(00:05):
And it's like, I, Iit's a funat I just say record because
I fucked that up at the beginning, and won't that be the best way
to start this episode. Welcome ineverybody to this show. We've been talking
for twenty minutes and I fucked thatup. It's like, I don't do
this on other things all the time. I forgot how or something. All

(00:28):
Right, anyway, welcome, Welcomeinto the show to the we're calling this
affectionately the Three's Company Podcast. We'vejust been in here talking about what we've
been doing with the week and everything, and Katie just living where the Devil
lives. I don't know. Shetalking about one hundred and twenty degree sustained

(00:49):
coming up in August. And I'mif anybody out there is listening has a
number for FEMA, Red Cross something, we got to get them down there.
I don't think that's very I've goodnews the fact we're talking about since
we're talking about the weather I discovered. Do you remember the show ALF?
Oh, I'm I'm very aware ofALF. Now, Okay, did you

(01:11):
hear hold on? There's Rizin on? What am I calling you? Danielle
Rizza on this show? Because Iknow it was Rizza. Okay, So,
Danielle, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That's my bad, daniel Do
you know who alf is a littlebit Okay, I'm gonna put him on
the I'm gonna put him on acover for this episode. But look,
I've had that conversation with some otherpeople, some people that were born in

(01:33):
the two thousand ands, and theyhave no idea what we're talking about.
But what happened? Which actor?I know? Which? Yeah, the
two thousand ans. I hang aroundwith some people from the two thousand ants
and they tell me things, andI got to remind him I'm from the
nineteen hundreds. It's crazy. Whichwhich actor? The dad? The kid?
No, the kid. I thinkthe actor's name is Benji Gregory.

(01:57):
I think it is. He's like, or he was, I think forty
five years old, forty five orforty six, and just like two three
weeks ago, I guess he livesout here in Peoria, which is probably
about ten minutes away from me,and he was found deceased of like heat

(02:23):
stroke in his car. He wentto the bank and to deposit money,
and I guess fell asleep in hiscar and he and his service dog was
found passed away from heat stroke becauseof the heat out here. How tired
do you have to be to fallasleep in one hundred and twelve one hundred
and twenty three weather and be like, oh, this is cozy. I

(02:46):
ain't gonna lie. Okay, Ican't see fallen asleep in the heat,
but I will say that the heatdoes physically drain you. Oh yeah,
for sure, for sure. Idon't know if maybe he went to go
deposit money was super tired. Idon't know if he had health issues or
whatnot. And maybe it was themiddle of the night or early in the

(03:06):
morning before it got really bad.And yeah, maybe he was on medication.
Who knows, But yeah, thatkid from Alf actually passed away recently
because of the heat out here. The kid from Alf got taken out by
the sun. Interesting. Interesting, well, and okay, and so to
pop back in because I screwed upthe beginning of the whole thing. So

(03:27):
Danielle went to the lake last week. This week, she had fun and
she chased her kids around. Andyou had a stressful week at work.
And it's one hundred and twenty degreesin Phoenix, so nobody likes that.
And I did a lot of workingtoo, and then now we're doing this
show because this is this is thenewest thing that we're all about. So
boom, that's our week in recap. Now for all of our listeners out

(03:50):
there, we want to play agame. This will help us, This
will help us break the ice withsome folks and maybe give some insights and
we'll do some better introductions later on. I guess for those who don't know
anybody here. But let's play twoTruths in a Lie. So you guys
have your two truths and your liesready to go. You want me to
go first, I'll go first, and then you guys hold your answers.

(04:12):
I'll ask you each one which oneyou think is the lie, and then
we'll see if you win or not. Okay, there's just this is just
like that. Whose line is it? Anyway? Thing? Wouldrew care?
There are no points and we actuallydon't care who wins, but we're just
gonna play anyway. Okay, twotruths in a Lie? Ready. I
spent a year doing hip hop danceinstruction. I've been on an Alaskan cruise,
and I hate living in Texas. Those are some tricky ones I don't

(04:36):
know all right, who's gonna answerfirst? Who's up first? Hip hop
one? That's a lie. Daniellethinks the hip hop one's a lie,
Katie, what do you think?I'm gonna say the hip hop one too?
Well. I'm sorry to disappoint bothof you, but I actually wasn't
hip hop. I feel like Ineed to see videos of that. I

(04:57):
will send you both pictures right now. I gotta find h'm in my phone
right now. But I was onehundred percent getting down with it. I
almost I almost went the class wasthe class was going to Vegas to open
for n Sync. At one pointthey had like a bunch of different classes
from different places that were going inthey do their little thing, and then
n Sync was going to play laterthat night, so we were going to

(05:18):
open for end Zinc or whatever. But I missed the boat on that trip.
But I was one hundred percent inhip hop. I wore the baggy
pants and the beanie and everything.I do hate living in Texas. And
the lie is that I have beenon an Alaskan cruise that comes next year.
So who wants to go to Who'sup next? Who's got there?

