater the graces you're given. So I'm like, well,
this is perfect. I'm hearing our message while I'm on
hold with the cable company. Then I'm on hold with
the electric company, and I'm like, this is all just
horrible that I'm having to because when you're you know,
like when you're getting married and moving into a place,
you're excited and you're starting a new life, and you

(10:21):
don't mind even making these calls and being on hold
and all the inconvenience of just the monotony of having
to deal with all this crap. But when you're leaving
a home, you don't want to be leaving and it's
a sad situation. It really feels awful, and it feels
to me it's like the emotional part's even worse because
it's like it feels like, you know, rejection, I guess,

(10:42):
And so I'm thinking, this is just this sucks, but
I just give this suffering to you God, like this
is suffering, and you know, give me grace through it.
And I end up having this conversation so the lady
where I'm switching the cable services, she's like, well, you know,
the cable right now is in your husband's name. If
you want to put it in your name and start
a new account, I can basically save you half off,
and if you want to switch your phone, you won't

(11:03):
even have a bill for a year and there's no catch.
We talked about this for a while, Like I looked
at the contract while I was on the phone with
her for over an hour. So for a year, I
have no So this is like practical blessings, and I'm
going to get to the spiritual blessing, which is even
way better. So for practical blessings, God's given me, my
cable bill is going to be basically cut in half.

(11:24):
I have no phone bill for a year, and then
once I get a phone bill after a year, it'll
only be forty bucks, which right now I'm paying one
hundred bucks, so huge savings. The place that I'm moving
to is already cheaper than either one of the places
I have put a deposit down on, and they pay
for water, and there's no pet fees and there's no
pet rent, and you deal with a private owner that
my friend knows who actually there wasn't They weren't even

(11:46):
going to allow pets, but she said, well, Stephanie's clean
and her house is immaculate and it doesn't smell like pets,
and so they're like, okay, she can have pets. It's like,
you know, God has just taking care of everything. And
then because I was on holds and we were waiting
for the third party verification, you know, with the cable
to approve all this. We just start talking and she
starts telling me, you know, just personal stuff, like well,

(12:08):
I have really bad allergies. And she's in Delaware and
she's like, how are allergies there? And I was like, well,
you know, actually I since we had a few minutes.
She goes, this is going to take about ten minutes.
I'm like, okay. I'm like, well, since we have ten minutes,
I am getting my holistic nutrition degree right now. And
I've always loved like nutrition and natural remedies. And I
was telling her I used to have really bad allergies too,

(12:30):
and I used to be on allergy shots. Because she
is on allergy shots every week and she hates it.
So I started giving hers some practical things to do,
like up your vitamin sea lavender and lemon essential oils.
And she's writing all this down and then I start
telling her a little bit about my personal situation. And
she was like, Stephanie, I kid you, not three years
ago I was in your exact same situation. I mean,

(12:53):
how crazy is that? And she said, I moved out
of my house and she goes, basically without getting into
all the det she went through the exact same situation
in her marriage as I've gone through. She moved out
of her house. She was only gone for a few months,
and she's like, I just kept praying. God never left it.
She's a woman of faith. I said, well, I'm a

(13:13):
woman of faith. She said, I am too, And she said,
if God put something on your heart to pray about,
and he's not letting it go, and he's not removing
the love, and he's putting forgiveness and grace, keep praying,
she said, because I'll tell you miracles happened in my life.
And her and her husband are actually back together. They've
been together for three years now. And she's like, it's
amazing what God can do. But just focus on you.

