Welcome back to the second half of Tom's Polka Party
on the program. Today we are celebrating the fifty seventh
Annual International Polka Festival, held August twenty ninth to the
thirty first the Double Tree by Hilton in Pittsburgh Cranberry Area, Mars, Pennsylvania.
They've been there for several years, a great, great setup

for the IPA. I went out there a couple of
years ago and really enjoyed myself. Haven't I a chance
to get back again, but I definitely want to in
the future because the IPA is doing great things in
Polka music, and as I told you earlier on the program,
a lot of great music. We played a lot of
great music that you can find out there at their
kickoff party, which already occurred with Alex Miikester. There was

music Friday with John Stevens in Double Shot, Eddie Foreman Orchestra,
the Natural Talent Polka country Musicians. Today Saturday, the Pool
Party starts at eleven thirty with Twin City Sounds and
then music from five to one point fifteen am from
Frankielishka's Blue Magic Pa Tribute band Clinic and Friends. Special
appearances by Molly b and On Sunday, Polke Mass starts

at ten, followed by the annual election of Officers and
convention meeting for the IPA members. Pole Party starts with
Mond Valley Bush at twelve from four to one am.

the people who got into the Hall of Fame this year.
The twenty twenty five IPA Hall of Fame selectees in
the Living category John cray Witz and Mark Jensen, Deceased category,
Bob Earle, Chester Palla, and the Pioneer category Richard Sendra.
The Joe Josiak Award goes to Harold Otto. If you'd