(05:38):
To? Truths? In a lie? I bet I'm gonna win. I'll
go. I know the both ofyou, okay, Katie. And when
I was making this list last night, I was trying my hardest to make
sure it was like maybe something youdidn't know about me? All right,
So we're going to start out withI was a twin, I'm an only

(05:58):
child, and I went to aprivate school. Ooh, all three of
these are stumpers. The only childone. I'm gonna go with the only
child one. You are You arenot an only child? Ah, it's
a lie, I'm telling them thelie. Right, Yeah, that's the
lie. You're not an only child. I know. Were you really a
twin though? Yes? So Iguess that would be a truth. My
my twin passed away when we weresix months in the womb. Can you

(06:24):
imagine two of me? No?But I know someone who could. You
know what I'm saying. Know whati'm saying, all right, Danielle,
I think I can get yours too, I'm pretty sure. Okay, I
love my kid. I want tomove out of Nevada. I'm an only
girl. Oh wait, no,sorry, I'm an only child. I
already had that one last night too. I know the win. I know

(06:46):
that I know the lie. Iknow the lie. I'm going to say
only child. It's the only childone. Yeah, I have two older
brothers and a little brother. Easy, easy, easy, easy. Okay,
this one should be fairly easy forboth of you, but maybe not.
I think for sure at least oneof you will be able to spot
the lie. But here we go. I've met the original sixties Batman.

(07:11):
My favorite car brand is Ford, and my favorite superhero is spider Man.
Car brand superhero. So okay, you're going with the car brand, daniel
and Katie, you're going with thesuperhero. Yeah. Okay, So Danielle's
right, it's the car brand. He loves his Dodge. I'm on my
fifth one. Get out of here. I canna say car brand. And
then you said superhero, and I'mlike, wait a second. He's the

(07:35):
most relatable character, so you know, I give him the love because we
had that conversation a while back, many years ago. All right, hit
me with your hit me with yoursecond one, katie're up. Favorite movie
is Little Mermaid, Favorite movie isAustin Powers. Ah wait or favorite or

(08:00):
country music? I know, Danielledoes, I gotta I gotta go with
Okay, the lie, dude, the lie has to be the country music.
It has to be what do yousee? Do you think I'm gonna
have to say the country music too? Because A Little Mermaid and Awesome Powers
they're good movies, great movies.Oh I actually love country music. Get

(08:20):
the fuck Little Mermaid? I watchevery year on my birthday while eating cheesecake.
And I've actually never seen Austin Powers. I'm about to I'm throwing a
fit. You've never seen any ofthem? No, okay, ladies and
gentlemen, if you would like tosupport Katie and her in her watching of

(08:41):
Awesome Powers, you can send well. We set up a GoFundMe page so
we can help support this. Howhave you never seen? You just not
interested in it? You've never hadthe chance to see it. I think
they put it on one time, like the last week of school in one
of our classrooms, and like Junehigh, and I just I didn't have

(09:01):
an interest in it. I grantedI have not tried to watch it in
the last twenty years. I'm genuinelyoffended right now. Like one. I
mean, there's some parties in someof them that aren't that great, but
at least the first one Damns assome of the best comedical comical, com

(09:24):
comedy I don't know, comedy movie, I don't know. They sploit all
of the spy movies all the time. Those are incredible. M m m.
I'm disappointed and offended. Gonna I'mgoing to send you a copy of
those, That's what I'll have todo, just just like Howard the Duck.
All right, Danielle, what doyou got? All right, I'm
gonna win this one too. Iused to be a bartender. I hate

(09:46):
cats. I want another baby.Wait a minute, Oh no, I
know where the lie is. It'sit's very strange, but okay, I
mean you want to hit the resetbutton. The lie is that you hate
cats. What do you think Ithink you're lying? Is I was a
bartender. She was a bartender. The lie, yeah, I hate cats