(13:35):
Focus on your life. That's what God's telling you right now.
You need to heal. Your husband needs to heal. That's
what I felt like. It's time for me to move
out of the house and there needs to be healing,
and I want healing to come for all of us.
And I feel him saying like, come away with me.
And I think I told you. He was like showing
me there's gonna be water, like there's gonna be an

(13:55):
oasis of love and blessings here for you in this
new place. He gave me the word yesterday. Well let
me finish the woman first. She goes, I'm going to
keep you in my prayers and I said, I'll keep
you in my prayers too, and she was just like,
I said, this is so cool because God gives me
signs through birds, you know. All the time. I was like,
I was really praying this morning. So it's the week
last weekend in my house and I'm moving next weekend,

(14:18):
and I was just praying to hear from him to
get confirmation. I was like, please just show me another
sign with the birds, and he didn't, and I was like,
but God is so good. He was like, I'm going
to do you one better, like this is better than
a bird. I'm going to give you a real person
to talk to that's going to confirm everything I've been
telling you, that's been through the exact same thing, that
knows exactly where you're coming from. And by the end

(14:39):
of our conversation, she goes, Stephanie, I wouldn't even be
surprised if you don't see a bird today anyway, because
God's just that good. She's like, He's going to send
you the bird too, And she said, and this is
something only God had told me. I did not share
this with her. She goes, I'm going to decree and
declare over your life. You're still going to have children
and be a mother. Now she knows my situation, she
knows even the fact that I've had his directed me.

(15:01):
But God has told me that He has promised that
you will be a mother. You will have a child,
whether it's miraculously, and I wouldn't put it past him
or through adoption, but I honestly wouldn't put it past him.
That's how much faith I have in God. You know,
you never said Elizabeth had a child, Sarah had a child.
You know, you never you just never know. I think
we're in times of miracles and a lot of people

(15:22):
are going through the same thing. So when when I
say that she's gone through it, and she said, she
actually started a prayer support group, and she goes, you
wouldn't believe how many people actually are going through the
same situation or have gone through exactly what you and
I are going through. And she goes, and there's miracles.
When you trust in God, there's going to be miracles
because He is a healer and he is a restorer.
So that's it. That's my miracle for today. God showed up.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
It's actually pretty good at that, you know, mm hmm yep.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Showed up in the form of right in the middle
of my suffering too. That's what the you know, I
think that's the message in the middle of suffering. You know,
even when the Israelites were wandering through the wilderness, he
would show up with nana and food enough to fill them.
And he even said in the bread was the exact
same flavor each one of them wanted. He didn't even
give them general bread. It was like whatever flavor each

(16:11):
person wanted the most, he would make it taste like that.
Like that's how good God is. We just we limit
him way too much.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I think, you know my mind, how it kind of
goes there where it kind of got me earlier. You
were talking about you hate moving, and that's the worst thing. Well,
I think about the Bible. The Jews had been slaves
for four inn of years, and a lot of them
didn't even want to move. They didn't want to have
gotten right.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
They kept wanting to go back to Egypt.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Well, actually, throughout the Bible, I mean whenever God would
tell them you have to go with somewhere, you know,
to the new Land or something. They all were reluctant.
Anyone wanted to move.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
They didn't know. And I feel it. I mean, I
know what he's telling me. I know he's telling me
to move. I know he wants my husband back in
this house, and he's gonna encounter him here and heal
him here, and he's gonna heal me. And you know,
this place, he wouldn't have found me a place that
feels so good. It feels so good when I walk
over there. It feels like there's going to be nourishment

(17:03):
and provision that I've been lacking over the past couple
of years.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Well, and probably he needs to move you out of it.
As much as you love that house and all that
kind of stuff, he probably needs to get you out
of there so you can come at it from a
different perspective. Right, It's like your life is there and
it hasn't kind of been sucky, and you haven't been
happy and all this kind of stuff. He said, all right, well,
I'm gonna move you here where you're going to be
happy and all that. Now you can look back at
your life and see how you know, from a different perspective.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Anyway, Right, he did give me that message. Actually, you're
right on point that, you know, like I had told you.
He was saying, break camp and break camp and can
also it's not just a physical move, it's a mindset.
And he was telling me that, like this is a mindset.
I'm also wanting you to break where I'm really you know,
he keeps giving me that scripture in Isaiah. Can't you

(17:51):
perceive it. I'm doing a new thing. I'm like water
spring up in the desert. I put rivers in the wasteland.
And so like he has to move us physically, mentally, emotionally.
He has to move us in order to do a
new thing. And it's not like he can just do
a new thing in the old place, right, you know,
He's got to move us and get a new mindsept
a new mindset. I think that's why we all love

(18:11):
I love to travel. I think that's why we love
to travel is because every time you go to a
new place, it brings in a fresh perspective and new thoughts,
and it just kind of refreshes your soul.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah new people like you said, yeah, everything, Yeah, and pleasant.
I love to travel. Everybody loves to travel, but with
behind us, everybody loves to get back home.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
That's true. That's such a good point too. Yeah, because
because there is the balance, they're both necessary. Yeah, you
need the fresh perspective, and he's given you that because
home is sacred, right, Home is sacred. It's our domestic church.
So he gives you this fresh perspective and he leads
you out and then brings you back home so that

(18:53):
you can kind of do things better and new in
the home in the church.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
And I think a lot of people struggle with and
I don't think they're bad or they're doing anything wrong,
but like you were able to tell that, oh wow,
look at this, things are falling into place. You know.
I have a friend who found a piece of property
that rental that wasn't even going to be on the market,
and bam, this lady's going to help me get all
my stuff moved over vam and all this kind of stuff.
And I think a lot of people though they don't

(19:19):
and you were like, thank you God for doing that.
I think a lot of people they just say oh okay,
and they don't realize that, you know, there was somebody
else that you know, there was another force there that
was kind of helping all us fall into place for.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
You, right, right, And that's why we're doing this podcast, right,
because that was my goal. You said you wanted to
make people think, and I want to make people wake
up and be aware of God's presence in his hand
and everything, because I see it in everything. I mean,
his providence, his sovereign, sovereign providence is just in everything.

(19:50):
And I don't know when you live life that way,
it's just so magical, it really is.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, And I mean I don't even know who A
lot of people have probably said it over the years.
If you just really want to understand how great God is,
just go into like mountains Tennessee mountains, I mean, not like.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Some small ones.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah, you can go if you just hike to the
top of one and just look out and you just
kind of like realize, these people there was a divine plan.
This didn't happen by accident. You can just when you
look into the world from a from a high perspective,
you can actually better. You can't really see how God works, right.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
So yeah, and God it's literally literally and figuratively when
you come up higher. Sometimes you have to come up higher,
which you know. Yesterday he kept showing me a hawk.
There was this huge hawk that was like following me around.
It would like fly over me and it would land
when I stuff. It was just kind of around and
it's been around, and I think the message and that
was to come up higher and get a higher perspective,

(20:48):
kind of more of a detached perspective of what's going on,
because think how God sees everything. He sees everything, and
he's got a whole world to manage, and a whole
bunch of messed up humans to kind of love and
God and wrecked like a good shepherd, he's got this
whole flock's kind of scattered all over the place. He's
trying to be like, Okay, from my perspective, I see
what I'm wanting you to do, and all the you

(21:08):
can't even see it because you're like over here, not
wanting to leave this place. But if you just go
around the corner and around this little hill, there's a
whole oasis of water and food and good stuff I've
got planned for you, and you just need to go
around the corner here. But we can't see it when
we're down low.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Have you heard the story about the eagle and the crow? No,
if all the birds, you know, the egle obviously can
eat kill any bird at once, you know, and all
that kind of stuff. Yeah, and you know, well, the
only bird that's not afraid of the eagle is the
crow and crows. If an eagle comes into this kind
of area, we'll go and actually peck and bug the eagle,

(21:44):
and sometimes they'll even grab a hold of the eagle
and stuff. So you think the eagle would kill it.
And this is actually from studies. They've quoted the studies
of people who've seen it in the others. So the
eagle didn't even deal with the crow. The eagle just
shoots up high and just goes up high, and then
the crow can't handle the altitude, and the crow just
finally drops away, and the eagle just comes back and

(22:04):
does its own little thing kind of like would you
rather swear with the eagles or fall like the crows?