(10:09):
because you, in fact love cats. I love them. So she's trying
to have more babies? Did youjust want? Yeah? Yeah, she
likes that shit. Can I tellyou a story real quick, even though
they keep you up. This ishow I met her. Okay, I
was a hiring manager for a certaincompany ex company, and this this child

(10:31):
needed a job, and so shecame to interview with me, and I
hired her. And then like threeweeks later she was like, I have
to tell you something and I waslike, all right, I thought I
had something to do with training. We were setting her for something. She
goes, Okay, I'm pregnant andI was like, okay, well it's
not mine. Like she didn't wantto say anything during the interview because she

(10:52):
thought she was going to get denieda job if she was pregnant. It's
happened. I'm sure I'm not notgoing to I know that happened, but
no, that was not the case. And so you were. You were
a badass your whole pregnancy. Idon't know if you remember a lot of
this, but you were doing somewild ass shit at that job. I
was forever like, hey, stopdoing that because you're pregnant, Like don't

(11:15):
lift those things, Like don't it. There was a certain there was a
certain chase element that we weren't supposedto do. But you were pretty good
at doing it because you will callthe boys in blue right, And I
remember the final like the last Iwas like, I'm gonna a fire for
this if I keep letting you doit. You were like eight and a
half months pregnant. You were there, and you were you took off out

(11:35):
into the desert after this dude hedid saying called you a name or some
shit when you went to try andlike talk to him and he called you
something out of pocket, and Ijust remember, like they I heard all
the sirens and everything, so Iknew it was going down. And you
were fucking in three parking lots overand your flip flops weren't on no more.
You were fucking chased this dude acrossthe desert. And I'm like,

(11:56):
Okay, that's enough of that youhave. You are actually on light duty.
You're allowed to do record keeping andanswer the phones. You're not allowed
to do anything else anymore. Disabled. Yeah, still, you were a
whole menace. You were a wholemenace. I had to I had to
make a couple of reports look different. So, well, good for you.

(12:20):
What do you want? You sayyou want a girl? You want
to girl, Your husband wants agirl. I want to girl. Any
boys in this house, well, well even the playing field, But you
want to hit the reset button onthat. They're fun when they're infants.
They're so cute and tiny. Man. Well, then left but they're like
school this year, I'm gonna havean empty man. So for like three

(12:46):
hours a day, you're like,so that means I'll be I want to
start over hours of sleep. Idon't want good luck to you. All
right with that, we'll take aquick break and listen to some friends out
in the podcast world and some localcommercials wherever you'd be. We'll be right
back and welcome back in. Ihope you had fun out there with your

(13:07):
commercials. We've been having fun behindthe scenes over here because there was an
incident with a freezer. But that'sdifferent. That's that's not for everybody.
That's gonna be Patreon content. Allright, that's rank there you go,
there, you go. Right,we're gonna play Hey, listen, I'm

(13:28):
gonna play some sounds from famous thingsand you're gonna try and guess what they
are. I start with a supereasy one, so to play it,
I'm gonna give you like five secondsand then you have to tell me what
you think it is. Again, there's no points to this. Nobody cares
who wins. We're just doing thisbecause that's what we do. So first
sound, are you ready? Everybodyheard's Katie's jamming. She knows what it

(13:50):
is. She knows what it is, all right, Gude, Danielle,
you don't know what it is,tell me what it is it is,
Disney. Yeah, that's the opening. That is the most magical sound of
my of my life. That's theonly sound I really need to be honest
with you, to be honest withyou, that's the only sound we all
need. All right, I gotone more song coming up for you.

(14:11):
Let me see if you guys canget this one. Well, I mean,
you know, super professional, themost professional podcast podcast right here,
all right, here we go,see if you guys can guess this one.
I don't think Danielle will get it. Just just wondering if anybody could

(14:35):
get that one. JJ's favorite show. Is it really not like you can't
watch Power Rangers all day? Likethe new, the new versions, the
old and the new. Who watchesPower Rangers all the time, any of
them? Really? Well that it'sgood to know. That means that means
you're doing something right, You're raisingthem right, because there's something like twenty

(14:58):
five generations of Power Rangers now.So yeah, I think that was the
pink Power Ranger back on. Thatwas nineteen hundreds late nineteen hundreds, like
you dressed up. I even hadthe gloves that had the little button,
and I want those pushed it noises. You think they got something like that

(15:18):
today. I got the picture.I'll send it to you. I'm sure
they got that, like the originalMagatory. So I think there's one on
my shelf up here somewhere. I'vegot all kinds of crazy stuff. Let's
see if we can find this megasord. Let's see if it's legitimately the
original one, or if it's justand you's got the Blue Ranger and the

(15:39):
Red Ranger. That is that isan original megasorder right there. This is
legit over here, it's a legitat Danielle's house. She knows about these
powers. I should have known whetherher two boys the rest of us are
just going off nostalgia. She's overhere like, oh yeah, we watched
that every day. That that inGoku. I am not just for the
record real, I am not goingto play the dragonos. Okay, next

(16:02):
up, Let's see if we getthis one. I don't know if you
guys will get it, So Iwonder if I might get copyright straight for
this. Probably not. I haveno idea, like it kind of sounds
familiar, but I don't know thatbrain is not brain. This morning,
they're going to be mad. You'reboth going to be mad when I tell

(16:22):
you what it is. That wouldbe the opening theme to Breaking Bad.
I've never watched that. I haveOkay, okay, see in my brain?
What see? And you were givingme a hard time slightly, I
don't I don't understand. Yeah,look, I'm breaking mad. I don't

(16:48):
know. It's a good thing thatyou spend that much time watching TV or
movies or whatever. Like I tryto limit myself, but there are some
things that are really worth like bingewatching, like if you have the time,
Like seriously, I mean, it'ssuch a great series, Like it
explores a lot of crazy stuff, like human stuff, like like what would
you do in that situation? Likeif you had all that stuff facing you

(17:11):
and you had the ability to dosomething, but it was just insanely illegal
and highly dangerous to do it,aside from the the part where you're being
hunted by law enforcement, like there'slike real criminals out there who you know
want you dead. At the sametime, like I don't know, man
me me when when I watched itthe first time. I was just freshly

(17:33):
trying to get my life together towhere it's like it right, it kind
of hit I'm not knowing you too, like I never even but that took
like a personal note to you,didn't it. That's that's crazy. I
mean, that's it's good to know. Though. He is something out that
you can kind of relate to.But I mean not in that sense.
I don't think you were out thereheis and burging it up. But no,

(17:57):
it wasn't like I said, itwasn't that extent, but it was.
It was kind of like for meat the time watching it, it
was like, you know, ifI didn't turn my life around, who
knows? I Gustavo Freeing doing myown breaking bad. Yeah, you were
working in fast food, though, now I'm kind of wondering. I gotta

(18:17):
wonder two truths, two truths ina lie. I didn't work in fast
food. I did not work infast food. I know for sure.
All right, next one, herewe go. I don't know, well,
Danielle, I bet you get thisone. Oh straight for that one.

(18:41):
Really, Bobby is gonna be upsetwith you. It sounds familiar,
but I can't pinpoint it. Ihave a feeling that I have a feeling
that for sure Danielle watches this, this show, but I don't know.
I don't know if Katie did.So that was the theme to Yellowstone.

(19:02):
No, I never seen that one. Oh see what? And I have
watched that, But you're like, you're like you live in like horse country,
like wild mustangs everywhere, and you'relike a cowgirl. You're like a
cowboy girl thing thing. I soundedbad. You always wear cowboy boots and
shit, you didn't watch Yellowstone freakingwild. That's wild to me. I

(19:25):
haven't watched it in like a yearand a half. So I'm mad.
I'm honestly mad that I didn't getthat one. All right, are we
ready for the next sound? Yep? All right, next sound coming in.
I don't know if either one ofyou are gonna get this because it's
not it's not your thing. Itsounds familiar, but it's gonna be I

(19:51):
don't know. It's gonna be somethingfrom the night Well, No, it'd
be the early two thousands for us, Katie. I don't I don't think
that. I don't think daniel wouldknow what this is. I'm stumped.
Yeah, Lord of the Rings.Oh, I've seen that, I just
haven't seen it in years. Haveyou seen all of them? Though?
Mm hmmm, that's an amazing thing. I think i've seen. I don't

(20:15):
think i've seen Lord of the Ringssince probably it came out. Yeah,
all right, ready for the nextone. Lord of the Rings you both
miss And it was kind of likethe epic version, so it wasn't really
like a notable like the Fellowship ofthe Ring is probably the most notable one
of the songs. But all right, here we go. Let's drive this
one real quick. Anyone is thata Marvel one? No, No,