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Wow, what a good story for me today, Thank you, Jeff.
That is yeah for our listeners too, because that is
just rise above it sometimes, if you just rise above it,
which what's hitting me right now is what is what
forgiveness is.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yep, rise above it and don't don't even deal with it.
It's kind of yeah, whatever, you know, you're just an annoyance.
I'm moving on.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
High right, just move up higher, and there's beautiful sights
to see up here.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
I'm doing a little peruising and I found a couple
of stories we might want to talk about.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Okay, what are they Okay, when.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
They're near Buffalo, New York, and it's called this Grand
Island Senior High School. Now, in this high school, I
had no of this, but they're seniors. They're able to
get fifty bucks and they can get a parking spot
their own personal and use it for the entire year.
So I mean, that's not really preparing kids for the
future because you're never going to get a parking spot
for fifty dollars a year. But anyway, So anyway, but

(23:00):
then they get to decorate the you know, the front
of it, and they can they do their design that
they're going to paint on it, and then they give
it to the school board and or not the school board,
but the committee at school, like the president or the
principal and vice principal, and you know, probably a couple
of teachers or whatever, and they know, just to make
sure it's not naked girls or something, and then they
painted on there. Well, this girl, her name is Sabrina Stephans.

(23:23):
She's actually in charge of the Bible club too at
the school. Now, she bought paid her fifty bucks. She
got her spot. So she gave them her first drunk.
She said, here's what I'm going to do. So she
had a cross and a heart. Then she had John
four sixteen. I am the Way, the truth and the life.
No one comes through my father except through me. Pretty cool,

(23:44):
Pretty cool. So she turned it in. They rejected it,
sent it back to her, said no, we can't do this.
You can't put a cross on there because then we'll
have to allow kids to put Satanic images on there,
and we're not going to even start down that right path.
So Sabrina said, okay, So she came back and she goes.
She put it on there through five sixteen. Let your
light shine, you know from the sermon in the mountain.

(24:04):
That's where he said, right, and on the light, she
turned the light into a cross, and then underneath it
she put Jeremiah twenty nine to eleven. I think that's
where God is promising hope or something like that. I'm
not exactly sure, but anyway, so she said, here you go,
turn it in now too religious. She can't do that,
oh man. So she comes back again and she put
it and she just put on let your light shine.

(24:26):
He is the King. So then they came back and
they were kind of condescending to her. They said, all right,
we're gonna let you that one slide, even though we
know what you're talking about, but you can't add anything
to it, you know, just like that. And she said fine,
and she started thinking about it. And now she's a
senior in high school and charged the Bible clubs, so
she probably used better language like gosh darn it or
something like that. I would have used a lot bigger explanative,

(24:48):
you know. But she thought, you know, no, this is wrong.
So she goes, I'm gonna sue. Well some of the
Christian leaders. I think that there's an organization that whether
you're Catholic or any denomination, and they come and to
help you out if you're a Christian struggling. And they
heard about it, so they said, okay, well we'll help
you sue the school district because you can't sue the school, school,
the school district. So and whenever you're going to sue somebody,

(25:12):
you don't take us straight to court. You have to
give them an intent to sue. So this group they
sent an eleven page document to the school board. They
told them why they were suing, and of course the
school boards woooo, well no, no, we weren't trying to
be mean to her at all. And she's like, yeah,
they're not even letting let alone my freedom religion. They're
not let me exercise my first Amendment right tore speech.

(25:32):
Oh no, that's wrong, wrong, wrong. So I don't know
if it was a really high settlement they were after,
if they didn't want the publicity, but the school board
actually broke down, so Sabrina and she was able to
paint that very first option on there.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
So that's great. What was the first option?