(20:44):
it's it's close to, but it'sit's not. It is an epic,
an epic series though it's Oh mygosh, I can picture the show.
Yeah, I would hope you could. But I'm like, I'm stumped on
the name. I am like,my, oh my gosh, it's uh,

(21:06):
isn't that that show with that Ohit's it's gonna be that show with
that thing with those guys in itand the dragon it definitely has it definitely
has a dragon in it or three. Yes, I'm like, I'm I'm
stumped on I know the sequel seriesis the House of the Dragon, but

(21:27):
I I can't think of that name. It actually says what it is in
the House of the Dragon title, like it's the Game of Thrones. Yes,
you know what's funny is I was, oh, you gotta watch that.
I was about to say, youknow, the guy with the dragon
and the little midget guy. Yeah, yeah, let's offend some people with

(21:52):
it. Actually, I don't knowwhy that would be offensive. That's a
term. I don't know whatever itis a term. I'm not knocking it.
Like I love a rock m Yeah, midget wrestling. You ever seen
that showed you have Yeah the Bar? When I was bartending, they had

(22:15):
a midget wrestling at the bar andthe bar and I had that one.
Was funny do they when they drinklike shots? Is it like big for
them? They didn't get to drinkuntil after the show, you know.
Gun fact Mitch Bobby loves loves acertain type of midget wrestling. Really,

(22:45):
he's like, I need to knowmore. I can't even wait to record
with him tomorrow. Now I'll belike, hey, Weddie, I want
to know what type of midgets youlike to watch wrestle. I can't this
is gonna be so much fun.Bro, you got a lot of love
on this show over here. Ican't wait. H all right, let's

(23:07):
do I'm really curious now because there'sonly so many kinds. But I'm gonna
find out. I'm gonna point blank, I'm gonna point blank ask him on
that thing. I'm not gonna tellhim what we're talking about. All right,
this will be this will be thelast one we run with. Let's
let's see what we get. Iknow it beloved the TV show. I

(23:32):
know it the TV show. Whydoes my brain want to go to reading
rainbow? I don't even think toNell knows what that is. With a
look on her face, she waslike, huh, I've heard it,
but I can't. I'm definitely notreading rainbow. Are you ready that that

(23:53):
was? That was the ALF themesong? Okay, hey, you know
what is the same time moment?Full circle moment? She was right in
there with it. MM, likeI should have done that, especially since
I brought that up. She saidhe was going to play it too,

(24:15):
but I didn't think he wasactly gonnaplay it. I'm out here with I'm
out here with it, hey,And my defense wasn't reading the Rainbow on
like the same channel as alf probably. I mean, I'm sure that they
all, I'm sure that they allhad a bunch of the same stuff running
and syndication and everything all at thesame time with whatever they're doing with that.

(24:38):
That's the last of our hey listens, and I'm pretty sure this is
this is kind of the same thingthat we did with the NFL listings when
we were when we were doing thatthroughout the whole season. So four hundred
thousand points to the both of you, well played and uh and then that's
it. That's the best. We'llsee if we can add up more points

(25:00):
later for something else. For now, though, we have to take a
quick commercial break and we'll be rightback on the Three's Company podcast and welcome
back in Now. We got totake a couple of serious issues into consideration
as we run into some hot takes. We'll do a couple of hot takes
real quick before we get these folksout of here. The first hot take

(25:25):
is an entertainment hot take. Thiscomes off of some different Google lists and
stuff like that where they do somepolling. But this hot take says podcasts
aren't worth listening to. I don'tknow what your what your thoughts on that
are? Now? Obviously I listento podcasts a lot. I think they're
better than better than any radio becauseany any new song that comes to the

(25:48):
radio is already available through streaming, and then most artists, when they release
albums anymore, you're just getting asong off they're streaming. So typically I
like to listen to people about differentstuff, And there's podcasts, many,
many podcasts for every genre, andso you can kind of find some of
those shows that you like and findnew ones all the time and get people's

(26:11):
opinions and their thought processes and stuff. So it's kind of like, I
don't know, I think it's betterit's it's a form of talk radio,
I think, but I think it'sbetter than it's more interactive. But what
do you guys think? What's yourwhat's your hot take on this or podcast
worth listening to? As we recordone, Danielle, what do you think?
Yeah? I think they are.Do you have a specific like genre

(26:32):
that you like to like? Doyou listen to anything like consistently? I
know you don't listen to you guysin a dart We talked about that earlier.
Crimes. Is that more like audiobooks or are these are podcasts that
are discussing like like actual crimes thathappened, so like an episode of Unsolved
Mysteries. But it's it's in theform of people are they are they experts

(26:56):
or the just people who talk aboutit and they call in experts kind of
a thing. It's more like storiesof like what's happened? And those are
the ones, those are the onesthat you you check out and listen to.
That's your genre. Okay, yeah, I dig it, Katie,
what about you? I know youare podcast worth listening to. So I
never really listened to podcasts up untilthe Dart because well I know you and

(27:22):
Bobby, so it's always been prettypretty comical listening to YouTube because I know
you too. But after after Istarted listening to you guys, I started
listening to some of the other ones, and I I personally it I like
listening to podcasts, and like Isaid, is I I didn't listen to

(27:47):
any until you guys, and I'lllisten to uh. Some of the other
ones that I really like are themurder mystery and true crime and everything,
Okay, and I agree. Ithink that I think if you find your
genre, and many genres of podcasts, you can get a lot out of

(28:07):
them. I don't think that thatstatement is valid at all, that podcasts
aren't worth listening to because you canfind a lot of I mean that's how
social media works too, right,Like you just kind of get in and
find all the different things that youlike and connect the network with all these
different people. And podcasting is doingthe same thing. There's when I look

(28:30):
at like Brian in his Unfiltered Discussions, the networking that he's been able to
do is taking them to such aheight at this point, and he's releasing
an episode of the next couple ofweeks that I think is just going to
be incredible. I'm excited to sitdown and listen to that, but I'm
also excited to know that, likeon his journey, he's gotten that far
but through podcasting, Right, Ithink it's worth listening to him because I

(28:52):
think it's worth getting involved in gettingnetworked out there and doing that stuff.
So I mean, yeah, they'redefinitely worth something, all right, Two
ladies in the podcast, I havefashion hot takes and I will not I
don't know if I will be contributingto this, but number one, this
is a hot take for people.Crocs are a must have footwear item.

(29:17):
Katie says, no, I don'tknow any crocks. My kids do,
but I don't, do you,Okay, And so that's crazy, so
listen, so listen. Crocs arelike, yeah, so so your usband
said no crocs allowed, No,he's I don't care. So crocs are
like a staple in my house right. Well, one, I'm a customizable

(29:42):
I like to have, Like ifif I have my Batman shirt on,
I want my Batman croc gibbits on. So you know, I'm you know,
I'm a diva in that sense.But y'all don't you don't have a
fuck with crocs though? Do youjust hate your feet? So I I
came across I don't know if it'strue or not, but I can across
something on I think it was Facebookor TikTok. Where have you ever seen

(30:03):
the movie Idiocracy? Yes, along time ago. I don't remember,
right, So, you know,I don't know if it's true or not.
I just came across this reel theother day that the guy was.
This guy was saying how in themovie the the producer wanted to come up
with the Oh I've seen looking andit was crocs that they used in the

(30:30):
movie, Yeah, to portray howstupid these people would look if they kept
going down the path that they weredoing or where and they crushed. So
I think for me, like crocs. Do you remember, now, granted
your you're from the same age eraas me, but you're not a girl
clearly, But do you remember howlike little girl shoes back in like the

(30:53):
late eighties or late nineties were likethose rubber plastic get kind of sandals.
Yeah, they look like frozen.Yeah, So any girl that grew up
wearing those know that those just killyour feet to where I have never tried
on a pair of crocs because thosejust make me think of those. You

(31:15):
know, they're not the same thing. They're not even close to the same
thing. They look the same. You've been deceived. Crocs will set you
free. I'm telling you. They'rebreatheable. You put them in four wheel
drive and tell you they're the bestyou look. I've I've done theme parks
in crocs, all right. Theywill save your feet all day long.

(31:37):
You gotta you gotta get some lovefor those things. They're not they're not
the same as them hard plastic toyshoes. That's what they make action figures
out of and ship Yeah. Oh, I get what you're saying. But
Crocs I'm agreeing with this hot take. Crocs are a must have footwear item.
We visit the Croc store often. You gotta actual like Crocs store.
Yeah. Yeah, you can goin and they have Croc exclusives only.