Speaker 2 (25:46):
That was the Cross and the Heart in Matthew Matthew
five sixteen that it says, I am the Way, the Truth,
and the Light. No one comes to the Father except
through me.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Awesome. When I did look up Jeremiah twenty nine and
while you were talking, and I think that's prophetic because
that was the verse where he said, I know the
plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and
not to harm you. Oh cool, Yeah, so he did.
He prospered her, He had good plans for her. Wow,
that's a great story.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
But I'm wondering, so these school people, do you think
they were evil and they just didn't want Christians? Or
you think they were lazy and they just didn't want
to have to deal with anything. It's just kind of like,
you know, I mean, they're just kind of half hearted.
They might even go to church, but yeah, you know,
but we just don't want to deal with it.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
So well, let me ask you. Was it a public school? Yes, Okay,
I can I can kind of understand from managing apartments
and having to deal with so many different people and
so many different mindsets and so many different backgrounds that
I can kind of understand maybe they weren't evil, or
just maybe they weren't just anti Christian giving them the

(26:53):
benefit of the doubt, because you do have that, like
so we you know, we definitely you do have like
people are just ridiculous, you know. It's like, so yeah,
it is true, like that we had a guy one
time that wanted to put out some Bibles, and you
know if you let if you let them, you do
get people that get pissed off. Can I say that

(27:13):
on a podcast? It's like, you know, then then you do.
You had the uh, you had other religions coming up
at us, well why can't I put my stuff out?
And you do in this day and age. Sadly you
have the Satanist and the witches and the witchcraft covens
coming up, going well, we should be able to put
our satanic stuff out too. That actually is a real concern,

(27:35):
which is insane. I actually had to show an apartment
one time to a practicing witch who was Satanic. But
I actually didn't show the apartment to her. I started
praying and she got really uncomfortable and she was like,
you know what, I don't think these are the right
apartments for me anyway, and she left. I started praying
because I was like, I can't show this lady in
an apartment. But anyway, Yeah, so you have to deal

(27:57):
with so many different kinds of people that maybe they
were just trying to avoid a bunch of drama. But
you know, God prevailed. Jesus is the only way in
the truth and the life. He is the only truth.
So good for her that she actually got the truth
put out there.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
But the philosophical in a way, though Jesus says, you
can't deny me. But aren't they denying him?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Right, Yeah, he says, And he says every need will
bend at my name. I mean, he doesn't say they
might or maybe someday they will. They will, so, I mean,
I don't know. Hopefully we're he is the only truth.
I mean, everybody's going to know it at some point.
I guess you and I know that as believers, everybody's
going to know it at some point.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I think what gets me crazy is everything he said
to me is absolutely since like they man, we just
don't want to deal with this and all that kind
of stuff, but common sense is thrown out the window.
He said, well, well, I'm a Satanist, so why can't
I put that on my thront because nowhere in the
Declaration of Independence of the Constitution does it say one
needs under satan right God.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
It goes back to our country was founded on Christian
and Judeo principles and the One True God of Abraham
and Moses, and we honor him on our money. We
honor him on our constitution. So I think a lot
of it's some of it's probably ignorance, and some of
it's probably cowardice. But good, you know, it's like, we can't,
we can't. Everybody needs to quit being a coward and

(29:21):
stand up for what's right.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
That's exactly where I was heading. It's kind of like,
you know, eventually, because at church, everybody, especially the Catholics,
I'm sure that all of them do, but they always say,
go forth and preach the gospel, you know, go forth
and spread it. And every priest will tell you that
most of the people in that church are going. I
can't do that, you know, I'm not that. That's just
not my personality and all that kind of stuff. And

(29:43):
you might, you know, that's not your thing, but you
can stand up and let a little girl putting a
cross on her parking spot.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Absolutely, yeah, absolutely. And you know, the Bible says everybody
has a conscience to know right from wrong, so you
know the Bible's true. So if everybody has a conscious
to know right from wrong, even if you are not
a Christian, you don't consider yourself a Christian. You don't
even if you've never heard of Jesus and you live
out in the middle of the boondocks in Africa or whatever,

(30:13):
you still would know right from wrong when it's presented
to you right.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
And I think what I'm kind of getting. We both
touched on it and we both said, it is about
you know, you have for these school leaders. And let's
be honest, they did prevail. I mean they for public
school actually back down like that. That was actually a
prett dean.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
I mean that is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Yeah, it's probably if it was in New York City
or California, you know, they wouldn't have back down.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
You know what city?