(32:02):
Yeah, what do you mean there'syou can go into the store and if
they don't have in store, youcan buy it all. It's just like
any other retail But they're fantastic.Yeah, all right, let's see.
I'm gonna guess this one is isa yes for the both of you.
This fashion hot take. This iseveryone should try brightly colored hair once.
Oh man, the amount of yes, the amount of yes coming across my

(32:25):
screens, Holy smokes, I'm tryingso hard. I should dye my hair.
Yeah, but why is it?I mean, I get change in
your look. I'm I'm with itright because I've I'm doing this whole thing
right now. Where I was justwhen I moved here, I could only
wear the like the I don't evenknow what these are called. Their freaking

(32:46):
dry fit because other you just immediatelysweat everywhere, and so I couldn't wear
cotton anymore. But like after likethis year, this year, this summer,
this hot girl summer, I'm doingthe thing where I wear like the
shirt the o button shirts, thebutton up shirts open with my drive fits,
but with the crazy patterns on them, like I have to have all

(33:06):
the ones with like superhero shit,Like I'm that's me though, I've gone
from wearing like dark colors to likesuper bright stuff with my thing, So
I kind of get it. Butwhy the hair, Like you just gotta
you just gotta do it. Sometimesit's like a personality thing. Yeah,
yeah, so I would say, like at my job right now, can't
have unnatural color hair, But Iwill say once I retire, and I'm

(33:32):
probably won't be able to retire untilmy seventies, but yeah, once I
retire, I am so doing myhair bright knee on pink and all the
neon colors, like I'm gonna havea different color every week. So then,
and Danielle, what about you,You're just you just do it right
now. You don't care I'll tireor not. I will do whatever color

(33:54):
I want. The only thing that'ssex to. I have to bleach my
hair, so I try not tooften because it damages my hair. But
like, if I could go differentcolors all the time, I would what's
the what's the number one color? So, daniel what's the number one?
Purple? Okay? If you couldhave it purple all the time, it'd

(34:15):
be purple blue. I'm gonna getpink. Okay, got it? Extreme
green? Here we go? Allright? Green? Do you not know
me? Like LimeWire green, likebright neon pink? There it is,
Okay, we jump, we jump. We just got a couple more here.

(34:35):
I want to cover with you guysreal quick. Some travel ones.
Here's some that are it's interesting toget your take. Some of these are
not necessarily these ones specifically, ButI've done hot takes with Bobby, but
your your perspectives are different. Obviously. Number one and I think I think
both of you are going to disagreewith this, but American road trips are

(34:55):
overrated, is the hot take?I yeah, I'm and I know right
because I know Katie you've traveled alongdistances on the road, the open road,
and I think you enjoy it.And Danielle, I know you've gone
places too, And I think thatI mean, especially you as like with
a family and stuff like, that'sprobably one of enjoyable experiences, right,

(35:17):
I love it. I love travelingall over the place, right, just
getting on the road and taking offright. Yeah, it's kind of a
thing I do too. I hateflying. If I can drive anywhere,
I will. I hate the ideaof being on someone's schedule for the airport
and then the planes and you gotto get there hours early, and whatever
your flight back day is, youhave to cut whatever you're doing short because

(35:37):
you have to make sure you getthe airport. I hate being on like
a time schedule like that. Soif we can go anywhere and we can
just get in the car and drive, that's that's what I think is a
better thing, because then you knowyou're definitely gonna take it's definitely gonna take
longer to get there, whatever thecase is, but you're gonna have much
more fun doing it all the time. It's a calming and relaxing I think,

(36:00):
yeah, for sure, because you'reable to get out on the road
with your thoughts, with your music, with you know, whatever the case
may be. And I think thatjust does a lot more for you,
all right, everyone should go ona cruise vacation at least once. Yes,
I've never been on a cruise.I haven't either, but but you

(36:20):
think you should go on one?Yeah? Yeah, I think I think
it would be fun. Just youknow, I I watch a lot of
a lot of television where you know, you see bad things happen, and
so i'd have that, you know, Titanic type of thing like in the
back of my mind, right,that's I think that's a lot of people's

(36:43):
fears that that dallophobia or what haveit. It's sinking or you know,
whatever the case may be. Butlately I've been looking into it, and
so I think next year we're scheduledfor at least one, if not two,
just to see what the experience is, because there's got to be more
to it, right, Like theyif it was as dangerous or unforgiving,

(37:05):
as like people freak out and makeit seem or like it was this horrible
experience outside those businesses, wouldn't likecontinue to be like going all the time,
right, So, like to me, I started realizing, like it's
like flying, right, like ifplanes are falling out of the sky and
crashing into airports and stuff, sooften then there wouldn't be flights and that's
just not the case. So it'sit's very possible that cruises are are probably

(37:27):
more rewarding and you get stuff outof it. So and I heard that
they're they're actually fairly reasonable price. So yeah, yeah, depending on what
cruise line and where you're going fromand everything, like you and you get
a lot for it. Like Ithat's the other thing I didn't realize,
like, once you pay for thething, like that's all inclusive, everything
is paid for, You're not spendingmoney on the boat because everything is already

(37:51):
in the deal. So the onlyone that entices me is a Disney cruise.
Uh well yeah, that's those wouldbe the two we're looking at.
So I think again, it's latelyand in the last several years, I've
become a huge Disney Parks person.I've had access to a lot more of
all of that stuff, and soexpanding on that with the Disney cruise lines

(38:15):
is something that is just it itit has to happen. So and that's
where I'm learning all this information, finding all this stuff out. It's like,
well, okay, so these thingsaren't the way that they've been described.
They're very much, you know, this all inclusive thing that actually you
probably get a lot out of.So it's it looks like it's gonna be
worth the time to go do it. So I think everyone should do one.

(38:35):
I haven't done one yet, butI think everyone should do one.
Wearing socks with sandals is perfectly fine. No, no, okay, well
thank you for I guess I guessI'll just stop doing it now or whatever.
It's rude. All all the allthe men in my house, the
boys and the men wear socks withsandals, and it drives me. And

(38:59):
that's I'm con fully yelling at anine year old. You look silly wearing
socks with samples. Yeah, we'reliving our best lives doing it all right.
That's just the way it is.So so the two of you disagree,
I agree, and that's fine.Last one this and this one probably

(39:20):
well, Danielle, for you,I would think this is something you got
to look at because you've got boysthat you're raising. Katie. I know
you probably have some some insights onthis, but professional athletes are terrible role
models. I tend to agree withthis. I agree with that there there
are there are some who you know, personify some stuff, but but for
the most part, they're just horriblerole models. And I think for me,

(39:45):
it's it's this like I want youto I want you to kind of
go after the competitiveness, like youshould be teaching young men and young women
that you know, being competitive isa good thing, that kind of stuff,
Right, But when you're saying like, if if you're competitive, then
you get to have all these millionsof dollars, or you can become this,

(40:06):
uh, this celebrity status or whatever, instead of like, have a
love for this thing, whether itbe football, baseball, wrestling, right,
and be good at it and becompetitive in it so that you're you
know, you create yourself into likea kind of a good person. They're
saying, if you go in hereand beat these people up, or go
in here and do this thing thatway, you can become a celebrity and
have millions of dollars. Like me, I think that's the wrong message.

(40:27):
Yeah mmmm well, well, well, uh let's that'll. I think that's
that's the end of this episode.I think we've come to the end of
it. We've learned a little bitabout each other. I definitely I definitely
have to send over there. I'mgreat. I'm so glad to fucking zoo

(40:49):
over here. All right, SoDanielle and her zoo. Look, we've
learned a little bit about each other. We've also learned that neither one of
you know what the Game of Thronessoundtrack sounds like. And also, no,
I said Game of Thrones. Ijust didn't remember the name. You
said dragons, I said House ofthe Dragon. I said House of the

(41:12):
Dragon, Yes, I did.You said dragons and midgets, And I
don't think that's the name of theshows in this episode. But I don't
think it's the name of that show. And apparently I'm the only one who
wears crocs around here at this show. But I'm gonna get you, guys
both turned on the crocks. I'mgonna get you some gift cards and some

(41:35):
stuff like that. I will createmore croc legionnaires. Other than that,
I think we're good. Do youguys have anything else you want to like?
You wrap up with me? Okay, all right, well I'll come
up with something catchy. Okay, good for the next one, right,
all right, yep, We're gonnahave to We're gonna have to rival Bobby's

(41:57):
words of wisdom. It will bea weekly flash of the Titans as it
were. All right, well, real quick, we'll do we'll do the
obligatories. You can find us onsocial media. I really actually don't know
what that is yet. It'll probablybe something like Three's Company Pod because I

Katie's got to turn her air conditioneron because her phone is going to catch