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Was this in Buffalo?

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Well, that's still pretty cool. But yeah, I mean I
think it goes back to the title of our show,
These Times. I think we are in these times where
we are going to see victories from God, and we
were hungry for him because the last few years, it
seems like victory after victory for Satan. It just seems
like he's been winning everything. But I think God is

(30:59):
like I think God likes God likes drama, He has
a sense of humor. He like God, so he's just
so big we can't understandhim. But I think he kind
of likes to I mean, it's called the Hail Mary
Pass for a reason, right, Like he likes to come in.
He likes to make it look like the underdog's losing
and they're just getting beat up, and then at the
last minute he's going to swoop in and and just

(31:20):
overwhelm the enemy and be like, you thought you were winning,
you thought you were running this world. Let me show
you who's God goad.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
I think I just want people to actually start standing up,
you know, just because for years and years and years,
like let's say, well over Christmas, you know, the Nativity scenes,
all these anti the oh you can't have that, that's
infringing on my rights and all that and near you
all right whatever, no saying no, you're infringing on my rights,
but not let me put it up. I think people

(31:48):
just need to start just standing up and saying no.
You know, yeah, you have.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
A right to. You know, if somebody's gonna run their
mouths spout in ignorance, you have a right to stand
up for the truth.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Okay, well this is a truth. And it got him
in a little bit of trouble, and I don't think
he should have. But I think when somebody speaks, actually
the truth, even if you disagree with him, I think,
but you know, that's what they actually believe. I think
that's great because I mean so many times people just
won't tell the truth on what they believe they're feeling
at that time. Right well, President Trump this week he
was on you know, he's been working really hard to

(32:21):
try and broker a piece deal between the Ukraine and
the Russians to try and stop that war that's been
aval that's like this big thing right now. He was
on TV, I don't know, probably Fox or something like that,
but they were asking him about why he's working on
that Ukraine Russia war, and he said, I want to
end it. You know, we're not losing any American lives,
We're losing Russian and Ukrainian mostly soldiers. I want to

(32:42):
try to get into heaven if possible. I'm hearing. I'm
not doing well and I'm really at the bottom of
the totem pole. But if I can get this done,
I can get into heaven. I think this is one
of the reasons that it'll get me there. So that's
some self inflect interflict. You know, he's thinking about it,
interflecting himself, and he's saying, you know what, I want
to go to heaven. You know I'm going to train
and get there. I don't and all these people just

(33:03):
bad nothing audacity of him to try and see that
he's trying to do this to go to heaven. And
I don't see really what was wrong with what he said?

Speaker 1 (33:12):
No, actually what I see. And you know, I did
have a Belmont teacher in my creativity and spirituality class
years ago. She my final remark was you see connections,
and you see deeper into things where other people miss it.
She said that was my greatest gift, just to see
what other people don't. I see Mary's hand on him,
and I see, you know, a philanthropy. You know, he

(33:34):
he's lived his life not so great by his but
he's always been honest as far as I can tell.
Like I mean, I saw him in an interview saying
he the one thing he admired most was men who
could be faithful. He's like, I've never been able to
be faithful to a woman. I mean, so at least
he's honest and he kind of knows his shortcomings. And
I think because you know all of the times, all

(33:55):
those assassination attempts last year were on Big Mary and
Feast days. A lot of people don't realize that, and
then he started posting things about Mary. So to me,
I think he there has been a relationship with Mary
on a deeper spiritual level that has been formed, and
we know as Catholics, once that happens, your conversion and

(34:15):
your acceptance into heaven, well they're absolute because she doesn't fail.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Right, I agree with you, But I think.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
It's great that he's he's thinking in those terms and
he's looking at hisself and going, yeah, maybe I can
maybe if I do that. I think he has a
good heart. I've always said I think Trump does have
a good heart. I think he you know, he's a center.
We're all centers like, but I do think he has
a good heart where he doesn't want people just to
die needlessly.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
And all that and so so, moving off of Trump,
you know he's a catalyst for this question. So you
live your whole life, can one good deed that you
perform get you into heaven?

Speaker 1 (34:49):
I think I don't think. Well, you know, the Bible
says it's not by our works that we get in,
it's by our faith. But I think it's showing that
he is getting faith and his heart's converted and it
and the Bible says God looks at our hearts. He's
really concerned about our heart, not about what we do.
So it's not so much you know, the works are
I think Saint pauls so that the works are fruit
of the fruit of the spirit. So without the works

(35:12):
are just the sun that his heart's changing, I guess,
is what I would say.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
I'm talking more than general abity, not just Trump. I'm
just talking to anybody. You see, you've known some bad
people in your life and everything like that, and you're like, man,
of course we can't judge him. They're not going to
you know, that wouldn't be the Christian right God, God,
we get mad at us. Do you see some people
and you're like, man, I can't ever see them getting
to heaven? And then could they do anything that wealth
within God?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Okay, No, I don't think so. I don't think you
can do anything. I think when your heart truly changes,
that's what gets you into heaven. Because if your heart
changes and you are truly repentant for the things you've
done and you want to accept Christ, that's what gets
you into heaven. But if you actually have to, and
that might happen at the last moment, right before you die.
But if it happens before you die, then you're actually

(35:54):
you are going to see them do works and take
action the support that their heart has changed.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
That's I don't know if it's in the Bible or
if it's like in movies and just kind of a
folk now, but I always heard that the one way
to get an immediately to heaven is to sacrifice or
to give your life for somebody else's life.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
I think that is in scripture. Yeah, if you die, martyr,
you're you're going straight to heaven, because I think Jesus
said that anybody who gives his life for my sake,
So yeah, St. Saint Maximilian Colby we had, wasn't it
his because he gave his life in place of a
prisoner in Ashwitz. And you know, my friend was telling
me it was horrible. You think, like he just went

(36:31):
to the gas chamber and was immediately killed, and maybe
it wasn't so bad, but they weren't getting the dead
bodies out of the gas chamber for several days and
he had to sit in there with like all these
dead bodies and then can you imagine the smell before
he died? Like, but yeah, he gave his life. He
was a priest to Catholic priests and very devoted to Mary.
He started the Immaculata Mischigon, the Militia Immaculotta. Anyway, it's

(36:54):
like the Army of Mary. He started that, which is
still going strong today. But yeah, his life. And I
do think the Catholic Church teaches that when you give
your life for the sake of Jesus, you do go
directly to Heaven, you know.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
And I think actually one good deal, good doing, one
big good deed gets you in, Devin. I think it
could for the simple fact that for you to do
that one good deed, your whole heart would have to
change how you'd lived, and otherwise you would have ever
done it.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Exactly, That's what I was trying to say, but you
just said it better. Yeah, yeah, I agree, because your heart,
your heart shows you, your actions show where your.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Heart is right, and that's the time that might even
surprise the person.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Yeah, exactly, exactly. Well, so so everybody check your heart
today and just you know, I think I think that's
just you know, that's the most important thing, is what
does the Bible say have a pure, pure heart and
clean hands.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah I think so. Yeah, Okay, everybody, Well, thank you
all for joining us today. Man, it was fun talking
to you, Steph, and you got it busy after.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
God's going to show up. He's going to keep up,
and I hope he shows up for you and everybody.
Everybody listening today. Look for all the ways that God
is showing up, because I guarantee you he is.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
That's right. And next time, I guess we'll see you.
And when we talk about these times, won't.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
We Yeah, we'll see you next time. With Jeff and Stephan,
just remember we're all in it together.
